After the speech, Korra and Kuvira waited for their master to come to them with new orders. Mako was already getting their ship ready to fly off.

"Well, that philosophy Darth Vader advocated was rather at odds with everything I was taught to believe," the ghost of Aang noted. "I admit, the way you were raised was rather atypical for an Avatar, Korra, but I'd expect them to have taught you differently."

"You're an Air Nomad, I'm a Water Tribal, of course I'd be taught different things than you," Korra replied. "Such as how it's okay to kill your enemies. After all, even if you take away their power, they can still cause trouble for you."

"If I didn't save Zuko at the Pohaui Stronghold, I never would have prevailed," Aang replied. "Maybe Ozai and Yakone made trouble later, but they were far less dangerous than before."

"And by handling my enemies with lethality, they are never a problem again," Korra added. "Besides, imprisoning them forever is just pointlessly cruel."

"Perhaps," Aang admitted, reflecting on how lonely someone could get while imprisoned.

"What of you embracing the Empire?" Roku asked. "You are doing what Sozin offered me, when he tried to convince me to join in his conquests."

"I am in a position no Avatar before me ever was," Korra replied. "The sky is filled with all manner of life, friendly and hostile. Our world has no way to defend against the thousand dangers out there, natural or otherwise. We can't protect ourselves without help, and the Empire, the largest faction, doesn't spare resources for worlds that aren't members. Every other space faring nation is hostile, too far away, or unwilling/unable to help. Technology, not Bending, is how we protect our world from the outside. Technology that we can't make ourselves, much less learn how to use."

"True," Avatar Kyoshi said, acknowledging Korra's problems. "But do you believe our world will be held as an equal to more prominent Imperial worlds?"

"Soon, this world we be one of the most secure in the whole galaxy," Kuvira intruded, seeing the Avatar ghosts. "You're welcome, by the way."

"For what?" Kyoshi asked, an edge to her voice.

"For destroying the Dai Li, your greatest mistake," Kuvira proudly stated. "They tried to force me into their ranks, when I was a girl, and after everything fell apart, I destroyed them. By the way, Aang, the secret police of the wider galaxy, the Jedi, did all the same things as the Dai Li, and betrayed Emperor Palpatine because they didn't like the changes he made. Unlike you and Kuei, Palpatine didn't just imprison the main leaders, he had the entire organization purged and the survivors declared outlaws. As a result, everything turned out fine for him."

"Past mistakes don't justify new ones," Kyoshi retorted. "Also, some would think you and your followers are betraying our people just as they did."

"Don't be ridiculous," Kuvira replied. "The Dai Li were so committed to stagnation, they ensured our country's defeat. Then they joined the Fire Nation rather than accept their game was over. Darth Vader and the Empire saved us from being eaten by starved monsters in a slug man's arena and has been helping us improve the Earth Nation ever since. So what if I accept there is a ruler above me? I'm still allowed to rule my own domain the way I please."

"So, it's your domain?" a concerned Roku asked.

"I beat all the petty kings down, I brought order and peace to these lands, running water and electricity to most of it, and made an alliance no one ever thought possible," Kuvira boasted. "I think that shows I'm strong enough to deserve to rule the Earth Nation."

"Those advances you restrict for yourself," Kyoshi accused.

"Nope," Kuvira proudly stated. "Leaving aside the things I've made available to everyone, I gave my mother the Holocron which taught me Lavabending, and Force Lightning, among others. I disagree with Su sometimes, but I trust her with secrets from the outside galaxy." After saying what she wanted to the ghosts, the Great Uniter walked off to a meeting room.

"So, might makes right?" Roku asked Korra, reflecting on what Kuvira had said about deserving control of the Earth Nation.

"She did more to fix the Earth Nation in my absence than anyone else," Korra replied. "She shouldn't go unrewarded for it. Even if that good for nothing prince survived the attack on Republic City, what exactly did you expect me to do? Beat up Kuvira, put him in charge, and watch him ruin everything she achieved?"

"Compromise with your friend, crown Wu the new king, and help him learn his responsibilities, like you have," Roku answered. "Or have you forgotten the responsibilities you were chosen for?"

"I am firmly aware of my responsibilities," Korra stated. "The White Lotus was determined it was all I should care about, with nothing else in my life. The foremost was my duty to the balance of the world. I decided that putting Wu in charge wouldn't help the balance my duty is based around. I'd tell him to go back to being a lounge singer, and he'd have done it. But the Hutts killed him before I could." After a moment, Korra noted that bringing back knowledge and understanding was another duty of the Avatar.

"This Sith Creed sounds rather sinister," Roku said. "Where might makes right, and everything, from cheating to duplicity, is acceptable."

"Wrong," Korra confidently stated, remembering her lessons from Vader. "Victory by any means is NOT desirable. If your victory doesn't demonstrate some sort of strength on your part, it is worthless, at most, an illusion. So much for cheating being acceptable."

"Then there is more to it than the surface," Aang said, before asking if she believed the Empire would value their world as much as they did. Korra knew it was a trick question. No Imperial had been born on Elementia, which was relatively underpopulated in comparison to other worlds, and on the edge of the galaxy. Not that it would matter, as the Death Star would be moved in a few months to the planet's orbit, meaning the Empire would go out of its way to protect the location. Instead, she answered in a different way.

"Darth Vader doesn't value one world above another," Korra said to Aang. "The Emperor understands that what affects one world affects others. The Benders I have created and trained are eager to learn more about the power I gave them. Many Imperials have befriended my fellow Southerners, and your grandchildren. Does everything in the galaxy revolve around Elementia? No, but that doesn't make us expendable." At that moment, Darth Vader came in and complimented Korra for understanding that.

"By the time our plans reach fruition, Korra, Elementia will not be a vassal but a member of the Empire," the Sith Lord said. "With all the benefits, and obligations that entails."

"Of course, Lord Vader," Korra answered. "What are your orders?"

"I think it is best if you and Mako visit the Western Air Temple, and see how the Airbenders are adjusting," Vader said. With that, Korra led her Sith master to the shuttle, where Mako was waiting. The ghosts dissipated shortly before the ship took off.

"Mako, after this, you should reclaim your position in the Republic City Police Force," Vader told the Firebender.

"Are you sure, my lord?" Mako asked. "I doubt anyone except Lin and Asami will be pleased to see me."

"The URN needs to be educated on the wider galaxy, and how the Empire is here to help them," Vader said. "You are perfect for this, given your close relationship to Lin Beifong, one of the only two intelligent leaders of the URN."

After hearing the speech, Suyin Beifong and her family weren't sure what to think of the Sith philosophy. Opal noted how Bolin's feelings, or rather passion, for her was why he was able to save her while they were adrift in space.

"What about the part called Peace is a Lie?" Huan asked.

"That the Sith gain their power from emotions, as opposed to silent contemplation," Bolin said. "What's wrong with that?"

"Nothing, per se," Suyin said. "Still, letting your emotions guide your actions is a dangerous proposition."

"Does Vader seem like a temperamental, barely restrained lunatic?" Bolin asked. "He strikes me as pretty calm, perhaps because he doesn't suppress his feelings constantly. He just draws power from them." He then held up the Holocron that Kuvira had given to Suyin. "The teaching program will only react to you, if you approach it the way the Sith advocate. No amount of power will make a difference." Wing was rather willing to give the Sith way a chance, given how the Empire had enabled him to walk again, while Wei would go along with whatever his twin would do. Opal had tried to connect to the Holocron before, but had always failed, implying that she just didn't have the strength necessary to unlock it. Suyin longed to learn Lavabending, and she didn't want to reject a gift her adoptive daughter had entrusted to her. Huan was extremely wary of Vader's brand of Bending, and Baatar Sr couldn't help but be scared of the 'Dark Side' as Vader's power was called. But they would stand by Su as she tried to learn from it, and hope for the best.

Mizuki and Luke both practiced with their lightsabers. Mizuki did rather well deflecting shots from the training remote, so Obi-Wan decided she would be the first to do the test with blinders on. "Your eyes can trick you," Cal said. "And sometimes, they can't see anything." Mizuki wondered if this was how Toph Beifong taught her two daughters seismic sense. At first, she could only hear the vague noise of the remote moving, and it hit her from behind. Obi-Wan told her to reach out with her feelings. She did so, and her senses were heightened, allowing her to block the next three shots.

"Good work," Cal said, as Mizuki took off the helmet. Luke quickly got the hang of it, as well, and Obi-Wan smiled at the sight. After their lightsaber training was done for the moment, Luke decided to ask more about the Jedi Code.

"There is an alternative version that goes 'There is Emotion, yet Peace' and so on," Obi-Wan began. "Your father appreciated that version more, since it acknowledged that the first concept on each line was real, but hiding a greater truth."

"When we say 'There is no Emotion, there is Peace' we mean that a Jedi should be calm when making decisions," Cal continued. "You will be Ignorant about some things but should strive to approach a situation with Knowledge. Passion can be misleading, while Serenity will rarely fail to guide you. The galaxy might appear Chaotic, but the Force acts to keep everything in Harmony. Death is not the end, as all life returns to the Force."

"Wise words," Mizuki said, being reminded of what her parents often advocated. She asked them what exactly the danger of the Dark Side was, and how it might trick you.

"I came across an interesting story while looking through the lore Cere and others had managed to save," Merrin began. "I think the story of Darth Sion will illustrate that point perfectly."

"Who was he?" asked Luke.

"His original identity is lost, as his story was almost four thousand years ago," the Nightsister explained. "The tale says that he learned the secret of eternal life. By harnessing his rage and passion, he was able to heal from any injury and keep standing no matter what he went through. Even as his body was broken repeatedly, he drew strength from his agony, giving him the moniker the Lord of Pain. He killed many Jedi and other heroes, frequently inflicting a terrible death on his captives, and infiltrating enemy strongholds through pretending to be dead."

"What stopped him?" asked Mizuki.

"The final Jedi hero he fought made him realize the truth," Merrin explained. "The Dark Side had given him a way to live forever, but there was no joy to be had for him, given his constant agony. And any life he had before was long gone. Even if the Dark Side gives you what you initially pursued it for, it will take away the reason you wanted it to begin with." Mizuki and Luke thought over that lesson, while Obi-Wan kept how he'd faced two different Sith too angry to die, and how Anakin lost his wife seeking a way to save her. After a few moments of reflecting on that story, Luke asked Obi-Wan how he met his father.

"It was almost thirty years ago," Obi-Wan began. "I was one step away from being knighted, and my master, Qui-Gon Jinn, and had been sent to the world of Naboo, to negotiate with the Trade Federation. We thought that it was a simple blockade protesting a new tax, but that was merely the smokescreen..."

Bumi and Kya had said their goodbyes to their family at the Western Air Temple, and at that moment, Boba Fett's ship landed close by. It had a very distinctive engine sound and landed on its 'back' where the engines were. It had two cannons on either side, and two wings coming from the sides of the cockpit. It was mostly light green and grey metal, while its bottom was brownish-red. The door opened, and the Mandalorian bounty hunter exited the ship and led them inside to where the siblings would be seated. They saw that the inside of the ship had a gyroscopic mechanism which tilted the pilot and the passengers based on whether it was flying or landed.

"You fastened in?" asked Boba, when they joined him in the cockpit.

"Yep," Kya said as she and her brother clicked in their harnesses. With that, Fett launched the Firespray-class pursuit and attack ship. After they had left the atmosphere, Fett jumped to lightspeed.

"It'll be twelve hours before we meet up with Bossk," Boba announced. "I'm going to check the wall cabinets to make sure they are in working order. Don't want any prisoners to suffocate by accident, after all."

"Wait, you put your prisoners in those wall cabinets?" a surprised Kya asked, with Bumi also shocked.

"You can fit more bounties that way, and they are harder to escape," Boba answered. After he finished inspecting the confinement cells, Bumi decided to change the subject.

"So, cloning is rather common in the wider galaxy," he began.

"Every spacefaring civilization clones replacement organs," Boba answered. "Cloning limbs is a bit harder, so most people settle for normal prosthetics. Also, a few animals have been saved from extinction through cloning, over the years."

"Well, I guess Tenzin and Zuko should check that out," Kya noted. Many Sky Bison were killed when Sozin slaughtered the Air Nomads, and their rarity made them a valuable target for poachers. While in addition to his crimes against the Air Nomads, Sozin also started the tradition of sport-hunting dragons. Most historians were of the opinion that, sense his aims were very much at odds with what the dragons taught their Firebending students to do, that he wanted to destroy the source of the original Firebending techniques, which focused on warmth and light as opposed to destroying all in your path.

"What about cloning people?" asked Bumi.

"That has happened a few times over the millennia, but it wasn't until I was born that it hit a major scale," Boba answered.

"I figured, given those 'Clone Wars' everyone keeps mentioning," Kya said. "But you are different from the other clones of that era, right?"

"Yes," Boba answered. "Jango Fett was hired to donate genetic samples to create the ultimate army. Their growth was sped up so they'd reach adulthood at age ten. But in addition to the money, he wanted a son to raise. One that wasn't altered in any way." Upon hearing Boba's origin, Bumi asked what it was like growing up as a clone.

"I spent most of my childhood on Kamino, the world where the clone army was created," Fett answered. "Apart from the clone army and my father, the only Humans present were an assortment of mercenaries Dad had recruited to help him train the army."

"What is Kamino like?" asked Bumi.

"It's a world that is technically outside our galaxy," Fett answered. "Long ago, the surface sank beneath the waves, with an endless rain blanketing the planet to this day. The Kaminoans built their cities on stilts atop their tallest mountains before that happened and took to cloning themselves to keep up their population, along with animals to eat."

"What are the Kaminoans like?" asked a curious Bumi.

"Skinny, pale, long-necked, and utterly emotionless," Boba answered. He proceeded to explain the idea of Eugenics, which creeped out the siblings, and how the Kaminoans practiced it extensively. "They tossed out every trait they deemed undesirable, including compassion, and became obsessively perfectionist. Whether you were a Kaminoan with green eyes, or a clone trooper shorter than the others, the result was always the same: dissection to see what went wrong. In the case of clones this would often extend to their entire batch. By the time they started cloning my father, they'd been this way for so long that anyone who didn't act that way was seen as illogical or outright inferior."

"They sound creepy, and horrible," Bumi noted, exchanging a frightened glance with his sister.

"And the best in their field, hidden outside the galaxy, so they got the contract for the Republic's clone army," Fett replied. "They were also a bit morbidly curious, as shown by how they made a second clone of my father that was unaltered. Well, almost unaltered, since Omega was a girl." That baffled the siblings, you could make a copy of someone that was also the opposite sex?

"So, you no longer live there?" asked Kya.

"Not since I was ten," Boba answered. "After Dad was beheaded on the battlefield, there really didn't seem to be much on Kamino worth staying for." He was ten years old when he saw his father die violently? a surprised Bumi thought. He hadn't mentioned anything of a maternal figure, so he must have grown up alone. Perhaps it was no surprise that he took to such a dangerous lifestyle as a bounty hunter. Kya thought to herself that Boba spoke as if the Kaminoans were dead but decided not to ask him about that, just yet. Right now, she wanted to ponder the meaning of the Sith Code that Vader had revealed.

"So, how was your father hired to be the donor for the clone army?" asked Bumi.

"Remember how I said he destroyed a Death Stick operation?" Boba asked, to which the Airbender remembered, noting how Boba said it was being used by a cult to turn people into zombies. "Well, the Bando Gora cult was causing a lot of trouble for the people behind the clone army. So, they offered a substantial bounty for the death or capture of its leader. My father succeeded, and learned it was also about finding a 'prime clone' as the template is called. On the way, he even got Slave One, here."

"What, did he buy a new ship when his old one wasn't up to snuff?" asked Kya.

"No, he had to get someone out of a corrupt prison, and when his ship was destroyed, he stole this one," Boba casually revealed.

"Isn't stealing from a prison a crime?" asked a shocked Bumi.

"Not if you blow up the entire asteroid the prison is built into during a riot, leaving no one the wiser whether anything was stolen," Fett answered, shocking them further. "And afterward, well, no one cared about how he got this ship. It's been almost thirty years since then, the statute for stealing a ship at the time was five, so it's no longer a problem." After that, Bumi and Kya decided to stay quiet for some time while contemplating the Sith Code they'd heard over the radio.

Korra maneuvered the shuttle to the Western Air Temple, seeing Boba Fett's ship taking off. Hopefully, she'd be able to catch Tenzin and Katara before they left. As they landed, they saw Tenzin and Katara there. As they exited, Korra hugged her Airbending teacher, and then Jinora and her siblings. Katara was a little more hesitant but also hugged her old student.

"I see that Boba has flown Bumi and Kya offworld, now," Mako noted.

"Yes," Tenzin said. "Thanks to that communications equipment your friends installed, we'll be able to follow what he is doing."

"How is your guard force adjusting?" Mako asked. Ikki eagerly said how she liked Ezra and his cousin Jonah, before Tenzin spoke up.

"All your friends are wonderful people," Tenzin said, at which point Director Krennic and Doctor Erso appeared.

"Thank you for your hospitality, Councilor Tenzin," the director said.

"Of course," Tenzin replied, at which point Jinora asked if they would be welcome on Loedorvia one day.

"We'd be happy to return the favor," Erso said, before looking a little sad. "Sadly, it won't be on Loedorvia. During the war, it was bombed with a plague which makes it unlivable for Humans." The Airbenders were saddened by that, with Orson and Galen accepting their condolences before boarding the shuttle with their Death Trooper squad.

"Your friends were good company, though I question some of what they believe," Pema said as they moved into the Air Temple.

"I doubt the Coruscant police like covering their faces just to ensure trouble doesn't follow them home," Mako said, guessing on what she might be referencing. "Also, one of the things about being a cop I've learned is that there often aren't any easy answers. Still, I can't help but wonder how things might have gone if the Equalists had been investigated from the beginning."

"Yes," Tenzin said, remembering Kallus talking about how the Imperial Security Bureau and others worked to stop terror attacks before they happened. "As for what Krennic and Erso said of their background, I was a bit more hesitant."

"If we don't try to improve things, they'll never get fixed," Korra said. "I hear what Orson said about how toppling an unpopular ruler made things worse, but you can't predict how everything will turn out."

"I didn't have much problem with that conclusion, actually," Tenzin said. "I was a little puzzled and bothered by how they mentioned their grandfathers killing each other in an argument."

"One of the things that Orson Krennic is well regarded for is paying attention to how long something takes," Mako said. "Sometimes, you can't focus too much on HOW something is done, and you need to succeed as fast as possible, hoping for the best."

"I am well aware of how you need to be mindful of timetables," Katara said. "Aang and the rest of us were firmly aware that we had less than a year for him to learn enough of the four elements before Sozin's Comet passed across the sky, empowering the Fire Nation to the point of invincibility. But having heard that story, I'm not sure what more their respective grandfathers could do."

"Burn the town," Mako said, shocking them. "The residents would be dragged out of their homes, and then every building would be burnt, leaving the Rebel leader nowhere to hide."

"Oh," a surprised Jinora said, with the rest of her family somewhat relieved by the explanation. "Well, that wouldn't exactly inspire loyalty in the current king but it'd probably catch that Rouran guy."

"The fact they'd be left alive at all would be merciful," Korra noted. "They were basically doing everything they could to hide and shelter this usurper, after all." She left out how, according to Krennic, Galen's grandfather had said they should have killed the town's population, that day. Orson then quipped that, if they'd been Firebenders, they could have just burnt all the potential hiding spots without killing the townspeople. Still, Korra remembered the lesson: those who were more interested in HOW a task was accomplished then whether or not they succeeded often failed.

"Well, I get what he was saying," Jinora said. "You can't always focus on doing something 'properly' sometimes you need to just finish as fast as you can and hope for the best." At that point, they arrived in the dining room of the Temple. Korra learned Iroh had already returned to the United Forces, busy recovering from the Hutt attack.

"Well, Jinora, you won't have to worry about Wan Shi Tong or Koh anymore," Korra revealed. "I killed them." That surprised the Airbender family but no one was particularly upset. Wan Shi Tong had betrayed Jinora to Unalaq, in support of releasing Vaatu, and starved to death the archeologist who Katara had befriended long ago. Koh was often regarded as an invincible monster which killed for fun. Tenzin was more upset at how dangerous it was for Korra to do so.

"I've handled worse than a giant owl, and Vader backed me up against the Face Stealer," Korra replied. "Also, some good news: killing Koh fixed the link to the past Avatars." That shocked the Airbender family, greatly pleasing them. She went on to explain how the ghosts were locked out of the loop after Unalaq's actions and were now being brought up to speed. Her eyes perked up upon seeing Aang's ghost appear, but only Mako could see him as well.

"Well, Aang, any words you have for your family?" she asked, gaining the group's attention. Aang replied how it was good to see them all again, that they had done well for themselves and for the new Airbenders and said he could be found in the spirit world now. Korra relayed the information, to Katara and Tenzin's delight, and the ghost dissipated. "Also, it seems that your father doesn't hold a grudge against Darth Vader and would have helped him then rather than risk a deadly battle because of what Unalaq claimed."

"That sounds like Aang," Katara smiled, trying to hold back the sting for why her husband was now dead. As they had dinner, Mako announced that he'd be giving Republic City Police another chance, given the damage to the city, and his loyalty to Lin Beifong. Korra then looked at Tenzin.

"I get that Kallus, the Stormtroopers, and even Koko, Jonah, Ezra, and Sabine might not be welcome in Republic City at the moment," the Avatar said to the Airbending leader. "So, I will come with you back to Republic City while the guard force stays here with Jinora and the others." Tenzin looked pleased at that, then somewhat hesitant.

"Uh, last I checked, President Raiko had yet to lift your banishment from the URN," the councilor said.

"Well, saving the city from Hutts, their thugs, and a Gorog should be enough to revoke it," Korra replied. "Also, I am the Avatar, I go where I'm needed, not where I'm wanted."

"Well, Raiko might not see it that way, nor will many others," Katara said. "Also, some people will no doubt have ideas regarding the...Sith Code, as Vader illustrated."

"And fear of that thing called the Dark Side," Ikki brought up. After a moment, Mako decided to explain the later while Korra did the former.

"For most of recorded history, the Sith's enemies have been able to control the narrative the wider galaxy hears," Mako said. "The Sith DON'T believe there is a light and dark dichotomy, only the Force itself. Their greatest rivals, the Jedi, created the term Dark Side to vilify anyone who didn't follow their strict interpretation of the Force, and repeated the lie for so long that they took to believing it themselves. The term Dark Side became so pervasive, that even the Sith had to use it simply to differentiate their ideals from the Jedi. Even Vader was initially schooled in the Light/Dark dynamic and uses it out of habit."

"I heard a little something like that," Jinora said. "But what about the code itself?"

"Well, let's get something out of the way," Korra began. "The Sith caution AGAINST lying and cheating, even to win something. After all, if your victory doesn't prove anything, why should it be celebrated? At most, it is just an illusion which lasts until the next challenge you face."

Korra then looked at Tenzin intently. "As for the part 'Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion' well, I'm having a hard time disagreeing with it," she began. "Whenever I tried to follow the path of silent introspection which the White Lotus advocated, I failed, and only progressed when I drew power from how I enjoyed Bending. I admit, following that approach when learning Airbending worked very well, but I only unlocked it when Amon was going to hurt Mako. The Code of the Sith is just 'don't be afraid to draw power from your emotions.'"

"Emotions can go out of control if you aren't careful," Tenzin said in caution. "But I wouldn't describe Vader as a rampaging maniac. Maybe avoiding suppression of emotion keeps you from going ballistic when pushed too far." Meelo then asked Mako what he thought of the code.

"Well, when I first heard of it, I thought of Zuko," Mako answered. "He spent most of his life accepting the passions advocated by his father and the other Fire Nation warmongers. Then, he broke the chains lashing him to an awful parent and toxic culture, joined Avatar Aang, and dedicated himself to fixing the damage Ozai and others like him inflicted on the world. He even rose to the position of Fire Lord by beating his sister in a duel, so you can't even say he rejected the Might Makes Right undercurrent of it." Katara briefly brought up how she was the one who defeated Azula, albeit after she cheated in desperation, knocking Zuko out of the Agni Kai, but acknowledged the similarities. After dinner, Tenzin said it would be best if, when they returned to Republic City, Korra stayed on Air Temple Island initially with Mako, with the Avatar and her husband agreeing.

After cleaning up after dinner, Mako observed Sabine and Jonah's Firebending, and complimented their form. Before heading off to bed, he bumped into Kai, who was looking through a catalog next to one of the electric lamps which the Imperials had installed.

"What are you doing?" Mako asked the young Airbender.

"Well, Jinora's birthday is in about a month, and I'm wondering what I can get her," he said. "I got her a Bison whistle last time, so I'm not sure what she'd like." After a moment, Mako had an idea.

"Have you ever wondered what it would be like to ride a speeder bike?" he asked. Kai perked up in eagerness, to which Mako said he could have the Imperials teach Kai how to ride one, so that he could give Jinora a ride on her birthday. The young Airbender eagerly accepted, and Mako went over to Ezra and Sabine to give them new orders. When he went to bed, Jinora walked out of the room after a conversation with Jinora.

"What did she want?" asked Mako.

"A little advice on what to do with her boyfriend while her mom and dad are out of town," Korra smirked, which Mako chuckled at. Perhaps Jinora and Kai would tie the knot this year as well as Bolin and Opal.

Korra sees most of the ghosts as frozen in the past and is skeptical of their advice. She's been advised by Vader more than any of the past Avatars, as well. Kuvira hates the Dai Li and latches onto any difference between her working with the Empire and them accepting Azula's offer.

Bolin first unlocked the Force when he was desperate to save Opal while they were tumbling through space, together, before Vader rescued them. Suyin wants to reward her adoptive daughter's trust, as well as learn Lavabending.

I love KOTOR, and the only reason KOTOR II isn't as well regarded is because it was Christmas Rushed. Darth Sion actually is a good lesson on the nature of the Dark Side.

Yes, the holding cells on Slave I really are wall cabinets. I figured I would acknowledge The Bad Batch but I'm not sure what I'll do regarding it. As for Kamino's fate, it's a blend between that show and what happened in Battlefront II.

I figured I would follow up on Tenzin and the Airbenders getting to know the Imperials. I have read several stories where a Sith says to himself that the main reason they use the term Dark Side is to set themselves apart from the Jedi. Korra has always gained strength from her passion, so she doesn't see a problem. Also, looking at Zuko's story in the original series, I couldn't help but be reminded of the Sith Code. As for the last part, well, Jinora is almost sixteen in this story, and she's asked Korra for romantic advice, before. Mako can't help but be amused by Kai being a loving boyfriend and decided to help the new Airbender out.
