Chapter 5: Day 4 Arc 1 Fair Play is Turnabout Part 1
Near An Abandoned Theater within Kita Ward, Kyoko Kirigiri Third Person POV
The early morning breeze cleanly swept through the metropolitan city of Tokyo as the sun rose upon the city. It was a refreshing feeling for the general grogginess Kyoko felt for the past few days.
Some part of her wants to blame Hope's Peak for it, but she's not prideful enough to disregard the fact she is the sole reason for her current problems.
Yet she can't help but wish to put off the issue entirely.
Frankly when she saw the investigation request on her phone this morning she was more than happy to run off to Kita Ward…
If just to get away from the intense shame she felt. However, she did not rush herself.
She had looked into the request she received this morning and there was very little information from what she could find. In fact all she could find was the identity of the victim, Elfriede Bohm. From what she read online, Bohm was a German Ambassador for Japan.
Considering the victim's identity and the lack of news on the death of the Ambassador… Well Kyoko could only guess that whatever crime she was about to be looking into was a recent one.
As she continued along the streets of Kita Ward, Kyoko takes one last look at her phone. She appears to be nearing the location she was told she'd meet the requester. Kyoko would be looking for a man by the name of Johan Bohm, a cousin of the Ambassador who happened to live in Japan.
Pocketing her phone as she neared the location Kyoko found herself questioning just how recent the crime was. As she could make out that the exact building she had been told to come to was an active crime scene.
This caused Kyoko to pause for a moment before sighing to herself. She doesn't doubt her skills at all but it has been a while since she's investigated a crime scene with a police presence. These kinds of things are rarely productive even for a detective of her caliber, especially with Tokyo Police.
Upon approaching the police-ridden building she heard yells of her name, "Miss Kirigiri!"
Looking over towards the noise she sees the man who had made the request in the first place along with two police officers, one male and one female. Approaching the three of them Kyoko asks the man, "Johan Bohm?"
The scraggly brown haired foreigner responded with, "Yes, thank you for coming. I wasn't certain any of the local detectives would respond to my request, especially so soon! I was worried I would have to wait a few days before anyone would even look my way."
A fair few of detectives would wait a few days on a case like this just to be certain they aren't wasting time on a case the police could solve. But… Well, Kyoko doesn't need excuses to investigate a request.
"Of course Mr. Bohm. If I may ask, as your request didn't have many details, that the death of your cousin was-." Before Kirigiri could even finish her question she was interrupted.
Johan Bohm quickly stuttered out, "Yes… I-I'm afraid my cousin was killed l-last night. There weren't many d-details I could share as I don't know them myself."
The female officer crosses her arms as she says, "You didn't need to call over a private detective Mr. Bohm. Police can handle this issue, besides a government detective is already investigating the case."
Turning towards Kyoko the officer then says, "Kirigiri was it? I'd suggest not wasting your time on this case as you probably have more important things to do. The police are more than enough to handle this." The older male officer didn't seem as certain as his female co-worker.
Bohm seemed to get offended at the officer's choice of words, "Handled? What nonsense! I heard you talking with that smarmy 'detective' of yours earlier and it was quite clear none of you have any idea on what occurred!"
The female officer glared at the foreign man and looked seconds away from snapping at him but Kyoko decided to intervene before that was the case, "If you're worried about my credentials considering how young I am, I hope this can put that to rest." At that point Kirigiri pulled out her card.
Looking over the card the female officer then questioned aloud, "Detective Library?" While the female officer had clearly no idea what it meant the male officer instantly recognized the card.
Snapping his fingers, the male officer then said, "I knew that name was familiar! You're Fuhito Kirigiri's granddaughter, yeah?"
Suddenly being asked a question took Kyoko slightly off balance though her blank face didn't really show it as she said, "Yes."
"He somebody famous?" The female officer asked.
The older man seemed excited to reminisce as he said, "Famous? He was one of the two founders of the Detective Library! Non government associated detective firms would have a much harder time finding work and legal standing if not for people like him!"
"So we have to listen to her or something?" The other officer asked, suddenly acting uneasy.
"No but considering it says '910' on her card we should at least let her do her work." Said the older man.
Putting her card back into her coat pocket, Kyoko stared at the female officer for a moment before the woman said, "Stop staring at me! If you want to investigate the crime scene so bad go have a look, apparently we ain't allowed to stop you." The officer was clearly annoyed with her…
The fact she had no idea what the Detective Library was as a police officer is completely her fault…
Though before Kyoko headed into the building Bohm grabbed her hand suddenly before he stated, "Thank you Miss Kirigiri! Please I beg you to figure out what happened to my cousin!" Cautiously pulling her hand away from the man Kirigiri nods before heading inside.
Upon entering the building it became obvious to Kyoko that the place in question appeared to be an abandoned theater of some sort. Which led her to having to ask one of the officers inside to lead her to the scene of the crime, after explaining who she was and why she was here.
Which leads her to now.
Within the auditorium lay the crime scene. At the center of the stage lay the victim, Elfriede Bohm. Though lay was probably the wrong word. The scene was graphic, but not one she hadn't seen before.
As she stated earlier, center stage was where the victim's corpse could be seen. She was pinned to a makeshift cross made out of floorboards though she wasn't in a crucified position. Rather her body was tied around the center floorboard with her wrists pinned to the top of the cross while her feet were pinned just slightly off the ground to its bottom.
The nails that were pinning her to the cross were haphazardly done, as if the killer didn't care if the victim fell off. Though considering the state of the body, they likely were pinned posthumously.
As she reached the stage she noticed that there appeared to be a compartment under the stage. Though she filed that away in the back of her mind for now, she instead focused onto getting on the stage to look at the body and scene more closely.
There were a few things that immediately stuck out in her mind upon getting up to the stage. Firstly was the text scrawled into the floor surrounding the victim's corpse though it appeared to be in a foreign language. Secondly was the grand piano that was obscured by the curtains from her previous view. Thirdly was the strange mask on top of it.
There also appeared to be a backstage that could hold more evidence as well as the compartment under the stage… All that as well as the surrounding officers that she could ask about the case, well… This isn't the worst crime scene she's had to work with.
Starting her investigation Kyoko approaches the corpse of the victim to take a better look. Outside of the nails pinning her to the makeshift cross only two things really stick out to her, the expression of the victim and a piece of paper in an inner coat pocket. Though the paper was pierced by a nail unfortunately…
So leaving that for now the Ultimate Detective turns her vision towards the vacant expression of the victim, it was an expression of someone who had given up all hope. Blood dripped from her mouth down to her neck and then Kyoko noticed one last detail.
There was a gaping hole in the neck of the victim as well as bullet wounds in the stomach.
At this point it was obvious the victim was shot to death. So with some trepidation Kyoko pulled out the nail stuck into the paper and after a few seconds she was holding a blank piece of paper…
She sighed to herself as she pulled out a UV flashlight, it is quite annoying how often she has had to use this.
The message she read was not one she could have expected…
It reads as such.
"Miss Elfriede Bohm has been accused of these crimes. Government Corruption and bribery. Blackmail of her fellow officials as well as the current Prime Minister. Murder, double homicide of (the hole made it impossible to read the text here) Bohman. The kidnapping and extortion of Josef Constantine. Using credit cards not under her name, including those of her family without permission. And finally Pedophilia, the victims being her nephews Otto and Carl Bohman, ages 13 and 15 respectively."
With everything she read Kyoko could feel her eyes widen further and further, though she does a good job at handling her shock. The words at the bottom are in another language and as such she has no idea what they could mean, the words being, "La morte. La rinascita."
Putting her light away Kyoko decides to also pocket the piece of paper almost entirely out of instinct.
She also takes the time to look at the words written on the floor, "Il giudizio viene emesso" The words circled around the pinned form of the victim and was also unreadable to Kyoko due to the language it was in. The words appeared to be written in the victim's blood, likely by the perpetrator.
Considering that she would need a way to translate the words in the future, she takes a second to take a picture of the words making sure to not have the victim's corpse in the shot. Though her shoes end up poking in.
That seems to be all she can find near the victim…
Kyoko at this point decides to head over to the other most obvious object of interest; the piano on the side of the stage. Partly because of the strange mask and clean piano within the abandoned theater, but also due to there being an officer investigating torn floorboards over there.
Upon reaching the piano she notices that the officer looking at the torn open floor appears to be annoyed… He may not be worth talking to. So instead of bothering him, at least for now, Kyoko keeps her focus towards the piano and mask.
The mask appears to be a mask depicting a tengu's face… She's seen them a few times at festivals and such but after looking over the mask there didn't appear to be anything special about it. Same with the piano.
The only odd thing about either of them is the fact they are near the crime scene at all. More so the mask than the piano, though it was strange that there was not a speck of dust upon it considering this theater is abandoned.
Sighing to herself Kyoko turns towards the officer who seemed moments away from yelling out loud as he tried to get underneath the floorboards by ripping out the ones surrounding the pre-existing hole.
Should she really try to get information from someone who seems so irritable?
"Excuse me Officer." Kyoko politely asked.
The man didn't hear her.
She felt her eyes flatten in annoyance as she asked once more if slightly sterner, "Sir?"
He just continued to pull at the floorboard despite the fact it was clearly not budging.
"If I could take a moment of your ti-." She tried one last time only to be interrupted by the man she was trying to grab the attention of.
"What in the hell do you want? Can't you see I'm busy here?" The man angrily growled out.
Kyoko kept her thoughts to herself but she really thought otherwise. "I don't mean to bother you but I would like to ask you some questions about the current case?"
The man stands up, grunting as he did so, before staring at Kyoko with a confused stare. Realization graces his face before he responds with, "Not much that I would know. I'm just trying to get under the stage since I noticed there was a space under there. Happy now?" The man began to bend back down.
"Do you have any specifics?" Kyoko presses.
"God dammit… All I know is that the victim apparently was transported across half of Tokyo in around twenty minutes before being killed. Anything else, I have no idea. I'm just trying to figure out if I'm wasting my time or not trying to get down there, which you're not helping with Miss." Angrily explained the officer.
That… Was at least new information… Not considering the man did not elaborate beyond that… That also meant she wouldn't be able to tell how useful that info was.
Did he mean from one side of the ward to another? Or actually halfway through the whole city? Was he exaggerating the time?
She decided it was best to leave him alone, he didn't seem very helpful. Not that any of Tokyo's police have ever been particularly helpful with her investigations.
Leaving the man to himself Kyoko decides it's time to check in on the backstage.
Opening the door to the backstage Kyoko notices that there are two more male officers talking to one another that suddenly stop to look at her before one of them asks, "You a detective?" Kyoko pulls out her card to show the officers.
The other officer just groans as he says, "Look around all ya want, we haven't found anything, and I doubt you'll find something that government hack hasn't already found." The least they could do is not always doubt her abilities…
Though in this case they might be right to doubt her… The backstage is rather barren. Besides a table, a few empty shelves, and a locker in the back corner… There doesn't appear to be anything within the room.
Yet she is a detective and she'll have to look it all over even if it appears at first glance to be really nothing but an empty room.
Starting with the metal table at the center of the room it was a rather standard metal table… However, that was the problem. The table was completely free of dust just like the piano on the stage, as if someone had taken the time to clean it. There also appeared to be some stains by the feet of the table that she could only assume was dried blood.
With the table looked over she heads to the shelves on the back wall only to find the same issue as the table and piano. Not a speck of dust anywhere. It's likely that the perpetrator used the theater for a time as a hideout, the building did oddly give off a lived in feel to her despite its clear abandonment.
Then lastly the lockers. Opening the first two up revealed nothing but the third one did have a trash can inside it. Upon the freeing of the can a horrid stank permeated the air, it was absolutely rancid, like a corpse had been decaying in here for days. Looking within the can she saw the oddest of sights.
The can was completely filled with dead rats and bloody rags. With a bit of hesitation she takes a closer look at the dead rats and notices that almost all have an incision at the top of the skull implying they were cleanly stabbed through the head.
Unable to take the smell any longer she pulls away, clenches her eyes shut and closes the locker. She hears the two officers chuckling at her from the center of the room.
Walking over to the two officers Kirigiri calmly asks, "Do the police have any leads on the potential suspect or is it far too early to tell?"
She expected the officer's to be difficult but the one who asked her if she was a detective responds promptly, "Wouldn't say we really have a 'suspect' but the killing fits with some murders a few years back. Considering the kind of victim, the mask on the scene, and the Italian written around the corpse it's pretty similar to a previous case. Though it wouldn't be the first time I've handled a case with a style so specific ending with a completely different culprit."
Nodding at his words Kyoko asks, "Could I have more information on these murders? I never heard of anything like this and I have been a detective since I was thirteen." Both raise an eyebrow at what she just said but don't say anything about her age. Yet she could still tell exactly what they were thinking…
The other officer hums at Kyoko's words and explains, "Wouldn't expect you to. Last time this happened the Japanese government kept it under pretty heavy wraps, they only let police and government affiliated detectives investigate the case. But at least then it was local businesses and politicians that were struck, not a goddamn ambassador of a foreign country. It's gonna be pretty hard to keep this quiet."
That didn't entirely answer her question, "Could I have more information on the murders themselves?" Was her attempt to specify.
The officer who just spoke looks to his co-worker as the man he stares at sighs before saying, "Kid I'm just gonna tell you right now, it's a real honorable thing that you've decided you need to solve this case and all. But leave it to the government this one time. You detectives are good, yeah. These are international matters, it ain't just your reputation on the line."
"I'm not here about my reputation. I was requested to look into the case by the victim's cousin, so as a detective I shall do exactly that. If I don't end up solving it so be it, but I should at least fulfill what I was requested to do." Kyoko calmly explained, though she probably let some of her annoyance creep into her words as she spoke.
"If you say so, just don't get in our way and all will be swell." The officer finishes.
At the very least she did get some information. She noted how the officer brought up the type of victim, the mask, and the Italian. The first one brings up questions of more victims at the hands of the same perpetrator. The mask brings into question its importance, is it some sort of calling card? Then the Italian, at least she knows what language she needs to translate now.
There was also the fact the government had previously kept information about cases such as this hidden away from the public. Though she doubts they'll be able to keep this under wraps like the officer's said…
Of course there's the question if these have any connection to the cases the officers were talking about. But as the first one said, even if the methods are remarkably similar it could be a completely different perpetrator.
Her thoughts aside, she has yet to fully investigate the scene.
She just needs to figure out if she can get under the stage… That compartment she saw earlier has been bugging her.
Returning to the Officer who had been pulling off the floorboards, Kyoko was pleasantly surprised to find he had in fact gotten under the stage. However, such an accomplishment was for naught. He was too far away from the compartment for that part of the stage to be useful to tear up.
Instead of dealing with the fuming cop, Kyoko tried to look for another way under the stage.
She had originally assumed there would've been an entrance in the backstage but as she mentioned, or more specifically didn't mention, there was none. This leads the Ultimate Detective to believing there may be an entrance by the stairs.
Making her way to off stage she caught a glance of someone entering the theater, this wasn't the first time she's seen someone come in, but she brings this up due to their unique attire. The sleazy looking man was clearly not a cop and while his current attire was certainly unprofessional, Kyoko knew this was the government detective the police were talking about.
Of all the people it had to be him hadn't it? Yosuke Otokita, a man infamous amongst the members of the Detective Library. She's even had the unfortunate pleasure of working with him in the past and while Kyoko doesn't like to make such claims haphazardly…
The man known as Yosuke Otokita was a man that any honest Detective would despise.
Slicked back red hair, eyes that looked as if they never had a rest in years, a black leather jacket with a brand shirt for some metal band she's never heard of, sweatpants that are in dire need of a wash, and all that combined with a consistently slouched posture... Everything about the man was unprofessional.
Yet there was no denying he was an accomplished detective…
But in her time working with him, however brief it was, she knew he was a man that hated detectives such as her with a passion. She could only assume some petty hatred led to his current appearance and attitude just so he could mock their profession with his entire being…
However, she truly doubted there was anyone that petty.
Regardless, with his appearance that means she has a very limited amount of time before he tries to kick her off of the scene. Just what she needed really… A timer to force her to work at her best.
Descending the stairs Kyoko immediately notices that there is nothing that would dictate there being an entrance to some understage compartment. Yet she couldn't make out anything as she let a bit of nervousness show despite her best efforts.
She can hear Otokita making his way towards her and can hear him yelling about 'Why was she here?'... The Ultimate Detective bites down on her lip to focus herself.
Finally, something catches her eye, that being the ramp next to the stairs. Crouching down next to the ramp Kyoko notices that the edge of the ramp doesn't entirely connect with the wall… In fact she makes out several holes in the wall and ramp that suggest that something was removed from both, she assumes it to be a kind of lock as she pulls open the ramp.
Then there it is. The entrance she's been looking for, though it might be too late.
"Kirigiri… Of all the bastards they had to send… It had to be Fuhito's precious granddaughter…" The smarmy government detective bitterly mutters.
Hope's Peak Male Dorms, Akira Furuya POV
Rising from your slumber you feel a ridiculous sense of energy. A second wind of sorts, whatever happened last night has passed and now you no longer have to worry about a thing. Except the fact someone can open Celeste's door and…
Suddenly remembering what happened last night you grab your phone and then feel true fear.
One hundred messages from Celeste and five missed calls…
You are fucking dead.
Scrolling through the first few messages it was what you expected. Questioning her door was blocked, asking if you would speak with her when you woke up, and asking if you'd want to have breakfast with her.
Then the first call… After that Celeste spam messaged you a few times with just your name, then she tried to call you a second time, then she actually made her ire known after the twenty fifth message. Apparently you blocked her door too well as she couldn't open it.
Then the third call, after that, derisive insults due to you sleeping. The next thirty messages were just Celeste figuring out ways to be as rude as possible. The less said about the language and words used the better…
Then the fourth call, this one had a voice message of Celeste begging you to come unblock her door. About twelve minutes passed before the next message in which Celeste just spammed your name again and again. After the seventy sixth message Celeste tried to call you one last time.
Again she left a voice message. This time she made a threat about what she'd do to you if you didn't come to unblock her door in the next forty minutes.
She was very descriptive with said threat. Specifically about what she was going to do to your left leg. You were a bit disturbed if you were going to be honest.
You then check the time between that call and the next message…
Forty minutes, at that point you stopped reading further for Celeste's sake. As the further you read the less you want to actually unblock that door of hers…
But well, you reap what you sow and all that.
Walking up the steps to the fourth floor of the girl's dorms you notice that the floor isn't currently empty. You catch that Mukuro and Junko were talking with one another at the other end of the floor, giving them but a glance you turn around and walk to Celeste's dorm.
You then knock on the door and from the other side you hear a soft, "Akira?"
"Yeah, what's the problem? I just woke up." You ask, not really seeing how you can help from this side now that you're thinking about it.
"Well some moron blocked my door with a table and didn't lock the door, since I can't reach the lock I can't keep the doorknob still and remove the table, so thanks prick." Celeste snarled.
Wait a minute… You DID lock Celeste's door… At least that confirms it, someone has access to Celeste's dorm somehow.
However, you feign that knowledge for now, not wanting to draw attention to yourself with people on the same floor as you two, "I'll hold the knob for you."
"Whatever." Retorts Celeste. After a minute of some manual labor on the Ultimate Gambler's part, Celeste's dorm is finally open.
Standing in the now open doorway was Taeko Yasuhiro and her full fury wished to be released, but before she had the chance to go off on you…
You take hold of Celeste's hand you pull out her dorm, close the door behind her, and begin walking her off to your dorm. Though she wanted to protest Celeste instead quells her anger for the ever so slightest bit.
Instead she mutters under breath, "What are you doing?"
Now on the first floor you say, "Let's just get to my dorm before I say anything else."
It takes but a minute longer for you to be in the safety of your own dorm. Upon turning around after closing your door, Celeste slaps you. You shrug it off before saying, "I kind of deserved that…"
"Kind of?!" She exclaimed.
Crossing her arms Celeste begins to go off on a tirade, "You're lucky I don't have you put in a ditch for the stunt you pulled. Where in the hell do you get off Akira-?"
You were not here to listen to Celeste rant, "Celeste your dorm isn't safe."
That causes pause as Celeste's piercing glare softens. She then asks, "What do you mean?" Though she did a good job hiding it you could make out the slight quivering of her voice.
"Three times your door has been unlocked. Once when I came to visit, once when I left, and once again between then and now. I blocked your door because I feared someone had a way to unlock your dorm and it seems I was right. I just didn't think of you not being able to open up your own dorm and I apologize for that. But I did it out of fear." You say.
Celeste's posture slackens as she asks, "Why didn't you tell me last night? If you were that concerned you would've just brought me to your dorm."
"That was my fault entirely, I wanted to disrupt you as little as possible and confirm my suspicions though clearly I failed in that first part… And there was a safer less obtrusive way of achieving what I wanted. So, I again apologize." You say.
Shaking her head, Celeste then says, "Well I can't be too mad if you were just looking out for me in your own stupid way. At the very least explain to me _exactly_ what happened. Then maybe I'll consider your apologies accepted." Your girlfriend's expression turns playful along with her words.
"Of course." You reply with a soft smile.
"That's all I know…" You finish.
"Then why would they try to unlock my door a third time if they're after you?" Celeste asked.
You think it over for a moment but it does make sense, "I think they want to see me on edge…"
Taking a second to collect yourself you then say, "Celeste I know this is going to be obnoxious for you… But for the next while could you stay on the school premises."
Celeste raises a brow wondering where you were going with this. Well you aren't one to keep a lady waiting, usually, "If you're not surrounded by other students please just find a group to stick with or head back to my dorm. I'll give you my spare key so you can get in whenever."
"Why would anyone be interested in you anyway? What could you possibly have done to get someone to try to go after you? You didn't get into any mischief without me did you?" Celeste questioned with a raised brow, hiding her mouth behind her right hand.
You shake your head as you then say aloud, "No. I have no idea why they're going after me."
Thinking for a moment you let your unfiltered thoughts out as you say, "As I said, despite what the symbol suggests I doubt it's the school. Besides, it would be ridiculous for the school to go to these kinds of lengths over something like the registry. So even if I don't know why, it has to be someone from the school-."
"Because whoever opened the door ran off to the left, so it would have to be a girl from one of those dorms." Celeste interrupts.
You then realize something important which causes you to refute what was just said, "Not necessarily. It could simply be someone is working with someone who fits those requirements. For all we know it could be a male student or someone who isn't a student at all who has access to your dorm."
Celeste then agrees to your earlier demand, "Well… If you're so worried about it, then I'll abide by your request."
After a moment of pause Celeste lowers her hand as an evil smirk is shown matching her vile tone, "However, Akira, I expect you to deal with this swiftly. Not because you have to…"
She pauses for a moment causing you to stare at her in confusion before she continued with, "Well not in that sense anyway. Rather, because you won't rest until whoever decided to mess with us… Thoroughly regrets it…"
Raising your arms in a what can you do pose you say, "Why of course! They stressed me out and are threatening my precious Celeste. The least they deserve is a firm thorn in their side."
Chuckling to yourselves the plan has been made.
Whoever's messing with you will regret it.
Exiting your dorm with Celeste in tow, the two of you made your way down to the ground floor of the dorms. Celeste had suggested the two of you head to the lounge for now, intending on reading for a bit. You were willing to go with her as you had to look at a few things yourself, and the calm lounge would be the perfect place for you to focus on research.
If only people had any respect for what would be known as an inside voice. Then this would've been a glorious decision.
But clearly the world despised you… Which was fair, but still! The fuck is this!
Both you and Celeste leer from the back of the lounge as a particularly annoying guy yells out from the center of the room, "Now behold my Four Dark Devas of Destruction! San-D! Jum-P! Maga-Z! Cham-P! Go forth and entertain our guests with your incredible power!"
A group of individuals were using the two pairs of circular couches at the center of the lounge to talk with one another. The group of eight seemed all familiar with one another, but there was one in particular who was making your decision to use the lounge null.
Obviously you meant the guy who just decided to shout like a maniac.
You only recognized a few of the people from the group, with those being Ibuki, Chiaki, and Mikan. The other four were all completely foreign individuals to you and with how loud most of them were being? You'd like to keep it that way. Especially that maniac with the scarf…
Also you just notice, but you had to point it out, are those hamsters? Aren't pets not allowed or whatever?
You aren't given much time to think about it as Celeste groans out, "This was a terrible idea…" Leaning back in the lounge chair your partner in crime closes her light novel, clearly no longer in a mood to read. She just stares into the ceiling with a blank expression
Placing your tablet down on the desk in between your two chairs you sigh to yourself as you make what could only be a poor decision. You get up and begin making your way to the group.
While the guy who suddenly started screaming about destruction or whatever is what got you to get up, the entire group was being a nuisance. The straw that broke the camel's back and all that.
So upon approaching the group you notice they appear to be playing some sort of board game, but you pay such a detail no mind as you raise your hand and say, "Hey there. Could I ask you all to quiet down?"
There was a silent pause as all eight of your fellow students just stared at you, at least Ibuki greeted you, "Hey, Akira! Want to join us in the great battle for all of Peko's property?" You appreciate the offer and all, but she appeared to not hear what you even said.
After a moment of staring into each other's eye she then jumped as her eyes screamed of realization. Ibuki then said, "Oh wait nevermind! We have a full group of eight… But you can watch us if you'd like!" Is there any hope for this girl?
"Sorry if we've bothered you." Chiaki muttered, though you barely caught what she said with how quiet she was.
"No, no! It's entirely fine me and my friend were just reading and all the noise was a distraction." You explain.
The crazy guy who was yelling earlier then states, "In this grand game to conquer the red-eyed demon's lands we seem to have forgotten there are those who wish to not be disturbed. My apologies." You'll only accept it if he actually stops shouting… And those are hamsters! What the fuck!
A blonde girl in a humble yet elegant dress that was sitting next to the crazy guy follows along as she says, "Indeed! Our apologies for having disturbed you! We shall endeavor to play our game of monopoly far quieter!" What's with the energy?
The guy on the other side of the blonde girl then whispers under his breath, "Miss Sonia's so kind!" Are those stars in his eyes? Also what's with the hair and the teeth? If he's trying to look cool the yellow jumper does not help.
A rather 'gifted' girl gets up from the couch and loudly declares, "Why should we care about being quiet? Coach would want me to be loud and proud as I win!"
The pink haired guy then breaks out of his stupor as he states, "But Akane… You're losing…"
The now named Akane then exclaims, "Huh what do you mean I'm losing?"
With a powerful facepalm the guy mutters, "You don't have any property. Peko, Chiaki, and Mikan are the only ones with an entire set… But you're the only one with no property at all, you have no way of producing money… You're probably going to lose on your next turn, and you're telling me you didn't even notice?"
The busty Ultimate looks distraught at the information as instead of attempting to make excuses, she just sits back down and places her head in her hands. She seemed to not be the brightest individual.
The gray haired girl that was sitting next to Chiaki made her best attempt at comforting the upset Akane, "If it makes you feel any better, you lasted surprisingly long having no property. If I understand the rules properly from what Ibuki explained, it's actually impressive you haven't lost yet."
The gray haired girl was an interesting specimen with her almost silver colored hair, red eyes, and strange wrapped up object sitting next to her leg. She seemed to be a stoic individual or perhaps just a bit dense, maybe even both?
Ibuki then shouted in response, "Yeppers!"
The girl's words didn't really help Akane all that much and only seemed to aggravate the pink haired guy as he then shouted, "Oh shut it Peko! You said you've never played this game before but you're winning! You have the entirety of red and orange! I only have Pacific Avenue! I'm gonna lose not long after Akane!"
The rather pathetic guy follows Akane lead and despairs at his eventual loss.
Meanwhile Peko, you think that's her actual name and not a nickname, just tilted her head in confusion. Seems she wasn't exactly aware of how she was doing so well.
Mikan, who had not spoken for the entire interaction, finally found room to speak as she stuttered out, "I-If you w-want, you can take m-my place A-Akira…"
You wave off her suggestion as you then say, "Oh no, I wasn't interested in joining you all. As I said I was just hoping you all could quiet down a bit." Mikan seemed a bit upset at the statement but didn't say anything else.
It was Chiaki who would speak next as she spoke with a soft smile, "I'll do my best to keep them in line, again, sorry for bothering you."
You nod only to turn around and see Celeste standing a few feet away from you. She seemed interested in what the group were doing now… Goddammit Celeste why do you have to be so fickle!
Staring at Celeste for only a few moments longer you sigh to yourself before turning back around to the group and saying, "Hey Mikan, I changed my mind, I'll take you up on that offer." Though you couldn't hear it, you know that Celeste was laughing to herself.
Mikan stood up immediately with an excited expression as she said, "O-Of c-course Akira! Eek-!"
The Ultimate Nurse then immediately tripped over herself and fell in such a way in which Ibuki's wired headphones that were sitting next to her were now tied around her arms. Her butt was now firmly up in the air as soon as Mikan's face smashed against the ground with a loud smack.
Almost everyone gave her a 'really' look at the 'clumsy' girl's newest accident.
Honestly, how in the hell did she do that? While most of the people there were concerned about Mikan there was one notable exception as Ibuki yelled out, "Ah! My phone! How is Ibuki supposed to take a picture of Mikan when it's tied around her wrists!" You are actually impressed at the boldness.
Chiaki and the blonde girl were quick to untie Mikan and help her to her feet, Mikan was crying audibly as she tried and failed to keep the tears from pooling down her face, "I'm sorry~! I'm such a klutz and a bother, forgive me~!"
You do your best to help by saying, "Mikan, calm down, it was just an accident. Anyone could tell."
That seemed to cheer her up a bit as her bawling quieted and you could see a spark of joy within her eyes. Though apparently your words weren't as true as you thought as the pink-haired guy says, "You sure about that? There's being clumsy then there's being Mikan."
You glared at him with a side-eye and that appeared to be enough to get him to shut up as you took Mikan's place next to Ibuki.
You had expected Celeste to follow close behind only to find Mikan sitting on her knees in the spot next to you, still rubbing the tears out of her eyes. Celeste looked at her in annoyance and seemed moments away from snapping at the Ultimate Nurse…
"Uh Mikan… Could you perhaps make room for Celeste?" You asked politely and for a second Mikan seemed like she didn't want to. Then she got off the couch and kneeled next to your legs instead, she was now in front of Ibuki…
Well you guess that works, though Celeste doesn't seem particularly happy.
You could already guess what she was thinking, something along the lines of 'what a hussy'. Though you aren't gonna get mad at her over it, as it's sweet that Celeste is so possessive of you.
With all that sorted out you decide to introduce yourself to the new people, "It's a joy to play with all of you, I'm Akira Furuya the Ultimate Psychologist."
Celeste follows suit, "You may call me Celestia Ludenberg or Celeste, you may know me as the Ultimate Gambler."
The blonde girl on the opposite couch slaps her hands together, "Ludenberg? The name is awfully European, you wouldn't happen to be another foreigner?"
Celeste hides her mouth behind her hands as she chuckles and says, "Not exactly. I was born here in Japan though my father was a French banker and my mother came from a German family of musicians. They married here in Tokyo and eventually moved to live here before having me as their child."
You're glad at the very least she changed the French Noble part of the lie. Still though… Anyone familiar with Taeko Yasuhiro, oh sorry, 'Celestia Ludenberg's' past would easily figure out that it was a bold faced lie.
But everyone here just ate it up.
"Oh fascinating! Even if you weren't born in Europe I'm glad to meet someone who could be considered an outsider like myself." Excitedly spoke the blonde girl.
"Oh?" Questioned Celeste.
Standing up before doing a pose the foreign student then said, "I am Sonia Nevermind and I was granted the title of Ultimate Princess. I come from my home country of Novoselic, a small European monarchy. I am glad to meet both you and Akira, Celestia!" A princess?
Like an actual honest to god heir to a monarchy?
Well now you've seen everything. Celeste's eyes sparkled at the revelation and you could already tell Celeste should end up being good friends with this Sonia character.
After Sonia's introduction the pathetic guy of the group attempted an introduction, "Alright since Miss Sonia introduced herself! I'm Kazuichi Souda, the Ultimate Mechanic!" In his excitement he almost didn't notice nobody was paying attention.
As everyone was too focused on the other introduction that was occurring at the same time, "Since you are brave enough to pursue the nature of my identity I shall give you the name I go by within this doomed world. Never forget my next words, as they shall be the ones you remember once I stand atop this world as its savior and tyrant! For I am Gundham Tanaka, and with this simple board game my empire begins!"
What an eccentric individual… Honestly he was so cringe-inducing that he looped around to be actually somewhat cool. An interesting phenomena. You'll have to spare some time looking into him, he seemed fun, if juvenile and crazy.
Upon finishing with your thoughts you hear Souda yell out, "Hey you're stealing my thunder!" He didn't seem fond of being overshadowed.
"That would imply you have any thunder to steal Kazuichi." Gundham simply replied. Souda looked mortified at the response.
"Ah yeah! That kind of energy's got me all fired up! Name's Akane Owari, Ultimate Gymnast! Though I prefer fighting the coach and other people with enough strength to make me try than gymnastics personally!" Said the busty Gymnast.
The girl whose name you believed to be Peko introduced herself next as, "I am Peko Pekoyama, I was invited to Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Swordswoman. It is nice to meet some of our underclassmen." What a strange name for a swordswoman.
You nod at each and every introduction except two, as both you and Celeste knew Mikan and Ibuki so you didn't pay much attention to their introductions. However, you did not remember if Celeste and Chiaki met, so you listened intently as the surprisingly morose girl stayed silent with all the attention mow on her.
"Um… I'm Chiaki Nanami… Ultimate Gamer I guess…" She scratched at her cheek, though her face didn't show any exact emotion you could tell she was a bit embarrassed with all the attention.
"So Monopoly eh? What piece was Mikan?" You ask.
Chiaki was quick to respond as she explained, "Mikan was the iron. She owned Boardwalk and Park Place, as well as Pennsylvania Avenue."
Both blue properties? You might as well have already won, ha!
You honestly expected the game to be boring since you were taking over for Mikan halfway as regardless of her favorable position… It's still just a board game. One notorious for ruining friendships, but a board game nonetheless.
Yet it was still hilarious how on the first turn after your addition into the game that Akane landed on your property and promptly went bankrupt. She screamed in defiance at the immediate bad luck, "What the fuck do you mean I lost! I can still fight! Just watch me!"
With slitted eyes you watched in amusement as the busty gymnast resisted giving up her last bit of money despite just losing. After some consoling from Sonia, berating from Souda, and with Chiaki slipping the 100 out of her hands Akane had been forced to give up.
"Damn it! How am I supposed to tell Coach I lost?" Akane lamented, slumping onto her seat. Her eyes were vacant, similar to that of a person who had just watched a loved one die. Yet you can't help but point out that one was glaringly more serious than the other.
"It's just a board game Akane, seriously, there's no point being so invested in winning." Souda waved off as he rolled then landed on a community chest. The card that he got allowed him to collect 200 and as soon as he looked at the card he got really excited as it seemed his loss was ever so further away.
Akane glared at the Mechanic as he immediately proved that he wasn't sticking to his own word. Though she didn't make a big deal about it as she instead decided to get comfortable and watch the game unfold. Even if she didn't entirely follow along…
With that issue dealt with you realized that this was going to be fun no matter what happened!
The rest of the turn passed with nothing of note happening, Ibuki made small talk with Celeste but you didn't really listen to their conversation. Rather you focused on your potential moves planning out what to do in case your move or another player's move screwed you over. Not that you were worried.
Monopoly is two thirds a game of luck and one thirds a game of good decision making. You can handle the latter and with Celeste most certainly on your side she could handle the former as a good luck charm of sorts.
Being so deep in thought you almost missed the fact it was your turn, thankfully Mikan was there to tap on you and let you know… As Celeste was too busy chatting it up with Ibuki and Sonia to pay attention…
Upon rolling a three, you landed on a Chance space. Pulling out the card you smile maniacally as you read 'Advance to Go'. You happily did just that and collected an additional 200.
You won't lie, you were reveling in how easy this game was gonna be. Rarely does anything come easy, so when it does you have to enjoy it with all your being. Still, perhaps you should be a bit more focused on what's happening around you rather than what's going on in your own head.
As that would've stopped you from flinching at Souda's not-so-sudden scream of, "Nooooooooooo!"
He had just landed on Boardwalk. Not only did he have to pay a luxury tax which would cost him half of what he just earned on his last turn, he'd just landed on a space he could not afford to. You couldn't help but point out that the second you joined two players went out one after another to your own property.
It was sheer dumb luck but still funny.
You couldn't stop yourself from chuckling at the absurdity of it all! That seemed to cause Souda grievance as he then yelled, "Stop laughing! Why in the hell did this game give me hope only to snatch it away immediately!" That caused you to laugh even louder as you busted out into a full guffaw.
Ibuki and Akane were laughing with you while most of everyone else paid him no real mind. Akane then added fuel onto Souda's fire of patheticness by saying, "What's wrong Souda? Why were you so invested in winning!" Though you won't lie, it was a bit childish with how she went about it.
He immediately snapped back, "I wasn't focused on winning at all! I was purely focused on not losing!" Those are pretty much the same thing, but you understood what he was getting at.
Akane paid his words no mind as with a cheeky smirk she says, "Sounds like loser talk to me."
Slumping in defeat, Kazuichi Souda had been taken out of the game in seventh place. 'At least he didn't get last' would be the epitome of his time in monopoly.
With two of the eight players out of the game you found yourself in an even more advantageous position than when Mikan offered to let you play in her stead! 450 bucks richer and with Pacific Avenue under your grasp all you needed to do to get a second property set was take North Carolina Avenue from Tanaka.
Though that would be difficult. Considering his personality you doubt there's anything you could do to convince him to give it to you and having a third person landing on your property then losing… Yeah statistics are not in your favor for that one.
The next few turns passed by and the cash had moved around a bit. Chiaki, who had before been the richest, was now overtaken by Peko as everyone kept landing on her properties… Not much anyone could do as she held an entire corner of the board.
Some small talk was passed by everyone and you did learn a few details. Such as the fact that everyone, with you and Celeste as obvious exceptions, were of the same class. You easily made that assumption to begin with, but the confirmation was nice.
And even it wasn't said outright you could tell that Tanaka, Souda, and Nevermind were a love triangle. With both boys being interested in the princess and the princess only having eyes for Tanaka…
Which just made Souda's patheticness even more hilarious to you.
The last detail was why Peko and Mikan were playing the game to begin with. Apparently Peko sustained an injury to her back and had to be treated by Mikan. Peko was relatively fine, but it was hard for her to walk at times so Mikan was helping her until the school could spare some crutches.
Because somehow a school like Hope's Peak runs out of them… You don't even want to know really.
They had been in the lounge while the group of Chiaki, Nevermind, Gundham, and Souda had begun planning out playing a game of monopoly with Ibuki heading the idea. Ibuki then proceeded to bully Mikan into joining, and since Peko needed help with walking at the moment, she was kind of forced to join as well.
As for Akane, you have no idea but even you can make the assumption that she just butted in.
That's just the summary, but still it left you with a few questions. So as Sonia took her turn you asked Peko, "You said you were relatively fine, but you still require help walking? Sounds like a pretty bad injury to me."
Peko nods before responding with, "That is just what Mikan told me, it does hurt when I stand but I haven't had that much of an issue walking. Though if Mikan says I should take it easy for a while to prevent serious injury, then so be it. As she is an expert, and I am not, I took her advice to heart."
It was good that she was listening to Mikan in regards to her health and all. But you honestly wouldn't have assumed there was anything wrong with Peko until she brought it up. Guess Mikan is the Ultimate Nurse for a reason, but as Psychologist you've often had to take note of when your patients are in pain or concerned about something.
So either Peko is so certain she is in good hands that she isn't worried, or she's just that stoic that you can't even read her. There is also the possibility that perhaps Mikan lied about the diagnosis but that seems a little out of left field. You'll just have to assume the former, and prepare for the latter, not being able to read people could be dangerous for you.
But if it is the case, then you are excited. Peko screams danger to you in a way almost foreign to you. It was that gnawing feeling one feels when they stand at the edge of a cliff and their brain screams at them to jump. The call of the void is a dangerous thing.
You were taken out of your thoughts as you heard the Ultimate Princess then ask, "Gundham?"
"Hm?" Was his quiet response.
Sonia then puts her left hand out in a strange pose as she then says, "I'll sell my property of Marvin Gardens to you, if you'll accept such a proposition." Huh? What kind of move was this… Oh you gotta be fucking kidding-!
Nodding shortly after some consideration Gundham then says, "I shall accept such patronage as tribute to my grand empire! With this I shall now own all of the yellow properties meaning that I shall be able to contend with the red- eyed demon and the yellow devil! Conquest is at hand!"
Did he just call you the yellow devil? Because you're wearing yellow? Kind of stupid but sure, you'll take it.
Though isn't he forgetting Chiaki? She's still in the game…
Actually now that you think about it, he probably considers her as a bigger threat than either you or Peko.
Fair. She is the Ultimate Gamer, and even if this isn't her usual forte as you'd assume. She's probably still quite good at it.
Guess that means you now know who should be taking out first… But that may leave you open to Peko, or Gundham now that he has a full set of property.
Damn you Nevermind for suddenly doing something so detrimental.
Nevermind would quite likely be out of the game in a few more turns, but by selling her property to Gundham she gained a buffer in cash. She couldn't stand to land on Peko's properties even with the buffer as she still had to pass Illinois and Indiana Avenue. Because her true plan was obvious at this point.
For whatever reason the Ultimate Princess was going to sacrifice all she had to Tanaka.
You assume they had planned beforehand whoever would be in a winning position would eat up the loser's gains and try to win from there… But… No, you're overthinking it.
Sonia likely realized she wasn't going to win and therefore tried to give Tanaka a better chance at victory. That makes far more sense for the personalities they've shown. As they don't seem like the scheming types.
Either way it's bad for you. It would be better if you could've taken out Tanaka and eat up his properties, but if Sonia's plan works that'll be impossible. If it doesn't, and Tanaka falls to you, you'll be two property sets richer.
Far too many if's for your liking.
So for now you're directing your attention to getting Ibuki out of the game. Not like she did anything wrong but you don't want Chiaki to have a full second set of property. So it became pretty awkward as Ibuki then asked, "Whatcha thinking in that noggin of yours Akira?"
"Nothing you'd need to worry about." You say menacingly.
Ibuki laughs before saying, "Well Ibuki hopes so!"
Operation 'Get rid of Ibuki' is a go.
Not that plans can really be executed in a game of luck, but you have your good luck charm by your side. If only… If only she wasn't a dirty, dirty, asshole.
As Sonia's turn comes around she rolls a four and lands on the first of Tanaka's property. She seemed pleased and Tanaka didn't say anything upon her landing on the spot. Only for Peko to point out, "Sonia? You're a turn away from losing yet you seem happy? Could I ask why?"
Celeste stops her conversation with Ibuki to interject with, "Isn't it obvious? She'd rather lose to Tanaka. Not only did she already sell one of her properties to him, but now he'll make his money back and gain a brown property. Even if the latter isn't that useful. I just don't understand why she didn't surrender her belongings to Tanaka and quit."
Can she do that?
"I could do that?" Sonia asked.
"I don't believe it's a traditional rule by any means, but considering you all let Akira take over for Mikan, there is no reason you couldn't." Celeste explained.
You glare at Celeste with the power of a thousand suns. She smirks, the fucking minx.
"Ah! Could I do that? Chiaki? Ibuki?" Sonia asked for permission.
Chiaki nodded while Ibuki threw out a thumbs as she yelled out, "Go right ahead!"
"Alright. Then I concede to Gundham!" Is Sonia's response.
Gundham nodded at the decision before going on another loud spiel, "Very well. I shall take the Dark Queen's fortune and use it to pursue my own ends. For I, Gundham Tanaka, shall be the victor of this game of monopolization!" Does he always put that much vigor into what he says and does?
Then it was Ibuki's turn, and unfortunately for her, she landed on Park Place. Immediately Ibuki's face went pale and she began tugging on the neck of her shirt. She lost basically half of her cash immediately and if she were to land on Boardwalk, which you were certain she would, she'd be out next.
Another victim for your collection.
Unfortunately you forgot that Ibuki wasn't an idiot, and that she was just weird. With a sigh Ibuki returns to her usual attitude as she then exclaims, "I'll concede to Chiaki then!"
WHY_
Everyone stared at her like she just grew a second head.
While you glared at Celeste for giving them the idea that being able to concede should be a rule. Seriously, why does she make your life harder for no reason?
Souda then shouted exactly what you were thinking, "Ibuki… What the fuck!" Though you would've directed it to Celeste instead if you could.
It was pretty obvious to you that Ibuki didn't want you to win, but was just unlucky with her rolls. She most likely wanted to win but was fine if a good friend of hers, which you'll assume she and Chiaki are, did. So she conceded while she still could.
Still if there is anything you should take away from this… Is that you're going to fuck Celeste's ass raw the second you can.
So now Chiaki had two sets of property and was directly competing with Peko.
Meanwhile, you had Boardwalk.
You can still win this.
Turn after turn went by. Anytime anyone would land on another person's property the other person would also land on theirs. It was a vicious cycle where the only one seeming to lose any ground was Gundham. Your luck had helped you completely avoid both Chiaki's and Peko's spaces for the past four turns, Gundham did not fare as well.
Then finally the death knell of the Tanaka Empire rang out.
Tanaka landed on Boardwalk. A shadow cast over Gundham's face as he realized he just lost. Yet with grace he says, "Seems I failed to deliver. My apologies Sonia."
Sonia smiled at her friend apologetically as she said, "You did a fine job Gundham."
With Gundham's property taken, you now had three sets of property. Even if Peko had the strongest combination of property sets with orange and red. The sheer quantity of what you had could overwhelm them.
And overwhelm Peko it did…
The game did not last much longer, for three turns in a row Peko landed on your properties and went bankrupt. She was as silent in defeat as she was while playing.
Meaning it was just you and Chiaki, or would've been if she hadn't said, "I concede."
"Hmm?" You ask.
"No point. With so many properties I couldn't win even if I tried." She simply stated.
"Ah, well it was fun." You acquiesce.
"Indeed." Tanaka and Sonia say at the exact same time. Souda says nothing, just staring at the two a little disappointed.
Ibuki's brain finally catches up to what just happened as she shouts, "Woah, woah, woah! Akira beat Chiaki? Ibuki didn't even think anyone could beat her!"
"A little slow on the uptake? My boyfriend is simply that good." Celeste says, hiding half of her face behind her right hand.
"Akira has to be pretty great if he can beat Chiaki!" Shouts out Ibuki.
Chiaki scratches at her cheek, an apparent blush on her face as she was clearly embarrassed. She then says, "Ibuki… I think you may be overestimating me… Though it has been a while since I've lost a game. So thanks for the fun time Akira."
"No problem." You say quietly, having lost concern with what was going on as you just noticed Akane had fallen asleep at some point.
She was just there slumped on the couch with one of her arms wrapped around Souda. It must've been a while ago as you would think he would make a fuss if he was touched by her.
Peko decided to ask, "Um… You two are… Together?"
The usually stoic Peko finally showed some other emotion on her face. Even when she lost, all she did was shut her eyes for a moment before nodding. So the fact that she was blushing like a schoolgirl, and to be fair she was, over such a thing was rather funny.
"He's my one and only." Celeste says smugly.
"How romantic!" Exclaimed Sonia.
You let her handle the conversation from that point on as you checked the time. Wouldn't be long till 'class', and it would probably be in your best interest to go do that other thing you had planned before then…
However…
Celeste seems rather engaged with talking with this group. Should you really leave her here and handle it yourself?
For once in your life your sense of direction did not fail you as you entered the Ultimate Pharmacist's lab. Seiko was thankfully actually here, though she seemed far too focused on whatever she was doing for her to even notice you.
Making a new drug perhaps? It's probably something far more benign but you can't help but speculate.
Walking up to the focused girl you ask her, "Whatcha doing?" No response… Was that too casual?
While she didn't initially respond, after a few seconds Seiko says, "Cleaning utensils, very busy."
The response was automatic, and clinical in its tone. She likely didn't even notice it was you who asked the question, just that a question was asked. Seiko Kimura must be really dedicated to her craft, it's rather inspiring.
However, you need to talk with her, and you really don't care what she's doing right now. What you need her for is far, far more important. Especially in comparison to cleaning some equipment.
But how to get her attention?
Shaking your head at Seiko's inattentiveness you reach for her head. Placing your hand softly down on the top of the Ultimate Pharmacist's head you become bemused as you watch Seiko become even more focused on her work. Despite the fact your hand was pressing against her cranium.
You chuckle, in spite of the strangeness, and just commit to patting the girl's head.
She was like a child, so absorbed in playing with her toys…
Probably not the most accurate description considering what she's doing is at the very least somewhat important. That's your assumption anyway... Cleaning equipment would be important for any form of science, right?
Not that you have equipment in your work outside of a pencil, notebook, and a laptop. But that's neither here nor there.
What's important is that it seems Seiko needs some further encouragement.
Fuck it.
"Eep!" Seiko squeals as you roughly cup her right butt cheek. Seiko completely froze up, only turning her head to look at you fearfully as realization begins to set in.
Hmmm… Upon taking proper time to grope her buttocks you find yourself enjoying it more than you thought you would…
You'll need to appreciate her ass more, as it's quite shapely and it fits in your hand very nicely. Honestly it might be even better than Celeste's! Though you would never state something so heretical out loud...
With those thoughts purged from your mind you change your focus to massaging Seiko's fine booty.
Kneeling down you cup her other cheek with your left hand and grip two handfuls of Seiko ass with fervor. The Ultimate Pharmacist looks at you confused and embarrassed as she questions you with an atomic blush on her face, "W-W-W-What a-are y-you d-doing?"
"Appreciating your derriere." You say matter of factly as you continue to rub both of her cheeks.
"W-What?" She questions confused, her embarrassment subsiding for a moment.
You let go of her rear and stand up to face the silver-haired pharmacist then elaborating with, "I'm enjoying your ass. Your amazing backside. Your great rear end. That fine posterior of yours."
Seiko begins steaming as she shouts, "I know what you meant! I-I'm asking why!"
"Because I like it?" You state as if it was the simplest thing in the world.
Seiko stays silent for a moment as her brain takes a moment to refresh. Shaking her head Seiko staves off embarrassment for a few seconds to ask, "Could… C-Could y-you not? I-I'm busy with o-other things."
"What? Can't spare time for me Seiko?" You respond immediately with a cheeky retort.
Seiko begins to fiddle with her hands as it's clear she's getting incredibly uncomfortable. What you should've expected even with what happened last time you two 'spoke'. Even with how you used your blessing on her wasn't going to change what she is and is not comfortable with.
Though you guess at the very least she isn't trying to scream bloody murder after you molested her!
Regardless you should probably try to ease the tension… Or you could just get to the point of why you're here instead of pushing it off.
Probably best to ease into it, while Seiko might not seem like it, she may be a volatile personality. Considering her shyness and constant stuttering that only Mikan could compare to… Well you wouldn't be surprised if the two medical professionals had more in common than the stutter and timidness.
So with a soft voice you say, "C'mon give me just a few seconds of your time. I'm more than just an appreciator of women after all, I'm a psychologist as well."
Seiko scratches the side of her covered cheek as she says, "F-For just a moment then. I-I really need to clean my utensils or I w-won't have time to test… Um… N-Nevermind. It's not that important."
"You can't entice me like that and not tell me what you're working on!" You say with pep.
"It's just a new drug, it's really nothing special. I just want to finish preliminary testing before this afternoon is all…" Seiko elaborated without a stutter abound.
Nodding to yourself you say, "Mhm, sure. What do you plan on having it do?"
Seiko begins fiddling with her fingers again as she says, "I really shouldn't say. There isn't really a point if there isn't even a guarantee it will work…"
Those were the wrong choice of words Seiko. You nod and say, "Just sate my curiosity, if there's no point in me knowing then there's nothing wrong with me knowing." Seiko had walked herself into a corner as her eyes widened, she takes a moment to think but seems unable to come up with anything.
"F-Fine it's a… It's a steroid." The Ultimate Pharmacist hastily says with no elaboration.
Give it a minute.
"And?" You ask.
"And?" Seiko asks with a tilt of the head.
Shaking your head you then ask, "What kind of steroid?"
"I cannot elaborate." She says succinctly, clearly not willing to give on this matter.
Bringing up your hands you say, "Oh well. Guess I'll have to stay terminally curious." Your words cause Seiko to twitch and for a moment it looked like she was going to spill on what it did. Only to shut her jaw and not say a word.
A shame, but now… It's time to get what you came for, "So Seiko I did actually come here for a reason as I needed to ask you something?"
Raising her right brow in a questioning look as she takes a cautionary step back and asks, "You did?"
Nodding you raise your hand up, showing how little distance there was between you two, as you linger in the silence. You then say, "I just wanted to be certain you'd be willing to supply more of your drugs to me."
Blushing like a madwoman Seiko loudly asks, "Y-Y-You al-already used all of the b-birth c-control? I-It hasn't… Oh god… P-Perhaps you need some libido control medication if you went through that many pills-!"
Laughing hysterically you interrupt her with, "No! No! That's not what I meant, haha!"
"Huh? Then what are you referring to?" She asked, suddenly very skeptical.
"I want more than just birth control Seiko." You explain.
Seiko's head droops as she looks at you with barely hidden disdain as she explains in turn, "I was willing to bend on the birth control. However, any more would seriously be illegal. I can't-."
Walking up to Seiko and grabbing her shoulder before pushing your two bodies into one another, you then say, "Just hear me out."
Seiko barely resisted, just the slightest of motions away from you before giving up. Sighing to herself, "I-I-I'll… Listen…"
"Good. Now I want your full services, you won't have to worry about me asking for poisons or anything. Though I'm certain I'll be asking you for stuff such as aphrodisiacs, powerful sleeping pills, and more soon enough." Is what you told her before letting her go.
Seiko thinks it over as she then explains, "I can maybe get you the aphrodisiacs and sleeping pills… But why do you need them? Are you having libido issues and difficulty sleep-… -ing… Akira, please tell me this is for recreational use." Fear filled her voice.
With a straight face and a painfully pleasant grin, you choose your next action within seconds.
Your face screams of startling realization before being filled with mirth as you then say, "Naughty Seiko! What a dirty mind you have to suddenly go to such dark things… It almost makes me think you want it to happen to you instead…"
Her eyes widen in fear as she immediately attempts to deny such claims, "T-That is not even c-close to the case! That i-is in i-incredibly poor t-tast-!"
"Oh calm down, if you're that worried you may tempt me into using those aphrodisiacs I wanted on you~!." You state, with a malicious grin.
Seiko takes a step back, finding herself knocking into a table as she warily says, "That… T-That isn't funny…"
"Oh Seiko, you're a smart girl. You already know I'm not joking." You speak with baleful undertones.
Her hands looked for anything that could defend herself, however she had previously cleaned up that table as she had with the majority of her lab. She would find nothing of assistance. Walking forward you grip Seiko's shoulder as she mutters under her breath, "I-I'll... Scream… I'll scream!"
Your brow raises in questioning as you say, "This song and dance all over again huh? Let's just cut to the chase then." You begin unbuttoning her jacket and shirt, revealing her bra covered breasts.
"No you won't." You whisper into Seiko's right ear as you lower her bra and begin groping her now naked breasts.
"Why won't I…" She asks terrified. Yet she was not terrified of you, but the fact she couldn't bring herself to scream for help.
"Because I was right Seiko, wasn't I?" With those last words into Seiko's ear you partake in the shiver of anticipation that goes through both of your bodies.
"That c-can't be true…" Seiko whispered to herself as she did nothing to resist as you pulled down her pants and undergarments, revealing her most precious place. As Seiko continued to stand there in complete shock you began thrusting your fingers into her snatch.
The Ultimate Pharmacist lets out an uncomfortable groan at the contact, and yet her body refuses to stop you. "It feels good doesn't it?" You teased as you began speeding up your thrusts.
"I… I-I f-feel violated…" Seiko gets out in between breaths and gasps.
Chuckling at the obvious observation you stated, "Well yes, I am violating you. It would stand to reason that such feelings would occur."
With your free hand you pull Seiko into an embrace as you begin to slow down on fingering her, you then say, "But it's okay. I know how you really feel."
The Pharmacists face twisted in disgust as she then attempted to scorn you with her words, "How could you possibly…" Only for her body to flinch as her back suddenly arched back, in her attempt to make her now hatred known for you, she came.
You attempt to hide your disappointment with mocking words, "Already? Tut tut, Seiko. I want this to last. So don't go conking yourself out so quickly."
With a malicious grin you unzip your pants and pull out your erect member. Despite the daze the masked girl was in you could see her eyes suddenly regain focus as she stares at your dick. "How is that going to fit?" You hear her mutter under her breath.
Leaning in and pushing the head of your cock against Seiko's pussy you then say, "Oh? Don't you remember Seiko?"
You let a pause of silence take shape before finishing with, "I made it fit like this!" Forcing yourself all the way in you watch in amusement as Seiko's back reflexively arches all the way back onto the table. She practically fell over herself taking your dick.
Silently screaming to herself Seiko begins to hyperventilate as she says, "It hurts… It's too big… Too much… I'm going to die…"
Annoyed with Seiko's constant complaining, you then command, "Calm yourself, drama queen. You've already taken it once before so stop acting like it's some sort of undertaking."
Yet Seiko ignored you as she continued to repeat her last statement over and over again even as you began to fuck her, "I'm going to die… I'm going to die… I'm going to die… I'm going to die… I'm going to die… I'm going to-! HMPH!"
Completely done with her groaning you stop thrusting into her and take time to open one of the drawers from the table you were fucking Seiko into. You found some cleaning cloths, you then bundle them into a ball before bringing them up to the Pharmacist's mouth.
With the ball in hand you then pulled Seiko's mask down and forced the ball of cloths into her mouth. It barely fit but with you pulling back her mask to keep her from spitting the cloths out you had managed to silence her.
Yet despite your efforts Seiko began bringing up her arms to take off her mask, clearly intent on removing the makeshift gag. So you grabbed both her arms before pinning them with one hand on top of her stomach.
With the Ultimate Pharmacist restrained you smirk at the tears now pouring out of her eyes and say, "There we go. Perfect silence."
You shouldn't have said shit.
Seiko's body finally managed to build up enough willpower to resist as she began screaming her heart out into her gag. She was really making it difficult to fuck her and enjoy it… With a clearly annoyed face you grip her neck and say, "Quiet!"
A choked sob escapes Seiko's throat, but nothing more.
"If you had put that much resistance into getting fucked earlier maybe you wouldn't have my dick so deep in you. Yet it's too little to late, so just lay back and enjoy it Seiko. I know I will" You say as you begin to fuck her for real this time.
The current position you were fucking Seiko in was so lifeless that after just a few thrusts you immediately decided things needed to change. Slowing down a little bit, you take your left hand off of the restrained Pharmacist's neck and begin moving it towards her right leg. Coiling your hand under her knee you raise her right leg up making it far easier to fuck her.
With your right hand still holding her arms you force her hands onto the part of the table just a few inches away from the top of her head. "This position's a lot more fun, right Seiko?" You ask as the sound of flesh hitting flesh reverberates all over Seiko's lab.
All you get in response is an indecipherable groan.
"Glad you agree!" Is your response in turn.
You then stop fucking Seiko as you hear voices in the hall… They pass by, and so you continue a bit slower this time to ensure you're completely cognizant of your surroundings. However, the fact that you could be caught did not disincentivize you from raping Seiko, in fact it did the opposite.
The thrill emboldened you to new heights!
While you may have slowed down on your thrusts, it was not solely because you were trying to be cautious. Instead your thrusts were filled with much more purpose as each time you pounded Seiko's cunt was with the full force of your body behind it.
You could feel your face flush up, you were becoming legitimately aroused by the situation.
The danger of doing something so wrong, and being caught for it was exhilarating. You leaned towards Seiko's face and began whispering, "Some people just walked by. I wonder what they would've thought if they saw you like this… Would they pity you? Would they hate me? Or would they think something very different…"
Seiko didn't seem to get what you were saying as she stared into your eyes with noticeable confusion. You'll give her credit for remaining cognizant, honestly you thought she had completely lost consciousness with how unreactive she had been.
So with some annoyance you spelled out what you were trying to get at, "Would they think… 'How can she be such a slut?' 'She's letting herself get fucked like that at Hope's Peak?' 'What a waste of talent…'" Obviously anyone who would walk into this situation would know Seiko is a victim.
However, girls like Seiko have one great weakness that anyone can exploit.
Doubt.
Considering her current facial expression, she was feeling a lot of it. In fact she was probably thinking something along the lines of 'No, how could anyone see me and not believe that I'm being raped?' Yet doubt clings to the back of her mind, because in some sense the sex is clearly pleasurable considering her mounting blush…
But that alone would never be enough to have anyone think anything but the truth of the situation. Yet that is the horror of doubt, it'll make you write off what others think out of fear alone…
Even if it makes no logically consistent sense.
You'd almost feel bad about messing with Seiko like this… If fucking her wasn't some of the most fun you've had in the past few weeks. Sadly all good things must come to an end and you could feel yourself nearing climax.
So with one last mocking statement you ask, "Hey Seiko, we should really make sure those birth control pills of yours work don't you think?" The Pharmacist takes a second to catch onto what you were saying.
But the second she caught onto what you meant… Hoo boy… The struggle was on! You actually had to fight to keep her arms in your grasp. She even tried to push you off with her legs! Yet all that movement only served to have you reach climax faster as with a pleased sigh you began cumming into Seiko's womb.
As semen flooded her, Seiko stopped resisting, frozen in total shock.
You let go of the girl and pull out finally giving the Ultimate Pharmacist a break.
The first thing she did with her newfound freedom was fall onto the floor. The second was that she began curling up into a ball. Thirdly she removed the ball of cloth from her throat. Lastly she began tearing up.
She didn't let out any audible crying but you could hear her sniffling to herself as you zipped up your pants.
"Fun wasn't it?" You ask as you reach a hand out for Seiko only to find her smacking it away with her own.
"Don't touch me…" She hissed.
You didn't listen as you grabbed her arm and pulled her to her feet. You notice that Seiko hadn't taken the time to cover her face with her mask again as it laid on her neck rather than her face. In fact this was how you were made aware Seiko had braces, as she snarled at you with her teeth bare.
Before you could say anything else you hear a pair of figures approaching the lab. The only reason you knew they weren't going to walk past was because one of the two pairs of footsteps had an easily recognizable voice, "Seiko! I'm coming in!"
What terrible timing Ruruka…
With a disappointed expression you grabbed Seiko and made way for one of the closets. The Ultimate Pharmacist initially resisted but something in her clicked as she followed your unsaid instructions and got into the closet with you.
By the time Ruruka would open the door the lab would be empty.
Upon Ruruka entering the Ultimate Pharmacist's lab she was dumbfounded to find the place empty. The confectioner walked around the lab for a moment only to find nothing before exclaiming, "I can't believe it! The one time I seriously need her and she's not here? Whatever!"
She was completely unaware of the two figures hiding in the supplies closet that were listening to her.
Well, half-listening anyway. You were just too focused on fondling Seiko's body to really care about what was going on. It was rather funny how she stopped fighting back. As of now she was only clenching her eyes shut and occasionally letting out moans of discomfort when you massaged her more sensitive bits.
You then hear what sounds like stomping before petulant whining makes it to your ears, "C'mon Sonosuke we're leaving! Next time I see Seiko I'm giving her a piece of mind for sure!" The last thing you hear before the door of the lab slams close is the affirmative hum of a young man.
With them gone you began harassing Seiko with more than just your hands, "That was rather close wasn't it, Seiko? Your friend almost caught you in such a sorry state!"
She couldn't bring herself to say anything, instead she brought her hands to her face and began crying for real now. Yet the bawling girl in your arms did not deter you from harassing her. Not. One. Bit.
A Few Minutes Later
After exiting the closet you let Seiko redress and clean herself up. She stopped crying a minute ago but even after washing her face, she was still rather puffy faced from all the sobbing. She was entirely red faced and she couldn't stop herself from letting out the occasional whimper.
Meanwhile you watched all of this with a pleased expression.
Once she was finally done whimpering you asked, "Are you feeling more compliant now?"
Taking a step back Seiko flinches at your words before panickily asking, "If I give you what you want will you never touch me like that again?"
You glare at the demand but think it over…
"No." Is your response as you take a step forward.
Seiko wilts as her face pales in fear, clearly afraid you were going to continue to molest her. Only to be pleasantly surprised as you continued with, "But I'll give you a break for now. As long as you prove useful Seiko I'll treat you right. Obviously though…"
Grabbing her by her clothing and pulling her close you menacingly say, "If you go against me or if you are incapable of being useful well then I have better uses for you don't I?"
"I-I… I understand… L-Let me go…" She begged.
Acquiescing to her request you begin walking off as you wave your hand behind you saying, "Well then, see you later Seiko! We're partners in crime now! I expect good things from you, so don't disappoint."
"Why does this happen to me…" Seiko bemoaned as she was left alone in her lab, feeling the worst she's ever felt.
Narrative Gains
Seiko gained 15 Obedience!
Seiko gained 5 Lust!
Kyoko Kirigiri POV (Within her dorm)
Sitting at her desk within her room Kirigiri types away on her laptop, obviously she was continuing her investigation on the murder of Elfriede Bohm. She took note of the police's mention of a similar case several years ago which led her to turning her focus to the internet.
She had been spending the past while looking for cases similar to Bohm's and of course it wasn't difficult to find.
Three years ago a set of four murders happened across Tokyo called the Masked Victim Murders or more colloquially known as the La Morte Findings. La Morte apparently means death in Italian, and she can see more than a few similarities between the murders than what the police mentioned.
For one the first murder was that of a politician with a similar set of crimes that Bohm was accused of in the letter she found.
That politician's name was Hiroshi Nukari. The man was an influential member of the Japanese Communist Party for a few years, but always seemed to have scandal after scandal following his name.
Bribery, blackmailing party influencers including the party leader, and he was even accused of a kidnapping plot against said leader though the accusation held little weight. There was a crime he was accused of that had evidence brought up after his demise however, and that was pedophilia. He apparently 'started a relationship' with a boy half his age, and Hiroshi was thirty.
There wasn't much outcry over his death, and it's the least reported out of the four. However, that wasn't the only detail that stuck out to her. In fact there was plenty more.
Specifically the smaller details such as the fact that just like Bohm, Nukari was kidnapped before being murdered in an abandoned theater that was scheduled for demolition. She must point out that Nukari was not as well guarded as Bohm was.
Nukari was also found pinned to a cross with a piano and tengu mask found at the scene of the crime. Such a specific detail she almost felt as if she was reading the reports for Bohm, but she knew for a fact that they hadn't been released yet.
There was also the foreign writing found by the corpse though it was written on the wall, framing Nukari's body according to the police. The same phrase, 'Il giudizio viene emesso'. Also Italian, roughly translating into 'the judgment is passed'.
Her thoughts were beginning to lead towards these being acts of vigilantism but the other three cases were so wildly different in terms of victim.
They went as follows.
Aiko Onishi, a baker in Shibuya Ward. She was found impaled to the floor of her own bakery through her four limbs as well as heart.
Toru and Taro Ienaga, twin entrepreneurs who were both housed in Adachi Ward. The two were found tied to chairs back to back with a wooden stake through the stomach. Bullet holes in each of their heads.
Finally the most notable murder and one so infamous that she recalls hearing about it three years back. The death of Shoko Natsume, a popular pop idol, she was shot to death on her way back to her apartment in Shinjuku Ward.
Though at least with her murder there was contention if Shoko was indeed murdered by the same person behind the previous killings. Apparently the killer confessed to it before he escaped Japanese authorities and fled the country.
Either way all four of the following victims were well-respected members of the community.
So why go from killing someone so horrible to murdering four innocent people? The logic didn't follow…
She obviously needs to take a deeper look into all these cases but there is one thing she wants to check first.
The apparent killer, Giovanni Romano.
She was not prepared for what she would find.
Akira Furuya POV (Classroom of Class 78-A)
You find yourself bored as you silently listen to the ramblings of your drunkard of a teacher. He was lecturing on the importance of developing our talents and the numerous facilities we could use to do so.
Which would be nice if you weren't aware of this information before coming to the school to begin with. You have to ask what kind of pamphlet he's reading off of…
It was your fault though, you had decided to attend class to keep up appearances… However, you were surprised that most of your classmates actually decided to attend as well.
Most is the important word. Some people were missing, such as the blonde guy you believed to be Togami. Toko was also nowhere to be found, and neither was Mukuro. The ones that surprised you the most were Kirigiri and Naegi.
You expected both of them to be like one of the three people who'd come to class outside of Ishimaru… Not that you're disappointed to be proven wrong but it does make you wonder if something is going on.
Bored with the unimportant lecture, intrusive thoughts fly into your mind as you scheme on what you could do next. Should you find another target? Should you just keep breaking the will of those you've already started on?
The future was giving you so much anticipation, and with that anticipation came vigor!
So much vigor in fact…
That you almost could withstand Junko's constant prodding as she continued to poke at you from her seat. "What's with the evil grin? Did something spicy happen recently?" Asked the girl.
"I've been enjoying my time here more than I thought I would." Was your simple response.
Seemingly interested, Junko brings up a good question, "Really? It's only been a few days and you're already stoked? I just have to ask what you've been up to?"
She just gave you that obnoxious grin that told you she didn't actually care, she just wanted to annoy you…
Maybe Junko would be a great next victim for your escapades. You really hate annoying buzzing things that fly around you and suck out all the enjoyment of things… You mean Junko, not mosquitos. Though the similarity at this point is pretty evident.
Forty Five Minutes Later (Outside Therapist's Office)
With 'class' over and done with you headed over to Miaya's office to see who you would be talking with today but you found the door locked… Which meant Miaya was currently speaking with someone inside, or at least that's what you're assuming.
So you just leaned against the wall next to the door. You were already pretty late because well… You got lost again, but that's besides the point! Either way it was odd that Miaya wasn't ready for you… Perhaps she decided to have you not do a session today?
You know your words the other day affected her, but you doubted it would make her reconsider you doing these therapy session things.
As you were lost in thought you hear the jingling of the doorknob right next to you as you see a rather boring looking guy trying to get inside. You then realize it was Naegi… He turns to you and asks, "Uh hey… Is this the Therapist's Office?"
Huh?
"Yeah?" You say in confusion.
Scratching the back of his head Naegi then announces his relief by saying, "Oh great I thought I somehow got lost! That would've been embarrassing!"
You could feel the muscles all over your body clench at the unintentional call out.
There's nothing wrong with having a flaw… Even if it's as fucking ridiculous as having no sense of direction, there is nothing wrong with it!
It works sometimes dammit!
"Are you okay? You look a little frustrated." Naegi asks in concern.
Not wanting to spell out why you were actually upset, you explained your clear annoyance away with, "Oh sorry… I just had been waiting for Miaya to open the door for a while now…"
"Why would she call in two students?" Naegi wondered aloud.
So that likely means you'll be talking to Naegi today. He doesn't seem like a bad guy or anything, he just is… Bland? You of all people felt kind of rude for saying that of him. He was just too average to gain your interest, nothing against him that's just how your brain has always worked.
Just as you finished that thought Miaya walked out the door with a familiar figure in tow as you see one Miu Iruma. Upon catching sight of you and Naegi the girl freaked out as she let out an eep and hid behind the door.
Miaya, confused at the two of you being here says, "Ah Furuya, Naegi… You two are here a bit…" She checks her pocket watch only for eyes to widen in realization as she then scratches at her cheek in mild embarrassment.
She then says, "Oh, nevermind… Seems I was the one holding you two up, apologies."
Miaya then speaks with a quiet voice as she explains, "The poor girl has been having night terrors recently so she took up more of my time than I thought."
Naegi seemed apologetic for whatever reason while you just looked on with an 'upset' expression. Though you were smiling like a madman underneath the facade. Night terrors? What bullshit! She actually told no one what happened?
HAHAHAHA! What a damned idiot!
Making her voice louder but keeping a soothing tone Miaya then says, "Iruma it's okay they're just students from your sister class."
The girl then ran past you three as Miaya sighed and explained, "I'll have to go catch up with her… Ummm…" She paused as she turned to you.
Her expression sours a bit as she says, "The office is yours Furuya."
She then walks off leaving a confused Naegi…
You do the only thing you can think of and properly introduce yourself to your fellow classmate, "Akira Furuya, Ultimate Psychologist. I assume you'll be my 'patient' today?"
"Ah? Really? I didn't expect Hope's Peak would have students take on such important jobs… But I guess it makes sense the more I think about it… Oh wait! I'm being rude aren't I! I'm Makoto Naegi, I'm this year's Ultimate Lucky Student! Though I wouldn't really say I'm lucky…" Was his response.
Well this session might not be so bad, even if you like the craziness of Ultimates', they can be exhausting at times. A palette cleanser of personality would be nice.
The two of you enter the office and sit down in opposing chairs. As you figure what to talk about and Makoto prepared himself.
With your set of questions figured out you asked the first thing that came to mind, "Before we really begin let's start with a simple question. You mentioned you don't feel particularly lucky despite being the Ultimate Lucky Student. Mind explaining your feelings on that?"
Scratching the back of his head, Makoto seems a bit embarrassed as he says, "Oh… Of course… Well it's nothing special, I just got in via lottery, not because of my actual luck. I'd actually say my luck is pretty terrible!" You raise an eyebrow at the rather harsh rejection of the idea that he could be lucky.
But he changes his tune after a second, "Mediocre might be a better word…"
"If you don't mind, could you elaborate?" You ask.
"My luck just usually inconveniences me is all. Sometimes something good happens by the end of it but usually I just end up with a bit of a bad attitude after everything's said and done…" He explains vaguely.
You think on what he said for a moment but you really didn't get anything from it. So you decided it was best not to press the issue, just saying some kind words so that he doesn't get upset over his 'bad luck', "Well that's unfortunate, but even if it's hard you just have to keep a positive attitude right?"
Makoto immediately agreed, "Yeah exactly."
Yet despite him agreeing with you, it felt as though he didn't fully accept such logic. Internally anyway, certainly in his head it all makes sense. But if it was so important to stay positive then what's the point of putting himself down?
Even if he isn't as lucky as his title would make one believe… Why would that prevent him from appreciating that he was LUCKY enough to get into Hope's Peak?
Actually that gave you a great idea. "Alright then. What about your time leading up to Hope's Peak did anything interesting happen?" You asked.
"Uh… Well it's a story for sure." His words were once again vague.
Hoo boy you can already tell this is going to be a roller coaster ain't it.
A silence purveyed the room for a minute before Makoto suddenly jumped in his seat as he panicked then explained, "Just give me a second to remember all the details, that day was a bit hectic."
Not wanting to appear rude you quietly say, "Take all the time you need."
Seemingly not heeding your words he began, "Umm… Well it all began after I left school and decided to walk by a park." Okay…
He takes a few seconds to think further before continuing with, "I noticed a group of people, friends of mine, were talking with one another."
Another brief pause occurs and you goad him on with an, "Uhuh…"
Makoto then jumps again as he apologizes before continuing on, "Oh sorry… Again that day was hectic… Anyways, I remember wanting to find out what they were talking about so I headed over towards them. When I got over there I found out they were trying to figure out who should go to the convenience store and get snacks for the group…"
With a little bit of unveiled mirth you say, "I assume you ended up the stooge?"
Sighing to himself Makoto says, "Yeah."
"But still that alone wouldn't make a day very meaningful or at all hectic like you said. So something transpired after this?" You ask.
With a brief nod Makoto then explained further, "After I got the snacks and drinks I obviously made my way back to the group. But not soon after I left the store both bags tore open while I was distracted."
Mild inconveniences seem to keep stacking for Makoto don't they?
Makoto's face tenses a bit before he then explains, "Then this really rude old guy took one of the cans that fell out before he began drinking from it. Then after drinking most of it he just gave it back to me before walking off leaving his phone behind on a bench."
Obviously the rudeness of this old man was oddly spiteful. However, what you found even odder was the complete lack of disdain Makoto was expressing. He only seemed annoyed at what he just told you… Was something like that normal for him?
"So what happened after that?" You asked, inquisitive on how Makoto truly was.
"Well obviously I tried to give the old guy his phone back…" Makoto explained as if it was the most natural thing ever.
With a blank expression you invisibly glare at Makoto as you begin seriously wondering what is wrong with him. You don't need to be morally good natured to understand the difference between being nice and being a doormat. Seems like Makoto is the latter.
Somewhat exasperated at the nonsensical answer you say, "Okay."
Makoto then said, "The man was surprisingly fast on his feet so I had a hard time catching up with him and by the time I did he was getting onto a bus. And while I can't remember why, I do remember tripping over myself as I was trying to get onto the bus to give the man his phone back."
You did not like wherever this was going.
Makoto then quickly began explaining, "Thankfully I was able to grab onto something to stop myself from falling over… Then I remember some guy pulling a knife out on me and then I remember the bus accelerating and me needing to slam the brakes. Then I think the guy with the knife ran out of the bus, and then I think I was for some reason chasing him… And… And that entire fiasco was a train wreck…"
"I don't really remember everything that happened during that, and I think it was on the news the next day, so I'd rather not talk about it… Umm, anyways… After that I just decided to head home, and when I got there apparently the letter from Hope's Peak had just arrived as well…" He finally finished.
Taking a second to ruminate on his sudden change in pace, and level of detail, you just have to wonder… "I don't mean to be rude obviously… But that's not very lucky." You say.
Makoto halfheartedly chuckles, "Now you see where I'm coming from?"
"Well I hope your short time in Hope's Peak has been far better than, well that…" You state.
Makoto nods excitedly as he says, "Oh yeah! Honestly it's a little too much for me at times, I'm not sure what I was expecting. But it was definitely along the lines of a more traditional school experience. Yet it's only been four days, and I feel like a week has already passed!"
"I'm also really glad that our class is filled with such cool people. It really is an honor to be here!" He happily exclaimed.
You smirk internally as you think about what's happened from your point of view over the past few days… Surely there are good people, but nefarious actors such as you are clearly running wild. Oh well, let him live in the bliss of ignorance…
Taking from your internal amusement you smile comfortably as you say, "That's great to hear. Are there any events that have occurred in the past few days you'd like to touch on or no?"
Makoto thinks to himself for a moment. "Well I did meet Sayaka again… Should probably keep that to myself though." He whispers to himself, with you barely making out what he said. You don't bring it up though for obvious reasons.
After a bit of silence he then decides on, "Ah, there were some things, but I'd feel uncomfortable talking about them with someone who's relatively new to me."
You nod, and explain plainly, "Of course, that's no problem at all Naegi. I was just wondering if there was anything you wanted to discuss. If there's nothing, there's nothing."
"Still feels a bit rude of me to be wasting your time like this…" The brown haired boy says as he scratches the back of his head.
Chuckling to yourself you say, "I don't think you understand how therapy works. The only one's time that can be wasted is yours. If anything it's my job to ensure you come away from talking with me as a better person."
Suddenly panicking, Makoto began waving his hands in front of himself as he tried to elaborate, "I didn't mean to insinuate… I was just… I'm sorry for being rude!"
Breaking into full on guffaw, unable to take playing around with Makoto any longer, you then say, "Oh you are just a joy to be around! Calm yourself."
"Huh?" Makoto asks, confused.
"I was simply playing Naegi. As I've said before, feel free to take all the time you need, if it means the entire session is spent with us two sitting in silence it'll be fine." You explain.
"Are you sure?" He asks with a healthy amount of trepidation.
You respond quickly with, "Of course." There's nothing someone like him could offer you anyway beyond simple amusement. He really is just some guy. An unfortunate one, but misfortune is nothing special.
After a minute or two of letting silence proliferate the room you decide to break it up by asking, "How about your project? Is it going alright?"
"Huh?" Confusedly asks Makoto.
"The talent show stuff." You specify.
Makoto's eyes widen in recognition as he then explains, "Oh yeah! That… Um… Well it's been going good… I think. Keebo said he'd figured an idea out by this afternoon but I really don't know how we're supposed to combine our two 'talents'… But we've been getting along well so I can consider that a plus!"
Nodding at his answer you then say, "Speaking of, how have you been with other people? You've been speaking relatively positively about our classmates, but if you don't mind I'd like a more specific answer. No need to go into details, and if you don't want to speak about a classmate I won't mind."
"Hmm…" Makoto hummed at your question.
Makoto then says, "If you'll just give me a second, I really hate to be a bother, but I want to remember things in clear detail!"
You make an affirmative hand motion but otherwise let him do as he pleases. Though you do take note of an odd tick that Makoto has when he's thinking. He actually grabs his chin with right hand and goes into a thinking pose. It's this bit of strangeness that breaks up his mundanity… You quickly try to rationalize why he does it…
Perhaps it was a habit he picked from watching tv shows?
It doesn't really matter… At the very least it'll be rather obvious when Makoto is thinking.
"Well I guess Leon was a pretty cool guy. I talked to him yesterday and I think we were rather friendly with one another?" He uncertainly says after a minute of thought.
"Guess? Think?" You ask, you had immediately noticed his choice of words.
Waving his hands in front of his face he then attempted to explain, "I wasn't really following what he was talking about… I think he was talking about girls… Or was it music… The point is the substance of the conversation didn't matter, I'm pretty sure the two of us had fun just talking… Mostly him though."
Before you could ask anything else Makoto continued to talk, "Then there was Aoi and I think she was trying to get me to swim with her. But she's just… A lot? Very energetic. Thankfully Sakura kept her on track. I think I would've died due to embarrassment before we even made it in the water."
He went on about every single one of our classmates for about thirty seconds each. It went from Mondo's attitude to Mukuro's cool to Chihiro's timid to Togami is a prick. It was exhausting just to listen to him but you wrote down every little detail knowing they could help in small ways.
However, you noticed something rather odd… He didn't mention Sayaka at all.
Even Kyoko got a mention. Something about her not understanding personal space? Probably boundaries… Makoto talks fast when he's passionate about something. It was really difficult to keep track of him.
Oh? What was that about Toko? She's rude? That doesn't sound like her but still you'll write it down.
Interrupting him before he inevitably started talking about whatever else he could say, "You really like our class don't you?"
That caused Makoto to pause as he then asked, "Huh?"
"Well you were speaking non-stop about pretty much everyone! You're rather passionate about us aren't you?" You tease, much to Makoto's shame as he blushes from the realization of what he just did.
He then attempted to excuse himself as he scratched at his cheek, "I just think you guys are really cool. Everyone's so talented and full of personality, I feel blessed to have been allowed to come here is all…"
"It wasn't like I was accusing you of anything Makoto! There is nothing wrong with being interested in other people. In fact I think that's a very admirable trait to have." You say.
"Don't you think it's a bit weird?" He asked, not sure himself.
"Without question." Is your response.
Makoto wilts at the comment but you were yet finished with your words, "But weird is not necessarily a bad thing. And as I said I find it an admirable trait. I like discovering things about people personally because it helps me help them. Considering who you are, I doubt your passion for our classmates is born of anything but pure intentions. So there's no need to feel ashame-!"
Just as you finished you felt a vibration in your pocket? Pulling out your phone you take note of a message from Celeste… Seems she wants to talk… You can actually spare a few more minutes for Makoto, but your girlfriend comes first.
"I'm afraid we're going to have to end this session here, is there anything else you'd like to add before then?" You state.
"No, but thank you for hearing me out." Is Makoto's response.
The two of you stand up and you take the chance to shake Makoto's hand before saying, "Very well then. Have a good day Makoto. It was a pleasure to talk to you."
From there you two head off.
You towards the dorms, Makoto towards wherever else.
The message sent seemed urgent.
Running over to the dorms you think over the message sent. It wasn't very detailed, just a simple 'I need you to come to the dorm, now'. You doubt anything has happened that would say cause distress, but it's obvious to some degree that it's somewhat urgent.
Climbing the stairs of the building you get to your dorm to find Celeste standing outside. Running up to her you quickly ask, "Did something bad happen?" Celeste looks noticeably upset as she stands there for a moment just looking at you with a dead expression.
With a brief sigh she then says, "Decide for yourself."
You could hear the sound of clanking metal as boots treaded upon the stairs from behind.
"Thank you Celeste." A noticeably monotone voice emanated from behind. It was immediately apparent you had been duped.
Your attitude was instantly soured. However you keep your annoyance hidden as you turn around to face the purple-haired detective to say, "Kirigiri… There are better ways to contact me, you know?"
With a blank expression Kyoko says, "I don't have your phone number."
Such a simple answer for such a complex individual it was almost humorous at how poorly thought out the excuse was. Yet you played along, "There are still other ways… Whatever, what is it? I doubt this is a courtesy call…"
"I needed to speak with you in private. I had gone to your dorm assuming I'd find you but instead I found Celeste. I asked her if she could text you to come over to save me time looking for you. It was simply the most convenient option at the time." She explained.
"What could you possibly want to speak about?" You ask.
"In private." She repeats.
Sighing to yourself you look to Celeste and then say, "Can you give us a few minutes?"
Waving you two off Celeste walks down the steps as you two are left alone. Obviously the open air is not sufficient for privacy so opening your dorm you enter it with Kyoko behind you. With no one else available to watch you decide to skip pleasantries, "What is it Kirigiri?" Your disdain was made known, you notice a brief freeze in the detective's movements.
She quickly recovers as she then explains, "I need to know some information about one of your previous patients."
"Do you know what client confidentiality is?" You ask.
"I am aware. I believe this situation to be a case where such confidentiality can be broken." She explains.
"Oh? How so? Because if you think I'm gonna fall for the crap Tokyo Police pulled on the regular when I just started you have another thing coming Kirigiri." You say with an indignant anger.
"The client I wish to fish for information on happens to be an international assassin. A foreign criminal, one that has already killed someone and likely plans to kill more within the coming weeks. Considering how loose Japan's confidentiality laws are to begin with, I believe that should be enough to warrant breaking confidentiality?" She explains.
"Do you have proof of these claims?" You ask almost hoping you could avoid this conversation already.
Heading towards your kitchen table Kyoko pulls out an envelope before opening it up and placing it down on the table. She then pulls out the material from it as she explains, "Three years ago a man named Ferrucio Bugiardo partook in six therapy sessions within your office over the course of two months. I have evidence to prove that Ferrucio Bugiardo is in fact the murderer of five individuals in those same two months."
You take a second to look at the face of the man in several of the photos from the envelope and you do remember talking to the man. "Yes, the first part is true at the very least. I remember him, he was an odd fellow but just a few pictures is not enough to have me say he's a murderer." Was your response.
You could see there was a lot more underneath the photos but you wanted to make Kyoko's time here miserable. Just like she is making it for you. In fact you catch her rolling her eyes at your response as she moves her 'evidence pile' to show a newspaper clipping. It had a photo of the same man taking a bow on a boat wearing a strange poncho as he was holding something in his hands.
True Face of the killer revealed, foreign assassin murders businessmen, politicians, and cultural icon.
"Again what does this have to do with anything?" You ask.
With a tense facial expression Kyoko then explains, "Ferrucio Bugiardo was the fake name of your patient. His real name is Giovanni Romano and as I said before he's an international assassin. I believe he is here in Japan to commit another set of murders."
"So you go to the therapist he was likely lying to." You point out.
Kyoko grits her teeth as she says, "I'm just trying to find out if there's anything that you would have that could help."
"Alright… So let me explain this to you simply Kirigiri. The patient you are talking to me about, I spoke with him six times in a setting built upon false pretenses. It has been three years since then and I don't remember much from my discussions with him as he was not a regular patient. On top of that any written down material I would've had on him is likely lost to time or wasting away in a box at my mother's apartment. So I can't really help you and honestly I'd like to be as uninvolved as possible with whatever you are doing." You spell out, not breathing once during your entire spiel.
Unwilling to give Kyoko the chance to speak up, you take a deep breath and finish with, "So if that is all I'd very much like it if you could take all of this, and then go plop it back down in your own dorm. I'm not interested."
Kyoko then tried to reason with you, "I understand if you're upset with my prior actions but this is a serious matter if there's even a chance you would have something that could help-!"
"Kirigiri, I'm not in the mood. If I can, I will look through the boxes at my mother's apartment, either way there is nothing for you here. Leave." You say with finality.
Kyoko stays silent for a few moments but ends up following your command as she picks up all her documentation before leaving.
How could someone so clearly competent be such an idiot? She was trying to get you involved with a criminal investigation as well it seems… Should you even really fulfill what you said earlier? It would probably be in your best interest to stay far away from whatever Kirigiri got involved with.
You're going to regret this aren't you… Whatever you'll go through them tomorrow, not right now, you are just not in the mood for Kirigiri's shit. You hear Celeste enter the dorm, or at least you assume so since you make out her voice.
"What was that all about?" She asked, clearly concerned.
Sitting at the kitchen table with your face in your hands you mutter, "She's trying to get me involved in some murder case or whatever."
Obviously that did not help Celeste's concerns, "What? Why? You didn't kill anyone did you?"
"No. But apparently a patient of mine a few years ago did." Getting up from your seat you walk over to Celeste who was still standing in the doorway.
"Are you going to help her with whatever it is?" She asked.
"Against my better judgment, I am." You answer.
She places her thumb's nail in between her teeth as she clenches them shut and mutters, "I think it would just be better to knock her out and throw her in a river somewhere."
Confused at the response, you then ask, "Where the hell did that come from?"
Then came the ranting, "That nosy bitch! I almost blew up on her when she was pestering me to call you! It took everything in me not to fucking smack her upside the head then and there… She was asking questions non-stop but I got the stupid bitch to at least go down a floor so I didn't have to listen to her shit anymore."
Your girlfriend takes a second to calm herself as she grits her teeth and complains, "I know the next time I see her is going to call for far too much restraint on my part."
Seems Celeste is joining you in the 'I don't like Kyoko very much' club.
"I'm not a fan of hers either, but control yourself where you can. Haven't seen you break character like this in a while…" Last time she got like this was over her cat, her parents couldn't afford to keep a pet in the house at the time.
She continued in her complaining, "Her attitude alone is numbing but then there's how she acts that really drives me up a wall. She'll be lucky if I never teach her a lesson this entire semester, much less the entirety of our time here!" Then came the threats.
"I'd watch out if I were you Celeste, she's still a detective. Pretty sure she can fight too, so I would like it if you could keep those fantasies in that pretty little head of yours." You warn, Celeste simply cedes your point by not continuing.
Sitting down on a chair in the main living space you then state, "I should state I don't disagree with you. She rubs me in the worst ways imaginable, just something about her that tells me to despise her. But I'm not gonna do anything about it unless she gets in the way of our fun."
You continue with, "Would hate having to deal with her in that way, would probably be forced to kill her too. Don't like the idea of putting down someone that pretty… Maybe we could just stuff her in a box in a warehouse or something."
Upon hearing your words something immediately changes in Celeste's demeanor as her eyes light up, and figure relaxes. Your own body begins to feel a light sense of tension and the slightest bit of a amorous atmosphere.
Your girlfriend then begins sashaying over to you as she begins saying, "Oooh… That's a good idea isn't it… Whisk her away to some warehouse nobody'll visit…" She then climbs on top of you and removes just enough of her clothing to show skin.
You smirk at her words and actions, just anticipating what came next. The idea was already fun, but what would come after Celeste's bit of foreplay would be the true show.
Leaning forward Celeste then whispers into your ear, "And then we play with her every second of every day and night for a week… Break that pretty little detective girl until she's nothing but a pet that can't even speak…" You shiver at the image in your head. It was enticing.
Grabbing hold of Celeste's waist you pull her in as you begin helping her remove the rest of her dress.
By the time she was in lingerie your shirt had already been ripped off by Celeste. Now all that remained in your dorm were two mostly naked, and very aroused, young adults ready to intermingle.
And intermingle you two would as you begin locking lips. To think such an action that is usually associated with love would be spurred on by the degeneracy that was both of your hatred for one woman…
If one were to somehow listen in on the dorm at some point over the next hour all that would be heard were the moans of lust and hate.
An Hour Later, Akira Furuya POV
After the intense makeout session you left Celeste to her own devices within your dorm. As much as you would've loved to go further you sadly had some things to take care of. Not least of which being the school talent show thing. Which means you'd have to not only find Ryoma but get him willing to talk to you.
A necessary but loathsome task to be sure.
You had already wandered the school grounds for quite a while, yet it seemed there was no hope in finding the small man. You give a quick curse under your breath towards your inability to navigate… However, you do not let that get to you as you begin using that head of yours.
Where would someone like Ryoma Hoshi be?
With a guy like him you wouldn't be surprised if he was on the roof of the building getting in a quick smoke before lamenting something about his past. He could just be in his dorm room doing absolutely nothing as well now that you think about it.
But there's a degree of contradiction you've already surmised from Ryoma's character. The way he speaks makes it seem as if he would be the kind of person who would lay in their bed until their body decided to finally give out. Yet he was actively attending Hope's Peak despite what your initial impression of him would dictate.
You can already tell much like most of the Ultimate's you've come across Ryoma is a complex individual… You've only needed to talk with him once to figure that out…
So, let's actually think about this for a moment.
Where would someone like Ryoma Hoshi really be?
You decide to make your way to the back of the school and look around the outdoor facilities to see if Ryoma's lurking nearby. What you instead find is what is at first an odd collection of individuals. However, the longer you think about it the more it makes sense these four would be hanging out with one another. Especially back here.
It appears Aoi, Sakura, Akane, and Nekomaru are having quite the session!
Right now you spy the four of them making use of the track and field track for some good old exercise. You would wonder if they just started, but considering Asahina is clearly sweaty and exhausted… They might've been at it for a while now.
Good on her for keeping up with the three other monsters because you don't even see a drop of sweat coming from any of them.
As you continue to walk by you begin investigating the other facilities such as the tennis court. However, you find nothing…
Damn.
You look over the locker rooms, the indoor and outdoor pool, and even the individual sports training rooms… Yet nothing… At least you've got a new found appreciation for the work Hope's Peak goes through to ensure any student of any profession can develop their talents here.
Walking back to the field you see Asahina has given up on trying to keep up with the other three, and Sakura seems to be talking with her friend as she relaxes on a bench. You decide you might as well get something from this.
Approaching the two you wave and greet them with, "Good afternoon Ogami, Asahina!"
"Hey Akira!" The exhausted Aoi waves back while Sakura simply grants you a short wave back and a nod.
As you got closer Aoi added onto her own greeting with, "You here to uh… Join us?"
With a shake of your head you then answer Aoi's question, "I'm afraid not, I'm actually looking for someone."
In between breaths Aoi says, "Oh? Maybe I saw them earlier… What did they look like?"
You decide to humor Aoi not really expecting her to have seen Ryoma, "About yay high. Appears very moody. Wearing a lot of blue."
Aoi puts her finger to her chin and thinks over your description before saying, "Yeah I don't think I've seen anyone that looks like that, sorry!" What you expected, but there was no reason to be unfriendly with the girl.
"I do believe I witnessed someone of that description at the very least." Sakura says, and that grabs your attention.
"When?" You ask.
Sakura takes a moment to think it over before saying, "It was around forty minutes ago, just a short while after we began the group workout…" You watch the white haired girl's eyes widen in realization before she turns to her friend.
After that short pause Sakura then loudly asks, "Aoi! Didn't you speak with him for a while by the tennis court?" Huh?
"Huh?" Asahina repeated your thoughts aloud.
The Ultimate Swimmer's eyes light up as she then says, "Oh yeah! I completely forgot because I got so focused on keeping up with you and Akane! Yeah I think he was planning on doing something over there but decided against it, he left a bit after I spoke with him… I don't really remember what we talked about but I think he headed over to the dorms."
What a silly girl…
But that's probably the best lead you'll get… Oh well… "Thanks for the help you two. I hope you both have a good rest of your day." You cordially thank them.
"No problem, have a nice day Akira!" The bubbly girl responds.
While her more stoic friend says, "You as well."
Yet before you were able to walk you felt something slam into your back as boisterous laughter filled your ears, "Hahaha! We meet again! How have you been since we last spoke, Furuya!" Nekomaru Nidai has joined the conversation… Despite the fact it just ended.
You weren't going to stop being cordial though, even with this interruption, "I've been fine. Though I'm honestly surprised you remember me Nidai, I didn't think I left much of an impression."
Seemingly taking offense to what you just said, Nekomaru then loudly proclaims, "It's a personal tenet of mine to not forget the names of those with potential! Regardless of how little I've spoken to or know about them!" Okay…
"Coach we aren't done! You ain't taking a break are you?" Akane shouts out as she realizes Nekomaru had stopped running with her. She then stopped running on the track, and began running over.
This is going to be a problem… Isn't it…
As Akane makes her way towards the four of you Nekomaru becomes distracted, "Wouldn't dream of it Akane! Just wanted to say hi to one of our underclassmen-... Who happens to have disappeared! Ha!" Yeah you got out of there as quickly as possible. You are not getting roped into another workout, once with Sakura was enough.
Though you did feel a bit rude for running off like that. However, it was in the best interests of your mental and physical health that you left.
So off to the dorms in search of a little man…
Actually now that you are thinking about it, based on Sakura and Aoi's words he would've been over there when you left to go search… Talk about some bad luck.
A Few Minutes Later, Akira Furuya POV
Arriving back from whence you came, you realize how difficult it's going to be to find where Ryoma is. He's probably in his dorm, but you don't know which one is his obviously. Guess you could ask around but if you can you'll avoid it.
You want to waste as little time as possible.
As if answering your own prayers…
There he is… It seems you won't have to search whichever dorm is his since he's right here in front of you! Well, he's exiting the lounge, but that's besides the point.
"Hoshi!" You shout out as you run over to him.
His already sour mood appears to get worse as he stares at you, he even mutters to himself, "Can't get any peace around here…"
"Been looking all over for you!" You say in between breaths, feigning exhaustion.
"Of course…" The small man sighs to himself.
"Well what is it?" He asks with a tone that could only be described as devoid of life.
Producing the facade of not wanting to bother him you explain, "The talent stuff. I'd rather hash out ideas with you sooner rather than later…"
He again sighs to himself as he says, "Yeah… Probably best to get it done now. Wish I could just be unbothered though. No one should be wasting their time with a guy like me."
Well that was easy.
Behind the Male Dorms, About Ten Minutes of Discussion has passed, Still Akira Furuya POV
"So what do you think?" You ask.
Ryoma seems a little uncertain, "It'll definitely get attention. But I doubt it's what the school wants from us. Don't really see how this combines our two talents though…" It almost sounded like he actually cared about doing well!
"Well Tennis and Psychology is a pretty hard sell that's for sure. There's basically no meaningful way to make use of both of our talents in full. However if we broaden what our talents represent, or specify in my case, we have a bit more leeway." You reiterate.
Ryoma nods as he takes a piece of candy from his pocket before putting it in his mouth and saying, "Yeah, yeah you already explained that. I'm not saying it's a bad idea… Just that I have doubts your idea is what the school is looking for from us."
"Well that's why we should be figuring it out. Think about it like this: my plan ensures almost all of the effort and blame go to me. You just have to do some tennis practice as I basically give you a free therapy session." You say in response.
Ryoma grumbles under his breath, "Then there's my own conniptions with that plan as well…"
You shake your head at Ryoma's insistence on doing but what you've suggested, "It's not like you're going to have to tell me anything personal. You'll be basically getting what I give to those with weekly appointments. Advice and comfort over recent happenings. Unless you want to tell me about your troubles and work them out?"
"Yeah no. Had enough of your type for one lifetime… If just pretending what you're going to do works is enough I'll be fine with that. Especially if I never have to talk to you again afterwards." Ryoma harshly explains.
A bit rude but you've dealt with worse… However you did have one question in relation to his first statement, "The curious type or the therapist type?"
"Both." He answers immediately.
Oh well… "Just give it a chance Hoshi, I don't know what you went through but I can assure you of one thing. You'll get something out of this one way or another." You attempt to assuage his concerns, but you know Ryoma is already naturally cautious of you. Probably bordering on actual hatred.
"There's still one last problem…" Ryoma states.
"What is it?" You ask.
He then says something that throws your entire plan out of whack, "If I could, I'd never touch a racket again for the rest of my life."
"Of course…" You mutter.
"But… It'd be uncool of me to put you into a position to fail, even if I dislike you. So just this once, I'll do it…" He explains.
You immediately wanted to prod on why he would have an apparent disdain for his own talent… But you weren't going to ruin your chances just to sate your curiosity, "Thank you Ryoma, seriously I mean it."
"Don't thank me, at least not until we know whatever score we get." He says. It is the last word between you two as he then walks off.
You're glad you finally sorted that all out. Even if Ryoma is uncertain if your plan will succeed… Well let's just say you have faith.
Climbing back up the stairs of the dorm building you begin hearing a familiar set of voices, "Alright Mikan! Just give a good ol' rap to the door and 'Kira will come runnin for sure! It's Ibuki guaranteed!" Why is she here?
Then you hear the voice of Mikan, "I-If you s-say so… Eep!" A light knocking sound is heard.
You wait on the floor below, not wanting to get involved with anything else. All that you wanted to do was go back to your dorm and have some more fun with Celeste. That was until you parsed what Ibuki said and realized the door they just knocked at…
Was yours... Fuck.
With Celeste inside, not you. This is about to get ugly.
Before you could do anything you overhear the door opening and then Celeste's voice, "How may I help you." You doubt either of them noticed, but there was an underlying bite to Celeste's words.
"Wah! It's 'Kira's scary girlfriend!" Ibuki shouted out.
"I have a name…" Your scary girlfriend points out.
Mikan then asks, "C-Celeste… R-Right? I'm so sorry if I got that wrong!"
"You got it correct. Now again, how may I help you?" Celeste asks in return.
"U-Um… Is… Is… Um… Pl-Please don't stare at me like that…" Mikan pathetically blithers out.
Ibuki takes control of the situation by saying, "Ibuki and Mikan are looking for 'Kira! Is he here?"
"No." She plainly says. An uncomfortable silence then follows.
Okay…
This is getting awkward. What should you do?
Shaking yourself out of your stupor you swiftly climb the stairs and immediately try acting natural, "What's going on up here?" The three girls turn to face you. Each one with a different expression, Celeste's in particular, was rather dangerous. Ibuki on the other hand was visibly shaking in excitement while Mikan looked on in worry.
Celeste then said, "These two were looking for you for some reason. Since you're now here, deal with them, I have more important business to attend to." Celeste then went to leave and you quickly picked up on the fact that your girlfriend looked agitated.
Your brain immediately went to the simplest explanation of that she may be bored with nothing to do in the dorm.
That or she was annoyed that you were about to be spending time with two people she didn't like very much. Which knowing Celeste may be a better assumption. You just have to wonder what could've possibly made her dislike Mikan and Ibuki enough to get that upset from being in their presen-…
Actually… Now that you're thinking about it, she may be upset with you for whatever reason…
She better not be though…
The amount of times where she's had a problem and just not expressed is too innumerable. She often expects you to immediately understand her. Which to be fair to her, you usually do. However, you're pretty lost for the specific reason Celeste was acting like that.
Sadly it was not a mystery you could pursue right now…
You have two guests to entertain…
Ibuki sprang up and joyfully shouted, "Sup, 'Kira!" You have no idea why she was waving at you though… You're two feet away does she really need to draw more attention to herself by yelling and waving like that?
"Hello, Ibuki… Mikan." You said in response.
Mikan muttered under her breath what sounded like a hello, but she was so quiet you couldn't be sure.
Taking control of the situation you say, "So, what can I do for you two?"
Ibuki immediately went to explain, but halfway during her sentence you saw Mikan bump into the musician, "Oh! Yeah you see Mikan really neede-... Oh yeah, Ibuki should probably let her speak for herself!"
So Mikan needed something in particular? Is this related to what happened the other day when Mikan and Ibuki tried to overstay their welcome?
On the slight chance that it is… You'll stake yourself on the hope to sate your curiosity…
"Y-You… See… I-I-I…" Mikan started.
Mikan tried really hard to finish her sentence, "I h-had… W-Wanted t-to…"
She then pulled her hands over her eyes and hid behind them like it was the only way to salvage her dignity before bemoaning, "I-I-I c-can't Ibuki… I-It's too embarrassing!"
Oh dear.
Looks like it's already gone to shit… She couldn't even tell you whatever it was she wanted… Poor girl, it must be terrible to have a mind that attacks you at every moment like hers. The very second she's about to commit to something she clearly wanted to say, she backs away at the last moment.
Unfortunately for her, your desire for your curiosity to be sated was too great at this point. Regardless of the problems in Mikan's head you had to know what she wanted. You had to…
The facade on your face was that of worry, and a lack of understanding. As if you cared for the fact that Mikan was having trouble… However, it couldn't be farther from the truth. You could feel your cheek muscles pull, your face wanting to split into a large grin.
You held it back as you always have and made your approach.
The grim thoughts in your brain were hidden behind the calming words you said next, "Hey it's alright, Mikan. I'm certain whatever it is, you don't need to feel embarrassed."
Ibuki chimed in as well, looking the slightest bit less hyper as she said, "Yeah! There's nothing to be ashamed about! Trust me you'll only regret it if you don't ask!" Ask? So that meant she wanted something from you?
Mikan clearly didn't agree as she then turned around and placed her hands on top of her head before squatting. It was an odd sight… It was as if she was trying to hide from the both of you despite the fact you both were right there…
Poor, poor Mikan… Hiding away in her insecurities was not going to prevent you from pulling those dark thoughts to the surface to sate yourself.
Individuals like Mikan, were made for you to dissect intellectually.
So you say, "Mikan, trying to hide away like that is only going to drive away the people who want to help you most… So what if it is embarrassing? You should have confidence that the people around you care enough to not abandon you because you did something viewed as foolish."
"Yeah what 'Kira said!" Ibuki said as she pointed finger guns in your direction.
You could hear the Ultimate Nurse grumble before she stood up, walked towards you until she was about half a meter away and said, "I-I-I h-had… W-Wanted to ask… I-If… Y-You could… F-Fix me…"
A brief silence occurs which causes Mikan to grow antsy before saying, "I knew it was stupid! I'm sorry for being such a nuisance! Please forgive me!"
Realizing you were going to miss your chance if you stood there dumbfounded any longer you just said, "No, no! You aren't being a nuisance! I'm just uncertain of what you mean…"
In response to what you had just said, Ibuki spoke up, "Well Mikan was wondering if she could get your help since you're a psychologist." Okay?
Before you could say anything Ibuki continued quickly with, "Oh, and before you ask, 'Why doesn't she seek help from the school therapist!'. Mikan doesn't trust her for whatever reason…"
While what Ibuki said was enlightening, you didn't find her impression of you very flattering… Your voice is not at all deep. At least not that deep.
Also why wouldn't Mikan trust Miaya?
Wait a second… Mikan may be a nurse but it is possible she may have known about the scandal Miaya was involved with… That or for whatever reason Mikan doesn't like her. Oh well, Miaya's loss, and your gain.
"I certainly wouldn't mind such a thing. I just don't understand why it was so difficult to ask." Was your belated response.
"Mikan's like that." Ibuki somewhat callously said, which caused Mikan to flinch at the quite rude statement.
Though you would have to agree.
Very well, perhaps you should make this easier for Mikan, and decide for her what should be done…
Coming to a decision, you speak candidly with a faint smile, "I feel it would be wrong of me to ignore the pleas of a friend in need. So if you require my talent I'd be more than happy to abide. However, obviously I am sometimes busy and won't be able to help you at certain times…"
Mikan appears to tense up at those words, though you weren't finished speaking, "So I would recommend speaking with Miaya if you can set up a session in advance rather than just randomly approaching me. Again you can come to me for assistance whenever you like, just a bit of forewarning will allow me to plan around it."
"O-Of… Course… I-I w-wouldn't want to b-bother you…" Mikan says with some uncertainty. You honestly doubt her ability to inform you in advance but… That shouldn't be a problem, the guilt she'll feel from it alone will help a long way.
After all, who are you to deny Mikan's desire to be brought under your wing and be made into your adorable little patient? You'll help her with her every wish and whim… At a price of something most precious…
Unaware of your intentions, Ibuki began to celebrate, "Woohoo! You did it! Ibuki's certain by the end of the year you'll be a whole new Mikan!" Oh how ironic those words are…
"Th-Thanks…" Mikan said in response solemnly.
Now that you think about it… Why should Mikan be your lone patient? It would be a damned shame if she were left alone in your care… Perhaps her friends should join her-!
No! You're getting ahead of yourself!
One step at a time.
They'll all fall into your lap eventually.
Yet it was so tempting to ask Ibuki then and there if she would like 'psychological assistance' as well. You knew better than to rush ahead without a plan, but the fantasy of having all four of those girls serving you…
Best to void the thought for now. Tempting it was, too tempting.
Not letting your mind wander back into the darkness you hastily ask, "Now is that all you two needed or was there anything else I could do for you?"
Ibuki stops her celebrating to enter a thinking pose before saying, "Ibuki can't think of anything, but we could always hang out! Though it is getting a bit late…" As her words trailed off the usually exuberant Ibuki quieted down.
Seems like you'll be making decisions for her already…
"The night's still young…" You state.
It took Ibuki a moment to process what you said as her face broke into an ear to ear smile. She then excitedly yelled, "Oh hell yeah!" Mikan flinched from the sudden loudness but quickly recovered, likely used to Ibuki's antics.
Then Ibuki paused before saying, "I didn't think I'd get this far."
The sudden shift in mood from Ibuki left you at a loss for words. Thankfully you are a quick thinker, "Your talent lies in music right Ibuki?"
Your question immediately catches her attention as she responds with, "Uh… Yeah why?"
"I have an acoustic with me. It's a bit old and not in the best condition but I'm certain it'll be an acceptable instrument in your hands." You say as you head to your room.
"Oh?" Ibuki asks inquisitively.
Meanwhile Mikan had a very different reaction, "Oh no…"
It takes you a second to find the case for the damn thing as you hadn't gotten the time yet to really make your room… Your fault entirely, but living with the chaos is your normal. Exiting your bedroom you hold in your hands an antique acoustic guitar.
"Again, it's a bit ragged but it should be fine. I played it a few times before coming here but I've never really been good at the guitar." You say.
Ibuki looks at the thing with a hint of wonder in her eyes as she says, "Honestly I'm just surprised you have a thing like this with you! Didn't take you for the hoarder type!"
You chuckle at the statement, "I do dabble in collecting things actually. But nah, this guitar was my father's. He was a hobbyist outside of work and he played it a lot when I was younger." Both of the girl's noticed how wistful you seemed as you spoke.
"I-I take i-it… That he's…" Mikan tried to say.
You quickly answer the unasked question, "Died of overwork about two years back. Don't worry though. I've already gotten over my grief. Just wanted to see how well Ibuki could play."
"O-Oh… Okay…" Was Mikan's response.
Ibuki now looked at the old guitar with a sense of anticipation and uncertainty as you handed it over to her, before she asked, "Are you certain you want to hand something so personal to me? Feels like something you would share with a close friend."
You immediately struck back with, "Then consider this a testament to our growing friendship."
In truth you just wanted to hear someone with actual skill play the old thing. It's been too long, and you've never been good at guitar.
Ibuki meanwhile copied Mikan's words as she said, "O-Oh… Okay…" Clearly a little unsettled by what you just did, it takes a moment for her to collect herself.
When Ibuki finally regains her smile she declares, "Alright then! Let this next song be dedicated to 'Kira's father!"
That one surprised you as you hastily say, "No need to do something like that Ibuki! This is just for us to enjoy time together!"
Ibuki immediately responded with, "Sure, sure 'Kira! Let Ibuki do her thing she'll blow you away!" Did she figure out your actual intention? Maybe you should give Ibuki some more credit, it's clear she isn't an idiot by this point.
Though as Ibuki began tuning the guitar you saw Mikan tense up. This was the second time she showed apprehension towards Ibuki's music talent… Now you were beginning to feel the same apprehension. What could possibly cause such a reaction from Mikan?
As Ibuki went to play her first note you felt a need to call out for her to stop…
Yet as the sound of the guitar began to fill the room such fears were promptly erased.
What came from your father's guitar and Ibuki's playing could only be described as a beautiful requiem. She strummed with grace and her fingers slid along the chords with an intense amount of skill.
Ibuki herself looked like she was putting her all into the piece as her face had become stoic and her attention was entirely on the guitar in hand. You took a second to look at Mikan's reaction and she appeared to be surprised. As if this level of skill shown by Ibuki was odd.
However, you decided to put such things aside and instead lost yourself to the music.
It was not at all something your father would've played. However, just hearing the guitar in practice once more was enough to spark memories of when you were much younger… When you weren't who you are now. You began to feel guilt for every terrible thing you've done…
Your father would likely be disappointed with himself if he saw you now… You had become a horrible person run entirely by your wants.
Yet back then he brought out the best in your family, but he himself was not without flaw. His dedication to his job took him away from you. In his absence you and your mother's worst traits came to the forefront and took over your lives in just two short years.
As the piece continued you had one question play in your head again and again. Why do bad things keep happening to good people? It was something you asked your father when you were about ten… Even after all these years you are left without an answer.
As the song slowly came to a close you could feel that your eyes were wet, but you didn't let tears fall from your face. You had an appearance to keep up. However, "That was beautiful. Thank you Ibuki." You were not going to let good work go without praise.
Ibuki herself sighed as she handed over the guitar to you before saying, "I'm just glad I was able to come up with something good. It's been forever since I've played an actual acoustic so I was afraid it would be worse than my usual playing!"
Mikan hastily said, "No, no! I-In f-fact… I-I think it's way better than w-what you us-usually play." that was surprisingly forceful from her.
"Aw shucks! Thanks Mikan for the compliment! Though I don't think I'll go back to acoustics, metal is a lot more fun!" Ibuki said in response. Mikan appeared to wilt at the statement.
Turning your attention away from their conversation and towards the guitar in hand.
You wonder to yourself… If you should really continue with everything you plan on doing.
You shake away the thought immediately, you know why you're thinking like this. It's not because you feel any actual shame for what you did, you could care less how cruel you are.
Rather your guilt is because you feel as though you've failed your father…However, he is no longer here. You will sate your desires. If that requires you to steal, rape, or kill. You'll do so.
You don't care how much guilt you feel at this point. If your father hadn't want you to fall like you have he wouldn't have let what happened happen.
No longer caring about rationalizing it all you ask Ibuki, "Are you sure you don't want to play one more piece, Ibuki?"
Her response was immediate, "Are you kidding? I'd love to! It's… Just… Well, that took a lot out of Ibuki! My fault for going all out, but I guess I could freestyle for a bit though."
"If you want to, I won't mind." You say.
"Sure! Let's give it a go!" Ibuki excitedly says as she takes back the guitar.
You sit down and just take a moment to relax. You want to enjoy this for a bit longer. You want to feel like your old self for a bit longer. You wanted your father… For a bit longer…
Ibuki played for a bit longer but eventually came to a stop when her creative juices could no longer flow… Those were her words obviously. You were currently putting away your father's guitar while the two girls were talking in the other room. Though it was probably Ibuki doing all the talking.
Leaving your bedroom you hear the front door of the dorm open and you see that Celeste has returned as she speaks with agitation, "You two are STILL here?"
You quickly came to their defense as you say, "They were just about to leave Celeste. We finished up with what we were doing." It should be said the three of you never spoke of when they were going to leave.
Thankfully they caught on as Ibuki hurriedly said, "Yeppers! It's been a fun night 'Kira! Ibuki and Mikan'll catch ya later!"
Mikan herself tried to say goodbye, "B-B-B-y-..." Though she never got the chance as Ibuki dragged her out of your dorm before she could finish. Oh well.
That left just you and Celeste… In this empty, silent, starting to feel claustrophobic room.
You quickly asked, "Are you upset about something?"
"Why would I be?" She asked in response with an upturned nose and an obvious glare.
She's totally upset then…
"Well I was planning on going for a walk so if you want to hop into bed or something I ain't gonna stop you." You say as you begin leaving your dorm.
Celeste thankfully doesn't try anything and just says, "How courteous."
Exiting the dorm you look to see if you could apologize to Ibuki and Mikan for very suddenly making them leave… But they're nowhere to be found… Guess you're going on that walk after all.
It'll give Celeste some more time to calm down over whatever she's upset about. Unless she's upset at you, in which case you are only delaying the inevitable.
Oh woe is you to live this wonderful life.

A bit of time has passed since you left your dorm. You had been walking around the dorm building but quickly grew bored… You also didn't want to go back to your dorm so soon lest Celeste chew you out.
So you decided to wander around the campus as a whole
Okay so that's not entirely accurate. You had decided you were going to that, that is true. However, that was not what you were currently doing. Why? Because you had awkwardly wandered onto a strange sight.
Chiaki Nanami was sitting on a bench.
Nothing odd about that, it was a bit late but no one could stop her from doing what she wanted after all… However, what was odd is that you could make out that she was crying. Barely audible sniffs were heard.
She hadn't noticed you were here yet, but that wasn't a concern. She seemed so focused in her wallowing you wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't even aware about where she was.
Could this be related to what she told you about that 'friend' of hers?
You had to wonder if you should even interfere. But sitting on that bench, under the light of the moon and the street lamp… It was like the world itself was drawing your attention towards her.
You begin making your way over to the bench, not hiding your presence at all. So it was quite funny that upon sitting right next to Chiaki she simply continued to cry not even noticing you were there. Her lack of awareness was certainly odd.
She must be stuck up in that head of hers then.
Time to pull her out of it. "Having a bad night?' You ask in a casual tone.
Chiaki jumped immediately at the sudden question. Her eyes widened and her tears stopped for a moment. She stared at you in fear, clearly startled by your 'sudden presence' before calming down and saying, "That was mean…"
You then proceed to lie, "So that's what gets you? I asked if you were okay like three times now."
"Oh… Sorry." Chiaki said solemnly.
She then lifted her head to look at you face to face, her expression was that of an unamused pout as she said, "It was still mean…"
Rubbing the back of your head you say, "I guess it was."
Silence returns as the both of you look forward. Just sitting there. Chiaki was clearly uncomfortable at this point. However, you did nothing in response to her obvious discomfort. Just sat there. Staring into the distance.
So Chiaki, wanting to remove the awkwardness, says, "Yeah…"
"Hm?" You ask.
"Um… I was answering your question. I am having a bad night." Chiaki says.
"Do you want to talk about it?" You ask, acting as if you care.
"No." Was her quick response.
"Fair enough. Do you mind if I sit here with you for a bit?" You ask.
"No, I don't mind…" Chiaki says.
The silence returns without any awkwardness as you two just sit there.
You let the silence linger a little longer, preferring to stare into the stars in the night sky. They were oddly radiant tonight, usually the light pollution of Tokyo makes them difficult to see. Though for whatever reason, in this moment, they were clearer than ever.
The light of the divine was shining upon you two.
With that realization you smile to yourself before asking Chiaki, "What a wondrous night sky… Beautiful isn't it?"
Chiaki stops staring blankly into the scenery ahead and turns her view to the skies, her eyes widened a bit as she gazes upon the stars. Her soft voice rings out as the two of you are caught up in stargazing, "It is… I've never seen so many stars out before…"
"I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said anything." She muttered under her breath.
"I am surprised it's so clear out tonight! Especially here… Though, it makes the activity of sitting on this bench with you just that much more enjoyable." You state.
"Yeah…" Chiaki says, absentmindedly nodding.
Then after a few seconds Chiaki says, "I probably ruined your night didn't I?"
"Hmm?" You ask, very confused.
"You were probably heading back to your dorm just to see me… Being Pathetic…" Chiaki starts, her words slow and voice quiet.
"I hate that…" Chiaki finished, rather oddly.
"What is that supposed to mean?" You ask.
Chiaki pulled her legs up onto the bench and she was now curled up into a ball. Her apathetic face showed the tinges of emotion with a small frown and tears pooling at her eyes. "I don't like the pity… I'm so tired of it… The past few months have been…" She began to say.
Chiaki then finished by saying, "No… I shouldn't bother you more than I already have…"
You had a bit of trouble parsing it, since to you it sounded like ramblings… At first anyway.
She thinks you came over here to comfort her or something. Which isn't necessarily wrong but it was not your intention at all. Not your true one anyway. So you found yourself compelled to say, "I can't come over and sit next to a prospective friend just because I want to-?"
"Just stop it… Please…" She pleaded.
You sigh to yourself before saying, "I'm being serious Chiaki. As one of my patients I take your feelings very seriously. If you don't want pity I will not give it to you. If you do not want to tell me something I won't pursue it. I'm over here because I thought the two of us could talk for a bit… Though I guess that has changed into stargazing…"
Silence comes back as Chiaki peeks at you from her position on the bench. You notice immediately but you continue to stare at the sky and enjoy the atmosphere. You eventually hear Chiaki say, "Sorry… I've just gotten so used to everyone treating me that way the past few months… I can tell you're being genuine though…"
Oh?
"You don't stare at me with concern… It's as if you don't care how I'm feeling at all… The stars seem so much more important in comparison don't they?" Chiaki explains.
You lean forward before giving her a glance and saying, "I wouldn't go that far. It's more like professional courtesy than the apathy you're describing."
"So you are concerned?" Chiaki asks.
"Should I be?" You respond in kind.
"No… I don't want anyone to be." Chiaki states.
You then say, "Alright then. To throw your words back at you, the stars seem so much more important in comparison to your worrying… Don't they?"
"Yeah…" Chiaki silently says with a smile as you two return to your stargazing.
You notice that Chiaki scooted just a bit closer to you after the exchange… However, despite the moment the stars had taken a sinister turn, for you at least. For Chiaki they were beautiful lights that were to be enjoyed from afar, but for you?
They were eyes. The light of the divines truly does shine on you… Don't they?
The judging eyes of those on high were getting to you… You could no longer bring yourself to stay and stare at the stars. Rising from your seat you got up to say goodbye to Chiaki only for you to catch her pulling on your sleeve as she asks, "You're leaving already?"
"It is a bit late…" You mention.
"Makes it better doesn't it?" She says, and you assume she's referring to stargazing.
"Of course, but I'm going to be very busy tomorrow so…" You try to reason.
Chiaki lets go of your sleeve as she says, "I understand…"
"But a few more minutes couldn't hurt?" She mentioned after a short delay.
Dammit, you can feel the eyes glaring into the back of your head. The judgmental eyes of what half of you once were. You had to escape it. However, you had little reason to fight back against Chiaki's request.
The fact she was not only attractive to you, but also interesting did not help make the decision any easier.
Oh woe is you.
"It's really late Chiaki, how about I make it up to you tomorrow. We'll do something just before classes start, that sound good?" You suggest.
Chiaki's immediate reaction was one of disappointment… It was a subtle change but you could make it out just fine. The way her lips pulled down ever so slightly, or how the eyebrows straightened out, or just by the tiny scooch closer you could tell she was upset at your response.
She must be really lonely if that is how she reacts to your suggestion.
However, you already had decided. Maybe you were a coward, but you just couldn't stand being under the stars at this time. So you try to reason with her, "Again it's late Chiaki… I'd be more than willing to pick this up when there's a bit of sunshine. However, right now the both of us should be heading to bed."
Chiaki's head lowered as she solemnly said, "I guess…"
Just as you're about to leave you hear Chiaki one last time say, "Hey…"
You turn to look at her with trepidation, feeling as if she was going to attempt to convince you to stay. You were pleasantly surprised to hear her instead say, "You promise right?"
Connecting the dots quite easily you assuage her concerns by saying, "Of course."
The last thing you see of Chiaki before you begin heading back to your dorm is Chiaki softly smiling while sitting upon the bench. In your head you damned yourself for being too much of a coward to stay for longer, you feel as though you could've gotten something tangible from this interaction.
Yet you smirk to yourself knowing that any potential loss from your actions prior will be made up for tenfold by tomorrow afternoon.
Maybe you'll get to see a whole new side of this gamer girl?
Arriving back at your dorm you find it eerily quiet. Though with your somewhat decent hearing you do make out the sound of flitting pages.
Walking to the main room you find Celeste reading a book completely silent as a corner lamp illuminated her in her nightgown. The only other light in the entire dorm that was on was a kitchen light, so it was quite dark.
"Akira…" Celeste welcomed you without even looking up from her book.
It has been biting you for a while now… So you said, "Celeste. I wanted to ask you something?"
Upon hearing an affirmative hum from Celeste you asked, "Did I upset you?"
That got Celeste to put down her book as she looked at you with a quirked brow and said, "What?"
"Well earlier you seemed in a bad mood and I was just wondering if I did something…" You explain.
Celeste looked at you like you had grown a second head for a moment before realizing what you meant and saying, "Oh… No, no… It wasn't anything important. My parents got me all worked up for no reason was all."
Bringing her right hand to her face she thinks for a moment before adding on to the previous statement with, "I will admit I was a tad bit annoyed to find those two girls here when I came back, but I apologize if I made you think you had angered me."
Feeling relieved you ask, "Your parents? What was it this time? They weren't asking for money were they?"
"Oh heavens no. My father would sooner shoot himself than ask for money from his daughter. That man almost cried himself into a stupor believing that I thought he was too old to take care of himself! All just because I offered my parents the ability to stay at the manor I bought!" Celeste brings up.
She then explains what actually happened, "No, they simply lost sight of my beloved cat and got worried over nothing."
"Didn't you hire a 'professional handler' to prevent exactly that?" You mentioned.
Celeste looked at you with a side eye before saying, "Yes I had. Until this evening they were gainfully employed."
A brief pause occurs as the two of you just stare at each other for a moment.
"They were a waste of money anyways…" She adds on to the previous statement.
"Are you sure you can trust your parents with your cat?" You ask.
Celeste groans and says, "No… But the person I hired was the only one willing to take a job in the middle of nowhere… I'll just have to have faith in them. Besides if anything were to happen I can just revoke their privilege to stay at my home. They can go back to living in a cramped apartment for all I care if it gets to that point."
Celeste's near psychotic love for her cat aside… You felt compelled to ask her something. But ultimately had nothing on your mind to ask her. So your mind rushed to come up with anything.
Yet before you could even actually come up with anything you began to speak, "Anyways, Celeste… I was thinking…"
"How about you put down that book of yours and we can do something together…" You finish, going entirely with the flow on what you wanted to say.
Celeste appears to be baffled at what you just said but a quick second later she is staring at you with lidded eyes as she gets up from her seat leaving her book behind. "Why yes that does sound more enjoyable right about now…" She says.
The both of you meet at the center of the room and immediately enter a mutual embrace as Celeste says, "We never really finished what we started earlier. I think now's as good a time as any."
You respond with, "I agree, but intimacy beyond sexual proclivities is healthy for a long term relationship don't you think?"
Celeste's response was, "Pfft! Considering what caused that moment I'd say that it was sexual."
"Perhaps it was born from arousal, but it was love. I think that's what's important. Regardless of the semantics, let us enjoy each other's company for real this time." You say with excitement as you pull off Celeste's nightgown.
Celeste lifts her arm to make it easier for you and as soon as the gown was removed Celeste kneeled down to say, "Yes, lets." Then without hesitation she pulled down your pants as you began removing your top.
By the time you had tossed your shirt to the side Celeste was already stirring your member awake with her own two hands. You looked down at your lover with appreciation as she got to work.
It didn't take you long to be fully erect and once you were Celeste was ready to do what she wanted to do hours ago. Placing her right hand on your thigh and her left in her pussy she began sucking you off with her mouth as she masturbated.
It was an effective sight. You could feel your skin flush as the two of you quickly got heated.
She was only bobbing herself up and down on the head of your dick for now, but damn did it feel good. It doesn't take you long to 'assist' Celeste by placing both of your hands on the back of her head before pulling her in.
You of course weren't going to force her to deepthroat you, but you didn't want any foreplay. You just wanted the pleasure.
Celeste doesn't fight back and just lets you do your thing. Though she does stop masturbating as she was now using both of her hands to keep herself from falling over.
Feeling yourself nearing climax you finally ask Celeste, "Are you ready to take it all in?"
Upon hearing an affirmative hum Celeste begins deepthroating you, with a bit of help on your part. It takes very little after that to cause you to cum and so cum you did. She ate up every bit of semen with minimal issue.
To see her so willing to do such a thing… Well… You don't even need to explain…
Yet prior to you saying or suggesting anything you find yourself falling over onto the floor as Celeste pounces you. You tried to get a word in but Celeste quickly gets on top of you and starts to rub your dick with her midriff.
You watch her as she pulls the strap of her underwear protecting her privates aside. She then stops rubbing you with her torso as she sits up and aligns herself to above your dick. Upon completing this task she descended upon you like a rabid animal.
Her fingers clawed into you as she used her hands to prevent herself from falling over while she lifted herself off your dick before descending once more with uncontrollable passion on repeat.
You're not even allowed a second to think!
Primal instincts forced you to take control of the situation back as you grabbed onto Celeste's arms and rolled both of you over forcing Celeste to be on the bottom and you on top. You begin to do as she was doing to you unto her.
Letting your lust drive you as you take your lover with exuberant force.
Celeste dug her fingers into you as she could not prevent herself from moaning as pleasure overtook her very form. The effort caused by the intermingling led to you letting out occasional exhales of lust as you continued to fuck Celeste into the floor.
Your lack of desire to hear the two of you moan so loudly leads to you taking one more thing of Celeste's by force as you lock lips with her. A French kiss is ensued by both parties as you feel Celeste orgasm below you.
She clinged onto the back of your head with her arms and your waist with her legs as her entire body shivered from the pleasure. The orgasm also led to you taking full control of the kiss between the two of you.
Seeing an opportunity with Celeste still wrapped around you leads to you standing up with your lover still fully embracing you with your member stuck deep inside her. You let go of the kiss as you continue to hop Celeste on your dick.
Unwilling to let you go Celeste's grip tightens as she pulls you into another kiss this time with her fighting for control instead of just letting you kiss her. As the two of you did so you took a few steps towards a chair as you felt yourself nearing climax.
Upon beating an exhausted Celeste in your two's quest for dominance via locking lips, you threw her down onto the nearest chair as you thrust all the way into her one more time as you came.
You were forced to stand there for a bit as Celeste's legs were still firmly wrapped around you even after you came a minute prior. At the very least Celeste was thoroughly creampied right now.
Sadly she didn't seem entirely cognizant at the moment…
Since she wasn't going to let go you any time soon… You wrapped your arms under her own and lifted her as you began walking towards the bedroom. Tonight was going to be a long night.
A very long night.
Not that you mind, of course.
