Hello everyone, here is another one shot

This is a small idea I had

This is set in modern time

Ace sighed as he had sent the message to his teacher, Mika, that he needed an extension on his paper, as he had been a bit ill and not been able to really write the last days, and just wanted an extra day, and hoped it was fine. He didn't write that he was sick, just that he asked for an extension for a day. As he had sent the message, he sat down in front of his TV and started Youtube and started to watch one of his favorite players that played games he enjoyed, and now he was playing a short game, but it was really nice. He was interested in how it would end. The name was The Last Guardian, and it was about this young boy who helped this sort of huge dog flying beast, but it was so kind and amazing. He loved it.

As he was watching, the end came, and he wasn't expecting the ending. It was a nice game, a lively one with cute characters, but the ending was really sad. They didn't see it, but he was sure the cute beast died after saving the little boy, which was the last thing he expected. And it took him by shock, as he was sure it would be a happy ending, not this, so he felt some tears go down his cheeks, especially when the villagers still were mad at the beast, which had saved the boy. But as he was watching the ending, his phone rang, and he took it up to send it to voicemail, when he saw it was the teacher. Oh damn, she was calling, he needed to answer. So he answered and did his best to sound calm. "Hello." He heard a breath. "Ace, why do you need an extension? You've had one week." Ace nodded. "I know, I know, but I was a bit sick and wasn't able to write, I'm sorry." He did his best, but his voice still broke a bit, and he cursed himself silently.

It took a second, but the teacher soon spoke. "Wait, you're crying? Are you stressed, Ace?" Ace shook his head. "No no! I was just a bit sick, and just needed a day." He heard a hum. "If you're stressed, just say so. I didn't mean to stress you, I know this has been a bit of a hard assignment. Take the time you need. Get it in by Sunday, okay?" Ace blinked. That was 5 days away. "No no, I just need until tomorrow, I promise." He heard a breath. "No, you are in practice too, take the time you need for the next few days, if you need more, be sure to call. Okay?" Ace sighed, but decided to just give in. "Okay, thanks." The teacher said it was fine, and then they hung up. Ace sighed, well, he had 5 days now, but he just needed one day, and would heed that. So he worked as he had planned, and turned it in by 6 the next day, as he had planned.

When he got the response on it, the teacher said it was well made, and glad he was able to finish so fast, even though he was stressed. It had Ace sigh. Now the teacher believed he was stressed, which he was not. He would do his best on the next assignments to show he wasn't stressed and try and speak to her again.
