Ellie was grateful for the second chance challenge in the game. She thought it was all over for her when she got voted off of the Cyan Team but now she was back to hopefully win the whole thing and the best part was that she had been partnered with Gabby and had her by her side once again.
Ellie still felt a bit guilty after rewatching some of the episodes back at the Loser Motel. Looking back, she wasn't very fair to Gabby at all and seeing how much pain she put Gabby through by keeping the Villains' Alliance a secret weighed heavily on her.
However, that was all in the past and Ellie knew she could do better than how she was before, all she needed to do was win this challenge so she can help Gabby out.
Suddenly Gabby skidded to a stop which caused Ellie to stop too to see that pretty much all of the motorcycles had their tires slashed:
"Oh no. Someone messed with all the motorcycles." Ellie said angrily.
"Are there… anymore left?" Gabby asked worriedly.
Ellie took one look around before finding a motorcycle in the back and smiling.
"There's one back there." Ellie smiled excitedly before hopping on the motorcycle with Gabby sitting behind her, "Hold on tight to me, Gabby. This'll be a bumpy ride."

As Gabby and Ellie were riding their motorcycle, Ellie decided to break the silence between the two. After all, it had been a while since they talked.
"Hey Gabs, while we're still on the motorcycle, we may as well make the most of our time together. How are things at camp?" Ellie asked curiously.
"I'm working with the villains in your place. We're doing very well." Gabby smiled excitedly.
"Awesome but I gotta warn you, don't get too attached to them. You can't trust people like that to have your back. There's no honor among thieves." Ellie told her girlfriend carefully.
"Are we stealing something…" Gabby asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Nah, it's just a saying." Ellie chuckled good-naturedly, "The point is you have to be ready to turn on them before they turn on you."
Gabby looked thoughtful at this but before she could dwell any longer on that, they made it to the top of the hill where Ashley, Alec, Riya, and Yul were pulleying Jake, Fiore, Connor, and James respectively.
"I'll go down, you do the pulley." Ellie smirked towards Gabby who nodded before Ellie put on the harness and allowed Gabby to start lowering her down.
As Gabby was lowering Ellie down, she then began overhearing Alec and Riya whispering to each other.
"Hey Riya, we need to get Fiore back in the game. Anyone else could potentially end the villains' streak." Alec whispered sternly.
"Oh don't worry, I'll make sure the old man goes nice and slow." Riya smirked before slowly moving the lever holding Connor.
"I guess I can go slow too." Yul smirked as he slowly moved the lever.
"Wait. What about Ellie? She's part of our alliance too." Gabby said angrily, interrupting Alec and Riya much to their shock.
"Oh sorry Gabby, we didn't see you girls show up. Yes, this plan also applies to Ellie as much as it does for Fiore." Alec smiled reassuringly before continuing to lower Fiore down.
"I can hear you, y'know!" Ashley said angrily though Gabby could tell the rage was meant more for Alec and Riya then her.
"Do I look like I give a shit." Riya smirked mockingly.
"Why is it so hard for you lot to play fair?! I expect this from you and Alec, but Gabby?! Why are you doing this?!" Ashley asked incredulously though Gabby could detect the disappointment in her tone.
"I… I just want Ellie back in the game." Gabby replied harshly.
"Gabby is just realizing what losers you all are. Nothing to be ashamed of." Riya smirked vindictively before heading towards Ashley's pulley, "Here. Let me help you."
Riya and Ashley began fighting over the latter's lever before Riya broke the lever off.
"You BITCH!" Ashley cried out furiously.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Jake cried out as Ellie widened her eyes while she was nearing the lake. She may not like Jake but she did not plan on letting him die.
"Are you okay Jake?!" Ellie heard Ashley cry out in concern.
"I think so…" Jake said, concern seeping through his tone.
"Riya broke the pulley! They're all sabotaging this challenge to get Fiore back in the game!" Ashley announced angrily.
"They're what?!" Ellie and Connor cried out incredulously, the former more furiously than the latter as Ellie finally grabbed the wrench in a huff.
"Sorry Connor! Guess you're next! Have a nice fall!" Riya laughed maniacally as she broke off her lever, sending Connor falling.
"Fuck it. If we're all letting go." Yul smirked before breaking off the lever holding James, sending him falling as well.
"I have the tool, Alec." Fiore said happily as she finally went to take the wrench.
"Raising you now." Alec smirked causing Fiore to blow a raspberry at James.
Meanwhile Connor grew a determined look, grabbed the wrench and began climbing up the rope.
"So you're all just trying to get Fiore back in. What about Ellie?!" Gabby asked furiously from back up the hill, "You better not be backstabbing us!"
"Wait a moment Gabby, that's not what's fully going on here." Alec began speaking nervously as he tried to reassure the nature lover.
"So why did Ashley mention Fiore specifically?" Ellie asked suspiciously as Gabby was raising her up at the same pace as Fiore.
"I'm just trying to win immunity. It's not personal. I'm truthfully fine with either of you getting back in the game." Alec explained hastily.
"So you ARE only trying to benefit yourself by getting me back in the game?!" Fiore asked furiously which caused Alec to widen his eyes.
"No, that's not what I-, it's just-, let's just continue the challenge and discuss this later." Alec stammered as he began to sweat before both he and Gabby brought Fiore and Ellie up.
Ellie immediately stepped back on the ground and undid her harness before running with Gabby to begin tightening the screws in her glider along with Alec. She was also making sure to double check if the screws were all in place because as much as she wanted to get back in the game, she wasn't about to risk Gabby's safety to do it.
"I just need to tighten a few screws." Alec told Fiore who still gave him a cold look which unnerved the man.
"Fiore, listen. I know it sounded bad when I said I was okay with Ellie getting back in the game but you know how valuable of an ally she is." Alec sighed as he turned to face Fiore who's face softened before she smirked at Alec.
"Whatever. Just keep going. Nothing's in our way." Fiore rolled her eyes with a smirk.
"Ugh! Not if I can help it!" Connor cried out angrily as he got up the hill much to Riya's surprise.
"Huh? How did you get up?" Riya asked incredulously.
"Thanks for the help Riya. You realize if I lose this, you won't get immunity next round." Connor reminded the actress.
"As long as you're gone. I couldn't care less. Now you know how it feels to have a helper who makes you lose!" Riya said angrily.
Ellie didn't give a shit about their argument but she finally felt the screw stop turning which meant it was all tightened in.
"Done." Ellie and Alec chorused in unison much to Ashley's fury.
"C'mon Gabby." Ellie said hurriedly before she and Gabby began running off and began gliding alongside Alec and Fiore.
"I won't let you get away with this!" Ashley growled before taking a lasso out and throwing it onto Alec's legs much to his and Fiore's horror and the two fell back onto the hill while Gabby and Ellie continued to glide towards the finish line.
"Did Ashley just… save us?" Gabby asked in shock.
"Probably only did it to get revenge on Fiore. We should just focus on the challenge and keeping ourselves from splatting on the ground." Ellie shrugged before soon enough, she and Gabby flew across the finish line.
"Ellie and Gabby are the first to arrive, with that, Ellie has earned her way back into this game." Kristal announced happily through her megaphone.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Ellie cheered excitedly.
"Plus she and Gabby will have immunity for the next elimination." Kristal added in which only allowed Ellie and Gabby to smile more at each other.
"W-We did it." Gabby exclaimed happily with tears in her eyes as she embraced Ellie.
"Are you okay, Gabs?" Ellie asked curiously.
"I-I'm just so glad to have you back. Y-You mean everything to me, Ellie." Gabby explained happily which made Ellie nearly look away in guilt, still remembering her conversation with Tess in the space episode and how she treated Gabby throughout the season. Maybe this time, she can fix what she almost broke.
"You mean everything to me too, Gabs." Ellie smiled back before she and Gabby shared a kiss.

Jake sat on top of the rock miserably as he looked at the night sky. The heroes' fates were practically sealed at this point. It was public knowledge at this point that Ellie had returned to the game. Not only did the villains have another number in their favor but with her in the game, there was no chance Gabby was going to flip now. Ellie hated Jake more than anything, and in all honesty, he couldn't really blame her at this point. He basically had proved her point with how he acted towards Aiden last challenge and got Ashley eliminated due to his own spiteful nature.
"Hey… you doing alright homie?" Ashley asked solemnly.
"How can I be doing alright? Ellie's back in the game and it's clear the moment she gets the chance, I'm done for. Not to mention, Ally and Aiden both hate me. We're all just gonna get picked off one by one. It's hopeless at this point." Jake sighed solemnly.
"Don't count yourself short Jake. You made it to the final five back in season one after all and if it helps, I think you shouldn't dismiss the idea of Ellie and Gabby flipping sides so easily." Ashley smiled reassuringly.
"Really? How come?" Jake raised an eyebrow.
"You remember that I didn't hold a grudge on Ellie back in the jet when she made those interviews? Don't get me wrong, those interviews stung, but I doubt life's been easy for her if her confessionals from season one are anything to go by. I've watched her in season one, she may not be the nicest person out there but she does have a heart, more than Riya and Yul have at least." Ashley explained.
"I used to think Ellie had a heart too. And… I'm gonna be honest, a part of me still does but I don't know if I can fully trust that." Jake admitted sheepishly.
"You have every right to feel that way and I'm not saying you need to talk to her now, it was just a suggestion. Though one thing I am certain of is that you need to fix things with Aiden and Ally. You haven't exactly been treating them fairly." Ashley advised.
Jake nodded in agreement. He knew for a fact that was something he definitely needed to work on as soon as he got the chance.

Alec was beaming with pride. Today was a great day for the villains. Sure, it sucked that Fiore would not be returning to the game but Ellie wasn't the worst option for an ally either. The Villains' Alliance would surely thrive now that she was back and he would be ever so closer to winning the three million.
"Alec." A familiar voice spoke behind Alec to which he turned to face Connor.
"Oh… hey Connor." Alec said nervously, "Listen… I know you getting voted off must have been awful but I knew you couldn't be around Riya. She was only hurting you."
"I know. And it's a game, I'm already over it but I needed to warn you. I've seen how far Riya is willing to go to win this game and keep up her villain persona. So for her and your sake, just keep an eye out for her and make sure she doesn't go too far, alright?" Connor explained.
The stern tone Connor used did not go unnoticed by Alec, he was dead serious about this whole situation and if Connor was really giving him this warning, he surely meant it.
"Alright, I'll be careful. Thank you for the heads up Connor." Alec said gratefully.
"No problem." Connor smiled back.

Ally, Tess, and Hunter were all hanging out by the beach as Ally sighed sadly. This comeback challenge did not go the way she wanted it to and now both of the people she was closest to were now leaving her alone again.
"It sucks that the comeback challenge didn't go as well as we hoped." Ally said sadly.
"I'm sure it'll be okay babe. This game is full of surprises. Right Tess?" Hunter calmly reassured his girlfriend but Tess looked like she had something on her mind.
"Hey Ally… can I ask you a favor?" Tess asked curiously.
"Can you make sure Ellie and Gabby are okay? This game can really bring out the worst in them and I doubt being around the villains will really help matters. Besides you two, they're good friends of mine and… I don't want them to get hurt." Tess asked sadly before Ally patted the goth on her hand comfortingly.
"Don't worry Tess. If they're that important to you, I'll make sure to keep an eye on them." Ally said reassuringly.
"Thanks Ally. And good luck in the game." Tess smiled back.
"No matter what anyone says, we will always be your number one fans." Hunter said which made Ally blush, causing all three of them to hug each other.

It was now late at night. By now, all the former eliminated contestants had been brought back to the Losers Motel and the rest of the cast had gone back to their tent to sleep for the night. The only one who was still awake was Aiden. His anxiety was through the roof now that Ellie had come back. Not only did the villains have the numbers again, but he was sure that Ellie and Gabby might target him for elimination due to his and Ellie's arguments back on Cyan Team.
Deciding that he wasn't going to be getting any sleep, he decided to get up and take a walk to clear his mind.
As he was getting out of the tent, he noticed Jake sitting on a log looking miserable.
"Oh… I didn't think anybody else would be up." Jake said in shock.
"Neither did I." Aiden chuckled nervously, still feeling awkward given their last interaction.
"Since we're up, we should probably talk about what's been going on. Are you still mad at me?" Jake asked sheepishly.
"A little… I won't lie." Aiden admitted, he may as well be honest after all.
"Would apologizing help? I know I screwed up and I want to change but I can understand if you hate me." Jake said solemnly.
Aiden's first instinct was to roll his eyes and turn down his apology but then he remembered his conversation with Lake and how everyone deserved a chance to right their wrongs. After all, James proved that to him… right?
"Well… it's definitely a start." Aiden smiled reassuringly and much to Jake's surprise, he smiled back.
