The Quest Begins

It was a long trip for Gunther, Dragon, and Princess Lavinia.

Gunther and Princess Lavinia were riding on Dragon's back, all the while, Gunther was looking at the list of ingredients that was given to him by Sir Theodore.

"Gunther," Dragon asked. "what's the matter?"

"This list does not make any sense, Dragon," Gunther said. "I don't know what a bezoar is... let alone where to find one."

That was when Princess Lavinia had a bright idea.

"I have an idea for a substitution, Gunther!" the Princess of Kippernium exclaimed.

"You do, what is it?" Gunther asked the princess.

"I can see lavender! Quick, Dragon! Land down there!" Princess Lavinia called.

"Right, Princess!" Dragon called back.

Dragon dove down speedily, landing softly in the patch of lavender.

"Good eyes, Princess," Gunther said. "now, we'd better get picking."

Dragon, Gunther, and Princess Lavinia started picking lavender.

Back in Jane's room in Enchancia castle, Jane began to sing to Gunther.

Jane: Alas my love you do me wrong;

To cast me off discourteously;

And I have loved you so long;

Delighting in your company;

Gunther you are all my joy;

Gunther you are my delight;

Gunther you are my heart of gold;

And you who I love so dearly;

I have been ready at your hand;

To grant whatever you would crave;

I have both wagered life and land;

Your love and good-will for to have;

Gunther you are all my joy;

Gunther you are my delight;

Gunther you are my heart of gold;

And you who I love so dearly;

Well I will pray to God on high;

That thou my constancy mayst see;

And that yet once before I die;

Thou wilt vouchsafe to love me;

Gunther you are all my joy;

Gunther you are my delight;

Gunther you are my heart of gold;

And you who I love so dearly.
