Chapter 17 – Return to Destiny Town!
"WE'RE HOOOOOOOOOME" Tommy screamed at the top of his lungs upon reaching the entrance of Destiny Town.
Our Heroes have finally made it back to destiny town in one piece after a visit to Megan's Parents' home and they were all pretty exhausted from all the walking they had been doing in order to get back to their home.
"Ye-Yeah but man I'm so exhausted" Sammy panted with a tired look on her face.
"Me-Me too wow, It's true, it does feel like it takes longer when you retrace your steps back" Megan added with a sigh.
"Yeah but the good thing is…" but before Tommy could finish what he was going to say the three overheard a Pidgeotto and a Fletchinder talking about something very peculiar as they walked into the small and quiet town.
"Rumour has it Xatu has finally returned" The Fletchinder said.
"W-What, R-Really, it's been a really long time since we've heard from Xatu" The surprised Pidgeotto replied.
Upon hearing this the three immediately woke up and Tommy squealed in excitement as he ran towards the two pokemon causing both Megan and Sammy to gasp as they followed suit.
"Did you just say Xatu's returned?" Tommy asked the Fletchinder.
"Well Yes… but I also said it's just a…" But before Fletchinder could finish what it was sayinging Tommy squealed in excitement.
And with that the Pikachu ran as fast as he could to Xatu's place with an excited expression on his face causing both Megan and Sammy to sweatdrop.
"Sorry about him" Sammy apologized.
And so both Megan and Sammy ran after Tommy in order to catch up with him.
…
"Is it true that Xatu is back" Tommy asked down the videophone.
"Who is this again?" Xatu's Wife replied.
"Uh it's me Tommy and Megan and Sammy" Replied Tommy.
There were a few seconds of silence before she answered "Ahhh, Team Ace, we were expecting you, come on in"
They heard the door buzz and it opened revealing a Xatu who had a big smile on her face as she motioned for them to enter the house.
"Wow Nice House Mrs. Xatu!" Megan exclaimed.
"Why, thank you dear, now c'mon follow me he's been expecting you"
"Okay" all 3 of them replied.
They followed the Lady Xatu down the hallway and they arrived in a living room, with all sorts of psychic related items, there was a TV in the corner, A Sofa and an Armchair which Xatu was sitting on reading his news paper and the room was a purple colour.
He didn't seem to notice the three walk in because he kept his attention on his Newspaper so Mrs. Xatu cleared her throat to get his attention and it seemed to work because as soon as she cleared her throat he looked up from the Newspaper and beamed upon noticing Tommy, Megan and Sammy.
"Look who's come to see you" Mrs. Xatu said with a grin.
Xatu put his newspaper down and immediately got up off the sofa and approached the three Pokémon smiling down at them.
"So… I've been expecting you!" Exclaimed Xatu.
"So the rumours are true, you have returned" Said Sammy.
"Yep, so I heard you want to know why your friend here turned into a Pokémon am I correct?" Xatu asked waiting for confirmation.
"Yes Sir, my name is Tommy and as you know I used to be a human but somehow I was turned into a Pokémon, the only problem is I don't know why or who turned me into a Pokémon" Tommy confirmed causing the kind Xatu to chuckle a little bit.
"So do you know anything about this" Sammy asked.
Xatu chuckled again before replying "Of course I do but first I need you to show me your Team's Exploration Badge"
"Ok" Megan happily replied.
She handed him the badge and he observed it in silence for about a minute before shaking his head in disapproval causing Megan to raise an eyebrow in confusion.
"Is something wrong?" Megan wondered.
"I am afraid you aren't experienced enough for me to tell you anything" Xatu told them with a sad expression on his face.
Sammy frowned "What do you mean?"
"Well you see in order for me to tell you any info you must be at the silver rank however you are only on the bronze rank, I am sorry" The Psychic Pokémon replied as he passed the badge back to Megan who put it back into the backpack Tommy was wearing.
Tommy sighed "What a bummer"
Xatu chuckled softly before replying "Don't worry just do more requests and that way you will gain more experience and you should eventually rank up to the Silver Rank and as soon as you do just come straight back here and I will tell you everything you need to know"
"Well that's reassuring thanks Xatu!" Exclaimed Sammy with a grateful smile.
"Well good bye" Tommy said as the three started walking out of the room waving goodbye at the two Xatu who waved back smiling at them.
"Good Luck Dearies!" Mrs. Xatu said with a smile.
"Yes, Best of Luck Children" Xatu beamed.

The three Pokémon were stood outside looking at the requests on the bulletin board, there didn't seem to be many today but one particular one caught Tommy's attention.
"Huh what does this one say?" Tommy wondered as he ripped off the paper and began to read and gasped at who it was from.
IT WAS FROM HAYLEY THE PIKACHU!
Megan noticed Tommy's shocked and pale face and she knew this couldn't be good which made her very worried for him.
"What's wrong Tommy, what did you find" Megan asked.
Sammy raised an eyebrow in confusion "Yeah you look very pale, is everything all right"
Tommy threw the request into Sammy's arms completely surprising her.
"Huh okay, let's see" Sammy muttered as Megan inched closer to see what it said.
Dear Explorers!
I went to find some berries in the Berry Forest for someone I know and admire but I seemed to have got lost and I-I can't find my way out, please someone help me, I'm begging you, I don't have anything to give you but please I don't want to die, I just want to be where it's safe again PLEASE HELP ME!

Hayley the Pikachu!
Sammy gasped in shock at this letter, she couldn't believe that someone they had met not long ago had gotton lost and no one was helping her.
"This is awful, we have to do something!" A Determined Sammy exclaimed.
"Your right and let me guess who the Pokémon she admires is… Tommy maybe" Megan snickered as she rolled her eyes at Tommy making his face go completely red.
"M-Megan SHUT UP" Tommy shouted in embarrassment causing both girls to snicker behind his back.
"Anyway with all joking aside we should go to Berry Forest right away, we have to save her" Sammy told them.
The two nodded and with that the three Pokémon jumped into the air and high fived each other with smiles on their faces.
…
They had arrived outside of a dark forest with loads of trees and bushes with tons of berries on them which looked absolutely delicious but the Forest seemed very scary.
"Wow, so creepy b-but we have to do this" Sammy cried with courage and a look of determination in her eyes.
Tommy giggled a little bit "Well you're all fired up"
"Yeah I don't think I've ever seen you thin determined" Megan replied with a frown.
"We don't have any time to waste, c'mon" Sammy said before walking straight into the dark forest causing Tommy and Megan to sweatdrop.
The shrugged and looked at each other laughing a little bit before following the chespin into the forest in order to look for Hayley.
Meanwhile somewhere close by…
"Someone please... Is anyone there help me…, I'm really s-scared" Hayley shouted out as her eyes started to water and her legs wobbled making her fall face first into the ground.
She cried into the soft grass, she had never been so scared before, all she wanted was a present for her biggest crush Tommy. But it all seemed to have backfired and she had become lost.
"Please T-Tommy save me my love" The scared Pikachu sobbed.
She slowly got up off the ground and wiped the tears out of her eyes with one of her paws and she looked at the berries she was holding in her other paw.
"If I ever get out I hope Tommy will like what I got him" Hayley cried.
Little did she know she was being watched by 3 mysterious characters who were hiding in the bushes.
"Hey boss, if we nab this little twerpette Tommy will be sure to come after us and so will Megan and that twerpy twerpette Chespin" Bubbles said with an evil grin at his boss.
"What a good plan Bubbles" Frogadier snickered "What do you think boss"
Greninja pondered over it for a second before nodding in satisfaction "Not a bad Idea but this better work"
"Okay, let's jump out and surprise her in 3. 2. 1 NOW" Bubbles snarled and with that the three criminals jumped out of the bushes causing Hayley to jump up and turn around in surprise at their actions.
"Uh, who are you" Hayley asked in fright.
"We would recite our motto but we just want to keep this short and sweet so we'll tell you, I'm Bubbles, this is frogadier and greninja and together we make TEAM HYDRO" Bubbles smirked.
"If you haven't guessed it yet, WE Are the bad guys" Frogadier grinned evilly causing Hayley to tense up in fright.
"Yeah b-but what do you want with me" Hayley stuttered.
Greninja smiled at her fright "We just want you to come with us, that's all so be a good little girl and come along"
"W-Wait I remember you now, you're the one who kidnapped me a while back" Hayley started to cry again as she shouted "HELP MEEEEEEEE!"
"Come on we aren't going to hurt you just come wi…" Bubbles began but before he could finish a familiar voice interrupted him.
"STOP RIGHT THERE TEAM HYDRO!"
Team Hydro whirled around and gasped upon seeing who it was "THE TWERPS!"
"Prepare for Trouble because "The Twerps" are here" Said Tommy.
"And make it triple because we're to fear" Said Megan.
"To Protect the Universe from Crooks like you" said Tommy.
"To Unite all Pokémon that you can't sue" Said Megan.
"To Denounce the good of Love and Friendship" Said Tommy.
"To Extend our reach high up above" Said Megan.
"Tommy" Said Tommy.
"Megan" Said Megan.
"Team Ace wins again at the speed of light" Said Tommy.
"Team Hydro, you will surely lose the fight!" Said Megan.
"SAMMY, that's right!" Sammy exclaimed.
"Grrrr HOW DARE YOU IMITATE US" Bubbles snarled.
"We couldn't care less about you, just release Hayley at ONCE!" Tommy shouted.
Hayley's heart started pounding wildly making her blush all over and her eyes sparkled in admiration as she stared at her brave knight in shining armour (Also known as Tommy).
"My hero" she whispered to herself.
"Well since you three are here then there is no need for Hayley, we'll just nab Megan right now" Plotted Greninja with a smile of pure evil.
"No YOU WILL NOT!" Tommy shouted causing the three to tense up.
Megan smirked at their reactions "Indeed and you know what? I could call The Psychic Wonders here right now I'm sure they'd be more than happy to throw you in Jail"
All of them started to tremble in fear at the very thought, Team Ace were right The Psychic Wonders certainly wouldn't show any mercy.
"Alright them but p-please let us go free" Frogadier said with a shiver.
"I don't think so, I think it's time we show you guys a thing or two" Tommy said with a smirk of satisfaction.
"PLEASE WE BEG OF YOU" Bubbles cried.
"Nope LOSERS!" Megan exclaimed.
Sammy turned to look at her two best friends with a smile "Let's fire our attacks at once okay?"
"Right" Tommy and Megan both agreed with a nod.
And with that the three turned to face Team Hydro again causing them to grab onto each other and crying in fight.
"Au Revoir cowards" Tommy mocked as he stuck out his tounge at the scared Pokémon.
"THUNDERBOLT"
"EMBER"
"ENERGY BALL"
All 3 shouted as they shot their respective attacks at the evildoers causing a big explosion sending them flying into the sky.
"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" The three screamed as they flew off into the sky and disappeared into the distance.
…
"Are you okay?" Tommy asked a scared Hayley who wiped her eyes free of tears.
He offered her his paw which she grabbed onto and he pulled her up bringing her into a big hug which made her blush and she started to cry into his shoulder.
"Shh shh it's okay, you're going to be fine, there there, don't be scared, I'm here now" Tommy whispered into her ear calming her down.
"T-Thank you for saving me, I was so terrified and I t-thought I wouldn't get out of here but you managed to save me, y-you're my hero" Hayley sniffled as she pulled away from Tommy who smiled at her.
"Glad to help but next time don't play in a forest like this" Tommy said with a frown.
Hayley blushed before replying "Uh yeah um you see, well you probably already know this because it was in my letter but the reason I came here was to find some oran beriies f-for y-you Tommy, I really like you, ya know, PLEASE ACCEPT THEM" Hayley shut her eyes as she presented the berries to the Male Pikachu expecting him to shout at her.
But she was surprised when she felt him take the berries off her causing her to open her eyes and was even more surprised when he popped them into his mouth.
"So…" Hayley wondered.
"Yeah how are they" Megan added with a frown.
"Wow, they are delicious thank you Hayley that is really sweet of you" Tommy said as he beamed at her and patted her on the head making her blush deepen.
"Well, I think we should be getting you home to your parents" Sammy piped in with a little giggle causing the three Pokémon to burst out laughing.
"I guess you're right" Tommy agreed.
And with that they started heading back to destiny town smiling and chatting all the way there.
…
"Thank you so much for saving my daughter" Hayley's Mother, A Raichu sqeauled as she hugged her daughter tightly making Hayley embarrassed.
"M-Mum, not in front of all my friends" Hayley said with a small giggle.
Raichu let go of her and scratched the back of her neck sheepishly "I forgot, you're a big girl now, but thank you so much, we were very worried"
"You're welcome, well we gotta get going it's starting to get late and I'm pretty hungry haha" Tommy said with a little laugh.
"Thank you Tommy, and when I grow up I wanna be a part of Team Ace" Hayley giggled.
"Haha of course you can, we'd love that" Megan said with a sweet smile at the female Pikachu.
"Well goodbye and thank you once again" Raichu exclaimed as her and Hayley waved goodbye to the team who waved back with smiles on their faces.
And so after another adventure the three Pokemon head home, what other exciting adventures await them in the near future, will Megan, Sammy or Hayley get their feelings known to Tommy and what is Tommy's purpose in the Pokémon World, well stay tuned to find out…

Next Chapter – Love Potion Mishap!
When Hayley finds the love potion that Megan threw out she devises a plan to make Tommy love her by spiking his juice with it however she accidently puts the love potion in Sammy's drink instead making Sammy fall in love with her…
Well… that sure was a very interesting and I bet you guys didn't expect that…
It was longer than I thought it was going to be but yeah… It all turned out good in the end, so in the next chapter Hayley accidently spikes Sammy's Oran berry juice with love potion with hilarious consequences…
