Chapter 23

"Send word to Horus immediately that Chaos has been found on Terra and that it seems to be confined but we cannot rest on our laurels we must destroy it along with all involved must be cleansed."

Belica nodded and without even looking at Dumbledore he quickly exited seemingly blurring as he ran to his quarters, leaving Harry who stared off into space and Dumbledore.

Dumbledore had been around for over a hundred years and in all that time he had never felt power like what Harry had just unleashed, but what shocked him even more was that Harry had just commanded one of his faculty and that Belica had done it without question or hesitation.

"Harry my boy, you don't order adults around, and you certainly don't die so without explain why."

Harry simply ignored Dumbledore, which was a first for him, he was after all not only the headmaster of Hogwarts, but he was also the supreme mugwump of the international confederation of wizards and chief warlock of the wizengamot. He was well respected for not just his part in taking down his former lover Grindlewald and helping to fight Voldemort, but he was also well known for his wisdom and skill in most magical fields.

So to be ignored by a student of all things even one such as Harry led to Dumbledore doing something that he would very soon come to regret.

"Harry if you do not explain yourself this instance I will have to place you in detention and maybe even deduct a large amount of points."

The chuff from Emma caused Dumbledore to give the wolf a disapproving look that caused her to chuff again at the old feeble wolf that should have retired long ago. Harry finally looked at the Dumbledore and the look in his eyes seemed to make them almost glow with the power that seemed to want to escape and wash this castle clean.

Harry realized that he was wrong, this place wouldn't need to be cleansed, maybe the entire isle if not the entire continent if it had spread far enough, then they would have to burn many to save terra from the foul taint of Chaos.

Belica was thundering through the halls heading towards his private quarters, passing many students who didn't even realize that it was a person that had passed them and not some strange magical object. He barreled down the final hall and without even slowing down runs through the door, sending fragments of wood all over the room, but he didn't have time for that, his lord had given him orders, Chaos was on terra, and the legion had to be told.

Horus was on his flagship during mid warp travel to visit his brother Russ on a planet that seemed to have an Eldar colony on it, telling Russ not to simply destroy it had taken more convincing than Horus would have liked but he knew that it was hard to keep from slaying the xenos that had plagued some of their settlements.

A lunar wolf came rushing into the command bridge and he immediately made a beeline for Horus, nearly trampling a cogitator in his haste to reach his Primarche.

"Primarche, I bring news from Terra, our lord had brother Belica send it to us."

Horus was surprised that their lord felt something was so important that Belica had to break his charade to send the missive, but their lord while young was no fool, and thus the message had to be more than important, it had to be life threatening.

"You did good my son, let me see what our lord has for us."

With a salute the marine handed the data slate to Horus who after taking it dismissed the marine and looked to the missive that he had just been handed.

Horus quickly jumped to his feet and quickly started giving orders to the bridge which sent it into a flurry of activity to follow his orders.

"Send a message to all ships in the system, the taint of Chaos has been found on earth and left unchecked, as far as the lord knows the taint is confined, but we cannot believe that the taint of Chaos has been that benign or idle."

The shock that spread through the bridge did not hamper their abilities, and soon enough messages where sent out to as many ships as they could reach, they soon had multiple response from those ships as they exited the warp and waited for their navigator to find the correct path to Terra.

Horus was proud of his people to be so effective but it was over shadowed by the knowledge that the warp taint was on Terra, and that it was near his lord. He would make sure to protect his lord since he is the last of the bloodline of Pervell, he would not let his oaths be broken before he returns to his home.

Harry was busy heading for the forbidden forest when he was meet by Belica who had grabbed Quilia and Dominacca, all three carried large packs that Harry knew contained their war gear and any provisions that would be needed for the foreseeable future. Another pack was being carried by Belica that Harry knew housed his and Emma's war gear, with a nod towards the trio they quickly fell into a simple spear point formation and walked towards the front doors, all the while Dumbledore trailed behind them trying to get answers from any of them.

Students that had been heading to the Greta hall had seen the small group being followed by the Headmaster and thought to also follow and see what is going on, but the group cared not for their entourage, they had a taint to cleanse.

pushing open the doors and turning towards the forest, Harry's group could hear the gaggle of people following along to see what they thought would be a great spectacle, but Harry couldn't even muster up the energy to care for the simple minded sheep.

Soon Harry's group reached the edge of the forest and that is when Dumbledore had enough, wiping out his want a flourishing it towards the forest edge, a shimmering wall appeared in front of the group and stopped them from entering the forest proper. Harry's group turned as one to stare at the man that barred them from doing their mission to keep terra safe, Emma's growl caused many of the students to flinch back in fear.

But they were bolstered by the headmasters presence and so stayed where they where to watch the confrontation.

"Now that I have your attention, would you kindly tell me why you are leaving school grounds and why are three of my faculty members seemingly taking a student with them into a dangerous and off limits area?"

Quilia moved forward and ripped her cloak off, displaying the black power armor she had been wearing underneath and the bolter she had strapped to her leg which she took and aimed at Dumbledore.

"Either remove the foul barrier so we may continue on or be removed from this mortal coil."

The gasp of the students seemed to make Dumbledore realize that if he didn't either acquiesce or some how remove them from here, then they where in possible danger from the women he thought was someone he could trust.

But a voice from behind her surprised everyone present with not only its power, but the authority behind it.

"Enough Quilia, I will take care of the barrier, be prepared to move."

Instead of the young eleven year old boy who had been their previously, a giant stood seemingly sculpted from marble and painted in the colors of man, emerald eyes that glowed with almost unbridled power and raven hair that seemed as if the giant had just rolled out of bed. A wolf similar to Emma stood beside him, barely large enough to let him ride, appearing as a more wild and untamed beast then the wolf everyone had seen before, intelligent eyes that unnerved all that looked into them simply glimmered with might and hunger.

The giant spoke and Dumbledore realized that this giant was Harry, aged up and seemingly enhanced some how.

"We thank you for your hospitality, but we must be on our way."

Harry simply turned to the barrier and raised his hand which crackled with lightning, he placed it on the barrier and pushed, the arcs of lightning flashed over the barrier and seemed to strike at random points, but Dumbledore knew better.

The lightning seemed to know exactly where the weak points of the barrier where and attacked them violently, causing brilliant sparks and cracks to appear, before with a resounding crack, the barrier broke.

Quilia, Dominacca, and Belica rushed forward into the forest quickly disappearing in the dark undergrowth, but Harry turned back and almost as if he was some great show man, gave a grand bow from the waist and turned on his heal and walked into the dark, leaving Hogwarts, the students, and Dumbledore confused on just how this would affect their world.
