New York light brightly under the night sky with the sound of cars and people echoing through the city earrings its name as the city that never sleeps, stood on top of a sky scraper a teen looked down at the city growling as his piercing ocean blue eyes scanning the streets below.

he work a white trench coat with a hood that covered his white hair with black streaks two white tiger ears poking through with the back of the trench coat split all the way up to his waist for his white tiger tail that sawed a few times, the trench a white tank top with a tiger tooth necklace, he wore a pair of white combat camo pants, black fingerless gloves and black combat boots.

He was slender but fairly built and his tanned white skin was tatttoed all over his body with black strips with the exception of his face, hands and feet, his ability's consisted of a healing factor that was just shy of wolverine's, enhanced strength, agility, reflexes, senses, retractable claws and fangs though they where still quite pointy even when retracted.

This Teen and his tribe where the sole protectors of the African jungle the originates from until they where hunted to near extinction with the exception of himself as the sole survivor, Before he left after finding everyone he loved butchered he vowed to hunt down and kill the man responsible... Sergei Kravinoff or better known as Kraven the hunter.

Every lead that he found while hunting Kraven kept pointing to one place... New York, everyone who tried stopping him on his path for revenge knew him under one name Ghost Tiger but those who had helped him knew him as Clay Carter.

"Grrr where are you Kraven, I know your scent there is no where you can hide" Clay growled as he had just been to another abandoned warehouse with the slight faint of Kravin's scent but was soon ran cold.

Letting out a roar in frustration that echoed through the buildings which freaked a few people out as they looked around thinking that a tiger was on the loose but quickly when about their evening seeing there was no danger, Clay looked away and rand across the roof jumping to the next one as he made his way through the city he was tired, hungry and annoyed.

Clay had been in New York for about two weeks and only seemed to have come across minor hints that Kravin was in the city, pushing Kravin to the back of his mind right now he had to find a place to stay for the night.

Ghost Tiger was about to jump over and alley was but his left ear twitched at hearing the screams of a woman and a little girl and was about to turn and leave but he stopped himself, Remembering what his father once told him about their tribe being protectors to all living things. Clay thought about it for a second before growling and gracefully made his way down into the alley way before dropping down on to the concrete floor with his eyes closed, he was fully crouched down with his hands by his feet.

Three armed thugs one of them have a gun and the other two have bats, had cornered the mother and daughter and where laughing at the terror in they eyes of the two females but suddenly became startled and turned around as one of them spoke "oh great it's the Spider!"

Clay started growling bearing his fangs as his retractable claws came out he opened his eyes and told up, all they could see was a black figure with what looked like glowing blue eyes they took a step back and another one spoke "I don't think that's the spider!"

"Who cares I'm gunna waist him" the thug with the gun said as she shot at Clay on for him to dodge and dash at them on all fours as he let out a roar.

As Clay ran at them he dodged did to side then jumped on the wall pushing off and pounced at the one with the gun diffing his claws in the thugs shoulder causing the man to screen in pain, letting out a roar as the hit the ground, Clay pushed off the man with his hands jumping high in the air as he flipped over the other two as he growled.

As he came back down he dug both his claws in their backs scratching down on the as they came to there knees, The thug on the left tried to swig his bat at Clay who bought it and caught it in his hand before crushing the bat easily then flipped back as he was on all fours again defensively in front of the parent and child growing has he watched the three carefully as they stare at him in fear. This wasn't a person they are up again... it's a beast... they managed to get to the feet in fear only for Clay to roar and pounce at them again.

The Mother shielded her daughter eyes as she watched this person leave the three thugs beaten and bloody full of claw marks, she looked at the unconscious men then up at Clay who was staring at them from the corner of his eye but didn't turn to look at them directly. Clay could smell the fear on them and to help them feel more at ease he dropped his killer aura and his eyes became gentle as he started purring, this seemed to work in the past for people he saved in the jungle but could tell the mother was still un easy at the bloody body's.

"Don't worry they will live, I make it a habit not to kill unless necessary but you safe now you should go" Clay told her gently as his tail swayed, his left ear twitched as he could hear sirens coming closer and closer.

The woman looked at her daughter who was still scared but smiled knowing she was ok and when she turned to thank Clay she was shocked to see that he was already gone, She got up and quickly picked up her daughter hugging her tight as three police cars came and parked at the entrance to the alley.

Clay watched as the police came running to the woman and check on the men he could hear her telling them everything that happened from them getting followed by those three and trying to hide in the alley to her telling them about Clay saving them, Clay sighed so much for keeping a low profile he took one last look as he smiled before leaving running off on all fours jumping from building to build as he went to find a place to spend the night and maybe find some food on the way.

Ava Alaya or better known as her hero name White Tiger woke up like any other morning on the Helicarrier, she woke up got showered and started her morning exercises and thankfully it was Saturday so she can go straight into the training room and start training. Ava didn't hate school quit the opposite she was top of the class and excelled in every subject but she loved to keep honing her skills, her pride for perfection wouldn't let her slow down as she had to be to keep her tiger side in control.

White Tiger had finished her morning work out in her quarters and left for the cafeteria in her hero costume deciding to get some breakfast before she goes for her training, it didn't take her long to get there as she knew the Helicarrier inside and out walking through the door she saw her teammates Iron fist (Danny Rand), Power man (Luke Cage) and Nova (Sam Alexander) at a table.

Ava sighed as she save both Luke and san pigging out while Danny just drank a couple of tea while reading the Daily Bugle, grabbing some cereal she poured herself a bowl and made her way over to her friends taking a seat next to Danny across from Luke and Sam.

(Danny seems like the type of guy who would read the newspaper)

"Morning guys" Ava said as she lifted the bottom of her mask over her nose and started eating which they each replied happily "What's that your reading Danny, Webs getting the rate of Jonah again"

"No actually and this might interest you Ava" Danny told her as he showed her the news article about Clay.

"Really wha-" Ava stopped herself as she snatched the paper out of Danny's hands and started reading.

The title of the paper read 'ANOTHER WHITE TIGER?' With a picture of Clay but it's too dark to see him properly especially his face as he was fighting a few thugs, it went on to talk about how he left his victim barely alive with claw marks and beating, it also went on to describe him from people he has saved but no one can get a good look at him to give a proper description just that he has white tiger ears and a white tiger tail. Ava couldn't believe it was someone trying to steal her gimmick as well as put out a bad name on the White Tiger, something didn't feel right to her and she needed to find out what.

"Looks like you got some competition Ava" Luke told her which annoyed her.

"I don't like how he handles things leaving these criminals on the edge of life and death" Danny added in as he crossed his arms.

"Eh who cares he isn't killing anyone and he's saving people makes our job easier" Sam said between munches as the three other heroes starred at him "what"

Ava however stayed quiet as she looked at the photo again pulling her mask down she got up then jumped over the table "I gotta go speak with Nick Fury"

The three boys watched her run off confused then looked at each other then shrugged go about there breakfast, Ava however made a b-line for the control room at top speed dodging SHIELD agents. It didn't take her gong to get there and once she was through the doors she saw multiple screen showing the Daily Bugle article, information on a Ghost Tiger with multiple different sketch drawing from different country on what he looks like some more disturbing than others which the last screen showing the outline of the teen in the photo with a question mark and finger print ID coming up as unknown, Location unknown and abilities unknown.

Ava walked up to Nick as she took in all the information, leave it to Nick fury super spy to be already on this "Director Fury can I ask you a few things about this Ghost Tiger"

"I know what your going to ask and No I don't think this is related to your family" Nick Fury told her as she sighed in relief "With that said I do think is powers are similar if not the same to yours with the exception of the tail and ears, it's also possible someone tried to replicate your powers and in doing so the side affects might be the tail and ears as well as the brutal nature towards he sees as an enemy"

"If you would allow it Director Fury may I have permission to track him down I would like to find out for myself what this guy is about" Ava asked as she waited for the ok, Nick thought about it for a second then nodded.

"Fine and if you find him bring him back here for questioning" Fury told her as she nodded and ran out as Coulson walked up to Nick.

"Was that wise Sr? We would send the whole team with her" Coulson asked worried for the teen's safety, she was going in to face an unknown.

"That would only cause more problems, hopefully White Tiger can bring this guy in peacefully and sending them all together could make him feel cornered and trapped" Fury told him then looked at the monitors "They say he fights like a wild anime so we have to assume that's what he is, I want to be in constant communications with White Tiger as well as visuals"

"Yes Director Fury" His crew told him as they got to work.

"I want to know who this Ghost Tiger is"

Clay sat inside an abandoned apartment complex he couldn't do much through the day with risk being seen but was at least happy that this place had running water so he could get clean though their was no hot water but it didn't bother him, being raised in the jungle he didn't have the luxury of hot water and electricity for that matter. Seeing the sun go down he grabbed his coat and jumped out the window grabbing the fire escape on the next building he knew he had to be more careful, he was starting to be noticed and that's the last thing he needed at that was for Kraven to know he survived.

Clay ran across two building before stopping completely as he pulled his hood down a bit more over his face as he sniffed the air, Someone was tracking him and but the cent wasn't vicious and odly familiar to the females from his tribe but off deciding here is not the best place to potentially break into a fight he took off towards Central Park. In the few weeks he's been here he knows there are less people in the park at night but he might as well try to lose them, taking off at full speed he jumped from building to building his movements and acrobatic looked very animal like and to his surprise e this female was nearly keeping up with him.

Making a decision to get a look at this female he jumped down into an alleyway instead of dropping down to the ground he hid under the ledge of the building under the ledge of the building as the female jumped down past him once she got on the ground she looked around confused, Clay could tell she was young no older than himself but he couldn't be too sure as she was in a full white tiger suit from head to toe with a black pony tail he only guessed from build, height and scent as elders tend to have a more aged aroma.

Clay studied her carefully as she looked around its true that she smelt similar to his clan but that's where the similarities ended, finally getting a good look at his hunter he decided it was time to leave but before he did she sniffed the air then looked up directly at him then growled at him. Clay growled back before flipping back on the roof and took off again, back to his original plan of leading her back to the park.

Ava looked back up at him and growled at him before seeing him flip back onto the building and take off but this time was different she had a strong fix on his scent, all day she spent going from one abandoned area to another picking up little fragments of his sent until she got a strong scent then saw him leap out the window. Making her way back up the building she looked around before seeing him pitch on a ledge a couple building over staring at her but all she still couldn't get a good look at him, growling again she charged forward jumping from roof to roof.

"White Tiger what's the hold up" Nick spoke from her wrist communicator.

"He's well trained Sr and fast have you been able to get visuals of him" White tiger asked as she flipped over another alleyway while looking at Nick Fury on the tiny screen.

"Do you need back up" Nick asked but Ava felt like she had to do this, shaking her head No "Right well I'll leave this to you then"

Ava put all her focus into catching up with Ghost Tiger as she was still a few building behind, what she wouldn't live for Peters web shooter right about now she thought as she watched him jump of and down the building. White Tiger jumped across the next few building she skidded to a stop as she look over seeing him run on all fours in north woods, flipping down she chased after him jumping of a lamppost in a tree.

Ava jumped from tree to tree till she slowed down enough to land on the ground coming to a stop as she landed with her legs bent, scanning the area she got up and walked a couple steps sniffed the area but her face was full of shock as his sent was everywhere it was like he was in multiple places at once while surrounding her. Ava heard the growl of a tiger and stayed on her guard but like the scent the growl seemed to be coming from all around, she let out her claws ready for an attach any second.

Clay watched her carefully as he stalked her from tree to treen not making a sound but his growls to keep her at bay but his growls turned to words not friendly but not aggressive "Why are you tracking me? What do you want?"

"Can we talk face to face I just want to ask you a few questions" Ava replied with the same tone of voice trying to sound as mural as Clay.

"How can we talk face to face when you wear a mask" Clay replied as he shifted his position to keep his presence hidden "what's your name?"

"You can call me White Tiger" Ava told him as she turned around.

"I asked for your name not what you are" Clay replied slightly amused at this.

"That all your getting until I know I can trust you" Ava said as she turned around again still unable to locate him.

"Fair enough" Clay replied it was a fair statement and he couldn't argue with it.

"Look I don't want any problems can we please talk in person I like being on even plaything field when I speak to someone" Ava waited for a reply and it took a good minute for him to reply to her.

"Fine" Clay told her as he jumped down out of the tree behind her games first and stayed in the crouched persition as in the shadow with his blue eyes the only thing to be seen, Ava turned around seeing his eyes as they went up till Ghost Tiger was stood up fully then steps out the into the moon light taking of his hood as his tail waited and right ear twitched lightly "here we are on even playing field now why are you tracking me"

Ava looked at him casually, he stood slightly taller that her at 6'0 to her 5'7, slender fairly built not quite Luke but more than Peter and the last thing she thought was dam he's hot, shaking her head "What are you doing here?"

"I'm... Looking for someone" Clay replied carefully but there was still venom in his words.

"And who might that be?"

"I don't think that had anything to do with you"

"If you going after someone to hurt them or worse then it has everything to do with me"

"This particular man deserves what's coming to him" Clay growled back and Ava was right I was a tiger she heard.

"No one deserves death" Ava replied but didn't sound convincing as Kraven popped into her head and it boiled her blood.

"Your lying can smell your anger this man hunted my tribe and as the sole survivor and when I find him I'm gunna rip his throat out with my teeth" Clay told her growling as he said the last part bearing his fangs.

Ava eased up for a second two things popped into her mind first was his tribe, so that ment he wasn't a clone or an experiment and second that caught her attention was he didn't say killed he said hunted did he mean... "What was the man name that hunted your tribe"

Clay could smell the anger and aggression on White Tiger but it was aimed at himself thinking for a second the mentally agreed "Sergei Kravinoff..." Ava eyes widened when he said that name "Aka Kraven The Hunter"

Ava retracted her claws as she looked at him with sympathy which shocked him as he retracted his own claws as well as his fangs, Ava looked at him and started thinking that they both ended up in New York for the same reason "I know what your going through my father was killed by Kraven as well"

Clay looked at her with shock as she told him that and he sent her a caring look then spoke "Your father must have bin a brave warrior for Kraven to target him I was also not aware that there was another tribe besides mine"

"Oh no our ability for the white tiger is passed down from generation to generation where not a tribe, so are you the only one in your tribe with these abilities"

"No my hole tribe where like me where born like this thanks to the tiger god blessing my ancestors though they weren't all trained in hunting and combat like I was as the next chief I had to prove I was the best" Clay told her with sadness but remained strong.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry I was just curious so where did you come from"

"The African jungle my people where the sole protectors of the jungle well before Kraven"

"Amazing your English is superb it almost sound like your from Brooklyn"

"My father was actually from Brooklyn he was accepted by the tiger god and transformed into one of us so he could marry my mother and I can speak seventy three languages including different animals fluently"

Ava and Clay spoke for the good portion of an hour she had taken off her mask understand him more now that they have talked, as Ava was very fascinated with Clays back story and abilities that where same as her own and even exceeding them but that could have been down to how he was raised, she found out that he is quite a calm and collected person but his pride and obsessive nature has been a problem in the past however if angered or provoked you could find your self on the other end of his claws. As savage as he might be in a fight Ava could see that he held life as a sacred thing and would only kill if absolutely necessary, White tiger respected that as she believes the same thing and did voice her opinion about how he's been leaving criminals other than that she didn't see anything bad about him.

"So Ghost Tiger is that your name or what I never asked your name" Ava asked him as she didnt get his name yet.

"I'm pretty sure I asked for yours first and Ghost Tiger is just what people started calling me probably because of my tattoos"

"Wait you have tattoos?" White tiger asked with shock.

"It is tradition that when a member of the tribe has come of age at the age of fithteen they get their stripes covering there body" Clay told her as he took his coat off and the tank top as he showed her all his tattoos the only place that wasn't was his chest and belly once he was done showing her his tattoo's he put his tank top back on then his coat "Was there anything else you need from White Tiger if not then I will take my leave"

Ava grabbed his arm and pulled him back as he was about to walk away "Actually there is someone that would like to meet you"

Clay looked at her hesitantly he still wasn't too keen on people knowing about him "I dunno White Tiger I would prefer to be left alone to my mission"

"I promise this place we are going to there sworn to keeping identity secret plus you will have a place to stay and food" Ava told his with a reassuring look and he couldn't smell any doubt on her plus his stomach kinda spoke for him he hadn't eaten in a few days.

"Fine on one condition" Clay told her which took her by surprise by Ghost Tiger had other plans for going with her, he might find a lead on Kraven while he's there.

"Ok name it" Ava said happily replied glad she could convince him to come with she didn't want to have to fight him after getting to know him a bit.

"Tell me your name"

"Oh sure my name is Ava Ayala and you"

"I'm Clayton Carter but everyone calls me Clay, Ava Ayala sush a beautiful name" Clayton told her with a slight toothy smile which mad Ava blush as her amulet glowed for a second without them knowing.

Ava thought back to this morning this morning and had no idea that her day would turn out this but she wasn't against it she just hoped everything would go smoothly with SHIELD.

Chapter 2 will take a little while as I'm working on the next chapter for both Destinies Entwined and Lion Hearts: Twisted Fate.

I know this is a tad shorter chapter than what I do for the others as they usually have a tad but longer but I don't want to throw too much into the first chapter I was more of a interaction between the two tigers.
