Chapter 9 – Delphox and the WONDERful Rescue!
Previously on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Life and Death…
Both Tommy and Sammy cried at the same time "What are you going to do to us?"
"You'll see ok TRAP ACTIVATED!" Greninja Screamed as he pulled out a remote and pushed the button and out of nowhere a cage falls down on them locking them inside.
"A Cage, What's going on?" Sammy cried out.
"Well you see we're going to take you three hostage, kill Tommy and Sammy and you Megan will be forced to be my slave" Bubbles said while still holding the Crown in his paws.
"YOU MAKE ME SICK, Now I don't blame Megan for betraying you, you deserved it because you are a very bad Pokémon and you should be locked up in an asylum" Tommy growled at Bubbles causing the Frog Pokémon to burst out laughing hysterically.
"HAHAHAHAHA, Really! is that the best you can do, it's over Team Ace you will finally be dealt with ONCE. AND. FOR. ALL! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Team Ace have walked right into Team Hydro's trap but the real question is will they be able to get out of it this time or is it the end of Team Ace as they know it? You are about to find out in this epic new chapter!

Meanwhile somewhere in the Pokémon World…
Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep!
Delphox grunted as she opened her eyes and squinted slightly as she looked at her alarm clock, it said 5:00am meaning that it was really early and it was still dark outside she always set it to 5:00 in the morning because she liked to start her days off by getting up extremely early and preparing herself for a very awesome day of being heroic, you see Delphox is the leader of a very famous Exploration Team known as The Psychic Wonders and their job is to help all kinds of Pokémon in trouble and defeat evil criminals. Delphox got out of bed and decided to walk towards the kitchen to make breakfast, she usually woke her other Team Mates at 6:00 in the morning which is when the breakfast is usually done.
Delphox walked into the kitchen and grabbed an Oran berry out of the bowl eating it as she turned on the cooker and grabbed the bacon off the shelf and the pecha berries off the side but before she could put the food in the pans she heard the distress caller in the other room.
"Weird, it doesn't usually go off this time in the morning" she mumbled to herself as she set the bacon and pecha berries down on the side as she walked into the other room and walked to the caller ripping the piece of paper off of it, it read…
Emergency, Emergency!
An Exploration Team called Team Ace have been kidnapped by Team Hydro and are at Team Hydro's Castle at Gloomy Mountains, they are in Grave danger and you must save them before it's too late

She gasped as she dropped the piece of paper and started running to her Team Mates' Room to wake them up, this was not good at all well you see The Psychic Wonders have been chasing Team Hydro for a very long time and this could be their chance to finally arrest them once and for all.
She peered into their room and shouted "WAKE UP IT'S AN EMERGENCY" as she ran into the living room to wait for them to finally wake up.
After 5 minutes of waiting she could hear the other Pokémon scrambling out of bed as they exited their rooms and ran into the living room, they looked really angry.
"What is so important that you have to wake us up at this time in the morning" A Pokémon called Gardevoir said with a very annoyed look.
"Yeah It's only 5 in the morning what gives" the other Team Member who was a Gothitelle huffed in frustration "We need our beauty sleep too you know!"
"You don't understand, it's Team Hydro" The Mage Pokémon said with a concerned look "They kidnapped another Exploration Team and we have to stop them because these kids are in Grave Danger if we don't do anything"
"Oh dear god you're right we have to get going right away" Gardevoir cried as she finally woke up properly, she knew this wasn't a good sign.
"Yeah I'm worried too but what about breakfast" Gothitelle stated with a hungry look on her face causing both of her team mates to fall down Anime Style with dumbfounded looks.
"IS your stomach the only thing you can think about, THIS is an Emergency" Gardevoir cried as she looked at her friend irritably as Gothitelle Sweatdropped.
"Never mind that, Gothitelle we will have breakfast once we've saved these kids, c'mon we've got no time to lose girls…"
Both nodded in understanding at Delphox's wise words "Right".
Meanwhile at Team Hydro's Castle…
"LET US OUT OF HERE" Tommy screamed as he shook the bars with an angry look on his face, they had been tricked by a Froakie called Bubbles who they had befriended believing him to be a nice Pokémon however it turned out they had been played for fools by Bubbles.
Bubbles smirked as he sat in the chair guarding them wearing his crown "Nope, I'm afraid you aren't getting out of there because we're going to kill you and once you two are dead Megan will become our Slave and she will suffer the way she made me suffer, no one messes with Bubbles and gets away with it hehehe"
"It's no good Tommy, he won't listen" Sammy whispered to the scared Pikachu, this was the first time Sammy or Megan had ever seen Tommy this scared.
"Yeah just calm down okay, I'm sure everything will be fine maybe someone will save us" Megan said as she reached out to hold his paw making him blush as he snatched it away.
"No we're doomed, It's over for us I mean who will know we're here, I mean this castle is in the middle of nowhere, I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" Tommy started crying so loudly his sobs could be heard all over the castle but that just made Bubbles even happier, he loved seeing other people suffer.
"Crying isn't going to save you, you're such a wimp" The frog pokemon leered at them causing the three to scream in fright making him smile all the more.
"Don't give up until the very end Tommy, there's still hope and there's only one Exploration Team who can save us now!" Megan said as she slapped him across the face bringing him to his senses as he rubbed his face from the pain of the slap.
"Ow that hurt and who can save us, is it possible that there is still hope left for us" he asked the fox Pokémon.
"THE PSYCHIC WONDERS CAN" the two female pokemon shouted so loud that ever Froakie could hear them and that made him tense up, he knew they were right, The Psychic Wonders were beyond ordinary but he refused to admit defeat.
Suddenly he heard the door crash open as he looked around quickly and saw the silhouettes of three pokemon… Delphox, Gardevoir and Gothitelle, The Psychic Wonders had found them.
"Megan you were right, they did come" Tommy squealed in delight at the three Pokémon stood at the doorway as they stepped into the room with an angry look on their face causing Bubbles to flinch in fear, where were Greninja and Frogadier?
"Hmmm those other two Pokémon were a piece of cake, just got one left to go, this is easier than I thought you truly are a bunch of weaklings Team Hydro, we shoud've known you would pull this kind of scheme like you always do but THIS TIME YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY WITH IT" Delphox screamed at the terrified bubblefrog stood in front of the cage where Team Ace were locked up in.
"Yes your evil days come to an end NOW" Gardevoir shouted in disgust.
"Yes maybe we could eat you for breakfast, Froakie sounds appetising" Gothitelle said dreamily just imagining eating a froakie made her drool.
"WOW They are so awesome" Megan cheered happily with stars in her eyes "You show him"
Oh dear without the boss or Frogadier I have no chance of beating these ladies, I guess I should just admit defeat because there is no way I am going to be able to defeat The Psychic Wonders on my own Bubbles thought to himself, their was no other choice but to give up and try another day.
"You know what I'm just going to give you the keys and here you can have this crown so see ya but next time I wont lose to the likes of you" Bubbles sneered as he handed Delphox the crown and the keys to the cage as he started to run out of the room but was stopped by Delphox.
"Um there's the matter of the arrest" Making bubbles tense up as he ran as fast as his little legs could carry him to find his boss and Frogadier.
"B-But…" Delphox started but before she could finish what she was trying to say she felt a hand on her shoulder, it was Gardevoir.
She smiled "Don't worry about them, I'm sure we will get them next time but for now we have more important matters to deal with"
"Wow, that was awesome and Bubbles is such a coward it's unbelievable" Sammy said with a Matter-of-Fact look.
"Yeah I never knew how awesome they were" Tommy smiled at his two friends who smiled back at him, everything was going to be alright after all.
Delphox walked up to the cage, put the key in the lock and turned it unlocking the door of a cage with a click as she opened it as the three pokemon ran out and smiled brightly at their saviours.
"Are you kids ok?" Delphox asked them with a worried look on her face, the same kind of worried look a mother would have if something bad had happened to her children.
"Yeah we're fine thank you for saving us, I was starting to lose hope but thanks to Megan she really calmed me down, she's your biggest fan you know" Tommy said surprising Delphox quite a bit.
"Really and what might you names be?" she asked the Team with a smile.
"Well my names Tommy and these are my friends Sammy and Megan" Tommy said happily as he pointed to each of his friends.
Delphox kneeled down in front of Megan and smiled down at her causing Megan to jump in surprise.
"So I heard from your friend you're quite a fan is that right sweetheart"
"Yes Um I admire you and your entire team, would it be too much to ask for an autograph" Megan said as she felt a paw pat her on the head, it was Delphox.
"That wouldn't be a problem Honey" Delphox beamed as she pulled out a Pen and paper and scribbled her signature on it and handed it to the blushing fennekin making the young Pokémon squeal in excitement as she danced around happily making the older Pokémon beam at Megan's happiness, she loved seeing kids happy.
"Well isn't that sweet" Gardevoir smiled.
"You know what else is sweet? FOOD!" Gothitelle exclaimed as her stomach rumbled loudly making everyone laugh.
"Well anyway we should get going, we need to get something to eat so Gothitelle can stop complaining" Delphox informed the bunch patting them all on the head as they started to walk towards the exit.
Sammy beamed brightly "Thank you so much for saving us, if it wasn't for you we would be dead by now so thank you"
"No Problem if you ever need help again THE PSYCHIC WONDERS WILL BE THERE" All 3 Psychic Pokémon exclaimed as they threw peace signs.
"Stay Safe and watch out for Team Hydro, they are quite the troublemakers" Gardevoir said in a calm soothing voice.
"Don't worry we will, I hope we do meet you guys again" Tommy beamed at the other Exploration Team.
"Yeah we will never forget what you did for us" Megan said happily to their heroes.
And with that a bright light suddenly flashed and they suddenly found themselves on the outskirts of Destiny Town, The Psychic Wonders must have used their teleportation powers to bring them back home.
"Wow AMAZING, that was an unbelievable experience and you got your wish to meet them Megan, that's truly something" Sammy smiled at her fox friend who was still starry eyed as they walked into the Town waving to other Pokémon who walked past them waving back, everyone in Town seemed Happy and so were Team Ace.
Later that Night…
It was night time in Destiny Town and Team Ace was finally home, most of them were fast asleep in their rooms except for one.
No Matter how hard Tommy tried he just couldn't get to sleep, he felt like he was forgetting something like a Day that most people loved but he hated?, he looked at the calendar on the wall and gasped, it was almost that time of year again, his most despised holiday because it was the day when his old girlfriend Amy in the human world had been killed by that mysterious man years ago… VALENTINE'S DAY

Next Chapter – Tommy, Valentine's Day Hater?!
It's Valentine's Day a Day of Love and a Day where girls or boys would finally admit their feelings towards the other by giving them chocolates and gifts of love but Megan and Sammy both have feelings towards Tommy and they find this the perfect chance to admit their love to him but there's one problem… Tommy hates Valentine's Day, Will Megan and Sammy manage to show him that Valentine's Day isn't so bad or will their efforts be for nothing.
