Hey guys! Welcome to a new story. This fanfic is based on the episode 'Starcrossed' of the animated series Justice League. I liked so much this triple episode that I thought I would do a story with Marvel heroes. And I chose Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel.
Good reading!
Chapter 1: Double-cross and the New World
In a world protected by the Justice League, a race of winged aliens named the Thanagarians had invaded their planet, claiming to act to protect Earth from another alien race, the Gordanians.
Knowing threatened by the Gordanians, the rulers of the Earth accepted the offer of the Thanagarians. And with the help of the Justice League, the winged aliens began to build a massive generator in the Gobi desert, which they said would provide a planetary defense shield.
The Justice League was shocked to find out that Shayera Hol, alias Hawkgirl, a member of the League, had always lied to her teammates. From the beginning she had been a lieutenant in the Thanagarian army and had been sent to Earth as an advanced scout, and somehow ambassador, to prepare for their arrival. Since this news, the relationship between Shayera and his teammates was tense. Especially for John Stewart alias Green Lantern who had learned that the woman he fell in love with was engaged to Hro Talak, general of the Thanagarian military forces.
In the Gobi desert, Superman, Green Lantern, Flash and J'onn J'onzz helped the Thanagarians build the force field, discovering their powerful technology.
Superman was welding metal with his heat vision when he received a communication from Diana from the Watchtower.
"Superman! The Thanagarians are lying. Batman's been captured aboard their command ship... Great Hera! They're here at the Watchtower! The landing bay's opening! They must have our access codes!"
The Man of Steel was stunned. So the Thanagarians were lying about their intentions. They captured Batman and attacked the Watchtower.
He tried to reach Diana, but the communication was cut off. They had to go back to the Tower quickly to find out what was really going on.
He joined J'onn J'onzz by air, and found Green Lantern and Flash on the ground.
"Diana's in trouble! Get to the Javelin! Fast!"
They immediately rushed to their ship. But before they could reach it, it was destroyed sending the four members of the League flying.
Green Lantern caught up with Flash using a force field from his green ring, while discovering that Paran Dul one of the female Thanagarian Lieutenant had fired at the Javelin with a powerful energy cannon.
"I'm afraid we can't allow that." she said as she prepared to shoot the League.
She attacked again, but John managed to dodge her. Shayera came from the air, hitting her, causing her to lose her weapon and shoved her against the metal wall.
"What are you doing?" she roars.
"Can't let your friends jeopardize our mission." declared Talak resolute.
At his words, he flew into the air with a multitude of Thanagarian soldiers armed with their axes.
On the ground a few meters away, human soldiers posing as workers had seen everything. One of them warns his superior.
"General Wells, the Hawkmen are attacking the Justice League! It's a double-cross!"
From the military command center, General Wells then ordered a counterattack against them.
Immediately, three missiles were fired at the mother ship, while military tanks invaded the alien generator.
But the mothership Thanagarien sent out a beam of energy that neutralized the three missiles. Then it was the turn of the tanks to be deactivated. The brave soldiers came out of their tanks armed with guns as Thanagarians came to them by air. But the soldiers were stunned to see that none of their guns could fire.
In a few seconds, the Thanagarians outnumbered them and surrounded them. Talak stood before them with a threatening air.
"Surrender or die!"
In the air, Superman, Green Lantern and J'onn J'onzz flew straight at the Hawkmen.
"Take them out! Fast and hard!" declared Green Lantern.
They went in force on the enemy. Superman used his super fists to shoot down Thanagarians, while J'onn struck on his side. He passed through a Hawkman and turned into a bluish monster with scales. He attacked and struck several Thanagarians by throwing them to the ground.
He didn't see Paran Dul coming to him by air, with a strange baton.
"You wanted to learn about our technology?" she said, alluding to an earlier conversation about the Thanagarian paraphernalia.
And she threw a beam of energy that neutralized the Martian, knocking him completely to the desert ground.
Flash rushed towards Paran at super speed, striking her. After putting her K.O. the speedster rushed towards the unconscious Martian.
"J'onn !"
Green Lantern fought some Hawkmen by making appear with his green ring of big green hands. Then he fired a beam at a Thanagarian shield which transformed into energy that went back against John.
Superman managed to push back some Thanagarians and ran straight for Hro Talak standing with a whole army of flying aliens.
"Now!" ordered Talak.
A Thanagarian attacked Superman by sending out a greenish beam that made him powerless. He fell from heaven and crashed in the desert.
Flash joined him in super-speed and gently took his face. The Kryptonian was terribly weakened, as if the Thanagarians had stripped him of his strength.
"Feels... like... Kryptonite."
From heaven, Talak again commanded:
"Fire the gravity beam!"
Then it was Flash's turn to be hit by a beam of gravity that knocked him out.
The only member of the League who was still fighting was Green Lantern. He recovered J'onn, Superman and Flash, all three unconscious, in a green bubble that made it burst from his ring.
He flew out of the Thanagarian generator, taking the three heroes with him.
But a gigantic force field gushes out of the generator and imprisons them, preventing the Green Guardian from escaping.
The force field had knocked them all to the ground. Green Lantern could not break the energy barrier.
Shayera came to him, the look of sorrow. For John, it was another unforgivable betrayal.
"Don't fight us. We're trying to help you." she says in a calm voice.
But John didn't want to listen.
"Do you ever stop lying?" he replied furiously.
"It was for your own good." said Shayera. "You've got to trust me!"
"Why?" John carried off, brandishing his glittering green ring on her. "Whose side are you really on?"
"Don't you know?" Hawkgirl murmured with a sad voice.
Green Lantern hesitated. Could she always be on their side. Could he trust her? Would his feelings for her have blinded him?
He gently lowered his hand. But before he could say or do anything, Shayera knocked him out with his club. Green Lantern fell into the sand.
"I'm sorry John." said Shayera without emotion.
Then she was joined by Talak triumphant beside the one he loved. And that was the last thing John saw before he lost consciousness.
The Justice League had fallen...
In another universe...
My turn! Hi everyone, my name is Kamala Khan, the heroine known as... Ms Marvel! So, yes, I know it's a Justice League superhero story, but this is my story with my favorite superhero CAPTAIN MARVEL, aka Carol Danvers! Twinsies! Me who dreamed of meeting her and teaming up with her... It happened! I saved the universe with Carol... but things didn't go as we would have wanted... We defeated Dar-Benn, but we also lost a member of our team, Monica Rambeau whose name as a superhero was still to be determined... Carol and I were trying to find her in space where she disappeared... And again, it didn't go as we would have wanted... You were wondering how we got to be around the Justice League? The answer is in this story...
Through space, Carol Danvers alias Captain Marvel was crossing the starry vastness, passing by planets on her ship the Hoopty. She was traveling with her new friend Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. Both hoped to find their friend Monica Rambeau who disappeared in another reality.
"If she were still alive, her mother would want me to find her." explained Carol who was in command of her ship.
"We will." assured Kamala who wore her superhero outfit with her mask.
"But to be able to open a passage in another reality, it is necessary that your bracelet creates a new jump point, again." specified the hero of the stars. "It will be difficult to reopen another one."
"We'll figure out."
For a long time, Kamala dreamed of teaming up with her idol where she fantasized about adventures with her. When she was caught up in the conflict between Carol and the evil Dar-Ben, she was at first delighted and overexcited to finally meet her idol in person. Her optimism had often helped Carol and Monica get along better despite the tension between them.
Her experience in the major conflict with Dar-Benn had made her understand that superhero work was a serious business where mistakes and failures could have serious consequences on others. Kamala also learned that Captain Marvel was not the perfect, flawless heroine she had always imagined, and saw that Danvers was also a person with her own flaws, who struggled with her past mistakes and regretted many of the life choices she had made, mainly Monica's abandonment and not having come back for thirty years despite her promise to do so. And as a result of that, Kamala had become more understanding and responsible after her time with the Marvels. She sincerely regretted the loss of Captain Rambeau and had come to consider Carol Danvers as a true friend rather than a mere idol to fantasize about.
Today, Captain Marvel was determined to find her immediately. And Kamala had decided to go with her. After saying goodbye to her family, she accompanied Carol on her spaceship.
The Hoopty hovered the places where Monica had sacrificed herself to avoid an incursion. There were only the stars and nothing else extraordinary.
"I had a hope that we would get something back here." said Captain Marvel after a silence. "Useless."
"It's not as if space has shown us a clue." replied Kamala, as helpless as she is.
Then something amazing happened. The Ms. Marvel's bracelet started to sparkle. Intrigued, the young heroine watched her family jewel produce a strange sparkling light.
"Carol, something's going on with my bracelet. The last time he did that was when our powers were mixed with Monica's."
Frowning, Carol approached her cautiously.
"You think it could lead us to reality where Monica is?"
"I don't know! I know nothing of its functioning." said Kamala in a daze. "Just the inscription on it that says, 'What you seek is seeking you.' That's all."
The bracelet began to produce a bluish glow that seemed to take on strength, which starved Carol.
"Kamala, what the...?"
Suddenly, the bluish glow made the two superheroines disappear, leaving only Goose, the alien cat (Flerken) in the cockpit of the Hoopty.
Captain Marvel opened her eyes and moaned. She had no idea what had just happened. She was first dazzled by a blue light and then... she must have lost consciousness. And she noticed that she was no longer on her space shuttle.
"What happened? Where are...?"
Ms. Marvel was unconscious on her body. She hastened to wake her.
"Kamala! Kamala!"
She awoke, moaning in turn.
"Hey, you don't have to scream. What happened?"
"I have no idea." said Captain Marvel, dazed.
"Where are we?" added Ms. Marvel. "Where is the ship?"
"I don't know."
Both of them stood up to discover their new environment. There were many buildings around them, one of which was topped with a golden globe. They seemed to be on the Earth. But something was wrong.
Stunned, Carol tried to reach her ally by communication.
"Fury? Fury? It's Carol, do you copy? Fury?"
Kamala took out her phone, and noticed that it was not picking up any signal.
"My phone died." she said frustrated.
"I can't contact Fury." added Captain Marvel with amazement.
Realizing that none of them could contact anyone, they gave up.
"It's weird." Carol said always intrigued. "Something's wrong. It looks like we are on Earth, but I don't feel like we are at home...'
"This city doesn't look like New York." Ms. Marvel said puzzled. "I don't recognize any of these buildings. Not sure that Jersey City is around."
"We may be in another reality." suggested Captain Marvel. "Or another completely new and unknown Earth to ours. The one where Monica met."
"The Multiverse exists? But how can we be sure? We could also be on a parallel Earth where there is no Monica." she reminded her friend.
"We might find her here." replied Carol.
They were about to leave the alley where they were, when they heard footsteps approaching. Carol's eyes widened as muscular men dressed in red and gold armor came towards them, armed with a variety of different weapons such as axes, hammers, spears and laser rifles. But what most taken aback the two superheroines was that men had wings that protruded from their backs. Some even flew in the air, floating a few feet above them.
"What the hell?" Carol said, stunned. (addressing the Hawkmen.) "Uh... Hi!"
"What the hell are these guys?" said Ms. Marvel intrigued also by the appearance of winged men.
The one who seemed to be in charge, advanced, gripping his spear between his hand:
"Halt! We picked up a large mystic energy signal from this area..."
He interrupted himself by noticing the outfits of the two superheroines Immediately, he brandished his spear towards the two new arrivals with a threatening look.
"You two, show us your identification!"
"What?" said Captain Marvel stunned.
"You heard me." the Hawkman replied with enmity. "Let's see your identification. Now!"
Carol and Ms. Marvel looked at each other with confusion and stupor.
"Uh... sorry, but my identification's a secret." replied Ms. Marvel bewildered.
"Can we find out who you are and what you want?" asked Carol in a diplomatic tone.
The Hawkman, presumably in charge, blinked his eyes coldly.
"We are the Thanagarian military force and we occupy this planet for its own safety."
"You occupy this planet?" said Carol, surprised, frowning in amazement. "The Thanagarian military force? It doesn't ring a bell!"
"Its safety from what?" added Ms. Marvel, frowning.
"That's enough!" said the Hawkman with scorn. (He addressed his fellow men.) "Take them away!"
Instantly, the other Hawkmen brandished their axes and advanced toward them.
Immediately, Ms. Marvel let out a sparkling light on her two fists, while Carol took the attack position by making energy burst into her hands.
"I don't feel these flying guys are friendly." said the Jersey City's heroine.
"That's what I thought too." admitted Carol, looking at their assailants with a neutral look.
Seeing that the two women had powers, the Hawkmen raised their axes on them.
"You have no rights." replied one of them in a hostile voice. "We defeated and captured your Justice League. Your armies have no power. Your only options are cooperation or death. Choose!"
But Captain Marvel gave them a hostile look by waving her radiant hands.
"I don't know anything about a Justice League. But you made a serious mistake in threatening us! Because you really don't know who you're fighting, guys!"
The superior Hawkman charged upon her with his axe. But the latter easily blocked his attack with her super-strength and fired a beam of photon energy on her attacker. She continued her attack by inflicting photon fire on him. He eventually collapses on the ground, under the weight of Carol's attacks.
The other humanoid hawks were amazed to see their leader being easily beaten by the young woman.
"My turn." said Ms. Marvel with ecstasy.
She raised her fists in the air, and stretched them into a giant waist that pushed back two Hawk-soldiers. She spoke to the others.
"Anyone else want to take a shot, guys?"
At this answer, the whole group started to charge on the Marvels. Some of them hit Captain Marvel, but the latter fired several photon shots that knocked them out.
The others attacked Ms. Marvel, but none could overcome her. She managed to dodge their attacks and created a crystal energy barrier that struck two men-hawks.
Satisfied, she looked at the falcons-men lying on the ground, addressing Captain Marvel.
"We make a good team!"
But her friend did not share her enthusiasm. She looked at the sky with stupor.
"Kamala! There are multiples! So many of them!"
The young woman looked up at her and saw with horror a multitude of spaceships above the buildings with hundreds of Hawkmen flying over the whole city.
"This is an invasion! We are outnumbered. We can't beat them by ourselves." said Carol.
Kamala nodded in horror.
"And after what we did to those, others will come! Let's hide! Fast!"
They went back in the opposite direction of the aisle, leaving the unconscious Hawkmen. While making sure they were unnoticed, the Marvels ran down a street and then finally spotted an empty Internet café. They entered it. Carol closed the door by hanging the CLOSED panel on the door so that she would not be disturbed.
Ms. Marvel settled in front of one of the computers still on. They hoped to get answers about flying invaders through the internet.
Captain Marvel stood guard at the entrance, watching the streets filled with Hawkmen who did not hesitate to scare the passersby.
"Who are these guys?" she asked, puzzled. "Why would they want to impose their law?"
After a while, Kamala turned away from the computer and turned to Carol.
"These alien invaders call themselves the Thanagarians. Apparently, they come from a planet called Thanagar. According to the media, they would have come to this earth in order to protect it from an alien race with which they have been in conflict for centuries, the Gordanians."
Carol blinked in disbelief. Are these aliens really here to fight an even more big enemy than them? Then why would they want to impose their law on the Earth?
"They're lying. If they really wanted to protect the earth, they would not impose their law on the people of the planet. They must have a more elaborate plan than that."
"How to find out?" remarked Kamala puzzled. "What about the army? Can't they do anything? The governments of this Earth let them act freely in their world?"
"One of these hawks said the army had no authority anymore." Carol replied. "They must have a very advanced technology to be able to neutralize all their weapons."
Captain Marvel turned outward, with her neutral gaze. From where she was, she could see Hawkmen walking in the streets with their axes to force people to keep order.
"What are we gonna do?" asked Kamala.
"We don't know why we're here." replied Captain Marvel turning back to her friend. "We're supposed to be finding Monica. If your bracelet brought us here, she must be on this new world."
But Kamala shook her head with pessimism.
"I have no idea how my bracelet works. We don't know which Earth we are on. We're not sure that Monica is really here. And even if she was on this Earth, there's no way to find it. With this alien invasion, the chances of finding her are low. Before we think about her, we should deal with these invaders. If Monica was with us, that's what she'd tell us to do."
Carol wanted to protest, but finally nodded her head, knowing that the Jersey City's heroine was right. They were out of options. Whether or not Monica was on this earth, they had no way of checking. The best alternative they had was to counter these alien invaders.
"Fine. How do we stop them?" she asked. "They are an army. We've no idea what weapons they possess. And we don't know what they really want either. We alone have no chance of defeating them. We need the Avengers."
"That's the problem." said Kamala with a defeatist look. "I've been looking online. I found nothing on the Avengers. And nothing about a Captain Marvel on this Earth. I believe they do not exist in this world. No Avengers, and no Captain Marvel!"
"Where are the Avengers when you need them?" Captain Marvel sarcastically said.
"You're right, we won't get over these hawks-guys." moaned Ms. Marvel.
Carol began to think, then a thought came into her mind.
"Maybe there are superheroes in this world. One of these hawks mentioned something called the Justice League. What is it?"
Kamala went to check out the Internet again and then told Carol:
"The Justice League is a group of heroes who protect this world. I believe they would be the equivalent of Avengers on this Earth. This League is made up of a powerful alien named Superman, the protector of a city called Metropolis, a night vigilante from Gotham City named Batman, who many consider to be crazy, the warrior of the Amazons, Wonder Woman, the last survivor of Mars, a Green Lantern star keeper, the world's fastest man, Flash and a Thanagarian named Hawkgirl."
"One of these flying invaders is part of the League?" said Captain Marvel in surprise, frowning.
"Hawkgirl, one of the lieutenants of Thanagar who has been on this earth for years, as a scout."
"She had to prepare this invasion for her fellow aliens." concludes the star-studded superhero. "And she must have betrayed her friends at the same time."
Kamala turned to the computer.
"One of these hawks makes an announcement to the whole Earth."
Then the screen showed an image of a superior Thanagarian who transmitted a message.
"This is Commander Hro Talak. In the name of the Thanagarian authority, we claim your planet as a garrison and have instituted martial law. Your world faces a crisis from which only we can protect you. But to be effective, we must be free to act and move without interference. Cooperate, and our stay will be brief and without incident. Stand against us, and our wrath will be unforgiving."
Then the image disappeared, leaving both Kamala and Carol amazed by the announcement that had just been posted.
"Martial law, huh? Really?" said Kamala, stunned. "These flying aliens said they captured the Justice League. If they really wanted to protect us, why would they have imprisoned the heroes of this world? They're not trying to defend the Earth against another invader. They hide their objective by using martial law. They have completely dominated the world. We must stop them. But without help, we'll not succeed."
"I suggest that we find this Justice League, free these heroes and join with them to save this world." suggested Captain Marvel.
"Okay. How do we find them?" Kamala remarked with a pessimistic look.
"I know where to start." Captain Marvel replied playfully. "While I was watching, I watched their ships fly over this city. I spotted one that is bigger than the others and there are some Hawks who seem to want to protect it. I think that's where they should be holding them. Come on, Ms. Marvel! Let's get going!"
The Thanagarians flew over the city of Metropolis, ensuring that citizens respected martial law. They did not notice a glittering glow that left the ground to reach the sky. Captain Marvel flew over the clouds in the sky without flying soldiers knowing it, while holding Ms. Marvel against her. She was heading for a Thanagarian ship.
In the Thanagarian prison ship over Metropolis, the Justice League was defeated and imprisoned. Each of them was locked in an individual cell designed for their specific powers. Superman was a prisoner, his arms chained, preventing him from moving under the red sun, thus blocking his super-powers. Next to him, the Martian J'onn J'onzz had his arms and legs chained to the sides, held by metals he could not cross, nor use his telepathy. Then, the speedster Flash was immobilized on the ground by gravity generators. Further on, Batman was imprisoned in another cell, hands tied, unable to use his weapons to escape. Wonder Woman was imprisoned in her cell, tied up with her golden lasso, the only object that resisted her strength. And for John Stewart alias Green Lantern, the Thanagarians had stripped him of his green ring.
The silence was accompanied by a sense of defeat.
But it didn't last long, because the spaceship started to tremble. One of the Thanagarian guards came to ask his fellow man the cause of this tremor.
"What's going on?"
"We are attacked!"
"By whom?"
A crackling voice in an intercom.
"We have a breach in the ship! Intruders have entered D6 and are heading to D7. All units, stop them!"
All the members of the League raised their heads with curiosity, wondering what was going on. Finally the door of the cell ward opened, revealing two individuals. A blonde woman dressed in a strange red and blue suit, accompanied by a girl with a similar costume but with a strange big lightning on it.
The two women noticed the heroes imprisoned in their individual cells.
"We have just found the prison." said the blonde woman. "I was right."
A Thanagarian warrior came at her, when the woman waved her hands, causing energy beams to appear that pushed him away.
"I'll take care of the hawks! Go and free them!" says the blonde woman to her sidekick.
The latter rushed to Superman, the first cell she found. She "enlarged" her hands into an energy construction that smashed the cell's control panel, immediately the red sun radiation faded away suddenly, then she opened the cell door and came to help Superman out of his cell. Apparently, this girl had powers.
"Who are you?" asked the Kryptonian, puzzled as he tried to regain his strength.
"I'm Ms. Marvel. We are here to rescue you." answered the girl, taking him out of his cell.
"Ms. Marvel?" said Superman puzzled, frowning.
And she made her way to the other cells, using her powers to free them.
"Kamala, they're coming." the blonde woman announced.
Immediately, the cell corridor was filled with Thanagarians armed with spears.
"You two, surrender or die!" one of them roars while brandishing his spear.
"You're welcome to try." replied the blonde woman sneakily, waving her hands sparkling with energy.
"I'm not gonna surrender!" Ms. Marvel replied with a glimmer of mischievous gaze.
The Hawkmen waved their spears on the blonde woman, but she let out energy from her hands, and immediately the energy shots destroyed the Thanagarian' spears. One of them ran towards her, wielding a mass, which he struck at her head. But the tool broke in two at the back of the woman's head. The latter was not even affected. As if she had a superhuman strength. Then she grabbed him by the body and sent him straight into the force field of Wonder Woman's cell.
The blonde woman fired an energy beam from her hand that blew up the cell control panel, freeing the Princess of the Amazons.
Once free, she slipped out of her lasso, then tied it to her hip and came to the strange blonde woman with super powers.
"Whoever you are, you have my thanks." she says with gratitude.
"You guys are the Justice League?" asked the blonde woman.
"Diana, Princess of the Amazons. And who are you?"
"I'm Captain Marvel. Perhaps explanations are best kept for later. More Hawks are coming."
Wonder Woman nodded her head and used her fists on the Hawkmen. Ms. Marvel used all her powers to free the prisoners. Batman and Green Lantern were the last. Ms. Marvel had her hands enlarged to break their big handcuffs.
"You're welcome, guys." she says to them, seeing their lack of gratitude.
Batman and Green Lantern watched him with disbelief and curiosity.
"Who are you?" asked John.
"We are the Marvels." replied the girl using her huge fists that struck several Thanagarians.
"The what?" Batman was intrigued.
"Are you a kid?" said John surprised at how young the girl was.
In response, Ms. Marvel made a disapproving pout at her. Then she turned to see three Thanagarians running towards them with hammers and masses. She stretched her arms to catch the invaders between her huge fists and push them away, as if throwing lead soldiers.
Green Lantern was impressed.
"No way!"
It was the battle in the spaceship. The few heroes of the League were fighting back with weapons taken from fallen Hawkmen. Four of them seemed to have their own unique super powers, ranging from flying, super speed, super strength, to heat vision shooting from their eyes. Ms. Marvel was fighting several Thanagarians, either with her energy powers or with the hammer she had taken from a fallen Hawkman. Multiple Thanagarians tried to reach Captain Marvel with spears and hammers. But no weapon could overcome the superhuman strength of the blonde woman.
A Thanagarian waved his spear at her, striking her in the chest, which caused no pain.
Amused, she replied:
"Hey, little birdie, did your mom ever teach you not to hit a lady?"
And she brandishes her fist to slap the hawk man in the face.
Another bearded Thanagarian carried a large cannon and came to aim it at the heroes. Ms. Marvel came into her path and made a huge energy shield come out of her hands that made the shot of the cannon ricochet. The discharge of the shot caused the hull of the ship to tear.
The hall suddenly became depressurized, and a strong wind swept in, taking with it everything that was not firmly anchored to the ground. Some fallen Thanagarians were taken away in turn. The heroes tried so hard not to be sucked in.
"We're losing altitude fast." declared Wonder Woman. "We need to go now!"
Superman with Batman hanging on his back, flew off the ship holding Flash. Wonder Woman turned to the Marvels.
"And you two?" she asked them.
"We got this." Captain Marvel assured her.
She grabbed Ms. Marvel and flew to the amazement of all. Wonder Woman caught J'onn and Green Lantern and left the ship by air. All the heroes were flying in the skies above Metropolis, while the prison ship crashed behind them into the ocean.
Captain Marvel, holding Ms. Marvel against her, was flying right in front of the Justice League.
"We have to hide somewhere where they won't find us." she told them.
Flash, who was held by Superman, watched the two new heroes fly past.
"You know, I could be wrong here, but it's possible that those ladies are on our side."
"We'll see." said Batman in a neutral voice.
"I wonder where they came from." added Superman intrigued to see a woman with superhuman strength like his.
