The next day came by fast , I was a wakened by a knock on the stable door. I shoot up and Athena gives a hot breath snort of annoyance. I look towards the entrance of the stable to see Aragorn standing there with a smirk on his face.

" Goodmorning Crimson , Athena!" Aragorn says in a deep voice.

Athena lifts her head up alittle bit to look at Aragorn before putting her head down back and falling asleep again. I roll my eyes at Athena and her sassy behaviour towards Aragorn.

" Can I help you with something Aragorn?" I ask as I untangle myself from Athena's legs.

" No , I'm hear to tell you that there's a meeting of The Fellowship Of The Ring at high noon. Also I would like to invite you for breakfast with Arwen and I" Aragorn states as he steps closer but Athena's grunt of disapproval stops him in his tracks.

I put a hand on Athena's nose while looking at Aragorn " Easy Athena, He's a friend" I say to Athena through our mind link. " Oh and who's is this Arwen?" I ask Aragorn with a cheeky smile on my face.

Aragorn is quiet for a minute before answering my question " She's just a friend ".

" That was quite the pause" I teased him.

Aragorn gives me a look that says to leave it alone. So I drop the subject " I thank you for your offer Aragorn but I'm not all that hungry".

" I'v been told that you haven't eaten since you got here. You should eat Crimson, we start a long journey tomorrow and you need all your Strength" Aragorn says before leaning against a bale of hay and crossing his arms.

I sigh and cross my arms against my chest , starting to get annoyed " I haven't been hungry, my mind has been busy with other things and food is the last thing on my mind".

Aragorn stands and steps closer to me and puts his hand onto my shoulder " I know alot has happened to you Crimson but you are not alone" Aragorn says sincerely to me.

I step around Aragorn so now he is standing between me and Athena " What like I find Dragon egg , which hatches and Claims me as her rider. Now a dark source names Sauron wants to kill me , like how he killed all of the people that I loved because of it. Not mention what if not I'm not cut out to this so called dragon rider" I snap and rabbled on feeling myself getting out of breath.

Athena looks up at Aragorn and I " We'll learn together " I hear through Athena's and mine's link.

Aragorn lowers his hand from my shoulder " One day at a time Crimson. Now come ! its time for you to eat something" he says while leading me out of the stable.

" You weren't very much help " I mind linked Athena

" You need to eat , I'll be waiting here for you when you get back" I hear Athena chuckle into my mind link.

Time Skip

Its high noon and I just left Athena at the stables to attend the meeting of the Fellowship of the ring. I was nervous to say the least I know Aragorn but not the rest. Then again I barley knowen him for five days. After having breakfast with Aragorn and Arwen this morning, I got to know him a little bit better. I have to say that I think Aragorn and Arwen are little more than friends if you ask me.

When I get to the palace the guards bring me to a meeting room. The door opens and I hear an Argument happening inside the room.

" I hardly trust any of you , I certainly don't trust a dragon!. You know what Smaug did to the lonley mountain!" I heard a disgruntled man say.

" Master Gimli I suggest you quiet your voice . Crimson and Athena are different from Smaug, Dragon riders use to be protectors of middle earth you know that" I heard Gandalf say sternly to the man Gimli.

" No, Gandalf he is right plus she is a woman we don't have time for a woman. We have lots on our plate with protecting Frodo and making sure that the ring gets destroyed. She'll only be an distraction form our duty" I heard another man say.

I decide I heard enough and walked into the room. The voices in the room died down and soon a bunch of men were looking at me. Gandalf was standing at the head of the table that was in the middle of the room. The other eight man must be part of the fellowship of the ring. I notice that the Fellowship of ring was an odd little group.

" Ah Crimson please join us and let me introduce to the rest of the fellowship" Gandalf says with a half of smile on his face.

" I'm sorry for being late Gandalf I was told the meeting was at high noon". I say a little nervous that I was late.

" No need to worry Crimson your not late we were meeting before our meeting...Gandalf explains.

" Have a meeting about what ? ! if the meeting hadn't started yet?" I question.

" You , if we are being honest my lady " A man with red shoulder length hair says while looking around the room at the others.

" Why did I do something to earn distrust?" I ask the room , feeling disappointed that they didn't want want give Athena and I a chance.

" Well no lassy but dragons and dwarfs don't have good history" says the only one of the short men thats dresed in heavy armor .

He must be a dwarf I think to myself " I'm sure master Dwarf Athena won't do you any harm and I'll make sure so she doesn't even blow a puff smoke your way" I say with venom in my voice that matchs the rage that I'm feeling inside. We are not apart of his history's , why put all dragons in the same category.

" Hello lassy , I'm Pippin from the shire nice to meet you" says another short man but this time dressed in a vest and trousers. I noticed his feet are bare and large .

Soon three other men his size introduced themselves. One standing out as the ring bearer, he looked young but you could see that ring was putting great strain on him.

The rest of the Fellowship introduced themselves and the meeting went on and all I could think was , what did I get myself into.
