(Qing threw a card on her duel disk, summoning a monster and rode on it, saving her from the attacks. Scene changed to display Gongenzaka, Seth, Bella, Azuma, and a few others of the thirty-two duelists facing off against the Obelisk Force)
Of the map to the future, which begins to shine
(A boy who looks just like Yuya but in white drove into the stadium, glaring at a shadow figure on the other side of the stadium as he drove closer to him)

(The You Show group looked up at the camera from the stadium within)
After defeating Junes and receiving Reiji's response, his reason, for the Battle Royale, Qing had arrived in the Iceberg Area, searching for duelists to either duel or recruit in the Lancers, mostly the latter. After a few hours of searching in the realistic cold, she saw no duelists around and made her cue to leave. As she was going to head to the Volcano Area, Qing saw a group of duelists walking her way, all wearing identical clothing.
"Well, well. Looks like we finally found a duelist in this dimension," she heard. Once the duelists were close enough, she noticed these duelists were not any of the remaining contestants of the tournament.
The people before her all had on the same identical helmets, each with a different color gem on it, and wore blue and white militaristic uniform. Qing recognized the uniform from one of the memories and, for some reason, felt slight rage upon seeing them.
"Who are you guys?!" she asked.
"Like a hunter needs to tell the hunted anything," one of the three duelists with a red gem on his helm said, as they all activated their duel disks. Upon seeing their disks and the blade formed from them, Qing realized who they were.
"You're from the Fusion Dimension, aren't you?!"
"Oh. So the prey knows the predators. This'll make it all the more fun," the Obelisk with a yellow gem stated, licking his lips.
From her memory of her Xyz Counterpart, Qing knew there was no talking to these guys like Serena. And thus, she swapped her deck in the duel disk for one that would be a better match for this duel, and activated her duel disk.
"DUEL!"

"I go first!" Obelisk Red began. "I summon Antique Gear Hound Dog to the field!" A mechanical dog appeared on the field.
Antique Gear Hound Dog: Level 3/EARTH/Machine/1000 ATK/1000 DEF
"Next, I activate the Magic Card, Antique Gear Scrappy Prototype! This card can only be activated if I control an 'Antique Gear' monster! I Special Summon an 'Antique Gear Prototype Token' to my opponent's field whose ATK and DEF is the half of the 'Antique Gear' monster I control! However, that monster cannot attack or change its Battle Position!" As he said this, a portal appeared on Qing's field, and a broken version of Hound Dog appeared out of it.
Antique Gear Prototype Token: Level 3/EARTH/Machine/? -} 500 ATK/? -} 500 DEF
(Antique Gear Scrappy Prototype: Normal Magic: Target 1 'Antique Gear' monster you control; Special Summon 1 'Ancient Gear Prototype Token' (Level 3/EARTH/Machine/? ATK/? DEF) to your opponent's field. The monster summoned this way cannot attack or change its Battle Position.)
"Now I activate Hound Dog's effect! Once per turn, if my opponent controls a monster, they take 600 damage! Hound Flame!" As he said this, Hunting Hound breathed out flames at Qing. The girl brought her arms up to protect herself and grunted from the heat behind the flames.

"My turn! Draw!" Obelisk Yellow followed. "I summon Antique Gear Hunting Hound!" Like with Red, the guy summoned his own mechanical dog. "And with its effect, take 600 points of damage! Hound Flame!"
Qing raised her arms and feebly protected herself from the flames.

"My turn! Draw!" Obelisk Green drew his next card. "I summon Antique Gear Hunting Hound!" And like his comrades, he also summoned a mechanical dog.
'Do all Obelisk Force duelist use the same method?' Qing couldn't help but wonder.
"And with his effect, another 600 points of damage goes to you! Hound Flame!" And like that, another burst of flames came her way.

"And now I activate the Magic card, Fusion! And with it, I fuse my Hound Dog on my field with Hound Dog in my hand! Mechanical hounds who carry on the ancient spirits, flock together and become one with new power! FUSION SUMMON! Appear now! Level 5! Antique Gear Double Bite Hound Dog!" As the robotic dog on the field fused with another dog in his hand, appearing now on Obelisk Green's field was a two-headed version of the monster.

"Now battle! I attack Antique Gear Prototype Token with Antique Gear Double Bite Hound Dog!" he then declared.
As much as Qing wanted to search for an Action Card, she knew high-leveled 'Antique Gear' monsters have the effect that prevents the activation of Magic and Trap cards until the end of the Damage Step when they attack. As such, she could only watch as her Token Monster got destroyed by the Fusion Monster.

"I activate the Continuous Magic, Antique Armageddon Gear and end my turn," Obelisk Green ended, calling upon something that seemed like a tank of cannons. "Heh. This is way too easy. Not even worth the challenge."
"Guess Standard Dimension duelists are far weaker than even the Xyz Duelists. I'll have fun carding the bunch of them," Obelisk Red said.
What he said made Qing angry. Not that she was weak, but that the guy was going to have fun carding the people in this dimension. She saw from Noir's memories of what occurred in the Xyz Dimension. How Academia had gone and attacked them for no reason, relentlessly carding the residents there. It didn't matter who they were; if they were duelists, adults, elders, even children. Slowly the anger she had towards them grew, as she placed her hand on her deck.
"I hope you're done. For it's my turn now. Draw!" She drew her sixth card. "I activate the Magic Card, Treasure Cards of the Ruby. By sending a Level 7 'Red-Eyes' monster from my hand to the Graveyard, I draw two cards. Then I send another Level 7 'Red-Eyes' monster from my deck to the Graveyard. And so, from my hand, I send away Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon and draw. Now from my deck, Red-Eyes Black Dragon." As Qing sent away one of the cards in her hand to the Graveyard, she drew two more cards, and a card was ejected out of her deck for her to send away to the grave as well. "And now from my hand, I activate Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon's effect. By tributing a 'Red-Eyes' monster from my hand or field to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon this card. The card I will send away is Red-Eyes Guardragon!" A small, somewhat armored version of Red-Eyes Black Dragon appeared on her field. The wyvern then created a portal of sort with its own body, and summoned out a darker, menacing version of Red-Eyes Black Dragon.
Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon: Level 7/DARK/Dragon/2400 ATK/2000 DEF
(Red-Eyes Guardragon: Effect Monster: If a DARK Dragon-type Monster you control is destroyed by battle or by opponent's card effect while this card is in your hand, you may send this card to the Graveyard and Special Summon that monster. During the damage calculation, on your opponent's turn, if you take damage while you control a 'Red-Eyes' monster, you can banish this card; negate the damage and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the damage negated.)
"Whoa. So you managed to summon out something strong. Impressive, for a weak duelist," Obelisk Red stated.
"But it's hopeless! I activate Antique Gear Double Bite Hound Dog's effect!" Obelisk Green shouted. "Once per turn, during either player's turn, if a monster is summoned to my opponent's field, a Gear Counter is placed on that monster!" As he said this, a gear of sort appeared above his Fusion Monster. The monster then launched the gear right at Qing's dragon.
"Gear Counter?" Qing repeated in a questioned tone, never having heard of those counters before, not even in her Xyz Counterpart's memories.
"What's wrong? Aren't you going to attack?" Green taunted.
"Not like she can anyway," Obelisk Yellow said. "Trap Card, open! Fusion Trench!" His face-down card was flipped face-up. "While this card is face-up on the field, only Fusion Monsters can attack!"
This made Obelisk Red laugh. "Oh wow! All that work to summon out a strong monster, and she can't attack. That's pitiful, yet fitting for a prey!"
The way these guys were underestimating Qing was truly getting on her nerves, as she took three of the four remaining cards in her hand. "I set three cards-face down and end my turn."
"Aww... The poor prey is shaking in fear. Just what we like to see," Red assumed. "My turn! Draw!" He drew his next card. "First, I activate Hound Dog's effect! Because you control a monster, you're taking another 600 points of damage! Is what I say but... Continuous Trap, Antique Gear Booster!" Red continued his turn. "Once per turn, if an 'Antique Gear' monster I control inflicts damage to my opponent by card effect, that damage doubles! Mega Hound Flame!" As Hound Dog breathed out another dose of flames at Qing, her monster got in front of the attack to protect her from the burn. However, it did nothing to prevent the damage to her Life Points.

Seeing how low her Life Points were made the Fusion Duelists laugh. "Look at how low your Life Points are, prey! You're even weaker than those Xyz idiots who tried to stand against us instead of succumbing to their fate!" Obelisk Yellow exclaimed. Qing gritted her teeth quite hard at those words, glaring at the masked duelist.
"I activate the Magic card, Fusion! With it, I fuse Antique Gear Hound Dog with two other Hound Dog in my hand! Mechanical hounds who carry on the ancient spirits, flock together and become one with new power! FUSION SUMMON! Appear now! Level 7! Antique Gear Triple Bite Hound Dog!" Now appearing on Obelisk Red's field was a three-headed version of Hound Dog.
Antique Gear Triple Bite Hound Dog: Level 7/EARTH/Machine/1800 ATK/1000 DEF
"Now battle! I attack with Antique Gear Triple Bite Hound Dog!" To Qing's confusion, the guy's monster charged in at Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon. "Normally such an attack would be suicide. However, because your monster has a Gear Counter..."
"At this time, Antique Gear Double Bite Hound Dog's effect!" Obelisk Green exclaimed. "When a monster with a Gear Counter battles, that monster is destroyed!"
"What was that?!" Qing gasped.
"And don't even think about using those useless set cards of yours. When Triple Bite attacks, my opponent's Spell and Trap cards cannot be activated!" Red continued. Before his monster can hit Qing's, the Gear Counter attached to it suddenly rotated at high speed and exploded, destroying her monster.
"And when a monster is destroyed, Antique Armageddon Gear's effect activates! The controller of the destroyed monster takes damage equal to its ATK! Be destroyed!" Obelisk Green continued. His Continuous Magic fired off all of its cannons, with one blast falling straight at Qing. Once it made contact, a large explosion occurred.
The three Obelisks simply laughed at her demise. "And that's another prey down!" Obelisk Yellow said.
"Man. These kids are way too weak. Though I kind of wished that girl would at least scream in the end there," Obelisk Green stated.
"Okay now. Beggars can't be choosers. Time to card her up," Obelisk Red said, walking towards the smoke.
After taking a few steps forward, a trio of roars was heard, to their shock. The smoke cleared and, increasing their surprise, they saw three dragons on Qing's field. One of them being Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon.
Red-Eyes Black Dragon: Level 7/DARK/Dragon/2400 x 2 = 4800 ATK/2000 DEF
Red-Eyes Tracer Dragon: Level 4/DARK/Dragon/1700 ATK/1600 DEF
"What the hell?!" Yellow gasped.
"How?!" Green questioned.
Red looked at their Life Points and noticed Qing's Life Points remained the same. "Why aren't you Life Points at zero?!"
"Isn't it obvious? I activated card effects. Although 'Antique Gear' monsters can prevent the activation of Magic and Trap cards when they battle, once the battle is over, I'm free to use them however I please," Qing stated. "Firstly, from Red-Eyes Tracer Dragon's effect, if a Level 7 or lower 'Red-Eyes' monster I control is destroyed by my opponent's card and sent to the Graveyard while it's in my hand, I can Special Summon Tracer Dragon in Defense Mode and Special Summon back the destroyed monster in the position it was in upon its destruction. And from Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon's effect, once it's destroyed by the opponent in any way, I Special Summon a Level 7 or lower 'Red-Eyes' monster from my Graveyard. And if the monster summoned is 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon', the summoned monster's ATK is doubled."
"Wait! Then what about your Life Points?!" Green demanded.
"In response to your Antique Armageddon Gear's effect, I activated the Continuous Trap, Red-Eyes Reflector. If my opponent inflicts damage to me by a card effect while I control a 'Red-Eyes' monster, the damage dealt is reduced by the highest ATK of a 'Red-Eyes' monster I control," Qing explained, as the smoke cleared completely to reveal one of Qing's set cards.
(Red-Eyes Reflector: Continuous Trap: If a card or effect is activated that inflicts damage to you while you control a 'Red-Eyes' monster, reduce the damage by the highest ATK of the 'Red-Eyes' monster you control. Then, if the original damage is less than the monster's ATK, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the difference.)
"Thanks to Alternative Black Dragon's effect, Red-Eyes Black Dragon's ATK is much higher. Thus I take zero damage. On the other hand, because of Red-Eyes's higher ATK, the ones taking damage here... are you!" At her words, the original Red-Eyes let out a fearsome roar, flames welling up in its mouth. The dragon then unleashed flames at the Obelisk trio, all who raised their arms to protect themselves from the burn.

Once the flames died down, all three glared at the girl. "Why you... You're dead meat!" Obelisk Green shouted. "Double Bite's effect! Because you summoned out a monster, a Gear Counter is placed on it!" As he said this, Double Bite fired off another one of its gears. This time, at Red-Eyes Black Dragon.
Feeling some confidence return at this play, Red turned back to the duel. "That's right. Triple Bite can make a total of three attacks on monsters! You've only delayed your doom! Now take it! Triple Bite, attack Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" At his command, the three-headed Fusion monster charged at Qing's highest monster.
"And at this time, Double Bite's effect activates! Since your monster has a Gear Counter and is engaging battle, it is destroyed!" At those words, the gear in the original Red-Eyes rotated and exploded, destroying the dragon. "And with his destruction, Antique Armageddon Gear will destroy you!" As soon as he said that, his Continuous Magic fired off its cannons once more.
"Trap Card, Red-Eyes Overheat!" Qing countered. "This card can only be activated if my Life Points is 1000 or less and less than my opponent's! A 'Red-Eyes' monster I control has its ATK doubled this turn! Get fired up, Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon!" At her command, a fiery red aura surrounded Red-Eyes Alternative, giving him an extra boost.
Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon: 2400 x 2 = 4800 ATK
(Red-Eyes Overheat: Normal Trap: Activate if your Life Points is less than your opponent's and is 1000 or less. Target 1 'Red-Eyes' monster you control; that monster's ATK doubles this turn.)
"And with his ATK the same as the damage, I take none!" Red-Eyes Alternative then unleashed his own flame breath at the blast coming in at Qing, negating the damage.
This made the Obelisks grit their teeth in annoyance. "In that case... I end my turn," Red ended, knowing that even if he attacked Qing's Red-Eyes Tracer Dragon, not only would Qing not take damage, Obelisk Green would be the one to take effect damage instead. Not only that, but he would be taken out.
"At this time, Red-Eyes Overheat's effect ends, and Alternative Black Dragon's ATK is reverted to normal," Qing said, as the aura around her remaining monster had died down.
Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon: 4800 / 2 = 2400 ATK
"My turn! Draw!" Obelisk Yellow drew his next card. "Magic Card, Fusion Tag! With this card's effect, by revealing a Fusion Monster in my Extra Deck, a monster I control has its name treated as the monster I reveal! Meaning now, my Antique Gear Hound Dog is Antique Gear Triple Bite Hound Dog!" As he said this, he revealed the said monster in his Extra Deck, and the spirit of the monster merged with his lone monster. "And now I activate the Magic card, Fusion! Through this card, I fuse Antique Gear Hound Dog as Antique Gear Triple Bite Hound Dog with the Antique Gear Hound Dog in my hand! Mechanical hounds who carry on the ancient spirits, flock together and become one with new power! FUSION SUMMON! Appear now! Level 9! Antique Gear Ultimate Hound Dog!" An even more monstrous version of Triple Bite Hound Dog appeared on his field.
Antique Gear Ultimate Hound Dog: Level 9/EARTH/Machine/2800 ATK/2000 DEF
"When Ultimate Hound Dog appears on the field, all my opponent's Life Points are halved!" Yellow added. His monster unleashed a beam of sort straight at Qing. As the effect was not an effect damage, Red-Eyes Reflector couldn't stop the beam from hitting her.

"You're down to your last life now, prey!"
"Trap Card, Chain-Attached Red-Eyes Fang!" Qing shouted. "This trap card acts as an Equip Card to a 'Red-Eyes' monster! Through it, that monster can make two attacks per Battle Phase!" A dragon-shaped kunai with chain appeared and attached itself to Red-Eyes Tracer Dragon.
"So what if it can make an additional attack? That means nothing! Battle! Ultimate Hound Dog-"
"Chain-Attached Red-Eyes Fang's second effect!" the girl interrupted. "By sending this card to the Graveyard, an Effect Monster on the field is equipped to the monster it was equipped to!" To the Fusion Dimension Duelists' shock, Red-Eyes Tracer tossed its weapon at Ultimate Hound Dog and bound it. It then pulled the Fusion Monster towards it and roared at its face, causing it to be obedient towards the dragon. "And then, the equipped monster's ATK and DEF becomes the same as the original ATK of the monster it's equipped with."
Red-Eyes Tracer Dragon: 1700 -} 2800 ATK/1600 -} 2000 DEF
Obelisk Yellow gritted his teeth upon seeing one of Academia's most powerful monster be reduced to some pet for his opponent's weak monster. Looking down at the remaining cards in his hand, he grimaced upon seeing that he had nothing to even protect himself for next turn. And something told him when Qing's turn comes, it was not going to be pretty. "Damn it... I end my turn!"
"You're both so useless! My turn!" Obelisk Green drew his next card. "Battle! Antique Gear Double Bite Hound Dog! Attack the girl!"
Qing widened her eyes at the command. "Wait, what?" she asked.
"You didn't think just because your monsters are stronger and without a Gear Counter means that we weren't going to attack regardless, did you? Because of Fusion Trench, if we, who control a Fusion Monster, do not summon a non-Fusion Monster for the turn, a Fusion Monster we control can attack directly! It's the end for you! Now begone!" Double Bite Hound Dog leapt into the air and breathed out more flames at Qing.
"From my Graveyard, Red-Eyes Guardragon's effect activates!" the girl exclaimed, to the Fusion Duelists' surprise. "During the damage calculation, if I were to take damage while I control a 'Red-Eyes' monster, by banishing this card, that damage is negated!" As she said this, the young, armored Red-Eyes from earlier appeared and raised its arms, protecting its master from the flames. More than that, it gathered up the flames in its hands. "And then, I inflict damage to my opponent equal to the damage negated!" Red-Eyes Guardragon tossed the fireball back at Obelisk Green, who had no choice but to take it.

The guy grunted and clicked his tongue upon seeing his attack had failed and shouted, "I end my turn! Don't think you'll keep pulling off this miracle! You'll only have one card in your hand next turn, and your Life Points are way too low."
"So what if they are?" Qing simply questioned. "So long as I still have a card to play, I'm not giving up! My turn. Draw!" She drew her next card. "Magic card, Red-Eyes Fusion! With this card, I can Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster that lists a 'Red-Eyes' monster as its Fusion Material, using monsters from my hand, field, or deck!"
Hearing that she could Fusion Summon from the deck especially shocked her opponents. "What was that?!" Red gasped.
"A Fusion Summon... using monsters from the deck?!" Yellow followed.
"That's not possible! Even in our proud school, only the higher-ups of Academia could do that! For someone of the Standard Dimension to be able to pull it off is nonsense!" Green exclaimed.
"I wonder about that," Qing said. "Using this card's effect, I fuse Red-Eyes Alternative Dragon on my field with Summoned Daemon in my deck! Ferocious dragon with blood-red eyes, combine your powers with the powerful demon and create new destructive flames! FUSION SUMMON! Appear now, dragon with the power over hell itself! Level 9! Fiend Dragon - Black Daemon's Dragon!" As her Red-Eyes Alternative took into the air, the spirit of Summoned Daemon appeared next to it. The two monsters fused together and turned into the black, demonic version of Red-Eyes in flames.
Fiend Dragon - Black Daemon's Dragon: Level 9/DARK/Dragon/3200 ATK/2500 DEF
"You only brought yourself to death! Double Bite Hound Dog's effect! Since you summoned a monster, a Gear Counter is placed on it!" Green shouted, as his monster forcibly inserted a gear in Qing's monster.
"That doesn't matter," she calmly said. "Battle! Fiend Dragon - Black Daemon's Dragon! Attack Triple Bite Hound Dog! Hellfire Demon Strike!" Flames came out of her Fusion Monster's wings and muzzle, as it charged at its target.
"You're so stupid, Standard Duelist! Double Bite Hound Dog's effect! Since your monster is battling and has a Gear Counter, it is destroyed! Say goodbye!" As the two-headed Hound Dog forced the Gear to move, instead of being destroyed as it should've been, Fiend Dragon - Black Daemon's Dragon reached to the gear in it and crushed it, to the boys' astonishment.
"What?! What just happened?!" Red gasped.
"When Fiend Dragon - Black Daemon's Dragon battles, my opponent's cards and effects cannot activate until the end of the Damage Step," Qing explained, furthering their astonishment and newfound fear. "Now to end this! Go, Fiend Dragon!" The Fusion Monster's attack struck its target, and destroyed it.
Obelisk Duelist Red: 200 LP

The two remaining opposing duelists looked down at their unconscious comrade, before Yellow quickly regained himself and realized two other things. "However, because of my Continuous Trap, you can't attack with any other monsters! Now end your turn!"
"You're right. My Fusion Monster is the only one who can attack," Qing agreed. "But, if you think you still have a turn, you're dead wrong. At the end of the Battle Phase, if damage calculation is performed involving this monster, Fiend Dragon - Black Daemon's Dragon can inflict damage to my opponent equal to the ATK of 1 'Red-Eyes' Normal Monster in my Graveyard!" This made the two Obelisks go pale. "Now to finish this! Hell's Incinerating Scorcher!" Unleashing its fiery breath, the Fusion Monster ended the duel and knocked out the rest of her opponents.

Once the duel was over, Qing let out a sigh in relief, as the cards on the field faded away. "That was tougher than I thought..." she admitted.
The sound of slow clapping was then heard, and Qing turned to see, to her surprise, a duelist in a familiar cloak on top of the snowy hill. "My, my. To think this also works for other people's duels. I really must say, I am more and more impressed with myself," the cloaked figure said.
Qing widened her eyes at the sight of this person, not expecting to see her so soon. "It's you," she said aloud.
Those words were more than enough for the person to know one thing. "Oh? So you know about me. Guess your hidden gift is similar to that Synchro girl. Well, that makes things a lot more easier for me." The cloaked figure activated her Duel Disk, which turned out to be very similar to the Obelisks', and thus confirmed Qing's suspicions.
"Hold it! Before that, I want you to tell me something!" Qing shouted.
"And I can guess what your question is. But it'll be no fun to just give you answers. Especially if it means stalling for time before anyone else arrives here. And I rather it be just you and me."
"And if I say no?"
To answer the question, the figure pressed a button on her duel disk.
"FORCED DUEL MODE ON," came a robotic voice. Qing looked down and saw her Duel Disk activated.
"You have no say in this," the figure said. "Now duel me."
Qing grimaced upon seeing no other way around, especially when she knew how strong this duelist was. She then saw something behind the figure and flinched slightly upon seeing it was Yuzu, Serena, and a pair of ninjas.
The figure noticed the look she had and turned around. "Reinforcements, is it? Guess you got off lucky," she said. Qing felt a bit of relief when she heard that, when the figure placed a hand on her chin in thought. "Hold on... Then again, it would be amusing still. In the many duels I have had, they're always against people who know me and my deck. Whether it was the type of summoning, or because they know my reputation. And lately those duels are boring me out. But those people over there... They don't know me as well as you may know me. It'll be amusing to see how they fight against their fate."
Qing pulled back at those words, especially when the figure licked her lips the way a crazed sadist would. "Hold it! You're only after me, right?! Leave them out of this! We can take our duel elsewhere!" she exclaimed.
That seemed to convince her enough, as the figure turned back to her. "Oh? Is that so? Well, since you asked so kindly, who am I to refuse?"
At those words, Qing couldn't help but feel like she was played right into her hands. Well, then again, maybe she did, considering what the figure did to her other two counterparts.
Leading the figure to the Jungle Area, the girl mentally prayed that no one else, contestant or otherwise, was around. She knew how strong the figure was and didn't want anyone else getting hurt in this duel.
"Hope you're ready," the figure said.
"Like I have a choice," Qing stated.
"DUEL!"
