Before you read this, let me make a note of saying this is my first fanfic. I've been thinking about adding my own OCs to stories like Amphibia and the Owl House for a while, but I could never find enough time.

A lot of inspiration for my own sibling UA Owl House story was taken from others like Learning How to Be a Witch by Angelxoxo8, The Elemental Mage of the Isles by Kitsune98469, The Owl Coven stories by Autonomous Ultra Instinct, Loyalty & Light by BlehBluhBlah, and Owl House: Mechanical Witch by waterdragonslayer625. Also, some of my OCs' jokes and sass on some characters' expense are from Dewey10's OC, Luke Noceda, same with said character's shows of ferocity along with Luz in Luz Noceda, the Fighter by Jss2141. If you're unfamiliar with any of these, feel free to look them up and some of the writers' other work when you have the chance.

What's more, today is the anniversary of the first Owl House episode showing, and I thought I'd show my appreciation for Dana Terrace and her crew for an amazing show by trying my hand at a fanfic. But I wanted to start small, and figured what better way than with the story's pilot episode. So, without further ado, I hope you enjoy.

A blue-haired woman wearing a witch's outfit and holding a staff backflips onto a cliff before she grits her teeth and glares up at a large purple snake. "Foolish child! I could swallow you whole!" The giant snake threatened her as he hissed.

"Do not underestimate me, Gildersnake, for I am Princess Azura, warrior of peace!" The witch now known as Azura declared as the wind blew her hair. She then kneeled on one knee and held her staff like a bazooka. "Now eat this, sucka!" Azura fired fireballs from her staff at the Gildersnake.

"No! My only weakness! Dying!" The Gildersnake shouted as he was being shot by magic blasts.

It turns out to be a reenactment with a doll of Azura and a green snake being held by a young teenage girl who is mimicking the sound of them fighting with her voice. She was Dominican-American with tan skin, brown hair styled in a pixie cut, and hazel-brown eyes. For her clothes, she wore a purple and white striped shirt, dark blue leggings, and white slip on shoes. Her name is Luz. She was currently giving a presentation to her class, but it was not going well, given the teacher's palm in his face, and some of the students looked bored.

"And just when you think the princess has won, the Gildersnake gets the upper hand." She brings the doll closer to the snake, "Go on, eat the little girl. Yeah, there you go." She helps the snake eat the doll's head, which makes the rest of the class cry in disgust. "And this is the part where Azura explodes out of the snake's stomach." This actually got the teacher's attention.

Not wanting to hear more or have the whole class witness the last part, he puts a stop to her presentation by stepping in front of Luz. "Nope, shutting it down." Then he turns to her in exasperation, "Luz, what are you doing?"

"I'm giving my book report." She answered.

"This is geometry class." He deadpanned at her.

The class laughs mockingly at Luz who gives an embarrassed blush as she returns to her seat, where she kept her head down.

In the seat next to her, another girl with a stack of books and papers was trying to study, but couldn't focus with everyone laughing. "Would you all just leave her alone?!" She shouted at the whole class and they all shut up after a collective gasp for a moment.

"Amity's mad at us!" One student cried her eyes out.

"Everyone is so noisy here." Amity goes back to her studies. As Luz's eyes shined, the snake retched up the doll's head in her hair.

The school bell rings, and Luz is in the hallway letting the snake out of a window and into the grass with the doll's body. "Enjoy your dinner, snake friend. You deserved it." As she pockets the doll's head and turns from the window, two students jump out and scream, scaring Luz.

Luz then glares at the two students laughing at her. "Nice presentation," The girl sarcastically complimented.

"Hey weirdo, keep living in your fantasy world." The boy added.

As they are about to walk by Luz, she sticks her tongue out at them, but then all three become surprised when the two are suddenly knocked onto the ground by a punch from someone. They looked up to see it was Luz's big brother and sister. The two of them, like Luz, were Dominican-American and had the same tan skin and eyes as their sister. They even had the same hairstyle as her, save for the sister having hair strands on both sides of her face that reached under her chin, and the boy's was spikier and under a burgundy colored beanie.

Her brother, Luis, wore a dark blue short sleeve overshirt with a hood, a black shirt with a white wolf design underneath, dark maroon cargo trousers, and gray sneakers along with a skateboard hooked to the back of his backpack. The older sister, Lucia, was wearing a grassy green shirt with long sleeves colored dark red and going around her collar, a gray denim vest, blue jeans, small black hoop earrings, and black vans with white soles.

"Yo, I know you two aren't messing with our kid sister." Lucia dared them as the boy laughed sheepishly.

"Nah, Lucia, we were just playing around, that's all." They got up and the boy was sweating, but the girl just dusted her blouse.

"Yeah, but it's not all our fault. She just makes it so easy," She then gave a condescending look at Luz who glares, "As a matter of fact, it's hard to believe that a loser like her is related to two of the coolest kids in school." She spoke up much to Luz's offense before placing a hand under Luis's chin to flirt with him, "Especially, when one of them is so smart, handsome, and—" She was interrupted by Luis crushing her wrist. "Ow! Strong! So strong!"

Luis bent down a little as she got on her knees, "I'm only gonna say this once. If you want to keep your limbs attached where they are, walk away now, and stay away from my little sister. Understand?" He threatened, "Nod if you understand."

The girl gulped in fear as she did as instructed, "Sure… A-Anything for you and Lucia, Luis."

"Good. Now get lost," Luis lets go of her wrist, and they walk away as the girl holds her wrist. "Some people, I tell ya. You okay, Luz?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Luz said with a sad smile, "Thanks for that."

"We heard what happened in class." Lucia told her sympathetically as Luz turned to open her locker, "Sorry. But at least Amity stood up for you. That's something."

"Yeah, I guess." Luz started jimmying the lock on her locker.

"Luz, I'm glad that you're sharing your fantasy life with everyone, but don't you think you're taking it a little too far?" Lucia asked her with a raised brow.

"No, I am not." Her locker wouldn't open, so she used a bobby pin, "So I goofed up. Doesn't mean I'm living in a fantasy world."

"Oh, really?" Her big brother crossed his arms.

When Luz opened her locker, Luis's question was answered by the various fantasy-themed decorations and media inside. Even the mirror inside had pointed ears and a tiara drawn on it. "…This doesn't prove anything?" Her siblings deadpanned, glancing at each other before turning back to Luz. In the reflection, they notice Amity passing by behind them. "Amity! Uh, w-wait up!" Luz closes her locker and rushes after the girl leaving her siblings.

Everyone in the hallway was admiring her as she walked past them without giving them any attention. Even a girl pushed herself onto the lockers to get out of Amity's way as she said hello to her.

Suddenly, Luz popped up in front of Amity, "Friend!" Amity gets startled and she trips and falls to the ground in a state of confusion.

"Uh…" Amity was then lifted up by her arms by Luis and Lucia.

"Sorry about Eager McBeaver here." Lucia apologized as they stood her on her feet, "She just gets a little too excited every now and then.

"You can't blame me." Luz said as they should know her school life by now. "Not counting you two, no one's ever stood up for me before."

"I... uh…" Amity still has no idea what to say here, but becomes surprised when Luz brings up an artistic drawing of her and Amity with 'THaNKS PaL!' written at the top.

"I made you this gift. I got a paper cut while drawing, so I-I incorporated it into the picture," She refers to the red on Amity's face to make it look like she's blushing.

"Oh, my gosh." Amity said with a disturbed expression and tone, "That is so beautiful. Thank you." She takes it as she was acting very suspicious, "What a shame our friendship has to start and end so soon."

Luz looked confused, but Luis puts it at ease, "Oh, I guess you don't know. See, Amity here is an exchange student and she's from someplace really far away. No one is exactly certain where."

"Oh." Luz nodded in confirmation, but then grew confused at her brother, "Wait, how do you know that?"

"It pays to have connections." He stated proudly, "You know my boy Deven has his methods.

"Uh…well…" Amity stuttered, but went on, "To answer your question, yes I am an exchange student, and today I'm returning home."

"Oh, uh, well, um, I'm not so great at goodbyes, so, uh..." Luz boops Amity on the nose, "Boop." She lets out a nervous chuckle as her siblings and Amity deadpan at her.

"Let's just pretend that never happened." Amity told her in a dry tone.

"Yeah, okay." Amity walks past them as Luz waves goodbye. "Safe travels, buddy."

"You know, you could've just said 'safe travels' to her without booping her on the nose." Lucia told her kid sis.

"I told you that I'm not good at goodbyes, much less other social situations." Luz retorted, "It's not like I can just introduce myself to others and ask if they want to be friends." She said in slight frustration.

"Actually, you can, like the rest of the world." Luis pointed out with a raised eyebrow.

"No," She points at the two of them. "You two can, like the rest of the world." She looks down depressed, and notices something on the floor, "Amity's passport?" She picked it up in curiosity and a thought came to her. "She probably needs this. She'll be so happy to get it back." Luz runs with her brother and sister behind her, "Amity, wait up!"

The three rush outside the school, where they see Amity boarding the bus, and it drives away just as Luz runs out. "Hey, stop!" She runs after the bus, leaving her brother and sister behind. "Aah, no-no-no-no-no!"

"Yeah, we should go after her," Lucia asked in a dry tone.

"Let's give her a couple of minutes," Luis suggested. "After which, we'll go find her," He looked at Lucia with his hands behind his head. "After all, she's just giving someone back their passport. How much trouble could that be?" She shrugs at the question.

Later at a house within a wooded area, with a "For Sale" sign in front, the bus drops Amity off before driving away as she approaches the front door. She gives out a sigh of relief, "Finally going home—real home." Amity takes a key out of her pocket and unlocks the front door to walk through, but she doesn't close it all the way.

Luz then arrives at the house, exhausted from running, "Amity! Wait up... I have your passport…" Just then, her siblings arrive riding on Luis's skateboard from behind her. "You…couldn't have…offered…me a lift?" She asked between breaths.

"We could've, but we wanted to see how far you'd get without our help," Luis answered her as Lucia nodded. "And it's important to get a little cardio in. Some need it more than others."

"Sometimes… I really… hate you two." Luz said, regaining her breath.

"We know you mean 'love.'" Lucia teases her before getting serious, "Now, don't you have a passport to deliver?" The three of them make their way to the porch and walk through the front door, slamming it shut behind them. But the key that was still in its keyhole suddenly bursts into flames and disappears.

Luz, Luis, and Lucia are running out the doorway, shielding their eyes, "Hello! Hello?" Once the trio opens their eyes, they are shocked to see where they are.

"What the heck?!" Luis exclaimed as they looked down the cliff in the clearly otherworldly town, and saw several of its demon residents going about their daily lives.

"You see this too right?" Luz whispered to her brother and sister. "I haven't finally gone crazy?"

"No, you're not crazy." Lucia assured before thinking about it for a moment, "…As far as we're concerned." Luz deadpanned at the joke.

"If we're all seeing this, then it falls under one of two possibilities." Luis turns to his sisters looking serious, "Either A, we've all somehow entered the same dream, or B, we've actstumbled into some demonic realm."

Suddenly, several portal doors rise up from the ground behind them and open. Among distant rumbling, they looked behind them and screamed as a crowd of demons swarmed past them through the doors. Once all the demons are through, the doors slam shut before disappearing.

"W-Wait, what's going on?" Luz really wanted answers to help make sense of all this. She then looked behind her to see Luis and Lucia pinching each other's cheeks. "And what are you guys doing?"

"Ow!" Both of them let go of their faces.

"Just checking to see if one of my theories are correct." Luis answered as they rubbed their cheeks. "Okay, so the same dream scenario is out. And if we really are in some demonic realm, that has to mean Amity must come from here."

"I guess that would explain why no one knows where she actually came from." Lucia pondered as a little demon wearing a helmet flew next to them.

"Hello!" His sudden appearance startled Luz, "Welcome to the Boiling Isles. Did you enjoy your dimensional travel?"

"Dimensional travel?" Luz was really confused, and her brother groaned.

"Did you not hear me when I said we've entered a demon realm?" He facepalm himself. Then the small winged guard gestures to three signs, which variously read 'Welcome to the Boiling Isles,' 'Don't Mention Our Dimension!' and 'No Humans.' The last one made Luz groan in fear, "But I think understanding how we got here is the least of our worries, sis." Her older siblings were equally concerned.

"I'll just need your passports." The small demon said politely.

"Passports?" Luz asked as she pulled out Amity's. The guard grabs it, but Luz quickly pulls it away from his grasp. "No, wait! That's not mine."

"It's not?" The demon grew suspicious, and sniffs at them, "Wait, are you humans? Did you steal that passport?" Luz wasn't sure if she should answer that, and she and her siblings back away as the winged guard manifests a large battle ax. "Because our emperor doesn't like humans."

"Well," Luz begins to sweat as her voice cracks, "Good thing we're not one of those. What do those things even look like?" Luz leans against a sign. She sees her brother and sister facepalm themselves again as they point to the sign she was leaning on, and when she looks at it, it reads 'How to Spot A Human' with the figure matching the pose she's doing. "Oh, boy."

"Okay, so you found us out," Luis steps forward and addresses the demon guard, "We're humans. What are you gonna do about it, attack us?" His taunt made Luz even more worried.

"Why'd he say that?"

Arrows are shot at him, but he dodges them and they hit the sign behind him as his sisters got out of the way. "Sorry about this, little guy." Luis charges through the arrows as he dodges them, and jumps to deliver a kick towards the guards chin. As Luis flipped backwards, the guard fell on his back as his ax was spinning in the air. And lands with a crouch and smirks, "I'm awesome."

As he stays in his crouch pose, the guard's battle ax comes falling down and cleaves the sign down the middle, making Luz scream.

"Bail out!" Lucia shouted as they all ran away. The guard transforms into a larger, more imposing form, and gives chase to them.

"You know, you could've done that earlier and saved yourself from getting knocked out." Luis said tauntingly to the guard.

"Less talking, more running!" His sisters shouted.

As they ran, Luz tripped on the first flight of stairs and her siblings jumped down. After running down the second flight, they rushed through the market with the guard still after them. They managed to lose their pursuer by hiding behind a street corner as he continued to run forward. With the coast clear, they snuck down the other path.

"Amity!" Luz calls out, "Are you here too? I hope she's okay." While not watching where she was going she bumps into someone at a vendor stand. "Sorry, I…" Luz realizes that the vendor she bumped into is a demon, and runs off while crying. The vendor then looks at the two older ones.

"Sorry, about her." Lucia apologized in a polite tone to the vendor, "She gets nervous real easily. And we're helping her look for someone."

"Eh, it's fine." The vendor shrugged before taking out a sample, "Homemade soaps?"

Intrigued, Luis takes a sniff at it, "Mm. Smells good." He compliments, "Peppermint?"

"With a little bit of cinnamon," They informed him.

"Nice," Before he could go on, Lucia pulled him by the hood.

"Wish we could purchase one, but we have to find our sister." The two of them then went in the same direction as their sister, waving goodbye to the vendor. "See you around."

"So long."

Luz continued running, until she was startled by a voice from the distance. "Human!" Luz screams and dives to the ground as her siblings finally caught up to her.

"What's up, Luz?" Lucia asks when she saw Luz hit the floor. "Something wrong?"

Luz gets up covered in trash and a fairy falls off her head, "Sorry. I thought I heard someone say…"

"Human Antiques!" That same voice could be heard again. Curious, they approached its source and it was at a stand run by a middle aged woman wearing a headscarf. Her stand was branded "Human Collectables" and she was ringing a bell and shouting to attract customers. "Come and get your rare and valuable human antiques!"

"Oh, what fresh heck is this?" Luis asked, feeling a mixture of disturbance and curiosity.

"I have journeyed to the darkest corners of the forbidden world to bring back their most twisted and disgusting artifacts, like this!" She holds up a fedora to her audience, who all gasp.

After a moment of silence, one crowd member finally called out, "Lame."

With everyone being unimpressed, the crowd departs from her stall, "Why did I even come here?"

One person groaned while another said, "No thanks. Terrible."

With everyone gone and the woman standing with an irritated look on her face. She then notices the siblings, "What are you three starin' at?"

"Someone who has zero sense of style, and clearly hasn't heard of a barber." Lucia quips as the woman rummages through one of her boxes.

"Hardy-har." She didn't bother looking back at them, "Did you stay behind to make fun of me?"

"Kinda." Lucia shrugged, but Luz lightly nudged her arm.

"Sorry about her." She spoke up, "It is just so nice to see another human around here."

She removed her headscarf and revealed pointed ears, "I'm sorry, what did you call me?" They stared in disbelief as they saw the pointed ears.

"Never mind." They make their leave, but the lady grabs Lucia by the wrist.

"Wait a minute-!" Lucia grabs the lady's arm and shoulder-throws her to the ground on her back on the other side of the table. "Ow!"

"Sorry 'bout that. Reflex," She looked down at her, "But we've seen a lot of freaks here. And we don't plan to make it easy for them to hurt us."

"Hurt you?" The woman got up and walked back behind her stand, "Now why would I want to hurt three potential customers?" She asked gleefully as she brought out a yellow croc. "Can I offer you a human foot filled with holes?" She grabs a stick of deodorant. "A bar of green human candy? Oh, and how about this black shadow box that reflects only sadness?" She holds a portable TV up to their faces.

The three of them looked at each other and laughed because this woman was clearly no threat to them. "It can do a lot more than that. Here, let me take a look at it." Lucia takes the TV and grabs two batteries from a dish that was trying to pass them off as human candy. "Just so you know, these things aren't candy." She puts the batteries in and presses the power button. A jazzercise video starts playing with loud music, grabbing the attention of customers and vendors stop at the noise.

"What's that?" One creature asked.

"The sound, it's so alluring." Another walked towards its source.

"It's over there."

Several creatures are now crowded around the TV, and one held up some money. "I'll pay forty snails for the screaming box!"

"I'll pay a hundred!" Another screamed.

"Can I eat the tiny people inside?"

Soon the whole crowd starts bidding, and the woman couldn't help but be impressed. "So that's what that thing does." She looks at the kids. "Y'know, that was pretty clever... for a human."

"Well, you know, that's my sister for you." She nudged said girl's arm playfully, but she thought of something, "Wait. You're not gonna, like, eat us, are you?"

"Well, not unless you want me to." She joked while taking the cash. "But I don't murder for cheap. Name's Eda." She held out her hand to the trio.

"Call me Lucia." Lucia smirked at the woman now known as Eda.

"Name's Luis." He introduced himself with his hands in his pockets.

"And I'm Luz." She attempts to shake her hand, "But you can call us Triple L," Just then, the guard from earlier hoists her up by her backpack.

"You're dead!" His presence made everyone in the crowd scatter.

"A guard!"

"Run!"

"Let's get out of here!"

The guard then addresses Eda, "And do you have a permit for this stand, Owl Lady?"

"Yes, well, about that…" Eda reaches under her stand, and comes out with her staff about to hit the guard, but…

"Look, buddy," Luis taps his shoulder to get his attention. "I know you're upset because we entered illegally, and that I knocked you flying on your back," Eda's eyes widened after hearing that, "But let's be grown ups about this. Just set my sister down, and we'll go."

"Not happening, kid," He grabs the boy by his hood, "But you're right about one thing. I owe you three for earlier."

"Okay, let me rephrase that for you," He looks at the guard more seriously. "Let the three of us go, or else."

The guard chuckled thinking it was an empty threat. "What are you gonna do?"

"Not just me," Luis smirks. "I think you forgot that there's three of us. Because wouldn't an extra arm be oh so handy for you right about now?"

The guard was confused until his arm that was holding Luz lost its grip on her as Lucia twisted his wrist, causing him to cry in pain. Luis uses this opportunity to flip over the guard's arm, and push him forward by jumping off his shoulder with a backflip and lands in a crouch as the guard lands on his face in front of Eda's stand.

He then turns around with a glare, "Big mistake, kids!"

"You want him?" Luis stood as he asked Lucia.

"This one's yours."

"Thanks," Luis faced the guard, "And the only mistake was not letting us go when you had the chance. Course if you want to get clobbered by me or my sister here, it's your call."

The guard growls at his condescending tone and threw a punch at Luis, only for the boy to trip the guard to make him lose his footing allowing for Luis to grab him by the arm, position his back towards the demon, and shoulder throw him into a wall, causing him to crash, fall unconscious and groan in pain.

"Whoa," Eda was impressed by the display of athleticism. First Lucia, now this kid, "I think I'm starting to like you two." Eda spins her staff and taps the bottom of it on the table, making all her stuff wrap itself into a small bundle. She sticks her staff through the bundle and starts running. "Follow me, if you value your lives, humans!"

"We do value our lives!" Luz exclaimed as they followed after Eda. Unfortunately, the guard opens his stomach's eye, and grunts in anger.

"Thanks for helping us."

"I should be thanking your sister and brother." Eda thanked Luz, "The guards are always throwing their weight around with their dumb 'laws.' And after seeing those moves, I could use the extra backup," Eda said as she looked back at Lucia and Luis, "Besides, humans like you are much more valuable to me alive than dead."

"I have words," Lucia expressed slight concern with a quirked eyebrow.

"Yeah, what's that supposed to—" Luz was interrupted as Eda cheers as locks her arm around Luz, who grabs the hands of her brother and sister. Eda jumps as her staff glows, and the four of them teleport away as the guard appears.

"You won't get away with this, Owl Lady!" The guard pauses for a moment, "Oh, all right. You did," He said looking down at his hands, "You got away with it. She got away with it, everyone!" He exclaimed to literally no one around and walked away in defeat, "Typical."

Elsewhere in a forest outside of town, Eda and the kids reappear in a flash of light. Luz lands on her face and everyone else lands on their feet. Eda is calm as the others had their own fazed expression.

Lucia was the first to snap out of it, "Oh-ho-ho-kay, that was cool." She couldn't help but be impressed.

Upon pushing herself up, Luz tries to register the events of what happened, "Woah, wha…We teleported! You can do magic, that's amazing!" She exclaims before falling on her face again.

"Of course I can." Eda poses dramatically for the children as they help their sister, "I am Eda the Owl Lady, the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles!" The human trio just stared at her, but the older two were less than impressed by her bragging. "Feared, respected…"

The brother interjected, "Old and butt faced."

"Old and butt faced—Hey!" Luis points his thumb over at a wanted poster of Eda pinned to a tree. The poster has been vandalized to call Eda an 'old hag' and a 'butt face.' "Hey! Don't go looking at that!" She rips the poster off of the tree and crumples it up. "Stupid kids," Eda sets the poster on fire with her magic, before she continues on. Luz looks at her siblings who just shrug before they follow her.

They arrive at what looks like an old cottage with a small souvenir kiosk named the "Owl Shop." On top of the house was an owl with a human-like face as it cackled flying down as the four walked up to the door, with the door knocker being alive. Why not?

"Hoot-hoot! Password, please!"

Eda responded by poking both of his eyes in annoyance, "We got no time for this. Take us downstairs."

"All right, all right! Geez! You never want to have any fun!" The door monster was just as annoyed at her. "Ow! Hoot!"

It opened its mouth wide enough to completely cover the door allowing for Eda, Lucia, Luis and Luz to step through as Eda leaves her bag outside. They were confused, thinking if something should have happened, but then Eda tapped her staff to the floor, which then began to descend, and Luz excitedly giggles in anticipation.

Upon arriving inside, the room was pitch black, "Welcome to…" Eda snaps her fingers, "The Owl House."

Candles in the room were ignited, a fire in the fireplace started, a cauldron started stirring itself, a broom started sweeping the floor, and the ceiling began to glow overhead revealing an owl mural. Words could not describe how impressed the three teens were as they looked at it in awe.

"Wow, this place is incredible." Luz said as they walked in.

The kids looked around and Lucia addressed the owner. "Gotta admit, this is a nice setup you got here."

"Thanks." Eda noticed how curious Luis grabs a random vile of orange liquid, "Careful with those, kid. If you break them, monster tentacles will be unleashed and thrash anyone they grab a hold on."

"Good to know." Lucia said, but whispered to her brother, "I'm normally not a fan of stealing, but keep at least one on you, just in case. Never know what could happen in a place like this," He nods as he discreetly pockets one. "Anyway, you actually live here?"

"Yep, my own little private hideaway. No annoying guards, no annoying family... but I do have a roommate." Suddenly, thudding footsteps could be heard, and the house shook as debris fell from the ceiling. And Eda knew what that meant, "Ugh, here we go."

"Who dares intrude upon I, the king of demons?" A deep voice that later sounded more high pitched reveals to have come from a small furry demon who was wearing a bath towel and squeaks a rubber ducky. Just looking at the small demon made Luz's eyes shine.

"Huh, you're early." He wrings his towel on the floor, "Bring back any money this time?"

Eda had a sly smile as she scratched her face, "No, but I did bring these three." She pulls Luz to her side, who still had a giddy look on her face as she waved at him, and Lucia and Luis walked next to her as their hands were pocketed.

"What?" The small demon was in disbelief thinking they were their dinner, "Eda, we can't eat these!" Then he had second thoughts, "I mean, maybe? If we boil off the skin or…" Luz runs forward and scoops him up in a hug. "Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa, hey!"

"Oh, Eda, he's so cute!" Luz nuzzles their cheeks together, "Who's a widdle guy? Who's a widdle guy? Is it you? Is it you?"

However, he wasn't a fan and struggled to free himself. "No! I don't know who your little guy is! Eda, who is this monster?!"

Luz then felt a chop on her head courtesy of Lucia, and she clutched it as she dropped the small fuzzy creature, "Ow!"

"Hoo! Thanks for that." He looked up at the older girl.

"No prob."

"Anyway, this is Triple L. Luz, Luis, and Lucia, King." Eda introduced them to the creature now known as King, "They're here to help us with our little... situation."

"Wait, what?" They asked.

"Oh, this is great!" King said in excitement, "We were just looking for a human."

"We had a few parts of a human, but this is even better!" Eda added.

"Should we bring those along, just in case?" King asked.

"Couldn't hurt."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold your…demonic realm equivalent of horses, Scruffy and Pasty." Lucia told the duo, who looked at each other at their nicknames.

"Don't take this the wrong way, but between a witch criminal and a supposed King of Demons, what makes you think we're going to help you with any situation?" Luis asked skeptically.

"Add that to the fact that we can't help anyone right now," Luz takes out the passport, "We're just looking for my lost friend, and we'd like to find her and get home before anything else tries to eat us." A tentacled, multi-eyed creature falls on Luz's head, causing her to fall to the floor as she screams and cries.

Luis squats down with a blank expression, "Or you, at the very least." He slams a fist on the creature causing it to get off Luz. The creature hissed, but Luis snarls back causing it to flinch and whimper in fear.

"Whoa. You are intimidating," King comments.

"All right, but just hear us out for a second." Eda casts a spell that creates a cloud of smoke around them. As the siblings help Luz up, they stare in awe as images start to form in the smoke, "King was once a ferocious ruler, known as the king of demons, until his crown was stolen by Lilith, an evil witch employed by the emperor." She explained to the children, "She locked the crown away in an indestructible box, and King lost his powers." King sighs in depression as they look at him feeling sorry. "But, there's hope. The box is said to repel all magic, but a human can open it. Humans like you!" Eda ends her presentation as the three look in awe. "Help us find King's precious crown, and we'll help you find your friend." All of the smoke fades as she kneels to King's level. "What do ya say?"

Luz opens the passport and sees Amity's picture. The trio looked back at the duo, and saw Eda sniffing her pits, and the tentacled creature crawling towards King and wrapping his leg, only to slap the tentacle off. The kids looked at each other a little unsure about this, and they huddled together for a secret discussion.

"What do you guys think we should do?" Luz asked.

"Well, they look like they need help, and personally I don't want to be here anymore than we have to." Luis told them honestly.

"Plus there's a chance that someone or something might try to eat us if we go off around this place on our own. We could use the backup. Or decoys," The oldest whispered the last part.

"Lucia!"

"What? It's not like I said, 'bait,'" She dismissed Luz's accusations, "It's just a little addition to our to-do list. We just need to get King's crown, find Amity and get out of here as soon as possible." Lucia stated, "As long as we're together, we might as well go for it."

Luz nods and turns to the duo, "Okay, we'll help."

"Great!" She picks up Luz and tosses her over her shoulder as they head for the door, "Then we've got no time to lose."

"Yes!" King jumps in excitement.

"So, where is this Lilith holding King's crown anyway?" Lucia asked as she and her brother walked on both sides of Eda.

"Does she have it locked away in some sort of cursed dungeon, or something?" The boy wondered.

"No, it's locked away in a place far worse." Eda narrowed her eyes, "She has it hidden in her lair, and it is the most gruesome, most dangerous, and most terrifying place in all of the Boiling Isles!"

The treacherous place she mentioned… was not living up to its description. It looked to be a small schoolhouse labeled "Boiling Isles High School," where it is seen being surrounded by flowers as birds were five were hiding behind trees; Lucia is wearing what looks like a tailcoat with a hood, Luis is wearing a hooded frock coat, Luz is wearing a cloak, and King is perched on the younger girl's head. The older kids were underwhelmed while Luz was confused.

"You're kidding." Luis spoke with a quirked eyebrow at the Owl Lady, "This is the most horrid place in all the Boiling Isles, a small schoolhouse surrounded by flowers? Seriously?"

"I get that most people hate school because they think of it as prison, but come on." The oldest child deadpanned.

"Sorry," Luz chuckles in agreement. "It's just, we were actually expecting something a little more... perilous?"

Their attention was brought to the sound of the school bell chiming. The birds fly away and lightning erupts from the ground as the schoolhouse rises up, revealing a far larger building from below.

"Oh, yeah, that'll do." Lucia said as the three were now impressed and surprised by the sight.

Eda pulls them back, "Hey-hey. Costumes," She pulls the hood of Luz's cloak over her head, with King tucked underneath. "People know you're humans, everyone's gonna freak." Her attention is then brought to the older ones, "Although, I'm surprised by choice in getups. Sure you don't want to change into a getup like your kid sister's?"

"No capes, no cloaks, no robes." Luis said as he and Lucia put on their hoods. The boy then crossed his arms, "No offense."

Luz glanced at him with a look of how she wasn't sure how to feel about that, but stayed on mission, "Okay, so we'll meet you upstairs to find the crown."

"Crown!"

"Correct. And in the meantime, I'll make sure Lilith is distracted." Eda winks at them and holds up her staff. The human siblings stare in awe as she transforms into a giant owl, and then flies away.

"Huh. Neat," Luis admitted with a hand on his hip.

"Yeah, but let's focus on why we're here," Lucia and her siblings looked at the school from behind the tree, "We get in, get the crown, get out, find Amity, go home."

"Alrighty, guys. Mission…" Luz starts as all of them put on beaked masks, "Start."

All of them make their way into the school, and walk down the hallway, passing by many magic students. "Pardon," One student said as they walked past them.

Luz stared awkwardly as another student came walking across the ceiling, "Gangway!"

As soon as they reach the end of the hallway, it opens into an atrium, with numerous students walking along the landings. Some looked like they could pass for humans if you could only hide their pointed ears. The rest looked like they were beings that came out of nightmares. Regardless, they couldn't help but be amazed.

"Wow," Luis commented as they looked around, "Finding King's crown, might be a little easier said than done."

"Yeah," The younger sister agreed, "We're not even sure where we should even start."

The school bell rang and screamed at the same time, and immediately frightened everyone. "She's coming! She's coming! Everyone, run!"

In a panic, the students all scream and scatter from the room, and the three humans shut themselves into three individual lockers to hide. And suddenly, in the emergence of blue flames, a woman with black hair appears to inspect the atrium. She walks past the lockers the siblings were hiding in.

Then a tiny student with a big nose desperately makes her way through the hall only for the woman to stop her in her tracks. "You should be in class."

"B-But Headmistwess, I have a hall pass." Her begging was useless as the woman caused small black arms to erupt from a hole in the floor and tangle around her. The small-nosed student creamed as she was dragged through the hole. With that done, the headmistress walks away to continue her inspection but is unaware of the three humans watching from their hiding places.

"Holy shoot!" Luis said in a low voice so he couldn't be heard.

"Who was that?" Luz asked, peeking from the locker's eye.

"That's Lilith." King answered from inside the cowl, "She's the one who stole my crown."

"Her?!—Mmm."

At the sound of Luz's voice, Lilith turned around and grew suspicious. King looked nervous as he kept Luz's mouth shut, and they crouched down so Lilith couldn't see them as she passed them by and left. With the coast clear, the older duo stepped out of the lockers, and looked around to see no one in the hall. They were relieved and Lucia opened the locker Luz was in.

"So, that was Lilith, huh?" She asked King, "The one who stole your crown?"

King nodded in confirmation, "That's her."

"Well, it's a good thing she couldn't find you, even with the little big mouth here." She referred to her little sister, who looked offended.

"Hey, it's not my fault," She defended herself. "How was I supposed to know she was the headmistress of this place?"

"Hmm, good point," Luis tapped his chin with his finger, "Eda said this place is her lair, and that tiny-nosed student called her the headmistress. It's a mystery that boggles the mind." Luis said sarcastically and deadpanned at the young girl, "But she's gone for the moment, and we need to find that crown and get out of here before she comes back." He reminded them, and they nodded before they ran off.

Upon running down the hall, they heard someone laughing. What really stuck out was it sounded familiar to Luz, "Wait, that voice."

"Wait, no." King denied from inside the hood, "We don't have time for this!"

The three humans peek through the doorway of a classroom and Luz is surprised to find Amity levitating a set of photographs while chatting with two other students, one who looked like a lizard, the other was a pig demon with three eyes.(A/N: One, I could be wrong about the lizard, because it's to tell when everything is drawn in the pilot. If you've seen the pilot, feel free to correct me in the review. Two, anyone thinking the pig is the pilot form for Boscha?)

"I can't believe your parents made you study in the human world." One of her friends said in an amused tone.

"Ugh," Her other friend, who looked like a three-eyed pig said in disgust, "Humans are gross. They are just so gross!" She snorts before gagging.

"We're the gross ones, says the three-eyed pig with the warts." Luis whispered, feeling insulted by that.

Amity just chuckles knowing that her friends were right, "Oh girl, I know. I'm just glad I was able to get back." She brushes back her hair to reveal pointed witch ears, making Luz gasp as she turns from the doorway so they couldn't see her.

"Amity's a witch. She's from here." She told her siblings, who didn't look at all shocked. They just crossed their arms and this confuses her, "Um, guys, I kinda expected you to be a bit more…surprised."

"Yeah," Lucia spoke up to her in a nonchalant manner, "And we totally would be surprised, if we didn't know about that already." She deadpanned.

"What?!" Luz exclaimed, "What do you mean you knew about it already?"

"I said she came from this freak show realm when we first arrived here!" Luis reminded her as she flinched, knowing she wasn't paying attention. "Are those ears just for show?! Because it's obvious you never listen to anyone!"

"Yeah, I'm with them," King peeked out of Luz's hood, "I mean, even the little horns on her passport should have been a dead giveaway." He agreed with the other two in a blank tone, "And this is off the top of my head here, but I'm guessing…you're the dumb one, right?" He asked Luz, who smacked King on the nose because she did not appreciate that comment. "Nyeh!"

Luz felt a chop on her head by her brother, "Ow! What was that for?"

"You are not the type of person who has the right to smack others just because they give you sass. And above all else," He gave her another chop on the head, causing her to glare at him, "Learn to focus." Luz couldn't argue with him because she knew he was right about how she should start paying attention. "But this puts us ahead of schedule. Just walk in, give Amity her passport so we can get the crown and leave."

Luz nods as King tucks himself back into her hood, and walks into the classroom. "Amity, thank goodness. It's so good to see you again."

"Um, do I know you?" Amity asked in confusion as she made the photos disappear. Luckily for Luz, Amity didn't recognize her.

"Yeah, are you, like, new or something?" The pig demon questioned.

"You can't let the others know you're human," King whispered from inside her hood, and Luz grew nervous.

"I'm... uh... oh!" Luz's eyes shine as she spots the drawing that she made for Amity, and points to it. "That. That drawing there. I was the one who…"

Amity chuckles as she picks it up, "Oh, yes. This? Some creepy human girl gave it to me." She explained, still not knowing it was Luz under the hood, "There's, like, blood on it and stuff. Ugh, it's gross."

"Embarrassing," Her reptilian friend added as she and the pig were amused.

"What a weirdo."

"Honestly, if there's only one thing I could say that was worthwhile to mention about her, it would be her brother and sister." Luz's eyes were saddened when she said that, thinking that she thought she would be nothing without them, "Without them, she wouldn't be able to do anything. Makes me wonder if those two and their sister are actually related."

"The older humans sound like they'd do anything to make their loser of a sister happy, and she's just lucky to have them." The reptilian student gave her opinions, "Without them, she'd be a nobody for the rest of her life. Heck, the way Amity's been talking, she's a nobody now."

"Ain't that the truth," Amity laughs, "That's sadder than her thinking we were actually friends." Luz's saddened look turns to shock as Amity crumples up the drawing and tosses it out the window. Luz's brother and sister stood on opposite sides of the door frame having heard everything, and looked at each other displeased by what Amity said and did to the drawing. "Uh, sorry. What did you say your name was?"

Luz looked dejected by her words because she actually thought she made a friend. But apparently, not even Amity could tolerate her presence, "I'm...nobody." Luz exits the classroom, dropping Amity's passport into the trash on the way out.

"You okay, sis?" Lucia consoled her.

"I'll be fine." She told them while depressed, as the two glared in the room at Amity, who was still talking with her friends. "Let's just go."

"Before that…" Lucia held Luz's shoulder, and she looked at them confused by their smirks. "Luis..." Luis takes out the bottle he got from Eda, much to Luz's surprise.

"You stole from Eda?"

"Don't think of it as stealing," He defended, "Just think of it as liberating. And for good reason, since anything could happen here," Lucia agreed with his reason, "Besides, if she didn't want us taking stuff out of her house, she should've put up some sort of protection spell or something."

"Well, what are you gonna do with that bottle?" Luz asked.

"He's just gonna chuck it at those idiots, and it'll do the rest," The eldest answered.

"And if it makes you any better, we never really liked her much, anyway." Luis told his kid sister honestly, "Her negative, stuck-up attitude is a real turn-off. And what she said about you made this so much easier." Luis peeked inside the room and was lucky they were still talking and not looking. He reeled his arm back before throwing it at them and hid as it hit the back of Amity's head.

"Ow!"

"Ouch!" The lizard demon winced at how painful that was, but then raised an eyebrow, "But where did that come from? And what is this stuff?"

The pig demon sniffed the liquid on Amity, and her eyes widened, "Monster tentacle potion." The other two shared her expression.

"Uh-oh."

Tentacles sprouted from the floor and grabbed Amity and her friends, and she gripped onto the desk. Luis looked as he was walking in front of the doorway.

"Hey, wait!" She shouted out at him, "Don't just stand there, help us!"

"Yeah, that's not happening," Luis says dryly, not even giving it a second thought, "Nothing personal, but I know not when to butt in on situations where things may turn out worse for me."

"Wait, you're just going to leave us like this?!" Amity asked in disbelief, losing her grip, "How are we supposed to get out of this?!" Luis's expression didn't change.

"That sounds like a you problem. See ya."

Luis closes the door and turns back to his group, where Luz and King are looking a little shocked by how cold he was to those three, "I know I called you 'intimidating,' but I think 'ruthless' is more appropriate." The small demon comments. "I think I like it."

"Thanks," The boy waved it off, "And I'm only like that when I have to be."

"Thanks, Luis," Luz knew he meant well, even if his methods seemed a little harsh. "But don't you think that was a bit much?" She refers to the grunts of pain being heard in the room.

"Oh, come on, sis. They're magic," Lucia waved it off, not really bothered by his actions, "It's not like they can actually get hurt…much. They're fine," She brings in Luis and whispers to him, "There are no witnesses or cops around. Anything happens, we take to our graves," He winks at her in understanding.

Later, King and the human trio make their way up a flight of stairs as Eda, still in her owl form, perches on the window, "Lilith is distracted turning a lunch lady into stone. Now's our chance." In a flash of yellow, she transforms from a giant owl back into her normal form. "Ah, isn't this fun, going on a heist with a colorful gang of miscreants?"

"Whatever," The human trio take off their masks, "Let's just get King's crown so we can go home." She walks ahead with Luis and Lucia following her with sympathetic looks on their faces. Eda looks at King wondering what happened, but the small demon shrugged.

On the inside of the Headmistress' office, Eda blasts the doorknob off the door, and chuckles mischievously as the five of them enter the room. King was on all fours smelling for his crown, "It's close! My crown is nearby."

"Well, this is it, kids." Eda turned to the human trio, "We get the crown, we find your friend, and you'll be well on your way home."

"I don't have any friend to find anymore." Luz said depressed, causing the Owl Lady to become confused.

"Funny thing." Lucia spoke to get attention, "We found the kid we were looking for, only to discover that she was from this place, and she never saw Luz as a friend."

"Oh. Sorry to hear that," Eda apologized to the girl.

"Don't worry about it," Luis puts a hand on Luz's shoulder. "I taught her and her friends a lesson."

"How did…" Eda began to ask, before she realized something, "Wait, I saw some kids getting slammed around a classroom before a teacher came in." She then went wide-eyed at the boy, "That was you?"

"Yup." Luis said simply, "Oh, BTW, thanks for the tip of what could happen if you break open one of those potions."

"You didn't."

"I did," He was actually satisfied with himself. "You wanna diss my kid sister, best get ready to suffer the consequences. Mess with one of us, you mess with all of us."

"I'm not sure if I should be impressed or scared of you, right now." Eda said, but then Luz spoke to her.

"Eda, have you ever felt like...you don't belong anywhere?" Luz looks up to her, "Like you're nothing but a weirdo?"

Eda simply digs in her ear, "I feel like a weirdo all the time. It's great." She pulls out a clump of earwax, and sniffs it. Lucia and Luis look at each other, thinking she is definitely not the best role model for anyone, let alone their sister.

"Well, sort of, but…"

"It's here!" King gets their attention, and jumps in front of a curtain gesturing to what's behind it, "It's here, it's here, it's here!" The four of them walk towards him, "I can smell its power! But first, we gotta get through this evil, magic repelling, human death box!"

King pulls back the curtain, and the siblings and Eda gasp, only for the humans' expression to then drop, "Oh, wait."

The "human death box" is revealed to be an old, ordinary human-world locker labeled "contraband." The kids were less than impressed as Eda and King just continued to gawk at it.

The former spoke out, "It's more complex and formidable than I imagined."

"Burn it!" King demanded.

"You can't be serious," The boy deadpanned.

"I'll ask. Are you guys serious?" Luz was amused by how little they knew about the human realm. "Let us handle this."

The three of them walked up and Lucia kneeled down and inspected it as Eda and King watched from behind. "Uh-huh," She hums as if she was taking this situation as seriously as possible, even though she was messing with them, "Ah, yes, I see. What an interesting inanimate specimen." She then turned to the duo, "I see your problem."

"And?"

"Well, to put it bluntly, you people of the demon realm…" She pauses and they wait in anticipation, "Are all a bunch of idiots." The two fall face first and get up to glare at the girl as her younger siblings laughed. "I'm really surprised you didn't try to blow this thing up. Or even use magic to pry it open." Eda jabs the side of her head, having not even considered either of those options. "If you guys are the culmination of everything superior here, I fear you are doomed as a species."

"Oh, yeah?" Eda didn't appreciate her attitude, and stood with her hands on her hips, "Well, if you're so smart, let's see you get it open."

Lucia shrugged at the dare, "Okay. Luz, pin me," Luz takes out her bobby pin, and Lucia uses it to jimmy the lock, making the door pop open. "You're welcome."

"Shut it," Eda scowled at her.

They scoured through the locker and found it to be riddled with otherworldly contents, including the tiny nosed student who was whimpering as she sat in a cage. But what mattered was that King found what he was looking for.

"My crown!" His so-called crown was a Burger King crown and placed it on his head. "Yes, yes! I can feel my powers returning! You, there." He points his claw at a stuffed rabbit, "Nightmare critter. I shall call you Francois, and you shall be a minion in my army of darkness. Ha-ha!"

"It's just plastic." The human trio thought it was an actual crown, not a toy, "We came all this way for that?" Luz asked the elderly woman in disbelief.

Eda kneeled down to her, "No, no! That crown gives him the power of, uh... confidence?" The siblings continue to glare at Eda, expecting to give a real answer. "Okay, so I embellished the truth a little."

"Embellished?" Lucia scoffed at her choice of words, "You flat out lied to us, and brought us into this huge waste of time."

"If you want to be technical and negatively blunt about it, yes I did." She said to the eldest human.

"I knew something was off," Luis crossed his arms, "If this was a powerful artifact and Lilith was as evil as you said, why hasn't she used it for herself so she could rule the demon realm? Or given it to this emperor you mentioned?" Luis brought up questions to think about, "Can't speak for Luz, but we just decided to play along, and see where this went."

"So you knew something was up, and you decided to go along with it instead of talking each other out of it?" Eda asked the older duo, "Why?"

"Oh, that's my favorite part right there," Lucia brought her hands together and pointed her fingers at the elder woman, "Believe it or not, that's the exact same question I could ask you."

"Do you not see how happy he is?" She couldn't help but smile at the miniature demon king, "Just, let him have this. Us weirdos have to stick together, right?" She asked them with a wink, thinking they would understand. Then looked up at Luis and Lucia, "If it were for your kid sister, I bet you two would do the same." They looked at each with a smile, and the former patted Luz's head as the latter held her shoulder.

"I guess you have a point." The eldest smiled at her.

"Well, we owe you one, kids." Eda stood up, "Now let's get out of here before Lilith returns." Lilith's silhouette appears behind Eda, with her hand transformed into a blade, and decapitates the Owl Lady, making her head fall on the floor, and causing the other four to scream.

"Holy crud!" Luis exclaimed as King was freaking out too.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!"

Lilith steps into the light with a menacing chuckle, "Leaving without saying hello?" She asked as her hand transformed back to normal, "You never change, do you dear sister?"

"Sister?!" The older two said in shock as Luz picked up Eda's head as her body fell.

"Eda!"

"Ugh, I hate it when that happens." Luz screams, dropping Eda's head. "Ow!" She muffled into the floor.

"She's sorry for that," Lucia couldn't help but still be in shock, "But Luz has the right reaction; you should be dead."

Their attention is then brought to King's crown being levitated off of his head, "My crown!"

"Stupid creature." Lilith smirks as the toy levitates above her palm, "I told you the first time, only the emperor is allowed to wear crowns." With her eyes glowing, and a crush of her hand, the crown disintegrates, "It's the law."

King gasps at the sight, "I-I'll.. you... I!" He sulks down to the floor with a sigh knowing he can't actually do anything, even if he wanted to.

The human siblings glare up at Lilith as Luz holds King close, "Hey, you can't just do that."

"Yawn." Lilith telekinetically pushes Luz backward, sending her and King crashing into the wall.

"Okay, you definitely shouldn't have done that," Lucia warned her as Luis lunged at the headmistress, only for her to teleport out of view.

She reappeared behind him with a hand blade again, and swung at him with his back turned. He was fortunate his instincts told him to duck forward, and in a handstand, he tried to give Lilith a double kick. Lilith barely manages to block him, and sends her toppling backwards allowing Lucia to deliver a left hook to her face, leaving a bruise. The woman glares at the children as she rubs her face, but could not help but admire their skill.

"Impressive."

"That wasn't even the warmup." Luis cracks his knuckles as both charge only to stop in midair, "I-I can't…move."

Lilith repels the two into the wall behind them, and then picks up Eda's head by the hair. "Trying to steal from me, sister?"

"Hey, you stole from us first," She argued with her sister. "All these laws are stupid and you know it!"

"That attitude is why you make a living selling garbage," Lilith mocked as she knew that she was living the real highlife. But given how they were family, Lilith decided to make a deal with Eda, "If you swore loyalty to the emperor, maybe you'd have a nice job like me."

"You know what Lilith, you're right. My life is a sham," She conceded to her sister in feigned emotionality. "Okay, I need to own up to something, sister. Just, come closer." She pulled her head closer, "No, a- just come a little bit closer. Just, yeah that's good." Once her head was close enough, Eda blew a raspberry in her face. Lilith recoils as she throws Eda's head at Luz face, allowing her to catch it as Eda laughs and snorts.

Lilith wipes the saliva off her face and glares at her sis, "Why can't you act like an adult for once?!"

"'Oooh, I'm Lilith,'" Eda rolls her eyes mockingly, "'And I'm so dark and broody.'"

"Stop it!" She ordered her sister.

Eda, however, would not stop, "'I talk in a raspy voice, and dye my hair black because real witches don't have curly red hair!'"

"Stop it, stop it, stop it!"

"And a real witch would never let some guy in a crown intimidate her into acting like a total tool!" The last one seemed a little too personal, and it made the three humans worry.

"Dang…" Lucia thought these two might have some issues to work out.

"What have you done?" Luz whispered in fear.

Lilith is seen clearly being pushed to her limit as eyes then turn red. Her nails also begin to become more claw-like and fangs begin to form in her mouth, as blue electricity crackles around her. "You've insulted me for the last time!"

"No, I haven't. Your makeup looks tacky," Lucia and Luis punch Eda on both sides of her face. "Ow!"

"Shut up!" Lucia shouted. "Are you trying to get us killed?!"

"What are you, braindead?!" Luis asked rhetorically as Eda glared at the two with red cheeks. "'Cause right now, I feel bad for Lilith for being related to you."

"Hey!" Eda officially feels disrespected right now.

"Let's get out of here, King." Luz darts for the exit, grabbing Eda's body as it stands itself back up. "You're coming too."

As they make their way out of the office and down the stairs, Lilith fully transforms into a monstrous bat-creature, and lets out a monster shriek.

Once they reached the bottom of the stairs, Luz grabs Eda's staff from her body to see if she can get them out of there, "Eda, how do you make this thing teleport us back to your house?"

"Careful!" The Owl Lady warned, "You don't know how to use that."

"Yet, that has never stopped her before," Luz ignored her brother's remark as she tapped the staff to the floor, and it began crackling with yellow energy. "Well, that's bad."

"And that's worse," Lucia points up the stairs, and they see the transformed Lilith making her way down the stairs as she lets out a monstrous shriek.

Triple L, King, and Eda's body all grab onto the staff. "Everyone, hang on!"

The staff takes off, flying them through the corridors of the school. Lilith lets out another shriek and gives chase. Amity is seen walking in the hallway, and seen with bandages on her cheek and wrapped around her head as she was still feeling sore from being thrashed around. The staff passed by with her and everything went slow as the Luz was briefly face-to face with her.

She paused and looked behind her, "Was that…?" Lilith comes through and knocks Amity out of the way as she continues chasing them.

And then her pig friend pops in also having on bandages, "It's those new kids. They're awesome!"

A large crowd of students followed in the direction of the chase as the five were seen flying through the atrium and out through the front doors of the school, with Lilith still in close pursuit. The students peer out of the windows and begin cheering them on. Everyone was chanting "New kids" as Amity joins the crowd at the windows and stares out at Luz, with the aforementioned girl peering back.

Eda's body flipped up back onto the staff, reattached her head, then piloted her staff into the forest, losing Lilith for the moment. Eda lands them down to the ground and walks up to the ruins of a wall.

"Okay, we don't have much time before Lilith finds us." She reaches into the gem on her dress and pulls out a portal key. She plunges it into the wall, turns the key, and activates a green portal. "This is a portal back to the human world— Aah!" The portal bursts into green flames. "Whoops, wrong channel," Eda twists the key again, and the portal turns blue. "Okay, you three have to go. It's too dangerous for you here."

"Ya think?!" The older two shouted at her in unison, causing Eda to flinch.

"Wait, that's it?" Even though their time together was short, Luz felt a real connection with the two of them. She couldn't help but feel worried, "What about you guys?"

King shrugs, "Meh, this wouldn't be the first time a giant bat tried to eat us."

"Listen, we're not great at goodbyes, so, uh…" Eda picks up King, and the demon boops Luz's nose.

"Boop." Luz's eyes sparkled, and smiled.

Her siblings looked at each other thinking it wouldn't be right to leave the two of them like this. Especially when it's obvious they are just like their sister.

"You know, we just wanna—" Eda is interrupted when Lilith lands behind them, and grabs a hold of her sister and King.

"I've got you now!"

"Oh no you don't." She tries pointing her staff at Lilith, only to realize she doesn't have it, "Ugh, come on! Kids, get through that portal."

Luz starts running toward the portal, but she feels a hand grab on her shoulder. She turns around to see it was her sister, who, along with Luis, knew that Luz didn't want to leave them.

"We're not really going to turn our backs on 'em like this, are we?" The oldest asked.

"I want to help, but even so, how?" Luz asked with a worried expression, "I'm not like the two of you. You guys are the warriors of our group. But what can I do?"

Both of them look at her in sympathy, and Luis sees Eda's staff lying on the ground. He picks it up, and spins it before tossing it to Luz. She stares at it questioningly before looking at her brother.

"Haven't you always wanted to become a witch when you were a kid?" He smiled at the girl, causing her eyes began to sparkle.

Eda is seen holding her fists out at Lilith, "Come at me, you rabies dumpster. I've still got my fists."

King wasn't hopeful of that idea, "This is not good."

Lilith opens her jaw to eat Eda and King, but Luis throws a stone into her mouth, causing her to choke. Then looked to see who threw that, "You!"

"Yeah, us." Luis stated as Luz stood between him and Lucia.

"What are you doing, kids?!" Eda exclaimed, expecting them to have gotten away, "Run!"

"Right, because you are clearly in the position to handle this on your own," Lucia points out as Eda was still in Lilith's grasp. She was about to retort, but couldn't deny Lucia had a point. "Nah, I think we'll stay a while."

Luz taps Eda's staff to the ground, and stands firmly, "We're not running anywhere. Us weirdos have to stick together, remember?"

"No, I don't!"

"Foolish humans!" Lilith was further irritated by their antics, "I could squash you like bugs!"

"Do not underestimate us, Lilith, for we are Triple L!" Luz declared as she spread her arm to the side dramatically, "Luz, Luis and Lucia of the human realm, warriors of peace!" She suddenly kneels down, aiming Eda's staff like a bazooka. "Now eat this, sucka!" Luz fires a magic blast directly at Lilith's face…only to give her a mustache. Lucia could only snicker at the sight, as the boy slapped a hand over his face. "That's not exactly what I intended."

"Either way, nice try." Lucia complimented, "The old bat was angry enough as it was, now we pushed her over the edge even more," She smirked as an idea came to mind. "We can use that."

Their brother stepped by Luz, "In other words, step back, Luz." The young brought her sister to the wall with him, and looked up at Lucia. "This one's yours, sis." She nodded with a smirk.

Lilith shakes the mustache off of her face and glares at the children, "I do not like being made a fool of!"

"Or what?" Lucia scoffed at the elder woman, "What are you gonna do about it, attack us? Gimme your best shot, I dare ya."

Lilith tosses Eda and King from her grip, then lunges at Lucia. The girl gets in position, and once Lilith is close enough, Luz changes the portal back to its previous setting, allowing for Lucia to charge at her, and jump on Lilith's face at the last moment.

"Psych!"

"Ah! No, no, no, no!" Lilith's momentum sends her careening through the portal. She then begins to climb back out.

Eda is hanging on to a tree branch with King holding her waist, "Close the portal! Break the key!"

Luis kicks the portal key, breaking it and the portal begins closing. "I'll be back. You won't get away with this!" The portal closes around Lilith's left hand, severing it, causing her to scream in agony as the portal fully dissipates.

"Ooh, a souvenir." Lilith's hand begins scampering away from King, and gives chase after it, "No, come back!"

"Woo—mmph." Eda falls out of a tree, and the kids run towards her and Luz helps her up.

"Eda!"

"Triple L, you were so cool!" Eda told the human trio, and the older two agreed.

"I'll say," Lucia was still excited about her part in that situation. "That was awesome! Even for you, Luz."

Luz smiled at her sister, "Couldn't have done it without you guys." She then turned her attention back to Eda. "And sorry we trapped your sister in another dimension."

"Unfortunately, she'll be fine," She waved it off, "Us witches are tough cookies." One of Eda's teeth falls out to the humans' surprise, "Oh, ignore that. Also, ig-ignore this," Eda collapses to the ground.

"Eda!"

King pops in holding Lilith's severed hand, "Got it... What's wrong with her?" He points at Eda.

"I guess all the excitement that's happened has taken a toll on her," Luis then carries Eda over his shoulders, "C'mon, let's get her home."

"Wow, you're strong," Eda said, a little surprised.

That evening, when they arrived at Owl House, Luis was still carrying Eda, as the others tiredly dragged themselves, and made it into the living room, and everyone but Luis collapsed on the floor.

"Easy, Luis." Lucia told her brother, "Put her down gently."

"Don't worry," He assured, "I'm Dr. Delicate Touch." When he stopped in front of the couch, however, Luis threw Eda off his shoulders, and onto the couch causing it to fall backwards.

"Ow!" Eda got up and glared at him, "That's your idea 'delicate'?"

"You said you were tough, and still a little ticked off over how you brought us into this mess," Luis said as he helped her get the couch back up, and the two collapsed on it.

"My whole body hurts." Luz then looked at her siblings, "Now I know how you guys feel after your kung fu classes.

"Ugh, my heart hurts," King groans as Lilith's hand scurries off again.

Luz gets up and looks down at him, "Hey King, I have something for you."She reaches into her bag. "It's not the original, but…" She held out the head of her Azura doll and removed Azura's crown. "I hope you like it."

King accepts the crown and places it on his head, "This shall suffice."

"Well, kids, looks like you're stuck here for a while." Eda looked at the older duo as Luz looked at King posing in the mirror, "And I'm still impressed with how you two managed to confront Lilith not once, but twice."

"Eh… It helps to have training," Lucia then ruffled Luz's hair, "And you said weirdos stick together, right? I hope that includes siblings of weirdos."

"Mmm… Don't see why not."

"Thanks," Luis showed his gratitude to the elder woman, "Besides, you helped our sister discover that being 'different' isn't such a bad thing as long as you're with the right crowd."

"And for someone who's viewed as a piece of scum of society, you're not all that bad," Lucia smiled at her as she sat up.

"Aww, thanks." Eda smiled before she deadpanned, "I think." She then felt something on her head, "Ow! I think I got something caught in my hair." Eda pulls Luz's drawing of her and Amity out of her hair. "Whoa…" Luz silently winces, expecting her to ridicule her like everyone else, "This is beautiful."

"What?" Luz asked in shock.

"Why would anyone throw this away?" She looked at Luz, who was staring, "What?" Luz begins crying out of joy and wraps Eda in a hug. "What's going on? What's gotten into you? Is she always like this?"

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Luz cried out in gratitude as Luis and Lucia looked at each other sheepishly.

The boy rubs the back of his head, "Like we said, she had…trouble fitting in at home."

"Yeah, a lot of people in town don't really get her." Lucia had a hand on her pocket with her thumb hanging out. "You can imagine how difficult it can be for her to make friends." She smiled to her sister, "Guess finally finding someone other than us who can recognize her talents must mean a lot to her."

Eda then hears something in the room next door, "Alright, alright. Hug him instead," She places King in Luz's arms, and leaves for the other room.

"Too tight, too tight, too tight!" King squirmed as Luz continued crying.

"Eesh," Lucia and Luis just continued to stare at the two.

Eda enters the other room and moves aside a box, revealing a magic mirror. The mirror opens, displaying the image of a bird-headed demon, "The emperor does not like to be kept waiting, Owl Lady."

"What do you want?" She demanded.

"There are rumors that not one, but three humans have slipped onto the Isles," He informed her. "And that you have them." Eda's eyes widened, but she dismissed his accusation.

"Hah," She snorts, "I have no idea what you're—" The gem on Eda's dress crackles with red energy causing her to cry in pain.

It was caused by the bird demon, who is holding a complimentary gem, "Do not lie, Owl Lady. Bring the humans to us." Eda opens her eyes, and glares at him, "That's an order."

As the bird demon ends the call, Eda grits her teeth angrily, and slams her fist into the table, causing the mirror to snap shut. But what she didn't know was that Lucia and Luis were eavesdropping on her. The two looked at each other in concern as Luz continued to sob on the couch while holding King.

And this has been the Pilot. A different approach from how most would do some of their favorite series, but hey. To each their own, et cetera. And I have to say, not so bad for a first timer, and I had some fun with it. Lots of people are making stories of how things would be if Luz had a sibling or two. Why not me, right?

And it took a while to settle on the design for the OCs and who should be their voice actors, but I think I found a look that works for them, along with some of the voices. Here, Sammy Arriaga voices Luis and Melissa Villaseñor does so for Lucia. What do you guys think?
