Chapter 25

The four pokemon had only just stepped out of the restaurant when they were stopped.

Pyre unintentionally bumped into the gallade from earlier. "Oh, sorry about that, wasn't looking where I was going!"

"And you think you'll be a tough contender, with your lack of focus?" The psychic leaned down, sneering at Pyre. Behind the gallade were more pokemon than had initially been in the restaurant. Along with the zorua and machoke, there was a riolu, a meowth, and a totodile.

"Back off dude, we're out for a nice day, can you not antagonize my brother?" Tin sighed.

Galahad stepped closer and shoved Tin. "Shut up already, maybe if he wasn't such a coward he wouldn't be hiding behind his brother."

"Really? Shoving? Can you be any less original?" Tin shook his head and grabbed Pyre by the shoulder, making it clear he didn't want a fight.

What they didn't notice in their heated argument was Cynder and the totodile walking off absentmindedly around to the back of the restaurant. The reason for their behavior, a swaying metal trinket on a string in the hand of a hypno.

They didn't resist as they drew closer. Now out of sight of everyone else. "Stand still." The hypno commanded as he stepped around them. He ran his hands along their faces, their chests and bellies, and finally lifted their tails pressing his fingers to their tail holes. "Used, both of you. Hmm, less training for them I suppose, and a client has wanted a fennekin for a while."

A mightyena and drizzile stood beside him.

"Might wanna train this dile myself, boss." Mightyena spoke up shoving the totodile to the ground, breaking the hypnosis.

"HELP!!"

*Meanwhile*

Pyre was locked in a rather strange position, standing on Tin's head and glaring at Galahad, matching the gallade's energy. "I don't care if you pick on me, but nobody insults my big brother!"

"Pyre, could you not stand on my head for this?" Tin's request was ignored.

"Looks like your brother and your pals don't wanna fight, you sure you wanna try to take all of us?"

"Keep trash talking like a ninny and I won't try." Pyre spat back.

"That's what I thought." Galahad chuckled to himself in victory, then Pyre's true meaning set in and his eyes shot wide open. "Wait, you're serious? Hahaha!"

"HELP!!

Pyre had leapt from Tin's head in a flash, the cry for help spurring his body into action. He dashed around to the back of the restaurant.

His eyes locked first onto Cynder and totodile, then the three assailants. "What the hell is going on here!?"

Hypno reached his arm toward Cynder but felt a hot flame burn his hand and he reeled. Looking over Pyre was glaring threateningly at them.

"What's the plan boss? Boss?" Drizzile asked, noticing the Hypno suddenly teleporting Away by himself. "And he ditched us."

Cynder shook his head looking back and rushing to hide behind Pyre.

"Hey, I might need a hand with this guy if he sent boss running like that." Drizzile spoke again seeing his partner still holding totodile down.

"This one is on a battle team, can't risk fighting both of them." Mightyena replied.

Pyre called out to them. "Yeah and little take both of you to even take me on." The charmander advanced slowly, the flame on his tail flickering with every step. Orange, then black, then orange again.

Mightyena tossed totodile aside and rushed Pyre.

In that moment Tin, Placi, and the Kamino Academy battle team came around the corner to see Pyre throw his first attack, a single downward punch that caused the wolf-like pokemons head to slam into the concrete ground hard enough to crack it.

Not giving the assailant a break Pyre charged forth, throwing a punch at drizzle, but the water type stepped back spraying out a misty smokescreen. The charmander was unable to see, at least in the typical way. He could see the dark gray color emanating from the water type.

And seeing it he stepped forward grabbing him around his waist and lifting him up falling backwards, slamming the drizzile head first into the ground and knocking him out almost instantly.

With a spin of his tail, the mist was scattered.

The charmander rushed to Cynder's side. "Are you okay, what happened back there?"

"I'm not sure, I saw something around the corner then, I was here…" Cynder looked confused.

"They were feeling us up." Totodile added.

"Oh, glad I already called the cops then." Tin walked over and with Placi's help pinned the unconscious perpetrators in place. "They'll be here soon. You guys just, I don't know, wait or something."

The Kamino Academy team stared dumbfounded by how quickly everything had transpired. And the reality set in on how dangerous an opponent Pyre would be.

"Well shit." Galahad groaned.

*Nightshade Manor*

Blade and Shadow were rather comfortably snuggled on a couch watching cartoons on a rather large television Shadow had installed in his room. Something about a human boy and a magic stretching dog having silly adventures.

Blade stood up suddenly, needing to stretch. However he was struck with dizziness without warning. "Woah…" he grabbed the couch and held himself steady.

"Is something the matter darling?" Shadow stood up helping Blade maintain balance.

"Yeah just dizzy…and ugh, I feel like I'm gonna be sick…"

Shadow carefully lifted Blade. "What are you doing?"

"Taking you to the bathroom, in case you need to vomit." Shadow spoke plainly. After carefully carrying him into the bathroom, Shadow gently sat Blade in front of the toilet. "I'm here for you."

"Thanks Shad…" Blad began then suddenly turned gripping the toilet bowl. "Huuuuugh" The sound was rather distressing, but not as worrying as the sudden loss of his stomach contents. "Oooh what the fuck…did I eat something bad?"

Shadow began to gently pat Blade on the back, and grabbed a towel to wipe his face. "Hmm, I will have you seen by our physician. Try not to worry, okay?"

Blade smiled at how attentive Shadow was being. "Thanks Shadow." He considered hugging the darkrai, but before he could he began to puke into the toilet again. "Fuckin hell!"

Shadow wiped his face again. "You will get through this Blade, a little vomit will not kill you."

He'd only done it twice, but Blade looked ragged already. And then he began to hurl into the toilet again.
