Chapter 2:
So this chapter will have a few more things explained in it but not everything will be explained yet also to answer some questions that I probably should have elaborated on more which I will do here for those that didn't get it earlier. So Harry is technically a Space Marine so he is not only stronger and faster than a normal human but he also is almost on the same level as a Primarch, also many things will start to make sense more in this chapter since it will be an information episode but continuing from the last one.
As the Legion dispersed Harry turned to his Primarchs and waited for them to finish speaking while the sisters had left to see to their own duties, soon enough Horus moved towards Harry and motioned to him to follow as he walked towards the door Harry followed with Emma on his heels.
After a short time of walking Horus spoke. "My young lord I am going to guess that you have some questions about the history of the Legion and why we haven't been involved in the goings on of the world either muggle or magical." Harry nods and motions for him to continue. "Well we are not from your time, we are from many millennium in your future but thanks to the chaotic way we travel we ended up traveling back in time to the time of your ancestors when the Potters where originally Peverell and your ancestor that lived through to old age was the one who had us become the Potter Legion."
They had continued walking heading to the vehicle bay. "He had done so with the power of death, the final force that will always be, he used it to bond us to your blood line but as he did so he made sure that we couldn't be used for just anything so he laid down three guidelines. Each one could be used to activate us and we would deploy."
"Guideline one: When the world is truly threatened with total annihilation exterminatus."
"Guideline two: if the family line falls to only one then defend."
"Guideline three: if any threats from our time arrive exterminatus."
"These are the guidelines we must follow and now two of them have been fulfilled when your parents died and when a warp signature was detected three years our time, we will discuss more on that later after this."
Harry is surprised they hid this information from him but is willing to wait for Horus to finish before voicing his questions and trying to make his feelings known on it.
"We also have had your ancestor through the time since then give our ships and gear `upgrades` using their magic to expand the inner dimensions of vehicles and weapons meaning more troops and less ships plus less magazines and more bullets. But the biggest thing they have done is giving us the means to hide the multiple bases we have throughout the galaxy and star system and not be detected or found no matter what. So in return for all these gifts we have received we have tried to repay the best we can but we haven't been able to do so until you my lord."
"We have gifted you with much, weapons, armor, training, but we haven't changed you completely, the gene seed of our father or our own was never implanted into you during the procedures so this is all just you my lord. But even then when we have been serving your family we held them all at a distance just like we do with our own psykers because of the taint of the warp."
"We feared it corrupting you even if there is no corruption here in this part of the galaxy yet we still wished to be careful but you have slowly proven we have nothing to fear for the forces of chaos do not exist here yet and not for a while more and thus you have had a better experience."
Harry had noticed during the beginning how strained his relationship with them had been until they had spent so long together. "But enough about ancient history it's time for the news about the problem I mentioned, what came out of the warp appears to be an old Ork ship that had been infested by Tyranids."
Harry shudder at the word for while he may have never come into contact with the creatures he had many instructors tell him of the horrors they faced against such creatures and the unending hoards they seem to produce.
"We believe that some of them may have survived but the Orks have been easy to find and eliminate, it is the Tryanids we fear that are the true problem, no matter how much we try we find many surviving clusters trying to grow. We have already begun the process of preparing the purifiers to purge the forest the ship had crashed in."
Harry nodded to show he understood and agreed with his decision, he waited a moment before asking the questions on his mind.
"Do you still wish me to play this farce and not join you and the others in finding and exterminating the Tryanids, how will we be making everyone believe I'm eleven again and finally who all is coming with me besides Emma?"
Horus smiles at his lords attitude about the truth of the Legions origins plus the fact that the legion stopped having anger at the Potters after a prophecy said that some time when the planet was saved and given it's golden light they would all return home so it was just a matter of time before they all got home again.
"To answer your questions in order no you will continue to go with the plan that your parents had for you but just a little more prepared than the others, once you leave the compound you will revert to your eleven year old body but you will be able to access you true form when in life threating situations."
"Finally two Sisters of battle and a Rune Priest have managed to have themselves hired as teachers at the school though one of the sisters of battle has managed to make them agree to make her head of Gryffindor house."
Harry was surprised that they would waste the time of these people with merely keeping an eye on him when some militarium soldiers would have sufficed as they had an overabundance of them at the moment. Horus seemed to sense his question and waited till they had gotten into the vehicle bay and gotten into the Thunderhawk Transporter before he turned to harry to address the unasked question.
"We all feel that while the militarium soldiers would still be effective against these psykers we would rather have insurance to that plus the fact they can't approach any of these `magical` sites while we can hinders them as well."
Harry understood and then fell silent for the rest of the trip up to the Nemesis class fleet carrier that they were going to get back to Tera's solar system, once they landed and disembarked Horus led them to the crew quarters and was about to leave when he thought of something.
"If you don't mind my lord I would like to hear how you managed to get you war mount will also killing the other wolf and then proceeding back to the Fang back during your final trial with the Space Wolves."
Harry motions Horus to enter and take a seat while Emma moves to the bed and lays next to it waiting for Harry to join her. "I met her the second day on my journey back to the Fang and it wasn't the best time for her…"
Harry had just gotten passed the first mountain range with cloak and knife still on hand and was on his way to the other side of the valley when he heard deep growls and the angry howls of Fenrisian wolves, he quickly looked for a place to get some cover and upon seeing a large boulder he quickly took cover. Once he did so he looked around to find the source of the noise but instead of finding the possible pack by the sounds of it he saw nothing but snow, trees and ice, he decided to get on top of the boulder to get a better understanding of where they could be.
Once he reached the top he began to scan his surroundings while laying low on the top of it and what he found surprised and enraged him.
Fifteen yards away from him he saw a large Fenrisian wolf chasing down and murdering what looked to be pups, standing at roughly twelve feet, ten feet taller than the smaller wolves at the least, not that far behind him and looking slightly beaten was another wolf but this one stood at seven feet tall.
It was bleeding slightly and appeared to have a broken leg but it seemed to ignore it and just focus on the other wolf killing the pups, who had just killed two of them and was moving onto the last one. Harry didn't even realize he had started moving before he had already run the dividing distance and jumped onto the large wolfs back and started aiming for the wolfs eyes.
As he had gotten on top of the wolf it had reached the last pup and threw it towards the boulder hard enough to make it crack it and then try to dislodge the human on its back so it could finish off the weak ones.
The other wolf arrived and slammed in to the side of the wolf Harry was on while trying to gut it thus leading it to be toppled over and taking Harry with it.
As luck would have it Harry had managed to get his knife into the wolfs eye and thanks to that shove it helped harry to pull it out and switch it over to try and take out the other eye so that it would be easier to take down and not see the other wolf as it attacks.
As he swung down to hit the eye the wolf sees it coming and jerks its head up so he misses but it allows him to instead aim for his neck and with an effort it pieces the fur and gets into the wolfs throat. Harry quickly begins to saw it so he can tear into it more while the other wolf seeing an opportunity aimed for the hind legs and bite down snapping the bone and tendons, the wolf lets out a wheezing yelp and falls to the ground and begins to bleed out.
As it fell it landed on Harry slightly crushing him and dislocating his arm, he pulls himself out from under it and sees that it has died and is no longer a threat but just as he is about to turn and see if he has to deal with the other wolf he hears a whine.
He turned towards the boulder he had used earlier and saw the pup and the other wolf which by the way it was acting he could tell it was its mother, he managed to get onto his legs and slowly headed towards the wolves but kept his knife out and slightly in front of him in case she attacked.
But instead of attacking she was trying to help her pup and it wasn't working.
Harry thought it was impossible for animals to cry but that day he found out it wasn't so, he turned away and moved towards the dead wolf and started to skin and gut it so that he could make a cloak and have some food.
Trying his best to ignore the pained whines and howls of the pup and mother he lost himself in his work and finished as the sun began to set and snow started to fall upon the sad and gruesome seen of the mother wolf mourning over her dead children. Harry began to move away from the wolf and tried to find a safe spot to spend the night hopefully far enough away from the mother wolf in case she decided to attack.
"…And she followed me after that and over the next week and a half it took me to get back we bonded enough she stayed with me and the rest is history."
Horus found the story of his lords war mount not only unique and startling, but sad and an eye opening moment that not just made many of the quirks of Emma crystal clear but also explained the way his lord acted sometimes as well.
"Thank you for sharing my lord I will leave you now to ponder on this and to let you sleep through the journey back may you rest peacefully my lord."
Harry thanks him and watches as he leaves before turning to Emma and curling into her even more than he had during the retelling of their story and fell asleep hoping that he had helped her through everything she had gone through and continuing to do so.
There we go another one done and I think this should be a bit of an eye opener and should help you all understand the plot I am starting to build for this story and what it may turn into over the course of this adventure. Also I hope this helps the viewers who had a bit of s trouble reading the story the way I had before because it was to blocky so here's hoping this worked.
