Chapter 15 – Lost in the Foggy Mountains!
"Huh you want us to stay with you for the weekend"
It was another day in Destiny Town, Both Tommy and Sammy had gone to do shopping in town and Megan was at home and she had surprisingly got a call on the video phone from her parents who she hadn't talked to for a while now.
"Yes Dear we would like you to come visit us for the weekend because you haven't visited us for quite a long time and besides I would like to meet that Tommy I've heard so much about, when I heard he was in YOUR Exploration Team I was speechless, you really have some good friends so please just come stay with us for the weekend, that's all we ask of you" Her Mother, a Delphox called Angie replied with a know-it-all look on her face and Megan sighed.
"B-But..." Megan began but was interrupted.
"No BUTS, We Moved and We live at a Mansion on Bliss Hills now anyway it's pretty amazing you've found the right boy" Louise replied.
Megan started to blush really heavily "M-Mum what do y-you m-mean by that"
Louise snorted "Oh don't act like you don't like him, I can tell by the way you're blushing so tell me does he like you too?"
This Caused Megan's Blush to deepen as she replied "He's just my friend and…"
But before she could finish she heard the door open and Tommy shouted out to her "Megan we're home"
Megan turned her attention back to her mother on the video phone and she sighed in Defeat as she quickly said "Okay we'll come then, I've gotta go"
"Alright but in order to get here you need to go through a mountain called The Foggy Mountains so be careful because lots of explorers have got lost in that mountain" Louise informed her Daughter.
Megan smiled "Ok we will but I am sure that we will be fine Au Revoir"
And with that she turned off the video phone just as Tommy and Sammy entered the room both holding bags of shopping, they both put the bags down and smiled at Megan who approached them.
"Hey Tommy and Sammy who's up for a little holiday?" Megan beamed at the duo.
Both looked at each other in confusion and then turned their attention back to the beaming Fennekin.
"Um what kind of Holiday" Sammy asked the Fire Type.
"Well I just got a call from my parents and they have invited us to stay at theirs for the weekend" Megan told her curious friends.
Tommy smiled "So we're going to meet your family, Oh man this is gonna be so cool"
"Really Tommy you're excited? Nothing much happens there you know" Sammy asked him with a surprised look on her face.
"I am aware of that but I am excited to see what Megan's family are like, I would assume their pretty nice Pokémon right Megan?" Said Tommy.
"Oh yeah their nice but I honestly didn't want to go this time of year but what you gonna do?, so shall we leave tomorrow" Megan asked her two friends who both nodded and she continued "Alright then well I would recommend going upstairs and take what you need to take don't worry about taking a sleeping bag, they said they would make the sleeping arrangements, is that fine by you two?"
"Yep" Tommy beamed.
"Of Course" Sammy Smiled.
Megan grinned "Well then tomorrow we shall get this show on the road"
The Next Morning…
Megan was waiting outside for Tommy and Sammy who were both busy inside getting their things packed, it was 7:00 in the morning and Megan was all ready but the opposite could be said for Tommy and Sammy.
Both Pokémon finally exited the house, Tommy had a blue backpack and it would be used for carrying all the stuff they needed to carry.
"So are we all ready to go?" Megan asked the two Pokémon who both nodded.
And with that the three Pokémon set off for the Foggy Mountains and towards Megan's Parents' house.

After about 1 Hour of walking the trio finally arrived at the Foggy Mountains and the three Pokémon were ALREADY Exhausted from all the walking they had done.
"Well here we are Gang, The Foggy Mountains, You probably already know this but this is most likely another Mystery Dungeon meaning if we get defeated here we will get kicked out and when we go back in the layout will be different" Megan informed both Pokémon who nodded.
"Yeah we know" both replied.
And so with that the team started going up the mountain, on the way up they encountered and battled several Pokémon and as they advanced up up the rocky mountain path it seemed to get more foggier, they kept on walking up the mountain path until
"I Can't see anything how much farther to go" Sammy asked Megan with a worried expression causing Megan to tense up.
"Uh well Um you see uh…" Megan began but was interrupted.
Sammy gasped "Oh no you're stuttering this can't be good a-are w-we by any chance l-lost?"
"N-No of c-course n-not…" Megan lied.
Tommy facepawed "You know, you're a really bad lyer Meg.
"Okay w-we're lost, I'm terrible with directions" Megan sniffled as she started to tear up.
Tommy patted her on the back "It's okay Megan, next time let me take care of things"
She nodded and smiled gratefully at him "Alright"
"So then how do we get out of this Mountain" A Scared Sammy replied.
"Let's just keep going forward and maybe that way we might be able to find our way again" Beamed Tommy at the duo.
The three started walking up the mountain until they reached the peak reached a fork in the road with two paths that lead in different directions causing Sammy to groan.
"Seriously? there's two different ways but which way do we go Tommy?" The Terrified Chespin whimpered.
Tommy thought to himself Which way could be the way out of here? huh? It looks like the left one goes down and the right one goes up so IT'S THE RIGHT ONE! He realized.
"The one on the Right" Tommy simply stated causing both girls to gasp in amazement.
"B-But how did you figure it out that fast" A Wide-Eyed Megan asked.
"Yeah t-that's amazing" Sammy agreed with her best friend.
Tommy smirked "If you look closely you can notice the one on the left goes down and the one on the right leads up, it's pretty hard to notice on first glance since they both look level but if you observe it closely you can notice Left goes down and Right goes up, Simple as that plus it's quite foggy so that doesn't make things easier"
"Wow you are AMAZING" Sammy exclaimed and Megan nodded.
"Well I have to be prepared for things like this, well anyway shall we continue up…" But before he could continue a wild pidgey jumped out of no where and launched a gust attack at Tommy.
Tommy dodged just in time and smirked.
"THUNDERBOLT" He Screamed as he shot a powerful jolt of electricity at the bird Pokémon hitting it directly, knocking it off to the cliff down to the bottom of the moment.
"That was so awesome" A Starry eyed Megan exclaimed in awe.
"Nah it was nothing, let's just continue up this mountain, I think we're almost there" Tommy smiled.
Both Girls nodded and with that the three Pokémon chose the Right Path and advanced up the mountain, on the way there they ran into several Pokémon which they easily defeated and FINALLY after 25 Minutes of walking they had finally reached the top of the mountain and it was so foggy they could hardly see a thing but they did notice a light coming from the distance meaning they were getting close however all of a sudden the fog disappears and the blinding sun suddenly shines.
"Huh it's no longer foggy and the sun has come out, that's weird" Megan said as she raised an eyebrow.
"Don't worry anyway I can see the entrance to a cave, I think that might be the way out" Sammy piped in as she pointed at a cave at the other side of the Peak.
Tommy was unsure whether he should trust it and he agreed with Megan, it was very weird and suspicious that the fog would suddenly disappear like that but he pushed those thoughts to the back of his head and the group ran across the peak and enter the cave, it was dark inside but it was empty.
However at that moment they hear something hit that ground behind them, they turn around only to see bars over the doorway, they had been barred in…
"T-This was a trap, but who or what could have done this" Tommy gasped as he looked around the room but there appeared to be no one here.
"Weird, No one's here it s…" But Megan had spoke too soon because what happened next they weren't expecting.
Suddenly out of nowhere a fox like Pokémon who looked like it had nine tails jumped out of the shadows and stood in front of them frightening Team Ace, Sammy and Megan were hugging each other tightly and Tommy took a step back however he fell backwards.
He quickly got up and stood in front of Megan and Sammy in a protective manner.
"W-Who are you and what do you want with us, don't y-you t-think about l-laying a finger on my f-friends" Tommy stammered in fright.
"I don't mean to harm you, do you know who I am" The Pokémon asked the frightened Pikachu.
"N-No, who are you?" A Scared Tommy asked.
It Smirked "My name is Ninetails and all I want from you is a battle, I mean no harm"
Tommy raised an eyebrow in surprise "Uh really um well before I accept I wanna know why you locked the doorway"
Ninetails looked down at the floor with a sad look on its face "Because every time I ask a Pokémon for a battle they run out of here like cowards and because of this I haven't been able to have a battle for a long time"
"I'm so sorry to hear that, it's okay guys this Pokémon is fine" He smiled at his two hugging best friends who giggled and let go of each other.
Megan approached the Ninetails with a confused expression "Which one of us do you wanna battle?"
"I would assume you're an Exploration Team Correct?" It replied.
"Uh-Huh yep that's right" Confirmed Sammy.
"So which one of you is the leader?" It asked.
Tommy raised his paw "That would be me"
The Ninetails smirked and ran to the other side of the cave and got into battle position"So, Do you accept my challenge"
Tommy nodded "It would be wrong of me not to but if I battle you will you show us the way out of this mountain"
"Of course, and just so you know I aint gonna go easy on you" Ninetails smugly said.
"I don't expect anything less" Tommy replied.
"You can go first" It smirked.
"Alright then" and with that Tommy jumped into the air and shouted "THUNDERBOLT" Firing a powerful stream of electricity at the Ninetails however it swerved out of the way dodging the attack causing Megan and Sammy to both gasp.
"Wow it's fast" Megan gasped in disbelief and Sammy nodded.
Tommy growled "It may be fast but I won't let it win"
The Ninetails jumped into the air and screamed "FIRE BLAST"
All 3 of them gasped in shock at the same time.
"Oh no this isnt good" Sammy sweatdropped.
Tommy tried to swerve out of the way however the blast was too big and it ended up hitting Tommy directly sending him flying and crashing into the wall causing an explosion of dust which caused Megan and Sammy to gasp again in shock at Ninetails' Power.
"Tommy ARE YOU OKAY" Megan screamed in concern for the injured Pikachu.
The Dust cleared revealing a bruised and beat up Tommy lying on the floor, he grunted in pain as he tried to get up muttering to himself.
"N-Never give up until t-the v-very e-enddd…" However the pain was too much for the young Pokémon and he gasped before falling back to the ground and fainted.
"N-Ninetails one, I can't believe Tommy lost" Megan cried as both her and Sammy got up quickly and ran to tommy's side and shook him awake.
He slowly opened his eyes and looked up only to see a concerned Megan and Sammy looking at him with worry clearly evident on their faces.
"Tommy are you okay does it hurt" A worried Megan said.
"I lost didn't I, I guess I was no match for Ninetails" Tommy sighed as he started to cough up dust causing his friends to become more worried.
Sammy smiled "Yeah It was two powerful and you're really brave for trying to take it on like that"
Megan got up and turned around to face the Ninetails who had hurt her biggest crush and she was not happy at all.
"How dare you harm him, that was a bit too much Ninetails, you could've gone a little easier on him, you didn't have to be so rough ya know" Megan shouted at the Ninetails making it feel guilty.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so rough with him let me take care of this" Ninetails sighed as it started to walk towards Tommy causing Megan to snarl "Just Trust me Megan"
Ninetails looked down at Tommy and mumbled "Recover" causing Sammy and Megan to gasp as a pink energy was released from Ninetails and the cave lit up and the energy was absorbed into Tommy much to a surprised Megan and Sammy.
Tommy slowly stood up and noticed the pain had disappeared, he looked at his arms and it appeared that the bruises had gone too and it was almost like it had never happened.
"B-But h-how I never knew Ninetails could learn recover and I certainly didn't know you could use it to heal others" Tommy said.
Megan's rage had disappeared and it had been replaced by gratitude as she ran up to the Fox Pokémon and smiled brightly at it as she exclaimed "T-Thank you I'm sorry for ever doubting you"
"Yeah that was amazing" Sammy piped in.
Ninetails blushed in embarrassment "Aww shucks you're making me blush"
"Yeah and I thought that was a brilliant battle, Can't win 'em all, am I right or am I Right" Tommy added.
"Yeah anyway I guess I should keep to my promise, follow me" Said Ninetails as the four Pokémon started walking towards the other side of the cave.
It didn't take them long to reach the end of the cave before they arrived at a doorway, they walked through it only to find themselves in a dark tunnel and at the end of the tunnel they could see a light.
"That must be the end of the tunnel" Sammy exclaimed and with that the 3 Pokémon ran into the light and discovered they had made it out of the mountain and were now on a cliff and they could see loads of Hills and one of them was a huge mansion.
"Wow" Tommy exclaimed in delight.
"It's beautiful isnt it" they heard a voice behind them say.
The turned around and saw Ninetails smiling at them and they smiled back at the fox Pokémon.
"Thank you for all the help" Megan beamed as the three Pokémon started down the mountain.
"You're welcome, well I guess this is goodbye then Best Wishes and maybe one day we will meet again" Ninetails smiled at the retreating Pokémon who waved at it.
"BEST WISHES" The Group Shouted back at the Fire Type who waved back with a huge grin on it's face.
And so our heroes have finally made it out of the foggy mountains and are now heading towards Megan's Parents' home on bliss hills, what kind of adventures await them there well in order to find out you must STAY Tuned for more.

Next Chapter – Meet the Parents
Team Ace have finally arrived at Delphox Manor on Bliss Hills and there they meet Megan's mother Louise, her father Simon and her dorky little brother Timothy, Megan admits to her parents that she can't stop thinking about Tommy and how she loves him and telling them about him becoming a human, Tommy and Timothy spend some quality time together bonding and Sammy does some research on Bliss Hills.
Well what an action packed Chapter that was and I bet you weren't expecting Ninetails to make an appearance but anyway I hope you look forward to the next chapter where we finally get to meet Megan's Parents, I hope you look forward to it and I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
