Currently, I was walking to the academy in the morning. After having slept for barely over an hour I was pretty damn irritated. My frequent eye aches did not help with that.
Due to having been born with what I assume is light hypersensitivity, I have to wear sunglasses like a fucking chump.
I was barely able to be bothered to come to the academy. Honestly, I would skip it if it didn't put attention on me. All I wanted was to be left alone for now and build up my strength.
I had already gone through high school once and I wasn't looking forward to going through it again. At least now I had superhuman intelligence backing me up so it won't be as horrible.
I was currently wearing a red shirt, black pants and black sandals and each of my steps where that of a man dreading he had to do something but having no choice of the matter.
But as I arrived at the academy gates I saw her .
It felt quite weird to see someone who would have been an anime character alive, living, and breathing.

This so fucking unfair. Just how hard are humans shafted? I'm a gamer, someone who's meant to be better than others yet I don't have anything close to that CP multiplier.
Not only does her HP multiplier outclass mine by more than nine times, she even gets stats for her wisdom as well.
Her stats aren't just higher than mine, they are just straight up BETTER than mine.
I really need to cover that gap.

For Example, Koboyashi has 569 INT, and is a veteran.
Taking into account the bonus her true INT would be 569x2, or 1138
I hate this game so fucking much. If I'm understanding this right that would make Kobayashi 2 times stronger than her stats would imply, and she was already stronger than me. I'm guessing the Raikage, Ay is a Champion as well, and he's the one who might 'deal' with me if things go badly.

[The requirement to rank up to Enhanced Mortal is to have all of your stats over 1000. The requirements are similar to the Veteran Tiers.]

Just as I was thinking that, Kobayashi approached me.
"Shadow Senju right? I'm hard pressed to punish you as miss Hōzuki has reported that you have been tardy for the last couple days however as you are not actually late, I will pardon you for today however do not be late next week alright?"
I nodded "Hai Kobayashi-sensei"
"Good and while I haven't had the opportunity to come to your class for the past two days as I've been very busy, I might come around to your class today understood?"

I started walking into the academy, relieved that she didn't notice anything strange in me.
"And Shadow?" She asked and I turned around, gulping as I did so.
"Yes Kobayashi-sensei?" then my eyes widen as a dark and oppressive aura suddenly surrounded her making it hard for me to breathe.
"Would you mind telling me why you're wearing sunglasses?" She asked with a sweet, sweet smile that was faker than Kim Kardashian's tits.
"Uhmm..., yeah well I have really sensitive eyes which makes me get frequent eye aches without them."
"Oh" The aura around her immediately as something like understanding flashed in her eyes.
"I can remove them if you want but I rather not."

"Arigato Kobayashi-sensei" I turned sweat dripping down my spine, congratulating my self on escaping that encounter .

I nodded, greatly confused and went in trying to look as natural as I could and trying not to shiver from the shudder that went down my spine at the predatory smile of Kobayashi .
I hurried my steps and swiftly made my way to my class, letting out a sigh of relief as I entered. I went up to my seat exchanging greeting with other students and settled down in my place beside Daichi.
Before I'd even settled down properly, Suzume with a burst of agility sprung up from where she was seating, to seat directly opposite from me.
"Yo Shadow" She greeted as if we had been friends for years, which to be fair we have been.
"It's nice to see you, Suzume-san"
"Nice to see you too Shads, how did you sleep"
My eye twiched at the nickname and she noticed it and grinned.
I thought about the question and flashback of fighting zombies came back to me strongly.
"Just peachy"
She must have sensed the lie in my voice somehow because, she cocked her head back and asked.

She continued to give me suspiscious looks so I decided to change the subject.
"Do you remember Kobayashi-sensei?"
She stiffened oh so subtlely but I caught it.
"Yeah I do, why did you ask?" She said trying to play it cool.
"Because I spoke her just now"
As I said that, the silence suddenly became more deafening than the noise of before.
"You what?" Mikoto Ishida, a short chubby girl spoke up.
"Spoke to her this morning" I repeated and they started the mumur amongst themselves.
What was going on?. I think it has something to do with her title but I didn't think it would be so bad and my brain decided to pull out old people and went full on dementia.
"What did she tell you" Suzume asked, a frown on her face.
"Nothing important, just that I wasn't late and that she might come to our class later on"
They heaved a sigh of relief.
"Oh, she also said that I should keep my ears sharp for the sound of a bell"
As I said that, the sigh that they released seemed to get stuck in their throats and the class broke out in a cahoot of noise.
"No, no, no, NO" Mikoto moaned as she snuck to her knees
"Calm down Izumi" Ren Ishimo, a thin pale boy with brown hair and brown eyes who wore glasses said, trying to console Mikoto.
"NO, I hate that woman" She suddenly broke down into tears, crying and sobbing with Ren patting her back in silent confort.
I watched all of this with great confusion, What was actually going on here.
Suzume seeing the confusion on my face spoke up.
"Kobayashi-sensei is a good but very strict sensei. She makes up various exercises that are exhausting at best and painful at worst, some of this exerises are going through training ground 56, where dangerous animals are to pick a certain herb or plant, Running 500 laps around the village, hiking up and down a mountain several times at our fastest speeds until she says we're fast enough and doing sets of exercises until we might as well just drop dead, just to name a few"
My mouth dropped open as why brain finally caught up and started recall information on Kobayashi.

It's used to signify the beginning of an exercise, she rings it only three times and at the sound of the bell, everybody has to rush downstairs in thirty seconds and if you're not there in that timeframe you have to do three or even four times the amount of the exercise

Kobayashi smiled and waved at Mabui, the Raikage's grey headed assistant and received a grunt as a reply. She chuckled at the look of despair on her face as she surveyed the mountain of paperwork she still had to sort out.
She got confirmation from Mabui as a nod, so she knocked on the Raikage's door.
"Come In" He practically growled from within and she had to keep herself from laughing.
Upon entering, she found out that the Raikage was in the same predicament as his assistance and this time she couldn't hold it in and actually chuckled.
Hearing her chuckle, the Raikage raised his eyes and muttered and 'oh' before fixing her a look to kill.
"To whom do I owe this visit Kobayashi, the last time you came here, complaining about the standards at the academy dropping, I gave you a free rein to do whatever it took to improve it. Kami knows that I've never gotten peace from civillian parents since that" He said with a grimance and she couldn't help but laugh making him glare harder.
She let out an embarrased laugh and composed herself "Well, fortunately, the academy is fine and thrives under my oh-so-iron-fisted rule." She snorted at that before going on "I'm here to complain about a single student actually." She said, her face dead serious
"Oh? and who may this student be" The Raikage asked, apprenhension on his face.
"Shadow Senju" She said and he scowled.
"That troublesome child" He spat "What have he done now?"
"Well it's not something he did... at least not really" She said with a resigned sigh.
"And what are you talking about?" He asked, genuinely confused.
"Well... His chakra has grown, massively at that, I origanally didn't want to tell you this because large chakra growth isn't really uncommon to Shinobi clans especially from a child with Uchiha descent. However, the growth was simply to great to ignore and I knew that I had to inform you about this" She said with another sigh.
"...This could mean something" The Raikage said after a long silence.
"It could also mean nothing Raikage-sama" She interjected.
"Yes it could but this coming from a child with the blood of that damnable clan no matter how little is a bit suspicious" The Raikage said.
"So what do you plan on doing Raikage-sama?" She asked
"I'll keep an eye on him, I bet my left arm that the kid is up to something" He snarled
"Very well" She said with resignation.
"You did well in telling me this Kobayashi" He said and she felt pride swell up in her.
"I live to serve Raikage-sama" She said with a bow.
"You're dismissed, I'll tell the HR department to increase your salary"
"Thank you Raikage-sama" She said happily and left, a huge grin on her face.
'I knew that was the right thing to do' She thought to herself with glee.
'But what if the kid was to get killed, brash as he was, the kid was one of the few people in that class that made things interesting, with all his 'bonding' with Suzume and Rihoko' She thought with a grim look.
"Don't know, don't care" She said then walked back home with a skip in her step as she planned what she would buy with her salary increase...
