First real, non-introduction chapter! This calls for another disclaimer.

Nico POV

I never put these people in as a contact, but I would recognize the number anywhere. They called me for the first time when I was 16. Most people see color by then, but no one really questions if you haven't. No one except these people, and me being the younger brother of the late Bianca di Angelo didn't help matters.

These people had been the ones that killed my sister.

You might be wondering why my sister's murderers called me. Believe me, I do to. It had been known to happen that when someone meets their soulmate they hide it, pretend they still see black and white. This is because their soulmate is the same gender as them. In my town, if someone is considered gay, they die unless they hide it. The people that killed Bianca were not punished. In fact, quite the opposite. They were given money when they reported their evidence against her and her and Zoe's dead bodies. The only thing is they have to have evidence; that's why I was still alive.

When I was 16, an unknown number called my phone, and I was stupid enough to pick up.

Flashback to a memory of a 16-year-old Nico

I was sitting on my bed, doing homework or something along those lines, when my phone rang.

It was a number I did not recognize, but it didn't say spam either, so I was curious.

When I picked up the phone and hit answer, I was met with a deep voice; not insanely deep, but still, deeper than mine and most other people I know, but that's not important, what is important is what he said.

"Nico di Angelo," the voice said.

I tried to not let my voice shake as I answered.

"Yes."

"So that is you?"

"Yes." It probably wasn't the best idea to tell them who I was, but I didn't know who they were or what they would do.

"Okay Nico, we are here to inform you that your sister and Zoe are not dead. If you would like, you can have them back now."

So, there's chapter 3. I know it is short, but I will publish again soon. Leave a review!
