Beelzebub after the Sinsmas party got back to her mansion in the Gluttony Ring; she had a great time at her niece's party but soon her mind came to one thing: the mistletoe kiss of Charlie and Loona that she witnessed. She was able to spot Vaggie's reaction to it and how she was fine with it; no need to worry about that breaking them up. All good on that part...
But something else on her mind about that...
Going to her bedroom and looking at the framed pictures hanging on the wall; all sorts of memories but she was focused on the hundreds of ones that had her with Charlie on her birthdays and at Sinsmas parties. Day outs at amusement parks when she was babysitting Charlie; them smiling as she was spoiling her with all sorts of treats. She really did mean a lot to her.
She got to bed and woken up in the morning; what she had seen still on her mind. She had decided what she would have to do that day. A text from Vortex came up on her phone as she grabbed it from her jacket pocket from where it was being hung up:
You up for anything today? Still on my break from work.
Beelzebub thought about talking to Vortex about what was on her mind; Loona being his friend and all but decided against it. No need to drag her worries into this.
Sorry Tex; maybe later. Want to do something today.
She looked at the three flashing dots expectedly as his reply came in:
Got it.
Beelzebub was thankful that he didn't want to inquire further; now need to make another trip to the Pride Ring.
Beelzebub quite honestly... Fucking hated the Pride Ring, especially Pentagram City. An overcrowded city of sinners with a lot of sleazy ones with ones who would at best wolf whistle at her or they would be idiots in trying to take a feel of her. She felt like she always had to twist one wrist or elbow with every trip to the Pride Ring she makes. Hardly any normal sinner knew or cared who she was.
Still the Hazbin Hotel was easily spotted by her and she knocked on the door; she kept knocking as she heard the annoyed voice of the demon she wanted to talk to shout out "yeah yeah, I'm coming..." Loona opened the door and her annoyed look quickly fell to a surprised one as she asked "Bee... You're back already?"
Bee then gave a wave as Loona invited her in; "Loona... Anything happened after I left for home?" Beelzebub asked putting on a smile to greet her but Loona just shook her head.
"Not really... I'm always glad to see you... Not so much at the trial but... Whatever fuck... Sorry but you have a reason to come here? Should I get Charlie or..." Loona asked as Beelzebub shook her head looking more serious.
"Actually... I wanted to see you... I noticed you and Charlie under the mistletoe and..." Beelzebub then answered as Loona then became red in the face. "Yeah... Don't worry... I am not accusing you of getting between her and Vaggie or some other shit like that but... I can't help but notice how you reacted to it..." Beelzebub then answered with a sigh as Loona became nervous.
"Really... I don't know what you mean... Just a kiss... I shared with her who is super energetic, positive, sweet... Which I feel like I should fucking hate but she makes it so contagious and so fucking hard to not love her plus she is also beautiful and... FUCK..." Loona shouted out loud as Beelzebub then got her answer.
"So you like her like that..." Beelzebub then asked as Loona faced her looking more nervous.
"Is that a bad thing..." Loona asked as Beelzebub knew that she wasn't looking forward to this talk but she felt like she needed to.
"Loona honey... Make no mistake; I really like you... A cool badass bitch who likes not to take any shits and Tex speaks highly of you... But... The idea of you pursuing Charlie..." Beelzebub then said and then stopped herself as she shook her head. "Listen Loona... I am sorry but someone like you; I can't help but think that you could end up hurting Charlie without meaning to with how you are... If that happened... Sorry but I've known her all her life; my darling niece and the closest thing to a kid that I ever had... If I have to take a side if you hurt her; sorry but you will never win that..." Beelzebub admitted honestly as Loona was open mouthed at that.
"I could hurt her... I would never want to... I would hate myself if I did..." Loona said head down and Beelzebub gave a smile as it looked like what Loona felt was at least genuine; not just something like simple lust.
"Hey... If you are serious about how you feel then let her know when you are ready... Just be careful how you do it... I know that you wouldn't want to but if you did... Sorry but you saw my big monster form and if something happened to her; I wouldn't be able to control myself..." Beelzebub assured her and Loona then gave a small smile.
"Loona; do we have a guest... AUNT BEE! You're back again already!" Charlie was saying as she came into the hall wearing a nightrobe and excitedly came up to Beelzebub who grinned.
"Sorry just wanted to talk to my pal Loona here but any excuse to see my niece is fine by me! Did you get much sleep..." Beelzebub then answered and looked concerned when she saw that Charlie wasn't one hundred percent awake.
"Sorry... Was a busy party last night and when we went to our room... Vaggie and I... Well..." Charlie admitted sheepishly as Beelzebub grinned and Loona shook her head.
"I already can tell... I still remember what Vaggie said to that creepy sinner girl at the trial under the truth thing..." Beelzebub then said as Loona looked away thinking to what she heard last night:
"BLITZ! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! STAY OUT OF OUR ROOM!" Vaggie yelled angry.
"I heard the yelling and... I'm a security and it sounded... How was I supposed to know that you are up to that sort of thing... Nice moves with the whip though Princess..." Blitzo yelled back and Loona covered her head with her pillow as she tried to get back to sleep.
Yeah people did misunderstood what I was setting up with the ending of the last chapter but easy mistake to make.
