Chapter 14

As Harry woke up the next morning he quickly headed downstairs, ate his breakfast and jogged out the door to head to the park again and see just what his team is truly capable of.

After finding the nice quiet corner of the park away from where all the morning joggers run, Harry let everyone out and had them stand around while he put them through the new scanning to see what they actually could do.

First up was Ivan, apparently he had a adamant nature which raised his physical attack and lowered his special attack and he liked spicy food, his moves now went from Shadow punch, Dynamic punch, Focus punch, and Iron defense, too include Earthquake, High Horsepower, Astonish, and Heavy slam.

Next up was John, his nature was actually mild which surprised Harry for a second, this raised Johns special attack and lowered his physical defense and he liked dry food. His moves went from being Shadow ball, Sing, Perish song, and disarming voice too also include Round, Wake up slap, and hyper voice.

Next was Salazar who was still attached to Hedwig, his nature was naive which raised his speed and lowered his special defense and he liked sweet foods. His move pool went from having just Dragon tail, Disable, Astonish, and curse too include Infestation, Quick attack, and bite.

Finally was Morana her nature was confusing to Harry, it was a sassy nature which raised her special defense and lowered her speed and she liked bitter foods. Her moves also confused Harry once he saw how many more she had besides Rain dance, Dragon dance, Freeze dry, and life dew her moves came out with these Ice shard, Ice beam, Brine, Sheer cold, and Water pulse.

Apparently Morana just wanted to be a assist Pokemon when she had plenty of moves geared towards attack.

But know that Harry knew what all his Pokémon could do and what they need help with, along with finding out what special and physical ment in terms of Pokémon moves and abilities, he could better prepare his team for any future challenges he had ahead of him.

So with this new information Harry immediately begun to train with his Pokémon, he made Ivan and John work together to help balance out their short comings just as he paired Salazar and Morana together leaving just Ria and Hedwig with him. He had each group work with the moves he hadn't been training them on and even made them work on the areas they where weak in to help combat the short comes of not just their natures but of their types.

Harry had Salazar blitz Morana and attack her with Quick attack and bite, while Morana used Freeze dry,Ice beam, and ice shard and try to keep up with Salazar.

Ivan was a trickier one to do since he seemed to know no special moves, but Harry worked around it and had him use Astonish and Shadow punch to try and get familiar with the ghostly energy that coursed through him.

Which in turn helped John get used to taking physical hits and helped to boost his defense while also hitting Ivan with Shadow ball, Round, Hyper voice, and Disarming voice helping to keep Ivan nice and strong.

Harry would have to look into getting a tm for Ivan to get him a special move that work well with his ability and nature, maybe he should ask Hermione. This distraction cost him as Ria used Force palm to send Harry flying, Hedwig caught him in her talons and used Nightshade followed by and Echoed voice to make Ria back off before she started firing Aura Spheres.

Hedwig set Harry back on the ground and then immediately returned to the skies before using Psycho shift to try and even the playing field.

But Ria wasn't about to let her off that easy, so she quickly calms her mind and then leaps upwards and tries to use a Metal claw, but it's seems she forgot about Harry, with his connection to Ivan, Harry pours power into his fist and hits Ria right in the gut with a Power up punch.

This sends Ria flying into a tree where she stays as she tries to catch her breath, Harry quickly heads over to check on her and finds that besides some minor bruising she's fine, but he wasn't about to leave his partner like this.

He motioned over to Salazar and Morana to stop their spar and had Morana us Life dew on Ria which lead to bruising and tiredness just washing off the Lucario as if it had never happened. Soon enough, Ivan and John finish off their spar and join the others around the tree Ria had been sent into, Harry pulls up the team rooster and looks through everyone's states.

Harry was impressed the Rotomdex could get this much information and wondered not for the first time how accurate it was, but he wasn't going to look a gift ponyta in the mouth.

The states for each of his Pokémon had gone up atleast a point in the desired area but oddly enough so did the states they where good in.

"Alright everyone let's take a break and then we're going to head out and see if we can't get some tms to help us."

The sounds of agreement he received was something he expected but one of his partners was a little less then enthused with this idea. Harry looks at Morana and wonders what's wrong, but before he can address it his Rotomdex starts ringing, but he files Morana's reaction for later review.

After answering the call Harry immediately regretted it, it was his uncle who looked furious and about ready to explode if his red his face was any indication.

"Boy, why did you steal Dudley's Pokémon, weren't the ones you got not enough for you. You had to steal someone else's to feel speacial, you may think that just because you are going to that school that your better then is but you are not, we have graciously allowed you to live in our home, eat our food, and be given clothes. So when you get home you are going to hand over Dudley's Pokémon, then your going to give me all your Pokémon and you won't get them until it's time for you to get on the train, am I understood boy!"

Ria, Ivan, John, Hedwig, and Morana all glowered at Vernon with the clear intent to hurt him for daring to threaten their trainer, Salazar was confused but knew the others didn't like this man so he also tried to glower at the man.

Harry simply sighed and rather then answer his uncle he sent a video of the battle he had with his cousin and the rules they had made before they started.

After his uncle had finished watching the video, his face looked like it had gone from red to purple with how angry he was, without saying anything Vernon turned around and stormed into the kitchen from the living room. With the Rotomphone following behind his uncle Harry could see what was going on besides hearing it.

At the kitchen table sat Dudley with a large plate of bacon and eggs, along with half a plate of cinnamon rolls that Petunia was in the process of refilling, before Vernon came over and took the entire plate away.

Petunia turned on her husband ready to snap at him before she saw his face and took a step back in shock.

Dudley had also turned and was ready to whine at his father and tell his lies, but once he saw his fathers face he stopped, all his words frozen in his throat as his father in a cool and sharp voice asks him this question.

"Dudley, why did you lie to me about how you lost you Pokémon."

The way Vernon phrased it, was t a question but more as a statement of fact that he wanted clarified, Dudley didn't see a reason to tell the truth and so stuck to his lie.

"I told you dad, that freak and his Pokémon ambushed me and stole my precious Jangmo-o after putting me to sle-"

Vernon roars his over Dudley.

"Do not lie to me son, I just had video evidence of you agreeing to a battle with your only Pokémon on the line and you lost, fair and square, so why did you lie to me?!"

The sheer volume and power behind those words rocked Dudley, the Rotomdex in Harry's hands shook from the force of the man's anger.

Petunia wore a look of shock which then quickly turned to a look of shame and anger, which she turned on her son, Dudley wasn't used to both his parents turning on him.

He had gotten away with so many things he was sure they would be on his side, but after he was proven to be lying he was scared about what was going to happen next.

It wasn't Vernon who spoke next but Petunia, and the words that left her mouth shocked not just Dudley but Harry as well, for no matter what, Petunia had always been on Dudley's side and now he was all alone.

"Dudley, you are ground for three months, no sweets, no tv, no hanging out with your friends, you are going to be taken to and from school by your father and whenever you want to go out you will be going with either your father or me so you don't do anything else foolish."

The look of pure shock made Harry's day as he turned off the connection and started making his way out of the park, this day was looking better and better.
