Chapter 10 – Tommy, Valentine's Day Hater?!
Ahh Valentine's Day, A Day of Love and a Day where boys or girls would give gifts of Love or admit their feelings towards each other, a wonderful sight indeed however there is one Pokémon who isn't too fond of this special Romantic Day.
Tommy opened his eyes slightly and squinted, it was very sunny especially for February, he looked at the calendar on the wall and all his fears had been confirmed, it was Valentine's Day a day which he despised and the reason he hated this day was because of his past, you see Tommy had a Girlfriend called Amy and she had died on Valentine's Day which is the reason why Tommy despises Valentine's, it always made him feel empty inside and instead filled with Sadness and Angst.
"W-What's the point…"
He fell back on the bed and closed his eyes to return to sleep and decided to wake up tonight instead once all the chaos was over.
Meanwhile…
"Yay It's Valentine's Day, now I can finally proclaim my love to Tommy" Megan said dreamily as she sat on the sofa wondering what her life would be like with Tommy as her boyfriend, it truly made her smile.
Sammy Smirked "Dream on girl but Tommy's mine, I aint gonna let this opportunity slip through my fingers"
Her Fennekin friend raised an eyebrow "Oh yeah and how is he yours, he isn't even mine… YET"
"Oh don't you worry I have a little 'Trick' up my sleeve" Sammy grinned as she pulled out a small bottle with a love heart on it saying 'Love Potion'.
Megan gasped in disbelief at what Sammy was suggesting, she couldn't believe that Sammy would stoop this low just so she could be with Tommy.
"But that's cheating, it's better to do it fair and square"
Sammy smirked again "I Can't be bothered this time so I just want to get it over and done with and this is the only way"
"B-But Sammy…" Megan started but was interrupted by Sammy.
"See ya, I'm gonna wake him up" She stated with a Smirk as she started running up the stairs.
"Well I'm coming too" and with that both girls ran up the stairs and down the upstairs hallway until the came to a halt in from of Tommy's room.
Sammy knocked on the door.
No Answer…
She knocked on the door again
No Answer…
She knocked on it AGAIN
Still… No Answer…
Sammy huffed in frustration "What could he be doing in there"
"Tommy are you in there, it's time to get up!" Megan shouted through the door.
They finally got a reply but it certainly wasn't what they were expecting "Go Away, I'm not in the mood" he sounded depressed which made Megan's little heart break, she hated it when he was depressed.
Sammy stomped her foot on the ground in anger "THAT'S IT WE'RE COMING IN!" and with that she kicked open the door to find Tommy was still in bed under the covers and it sounded like he was… Crying?
"I told you not to come in…" Tommy murmured from under the blankets.
Megan was extremely worried now "What's wrong pal, please tell us I mean we are your friends and if it's embarrassing we won't laugh"
Sammy nodded in agreement as Tommy pulled the blankets down to reveal his tear stricken face making Megan feel even worst.
"You Promise?" Tommy croaked as he rubbed his sore throat.
"We Promise!" Megan smiled at him causing him to smile a little bit.
"Well I had a girlfriend in the human world…" Megan already knew this but couldn't tell him that "…and she was killed on Valentine's Day" that part Megan did not know and she suddenly knew what the problem was, his problem was Valentine's Day.
"I see… so you hate Valentine's Day because it brings back awful Memories, I am so sorry Tommy" both Megan and Sammy cried as they hugged the young Pikachu making him feel a little better but truth be told he was still very depressed.
After all three pokemon had finished hugging each other Tommy decided to get up, usually he would stay in bed on Valentine's Day but today he would give it a go even though it hurt him emotionally.
"You're getting up, that's wonderful Tommy" Sammy smiled as she sneakily tried to get the Love Potion unfortunately Megan caught her and snatched the Love Potion out of her grasp.
"You won't be needing this Sammy" Megan smirked as she gave Tommy a quick kiss on the cheek making him blush slightly and causing Sammy to groan.
"That is so unfair!" Sammy huffed in annoyance.
"Um can someone tell me what's going on here?" Tommy piped in with a confused expression causing Megan to giggle.
"Nothing Tommy, I'm going to make breakfast okay so come down when you're ready" and with that Megan ran down the hall and down the stairs happily, she opened the door and threw the Love Potion into the bushes out of sight, hopefully no one will find it.
"There, now we can do this fair and square"
She smiled as she closed the door behind her just as Sammy walked downstairs with a grin.
"You did the right thing Megan, thank you" Sammy said happily as she skipped into the living room smiling all the way which made Megan smile as she walked into the kitchen and turned on the oven as she grabbed some Sitrus Berries for the drinks, Sausages and Eggs.
As she continued to make breakfast Tommy peered through the door with a Smile.
"Ooooh Something Smells good, but you cooking is always brilliant" as Megan turned around and gave him a smile of gratitude.
"Thank you, that really means a lot you know" The young Fennekin said as she hid the blush that had started to crawl onto her face.
"You're really cute when you blush" Tommy exclaimed causing Megan's blush to deepen so much it looked like her head was practically on fire.
"T-Thank you, t-that's r-really s-sweet" Megan stuttered at his compliment and all this made her wonder, did her feel the same way about her that she did about him because she could noticed a faint blush on Tommy's face too.
"Anyway thanks for cheering me up, maybe it isn't so bad after all" Tommy beamed at the fox Pokémon as he started to walk out of the kitchen towards the living room as she nodded and went back to cooking their Breakfast.
…
"Wow, tastes great" Tommy exclaimed as he ate his eggs which were delicious.
"Yeah hmm these aren't too munch bad munch" Sammy muttered as she munched on her sausages.
"Glad you guys like it, it took me a while but I made it" Megan smiled as she watched her friends chow down on their food as she started eating her own.
Knock Knock
"Huh who could that be" Sammy wondered as she got up and headed towards the door but when she opened it she noticed there were a few girls stood at the door holding presents – a Skitty, a Kirlia and an Emolga.
"Um hello, what do you want" Sammy confusedly asked the three female Pokémon all of whom were blushing.
"Could you give these to Tommy please" All 3 Girls said in unison as they threw the gifts at Sammy and ran away into Town.
"Um Ok"
Sammy closed the door and re-entered the Living Room and threw the Gifts at Tommy who had finished his dinner and was watching a film called 'Saving Private Raichu'.
He caught the presents and started to wonder what was in them, he unwrapped them and noticed all 3 presents were boxes of chocolates with a note in each one saying 'will you be my valentine?'
He immediately started blushing and screamed "Ahhhhhhhh I HATE VALENTINE'S DAY" as he dropped the chocolates and ran upstairs to his room shutting his door with a loud bang that even Megan and Sammy could hear.
"Well…. Um I guess Valentine's Day isn't for everyone" Megan sweatdropped as Sammy facepawed.
"Yeah well anyway maybe we should go sort Tommy out" Sammy said with a frustrated look as the two Pokémon ran out of the room and ran up to Tommy's Room Giggling all the way.

Summary - Sammy has noticed she is forgetting something but after a week of wondering she realizes it's almost Megan's Birthday and she hasnt got her anything so she asks Tommy to help her find the perfect Present for Megan!
Sorry, I Know this Chapter wasn't the best but I just wanted to get it over and done with so we can move on to the next chapter and it's Megan's Birthday, what will Tommy and Sammy get her, stay tuned to find out!
