Chapter 15
As Harry exited the park he returned all but Hedwig, Salazar, and Ria, he couldn't help but think over the way Morana had been acting.
He knew she didn't want to be an attacker but her overall stats and moves pointed her to one.
He guessed it was something that happened before he got her and wouldn't push it, but he needed to get to the bottom of this so his relationship with his partner didn't suffer in the future due to ignorance.
So as Harry entered the market area and headed towards where he remembered the entrance to diagon alley was, he started to go over a list of things he needed.
His first stop was going to be a tm shop to get some new moves for his team to better utilize not only their abilities but their stats as well.
His next stop would be the item shop so he could get items and berries necessary to keep his team at their best for battling.
Finally he was going to stop at the poke mart to get some poke balls and potions for when he goes into the wild areas around Hogwarts to get some battling experience.
So with a quick step and his Pokémon keeping people away from him, Harry makes his way to the leaky cauldron.
As Harry enters and begins making his way to the back, he receives many nods and waves from the patrons as he goes, which he returns but doesn't stop to chat. Soon enough he's in diagon alley and making his way to Gringotts bank, key tucked safely into the small pocket of his pants.
As soon as he enters he returns his Pokémon to their balls, with much grumbling and consternation from Ria, and a humph from Hedwig. Salazar gives the biggest rockruff eyes but Harry remains firm and puts the Dreepy back into its ball, but keeps it firmly in hand as he walks over to the nearest open teller.
After a few minutes and a quick trip on the carts, Harry is back in the alley proper and releases Ria, Hedwig, and Salazar who all immediately begin to exam him for any damage.
After finding nothing wrong they quickly exit the alley and the leaky cauldron back into the market proper.
Harry looks around the market searching for the store he wanted and after asking for some directions finds the shop he is looking for.
It was a simple red and tan brick building with a sign showing a tm disc and the words technical learner shop under it. Harry enters and begins browsing the store seeing what tms they had for sale, surprised at the amount they had on display.
A worker saw him and quickly came over.
"Do you need any help finding something in particular young trainer?"
Harry turned and saw a youngish woman, around her early twenty's if not her late teens, she had bushy caramel hair and bright green eyes and bronze colored skin.
The apron she wore covered most of her outfit but the leather jacket and spiked bracelets told Harry that she probably had ripped up jeans and a band shirt on, her name plate red Janet.
"Yes, I'm looking for some tms that my Pokémon can learn that work with their abilities."
Janet nodded her head and motioned Harry towards the counter where a machine that looked like a healing machine at a poke center sat.
"If you could just put your Pokémon here, we'll just scan them real quick and pull up our inventory list to see what fits."
Harry once again recalls the three with him and places the balls into the machine, after a couple seconds and a blue glow finishes scanning the pokeballs, Harry takes them back and lets them out again.
"Well" Janet began. "The only moves we have for your lucario is shadow claw, drain punch, and revenge."
Ria perked up at the last one but held back to see what other things the team had to better help keep Harry safe.
"Your wigglytuff has grass knot, gyro ball, flamethrower, and dream eater."
Harry already saw two really useful moves already from that list.
"The Golurk has fire punch, ice punch, thunder punch, mega punch, and mega kick."
Harry knew he had to get those punch's just for the extra power it would give Ivan.
"Next is you lapras , we have hail, dive, and weather ball for her."
Harry wondered if this shop only had such limited moves because he hadn't faced any gyms yet.
"Then there's you Dreepy which can only learn thunder wave, sorry, little guy can't learn much."
The look Janet sent Harry showed she really ment it.
"Finally is you HootHoot, the moves we have available are thief, steel wing, and imprison."
Harry mulled over the moves, he didn't want to spend all the money he pulled on moves alone but the moves available where very tempting.
Harry soon left the store with a case full of moves, he managed to get a deal when he bought them in bulk and got the case. The moves he got where shadow claw, drain punch, grass knot, flamethrower, dream eater, fire punch, ice punch, thunder punch, mega punch, hail, dive, weather ball, thunder wave, thief, and steel wing.
He had spent a lot of money but in the end, this set his team up for a lot of wiggle room when it came to battles and how they could handle them.
Harry went in search of the next store he needed, an item shop, he found it near the end of the market place. It looked more like a curio shop then a place that sold battle items.
Harry only spent two minutes in the store and walked out with the items he needed.
He got an assault vest for Ivan, a expert belt for Ria, John got a pair of heavy duty boots, while Morana got an icy rock that she was loving. Next was Salazar and his muscle band he showed off to Hedwig who was looking at her new razor claw tipped talons with a smugness Harry found amusing.
Finally Harry headed over to the poke center and after entering be lined it for the poke mart section, he got himself twenty standard pokeballs and the extra two premier balls that usually came when somebody buys ten pokeballs at once. Then he got some potions and a revive, with his purchase made and his money pouch almost empty, Harry headed to the park near the Dursley residence and brought out the others.
After discussing it with everyone Harry decided to do Ivan first since he had the most tms to get through this had the most training to get done with new moves.
Harry started with giving Ivan the ice punch tm first, the way Janet told him it worked was that he had to place the disc on Ivan's forehead and the disc would use some energy that was stored in the disc to transfer the knowledge of how the moves worked to Ivan's brain directly.
Harry didn't really get the logistics of it but he would trust the expert, so he had Ivan kneel down and placed the tm for ice punch on his forehead.
With a flash of freezing air, a light began to shine from the disc and seemed to pour into Ivan, after a few seconds the light stopped and the disc broke apart before Harry even tried to grab it, nothing but dust left.
Harry checked over Ivan and even had him sit as he looked him over to make sure he didn't collapse, but soon enough Harry found nothing wrong with Ivan and let him stand back up.
"Alright Ivan, since you seem to be fine, let's give your new move a try and see if it actually worked."
With a nod Ivan turned and headed over to the small pond Morana swam in, after taking a fighting stance Ivan punched.
As his fist moved forward, the air around his fist seemed to steam up and ice seemed to form on his fist and down to his arm, and with a large splash, Ivan punched the water and left behind a block of ice in his fists shape.
Harry whooped at this and ram over to give Ivan a hug, the other except Hedwig and Ria joining in the celebrating.
Then after getting over his excitement, Harry quickly started using tm after tm, letting Ivan show off each one and getting the others excited for their turns.
Ria started running around and used shadow claws around the park with Salazar following around and trying to tag her with a thunder wave, Morana was diving into the pond and breaching the surface and throwing weather balls at Ivan.
Ivan used his iron defense before throwing thunder and fire punches towards Morana making her use dive more often and not giving her the time to set up hail.
John was shooting a flamethrower at Hedwig trying to tag the HootHoot but Hedwig had other ideas and constantly moved while doing fly bys with steel wing and thief trying to steal Johns heavy duty boots but just missing them.
Harry thought that they might finally be ready to go to Hogwarts and show them just what their made of.
