i sat at the edge of the field, looking at the beautiful blue sky and how the birds were flying so beautifully in the sky. My heart ached as I thought about the blond-haired boy who had to leave my hometown because of his father's job.
I started to miss that idiotic speech I had admitted to just a moment ago.
It had probably been 7 years since I last saw him, but I kept thinking about that man.
A slight breeze tickled my face.
Anxiety took over my body. The thought of never seeing him again would be terrible.
I didn't hear someone sneak up behind me. This person hugged me from behind, which made me move. I heard him say something to me. His voice sounded really familiar. I turned my head and saw Mathias.
At first my expression was serious, but gradually tears started to flow from my eyes.
I hugged the man and tried to say in a tearful voice, "What are you doing here?", but I felt like my voice was breaking into tears.
Mathias smiled at me and wiped my tears from my cheeks and looked at me tenderly.
Mathias whispered in my ear, "I promised to come back."
As soon as the man had said that, he pulled me into a deep kiss. I kissed him back.
When we broke the kiss, I asked, "Where have you been all these years?"
Mathias smiled and replied, "Of course I've been looking for you."
A big smile came to my lips.
Finally, we were able to sit on the edge of the field, the two of us, in complete silence.
