In the office of Malfoy Manor, the first sounds that could be heard were the soft creaks of the fire that was burning in the open fireplace. The subsequent sound that was heard was the scratching of the quill, which was being used by none other than Lucius Malfoy to write on a parchment.

A silence occurred in Lucius's writing as he leaned back against the velvet office chair and gazed out the large window that displayed his land and the horses that he had, who were grazing at the ranch that he owned just a short distance away.

He had tried to have more than one child, but Narcissa had been having trouble getting pregnant, and their attempts had been difficult and challenging. He had hoped for more than one child. The news that she had finally gotten pregnant with Draco caused both of them to feel apprehensive about the prospect of losing him.

As a result of the strain that the labor of the pregnancy had placed on Narcissa's body, Lucius had come perilously close to losing her. As a result of this, the two of them came to the realization that it was no longer worthwhile to continue attempting to have another child. Lucius placed a higher priority on the individual life of Narcissa than he did on the reputation of his family. It is a miracle that Draco was able to survive the difficult labor and delivery that she went through during her pregnancy.

Lucius gently gotten up from his seat on the velvet office chair and moved to the window. He was starring at the beautiful white horse that was grazing out in the field. He was lost in thought as he recalled the past as if it were yesterday.

The sound of a voice calling out his name from the fireplace jolted Lucius out of his thoughts and brought him back to the present moment. When he turned around, he was taken aback to see Sirius Black staring back at him via a fire call. What could Lord Black possibly want for him to make contact with Lucius for the first time in six years?

As Winky sat on the top of the Nara clan house, her thoughts were racing at a hundred miles per hour as she reflected on the things that she had overheard and been witnessing for the past month of her stay.

In spite of the fact that she is unable to find the opportunity to give Saturo the heir ring, she continues to carry it in her pocket. She still had not been able to find Saturo alone at all, either he was training with Lord Nara what was called the Nara clan's family abilities, or he was with his adopted brother Shikamaru and if Saturo was not in the house Saturo was at the Academy, to be learning how to become a shinobi of this village known as Konoha.

Winky was so frustrated that she practically pulled her ears out of her head as she tried to contain her screams of exasperation at the fact that something that was supposed to be simple turned out to be something that was so challenging to complete.

While Winky was sitting on the roof, she was so annoyed that she failed to notice Lord Nara walking up behind her. However, when she heard his voice, she leapt into the air so high that even the Lord took a step back.

"May I ask why you have kept yourself hidden for the past month?" In a slightly irritated tone, Shikaku inquired.

Winky reoriented herself and gazed at Shikaku for a brief moment. In a hurry, Winky apologized to Shikaku, saying, "Winky is sorry, sir. Winky has been trying to talk to Saturo, sir. Winky should deliver something that belongs to him, sir." Winky stated this in the hopes that Shikaku would not be anger at her.

There had been a lot of unusual occurrences around Saturo during the course of the previous month, and Shikaku's eyes narrowed significantly.

Saturo's first day at the Academy was the day he discovered that the instructors were being unfair to Naruto Uzumaki and that Ino Yamanaka was not taking her ninja career seriously which concerned him well enough to take his own actions.

Shikaku's own wife, Sarada, had been trying to dicourage from getting Saturo to study about the Wizarding World, despite the fact that she was aware that Saturo would be attending Hogwarts School when he was eleven years old.

And at this very moment, this creature, who goes by the name Winky apparently, has been making efforts to get in touch with Saturo in order to give something that obviously was from the Wizarding World.

"May I ask what it is you trying to deliver?" Shikaku inquired with a sense of unease.

"Saturo's heir ring from the Potter line is being delivered by Winky, sir," Winky said. "With the intention of preventing Saturo's sibling from assuming the role of being the heir of the family, his biological mother assigned Winky to carry out the task, sir." said Winky, aware that she had practically conveyed to Lord Nara that Andrew has been attempting to replace Saturo as the successor to the Potter lineage.

The reservations that Shikaku had gradually dissipated, but he continued to be cautious. "If you don't mind coming to my office we will talk about this in detail" Shikaku asked knowing very well that it was a poor decision to discuss this matter in public at the time.

Shikaku Nara was not merely renowned for his intelligence; rather, it was a quality that was shared by all members of the Nara family. When Shikaku found out that he would, in essence, be protecting a magical child in his home, he was well aware of the negative impact that this would have on his reputation.

When the letter from Hogwarts would arrive, Shikaku was already prepared on how to manage the suspicions, but he wasn't willing to play his cards this early.

The fact that a house elf was sending the heir ring of the Potter family was something that Shikaku had not anticipated, but it was also something that he could not resist giving to Saturo because, after all, it was Saturo's birthright.

The fact that Shinobi and the Wizarding World continued to have a strained relationship with one another, however Shikaku was also aware that he should not look down on a youngster simply because he possessed magic in his blood. There will be a time that Saturo Nara will be aware of his position in both universes, and it was up to Saturo to make his own choices independently later on which world he wanted to stay in.

The only thing that caused problems with Saturo's magical blood was Sarada. Don't get Shikaku wrong, he loves the women to death and would gladly protect her. Nevertheless, Shikaku had witnessed some things during the course of his marriage that did not align with his memories of the wife he knew since childhood.

When it came to the overall picture, Shikaku had the impression that he had forgotten something really significant. Shikaku recalled how pleased Sarada had been when Shikamaru was born, and how she had promised that she would raise Shikamaru with love and an open mind, and that she would also enable Shikamaru to make his own decisions. But the more he thought of it the more he couldn't understand why his wife was acting so... different.

As Shikaku was grasping for the memories of his wife, no one noticed that the most priced necklace in Shikaku's office was glowing up a sickly green color. No one knew that Sarada walked past the office and smiled sweetly at the glowing necklace before walked down the hallway as the aura around the necklace slowly fade away.
