A/N:

Just a little feel-good Sylki story with a lot of love, friendship and humor.

I hope you like it =)

Happy reading!

Hundreds of flashing lights surrounded them.

"Have you been in a store like that before?" a clueless and obviously overwhelmed god of thunder asked the woman standing next to him. She was desperately in search for the right department for her need.

"No, but how hard can it be.."

Sylvies gaze roamed around the shop again and finally she found what she was searching for. She pulled at the gods arm, who was busy looking after a brunette woman.

"Someone told you before, that five seconds and more is named staring and creepy?"

When the enchantress boxed him in the side, Thor grinned apologetic.

"The women on Midgard are so..different."

"As if he'd never seen a woman on earth before.." Sylvie said, rolling her eyes, "Come on, Casanova. If she's still here when we're done, I ask for her number for you."

Pulling him with her they walked into the vast world of electronic devices, in search for a laptop for Sylvie and the new studies she started a few weeks ago.

"Hi, can you help us? I'm looking for a laptop," she said, stopping a service guy, who was slightly overwhelmed by her briskly manner.

Answering his question, the blonde woman listed all the things her new computer should be able to do.

Thor looked at his female companion from the side, while she just shrugged.

"Tech savvy..not everyone is so outdated, Thor."

"Interesting research?"

His breath and whispering behind her ear caused Sylvie to wince and out of reflex she shot a wave of green seiưr at him, resulting in him flying through the air a few meter and against the next wall.

Slightly remorseful but grinning all the same, Loki got back on his feet.

"Damn it, Laufeyson! How often do I have to tell you not to sneak up on me like that?!"

He placed his hands on her shoulders while kissing the top of her head. Sylvie had turned around again, recovering from the quick shock with a deep breath.

All those years on the run left her wary, but also extremely jumpy at the tiniest disturbance.

And Loki was, to her disadvantage and annoyance an expert in the art of loudlessly-sneaking-up-on-someone.

"I'm sorry, but sometimes the temptation is just too strong," the god whispered into her ear, watching the arising goosebumps from her neck down to her arms with a satisfied smile.

"You're tense," he noticed, kneading her shoulder muscles, "How about a massage later?"

"Maybe.." Sylvie started, shaking him off, "..if you stop bothering me right now."

"Alright..I'll go..how about dinner? Mobius is coming across with some sushi in a moment.." the god said, once again whispering, placing a soft kiss on the sensitive skin behind her ear, observing the spectacle once again.

"..you know that raw fish and seaweed count as being really aphrodisiac?"

Sylvie turned her head with a raised eyebrow. Wasn't necessary to answer something, her gaze said everything.

The god raised his hands appeasing, to not squander her goodwill and his chances, "Okay, okay, I'll leave you alone..but the film starts in ten minutes, with or without you."

This whole thing had started by chance and because of a very sick Love a few months ago.

Meanwhile it had become a tradition.

The first friday of every month was movie night at Thors house in New Asgard.

Today was Sylvies turn to pick a movie and she chose a real classic.

Matrix.

People who broke out of an illusory world against all odds, which had been created to control everything, while the two main characters fell in love with each other, saving the world together.

What movie could be more accurate?

"Hey Sylvie," a happy Mobius called from behind, making her jump once again.

"Goddamn Mobius..you're lucky that I didn't throw you against the wall!"

Obviously it wasn't granted to her to work in peace.

With a deep sigh she closed her laptop and turned to the analyst, who stood before the orange time door with two big bags of sushi and a questioning look on his face.

"Delivery service," he said, grinning, "and some special delivery for Loki..since when is he into mussels and seaweeds?"

Sylvies eyerolling was most likely noticeable through all the nine realms, "I can tell you, if you wanna know. But don't say it was 'too much information' afterwards like last time."

Mobius, who remembered it all too vividly, shook his head with force, "No, thanks. You last description suffices for the next few years."

Unbelievable, eons of years old, but yet the analyst could blush like a sixteen year old boy.

Sylvie took her laptop and together they walked into the living room, where the two Asgardian brothers had already made themselves comfortable.

"Agent Mobius!" Thor shouted full of joy, jumping from the couch, pulling the analyst into a tight embrace.

"Careful Thor..no god..ly constitution..," Mobius gasped, while his lungs ran out of oxygen very quick.

Sylvie walked over to Loki, who had settled down on Thors couch, legs crossed, arms outspread over the arm rests, as if the whole world would belong to him.

"Lend me a hand here? Didn't plan on serving you boys," Sylvie said snarky, holding one bag towards him.

Loki smirked, a playful expression on his face, "Now that you mention it, why not?"

"Dream on, your highness," the goddess answered, sticking her tongue out to him.

With one quick, elegant move, Loki stood up and directly in front of her, back straightened, gaze challenging. Damn, how did she forget that he was taller by over a head.

Sylvie wasn't that kind of woman who needed a man to literally look up to.

But pretending it left her cold would be a lie.

Of course she wouldn't speak it out loud.

No need to fuel the ego of that horned guy further on.

"You're lucky I'm not..if you address your king like that, you'd be another head shorter than me in no time."

God and goddess of mischief looked deep into each others eyes, emerald green into deep blue ones.

"Would be a pity, if I lose my head, don't you think?"

A moment later, when they were so close that their lips almost touched, they heard an embarrassed analyst clear his throat.

"Umm..could you two postpone the roleplaying, please?"

Sylvie handed Loki both bags with a blink, "There you go, your majesty.."

The enchantress made herself comfortable on his former seat on the couch, legs crossed, arms spread wide.

"Today you'll serve me."

"That's completely unrealistic.."

Loki gesticulated with his hands, pointing at the TV, "Machines who use people as energy sources?! How the hel would that work?"

"Just as unrealistic as a million year old guy, who defeated all his variants by himself, controlling a whole multiverse by creating a fascist organisation and three time keepers, who turned out to be android space lizards," Sylvie pointed out, pulling him back to her.

Laying down, her head in his lap, intertwining her fingers with his.

"Hm, you can't really compare these things.." he said quietly, beginning to caress her hair.

Sylvie turned around in his lap, looking up to the god, placing her finger on his lips, "You always need to have the last word, Laufeyson?"

He grinned from ear to ear, "Who wants to have the last word now, Miss Laufeydottir.."

"Shhh, you two..there are people who want to watch the movie!"

Mobius leaned forward in his chair, looking at the monitor, utterly engaged.

Sylvie lifted her head a bit, shooting a glance at the two people next to them. Nudging Loki, she nodded in Thors direction, grinning.

Both Thor, god of thunder, and his adopted daughter had already arrived in dreamland. Love had crawled out of her bed at some point, joining them. Now she was deep asleep, her head leant on Thors shoulder, while his was tilted back, mouth a bit agape, the bag of popcorn in his lap.

Greedy Sylvie grabbed the snack, fishing a handful of popcorn out, "At least I have a chance of getting some of that now.."

Loki made a small noise, apparently to get her attention.

The enchantress looked up to him again, "Hm?"

"Come here, wanna tell you something important," the god mumbled quietly and when Sylvie followed his request, he placed a gentle but firm hand behind her neck.

Looking deep into her eyes, he pulled her to him.

Lips softly touching, mouths opening, tongues finding each other, dancing together, slowly first, then more and more passionate, demanding.

When Sylvie pulled away eventually, she saw his already slightly dilated pupils and his messy hair.

She loved it, when it was like that.

Naturally curled, shiny, a bit tousled.

He nodded to the door.

"The movie.." Sylvie began, her voice already husky and then even more quietly, "..and Mobius"

"You two can't concentrate on the movie, anyway," his voice came out of nowhere, catching them by surprise, making Sylvie jump, "..and your smacking drives me insane, by the way. You're unbelievable..I always thought one Loki would be a nightmare.."

He grinned without averting his gaze from the monitor, "..now there's two of you."

"And you love every second with us," Sylvie pointed out.

Now he turned his head nevertheless, looking at her, "His ego and your confidence, Sylvie.." he said, grabbing the popcorn bag out of her hands, looking back to Neo and his fight against the machines, "..no chance that I babysit your offspring."

And yet, they all knew that this was a bluff.

Mobius M. Mobius would one day be the best uncle.

And he would love it.

"What do I have to do to get you back into this bed?" the god asked with longing in his voice.

The mussels and seaweeds were laying untouched beside the bed.

But instead Sylvies top was drenched in soja sauce now.

"In a minute.." she said, staring with big eyes at the monitor.

"What could be this exciting to catch your attention like that?"

Someone who listens carefully could sound the huffy undertone in his voice out.

No, to be honest, it was pretty obvious.

Sylvie rolled her eyes, "Dramaqueen..no reason to get all worked up about the laptop. Here, this is really interesting.."

She tapped something into the keyboard, "I found an online platform called 'X'..it's really fascinating how people discuss about movies and series..Although Neo and Trinity for example are the power-couple of Matrix, the chemistry between the characters didn't convince everybody. People give their favourite couples made up names, so called 'ships'.."

Loki was standing behind her now, massaging her shoulders, "Hm, that's riveting.." he mumbled, stroking Sylvies hair to one side, starting to place soft kisses on her neck.

"Yes, it is.." the goddess agreed, but her attention slowly began to shift into another direction again.

"I can think of some other things that are interesting.." Loki said, pressing her against his chest, kissing her neck and shoulders.

When he turned her around in her chair, placed his arms under her legs, lifting her up and into his arms, the laptop and everything else was forgotten.

"Good morning, you two lovebirds"

Mobius, Thor and Love were already sitting at the breakfast table, when Loki came down the stairs, eyes only half open, in T-Shirt and short pants.

He was followed by Sylvie, bleary-eyed, in one of Lokis white TVA shirts.

It was way too big, but judging by Lokis gaze, he'd never seen something more beautiful.

"Coffee.." was all she could manage to say, sitting down next to Mobius, yawning.

He looked at her with a knitted brow and a slightly amused gaze, "You know, a thousand year old goddess should know the magic word by now, Sylvie."

But all he got as an answer was a little green light, dancing in the palm of her hand, while she looked with a challenging gaze at the analyst.

This specific magic word was not to exceed.

"Coffee it is," he gave in, pouring her a big cup.

"You really missed something yesterday. You wouldn't believe, Neo really managed to.."

"No spoilers!" Love complained while she sipped on her hot cocoa.

The analyst bend over to the small girl, "How I see it, you're far too young for such a movie, little lady.."

"I'm not a little lady," she answered defiant, making herself as big as possible, "..big enough to know what those noises were that came out of uncle Lokis room tonight!"

Loki spluttered out one half of the coffee in his mouth, choking on the other half. Sylvie tried to vanish in her oversized shirt and the chair.

Thor looked back and forth between the two of them with an reproving gaze.

Love just seemed happy.

"If I had a free wish, I'd like to have a little brother!"

Mobius grinned, while the unbelieving gaze of the thunderer went to his adoptive daughter, who only shrugged, "You think I don't know how babies are made, Dad?"

Mobius leaned back in his chair, grinning, patting Loki, who was still coughing his coffee out, on the back, "Seems as if someone just volunteered as babysitter."

Sylvie blushed in the most beautiful shades of red.

"Earth calls Sylvie"

When she averted her eyes from her laptop for a moment, she met Lokis. Mobius was taking a nap on the couch beside them.

Tomorrow they would return to the TVA, but today was dedicated to peace and relaxation.

"I found us.." Sylvie started, her facial expression pent-up, "..on this platform 'X' I mean.."

Loki was confused, not quite grasping what unsettled her like that, "And?"

"It's strange what they say about us..I told you about the 'shipping', yes? We have a 'ship' name, too."

"I'm all ears," Loki leaned forward, stroking Sylvies hand, "How did they name us?"

"Sylki," the enchantress answered and her expression lightened up for a moment, "Good call that my name comes first."

Loki laughed, placing a kiss on her forehead.

"There are many people who love us.." Sylvie continued, her gaze getting more serious again, "..but also many who downright hate us.."

The god caressed her cheek to calm her down and bringing her back to reality, making clear what was important, "And what significance does this have for us and for our life?"

Slowly Mobius began to wake up from his nap, "No chance to get some sleep, when you two are around."

And got an annoyed gaze from Sylvie back, "You're not this old..you have plenty of time to sleep when you're dead, Mobius."

A few clicks later Sylvie burst out laughing, "They even have a name for it..they call it 'selfcest', you know, because we're variants from each other.."

The goddess laughed so hard she had to hold her stomach. It was the most beautiful sound Loki had ever heard.

Well, together with some others..

For example the one Love unfortunately had to witness.

"They say when we sleep together it's like masturbation. Good to know..but as the saying goes, 'do yourself', no one knows better!"

Mobius was just about to cover his ears theatrically, when Thor walked into the room.

"What's going on here?" the god of thunder asked suspiciously, when he found Sylvie laughing, Mobius utterly overwhelmed and Loki with a raised eyebrow.

"When Sylvie and your brother have sex it's masturbation.." Mobius declared disillusioned and dryly.

Instead of Mobius, it was Thor who pressed his hands to his ears now, turning on his heels, "Too much information!"

Sylvie slowly calmed down, while she looked at Mobius with amusement, "You and Loki, you have a large fandom, too..your 'ship' name is 'Lokius'."

"Yeah, my name ranks first in this one," Loki grinned at the analyst, putting on a feigned seductive voice, "Well, what do you say, Mobius, you and me?"

"Not even when hell freezes over.." the agent replied, but entering the game, looking at Loki with an apologetic gaze, "I love you, Loki..but not like this. I'm sorry to disappoint you there."

The god placed a hand over his chest, to express his faked agony and broken heart.

Then he turned his attention back to the love of his life.

"That's enough 'shipping' for today."

He snapped the laptop shut, taking her face gently between his hands.

"I love you, Sylvie Laufeydottir, curse, blessing and biggest challenge of my life!"

Before he had the chance to kiss her, her eyes widened and her body began to have convulsions.

"Am I so repulsive, that you get sick just by looking at me?" the god asked with put-on hurt, but Sylvie was already running towards the bathroom.

When she came back a few minutes later, there was an unreadable expression in her face, which made Loki uneasy, too.

"Was the sushi bad?"

Her expression changed, for better or for worse was hard to say, but she placed her hand on her stomach.

"I don't think it's the sushi, Loki.."

Thor and Love had joined them in the meantime, laying on the couch.
All eyes were on Sylvie now.

The color in Lokis face changed within the blink of an eye, matching the color of the wall.

But in his eyes something was glimmering.

A spark of joy.

Love jumped off the couch euphoric, ran into Sylvies arms and placed her hand on her belly, too.

"Please grow into a little brother!"

A/N:

Hey guys,

I wrote this little story yesterday in reaction to a recent Sophia Di Martino Interview.

In that video she downplayed the romance between Sylvie and Loki, what made me really sad and angry at the same time. But what really pissed me off were the reactions on the video, where people cheered "Yay, the war is over" and "Thanks for confirming that"

My first reaction was, "Okay, I'm done with it!"

But then after reading several reactions, taking about it and taking a deep breath, I decided: No, I love this ship and these two idiots in love! So I wrote this, as a conciliation with me, Sophia, Sylki and to bring some ease and peace to my mind..and also some humor.

But the most important reason is to make fun of those "shipping wars"

Because: To each their own.

I will go down with this ship =)

Spread love, not hate 3
