Monday, IMP conference room,

The five main members of IMP were all situated in the conference room, Millie, Moxxie, Dante, and Loona sat in the conference room while Blitz stood at the head of the table explaining their next mission.

"Alright gang, the target wants us to kill some fundamentalist dipshits, apparently they blame these guys for them going to Hell and they want revenge," Blitz explained tossing pictures of the five targets on the table.

"Alright, how do you guys want to do this?" Blitz asked the group.

"Me and Moxx can handle these two," Millie said picking up two pictures.

"Alright, I guess Dante and I can deal with these three," Blitz said, attempting to scoop up the other three pictures, but Loona suddenly pulled two away.

"I'm going with Dante. I'm bored as fuck here, and I like seeing my man in action," Loona said with a smirk. Blitz rolled his eyes and looked at Dante.

"You cool with this?" Blitz asked his younger employee.

"Yeah, works for me," the Imp replied, soliciting the Hellhound's smile.

"Also, I have another question," Blitz stated.

"Shoot," Dante replied.

"What's with the beard?" Blitz asked the Imp who while normally clean-shaven had started growing a thick beard.

"What can't a guy grow a beard?" Dante said, stroking his chin. This wasn't the first time Dante had grown a beard; he'd had one off and on for years and decided to wear one again.

"It's just that you look like a hobo," Blitz said. Dante glared at his boss.

"True," Millie stated.

"Agreed," Moxxie added. Dante shot daggers at both of them until Loona pulled him close.

"Don't listen to them I think it's sexy," Loona whispered in his ear gently stroking his face.

Damn, even his beard hair is silky smooth, she thought to herself as she continued to feel his beard.

"Alright enough, let's get to work," Blitz stated. The others got up, and Loona opened portals to their intended destinations. Dante and Loona donned their disguises and were about to go through their portals before Blitz suddenly came up to them.

"hey Dante, I'll take the fifth target you and Loona can handle the old couple," Blitz said taking one of the photos and then opening a portal for himself.

"Whatever," Dante replied as he and his girlfriend made their way through their portal.

Small Town, Maine USA, middle of the night,

Dante and Loona's target was a husband and wife in their mid-sixties, they ran their fundamentalist group using social media and virtual gatherings. Quietly sneaking through the backyard Dante and Loona made their way to the back door. Picking the lock Dante opened the door for Loona and followed swiftly behind her, the two made their way through the house, and as they did, they saw tons of religious paraphernalia, bibles, crucifixes, pictures, and paintings of Jesus Christ.

Damn, these nutcases make even Francesco look like a moderate, Dante thought to himself as he continued to stare at the paraphernalia.

Feeling something under his foot, Dante looked down and saw a rosary. Picking it up, he examined it. It had red beads, and the cross was made of silver. Sticking the thing in his pocket, he followed Loona through the house.

Making their way into the couple's kitchen they suddenly heard the sound of a door opening and quickly hid under a table. A light came on and an old woman with gray hair, one of the two targets, stepped into the kitchen. The woman approached a cabinet, pulled out a glass, and filled it at the sink. As she sipped her glass of water, Dante silently crawled out from under the table, pulled out a knife, and began approaching her. Unfortunately, where Dante was standing caused his shadow to fall on the wall across from the target. Seeing this she turned around and saw Dante standing before her. They stood there without saying a word until the woman suddenly fell to her knees and bowed before Dante.

"Oh, great savior, I am honored by your presence," she stated, bowing deeper before Dante. Dante stared at her dumbstruck, not sure what was going on. He turned to look at Loona, who shrugged in response.

"Umm excuse me?" Dante asked the target.

"Oh, I'm sorry, your Holiness. Have I upset you? I am most sorry!" she shouted, looking scared.

"Uhh who do you think I am?" he asked genuinely confused at this interaction.

"You are our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the son of God, the Messiah, the one who died on the cross for our sins," she explained sitting and looking at Dante's eyes filled with religious fervor.

"Wait are you serious?" Loona asked, getting up from under the table and standing by her boyfriend.

"Of course, look at him, the long hair, the beard, the commanding and compassionate gaze of course he's Christ!" she exclaimed gesturing to Dante and then a photo of Jesus that was to his left. It was then the old woman finally took Loona into account more specifically the way she was dressed.

"Wait a minute, my lord. Who is this, Jezebel?" the zealot asked, pointing at Loona. The Hellhound glared at her and was about to lunge forward before Dante stopped her.

"This is… uh, Mary Magdelene, she chose to accompany me on this trip to Earth," Dante lied, thankfully she bought it.

"Oh Lord, I knew that one day you would come to me, so what is it I must do? What message do you wish me to share?" she asked, a look of pure joy and excitement on her face.

"Close your eyes," Dante said in a commanding voice, he wasn't sure what the hell was wrong with this woman but would use it to his advantage.

"Yes, my lord," she said and closed her eyes tight, lifting the knife Dante was about to bury it in her neck when suddenly he heard someone shout.

"Get your hands off my wife!" it turned out the second target had woken up and had walked into the kitchen just when Dante was about to kill his wife.

Acting quickly Dante threw the knife at the man the blade piercing his chest, the man let out a scream that quickly faded into a moan then a wet gurgle as he collapsed to the floor. The wife let out a terrified scream that was quickly silenced by Loona who changed into her true form and tore her throat out.

"Well, that was weird," Dante stated as he took in the damage.

"Agreed, let's get the fuck out of here," Loona said opening a portal back to Hell.

Later that night,

Dante sat on the edge of his apartment complex's roof looking out on the Imp City skyline, taking a drink from a bottle of red wine Dante stared out at the city before directing his eyes towards the sky. Dante studied the Pride Ring's dark red sky, his gaze eventually falling on the bright glowing sphere of Heaven. Dante sighed and reached up toward the sphere and made to grab it, looking down at his closed fist he opened it and saw it was empty.

"Yep, that's about right, always out of reach," Dante muttered taking another drink.

Just then a bright shimmer out of the corner of his eye brought Dante's attention back to the sky, looking near Heaven, he saw what he thought was a shooting star. It was a bright silvery white and glittered against the dark red sky.

"Huh didn't know Hell had shooting stars?" Dante said to himself, he expected the shooting star to disappear quickly, but it didn't instead it just got bigger and bigger until Dante realized it wasn't getting bigger it was getting closer.

The shooting star or meteor as it probably was now passed over Dante's apartment building Dante could feel the heat of it as it passed over his head. Dante watched as the meteor continued its descent before crashing into the ground two blocks away, Dante felt the building shake from the impact. Moving quickly Dante scaled the side of his building and once he reached the ground, he took off towards the crash site. As he made his way down the street he saw the smoking wreckage of an apartment building; much of the structure had been knocked down; all that was left was the far-left side. As Dante approached the crater, he saw smoke rising from the epicenter, sliding down the side Dante made his way toward the center, covering his mouth with his shirt Dante made his way through the thick smoke. Finally, the smoke dissipated, and Dante saw what had crashed, it was not a large rock like he originally had thought, instead it was a person.

This person was petite likely in their mid to late teens likely around Octavia's age, they wore what Dante could only describe as squire garb, a black short-sleeve tunic that fell to their knees a silver long-sleeve one underneath with black pants. The front of the black tunic had a large silver cross on the front. Atop the head of this figure was a gray mask except for the face which looked like some kind of LED screen glitching out and blurred out, and atop the mask was a pair of horns pointed upward. The thing that got Dante's attention the most, however, was the set of shining white wings one looked worse for wear.

"per Cristo è un Angelo!" Dante shouted as he stepped closer, and the cross around his neck began to glow with a soft white light.

As Dante stepped closer, he assumed the Angel was dead but then he heard them groan and began to shift in pain. Shocked Dante knelt by the injured Angel, as he did, he noticed the Angel had a bow and a quiver of arrows on their back and a dagger strapped to their belt. Hearing the sound of distant chatter the young Imp realized that soon other people would be arriving, acting quickly Dante took off his coat and promptly wrapped it around the Angel. Lifting them he carried them out of the crater and swiftly returned to his apartment, being very careful that no one saw him or who he was carrying.

Back at Dante's apartment,

Kicking his door in Dante quickly brought the wounded Angel inside and carried them to his room. Laying them down gently on his bed Dante removed their weapons and began looking over the Angel, starting with the head he pulled off the helm and what he saw surprised him. He didn't know what to expect but what he saw took him by surprise this Angel's papery-white skin their hair was silvery-gray, cut short on the sides but long on top and combed back. Their face was young, this Angel was definitely in their late teens, inspecting their head, Dante did not see any large bumps or gashes but did see a large cut on their cheek with luminescent gold blood. Reaching under his bed Dante pulled out a first aid kit, Dante cleaned the cut with rubbing alcohol and covered it with a bandage. Later Dante inspected their arms. Their right arm was fine, but he noticed that their left arm was swollen with several large bruises, While squeezing the arm Dante saw the Angel cringe in pain.

"Hmm, not broken. It's probably a sprain," Dante said to himself. Moving quickly, Dante went to his kitchen and got an ice pack. He then wrapped the arm in bandages to limit its movements and gently placed the arm on his chest with the ice pack.

Dante inspected the rest of the Angel's body and didn't notice anything except a few cuts and scrapes, it was then that Dante moved to the wings. The right wing looked as fine as far as he knew but the left wing looked busted, it was bleeding and was bent weirdly. Now Dante was not a veterinarian he had no idea how to treat the wing, but he did not want to leave the limb untreated. His first attempt was to use the healing spell he learned from Stolas' book but unfortunately, it didn't work every time Dante tried to cast the spell it would immediately fail, he assumed the Angel's divine nature canceled out his dark magic. Seeing no other option Dante pulled out his phone and found the number of a vet who does house calls.

Ten minutes later,

Hearing a knock on the door, Dante made his way through the apartment and opened the door, and in stepped a short middle-aged Imp woman with a large bag.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Wilson I'm here for that injured bird," she said matter-of-factly.

"Yes, they're right down this way," Dante said leading the vet to his room once she walked in and saw the Angel she went pale.

"What the fuck!" she shouted and attempted to run out of the room but was stopped by Dante.

"Look lady I know this is crazy, but I just need you to patch up their wing I think it's broken," Dante explained trying to keep the vet calm.

"Are you fucking insane this is a fucking Angel a servant of GOD I'm not helping them!" she stated angrily, she tried to push past Dante, but he pulled a gun on her.

"You are going to fix up that wing or I will fucking kill you," Dante explained holding the gun up to her head.

"So, what's it gonna be?" Dante asked, the vet looked at the gun and then back at the Angel.

An hour later,

"Alright I looked over the wing, their Ulna is broken and there is some tissue damage, I was able to bandage it up and put a split on the wing if all goes well it should heal within two weeks," the vet explained standing outside Dantes bedroom.

"Good, good glad to hear that," Dante sighed in relief.

"I'm glad you're happy so now what are you gonna kill me to keep that… thing a secret?" the Veterinarian asked, Dante glared down not pleased with her choice of words.

Reaching forward Dante pressed his middle and index fingers against her forehead, pulling his hand away the Vet stumbled before regaining her balance.

"Huh wait what was I talking about?" she asked, confused.

"You were saying how my parrot's gonna be healed of its broken wing in about two weeks," Dante explained with a knowing smirk. God, he loved that mind-wiping spell.

"Ohh yes right like I said should heal in about two weeks, here's a prescription for some pain meds just go to your local vet and they'll get them for you," she said handing him a piece of paper.

"Thank you I really appreciate this," Dante stated.

"It's no trouble now my fee is about two hundred and fifty souls," she explained curtly.

"Here's three keep the change," Dante stated handing the woman the money, as soon as she was gone Dante let out a sigh of relief, he didn't enjoy threatening her, but he didn't have a choice he couldn't just leave the Angels wing messed up like that.

Heading back into his room he looked at the damaged wing and saw it was wrapped in bandages with two splits on each side keeping the wing in place. Looking at the Angel's face, he saw that they were still in great discomfort while the pain was lessened. Looking at the prescription in his hand he knew that medicine meant for a parrot wouldn't be effective. Disintegrating the paper Dante figured that the Vicodin he had left over would probably be enough for them. Suddenly Dante realized something serious, this Angel was perhaps gonna wake up soon and he didn't have any food! All Dante had was wine and he doubted the Angel could live off booze like him, acting quickly he pulled up the delivery app on his phone. Dante pondered what he should order then he remembered a recipe Giuseppe used to have their cook make whenever he, Rose, or Francesco fell sick. Putting in the order Dante sat down by the Angel and watched as they continued to sleep. After twenty minutes the delivery guy finally arrived and gave Dante his groceries, carrying the bag to the kitchen he unpacked all the ingredients he needed, chicken, onions, garlic, cream, and broth. Pulling out a large pot Dante filled it with water and set it on his lit stove, as the water boiled Dante cut up the chicken into small chunks, then quickly moved on to the onions and garlic. Once the water began to boil he mixed in the chicken and vegetables along with some of the broth and started stirring the mixture. After several minutes Dante tasted the mixture and decided that it was just about done, butting the stove on low heat he put the lid on the pot, he then filled a small bag with ice, and went back to his room. Placing the bag of ice on the Angel's head he sat in a chair he pulled out from his living room and continued to watch over his injured guest.

After what seemed like an eternity Dante saw the Angel begin to stir opening their eyes which Dante saw were gold. Sitting up, the angel groaned and reached for their head with their sprained arm which they immediately regretted as they quickly grasped their arm in pain.

"Hey, be careful you just had a bad accident," Dante said in a gentle tone putting his hands on their shoulders.

"Water?" they said in a hoarse voice. Grabbing a glass off his nightstand, Dante helped them sit up and brought the cup to their mouth.

The Angel drank deeply, finishing off the glass quickly before coughing.

"That water tasted awful," they said their voice less rough.

"Sorry tap water what can you do," Dante said shrugging his shoulders, he wasn't mad he knew it tasted like shit, but hey this is Hell after all.

"Even so it shouldn't have tasted that… bad," the Angel stopped once they got a good look at the red-skinned, sharp-toothed, horned figure sitting next to them. Immediately the Angel pushed Dante away raising their arm defensively and scowling at the Imp.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down kid I'm not gonna hurt you," Dante said reassuredly trying to keep the Angel calm.

"Bullshit you're a fucking demon, vile spawn of evil, you're probably trying to kill me!" they shouted, reaching for the dagger that was no longer at their side.

"You looking for this?" Dante asked holding up the dagger, its silver blade glowing faintly in Dante's grasp. The Angel gulped seeing that their blade was in their enemy's hands, the look on their face shifting into a look of fear.

"S-so what now are you going to kill me?" they asked Dante could see that they were trying to act tough, but he could hear their voice crack with fear.

"No, no, no, I'm not going to hurt you, I promise," Dante said placing the dagger on the dresser behind him and sending the Angel a reassuring smile. Despite the disarming smile, the Angel did not look convinced.

"I'm serious, if I wanted to kill you, I would have killed already, or I would have left you to die in the streets," Dante explained, the Angel opened their mouth but stopped and started thinking.

"Also, I wouldn't have bandaged up your arm and put your broken wing in a split," Dante explained crossing his arms. The Angel looked down at their arm and suddenly went wide-eyed as if they had just realized something.

"Wait what about my- ahh!" the Angel screamed as they attempted to flex their wings, and an intense pain shot through them. Dante watched as they collapsed onto the bed, he saw tears running down their cheeks as they tried to handle the pain.

Moving quickly Dante grabbed the empty glass off the nightstand and ran to the bathroom, refilling the glass, when he came back to his room, he opened the drawer of his nightstand and pulled out a bottle of pills, removing two pills he offered them and the glass to the Angel.

"Here take these," Dante explained, the Angel quickly took the pills and downed them with the glass of water. After several minutes the pain in the Angel's wing began to fade and they began to calm down and relax.

"Are you hungry cause I made some chicken soup if you want some?" Dante asked, relieved to see them in less distress.

"No, I'm fine," they said sternly only for their stomach to start growling. Smirking, Dante turned to leave but as he did, he saw the Angel eyeing the dagger on the dresser and quickly snatched it with his tail.

"Ah, ah, ah," Dante said wagging his finger at them. Tucking the dagger into his pants he also took the bow and quiver with him as well, not that they could use them in their state but better safe than sorry. The Angel pouted, Dante smiled at them and left to get their food.

Coming back into his room carrying two bowls of soup he put one down on his dresser and then presented the other to the Angel. They reached for it before suddenly pulling away and giving Dante a suspicious look.

"Christ on his Cross kid it's not poison like I said before if I wanted you dead, I would have killed already," he said pushing the bowl closer the Angel reached out and gingerly took the bowl cautiously had a spoonful and cringed.

"What's up is it bad I know I'm not the best cook, but I can get you something else?" Dante asked worried that he had messed up.

"No, it's not bad it's just… it doesn't taste like it would in Heaven," they explained taking another spoonful and making another unhappy face.

"Well, I guess that makes sense I've noticed the stuff here in Hell isn't as good as it is on Earth," Dante explained casually starting to eat himself when suddenly he got an idea.

Putting the bowl down, Dante left the room and headed for his safe, opening it he pulled out a large bottle of red Tuscan wine. Grabbing two small glasses and brought these items to his room.

"Hey, I have some wine from Earth if you'd like some?" Dante said holding up the bottle for them to see.

"Wait seriously how'd you get that?" they asked, confused, how an Imp got their hands on Earth food.

"I have my ways," he said with a wink.

"So do you want a glass or what?" he asked holding up the glass.

"Uhh yeah sure if you're offering," they said, opening the bottle Dante filled both glasses and handed one to the Angel.

"Salute!" Dante said holding up his glass.

"Cheers!" the Angel said lifting their glass and knocking it against his, they each took a drink, The Angel sipped theirs while Dante finished his glass in one go.

"Wow this is pretty good," the Angel stated with a smile taking another sip.

"Nothing's better than Italian wine," Dante replied, proudly refilling his glass and taking another drink, only drinking half of it this time.

The two continued to eat in silence and upon finishing their meals, Dante placed both bowls in the kitchen sink. Upon returning to his room the Angel looked at him with utter confusion.

"What?" Dante asked, not sure what was wrong.

"Are… are you really not going to kill or torture me?" they inquired looking at Dante with wide eyes.

"No, I'm not," Dante stated bluntly, the Angel looked at him with utter amazement.

"Why do you look so shocked?" Dante asked, leaning against the door frame.

"Because you're a demon, you're the embodiment of evil and cruelty, your kind torture and brutalize the innocent daily," they explained Dante just started laughing.

"What's so funny?" they asked annoyed, Dante got a hold of his laughter and sent the Angel a smirk.

"Nothing it's just that your idea of Hell seems a little inaccurate," he explained wiping away a tear.

"What do you mean?" they asked looking confused.

"Hell isn't the typical fire and brimstone situation that's depicted in the Bible, Torah, or the Quran, and the whole demons torturing damned souls isn't real, for the most part, Hellborns do not have any interactions with Sinners," Dante explained, the young Angel still didn't seem convinced.

"Yeah well, but I'm an Angel, a warrior of light and justice a mortal enemy of demon-kind, you should hate me with all your might," they explained.

"Why would I hate you, you've never done anything to me?" Dante replied, they looked taken aback as if that mindset had never even entered their mind.

'But, but I-I'm an enemy," they replied, shaking with uncertainty.

"But you are not my enemy, I don't care what grudge Heaven and Hell have against each other, it doesn't involve me," Dante explained his voice firm in his, the young Angel didn't say anything they just sat back on the bed a look of shock on their face.

"It's getting pretty late, why don't you get some sleep I'll check on your injuries in the morning," Dante stated, the Angel nodded their head and crawled under the covers making sure to lie on their right side not to aggravate their busted wings.

Tuesday morning,

Dante stood in front of the stove cooking some bacon and eggs, normally he would be at work right now, but not wanting to leave his Angelic guest unattended he called out sick, much to Blitz's frustration but what can you do? Flipping one of the bacon strips watched as it sizzled in the hot pan, hearing a door open Dante heard a set of footsteps coming in his direction.

"Hey Ragazzino, I made breakfast hope you like bacon and eggs," Dante shouted over his shoulder.

"Yes, that should be fine," the Angel said, Dante turned around and handed them a plate topped with three strips of bacon and plenty of scrambled eggs.

Once he had fully turned around Dante saw how worn out and tired the Angel looked, obviously, they didn't sleep well last night.

"Want some coffee with those?" he asked upon taking in their disheveled appearance.

"By the Seraphim yes," they groaned taking the plate in their good hand and sitting at Dante's table. Once Dante finished cooking his meal Dante set his plate down across from the Angel then went back into the kitchen and filled two mugs with coffee.

"Here you go, Caffe fresco," Dante stated putting a mug down in front of the Angel, then sitting down across from them.

The two ate in relative silence, Dante watched as the Angel cringed with every bite, clearly, they still hadn't gotten used to Hell's terrible food. As he finished eating Dante realized something vital.

"Oh, shit I just realized I never got your name," Dante explained sending the Angel an embarrassed smile.

"I don't have one," they stated bluntly taking a sip from their mug.

"What do you mean you don't have a name?" Dante asked confused about how someone could not have a name.

I mean not having a last name yeah, I get that, I didn't have a last name until Giovanni took me in, but Dante thought to himself not having a given name.

"Because I don't a warrior of Heaven does not get a name until they have proven themselves before our great general Adam," they explained sternly.

"Well, that may be but I'm not gonna call you "the Angel" or "that Angel" so I'm gonna give you a name as long as you're here," Dante stated pointing his fork at them.

"I already told you only Adam can give me a name," they replied sounding somewhat angry.

"You don't have to keep this name, it's just something for me to call you so I don't have to keep on objectifying you," Dante explained, the Angel glared at him for a moment before sighing.

"Alright fine, what do you have in mind?" they relented sitting back in their chair, only to regret it as they put pressure on their busted wing.

"Hmm," Dante contemplated for a moment drinking his coffee before inspiration struck.

"Seraffo!" he stated excitedly.

"Huh?" the Angel responded.

"Seraffo, a name derived from the word Seraphim, you swore by them so why not use that," Dante explained the name and why he chose it.

"But I'm not a Seraphim," they said sounding worried, likely thinking this might be offensive to their superiors.

"I know you're not and this name doesn't imply you are one, think of it instead of you honoring them by calling yourself after them like how people name their children after saints as a way of honoring those holy figures," Dante elaborated, the Angel stopped and considered it for a moment Dante's logic did make sense.

"Alright Seraffo it is," they said with a shrug, Dante smiled.

"Well nice to meet you Seraffo," Dante said holding out his hand, Seraffo looked at the hand cautiously before taking it and giving it a firm shake.

Later that morning,

Seraffo sat on the bed as Dante carefully removed the bandages from their broken wing, once the gold stain fabric was removed Dante carefully inspected the fractured limb.

"Well, I don't see any fresh blood and it looks like you're injuries have scabbed over completely," he explained looking at the various dried golden-colored spots on the wing.

"Great to hear," Seraffo muttered gritting their teeth in pain.

"Get ready I'm gonna apply the disinfectant," Dante explained pouring some rubbing alcohol on a cloth. Gently pressing the cloth against their wing Seraffo suppressed a yelp of pain, tightly gripping the bed sheets.

Pulling the cloth away Dante replaced the splints and rewrapped the wing in fresh bandages, Dante put the bandages and rubbing alcohol in a bag and then tucked it under his bed. Standing up Seraffo suddenly lost their balance and nearly fell but was caught by Dante.

"Whoa, you ok Ragazzino?" Dante asked concerned helping the Angel back to their feet.

"Yeah, I'm good it's just… wings are sensitive and damage to one can be pretty intense," Seraffo explained rubbing their head.

"Oh merda! I'm sorry I should have been more careful," Dante exclaimed feeling guilty for causing them such discomfort.

"It's fine it's my fault anyway," they explained pulling out of Dante's grip and standing up straight.

"How the hell is it your fault?" Dante asked, confused at their statement.

"I'm an Exorcist, a warrior of Heaven, the flaming sword of vengeance and justice, a mere flesh wound shouldn't have incapacitated me like that," they said sounding embarrassed as if intense pain from a physical injury should be nothing to them, Dante rolled his eyes at the statement.

"Look kid I get you want to seem strong and tough, but a broken limb is not something you can just brush off, even the strongest soldiers were incapacitated by busted limbs and still needed treatment," Dante explained crossing his arms, and sending them a stern look but they did not look phased.

"Maybe for demons or even humans but an Angel like me we can endure anything!" they stated proudly, Dante again rolled his eyes.

"Even so why don't you take some more pain meds," Dante said pulling the bottle of pills from a drawer in his nightstand and holding it out to Seraffo.

"I told you I'm fine I don't need any drugs!" they shouted indignantly, smacking the bottle away, they then turned around and walked out of the bedroom and they did Dante could see a pained expression on their face.

Picking up the medicine, Dante followed them and saw them leaning against the couch holding their shoulder, their breathing labored. Making his way over, Dante reached out to touch them, but they pulled away.

"Dammit, kid you're in pain just take the damn meds!" Dante stated holding up the pills.

"I told you I don't need them I'm… I'm," Seraffo suddenly lost their balance forcing Dante to catch them. Lifting them Dante put them gently down on the couch.

"Look Seraffo I get you want to seem strong; I get you want to be tough and brave, but there is a fine line between being strong and being prideful and if I remember correctly isn't pride one of the most severe of the Seven Deadly Sins?" Dante stated not so subtly referencing Lucifer himself, the sin that got him banished from Heaven.

Seraffo's eyes went wide at his statement they opened their mouth to say something but then stopped and considered it. Seeing that Seraffo was on the fence about the issue Dante pressed his advantage.

"Look Ragazzino being strong doesn't mean ignoring your pain, being strong doesn't mean pretending that an injury doesn't hurt, being strong doesn't mean doing things alone," Dante took their hand and held it in his.

"Being strong is recognizing that you need help and accepting help from those who care about you and want to help, so let me help you and prove that you are strong," Dante squeezed Seraffo's hand, the Angel sighed.

"Alright, alright you win give me the meds," Seraffo relented holding out their hand, smiling Dante poured some pills into their palm and then quickly swallowed them.

"Thank you," Seraffo said, Dante nodded in reply.

Later that Afternoon,

Both Dante and Seraffo sat at the kitchen table, a pizza box sat between them both ate without speaking for several minutes. Seraffo put down their slice of pizza and looked at the Imp across from them.

"So do you know what happened to my mask?" Seraffo asked, they knew Dante had their dagger and quiver and arrows, but they hadn't seen their mask.

"Oh, that thing. Yeah, I got it," Dante said. Getting up, he returned to his room and later returned with the mask in hand. Offering the mask to the Angel, they took it inspected it and saw that it was severely damaged. The LED mask was flickering wildly.

"Dammit, Lute's gonna be pissed," they groaned looking down at the busted mask.

"Who's Lute?" Dante asked curiously.

"Adams is second in command. She helps to lead his forces during Extermination Day. Her job is to keep us strong and punish any weakness or insubordination," they explained. From how their voice tensed up, he guessed she wasn't very nice.

"Huh she sounds like a bitch," Dante stated offhandedly, Seraffo shot up in anger at that remark.

"Lute is not! I mean She's… well she's, she's… uh," Seraffo trailed off unable to complete their statement, that was all Dante needed to know to figure out he was probably right.

"Lute is tough, but she has to be we Exorcists are Heaven's first line of defense against the forces of Hell we keep Heaven safe by putting down any potential uprisings from Lucifer and his Sinner ilk so she has to be tough on us she has to be harsh we have to stay strong to protect Heaven!" Seraffo declared passionately, Dante rolled their eyes.

He had heard all that before, he had read the book, History of Hell and the Exterminations, and personally, he found it to be utter bullshit. The book praised Lucifer claiming he was just trying to help mankind, just trying to give them the chance to have fun and enjoy life, like they weren't doing that already in a fucking paradise like Eden. he also read the chapter about how Heaven orders the exterminations because they misconstrued Lilith's attempts at rallying the denizens of Hell to help them find purpose and peace as an attempt at rebellion, leading to the yearly extermination.

At least now I know the last part is true, though who knows, maybe Lilith was trying to start a rebellion? Dante thought to himself, suddenly something else came to mind.

"Wait the leader of the Exorcists is called Adam so is he like, the Adam like from the Book of Genesis?" Dante asked his curiosity suddenly peaked.

"Yep, the one and only," Seraffo replied with a small nod.

"But according to scripture, Adam was the progenitor of all Humanity doesn't it bother him to massacre demons who are technically his distant grandkids?" Dante asked confused as to why the first man would engage in such sadistic brutality. Seraffo just snorted and rolled their eyes at that question.

"Please the souls here in Hell are vile and evil beings they were sent here for their horrid and sinful behavior, and they all deserve to be erased," Seraffo said with conviction, clearly the idea of the Exterminations being a justifiable necessity is something they hold dear.

Hell Dante couldn't really disagree himself; he had no qualms with the Exterminations, in fact, he saw them as a generous mercy to be freed from the eternal torment of eternity. Plus, Dante had loved ones in Heaven, and the idea of them getting caught up in a war with Hell made him shudder in fear. But still, there was one aspect of the exterminations he disliked and that was the indiscriminate slaughter of every Sinner in sight. While yes many in Hell were awful and deserved oblivion some were not inherently evil, they just made some bad decisions and honestly didn't deserve to be erased for that.

"There are indeed a lot of horrid people in Hell, I'm a prime example of that, I mean look at me I'm evil incarnate," Dante stated gesturing to himself, Seraffo looked at him confused.

"But there are alot of Sinners here that aren't horrid alot of them are good people they just… made some mistakes," Dante explained, Seraffo rolled their eyes.

"Oh, please. If they were good people, then they wouldn't be here in Hell now, would they?" they asked, putting their hands on their hips.

"Hmm alright, how about I give you an example, then you can decide?" Dante asked Seraffo nodded gesturing for Dante to continue.

"Here in Hell there is a Sinner named Mai, Mai worked as a prostitute in the city of Nanjing in the 1930s. Mai had no formal education she grew up in a small village, couldn't read, couldn't write, she moved to Nanjing because she hoped it would give her more opportunities but instead, she ended up working as a maid working long hours and only making the equivalent of two dollars an hour," Dante explained, Seraffo listened intently.

"No making enough for food or rent Mai had no choice but to sell herself to get by. The life of a prostitute is not easy, trust me I grew up around hookers I saw firsthand what they went through. Mai was forced to have sex with creepy disgusting men, some would cheat her, hell a few smacked her around," the Imp explained.

"Gosh that's horrible," Seraffo said shocked.

"It was but what's truly horrible is that's not the worst thing that happened to her," Dante said.

"What could be worse than that?" Seraffo asked wondering how things could be more awful than what he already said.

"The Rape of Nanking," Dante stated bluntly.

"What was that?" the young Angel asked never hearing of the event before but from that name alone it wasn't good.

"In the year 1937, the army of Imperial Japan attacked and occupied the Chinese city of Nanjing which at the time was called Nanking, during this occupation the Japanese inflicted horrific atrocities on the people," Dante elaborated a stern look overcoming his features as he recalled the details.

"They butchered civilians from the elderly to children, using them for target practice, making examples out of them, hell they even killed people for sport,"

"Wait seriously?!" Seraffo asked shocked at the idea that someone would kill innocents just for the fun of it.

"Yep, some Officers even made a game of it, they tried to see how many people each one could decapitate with a sword," Dante made a swinging motion with his hands like he was holding a sword.

Seraffo looked on horrified suddenly a memory came back to them it was just after the recent Extermination while they had not participated in it, they heard some Angels comparing numbers, and they recalled the proud sadistic smiles etched onto their faces as they described all the Sinners they erased from existence.

"And it gets worse," Dante stated pulling Seraffo out of their flashback.

"How could it get worse?" they asked not sure what could top senseless mass murder.

"When the occupying force started to rape the women," Dante replied, Seraffo's eyes went wide.

"To the Japanese, the women of the captured lands were nothing but loot, prizes for them to use as they saw fit, and trust me kid I fought in war, when a soldier gets the chance to take their spoils they take them," Dante stated a look of guilt briefly overtaking his face.

"Mai was one of those prizes she was "claimed" by some lieutenant he raped her for months on end until he eventually got bored of her and then killed her," Dante finished his hands clenched so tightly that his talons were starting to cut into his skin. Seraffo covered their mouth in horror at the idea of this Mai person going through such pain, and they saw this was clearly painful for Dante to discuss.

"So, tell me does Mai deserve to be erased, she lived a terrible life, and she died a horrendous death isn't what she went through enough?" Dante asked the Angel crossing his arms and leaning against the wall.

Seraffo sat back down, their face slowly turned pale, a look of shock and horror on their face. Attempting to stand up but suddenly found themselves losing balance, but luckily, they were caught by Dante.

"Ahh Cazzo, that was too much wasn't it, I'm sorry Seraffo," Dante said voice filled with regret.

"I… I think I need to lie down," Seraffo muttered voice barely above a whisper, Dante put their arm over his shoulder and helped carry them to his room and lay them down on the bed.

"Maledizione, cazzo," Dante muttered to himself as he left the room looking back over at the young Angel he just traumatized.

Later in the early evening,

Dante sat on the couch looking over Seraffo's dagger was 11 inches long, with the blade about nine inches, and the handle being two. Dante inspected the blade moving it around to get a good look at all of its contours, only one side of the blade was sharp, the blade had a slight curve to it the end stopping at a sharp point. Dante ran his finger along the blade, from what he had heard Angel blades were supposed to sting and burn when a demon touched them but for Dante, it didn't hurt, in fact, it felt kinda nice, nice, and warm. Making his way to the tip of the blade Dante pressed his pointer finger against it till he drew blood, pulling away from the blade he looked down at his bloody finger. As he saw the blood run down his finger, he thought back to the day Stolas was kidnapped and tortured, Dante couldn't help but smile. While yes what that Striker douchebag did was overkill Dante had to admit seeing a stuffy noble like Stolas in pain brought him great joy.

Wait a minute that Striker guy used a holy knife to hurt Stolas and I have one right now, Dante thought looking down at the blade. His mind instantly turned to thoughts of murder using the Danter to slit Stolas's throat or even cut out his heart, but then he decided that theirs someone else who deserves to die more than him.

"Yeah, that stupid little bitch Stella," Dante said darkly, he had heard all about Stolas's cunt of a wife, from what Octavia and Blitz have told him she's even worse than him.

According to Octavia Stella was very distant and cold, she also had a very violent temper and was known to throw things and employees and smash furniture when angry. From what Blitz said she was extremely racist and classist, she despised Imps and the lower classes, apparently when it comes to the affair, she's more pissed that Stolas slept with an Imp rather than him cheating on her.

Dante's mind quickly went to all the things he would do to her, first, he would strip her down and tie her to a bed, making sure her arms and legs were properly secure. Then once she was secure, he would slowly start cutting away at her, removing chunk after chunk of flesh from her body. He would smile as he slowly dismembered her taking great joy as her shouts of anger and indignation slowly morphed into cries of pain and agony, and her arrogant curses turned into cries of mercy.

Oh yes, that would be fun! Dante thought to himself giddy with excitement as he thought of all the pain and agony, he could put her through, after all, does anyone else in Hell deserve to die more than her?

Yes, and you know who, Dante thought suddenly calming down and looking down at the dagger the sadistic look on his face replaced by a cold empty expression.

Turning the dagger towards himself, he positioned the blade right against his heart. Dante closed his eyes and began to press the blade into his chest but before the point could even break the skin, Dante heard a scream coming from his room. Dropping the dagger Dante rushed in and saw Seraffo lying in bed flailing around clearly having a bad dream.

"Seraffo! Seraffo wake up!" Dante said shaking the sleeping Angel, after a minute they finally awoke.

Bolting up Seraffo clutched their chest taking several deep breaths, Dante put a hand on their shoulder hoping to calm them down. After five minutes Seraffo finally relaxed enough to speak;

"I- I'm sorry," they muttered under their breath.

"Sorry for what?" Dante asked, not sure what they were apologizing for.

"For… for…," they didn't finish, but Dante had a pretty good what they were going to say.

"Look, it's… just try to relax and go back to sleep," Dante replied, Seraffo stood up and headed for the bathroom, Dante sighed and rubbed his forehead.

Why the Hell did I tell her about Mai? He asked himself but he was soon taken out of his thoughts by a sudden scream.

Making his way to the bathroom he saw Seraffo looking at themself in the mirror, a look of horror on their face.

"What, what's wrong?" Dante asked scared that they might have hurt themself.

"My Halo! It's gone!" they shouted in horror pointing to the top of their head. Dante followed their finger and realized that they were right there was no Halo over their head.

At the crash site

An Imp woman in a long black coat moved aside some rubble and underneath they found a black ring that produced a faint glow.

"Well, what do we have here?" she said picking up the Halo and sticking it in her coat. Walking away from the crater woman got in a black car and drove away.

The woman eventually drove out of Imp City, making her way through Pentagram she eventually reached a large manor that sat on the northern outskirts. Getting out of her car she walked up to a large set of double doors and knocked, the door opened and there stood a sinner woman she had light pink skin, and her long wavy hair was the same color, she had ice blue eyes, which burned right through the Imp in front of her.

"Hola Regina, I am back and ready to report to our Lady," the woman said. Regina stepped aside and allowed her to enter.

Following the Sinner through the manor, she was eventually led to a long hallway, at the end of which was a set of doors. Making her way down the hall the Imp woman stopped and knocked on the door, and then waited.

"Come in," a voice said from inside, opening the door the Imp woman stepped in and saw a large serpentine woman sitting at a desk, the Imp immediately got on one knee averting her eyes to the floor. The one who stood before her was Hekate queen of witches and Prime Minister to Lucifer himself and one of his most trusted confidants.

"What have you learned Jane?" she asked, her voice cold sending a shiver down her back.

"Your suspicions were correct my Lady it was an Angel who crashed into Hell," reaching into her coat Jane pulled out the Halo and showed it to her Lady.

Hekate's eyes went wide upon seeing the glowing ring, using her powers she snatched it out of her hands and then sent Jane an angry look.

"Get out," Hekate said with finality, the Imp quickly left the office, disappearing in nothing but a blur of red and black.

Hekate stared down at the Halo, it had been centuries since she had seen a Halo, not since she was still an Angel in Heaven. She still remembered the day she left, how she removed her own Halo and handed it to her brother. The thought of her brother caused several conflicting feelings to course through Hekate's mind. Anger, betrayal, sadness, loneliness, happiness, and finally love. Yes, she still loved her brother and missed him dearly, suddenly an idea came to mind, Hekate looked down at the Halo and smiled.

"Don't worry Raz I'll see you again soon enough," she said her eyes beginning to glow an ominous yellow.

Wednesday morning,

Dante dug through the rubble; he had been searching for the past hour, but he still hadn't found the Halo. Seraffo freaked out when they realized that they had lost their Halo, and started screaming and crying, talking about how they were doomed when Adam and Lute found out they'd kill them.

"They'll have me sharpening weapons and cleaning the team's laundry for a year!" he remembered them shouting. Their panicking was starting to draw attention from his neighbors so to calm them down Dante promised to go out and see if he could find it.

That is how he ended up back at the crater digging through the ruble and wreckage hoping to find some big ring in a massive pile of rubble, which is like finding a needle in a haystack. Dante continued to shift through the rubble, moving chunks of asphalt and concrete, and trying not to slip on the loose ground around the crater. After about another hour Dante finally gave up, odds are some scavenger probably found it and traded it for some meth. The idea that the people of Hell knew it was an Angel that crashed in Imp City made Dante shudder, it would not be good for anyone if word got around.

"Hopefully they won't know what the Hell they've found," Dante mumbled to himself as he made his way back to his apartment. Suddenly his phone started to ring, pulling it out of his pocket he saw it was Blitz.

"Hey Blitz, what's up?" Dante asked.

"Hey, where are you it's time to go?!" Blitz shouted; Dante smacked himself; he forgot to call out sick again.

"Ohh uh sorry Blitz I can't come to work I'm still really sick," Dante explained trying his best to make himself sound sick and congested.

"Ohh for fuck sake are you serious?" Blitz asked sounding annoyed.

"Yep, unfortunately, in fact, I'm probably not gonna get better for a few days," Dante explained beginning to cough heavily, trying to sound like a man dying of Tuberculosis.

"Alright I get it, just… call when you start feeling better," Blitz said sounding disgusted by the coughs, before hanging up.

Dante smirked and put his phone back in his pocket.

Dante's apartment building,

Dante walked down the hall towards his door and standing out front was a large Hellhound standing in front of his door. The Hellhound was named James he was a very large German Shepard-looking Hound who once ran with a gang in the neighborhood before Dante wiped it out, he thought about killing James but decided to let him live, he now works security in the neighborhood.

"Hey, James any issues?" Dante asked as he approached the Hellhound.

"Nope nothing sir," he said leaning against the door looking kinda bored.

"Alright good, you can head home now," Dante said gesturing to the elevator, James nodded and made his way down the hall.

Stepping inside he saw Seraffo sitting on the couch, they jumped when they heard the door open but relaxed when they saw it was Dante.

"Did you find it?!" they asked frantically shooting up from their seat.

"No, I'm sorry," Dante answered.

"Did you look hard?!" they asked, grabbing Dante by the collar of his coat only for them to let go and grasp their left arm in pain.

"I looked all over, and your Halo is nowhere to be found. I'm sorry," Dante said, putting a hand on Seraffo's shoulder.

"Oh fuck, oh, fuck, oh fuck I'm dead, I'm so fucking dead!" Seraffo cried sitting down on the couch, head in their hands.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, kid what's up?" Dante asked sitting down next to the Angel.

"You don't get it," they muttered Dante though he could hear them sniffling.

"Then how about you enlighten me," Dante said sitting down next to Seraffo, who took a deep breath then began to explain.

"Our Halos are the symbols of our divinity and our connection to the Lord on High without them then we are fallen, we are disgraced, and if Adam and Lute find out I lost mine they'll fucking kill me!" they shouted, beginning to hyperventilate, Dante put his hands on their shoulders.

"Look kid calm down you crashed into Hell you broke your wing and sprained your arm no way in hell they'd blame you for the loss of your Halo after that right?" Dante asked, his voice reassuring, the look Seraffo sent him was all the confirmation he needed.

"You're kidding me?" he asked, yeah, he figured Adam and Lute were dicks, but he didn't think they were that big of a dick.

"They're very strict, any sign of weakness is not tolerated, like a few years ago there was this one lady her name was Vaggie-" the said the name with soft a soft G

"Wait, wait, Vaggie, really?" Dante interrupted, sending them a look.

"I didn't pick it… anyway Vaggie was one of the top Exorcists she had a kill count higher than anybody else but one extermination she was caught showing mercy to a Sinner so Lute attacked her cut off her wings and took her Halo leaving her to die here in Hell," Seraffo explained, to say that Dante was shocked would be an understatement.

I figured they were cruel but to mutilate and cast out your best fighter just for showing some mercy is just… wow, Dante thought to himself but was pulled away from his thoughts when Seraffo started hyperventilating.

"Whoa, whoa, kid calm down I know you're scared but there's no need to be, yes your bosses might be a little mad at you for losing your Halo but hey you're a kid, a trainee, I'm sure they'll go easy on you," Dante stated in a reassuring voice, but from the way Seraffo looked at him it was clear they didn't buy it.

Later that evening

Dante sat in the living room violin case beside him. Seraffo was in his room, they had been panicking for the past six hours, Dante tried his best to get them to relax but nothing he did helped. He tried kind words, he tried food, hell he even tried good wine, but unfortunately, none of that worked, so finally he decided that if none of that worked maybe music would help. Opening the case Dante pulled out his violin, checking to make sure it was tuned and once satisfied he held it to his shoulder and began to play.

The sound of music moved throughout the apartment eventually traveling to Dante's room and getting the attention of Seraffo. Lifting their head from a pillow Seraffo sat up and made their way into the living room and they saw Dante sitting on the couch playing a violin. Listening more closely, Seraffo realized that they recognized the song he was playing and began to sing.

"Amor"

"Amor"

"Amor, Amor"

"Dov'è, dov'é la fé"

"Ch'el traditor"

"Ch'el traditor"

"Giurò"

"Fa che ritorni il mio"

"Amor com'ei pur fu"

"O, o tu m'ancidi ch'io"

"Non mi tormenti più"

"Damn kid I didn't know you liked opera," Dante said stopping the music. Seraffo stopped singing and looked at the Imp embarrassed.

"Ohh uh no, I don't like opera," Seraffo said a blush spreading across their face.

"Then why did you just sing an opera song?" Dante asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I… um just heard the song one time and it got stuck in my head," the Angel stated crossing their arms, Dante sent them a look and they just sighed.

"Ok fine you win, I like opera okay, happy now?" Seraffo stated, putting their hands on their hips.

"Hey, no need to get mad I wasn't judging you I love opera too, what I want to know is why were you so embarrassed to admit that?" Dante asked, confused, as to why the kid didn't want to tell him their interest.

"Because Adam says Opera is for whiney little pussies," Seraffo explained, Dante frowned.

"What kind of music does Adam listen to?" he asked annoyed.

"He prefers rock and roll," Seraffo explained, Dante rolled his eyes.

"Look kid just because your boss doesn't like Opera doesn't mean you don't have to, you can like whatever kind of music you want and you shouldn't let others tell you what you can and can't like," Dante stated placing a hand on their shoulder.

"Huh," Seraffo said looking down at the violin.

"Now how about we continue?" Dante asked, picking up the violin, and beginning playing, Seraffo smiled and continued to sing.

Outside

Standing outside Dante's building a large demon in a suit of black armor wearing a black and red ring stood in the street with Seraffo's halo in his hand. He has been searching for the owner of this halo for several hours, an angel's halo glows when near its owner he had been moving through the crash area and it had finally started glowing near this specific building. Pulling out a pair of binoculars he began looking through the various windows of the building, and he was quickly rewarded when he saw an Imp singing with an Angel. Putting away the binoculars, the Knight pulled out his phone and made a call.

"Lady Hecate, I've found the Angel," he said, then put his phone away and headed down the road.

Thursday morning,

Dante sat on his couch drinking from a bottle of red wine, Seraffo was in the shower, waiting for them to finish so he could look at their wing and arm. Their injuries were healing nicely Seraffo had regained feeling in their arm, and while the wing looked better, they still couldn't fly yet. Dante once again called out sick at work, Blitz was pissed but hey they could manage without him… hopefully. Dante finished the bottle of wine and then incinerated it, hopefully, they will be done soon.

Outside Dante's apartment

Loona walked down the hall towards Dante's apartment big container of chicken soup, her boyfriend had been seriously sick, and she wanted to check in on him and hopefully make him feel a little better with a nice meal. As she reached for the knob someone else's hand came into contact with hers, looking up Loona saw none other than Verosika Mayday in a trenchcoat and sunglasses.

"What the- Verosika why the fuck are you here!?" Loona asked the popstar, getting somewhat mad assuming that Dante invited her over.

If he asked her over, I'm gonna rip off his dick, the Hellhound thought to herself angrily.

"I heard that Dante was sick, so I thought I'd be nice and come check in on him," Verosika explained.

"I'm guessing you had the same idea huh?" she asked looking the Hound up and down.

"How'd you find out?" Loona asked annoyed.

"Blitzo posted about him being sick on Sinstagram," the Succubus explained holding up her phone to show her the post.

Wait why is she following Blitz- you know what never mind, Loona thought shaking her head.

"Well come on we can have some fun," Verosika said lowering her glasses and sending Loona a saucy look, Loona blushed but before she could say anything Verosika knocked on the door.

The door opened a crack, and Loona could see Dante looking out at her through the crack his eyes going wide in shock.

"Loona what are you doing here!?" he asked, his voice sounding confused and worried.

"I'm here to check in on you babe," Loona said with a smile, put off by Dante's response to seeing her.

"It's not just her I'm here too!" Verosika said pushing the door open and entering Dante's apartment, Dante looked at the Succubus popstar in shock.

"Why the hell is she here?" Dante asked Loona as she entered the apartment and put down the soup on the coffee table. As she did, she noticed that Dante didn't sound very sick like he did over the phone.

"She found out you were sick and invited herself over," Loona explained taking a closer look at Dante and saw he looked fine.

"That's right and when I learned you weren't feeling too good, I decided to come and make you feel better," she said taking off her coat and glasses revealing a sexy nurse outfit, Dante and Loona both blushed.

"As nice as that is I think you two should leave before you two get sick too," Dante said faking a cough, Loona wasn't convinced though, it was around that time she noticed the shower was running.

"Hey, do you have someone over?" Loona asked looking over at the bathroom, Dante gulped.

"Is whoever's here down for a foursome?" Verosika asked looking at the bathroom as well.

"Uh no- nope no! No one here just me, myself, and I," Dante stated nervously, getting between the two ladies and the bathroom.

It was just then that the bathroom door opened and Seraffo stepped out wearing a robe with holes cut into the back so their wings could stick out and stick out they did in full display of Loona and Verosika. The two demons just stared at the Angel, none of them saying anything, for several moments before Loona finally broke the silence.

"Uh, Dante Hun?" Loona asked in a shaky voice.

"Yes, Loona?" Dante replied to his girlfriend.

"Who's this?" the Hellhound pointed at the Angel who was starting to edge behind Dante.

"This is my… niece," Dante answered cringing internally at the bad lie but couldn't come up with anything else.

"You're niece?" Loona asked looking at Seraffo, then at Dante.

"Yes," Dante said abruptly.

"Even though she's an Angel?" Loona asked.

"Yes," Dante said again, sticking to the lie.

"How the fuck can you have an Angel for a niece?" Loona asked starting to get annoyed.

"Hey, what can I say my bro really gets around," Dante explained, letting out a nervous laugh. Verosika and Loona obviously didn't believe him.

"When would you're brother have a chance to fuck an Angel?" Verosika asked, taking a closer look at Seraffo.

"Uhh during an extermination," replied to the Succubus pushing her back upon noticing how uncomfortable Seraffo was.

"Look I'm not buying this, so Dante why the fuck is there an Angel in your apartment?" Loona asked sternly, crossing her arms and glaring at her boyfriend.

"Uhh, well, I… I," suddenly Dante reached out and grabbed both Loona and Verosika by their hair and slammed their heads together. The two demons immediately fell to the floor unconscious, Seraffo looked at Dante stunned by the sudden act of violence.

"What the fuck was that!?" Seraffo asked scared.

"Sorry I panicked," Dante said looking down at the two unconscious demons. Dante pondered for a moment before suddenly having an idea.

Picking up Loona, he laid her down on the left side of the couch, he then scooped up Verosika and laid her down on the right side.

"What are you doing?" Seraffo asked confused by what their caretaker was doing.

"Trying to cover this up, now go to my room and don't come out till I say it's ok," Dante commanded Seraffo nodded and went to Dante's room.

Ten minutes later

Loona woke up with a killer headache, she sat up rubbing her sore head with her left hand.

Fuck this is worse than the hangover from my twenty-second birthday party, Loona thought to herself as she tried to deal with the pain. Suddenly Loona's attention was pulled away by the sound of groaning looking to her right she saw Verosika sit up on the other side of the couch.

"Satan dammit how much did I drink last night?" the pop star asked rubbing her temples.

"Ahh you two finally woke up," a nasally voice said looking to her left Loona and Verosika saw Dante standing by the wall and he looked terrible.

Dante's hair was frayed and messy, his eyes were sunken, and he had a sickly pallor. Dante blew his nose into a tissue and then proceeded to emit several wet coughs.

"Ohh shit dude you look terrible," Loona said standing up before immediately sitting down and rubbing her head.

"Fuck why does my head hurt so much?" Loona asked no one in particular.

"Ohh, I know why, when you too came in you tripped and as you fell you dragged Verosika down with you, you both then bumped your heads against each other and passed out," Dante explained in a scratchy voice.

"That explains the bump," Verosika said ribbing the left side of her head.

"Look ladies now that you're both awake, can you please leave, I'm really sick and I don't want to get either of you sick," Dante explained coughing loudly.

"Oh, my Satan, you are so sweet," Verosika said, standing up and walking over to Dante, kissing him on the cheek.

"Feel better handsome," the popstar said picking up her coat and sunglasses and heading for the door. Just as Verosika left Loona also stood up and kissed Dante this time on the top of his head.

"See ya later my love," Loona said making her exit. Once he was sure they were both gone, Dante sighed in relief.

"Alright, you can come out now," Dante shouted. Then Seraffo left his room and entered the living room.

"Who were those ladies?" Seraffo asked the Imp.

"The Hellhound is my girlfriend Loona, and the Succubi is just some skank I hooked up with once," Dante explained no longer sounding sick and nasally.

"Wait the succubus looked familiar I think I saw her on a billboard once," Seraffo muttered rubbing their chin in thought.

"Well, they're gone, so how about we eat?" Dante said, holding up the container of soup Loona had left them.

Thursday afternoon

Dante and Seraffo sat in the living room both eating the soup Loona brought, the soup was good, with Dante and Seraffo each savoring its great taste.

Wow, this is pretty good Loona obviously didn't make this, Dante thought to himself eating another mouthful of soup. As they were eating there was a sudden knock on the front door.

"Who could that be?" Dante asked, putting down his soup and heading to the door. Opening it Dante saw a large burly Imp standing before him, the Imp looked at Dante with a stern look on his face.

"May I help you?" Dante asked, looking at the Imp suspiciously, an uneasy feeling growing in his gut.

"Is your name Dante Alighieri?" the Imp asked, his voice deep and scratchy.

"Who wants to know?" Dante asked discreetly reaching into his coat to get his gun, unfortunately, this was noticed by the Imp.

Bursting through the door the Imp tackled Dante to the floor and began to punch him, Seraffo screamed. Dante took a few blows before blocking one of his strikes and hitting the Imp in the face. The man was sent back a foot, sitting up he looked at Dante surprised he did not expect him to have such strength. Glaring at the black-haired Imp, the assailant stood up and pulled out a knife and charged at Dante. Moving quickly, Dante dodges the attacks but bumps into his coffee table and stumbles to the ground. Before Dante can get up the Imp lands on top of him slamming his knee into his gut and knocking the wind out of him. Bringing his knife down towards his chest, Dante barely had time to grab his wrists and stop him from delivering the killing blow. The Imp pushed down harder trying to get the knife down into Dante's chest, Dante tried with all his strength to stop him but the pressure on his stomach was making it hard for him to focus.

CRASH the assailant screamed in pain as Seraffo smashed their bowl of soup against his head. This blow gave Dante an opening grabbing the knife from his weakened grip Dante plunged the blade into his attacker's throat. The Imp let out a yelp of surprise that quickly devolved into bloody gurgles, his eyes rolled back into his and he fell forward onto Dante.

"Holy fucking shit," Seraffo muttered under their breath as they stared down at the corpse. Pushing the body off of him, Dante stood up and looked at Seraffo.

"We need to move, quickly," Dante explained moving closer to the angel.

"What why?" Seraffo asked confused, not sure what Dante was talking about.

"Because I don't think this fucker was alone his buddies are probably on their way," Dante explained glaring down at the dead Imp.

"Wait what's going on?" Seraffo asked, still confused by this whole mess, unsure what was happening.

"You've been discovered," Dante stated bluntly.

"Wh-what?" Seraffo asked but they felt that they already knew what he meant.

"Someone found out you're in Hell and they found out that I'm housing you and now they've come to collect," Seraffo went pale with the realization that all of Hell was probably gonna come after them now all came crashing down on them.

Losing their balance Seraffo almost fell to the floor but was grabbed by Dante who proceeded to drag them to his room. Once inside his room Dante took off his trenchcoat and handed it to the young Angel, he then dug through his closet pulled out a baseball cap and tossed it to them.

"Put these on," Dante ordered. Seraffo complied, putting on the hat and then the coat. They cringed as they folded up their bad wings.

Dante then changed into his human form and put on a pair of sunglasses. Seraffo looked at the demon in surprise. They didn't know demons could make themselves look human.

There's something vaguely familiar about him, Seraffo thought as they took in his appearance. At that moment Dante reached into his closet and pulled out a white hoodie and quickly put it on.

Digging around under his bed Dante pulled out three things, first Seraffo's busted mask, next was their bow, then their quiver of arrows.

"So that's where you hid them," Seraffo exclaimed smacking themself in the forehead for not thinking of it sooner.

"Alright let's go," Dante stated heading out of his room and dragging Seraffo behind him.

"Where are we going?" they asked as they followed Dante out of his apartment.

"There is no time to wait for your wing to heal we need to get you out of Hell now, and I think I know just the place," Dante explained.

Outside the apartment

A car stopped at a red light the occupant was a scrawny Imp man smoking a cigarette, suddenly the driver-side door opened, and the Imp was yanked out and thrown to the street. A man in a white hoodie and an individual in a black trenchcoat and hat climbed inside and then took off at high speed. As they sped down the road several black cars pulled out of the alleyways and began to pursue.

"Target locked and in pursuit," one of the drivers said into a walkie-talkie.

"Excellent," a large figure in a black suit of armor said from the back seat of one of those cars.

Ten minutes later

Dante drove down the highway at high speed, dodging cars and nearly crashing several times, Seraffo clutched their seat a look of utter terror plastered on their face.

"Can you drive a little slower?!" they asked, terrified.

"Sorry but we need to get to the Heaven embassy before those cunts catch up," Dante explained. The Heaven Embassy was just what it sounded like it was Heaven's main embassy in Hell it's where Heaven and Hell would meet for official business. It was the only place Seraffo would be safe, unfortunately, it was literally in the middle of Pentagram City.

As they drove down the highway Dante looked in the rearview mirror and saw several black cars come up awfully fast.

"Fuck get ready things are about to get rough," Dante said as he looked at the cars.

"You mean this isn't rough?!" Seraffo asked terrified, they let out a scream as one of those cars slammed into the back of the car.

Reaching into his hoodie Dante pulled out a pistol, stuck his upper half out the window and fired three shots. The first two shots bounced off the hood but the third smashed through the windshield and hit the driver. The car swerved and crashed, and another car came up on the passenger side and slammed into Dante's shattering the passenger side window, Seraffo screamed as glass shards flew through the air.

"A little help?" Dante asked the Angel, looking down at the bow and arrows in their lap. Acting quickly, Seraffo knocked an arrow into their bow, aimed at the car, and fired.

The arrow hit one of the front tires popping it, the car swerved and crashed into another car. Smiling Dante slammed down on the pedal going as fast as the car could go. As they moved, they left the remaining cars far behind them.

In the main car

"Sir their getting away!" the Knight heard over his radio.

"Let them get away I have a pretty good idea where they're going," he ordered, putting away his radio and looking down at his phone there was currently a twenty-car pile-up at the end of this highway, the knight smiled under his helmet.

Back to Dante & Seraffo

Dante slammed his foot on the brakes and the car came to a sudden halt, Seraffo nearly slammed her face into the dash.

"Cazzo!" Dante shouted slamming his fist down on the steering wheel.

He looked up at the massive pile-up there was no way they could clear that mess and with cars in front of them and more cars coming in behind Dante couldn't turn around. Seeing no other option Dante got out of the car and signaled for Seraffo to follow.

"What are you crazy?" the young Angel asked the demon as he stepped onto the street.

"There's no way past this pile up now come on," he demanded gesturing for her to get out.

"B-but I'm an Angel, if these Sinners see me," they explained scared.

"I know but keep your disguise on and your arrows handy and we should be fine," Dante explained, Seraffo gulped hid the arrows and bow in the trenchcoat, then got out of the car and followed Dante down the sidewalk.

As the two made their way down the sidewalk they were repeatedly accosted by various demons, all asking or offering different things.

"Hey, need a fix I got the good stuff right here?"

"Hey, looking for a good time? Only twenty souls,"

"Hey man spare a few souls?"

Dante just ignored them, pushing past every one of them and continuing on their journey. Looking down at his phone Dante saw that the Embassy was only twenty minutes away, as long as they stayed on the main road. But as if by luck several large and scary-looking sinners stepped into their path.

"Hey, their pal whatcha doin' crossin' into our territory?" a large lizard Sinner asked glaring down at Dante and Seraffo.

"Just passing through, we mean you no trouble," Dante said trying to calm the situation.

"Ohh, we believe ya but to cross through our turf you gotta pay the fee," a mangy Coyote Sinner stated moving next to his boss.

"Fee?" Dante asked looking at the mangy mutt.

"Yeah, anyone who wants to cross through our territories gotta pay a fee to the boss here," he explained gesturing to the big lizard.

"Yeah, and the fee is a thousand souls, so pay up," the Lizard stated holding out his hand.

"Sorry buddy but I don't have a thousand souls on me," Dante explained suddenly more gang members came out of the shadows and began to surround them, Seraffo moved in closer to Dante discreetly reaching into their coat for their bow.

"Look shit stain, either you pay up or else," the lizard explained leaning in so his face was inches from Dante's.

"Listen buddy I'm trying to be nice but how about you back off before I kill you?" Dante replied not intimidated in the slightest by the Lizard or his disgusting thugs. Suddenly the lizard and his thugs all started laughing.

"Kill me really how do you plan to-" the gang leader was cut off by the angelic blade being buried into his neck.

Moving quickly Dante ripped the dagger from the Lizard's throat and threw it into the chest of one of his thugs. Dante then proceeded to pull out a gun and shoot four others. Seraffo acted as well pulling out their bow and shooting the coyote and three others, not in any vital spots though only leg and arm wounds. Once the ones in front of them had been cleared, they ran down the street Dante pulled the dagger from the dead Sinner's chest as he did so. As they ran Dante looked over his shoulders and saw that the other gangsters were giving chase. While he was distracted someone reached out from a nearby alley and punched Dante in the face, knocking him to the ground.

"Dante, ahh!" Seraffo shouted as a large demon reached around and grabbed them in a bear hug.

"Well, well, look at what we got here," a skeevy-looking Sinner said eyeing Seraffo in a perverted manner. Acting quickly, Dante noticed an old chain lying on the ground.

Grabbing it he tied the chain to the hilt of the dagger and swung it towards the two sinners. The dagger flew through the air slashing both the pervs and Seraffo's kidnapper's throats. Standing up Dante saw the rest of the gangsters catching up waiting for them to get closer. Once within range, Dante began to spin like a top causing the tethered dagger to fly through the air and cut off the heads of several gangsters. Watching in horror at the site of their friend's corpses falling to the ground, the survivors turned and ran in the other direction.

"Alright, let's keep moving," Dante said, wrapping the chain around his wrist. Seraffo nodded, and the two continued down the street.

Several yards from the Embassy.

Dante and Seraffo ran down the street, the Heaven Embassy right in front of them, Dante had never seen the Embassy before it stood out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of Hell. The building resembled a church with a large clock tower, with a large hourglass built into it. The building was a bright white and gold instead of the typical red and black of the rest of Hell. As the Angel and demon approached the building, several black cars suddenly pulled up in front of them. The car doors opened and out stepped several Imps and Hellhounds all armed with various weapons, and towering above them was a large burly figure wearing a full suite of black plate armor.

"Hide," Dante ordered Seraffo, the young Angel nodded and quickly took off down an alleyway.

It was then that several Imps armed with swords and axes, drawing his chained dagger Dante quickly launched the blade at one of the Imps but they dodged it. Dante then yanked the chain drawing the dagger back the blade it then sliced the Imp's jugular artery. He then pulled the chain again causing it to move to his right and slash the throats of the other Imps. more demons began to charge in Dante began taking them out with a combination of an Angelic dagger, plus his pistol. Seraffo also took part in the fight providing support for Dante with their bow taking down several demons with well-placed shots to their arms or legs. At one point, an Imp fired off a shot that knocked Dante's pistol out of his hand, but that gun wasn't the only weapon in his arsenal after Dante generated a ball of dark purple fire and tossed it at the Imp. upon making contact the dark flames swallowed the Imp and were quickly burned away, Dante followed this up with several more fireballs sending more and more demons to oblivion.

"Enough!" shouted the knight. The remaining Imps and Hellhounds froze and looked towards their leader, who began making his way to Dante.

"I'll handle this myself," He said menacingly reaching behind him he pulled out a very large axe, the edge of the blade was lined with heavenly steel which meant any demon struck with it, especially a Sinner would be erased.

Having to be careful, Dante thought to himself concern for his safety and Seraffo's.

As he looked over his opponent, Dante noticed a black ring clipped to his waist. The ring had a dull white glow. It took Dante a moment to realize that the ring was a halo—not just any halo but Seraffo's.

"So that's where it went," Dante muttered upon realizing what it was.

It was just then the Knight charged at him and brought his axe down, moving quickly Dante dodged the attack the axe slamming into the street and cracking the pavement as if it was made of glass. This knight was extremely strong, he could crush him if given the opportunity, Dante had to be quick and avoid his reach. Moving quickly Dante ran toward the Knight ducking under the blade of his axe, Dante drew his dagger and attempted to stab him in the gut, but unfortunately, the dagger didn't make a dent in his armor.

Figured his armor would be too tough but it was worth a shot, Dante thought before quickly retreating to a safe distance.

The Knight slowly made his way to Dante. He was strong but his heavy armor made him slow. As he approached the Imp a holy arrow slammed itself into the side of his helmet, turning his head, he saw Seraffo knock another arrow into their bow and fired. This arrow harmlessly struck his armor like before. The Knight made his way to Seraffo who fired three more arrows, none were able to penetrate the large Sinner's armor. Seeing him approach the young Angel, Dante looked over the knight hoping to find some kind of weakness as he did, he noticed a weak point, a gap between his chest plate and codpiece. Moving quickly Dante ran up to the Knight and drove the dagger between the gap in his armor.

"AARGGHH!" the Knight screamed as the blade dug into his side, hitting Dante. The Imp was sent flying through the air. As he flew, Dante regained his bearings, spun, and finally landed on his feet.

"Huh, not bad. I can see why my Master tried to recruit you," the Knight said, impressed by the wound on his side and the blood on his hand. Dante wiped blood from his nose and then took a fighting pose.

The Knight yelled and charged at Dante swinging his axe, Dante generated a ball of Hellfire and launched it at the Sinner who deflected the attack with his axe. Swinging his chained dagger Dante launched the blade at the sinner's feet. The Knight sidestepped the blade, and then Dante maneuvered the chain to the left causing it to wrap around his right leg. With a quick tug, the Knight lost his balance and fell to the ground. Smirking, Dante recoiled the chain grabbing the dagger into his left arm. Running forward Dante kicked the Knight in the head knocking his helmet off and revealing him to be a boar demon, Dante then swung the dagger down aiming for the demon's forehead. Just as the blade was about to make contact there was a sudden white flash, then the dagger and Dante's left arm fell to the ground. Dante looked down at his left arm and saw everything below the elbow was gone, while Dante was caught up in the shock of having his arm amputated the Boar punched Dante in the gut launching him back to the ground. The Knight stood back up and made his way towards Dante, towering over him the Boar smiled down at him before raising his axe ready to finish him off.

Seraffo watched in horror as the Knight prepared to strike down their savior. Panicked, Seraffo looked down at their quiver and saw that they only had one arrow left. Knocking it, Seraffo aimed. This was the last arrow they had to make this shot count, or else they and Dante were dead.

Dante held the bloody stump that was his left arm, obsidian blood gushed from the wound and oozed out from between his fingers. It has been so long since the last time he had his arm cut off he forgot how much it hurt. Looking up, Dante saw the Knight raise his axe ready to bring it down on his head and send him into utter oblivion.

I've been looking forward to finally reaching oblivion but not like this, Dante thought to himself closing his eyes as he braced for the strike.

THUNK

The strange noise was followed by an intense scream, opening his eyes he saw an arrow sticking out of the Knight's eye with a surprised look on the rest of his face. The Knight dropped his axe then reached up to his face, before collapsing to the ground dead. The remaining Imps and Hellhounds all looked on in shock at their leader's corpse.

"Dante!" turning his head Dante saw his young charge running towards him, a look of concern etched onto their face. As they approached, they knelt to get a closer look at Dante's injury.

"Oh, fuck Dante are you ok!?" they asked staring down at the bloody stump.

"Yeah, I'm good just bring me my arm," Dante explained pointing to the spot where his severed arm lay.

"Seriously?" they asked as they looked at the limb in disgust.

"Just do it," Dante ordered, Seraffo stood up and made their way to the severed limb which was still clutching their dagger.

Picking it up gingerly the Angel carried the appendage back to Dante once they were close enough, Dante snatched the limb and held it up to the stump. It was then the limb began to reattach itself, Seraffo watched as bone knitted, nerves and veins reconnected, and skin and flesh fused back together.

"There that's better," Dante said moving his left arm in a circular motion, it was almost as if the limb was never removed, much to Seraffo's shock.

"How did you…?" Seraffo asked but their attention was taken away from their question when they saw Dante knelt by the Knight and pull something off their corpse.

"Here you go," Dante said handing them a strange object, looking closer Seraffo noticed it was their Halo.

Squealing in delight Seraffo grabbed the Halo and put it over their head, a warm satisfied smile appearing on their face. Unfortunately, this happy moment could not last forever as the remainder of the Knight's forces started to approach. Dante took a fighting stance preparing to fight the remaining forces, but before they could get any closer a bright light pierced the red sky. The demons stopped in their tracks and saw five Exorcists descending towards them. Shrieking in terror the remaining demons turned and fled getting back in their cars and driving off. Once the exorcists landed, they made their way to Dante and Seraffo, Dante took a fighting stance but Seraffo smiled and ran toward them.

"Lute, guys you came!" they shouted in excitement as they approached their fellow Angels, but stopped when they saw the stern look on their superior's face.

Care to explain what the fuck is going on here?" The lead Angel, Lute, Dante was guessing asked glaring down at Seraffo.

"Uhh, what do you mean?" Seraffo questioned, shrinking under Lute's disapproving look.

"This! What is the deal with all these dead demons, why did you allow such a mess to occur right outside our Embassy!?" Lute asked gesturing to all the corpses around them.

"I- I'm sorry I was trying to get back to Heaven, but on my way to the Embassy some demons saw me and attacked!" Seraffo explained nervously, but from the expression on her mask, it seemed that Lute did not like this answer.

"And why might I ask why it took you so long to get to the Embassy, why didn't you just fly here?" Lute asked sounding more and more frustrated with the younger Angel.

"I- I would have but my wing's broken!" Seraffo explained, taking off Dante's black coat and showing off the damaged appendage.

"That shouldn't have been a problem a true exorcist should be able to lose a wing and still be able to get up and quickly return to duty," Lute chastised their subordinate showing clear signs of disappointment, Seraffo looked to the ground in shame.

"I must say you've been a huge fucking disappointment, almost as big a disappointment as that Vaggie bitch," Lute continued their rant, Seraffo looked hurt, and Dante thought he could see tears forming in their eyes.

"I should just take you're Halo and wings and leave you-"

"Okay, that's enough!" Dante shouted making his way towards the bitchy Angel. This outburst got Lute's attention; she turned in the direction of the interruption an expression of anger clear on her mask.

"And just who the fuck are-" She stopped dead in her tracks when she looked upon Dante. Lute stood up straight, the angry look replaced by a look of fear.

"L-lord Christ what- what are you doing here?" Lute asked Dante mistaking him for Jesus Christ. Dante was confused at first but decided to roll with it.

"I'm here because I heard one of our brave Exorcists was stuck in Hell, so I decided to check up on them, only to find you their leader needlessly berating them," Dante stated sending Lute an annoyed look the Angel gulped under that look.

"B-but sir they," Lute tried to explain but was cut off when Dante raised his hand.

"But nothing, this child crashed into Hell and broke their wing, and instead of helping them you start acting like a mother yelling at their kid for sneaking out past curfew," Dante chastised, walking over to Seraffo and putting a hand on their shoulder.

"And despite all of that they were able to make their way back to the Embassy fighting through dozens of powerful demons with nothing but a bow and dagger!" Dante explained discreetly handing Seraffo back their dagger. Lute and the other Angels looked to the ground in shame.

"I get you're the leader of the Exorcists, but a true leader helps their subordinates and rewards them for their success they don't yell at them for their perceived failures, you've never seen me yelling at Peter or my other disciples have you?" Dante asked the Angels.

"Answer me!" Dante commanded.

"No sir!" all five answered in unison, Dante smirked.

"Alright now that that's over why don't one of you help the kid back to Heaven," Dante ordered, one of the other Angels nodded and made their way to Seraffo putting their arm over their shoulder. But as they did, Seraffo pulled away, ran over to Dante, and hugged them.

"Thank you," Seraffo whispered into their ear.

"No problem Ragazzino," Dante whispered back returning the embrace.

Letting go, Seraffo made their way to the Angels, who took them and carried them up into the air. Just then, a portal opened, the six Angels flew through, and then it closed. Letting out a loud sigh, Dante picked up his trench coat and put it on, then reverted into his demon form.

"I think it's time to lose the beard," Dante muttered to himself rubbing his face as he made his way back to Imp City.

Hekate's Manor

Hekate let out an intense scream of rage and slammed her fists down on her desk causing it to shatter into splinters. Hell's Prime Minister was furious, she had been watching the whole situation through a special viewing mirror. She watched as not only had the Angel, her ticket to getting her brother back get away, but she watched as one of Lucifer's best Knights was slain.

"Luci's gonna be pissed, if he ever takes his time away from those fucking rubber ducks of his," Hekate muttered under her breath. Sitting down in her chair, Hekate rubbed her temples trying to fight back the coming headache.

After several minutes she made her way across the office towards her liquor cabinet. Opening it she pulled out a glass and a bottle of top-quality Beelzejuice.

Beelzebub is a spoiled, childish brat, but she makes good liquor, Hekate thought to herself as she filled the glass and took a long drink. Putting the now empty glass down Hekate looked up at the ceiling.

"I'm sorry Razz, I guess it's gonna be a little longer," she said fighting back tears.

Epilogue

Seraffo walked through the Exorcist barracks, they had just come from the medic and had gotten a new cast on their broken wing. Seraffo was happy to be back in Heaven away from all the dirt, filth, and psycho murderers that filled Hell, but despite all the awful stuff they saw Seraffo knew that not everyone was terrible. As they made, their way back to their room they saw someone approach them, they were a very tall burly man wearing the LED mask of the Exorcists with two large horns that curved back.

"Adam Sir!" Seraffo saluted as their leader came towards them.

"Hey, bitch I heard you got stuck in Hell and had to fight your way through a fuck ton of demons with a broken wing," Adam exclaimed an excited smile on his face.

"Yes, sir that's… true," Seraffo replied it wasn't completely true they had help from Dante who did most of the fighting, but they weren't gonna tell their boss that.

"Man, that's fucking awesome! You are totally coming with me on the next extermination! Congrats bitch," Adam stated patting Seraffo on the back the young Angel cringed in pain, but Adam didn't notice their discomfort. After that Adam started to walk away but suddenly stopped and turned back to face Seraffo.

"Hey, how the fuck did you end up crashing into Hell anyway?" Adam asked, wondering what it was that brought down one of his soldiers.

Seraffo stopped and pondered that question, what did bring them down they honestly didn't know. The last thing they remembered was that they were on patrol over Hell then suddenly they were hit by this red and black… thing, then woke up in Dante's apartment. Seraffo continued to wonder what had happened, and Adam eventually started to get bored.

"You know what I don't care," turned around and left, sighing in relief Seraffo made their way back into their room.

Sitting on their bed Seraffo looked down at the floor and saw their empty quiver, they were gonna need to get more arrows. As they looked away from the quiver something caught their eye, picking the quiver up they saw that there was something inside. Reaching in Seraffo felt something like a piece of paper pulling it out they saw it was an envelope. Looking at the front they saw that something was written on it.

Another chapter done, sorry that it took so long to post this one, I've been really busy lately with both work and personal issues, plus I've been suffering from a bad case of writer's block. I will try to get the next chapter out sooner, thank you all for reading! PS The song that Seraffo sang was Lamento Della Ninfa written by Claudio Monteverdi.
