AN: Sorry for not updating sooner. Been having few health problems which driving me nuts at the moment, plus my husband been battling new health problems. my mother in law and both brothers in laws been in hospital in the past couple of weeks and my father been in hospital few few days because of surgery to get rid of kidney and bladder stones which been causing few problems for him.
CH 38
The crew smile when they saw Nikki alive and well. "We will take these men back onto Hammersley and head for home" mike said
"not yet sir"
"Nav we got to get you to a hospital to be check over" Mike said
"After you catch Ray Walsmen"
"Nav orders from commander Marshal" Nikki put her hands on her hips
"sir you are fours hours away from where Ray Walsmen is. These guys" she pointed to them
"Are on there way there with me."
"Nav I got to follow orders" Nikki laugh
"sir you follow or bend them. Look I'll be on Hammersley safe and well protected. Sir this is the only opportunity to catch him and we have got the perfect Trojan horse right here"
"she right sir" buffer said
"alright you buffer you take Nav back to Hammersley"
"no sir, buffer stays here, I know he want to get his revenge on Ray Walsmen for what he has done not only to him but to me also. Let him stay sir"
"aright I'll stay as well, but you go strait to the ward room once on board"
"After I've been to the galley sir" Crew laugh
"Ok that enough, take these men back onto Hammersley and put them down in astral" Mike said then they start moving the men to the first HRIB.
"sir not him" Nikki pointed to one of them
"Why"
"He the leader and you need him to talk to Ray Walsmen when you guys get closer"
"Good idea Nav"
Spider pull the guy back while the others got onto the HRIB with couple of crew members then they were taken back to Hammersley. The the other HRIB showed up The other boarding party got in then Buffer help Nikki in after he gave her a kiss.
Once she was seated and got a life vest on the HRIB back away then turn around and headed back to Hammersley. Mike spoke to Kate before the others went to different areas of the boat.
Mike, Swain and buffer were in the wheel house as swain started the engines then they carry on to the same direction knowing that Hammersley would be following.
When Nikki was back on Hammersley she watch as the crew took the men down to the astral then she walk down to the galley where she got her self some thing to eat and drink when Bomber walk in
"Nav you are suppose to be in the ward room"
"I know I told the captain I will after being here. I'm so hungry and thirsty right now"
"didn't those guys give you any thing"
"nothing"
"what, well I'm getting breakfast on"
"Ok don't let me stop you"
"Thanks" They talk while bomber started getting breakfast on.
When Nikki finish having some thing to eat and drink she leave bomber to her cooking. Nikki went and got the biggest pair of overall she could find and boots in her size and went in to Pete and Swain cabin where she had a quick shower and gotten dress.
Then she left her uniform on Pete bed then she walk out and up onto the bridge where RO saw her "Welcome back Nav"
"Thanks RO" Kate turn around in from the captain chair and laugh
"Well it the best I could find" Nikki said as the overalls was five times larger than her
"I can see that, here sit down" Kate got up and move out of the way so Nikki could sit in the captain chair
"How are you feeling" Kate asked
"I'm good, have you contact commander Marshal"
"Yes he please that you been found and that your ok"
"That good, I should give Nick a call"
"It still early"
"I guest your right, how was Pete when captain told him"
"angry, he even yell at Mike but apologize later, Mike under stands"
"that good, if not tooth brush duties" Kate laugh
"so what happening"
"We know where Ray Walsmen is, when we get closer two HRIBS would be tailing the boat till it time"
"that good to know that it will be over soon"
"True" They talk as the sun started to rise.
When it was time two HRIBS left Hammersley and speed off one direction while Hammersley went off another. Nikki watch from the captain seat as every thing went to plan.
Hammersley came from one direction from around the coast while the boat with the two RHIB came strait from the sea. Mike buffer and Swain were on the boat while the guy talk to Ray Walsmen.
When it was time "Insert, insert, insert" mike said
then the two HRIBS appeared from behind the boat and headed strait to Ray Walsmen larger boat when men show up on deck firing at them so the navy throw smoke Granada onto the deck then they were able to board the boat.
There was fire fight on board for a couple of minutes by that time Swain stop the boat next to Ray Walsmen bigger boat. Buffer already jump onto the boat
"where Walsmen"
"don't know buff" spider said.
Buffer went looking for Ray while the boarding team check the wheel house and other parts of the ship while the others tie up the men that they caught. Buffer went down below deck where Ray Walsmen try to shoot buffer but miss so buffer went after him tacking him to the ground.
They both forth till swain and mike showed up. They watch ray and buffer fight till buffer punch Ray few time then he stood up and step back "That for kidnapping my wife" Buffer said yelling at Ray Walsmen
"Swain" Mike said.
Swain went over and check Ray Walsmen out then help him to stand up and put the cuffs on him Ray was smiling as Swain took him up to the back of the boat. Mike look at buffer as he turn to the captain
"I'm ok Sir"
"you did good"
"thanks Sir" Buffer walk towards mike
"Lets head back"
"Good Idea, I want to check on Nikki" They walk back the way they came.
Mike had two men on both boats so they could sail to Samaru island while Mike, Pete and the others return back to Hammersley. Once back on board and there gear was put away bomber saw mike and buffer
"I save some breakfast for you two and the others"
"thanks bomber, I'm going to go and check on Nikki" Buffer said
"she on the bridge"
"What she suppose to be resting" buffer walk quickly as he could to the bridge.
"She didn't want to miss the action sir" Mike smile
"thanks bomber" mike walk towards the bridge him self.
When buffer walk up on the bridge he could hear laughter. He look around for Nikki till he saw her stick her head around the corner of the captain chair so he step fords and turn around with his arms cross then he drop them when he saw what she was wearing then smile
"Nikki that is to big for you"
"In some areas it is" she put her hands on her stomach while Kate and Flipper laugh.
"Laugh all you two like, you would be wearing these if you were looking like a me" Nikki said to them
"We know" Nikki then turn to Pete
"Feeling better" Nikki asked
"I was going to ask you"
"I am" she lean forward and grab his hand then pull it towards her so he step closer to her as she put it on his stomach.
He smile when he felt the baby kick "We feeling better"
"That good to know" then he bend over as kiss her just as mike walk up the steps to see what was happening.
"Now if you will excuse me I need to go to the head" Nikki said as she stood up.
Pete move from where he was so Nikki could turn around and walk towards the steps when she saw mike raise eye brows and a grin on his face
"don't you say it sir" Nikki said as she walk to the steps and down them.
Mike watch her walk down the step and through the door. Then he turn to Kate
"where did she get those overall from they look like one of Charge old overalls" Mike said the crew burst our laughing
"It is" Kate said then they heard
"spider stop laughing do you want tooth brush duties" They heard Nikki yelling.
"Well some things hasn't change" Kate said smiling
"True"
Five hours later they dock at Samaru island where they handed Ray Walsmen and his men over as well leaving both boats in the Samaru island police hands. While there mike decided that they crew could do with the night off and to celebrate the capture of Ray Walsmen so the ones who wasn't on duty went to a bar for drinks.
Buffer op to stay on Hammersley to spend it with Nikki who was using his lap top to Skype to Nick to let him know that she and the baby is fine when Pete walk into his cabin to see Nikki talking on the lap top so he walk up behind her and bend over
"Hi dad I'm happy you found mum"
"thanks Nick, I'm happy also"
"When are you coming home"
"In a couple of days"
"I can't hardly wait." He said smiling
"I know we can't wait either" Pete said
"See you in couple of day Nick, love you" Nikki said
"love you to mum, dad" they wave to each other then click onto a button the the Skype page disappeared.
Nikki turn the lap top off then turn the chair around to Pete as he crouch down "How are you feeling"
"Tied"
"come on, let me take you to the senior sailors cabin"
He stood up then he help Nikki up from the chair then they walk out of his cabin and down to a cabin where Nikki will be sleeping which is in Bomber cabin. When they got there Pete pulled back the blankets for Nikki
"Pete can you do some thing for me tonight" Pete smile as he raise his eye brows she slap his arm
"Pete, not that, can you wash my bra and panties, I been wearing then for the past couple of days and since I'm going to be on board..."
"Let me help you" He said as he put his hand on the zip and pull it down.
Nikki giggle "I always wanted to remove your overalls off you"
"Now you can" Pete help her out of her clothes and in to bed.
"Dam is a shame I can't join you" Nikki laugh
"Wait till we get home"
"Good idea. Nikki where did you get the tee shirt and socks from?"
"your draw"
"Oh well top is a bit stretch" Nikki laugh
"sorry"
"Hey it ok" he bend over and kiss her.
"Get some sleep and these will be clean by morning"
"thanks Pete" he kiss her once more before he walk out the door closing it behind him.
Nikki snuggled down and turn off the light then she close her eyes and fell into peaceful sleep. Pete was on duty when the crew return drunk he was checking the boat deck when they return
"Looks like you all enjoyed your selves"
"Sure did mate, it a shame that you and Nav couldn't join us" spider said
"I know, good night"
"good night" the crew said.
Pete finish doing his rounds then return back to the bridge where another sailor is on watch with him.
The next morning Pete went to wake Nikki up and help her to get dress while he told her about the drunken crew which made her laugh
"Feeling hungry"
"Sure am"
"shall we" they walk out of the cabin and down to the galley to get some breakfast.
Nikki giggle when she saw how drunk they were then she turn to Pete "Remind you of another time where they got drunk" Pete grin
"Yeah my bucks night"
"True"
"Morning Nav, morning buffer, what will it be"
"My usual thanks bomber" Pete said.
So she dish it up and pass it to him "Nav"
"Bacon, eggs... any hash browns"
"In a minute"
"Ok I'll wait, oh and toast if there any left"
"Got some in the toaster"
"Ok"
"I'll go and join the hung over crew" Pete said
"Ok" He walk down and into where the others having there meals.
When the toast and hash browns were done Bomber dish up Nav her breakfast
"Is there enough, or do you want more" Nikki lean over
"Has change been yet"
"Nope"
"Well sure why not after all I'm feeding for two" bomber laugh
"that true" Bomber gave Nikki some more then pass it to her
"thanks"
"Enjoy" Nikki pick up a knife and fork then she walk to the officer mess and open the door and walk in then close it behind her.
She sat down and started eating when she stop when she felt a shape pain for a few second.
She rub her stomach "what going on, little on I hope it not what I think it is" then she felt a kick so she carry on eating when the door open
"Here I got you some orange juice" Bomber said as she put a large glass of juice on the table
"thanks bomber"
"your welcome" then she walk out when Nikki heard "any hash browns left bomber" Charge said as the door close.
Nikki finish her breakfast then she walk up to the bridge to find out what was happening. "Morning Nav" Mike said as he offer her the captain seat
"thank you sir and morning to you" She sat down in it and turn to see him smiling at her.
"so what happening today beside sustain crew members getting over there hang overs from yesterday little party"
"Crew stocking up on supplies then we will be heading home"
"Good"
"How about you, how are you feeling"
"Good thanks you sir"
"and the little one"
"Reminding me with a kick or two" She said as she put her hand on her stomach as the baby kick.
They talk about other things till Kate and Pete walk up onto the bridge. "Sir we are ready to leave"
"Every thing done X, buffer"
"Yes sir" buffer frond then he walk over to the captain chair and saw who was sitting in it. He then smile
"So there is where your hiding now"
"Me hiding, Pete look at the size of me" she gestated with her stomach
"I know" he put his hand on it and felt a kick. Then he turn to grinning Mike and Kate
"Ok lets head home" the crew went and do there normal duties till they were out at sea.
An hour later Mike and Kate were down in his cabin talking as well doing paper work while Flipper was catching up on her sleep since she was on gut watch.
Nav was looking out over the ocean when the phone rings so she pick it up
"Hammersley lieutenant Tomaszewski speaking... morning sir... down in his cabin with the X sir..." Nikki grin
"no sir, they doing paper work from what happen yesterday... yes sir I'll tell them... ok I'll get RO to get it now for the captain..." when she went into shock
"What" she yell in the phone
"sorry sir... when... how many sir...I'll tell them... yes sir" then she hung up and turn to RO
"RO there a fax coming through for the captain can you get it please"
"Nav are you ok" RO asked as he walk over to her
"RO the fax"
"Yes ma'am" then he walk down the steps when he saw buffer
"buffer"
"RO what is it"
"It Nav, she gone into shock I'm going to get Swain and the captain"
"what happen"
"Phone call from commander Marshal" then he turn and walk away. Buffer turn and ran up the step and step forward quickly till he was looking at Nav.
"Nikki what wrong" she look up at him
"We not safe"
"Yes we are" she shook her head just as Swain and bomber ran up and onto the bridge and over to where Pete and Nikki is.
"Ray Walsmen and the men you arrested escaped from police custody half an hour ago by a group of rebels. Two police officers were killed" Pete Step forward so Nikki could hug him as she cried.
