Chapter 13 – To Teach or Not To Teach!
A Familiar Pikachu walked into a classroom as the students took their places at their seats, the Pikachu stood up in front of the class and smiled brightly at them "Hello Class I'm your new Teacher, my name is Tommy"
You are probably extremely confused as to what is happening well let's go back to one day ago when Team Ace received the letter that would change everything.
One Day Earlier…
Team Ace had arrived home after hours and hours of strict training, they had all gone to Machoke's Dojo on Muscle Cliffs and he had been much stricter than they had thought he would be but the important thing was it was over, as much as the training was tough it will eventually pay off and all 3 of them knew that.
"Wow, that… was… tougher… than… I… thought…" Sammy panted as the team started walking through the gates and up the stairs leading to the mansion but something caught Megan's eye as soon as they reached the front door.
There was a letter lying on the front porch "Huh what's this" Megan asked her two friends who also had noticed the strange letter.
"I dunno lemme read it" A Confused Sammy replied as she picked up the letter and ripped open the envelope and started to read the letter.
Dear Team Ace
We've got a crisis on our hands at our school, the students have been mysteriously disappearing and we have reason to believe criminals are behind this and we know how talented you are at defeating lawbreakers, so what we want you to do is go undercover by working for us, we have already decided what jobs you can all do.
Tommy we want you to teach our Maths Class because the Maths Teacher is off ill this week
Sammy we want you to work in the kitchens
Megan we want you to Teach the Fire Pokémon Attack Class Since you yourself are a fire type and you are experienced in battle.

"Wow, this was completely out of the blue but it's a good thing I know my Maths and Maths is a very important subject" Tommy exclaimed at his astonished partners.
"Why do I have to work in the Kitchens, you're the Cook Megan" Groaned a Disappointed Sammy.
"Hmm No Idea Sammy but you know what… I think this will be a lot of fun and it'll be great experience for us besides we can't let this criminal get away with kidnapping kids, IT'S UNACCEPTABLE" Megan Exclaimed.
"Well Here we go Again!" All 3 of them sang at the same time as they jumped in the air and hi-fived each other as they smiled at one another.

A Female Pikachu raised her head upon hearing the Pikachu say his name was Tommy, It couldn't be THAT TOMMY could it?
"So then first thi…" but before his sentence the young female Pikachu raised her paw and blurted out.
"Are you Tommy, like Tommy from the super cool exploration team Team Ace?"
Tommy scratched the back of his head in embarrassment "Heh well I wouldn't call us 'Super Cool' but yes I am and next time please don't shout out while I'm talking, and what might your name be?
"Oh I'm Hayley" She replied with a blush as she looked down at her notes again, she couldn't believe her biggest crush was teaching her class, she had admired Tommy for quite some time now and he was much cuter in person than she had thought he would be.
"Alright then, as I was saying first things first never call me sir or mr, I aint too fond of formality and I prefer being casual and second I am assuming this is maths but to start this off I would like you all to introduce yourselves and looking around the room there doesn't seem to be many of you here, in fact there seems to be only 5 of you, you there would you like to start?" He exclaimed as he pointed at a Male Shinx on the front row.
"I'm Steve, I'm 8 Years Old and I Love Maths, it's my favourite subject"
He Pointed at Hayley who was also sitting at the front next causing her to blush.
"Oh uhh I'm Hayley as you already know and I'm 10 Years Old, Sp. Attack Class is my Favourite"
He Pointed at a Female Piplup on the Middle Row
"I'm Atlanta and I am also 10 Years Old and it's mine and Hayley's final year at this school, my favourite lesson is Swimming because I'm a water type and you know how much we Water Types love water"
He then Pointed at a Smirking Male Treecko sitting at the back of the room.
"My Name is Forrest and that's all you need to know about me"
And Finally he pointed at a Male Chimchar sitting on the front next to Atlanta and he was holding her flipper.
"I'm Terrance, I'm 10 Years Old also, Atlanta here is my girlfriend and she's my favourite thing in the whole wide world" causing Atlanta to blush.
"Aww isn't that sweet anyway now that all of us have introduced ourselves let's begin the lesson shall we" he said as he smiled at the very small class.

The lesson had finally finished after 2 hours of maths, it was now 12:00pm which meant it was lunch time and truth be told Tommy was quite hungry.
Tommy was putting the chalk away and stacking the papers neatly on his desk as the students left to exit the class and head to lunch but as soon as Tommy raised his head he noticed Hayley was still there and was staring at him.
"Um it's lunch now shouldn't you get going" Tommy said as he approached her desk and smiled at her.
"Y-Yeah I-I Suppose" She mumbled to herself as she quickly got up and ran out of the room trying to hide her blush as she closed the door with a loud bang behind her leaving a bewildered Tommy behind.

Tommy entered the bustling cafeteria, deep down he was kind of worried about that young Pokémon who called herself Hayley, why did she run out of the room like that, it certainly was strange and worrying at the same time, he went to the front of the line and noticed Sammy giving out Berry Salad, she smiled upon noticing him as she passed him a bowl and motioned for him to lean in, he leaned in and she whispered to him "How long is this going to go on for, I hate this job"
"If we can figure this mystery out soon then we shouldn't be here for long, don't worry we will get to the bottom of this" He whispered back with a smile.
She beamed as he started walking away with his salad as she called to him "Alright then"
Tommy suddenly noticed Megan sitting alone drinking her Oran berry soup, he sneaked up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder "Guess Who"
She turned around and smiled upon noticing Tommy smiling at her and she exclaimed happily "Hey Tommy"
He Sat down next to her and put his Salad down on the table as he turned his head and smiled at her "How did the Fire Pokémon Attack Class Go?"
"It went surprisingly well, it was so much fun and the Students were very well behaved, have you made any progress on our mission?" She asked the Electric Type who frowned.
"No Unfortunately but all we have to do is wait and maybe something will happen which will help us find out who is behind this, have you made any progress on it" Tommy said to the curious fox Pokémon.
"Nope, I guess we're in the same boat then" Said Megan as she sweatdropped causing Tommy to giggle a little bit.
"Neither have I" they heard a voice say behind and with that the pair turned around and noticed Sammy sitting next there.
"Um shouldn't you be working Sammy" Tommy asked the Grinning Chestnut Pokémon.
She Smiled "They said I could have a 15 Minute Break… So none of us have made any progress at all, well that's just great isn't it?!"
"Patience Sammy, we will figure it out soon enough" Tommy beamed at the female Chespin who smiled back.
"U-Um T-Tommy" they heard a voice say behind them and they turned around only to spot Hayley standing there holding a piece of Paper and looking at Tommy intently.
"Huh who's this?" Megan asked confusedly.
"Oh everyone this is Hayley, she's one of the students in my class" Tommy informed his curious friends who were both smiling at the female Pikachu holding the Piece of Paper.
"Yeah, Um Tommy would you m-mind g-giving—Can I have your autograph" Hayley stammered as she held out the Paper.
Tommy scratched the back of his neck In embarrassment "Uhhhh I don't do that kind of stuff besides it's not like I'm a celebrity or anything"
"P-Please…" She sniffled looking like she was ready to cry as she gave Tommy the lillipuppy dog eyes making Tommy feel bad, that was his biggest weakness, he hated the lillipuppy dog eyes.
"Fine I Give Up, Okay then…" He gave in as he accepted the paper, he picked up a pen from the table, signed the autograph and he finally gave it back to the fellow Pikachu "There, are you happy now?"
"Yeah very much t-thank you" She exclaimed with a blush as she gazed at him with starry eyes and a clearly visible blush on her face as she ran towards the exit with a look of pure happiness.
"Looks like someone has a secret admirer" Megan snickered causing Tommy to blush a deep shade of red and causing Sammy to laugh loudly.
"Shut up, I do n…" but before he could continue suddenly…
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Someone suddenly screamed and everyone in the hall heard it… it appeared to be coming from the corridor.
Sammy gasped "W-What was that?"
"No Idea but we've gotta find out" Said Tommy with a seriously look on his face.
The three got up and along with the rest of the school ran out into the hall to see who had screamed and what they saw they weren't expecting.
An Emolga was lying on the ground unconscious and there was a shadowy Pokémon bent over her causing everyone to gasp and Tommy shouted at it.
"HEY WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING"
The Pokémon gasped in surprise, stood up and started to run as fast as his legs could take him, Tommy growled in anger as he began to pursuit the mysterious Pokémon, he chased the Pokémon throughout the halls and it was so dark Tommy couldn't see what kind of Pokémon it was, it was just a tall Pokémon that looked really suspicious.
The Pokémon turned a corner and Tommy turned the corner but…
"He's gone b-but how?!"
Tommy returned to the others with a disappointed look on his face and the Emolga was gone, he assumed they had taken her to the school's hospital.
"Sorry Guys, I Failed to catch it and I didn't even get to see what kind of Pokémon it was, Sorry but I might have an Idea now first things first how's Emolga doing" Tommy sighed in defeat.
Nurse Audino replied with a smile "Emolga's going to be fine, a bit Traumatic but she will pull through, it was a good thing you were here Tommy otherwise who knows what might have happened"
"Yes and don't worry about losing him, I'm sure we will find out who it is soon but I am very interested to know what this Idea of yours is Tommy" A Kind old voice said behind him and Tommy turned around and found himself face to face with Sceptile, the Headmaster.
"Yeah It's an Idea I think you might like" The young Pikachu replied to the Kind Old Man.
"Okay then well if you would be so kind as to come with to me to my office and tell me the details of your idea, you can bring your friends along too if you would like" Sceptile replied with a friendly smile.
"Okay" all 3 Pokémon replied.
…
"So, What's this Idea of Yours" Sceptile asked with a curious look on his face as he sat down in his chair and the three Pokémon sat down on chairs on the other side of his desk.
"Well It will take a couple of hours so that means we can't teach our classes…" Tommy told the kind headmaster as he scratched the back of his neck sheepishly.
"Oh Don't worry about that, Substitutes can take over for today so do tell, what is the plan?"
"Yeah that's what I want to know, this sounds like it'll be interesting" The Chespin sat next to him said with a smile as she turned to look at him.
Megan giggled "Yeah but any of Tommy's Ideas are interesting, he's full of 'em"
Tommy blushed in embarrassment "Well In order to find out who the crook is we need to install lot's of cameras all around the school and in the morning watch the footage and find out who this is!"
"That sounds very interesting and that should be easy to do, it will probably take all afternoon but it should all pay off, let's start shall we" Sceptile beamed.
"YEAH" The 3 Pokémon cheered at once.
…
It was 4:00, the students had gone home about 2 Hours and Team Ace along with the Headmaster Sceptile had finished installing the Camera's in every single part of the school.
"I Hope this works Tommy" Megan smiled.
"Yeah Me too" Sammy piped in.
"Yeah this was a brilliant Idea, you should be very proud Tommy" Sceptile said in his kind old voice with a smile.
"With a bit of luck it should work" Tommy smirked.
The Next Morning…
"Yawn, Good Morning Class" Tommy yawned as walked into the classroom and sat at the desk, he was extremely tired from all the action and hard work that he did yesterday.
All of the Pokémon in the room threw glances at each other, each one of them were worried about their teacher who currently had his head on the desk struggling to keep his eyes open.
Atlanta raised her flipper and frowned "Are you okay Sir-I Mean Tommy"
He raised his head up and tried to force a smile as he replied "I'm fine, don't worry about me just tired that's all, now let me count all of you just to check there's no one missing"
He counted the Pokémon in the class pointing a finger at each of the students… I. 2. 3. 4? He could swear there was a 5th Student.
"Strange, I could swear there were 5 Students in this class or was I mistaken" Tommy frowned as he yawned again.
"There was, Hayley doesn't seem to be here but that doesn't make any sense because I saw her just this morning but she didn't come in and that's strange for her to not come to a Lesson" Steve added as he raised an eyebrow.
Upon hearing this Tommy suddenly got up, he was fully awake now and Steve was right, there was something very fishy about all of this.
"Class stay here okay, I have something I have to take care of and it is very urgent so if you have any homework or a book to read just do that while I'm gone and whatever you do, DON'T MOVE!" The Pikachu said in a serious tone as he ran out the door leaving behind an astonished class.
He ran down the hallway to the dinner hall and the Fire Pokémon Attack Room to find Sammy and Megan who both agreed to come with Tommy, the three Pokémon ran down the hall and barged into the Headmaster's Room who spat out his tea in Surprise.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!" Sceptile roared "If you want to come in knock first"
"Sir this is serious, we need to see the CCTV Footage right away" Tommy exclaimed with a look of worry clearly evident on his face "We need to see footage from the last hour"
"He's Telling the truth, this is very serious" Megan added and Sammy nodded in agreement.
Sceptile smiled at the young Pokémon and replied in his usual kind old voice "Alright then"

Sceptile pressed the button on the TV and all 4 Pokémon watched as the events of the last hour began to unfold before their very eyes, nothing much happened for 25 Minutes until finally it got to the point where Hayley arrived at school, she talked to a few of her friends and all of her friends walked into the school and as soon as she was alone a Pokémon dropped down and grabbed her from behind and picked her up and started running away from the school with her shouting and screaming for him to let her go which caused the 4 Pokémon watching the TV to gasp at what had just happened in front of their eyes.
"Oh no this isn't good, he's taken her to the abandoned warehouse" Sceptile growled in spite at what he had just witnessed.
"But isn't the abandoned warehouse really scary" Sammy shivered at the thought.
Megan smirked "We're an Exploration Team, Scary doesn't mean anything"
Tommy snarled in anger "…And that Pokémon, IT WAS THE SAME ONE FROM YESTERDAY, COME ON LET'S GO!"
Both Girls nodded in agreement "Right!"
"I think I'll stay here and let you guys take care of these criminals" Sceptile piped in and all 3 of them Nodded in understanding.
"Alright then"
And with that Team Ace ran out of the room and started running towards the Warehouse where they can finally get some answers and find out who or what this criminal is.
…
They had finally arrived at the warehouse and it certainly looked abandoned, wires were everywhere, debris was all over the place, the wood on the warehouse was rotten and it smelled.
The three Pokémon entered the Warehouse and as soon as they walked in they could see all the students that had been kidnapped tied up which consisted of a Tepig, Minccino, Deerling, Skitty, Riolu, Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon and Hayley the Pikachu was also among them.
All of the Pokémon looked sad but upon noticing Team Ace all of them smiled and started to cheer and Hayley spotted Tommy and her eyes started to water in happiness.
"T-Tommy, you came to save me, M-My Hero" Sobbed Hayley and Tommy smiled brightly at her.
He whispered to the Pokémon "Okay let's get you guys out of here before this bad Pokémon comes back okay?"
The three started to approach the bunch of Pokémon tied up but before they could get close enough a familiar Pokémon jumped down from the ceiling, IT WAS GRENINJA of Team Hydro.
"GRENINJA, you're in Team Hydro aren't you so then where are Bubbles and that Frogadier" Tommy asked the Dual Type Pokémon in confusion.
Greninja face pawed "I Asked them to join me but apparently they would rather go on holiday than kidnap Pokémon with me and because of this we can't do the motto this time"
He noticed Tommy was laughing at him and the Ninja Pokémon growled in anger.
"H-Hey why are you laughing at me"
Tommy smirked "You're alone, there are 3 of us so who's going to win?"
Greninja tensed up, he hadn't thought about that well why would he, he hadn't been alone on a Mission before, he scowled at the Smug Pikachu "How Dare you Mock Me"
"heh what a Joke well here goes"
All three of the Pokémon jumped into the air and they shouted their attacks together at once.
"THUNDERBOLT"
"EMBER"
"VINE WHIP"
And they all shot their attacks at the Pokémon at once, it hit Greninja directly which caused a Major Explosion and sent the Pokémon flying up smashing the roof to pieces and sent him flying into the sky as he screamed.
"I WILL GET MY REVENGE"

Sceptile smiled at Tommy, Megan and Sammy as he and the rest of Tommy's Class said goodbye, It was the end of the day and since they had finally figured out the mystery they could quit now much to Hayley's disappointment.
"I can't believe you're going Tommy, I will sure miss you teaching our class but I Um… Made t-this for you" Hayley said shyly blushing as she handed him a card which everyone in the class had wrote in.
"Well that's sweet of you thanks" Tommy beamed at the female Pikachu as he patted her on the head causing her blush to deepen.
"You did good work Tommy and if you ever are looking for a job just come and talk to me" Sceptile smiled down at the Exploration Team who returned the smile.
"Sure" all 3 of them said at once as they started heading home waving goodbye to Tommy's Class and the School headmaster who was beaming brightly at them along with the rest of the class.
