They learn from the lab's computer logs that she was quickly recovered from the wreckage of her house and placed in suspended animation while she was studied by scientists hoping to discover the origin of her telekinetic powers.
Gemini has his minions transport the girl to his fortress where he gets to work installing a microchip inside her head, enabling him to control her mind and use her to subjugate all who oppose him.
