After the exhausting battle with the other me, I ended up in the sick bay. This was due to the combination of me suddenly feeling weak coupled with Jimmy being worried that I was bleeding internally. As I laid on the bed, Gary and AJ sat next to me. It did make me happy to see two of my best friends sitting by my side. Jimmy was in the room too, though he was looking for something. As he searched, Cindy came in with Tootie close behind. Cindy walked over to Jimmy and joined him in searching for what he was looking for.

Tootie walked over to the end of my bed and said "Timmy, how are you feeling?"

"Not great, but I could be worse." I said.

"I heard you and Gary fought that old man version of yourself." she said.

"We did, and he wasn't quite as old as before. Jorgen's put him in our jail." Gary said. I was starting to wonder what Jimmy was searching for. Okay, I was wondering that since he started.

But it was at that moment that I said "Jimmy, what are you looking for?"

"Remember those nano-bots that saved Tootie?" Jimmy said.

"Yeah." I said

"That's what I'm looking for. Trouble is, I don't see them." he said. Just when I thought there were enough guests, Cosmo and Wanda came in. It was clear that they were both on the verge of tears.

They floated over to me, where Wanda said "Oh sport." It didn't take long for her to start crying. Jorgen came in, causing both Cosmo and Wanda to look at him. Wanda's mood changed from sad to angry as she simply said "This is your fault!"

"How is this my fault?" Jorgen said.

"I asked if you thought it was a good idea to get Timmy involved, and you said it was." she said, starting a back-and-forth argument between her and Jorgen. Jimmy and Cindy were also fighting, about where the nano-bots were. Even Gary and AJ were fighting about how Gary should have helped me more with the fight. Cosmo and Tootie were just standing there, both uncomfortable and unsure about what to do. As for me, I wasn't dying, but I was in pain. So, I whistled as loud as I could, getting everyone's attention.

I then said "Let's get something straight. I may be younger than most of you, but that doesn't change who's the captain of this ship." I looked at each person as I said "Cindy, let Jimmy search by himself. Wanda, don't blame Jorgen. I didn't know what exactly I was up against, but I knew it was dangerous. And AJ, Gary helped me in every way he could." I went back to generally staring as I said "And please, try not to murder each other." They all listened to me and did what I asked. Cindy left the room so Jimmy could continue searching, Wanda went over to Cosmo, and AJ stopped fighting with Gary.

Good thing too, since that's when Jimmy yelled "Found them." He then pulled a needle out of his hypercube and walked over to me. He looked at me and said "Captain, this is going to sting." right before jabbing me in the stomach. Because I guess I hadn't been hit there enough times. He injected the nano-bots, and I could feel them as they worked. It was a weird feeling, like that pins and needles feeling, but way stronger.

AJ walked over to Jimmy and asked "How long will it take for him to recover?"

"Five minutes at most. The nano-bots work fast, so maybe less than a minute." Jimmy said. I noticed that Gary was deep in thought.

He then said "Hey Wanda, I wanna know something."

Wanda responded with "What do you want to know?"

"Why is it that whenever I should be hurt, I'm not?" he said.

"I think it's because you come from Timmy, only he has an effect on you." she said.

"Does that mean I can't die while he's alive?" he said.

"I guess it does. Why did you ask?" she said.

"No reason. I'll be right back." he said, before walking out of the room. I had a feeling he was going to do something reckless and stupid. So, against my better judgement, I was going to follow him. But Jimmy saw me try to get up and stopped me.

After, he said to Tootie "Please follow Gary to see what he does. The moment he tries to do something stupid, stop him." Tootie did not hesitate, leaving the room to catch up with Gary. While she walked out, I could still feel the nano-bots inside of me, floating around my body.

So, I said "How will I know when the nano-bots are done?"

"When that strong tingling goes away." he said.

"Good to know." I said as the nano-bots started working overtime.

As the nano-bots did their magic, Jimmy said "Timmy, I really hope we don't run into the real Nega Timmy at Castle Darkness."

"I doubt we will." I said through gritted teeth. Not because of what he said, but because of the nano-bots.

"And do me a favor, stop making evil clones of yourself." he said. Was he ever going to let that go? "You know, your encounter with your imposter made me realize something. I think it's time we all get uniforms."

"Uniforms, why?" I said.

He said "Because we shouldn't do this job in our regular clothes. They could tear easily, as shown by what's left of your shirt." Of course, he pointed out my torn shirt. He continued with "We need as much protection as possible. Only problem is that I have no design ideas." But I knew someone who did. Tootie had created something for her Timmy doll. I knew she also had a thing for sewing, all Jimmy had to do was work with her.

So, I said "Talk to Tootie. She has a suit design she could show you."

"That's great. I'll talk to her when she gets back." he said. Funny that he said that, because Tootie came running back into the sick bay.

As she caught her breath, she said "Timmy, there's a fight in the ship's jail."

"How?" I said, before quickly realizing how. I realized that Gary had plans involving the other me, and I had the vague idea that he had done something to Eustace. I had to stop Gary before he did something stupid and died. Coincidentally, the nano-bots seemed to have finished their job. In fact, I felt incredible. Not all powerful, but very strong. I got out of bed and ran as fast as I could to our jail. When I got there, I saw that Gary was in the cell with the other me. I could also see that Gary was holding the other me by his collar.

As I watched from a distance, I heard Gary say "How about a little sky diving without the parachutes?"

Other me then said "If we do that, you could die."

"Do I look like I care?" Gary said, before dragging the other me out of the cell.

I wanted Gary to stop, so I said "Gary, stop."

Gary looked back at me and said "I'm sorry Tim, but justice needs to be done." He then started walking with the other me again, so I followed them.

"But not like this. Gary, I lost you once already. I won't lose you again." I said. Gary stopped and looked at me again.

He then said "Tim, I'm throwing this faker off the ship, not going with him."

"That's what you think." the other me said before dragging Gary with him to the back door. Other me opened the door and said "Any last words Gary?"

"Goodbye twerp, you won't be missed." Gary said.

"Neither will you, loser." the other me said before he jumped off the ship with Gary. I ran over to the door, expecting to see Gary and the other me falling to their deaths. Instead, I saw Gary hanging onto the door, and the other me hanging on to him.

Gary looked up at me and said "Tim, please, help me!" As I tried to pull him up, the other me started climbing up Gary. Other me then slammed his fist onto my hand, causing me to let go. Gary and fake me then fell. I didn't know what to do, but I had to do something. Before I could do anything stupid, Jimmy came over to me.

He then said "Timmy, when you reach Gary, use these." as she handed me a pair of rocket boots. Before I could ask any questions, he said "All you have to do is click your heels to turn them on." I wasn't going to entertain the possibility of Gary dying, so I put the rocket boots on. To my surprise, they fit pretty well. I wasn't sure how Jimmy was able to make them so fast, but that really wasn't important at that moment. I walked to the edge of the open door, causing Tootie to come over and say "What are you doing?"

"Saving my friend." I said, before jumping right off the ship. It didn't take long for me to catch up to them. I was just able to grab Gary and get the imposter's grip on him loose. So, other me plummeted to his death while I carried Gary back to the ship. When we got back on the ship, Gary hugged me tightly.

He then said "Thank you Tim, I thought I was a goner."

"You're welcome." I said.

Jorgen came over and said "Is everyone all right?"

"Yeah, we're fine." Gary said. "Though I can't say the sane for old man Tim."

"Don't worry, he's been caught." Jorgen said.

"How?" I said.

"Transport ship picked him up as he fell through the sky." he said.

"Wow, how convenient." Gary said. And you know something, he was right. But this was a convenience I could live with.

So much so, I said "I'm going to my room now. As you can see, I need a new shirt." I went back to my room, threw on a fresh shirt, then laid on my bed. I had plans to take a nap, which got interrupted when my door opened. I looked and saw Tootie standing there.

She said "Timmy, are you feeling better?"

I sat up and said "Yes, I'm feeling a lot better. I should thank Jimmy for saving me." I said.

"Yeah, he really is a live saver." she said as she entered the room and the door shut behind her.

As she sat down next to me, I said "So, did Jorgen say where that transport ship is taking the faker."

"Yeah. He said it was someplace called Abracatraz." she said.

"Good. Maybe they'll be able to remove whatever magic Father Darkness used on him." I said.

"That would be nice." she said. There was this moment where we locked eyes. I wanted to kiss her.

But before I could, Jimmy came in and said "Timmy, Tootie, I'd like to call a meeting."

"Okay, you go do that." I said.

"Will do." he said before he left.

Tootie looked at me and said "What do you think his meeting is about?"

"My guess, he wants to talk about uniforms." I said.

"Uniforms? Why?" she said.

Before I could answer, Jimmy came back in and said "Actually, Tootie, can I talk to you for a moment?"

"Yeah, sure." she said before leaving the room to talk to her. After a little time had passed, I decided to lay back in bed again.

But then over the intercom, Jimmy said "Everyone report to the bridge." What was I going to do, say no? I mean, I could have, he just wouldn't have heard me. So, I reported to the bridge like the rest of the crew. Once we all were there, he said "This won't take long. I called you here because we need uniforms. Not so we look the same, but as a form of protection. Tootie has made a design. All I need are your measurements."

"And how do you expect to get those?" Gary said.

"I made a machine that can get people's exact measurements. You just step in, and you get measured. Your uniform is then made." Jimmy said.

"What possessed you to make that?" Gary said.

"Not every tailor likes measuring the inner leg, and not every tailor is accurate. Plus, it's faster with my machine." Jimmy said.

"Fine. But I don't want a uniform." Gary said.

"Why?" Jimmy said. I really hoped Gary wouldn't say what I knew he was going to say.

But he said "They're not cool."

"I'm sorry, what does being cool have to do with anything?" Jimmy said.

"Because if we fail and the universe ends, I don't wanna die looking like a dork." Gary said.

Not wanting them to fight all day, I said "Jimmy, it's fine. Gary doesn't have to wear a uniform if he doesn't want to."

Tootie then said "Maybe if he saw the design, he'd change his mind?" I expected Gary to flat out say no.

Instead, he said "I doubt it, but sure Tootie, show me the design?" That's when she pulled up a sketch of the uniform. It was similar to the one on her Timmy doll. An all-white jumpsuit with a separate helmet with a visor. There were also the two stripes on the back. As Gary looked, he said "What's with the stripes?"

"I figured it would be a great way to use the colors of our regular clothes." she said.

"Oh, okay." he said. As we both looked, I noticed some changes. Mainly, the belt was now white, and there were gloves and boots included. On top of that, there were holsters for laser guns. It looked incredible.

So incredible, in fact, that Gary said "Okay, I'll wear the uniform." I was so relieved that Gary put aside his ego and decided to wear our new uniform. I'm not sure I thought those exact words at the time, but I certainly felt that way. With that brief dilemma out of the way, we went to Jimmy's room and got measured. Funny enough, despite his complaining, Gary was the first one to get measured. One by one, each member got their uniform. When I walked in, Jimmy told me to step into the machine. Picture a standing x-ray machine, with no radiation. Inside the machine, a series of nano-bots covered my whole body. They didn't block any airways though, so I could still breathe. After a few seconds, the nano-bots went back into the machine, and I stepped out. That's where Jimmy handed me not only my uniform, but Gary's as well. I knew it was Gary's because Jimmy said "Give this to Gary please."

Confused, I asked "Why didn't you give it to him?"

"I wanted to conduct an experiment, and the results are that you both have the exact same measurements. Same face too. In fact, he's basically your clone. The only difference is your hair color." he said.

"If you say so." I said. I put my uniform in my room, then went over to Gary's room to give him his. Before I could knock on his door, Gary opened it. He stood there, wrapped in towel after he had clearly taken a shower. Without his trademark sunglasses, I could see that Jimmy was absolutely right. It was like looking in a mirror, if I took a shower wearing an Elvis wig.

He looked at me and said "Please move Tim, I've got somewhere to be."

"Is it to get your uniform from Jimmy?" I said as I presented his uniform.

He took it from me and said "Yeah. Why did he have you deliver it?" God, what was I going to tell him? He wanted to confirm we had the exact same body. That wouldn't sound weird, right? But I couldn't think of anything else.

"Because he wanted to confirm his theory that we had the same measurements, which we do." I said.

"So, my uniform got delayed because Neutron wanted to prove a random theory?" he said.

"Yeah. He also said we had the same face." I said.

"Well, he should get his eyes checked. We don't have the same face." he said.

"No, he's right. I'll show you." I said. Before he could respond, I dragged him with me into his bathroom. I then put us side by side in front of the mirror and said "Look at me, then look at you. Same eyes, same nose, same mouth, same teeth, same jaw, you get the picture?" He did a lot of looking before it finally clicked. There was a look of slight disappointment.

"Aw man, I'm ugly." he said. For a split second, I thought he was serious. But I quickly realized he was trying to mess with me.

So, my response was "At least you've accepted I'm the handsome one."

"Oh, no, that's still me." he responded. He took another look in the mirror and said "I still can't believe my eyes." he said.

"Me neither man." I said. I was going to leave so I could try my uniform on.

But before I could leave, Gary said "Hey, I just had a funny idea."

"What is it?" I said.

"Do you think I could convince someone I'm you?" he said. I almost said yes. But then I remembered the other me that nearly killed us. Gary seemed to remember too, saying "On second thought, we should save that for another time."

"Yeah, good idea." I said. I then went to my room and finally put on my uniform. As expected, it was a perfect fit. It looked cool too, especially with the white with the pink and blue stripe on the back. The separate helmet was also cool, since I could remove it if I needed to. The addition of the holster was a great and practical. There was only one thing left to do, and that was call another meeting. Don't worry, it was just Jorgen, Jimmy, and me. They were wearing their uniforms by the way.

Plus, I'll give you the abridged version. The three of us went over our big plan, which involved breaking into Father Darkness's castle through the top. The ship would then land itself in the garden. We would then carry the Fairy Nesting Safe down each level of the castle until we reached the trophy room. Jorgen asked that we all carry it because the safe was hard for him to carry. We had to carry it in just in case Father Darkness decided to sneak onto our ship. Once all that planning was done, I decided to see how Tootie was doing. Mostly because I wanted to share one last peaceful moment with her before we started the final part of our adventure.

I entered her room, seeing that she was wearing her uniform. I quietly sat next to her and said "Hey, how are you feeling?"

"Nervous, as always." she said.

"Me too." I said, which was the honest truth. I wasn't sure our plan was going to work. I was starting to miss the days when the worst thing I had to worry about was getting ripped off by Tom Sawyer.

"Really? I thought this would be the scariest thing you've ever dealt with." she said.

"It's up there. But not the scariest." I said.

"Oh yeah, what's the scariest thing you've ever dealt with?" she said. You'd think it would have been the Fairy/Pixie war, but that wasn't it.

I told her "The one time I had to run home naked."

"After you were pushed off the world's tallest diving board?" she said. I couldn't believe that she remembered that too.

"No, I had extra swim-trunks." I said.

"Then what are you talking about?" she said.

"Okay, I'll try to make this short. I was taking a bath, and the comic I was reading got wet. When I wished for a new comic, I was taken to the comic store… still naked. It was horrible, partly because people thought I was Naked Lad." I said.

"The comic book character?" she said.

"Yeah. That wasn't even the worst part. There was the Dimmsdale Museum, where a group of kids a field to the solar system display got something that they never expected, me naked. To this day, it was the scariest thing I've ever been through. It was also the most embarrassing moment of my life." I said. Yes, even my brief musical career as Timmy Triangle wasn't as embarrassing.

"That sounds awful. Did you make it home?" she said.

"Oh yeah, and just in time for my parents to kick me out so they could use the bathroom. Something about eating Laxative-O's I think." I said. My parents everybody, eating a big bowl of laxative based cereal for fun.

"I think I'm starting to get why you have fairies." she said.

"Glad I'm not the only one." I said. I wanted to talk to her more, but I couldn't.

That's because Jimmy came in and said "Captain, Tootie, we have arrived at Castle Darkness."

"Great." I said. Jimmy left the room, leaving me and Tootie alone again.

I had a feeling Jorgen didn't want to waste time, so I said "Let's go." After I shot Remy a quick text, we went to the back door, where we were joined by the rest of the team. As soon as I arrived, I saw that everyone was wearing their uniforms. Well, everyone but Goddard. Granted, he didn't need one, because he was a strong robot dog.

When I reached the door, Gary came over and said "Hey, I wanna give you something." He then handed me his switchblade.

"Gary, why are you giving me your switchblade?" I said.

"Because I don't need it. I figured since we're friends, you could have it instead." he said. I thanked him, and he stepped back.

I looked back at the door and said "Okay team, let's do this." The door opened, and I saw that we were hovering over the castle like we planned. The only thing we had to do was jump.
