Chapter 6

As soon as the transport touches down and the doors open Harry is already out and moving quickly towards the barracks and deep with in the ship a howl can be heard getting closer every second.

Horus merely watches from the side with his brother Leman waiting to see if Harry will make it out of the hanger first or if he will be brought down at the door.

Harry managed to at least make it out the doorway leading to the hanger before he was brought to the ground by Emma.

"It's good to see you too girl now let me up we have training to do."

Emma huffs but gets up, but before Harry can stand he is grabbed by the scruff of his armor and dragged back to his room with the other marines especially the space wolves laughing at him.

"You would swear that the wolf was his mother instead of his war mount even after all these centuries I've never seen a dynamic like that."

Horus shakes his head at his brothers words and merely continues to watch the young lord be dragged off. Both Primarchs keep the team that was with Harry waiting a little longer before turning to listen to their report of the trip to Diagon ally.

The news of the wand disturbs Leman the most but knows that his young lord will not let the temptation of warp sorcerer corrupt him.

Horus is intrigued by this and is already starting plans to acquire a wand maker for the psychers to see if this will enhance their powers and lower the risk of corruption.

Horus shakes his head and then looks back to the squad to address them. "Good work, return to your stations and await further orders."

The squad salutes and then walks off in different directions, at that moment Emma had finished dragging Harry back to his room and was laying over him keeping him pinned to the ground.

"Emma we have training get off we can do this later." Emma simply huffs and seems to flatten even more.

Harry sighs then proceeds to push himself off the ground slowly Emma pushing down against him trying to keep him in place. "Try all you want Emma but you now we can't miss training but once it's done we can spend all day doing this."

Emma grumbles and afternoon a moment more of trying to hold Harry down before jumping away letting Harry over shoot trying to get to his feet and falling on his back instead.

A chuffing sound almost like a laugh floats through the room from where Emma had landed, Harry just looks at her with a dirty look while getting up off the floor.

"Well if that's how you feel."

He jumps forward towards Emma and tries to pin her but she quickly jumps out of the way and gets behind Harry. He quickly turns and again moves forward to try and catch her and manages to get a hold on her body and pulls her toward him.

They then devolve into a mess of limbs and fur just tumbling on the ground, after a few minutes Harry can be seen on Emma's back.

"Well now that, that's out of the way how about we get to the training deck!"

Emma huffs and starts to move towards the door not letting Harry off her back as she does so both happier then they had been earlier.

On the bridge

Horus stood on the bridge watching the crew work as they traveled through the warp thinking on the matter of his lord and his ever faithful hound.

Just as he was about to come to a decision Leman and Magnus entered the bridge arguing about which was better psychic power or physical.

"And I'm telling you brother that all that might doesn't matter if you can't even reach your opponent in the first place." Leman shakes his head at his brothers foolishness and his cowardice for not being willing to meet his enemy face to face.

"I see the two of you are still having your usual debate."

Both brothers turn to look at Horus and then back at each other, then turned away from each other and headed to opposite sides of the bridge.

Horus shakes his head at his 'younger' brothers antics but as their father has said they are all different and useful in that difference. While they may not get along most of the time but they all strives for the goal their father made them for.

Shortly after Leman and Magnus had taken their corners Rogal arrived with Sanguinius and Lion speaking about something happening on Mars.

Behind them Fulgrim, Konrad, Perturabo, Mortarion, and Lorgar walked forward seemingly deep in a debate about something that Horus couldn't discern.

Jaghatai, Angron, Corvus, Alpharius, Ferrus, Vulkan, and Roboute all arrive one after the other shortly after the groups had shown up. They all turned to stare at Horus once the last of them arrived and he knew that what was to be discussed would greatly change Terra.

"Brothers while two of us are away we must continue to do our duty for the betterment of humanity. What has happened to the Tyranid force on Terra?"

Vulcan and Leman steeped forward upon that question with Leman beginning the talk.

"We managed to find all the foul Xeno's scum and removed them from Terra's soil but not without some casualties."

With that Vulkan moves forward and in a somber tone begins his part of the talk.

"We lost two wolves and three of my children but that is nothing in comparison to the lives of the citizens that we lost. Currently we have counted three hundred dead and forty injured but we are still waiting for the final numbers."

Horus moves forward and placed his hand on Vulkan's shoulder.

"While the loss of life is tragic brother think of the lives you have saved, we can properly morn them once we have finished counting and found all the bodies."

Vulkan nods his head in acceptance and gratitude before moving back and letting Leman continue.

"We did find some tracks that belonged to a humanoid that had come across our battle with the xeno. We followed them and they lead back to that school our lord is going too, we felt that we would be to obvious if we tried to get answers so we sent in Alpharius."

At his name said Primarch stepped forward to continue where Leman left off.

"I arrived and quickly began to wander the perimeter of the school to see how it reacts to someone trying to enter. I managed to find out that there is almost no security in that school other than the staff."

This causes the other Primarchs to begin mumbling and frowning at this lack in security for their lord but knew that they had taken steps to make it more secure.

"Upon my entry I began to move amongst the schools populace and found the one who matched the tracks I had been shown. It's the grounds keeper of the school who is a half giant, he seemed to be untainted."

At the words half giant some of the Primarchs furrowed their brows in confusion.

"Of course I don't go off assumptions so I followed him for a time and found that he has an egg that is similar to the tyranid but I was able to retrieve it for the Medicaid's to dissect."

At this news Horus turns to a screen that Alpharius had pointed at with all the information the Medicaid's had gathered.

"Unfortunately the xeno had already hatched and the shell was left as a decoy all I have been able to find out is that it lives in the forest somewhere only Hagrid knows."

"The denizens of the forest hindered me seemingly loyal to Hagrid and the headmaster of the school."

This lead to some rumbling which Horus silenced with a hand before turning to speak to Alpharius.

"So from what we have gathered we exterminated all the tyranids except one egg which has hatched and is under the care of the grounds keeper of the school our lord is going too."

Alpharius nods his head and the bridge explodes in shouting and the sounds of Primarchs preparing to storm the school.

"Enough."

The bridge falls silent at that single word from Horus.

"There is no reason yet to start a crusade on the school instead let us send in some of the culexus and callidus to solve this problem with three legions on stand by at all times until we are certain it has been found and exterminated."

There was some rumbling but none could argue with the logic of the war master.

"With that we are all aware of the situation and are prepared for the situation at hand begin to prepare your legions and await the call."

With these words the Primarchs began to leave talking to others or just heading straight for their legions to prepare for a fight. Once Horus is left with nothing but the crew he turns to look out the window and stare out into the void of space.

"The Imperium of Mankind will flourish and will have their rightful spot in the universe."
