Returning to Yultim Volcano-Part 3
The group of Magic Knights, plus envoy(s) of the Heart Kingdom entered the Dungeon as a single group before the pathway split off in three directions, causing the group of Magic Knights to split up into three smaller groups.
"I have slight concern with the group that has Mereoleone in it." Rintaro commented in a worried tone of voice.
"I know what you mean, one minute she's there and the other she has disappeared." Rin responded in agreement.
One of the groups of Magic Knights consists of primarily the Sword of Logos Magic Knights and the envoy(s) of the Heart Kingdom with Leopold having decided to join them.
"If you two are that confident in talking about Mereoleone like that, then you won't mind if I inform her of this conversation?" Shan asked with a small smirk on her face.
This cause both the wielder of Nagare and the wielder of Hayate to pale.
"Please don't….." Rintaro said in a weak tone of voice.
"We're sorry." Rin said, also in a weak tone of voice.
Leopold started to laugh.
"You two will certainly be in big trouble if Mrs Kasper did tell Sister." Leopold commented with a wide smile on his face.
With Noelle, the silver girl in glancing around the tunnel that they are walking through.
"The Mana within this tunnel is making the temperature cooler….." Noelle thought before glancing towards Domi who seemed to look better, but the wielder of Argent-Couronne could see some slight heavy breathing.
"How are you feeling, Domi?" Donna asked, she having seemingly having the same thoughts as Noelle.
"I'm better than I was. Fillon is feeling better as well, thank you." Domi responded with a smile on her face.
This cause a small smile to appear on Donna's face.
"Just remember to keep up your Mana-Skin on. You may never know when the temperature within the Dungeon changes." Ekrixi instructed, the previous wielder of Rekka being front of the group, causing the envoy(s) of the Heart Kingdom to nod her head.
"Sir Staria." Leopold said, causing Ekrixi to turn his attention towards the Crimson Lion Magic Knight.
"How skilled are the people of Wonder World in Mana-Skin and Mana-Zone?" Leopold asked, seeing how Wonder World is more richer with Mana.
This cause Ekrixi to hum slightly.
"I would say that the citizens of Wonder World will be a powerful fighter when they are able to perform Mana-Skin and Mana-Zone. But in an environment like Wonder World where the Mana is more richer than the four kingdoms, it would take a lot longer to have complete mastery of these techniques." Ekrixi explained, making Leopold nod his head.
"Although since Mereoleone is already skilled in Mana-Skin and Mana-Zone, I would say that will have a much easier time than anyone else in the four kingdoms." Shan commented in a thoughtful tone of voice.
"I don't think anyone wants to imagine Lady Mereoleone having mastered Wonder World version of Mana-Skin and Mana-Zone." Secre commented whilst everyone else shudder in fear at the prospect of a more destructive Mereoleone.
"Hmm. The same could applied to Mana-Method." Domi commented in a thoughtful tone of voice.
"Really?" Rintaro asked, making the wielder(s) of Eien no Midori to nod her head slightly.
"Advanced Mana-Skin, advanced Mana-Zone and advanced Mana-Method. Asta will certainly be a powerful Magic Knight if decided to learn these techniques." Noelle thought, knowing that Asta will take any opportunities to grow stronger.
The thought of the current wielder of Rekka caused a sad expression to appear on Noelle's face.
"Need to focus on the mission." The silver hair girl thought shaking her head in the attempt to remove any negative thoughts.
"Heheh." Rin started to giggle.
"Hm? What are you thinking?" Ekrixi asked as he and the others glanced towards the wielder of Hayate whilst the previous wielder of Rekka increased his senses in case there is something invisible in the air.
"I was just imagining on what sort of Magic Items would find in treasure room." Rin responded with a smile on her face.
This cause everyone to relax, them having the same thoughts as Ekrixi.
"You do remember that treasure rooms within Dungeons usually have deadly traps in them, right." Rintaro pointed out, making Rin nod her head.
"I know, but it is nice to imagine the Magic Items we can find." Rin responded, still having a smile on her face.
"…...Now that I think about it, we haven't came across any traps." Secre commented, causing everyone to freeze as they realize the same thing.
"We could have been lucky back then when split up into groups and chose a path that didn't have traps laid on it…..." Leopold offered, attempting not to become nervous.
"If that is the case, then we should be worried about the others." Ekrixi pointed out, a serious expression appearing on his face.
Eventually, the group of Magic Knights came across a section where the path is littered with stalactites and stalagmites.
"Hmm. This will take some time to navigate." Shan commented as she examined how close the stalagmites are to each other.
This was proven true as the group of Magic Knights weaved their way across the tightly placed stalagmites.
"Egh! At this rate my clothes will become messy!" Noelle thought in her head, shuddering at the thought.
It was at that moment that one of Noelle's feet fell into a small crack on the ground, causing the silver hair girl to stumble forwards and would have likely get stabbed by the smaller stalagmites, but luckily managed to catch herself by grabbing a stalagmite.
"Noelle! Are you okay!?" Donna asked as she and the others became alarmed.
"I'm…..fine, thank you." Noelle responded whilst her heartbeat quickened.
As the silver hair girl started to straighten herself up, the stalagmite that she is holding onto suddenly moved.
"Hm?!" Noelle said whilst becoming alarmed herself.
It was at that moment that a faint rumbling can be heard.
"Er…..what just happened…?" Leopold asked, starting to become slightly nervous.
The rumbling started to become louder and Ekrixi, who is still at the front of the group, saw a faint light in the distance.
"Hm? What's that…...oh….." Ekrixi thought before starting to realize what the light is.
"Well, Secre! We've found our first trap!" Rin shouted as she and the others saw a wave of lava heading straight towards them.
"The stalagmites! They're placed to prevent escape!" Donna thought in realization as she and mostly everyone else attempted to escape the tightly packed stalagmites.
"Here we go, my time." Ekrixi thought before concentrating on the Mana within the air.
The stalagmites suddenly started to sink into the ground, causing the Magic Knights, apart from Shan, to become shock.
"The walls!" Ekrixi shouted as he ran back, grabbing Noelle whilst doing so.
The Magic Knights, plus envoy(s) of the Heart Kingdom, managed to get into holes that the previous wielder of Rekka took note of, which were luckily enough to be far above the ground and everyone was luckily enough to avoid getting burned.
After a few minutes, the current of lava disappeared.
"W-what sort of trap is that?!" Fillon demanded, she having quickly took control as Domi stood frozen.
"One that is suitable for the environment that we're currently in." Secre responded in a simple tone of voice.
"How are you two doing?" Shan asked as she glanced towards Rintaro and Donna, the two of them haven chosen the same hole to hide in.
"I'm fine. You?" Donna responded whilst saying the last part to Rintaro.
"I'm good." The wielder of Nagare responded.
Luckily, the hole was big enough so that the two of them wouldn't get into too much of an awkward position.
"Why don't people show some concern towards me!" Rin shouted from her position.
Whilst the others used the holes to avoid getting hit by the lava, the wielder of Hayate decided to used a stalactite to avoid the lava.
"Why did you even decided to use the stalactites in the first place?" Leopold asked with a raised eye-brow.
"It was the first thing that came to mind." Rin responded as she kept a firm grip on the hanging stalactite.
"I think that Sir Ekrixi was referring to these holes." Leopold responded whilst sweat-dropping.
Noelle released a deep sigh at the decision that Rin had made to avoid getting hit by the lava.
"Er….Sorry for carrying you in such a manner." Ekrixi responded with an awkward expression on his face.
Currently the silver hair girl is being held with one of Ekrixi's arm wrapped around her waist.
"I'm fine, thank yo-" The wielder of Argent-Couronne began to say whilst turning her head upwards before stopping as an image of Asta suddenly replaced the previous wielder of Rekka.
"Noelle?" Ekrixi asked, starting to become concerned.
"I'm…..fine. I think the heat is starting to play tricks on my mind." Noelle responded quickly whilst turning her head away from Ekrixi.
"…" Ekrixi became silent as he stare at the silver hair girl.
"You certain know how to make your former partner jealous." A voice commented, causing both Ekrixi and Noelle to look up and saw Shan with a slight pout on her face.
"What are you talking about? I just saw that Noelle will be a bit slower than everyone else because of her almost crashing onto the ground." Ekrixi explained in a confused tone of voice.
"Hmph." Shan responded whilst crossing her arms.
"Yep. Sir Ekrixi certainly possess the same characteristics as Asta." Noelle thought whilst Ekrixi gained a perplexed expression on his face, seeing the current wielder of Rekka reacting in the same way.
After Fillon used "her" magic to make sure that the ground is suitable to walk on again, the group of Magic Knights, plus envoy(s) of the Heart Kingdom, continued their way through their chosen path, eventually ending up in a rocky area void of lava.
"Finally! Somewhere with a cooled atmosphere!" Fillon cheered,
"Wow. Your certainly a wimp." Rin commented, causing the wielder(s) of Eiem no Midori to snap "her" head towards the wielder of Hayate.
"What did you called me?!" Fillon demanded, becoming angry.
"Wimp." Rin responded with a grin on her face.
The wielder(s) of Eien no Midori growled angrily and was on the verge of punching the wielder of Hayate but stopped when she and the others started to hear the sound of battle.
"It would seem that the others ran into trouble." Sarha said with her Grimoire already beside her, the former wielder of Endless Dash having planned on holding the wielder(s) of Eien no Midori.
"Come on, we better hurry." Ekrixi said as he he started to run forwards with others getting battle ready.
It took them a few seconds to reach the place of battle and saw the rest of the Magic Knights fighting spider-like monsters.
"Those are-!?" Both Noelle and Leopold thought at the same, the two of then recognizing the same type of monster that attacked them earlier.
"There you! I was beginning to worry." A voice called, causing the newly arrived Magic Knights to turn their heads towards the source of the voice to see Fuegoleon.
Next to him is Salamander who has just released a stream of fire at a pack of the spider-like monsters.
"What happened?" Ekrixi asked as he examined the battlefield and saw that the Crimson Lions seemed to have the battle in a controlled state.
"Mine and Mereoleone's group got to this location and was waiting for you until we got ambushed by this monsters." Fuegoleon explained, making Ekrixi nod his head slightly.
"Brother, where is that large one that me and Noelle ran into earlier?" Leopold asked as notice how these ones are more smaller than one that attacked him and Noelle.
"Sister and a few others are dealing with it. There must be other entrances to the Dungeon." Fuegoleon responded whilst gesturing towards a direction, implying that the larger spider-like monsters used an entrances to enter the Dungeon before hand.
"Okay then. Time to get rid of these bugs." Ekrixi said before glancing over his shoulder.
"You lot deal with these smaller ones whilst I go and assess the situation with the larger version." Ekrixi explained, implying that he may or may not give the Crimson Lions aid.
This cause the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights and envoy(s) of the Heart Kingdom to nod their heads.
"Hang on a minute. You're not going to leave me behind." Shan said with a small frown on her face as she began to chase after the previous wielder of Rekka.
"You go as well, Leopold. It will be good experience for you." Fuegoleon said, causing Leopold to become surprise before nodding his head.
"Yes, Brother." Leopold responded before following the previous wielder of Endless Dash.
"Huh. These things sure are a troublesome bunch of monsters." Mereoleone thought as she scan the larger spider-like monsters.
Despite what Fuegoleon said, Mereoleone and some of the Crimson Lions Magic Knights are actually fighter a few spider-like monsters which are on the large side with the one that Noelle and Leopold encountered being the biggest.
"But what's up with that larger one, it's Mana seems artificial….." Mereoleone thought, a small frown appearing on her face as she stared at the biggest spider-like monster.
It was at that moment that one of the large spider-like monsters shot a line of web towards the former captain of the Crimson Lions.
Mereoleone engulfed one of her fists in flames and punched the incoming web, disintegrating it.
"Is that all you're going to throw at me?! A piece of web?!" The former captain of the Crimson Lions demanded, causing the attacking spider-like monster to make angry sounds before jumping onto one of the multiple rocky pillars that are holding the cave's ceiling.
"And what will changing positions do?" Mereoleone questioned just before the spider-like monster fired another line of web.
With quick reflexes, Mereoleone seemingly teleported next to the attacking spider-like monster and throw a barrage of punches, eventually leading to the spider-like monster to fall onto the ground.
"Hm, a new dish to try." Mereoleone thought with amused expression on her face.
However, it was at that moment that the former captain of the Crimson Lions sensed a presence next to her, causing Mereoleone to whip her head to the side to see another of the spider-like monsters preparing to attack.
"Lady Mereoleone!" A Crimson Lion Magic Knight exclaimed and would have launched a spell at the spider-like monster if it wasn't for that they and the few others weren't dealing with the others, regardless of the fact that they may get chewed out by Mereoleone herself later.
"Magma Magic: Dragon's Volcanic Breath." A voice announced and the spider-like monster was suddenly assaulted by a stream of lava, which possess a rocky texture to it.
The spider-like monster screamed in pain before collapsing onto the ground became motionless.
Everyone looked in the direction that the attack came from and saw Ekrixi with his Grimoire glowing.
"Hmph. You know that I can handle that." Mereolone commented just as Ekrixi approached.
"What? It's been a while since I have a good stretch." Ekrixi responded with a small smirk on his face.
This cause the former captain of the Crimson Lions to gain a smirk of her own.
It was at that moment that the remaining spider-like monsters started to make sounds as if they are frustrated with all of them, except the lasgest one, scuttering forwards.
Everyone prepared to attack, but was prevented as a new voice voice spoke.
"Sand Magic: Cat's Sand Pit." The voice spoke and the ground suddenly collapsed and transformed into a swirling mass of sand.
"Oh? Deciding on joining the fun?" Ekrixi questioned as he glanced over his shoulder and saw Sarha.
"Absolutely. You wanna finish them?" Shan questioned, making Ekrixi nod his head just as the pages of his Grimoire began to turn before stopping.
"Magma Magic: Dragon's Rage." Ekrixi announced and spikes of rock, that have lava-like vein, burst out of the swirling sand and pierce the spider-like monsters, causing them to scream in pain.
The Crimson Lion Magic Knights, minus Mereoleone, have stunned expressions on their faces.
"Whoa! Those two are strong, and they are in their elderly years." Leopold thought as he stood back, wondering how powerful Ekrixi and Shan would be if they were equipped with their Holy Swords.
Leopold then turned his attention towards the remaining spider-like monster, the same one that he and Noelle ran into.
"That one will be more powerful than the others." Leopold noted as he felt the artificial Mana coming off the spider-like monster.
Speaking of the spider-like monster, it was preparing to attack just as the others became on guard.
"I can't just stay back and let the others handle the situation." Leopold thought with a serious expression on his face before running forwards just as the largest spider-like monster seemed to be on the verge of attacking.
Mereoleone perked up slightly before glancing over her shoulder and saw Leopold.
"Leo/Fire Magic: Spiralling Flames." Leopold announced, firing two spiral-shaped flames which struck the spider-like monster. Whilst it seemed that it didn't do any damage, the spider-like monster halted it's attack.
"It didn't do any damage, tch." Leopold thought in annoyance as he examined the non-existence damage that he caused. "
Leopold…." Mereoleone growled in a low tone of voice.
"Yes, Sis-!" Leopold began to say but was cut off as he was suddenly grabbed by a fire-shaped lion paw.
"What are you doing here?" Mereoleone demanded as he glared at her younger brother.
"Er…..Brother suggested that I should come here for experience….." Leopold responded in slight nervous tone of voice.
Mereoleone stared at Leopold for a few seconds before sighing.
"Why I'm not surprised." The former captain of the Crimson Lions muttered whilst releasing a deep sigh.
"Lady Mereoleone! It's going to attack again." One of the Crimson Lion Magic Knights said, causing Mereoleone, Leopold, Ekrixi and Sarha to turn their heads and saw that the spider-like monster is preparing to attack again.
Everyone moved, with Mereoleone deciding to let go of Leopold, just as the spider-like monster released a line of web where it started to make a hissing sound once it struck the ground.
"Hm? What sort of properties does the web has?" Ekrixi thought, a small frown appearing on his face.
With the spider-like monster, it glanced around at the Magic Knights who have started to scatter about it before focusing it's attention on Leopold.
"Huh?" Leopold said in a slight stunned tone of voice with widened eyes as he saw eight eyes staring at him.
"Keep moving, Leopold!" Ekrixi called, making Leopold nod his head before jumping slightly to avoid getting hit by a line of webbing.
"What the hell am I doing?! I'm a member of royalty and Magic Knight of the Crimson Lions! I shouldn't be running around!" Leopold shouted in his head before suddenly stopping whilst the pages of his Grimoire began to turn.
"What is that fool doing!?" Mereoleone shouted in her head, yet a part of her became curious as to what her younger brother has in mind.
Everyone watched as Leopold held out an arm where fire started to gather, forming a concentrated point of blue flames.
A thin beam of flames suddenly shot forwards, striking the spider-like monster straight in the head.
The spider-like monster started to scream in pain whilst blue flames started to spread across it's body before smoke started to raise into the air along with blocking everyone's view of the spider-like monster.
"Huh. So he did managed to do something." Mereoleone thought, a small smirk appearing on his face.
"Well done." Shan commented as she and the others regrouped.
"Thank you….?" Leopold said before noticing something just as the smoke began to thin.
When the smoke completely disappeared, the body of the spider-like monster has disappeared, leaving a much smaller spider and a small cube-shaped body which destroyed.
"Is that…." One of the other Crimson Lion Magic Knights muttered as they and the others stared at the small spider which moved, looking at them.
This caused them to become on guard, but the spider just ran away.
"Should we….." One of the other Magic Knights began to say, but when they saw that the seniors have their attention on the cube-shaped object.
"This is….." Shan muttered as she walked forwards and picked up the object whilst sensing some weak Mana coming off it.
"I think that's a Magic Item, a destroyed one though." Ekrixi commented as examined the pretty much destroyed Magic Item.
"Leopold..." Mereoleone growled in a low tone of voice, slowly turning her attention towards her younger brother.
"Y-yes?" Leopold asked, flinching slightly underneath her sister's gaze.
"Haaaa. The water sure is nice." Rintaro commented in a relaxed tone of voice.
As of right now, everyone is relaxing in a spring which is located somewhere close by to the Dungeon, the hot atmosphere acting as the heater for the spring.
Using his magic, Ekrixi have created a wall by summoning lava and then rapidly cooled it, transforming it into rock.
However, Mereoleone was keen on destroying the wall, much to the horror of the two genders, but was stopped by Fuegoleon.
"Y-yeah. It sure is." Leopold responded, still feeling the ringing of Mereoleone's rant within his head. Leopold glanced towards Ekrixi.
"I wonder if I can ask about Asta?" Leopold wondered before starting to become slightly worried about how the former Magic Knights of the Sword of Logos reacted when he first introduced himself.
"Or maybe I could ask Rintaro to ask Mr Staria." Leopold thought, seeing how the wielder of Nagare may have a much easier time.
"Ekrixi. How's Asta training with Calibur?" Fuegoleon suddenly asked.
"Or I could have asked Brother." Leopold thought, sweat-dropping before realizing something.
"Calibur?" Leopold asked, making Fuegoleon nod his head.
"Yes. Some time ago, a new wielder of Kurayami emerged and seemed eager to aid in the situation with Primitive Dragon, claiming that she's making preparations for a future event which mostly it the upcoming war with the Spade Kingdom." Fuegoleon explained, making Leopold blinked his eyes before turning his attention towards Ekrixi.
"Whilst I'm still having some doubt about Finsternis, Calibur's real name, she's truthful about wanting to aid my grandson...Although I'm a bit worrid about her mental state." Ekrixi responded, yet Fuegoleon frowned slightly.
"What do you mean by that?" The captain of the Crimson Lions asked, becoming curious.
"You must be aware of how the wielders Kurayami are able to foresee future events which tends to cause them to act in a...darker manner." Ekrixi explained, making Fuegoleon nod his head slightly.
"So what stage is Asta at with his training….?" Rintaro asked, deciding to take a shot of asking a question.
This cause Ekrixi to smirk slightly.
"I'll wait until the Spade Kingdom invasion for Asta to show the results of his training?" The former wielder of Rekka asked, causing the wielder of Nagare, and the two Vermillion brothers, to become alert.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" The three thought, starting to become worried.
"Your mother?" Shan asked, becoming confused as she stare at Noelle.
On the other side of the wall, it was mainly quiet until the wielder of Argent-Couronne asked the former wielder of Endless Dash about Acier.
"Yes. I was wondering your thoughts about her." Noelle explained, becoming curious. Sarha began to frown slightly.
"Well, if you want detailed information, then you should ask Ekrixi. However, I have seen Acier a few times when I visit Ekrixi and my sister, she was close friends with Richita. Your mother was also friends with Sayo, who you may know as Kamen Rider Kris, the swords-woman of mirages." Shan explained, making Noelle nod her head slightly.
"That would makes sense with how she behaved towards me during that time…." Noelle thought, a sad expression appearing on her face.
"Richita is Asta's mother, right?" Domi asked, remembering hearing the name before the group entered the underground cavern of Yultim Volcano.
"That's correct, Asta's mother was friends my mother when they were still alive." Noelle explained, making Domi nod her head before realizing something.
"Would that make you and Asta childhood friends?" Domi asked, causing Noelle to shake her head in response.
"No, but that would have been a possibility if they were still alive." Noelle explained, making Domi nod her head again.
"At first I was concerned with my niece's safety since Acier was a member of the Clover Kingdom's royalty, acting in arrogant manner, but relaxed how friendly Acier was." Shan added, causing Noelle to sweat-drop.
"That's the upper-class of the Clover Kingdom for you." Fillon commented in a blank tone of voice.
Throughout the time everyone spent in the hot springs, Domi and Fillon have been switching in and out.
This cause Noelle to glare at the wielders(s) of Eien no Midori before turning her attention back to Shan.
"S-so. What did they usual do together?" Noelle asked, becoming curious.
However, the silver hair girl and everyone else became surprise when Shan gained a sheepish expression.
"Well, Richita and your mother like to fool around, which tends to whine people up and such, especially towards Acier due to her status." Shan explained in a sheepish tone of voice.
"You can say that again..." Mereoleone muttered, remembering the times in past where she saw Richita and Acier together.
This cause everyone to become curious and want to learn more.
And there we go, the final segment of the joint training exercise where we gained got an insight of Ekrixi's magma magic whilst Noelle learned a bit about her mother and her friendship with Asta's mother.
Chapter 372 and chapter 373 of Black Clover have been released which involves the battle between the Silva siblings and their mother which include Noelle showing new spell through her dragon/Valkyrie form and Nozel showing a new spell as well which basically transforms him into a mercury version of the Silver Surfer, yet cause him damage due to how mercury is poisonous. The most important part of the battle from my point of view is the fact that both Solid and Nebra finally apologise to Noelle, confessing their own reasons for mistreating her. The battle showed Acier's second magic which I find ironic because in this story, Noelle's title as a Kamen Rider is the "swords-woman of steel" whilst using water magic and with Acier, her original magic is steel magic whilst her given second magic is water magic.
In Gotchard:
1) Geryon went to Fuga's laboratory, where Spanner is currenly recovering in, and requested his help with rescuing Atropos, saying that Gaelijah is planning on transforming Atropos into an existance called Chimera and cause death and destruction on Gaelijah's command. The two reached the location where Atropos and Rin are being held captive, but Gaelijah took the two to a artifical space and forced the two into a Russian Roulette.
2) Houtarou, with him, Sabimaru and Renge searching for Rin, found the location where the duel is taking place, but couldn't entered the space due to the rules that Gaelijah has placed. However, Gotchard managed to enter the space, saving Fuga's life, before breaking everyone else out.
3) Unfortunatly, Geryon decided to alter Gaelijah's work so that Chimera will be under his control. Rin entered the battle, taking over from Gotchard, but was easily overwhelmed by Gaelijah and was on the verge getting killed by the Dark King, but Atropos took the hit instead.
4) Taking Atropos's origami, it transformed into the Promise Alchemy Ring, along with transmutating the Alchemist-Driver into the Majesty-Driver, and transformed into Kamen Rider Twilight Majade. Gaelijah attempted to pedict Majade's movements, but couldn't foresee Atropos's movements, which then leads to her defeat. Geryon obtain half Gaelijah's fragment of the Philosopher's Stone, whilst Gigist took the other half, before disappearing.
So another Dark King has bite the dust, just leaving Gigist, alongside Majade gaining a new form...at the cost of Atropos's life. At the start of the episode, I thought that Geryon had a change of heart due to the kidnapping of his daughter, yet was just a facade to get Fuga's aid and now he possess half of Gaelijah's fragment of the Philsopher's Stone.
So a new trailer for Kamen Rider Gavv has been released which revealed that Shoma is in fact someone from another world along with the enemy of show called Granute with the leaders called the Stomach Family where they possess a mouth in their stomachs.
