It was break-time in the classroom, and Naruto was currently side-eye his absent-minded friend.
He followed her gaze and saw that she was looking at the game being played by najimi and her friends.
"Do you want to play game like them?" Komi jumped in surprise upon her friend's question before she nodded embarrassingly.
"Alright, we can play after-school. We can get agari, najimi and play in the rooftop." Naruto suggested to Komi.
The silent girl perked and jumped in excitement; she nodded eagerly with pop-upped cat ears.
Naruto had rubbed his eyes a little bit to see if his eyes were deceiving him, he squinted his eyes on Komi head and saw no cat ears.
Naruto rubbed his forehead before he just shrugged it off. "Alright, I'll go tell najimi."
Naruto walked over to najimi group and grabbed her by the head, much to literally everyone disbelief.
Naruto carried her out of the room, away from everyone, and placed her down on the ground.
"You heard what I said right?" Naruto asked the girl, having knowledge of her unique skill to listen to multiple conversations at once.
"Yep, and don't worry. I'll be there, okay." Najimi reassured her friend, promising to not disappear mid-game to do something else.
"Good." Naruto maneuvered his body towards the door, intending to tell Komi about the good news.
"Wait Naruto!" Najimi hurriedly called out to him before he could walk away, instantly stopping him and making turned back to najimi with a curious gaze.
"You have anything else to say?" Naruto raised his eyebrow while speaking to his friend.
"Can I bring some people along with me?" Najimi asked nervously.
Naruto narrowed his gaze onto najimi while letting out a deep sigh. "And why would you want to do that?"
"So Komi can make more friend with people." Najimi cheerful voice caused Naruto body to flinch a little.
"You do want Komi to make more friends, right?" Najimi asked with genuine curiosity, not just to spite her friend.
"Yeah…but I just don't trust your judgment." Naruto crookedly frowned while looking away from najimi.
"Hey, what that's supposed to mean?!" Najimi questioned with slight irritation in her voice.
"I want Komi to make friend with good people and your roster isn't exactly…adequate." The corners of Naruto mouth twitched as he spoke.
"I make friend with great people!" The childhood friend exclaimed as rage filled her lungs.
"You make friends with literally everyone." Naruto retorted back with a snarky tone.
"And besides, are you even sure there nothing wrong with them?" Naruto side eyed her with a suspicious glare.
"You can't still be mad with we about agari, are you?!" Najimi rage subsided a little, and a sense of guilt filled her heart.
"Yes." Naruto answered back to her with a straight-forward attitude.
His words had shot an arrow through najimi heart and caused to her to calm down from her anger.
"Look, I'm sorry but I didn't know about that little trait of hers." Najimi tried to defend herself as best as she could.
"Don't you have a notebook with all her personal information, how do you not know?" Naruto remarked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well…cause it was a super hidden private secret that I didn't know…" najimi voice whimpered as she spoke.
"Then can ensure that the people you want to introduce aren't the same as agari?" Naruto demanded with a stern gaze.
Najimi body went soft on her and caused her spine to fall downwards. "No…"
"Then this discussion is over." Naruto stated calmly as he began to turn back to the class.
However, he was once stopped by najimi. This time, the girl gripped onto his shirt and looked with pleading eyes.
"Please Naruto, let me do this." Najimi pleaded to Naruto as the best she could, her eyes red with worry and guilt.
"I truly do want to help Komi make friends, just give me a second chance." Her voice began to crack as she whimpered to Naruto.
Naruto heart began to ache as he looked at the disheartened form of his childhood friend and finally broke down.
"Okay, you can bring more friends." Naruto stated as he comforted the girl.
"Just please make sure they aren't as problematic as agari." Naruto sighed as he looked at najimi.
"Don't worry, you're not the only one who cares about Komi." Najimi said as she whipped away her tears.
"Alright, I trust you." Naruto nodded before he walked towards the door but stopped at the very last moment.
"And I'm sorry for being too harsh on you." Naruto apologized for his earlier behavior before walking into the classroom.
Najimi looked visibly shaken by the man words before she chuckled cheekily. "What a big tsundere."
"I heard that!" Naruto shouted from the room as he sent angry glares at najimi.
Everyone else in the room shook upon his roar and hid under their desk in fear, cowering before his anger.
Naruto ignored everyone reaction and just walked back to his seat in a grumpy mood.
'Who does she think she is, calling me a tsundere.' Naruto angrily though as he gritted his teeth just thinking of the word.
He was true to his nature and never hid his emotions from anyone, how could some like him be a tsundere?!
Naruto kept thinking of reason as to why he wasn't a tsundere until he felt his shirt being tugged on.
The whiskered man stopped his train of though and looked over to Komi to what she needs.
"Is something the matter, Komi?" Naruto asked with his eyebrow arched backwards.
"Is everything okay, you seem very irritated?" Komi hurriedly questioned as she looked worriedly at her friend.
"It nothing, just najimi being annoying." Naruto cleared Komi worry with a nonchalant expression.
"Oh, what did she do this time?" Komi expression changed from a worried one to a bored one upon hearing his words.
"It not really important anyways." Naruto waved it off since it didn't really have much effect on them if he said or not.
"What we should be more worried about the game we're planing." Komi expression soon peeked up and subconsciously moved her chair more to Naruto side.
"Do you have any thoughts about it?" Komi quickly asked with an eager expression.
"I was thinking of what kind of game we should play, I'm personally fine with anything your chose." Naruto asked as he rolled the choice of game to Komi.
"Uh…I don't really know many games." Komi embarrassingly stated as she covers her face with her notebook.
"Well, that might be a problem." Naruto anxiously said as he rubbed his chin nervously.
"Should I go to the corner store and just buy us a game?" Naruto turned his gaze to Komi, wondering if she was fine with that.
The quiet girl looked momentarily stunned by his words before she thought about his words carefully.
However, as she was deep in thought. In the corner of her eye, she saw waving to her.
She turned her eyes over and saw najimi staring at her with a reassuring smile.
the childhood friend began to move her arms widely through the wind before give a thumbs-up to her.
Komi looked confused by najimi words and wondered if something was wrong with her,
"It seems we don't have to worry about what game we have to play."
Komi turned her attention back to Naruto. "Why do you say that Naruto?"
"Cause najimi just told us she got it handled." Naruto calmly stated as he pointed to najimi.
"Wait, was that what she was doing?" Komi questioned as she brought what ever najimi was doing moment before.
"Yeah, she was using signs to tell me." Naruto said, fully being able to under what najimi was doing.
"Oh, I almost forgot. Najimi is going to bring some friend along with us. If that fine with you?" Naruto worriedly asked as he tuned his gaze over to Komi.
"Will they be anything like agari?" Komi hurriedly asked her friend with a trace of worry and hesitation in her eye.
"Don't worry, najimi promised me that she would be careful about who she was picking." Naruto reassured the girl with a confident smile.
"That's good." Komi sighed a breath of relief upon hearing those words.
"Oh, speaking of agari. Shouldn't go and invite her?" Komi questioned the man as she turned her head over.
Naruto looked rather stunned by Komi question and had beats of sweat coming down his face. "Can we not have her come, I really don't want that pervert with us."
"She our friend, this is the right thing to do." Komi boldly stated as she slightly glared at him.
"Komi, she your friend." Naruto retorted back to Komi with irritated attitude.
Komi looked angry by his words and placed her notebook down, she moved her hands and angrily twisted the man's waist.
She pouted while waving her finger up towards him.
"Come on, Komi. Don't be like that." Naruto anxiously said as he tried to reason with the girl.
But Komi was having that and just turned away him and refused to even look at him.
Naruto looked troubled the options before right now, both were bad but one clearly was much worse.
Naruto sighed before he made his final decision. "Fine, I'll go invite agari."
Komi face brightened up and she turned back to Naruto with a happy expression, she was so happy in fact that she petted Naruto on the head.
"Komi, can you please stop that?" Naruto mouth twitched a little as he looked at his head.
Komi shook her head immediately, she quite liked the feeling of petting Naruto head and wanted to do more of it.
Naruto face wrinkled upon her refusing. So after a few seconds of thought, he stood up and walked towards agari.
Komi looks sadden by his response and sulk in her chair with pout. Though, it only lasted for a few moments before she straightens herself up.
After-all, she could always just do it again another time. Komi chuckled evil as she though of all the time she could pet Naruto head.
A shiver went down Naruto spin as he walks to agari desk, he didn't know why but felt as if something evil had been unleashed onto the world.
He soon shook his head and dismissed it as just the cold air in the room.
After a few seconds, he made it to agari desk and stood towering over her.
"Hi-I Naruto, what ca-can I do for y-you today." Agari hurriedly asked with expectation filling her eyes.
"Well, you see Komi and I are thinking about playing some game up in…" Naruto tried to explain his reason for being here but interrupted by agari.
"G-g-games, are you an-and ko-Komi fin-finally going to pu-pu-punish me with whips!" Agari expectedly asked with hearts in her eyes and a huge blush forming on her face.
"What?! no! Me and Komi just want to go to the rooftop and play…" Naruto was dumbfounded by agri word and tried to reason with her but she was far too gone.
"Rooftop!! Is th-that whe-where you're go-going to ravish me and sh-show my nud-nude body to the sch-school." Agari excited exclaimed with a very lewd expression.
However, Naruto finally had enough of her nonsense and just chopped her head while screaming. "No!"
"Will you just listen to me!!" Naruto shouted as he tried to get his words through agari thick skull.
Agari quickly quiet down and stopped acting like the pervert that she was.
"Good." Naruto rubbed the bridge of his nose as he left out exhausted sigh.
"You see me and Komi want to hangout after school today in the rooftop. Do you want to join us?" Naruto asked with a clear tone.
"You're invite…me?" Agari seemed to look shock by his words and pointed at herself questionable.
"Yeah, we're trying to get as many as we can to hangout. So, you in?" Naruto continued to ask while rubbing his head.
"Ah…yeah. I'd like that." Agari nodded with as her body shook with excitement and nervousness.
"Alright, see you then." Naruto nodded before he headed back to his seat.
"Okay…" agari stated as her eyes drifted away into space.
This was the first time she had ever been invited to anything, she was both shocked by it and worry about how she was going to act.
She hopes the hangout will not turn bad for her…
"Alright, let get this hangout started!" Najimi raised her fist in the air as she cheerfully announced the beginning of the hangout.
She had gain mixed reactions from everyone, Naruto gave her the most blank expression while Komi clapped at her performance.
Agari wasn't focused on her and kept on looking around nervously at group, especially the two new people.
The first one was calm and somewhat mature young lady with medium brown hair, having two moles under her mouth and left eye.
She was wearing the standard school uniform but without the blue blazer and had her shirt untucked.
This was onemine nene and the one beside her was her best friend, kaede otori.
Otori had long black hair, that fashion into a low ponytail and a bow at the end. She wore the standard school uniform.
"So what games did you bring, najimi?" Naruto gave najimi a suspicious look, hoping that she didn't pick out an inappropriate game.
"Well, my dear Naruto. I brought the best game ever created." Najimi happily stated before pulling out the game. "UNO!"
Naruto eyes widen as he looked at the cards before him, his eyes filled with a rare trace of fear. "Are you crazy!"
The other occupants jumped up in shock after hearing the massive roar Naruto gave to najimi, unsure of why he was angry about the game.
"Why did you choose such a dangerous game for us to play! Couldn't you have gotten something more…kid friendly." Naruto asked with a troubled expression.
"It was the only game I had and Its very fun to play." Najimi nervously said, her eyes darting away from Naruto while she played with her fingers.
"Fun to play! You almost smashed a person head because of this game!" Naruto angrily reprimanded najimi.
"That was a long time ago, I more mature now and I won't do that again." Najimi tired to defend herself as best as she could.
"That was a month ago!" Naruto told the girl, reminding that it had not been long since it happened.
"We are not playing this game." Naruto stated, grabbing the deck of cards from najimi.
"Hey you can't do that!" Najimi stated, trying to get the cards back from her best friend hand.
"Yes I can." Naruto didn't want to play this game and kept it away from najimi hands.
"That's not your decision to make, it's a groups decision." Najimi stated, this was the backup plan she had come up with.
She knew very well that Naruto hated uno due to his violent history with the game but that wasn't going to stop from playing the game.
After all, uno is the most fun game she ever played and adds in a lot of drama along with it.
The game was perfect for her and she wanted desperately to play it, even if it meant going against her best friend.
"Like they would agree to play this horrid game." Naruto was confident that no wanted to play this and was about to leave with the game.
"I don't know, I wouldn't play something new." Nene looked at the card game with curiosity and wonder what all the fuss was about.
She very much knew about the reputation of the 'red devil', it was also why the card game peaked her interest.
For a game to make the 'red devil' angry and even fearful of it, then it must be one interesting and dramatic game to play.
Her curiosity was itching her to play it, like a cat scratching on the wall.
"Me toooo." Kaede look as the same though process as nene and wanted to see just what the game hold in store for them.
"I'm o-okay with pla-playing it." Agari also agreed with them.
She didn't do it because she wants to play the game but hoped that Naruto would be angry at her and would punish her.
"I would also like to play it." Komi nervously looked away from the betrayed looked she got from Naruto.
Naruto could not believe that these people would go against his words and try to play the game.
He looked like he was ready to rip them apart but calm down and sighed, he handed the cards back to najimi and sat down next to Komi.
Najimi jumped as she congratulated herself on winning while Naruto looked down in defeat as Komi gentle patted him on the back for comfort.
"Alright, you guys ready?" Najimi looked around the group as everyone held up their seven cards.
"Ready."
"Good. Nene, you go first and then we'll clockwise." Najimi stated as the game starts.
"Um, red 4." Nene hesitatingly placed down a card, unsure if she was doing it right.
Next it kaede turn but the girl just looked at her absentmindedly before looking towards the group.
"What doooo I do?" She asked with the same innocent expression as before.
"You have to place down a card with either the Same color or number." Naruto carefully explained to the girl.
"Ooohhh, okay." Kaede seemed to figure things out and placed down a blue 4.
"Oh, IT se-seems to be my tu-turn." Agari nervously looked at her cards before she hurriedly placed down her card, which was a blue 9.
"Blue 7." Naruto calmly stated as he placed his card down.
Komi thought for a moment about which card to choose until finally deciding on red 7.
"Red 2 baby." Najimi hurriedly placed down her card while simultaneously trying to hide her cards from everyone else.
"This game is…kind of peace actually." Nene stated in a mild form of shock as she placed down a red 8.
"Yeah, it starts out like that but it usually gets more competitive later on." Naruto calmly stated, he played the games lots of time and know how things go.
"Naruto is right, things get serious around the 4 or 5 cycle." Najimi was an experienced player and agreed very much with Naruto words.
"Also, it your turn nene." Najimi stated as she placed down a yellow 5 on yellow 7.
"Oh okay." Nene looked surprised at the speed of the game but quickly got over and looked at her cards.
However, she soon faced a problem. She only had one card that she could use in this situation and it was bad card.
Nene thought it about for a minister before she sent an apologetic look to Kaede.
"Sorry about this, Kaede." Nene reluctantly placed down a yellow plus 2.
Kaede stopped moving for a moment and slowly turned her head towards nene, a dangerous glint shined in her eyes as her hair shadowed her face.
"Hey, I said I was sorry so stop being childish!" Nene moved away from Kaede with cold sweat coming down her face.
The sweet girl didn't stay in her position for long and went to pick up her cards, allowing nene to sigh a breath of relief.
"Oh damnit." Agari cursed since she didn't have any yellows and reluctantly picked up a card.
"Reverse." Naruto placed down a yellow reverse as a glint of mischief flashed through Kaede eyes.
"Oh, come no!" Agari once again curse at the bad she was facing since she did get the card she wanted again.
"Plus 2." Kaede playful stated, placing down the yellow draw 2 while staring at nene.
"What the hell, Kaede!" Nene was outrage by the sudden betrayal of her friend and roared for answers.
"I'm just repaying the favor." Kaede simply said with a mischievous look, effectively shut nene up.
The once gentle figure scowled at the girl and drew two cards from the deck with a grumble.
"Now this is entertaining." Najimi chuckled at the chaotic lighting between nene and Kaede as she placed down her card.
Komi looked worriedly at the two girls as she placed down her card, wondering if this was a bad idea.
Naruto didn't at all looked effected by their squabble, he had used to this before when he played uno.
Though he hoped the game doesn't bloody and dangerous like the last time he played, but that wouldn't really happen at all.
The only reason why it turned bloody was the fact that he was playing uno with delinquents, not really a good idea at the time.
"Ohh, it's my turn agaiiin." Kaede cheered as she looked through her cards before she momentarily stopped for a second.
She took a couple of glances at her cards again before she raised her hand and drew a card.
He looked at the drawn card and placed it down, which turned out to be a blue skip.
Nene stared intently at the card before she turned her gaze towards Kaede, her eyes filled with a deadly glint.
"Soorrry." Kaede apologized as she playfully bonked herself on the head.
Nene narrowed her eyes at Kaede before she reluctantly turned away from her.
'It seems the games are getting heated.' Najimi mentally chuckled at the intense aura between Kaede and nene.
Najimi soon looked back at her cards since it was her turn, her eyes shook a little upon seeing that she only card that she could use.
"Sorry Komi." Najimi apologized as she placed down a blue plus 2.
Komi's body frozen a little as she stared blankly at the card before she slowly turned her head over to najimi with her darken eyes.
"Stop that Komi, it's apart of the game." Naruto bonked Komi on the head as he reminds her that this was only just a game.
Komi pouted but knew Naruto's words were right and reluctantly stopped, but she did still send dangerous glances at najimi while picking up her cards.
Naruto rolled his eyes at Komi immature behavior but did judge much since he was very similar to her when he first played.
"Sorry agari." Naruto stated but his expression said otherwise as he placed down a red plus 2.
"Whhhy." Agari whined as she picked up two extra cards, she now had the most the cards in the game and her changes of win were extremely low.
"My turrrrn." Kaede cheered, looking carefully at her cards for a moment before deciding to pick one.
Thankfully for nene, the card was a normal red 5.
Nene sighed a breath of relief, still feeling the terror of when Kaede kept placing special cards on her.
Nene smiled happily, placing down a green 5 and ended her turn.
"Damnit!" Najimi cursed herself as she careful remained her cards and found no greens at all.
She gritted her teeth in frustration but could do nothing but pick a card, silently ignoring the mocking expression Komi was sending her.
Komi puffed up chest as looked down at najimi with a condescending looking, she only placed her card after she done mocking najimi.
"Damnit again!" Najimi cursed upon seeing Komi place a green reverse on them.
She still didn't have a green on her and had to draw a card once again.
"Finally, revenge." Nene chuckled evilly, sending mischievous glares towards Kaede.
A chill sent down the innocent spine as she glances towards her friend, she prayed for whatever god out there to help her out.
But it seems that luck was not on her side.
Nene raised her card up and high before stalling it down on the stack, showing that it was a draw 4.
"Noooooo." Kaede jaw dropped as she looked in horror.
"Ha, suck it." Nene smiled victoriously as she looked down upon her fallen friend.
Never had she felt more satisfied and happier than she does now, the game was really getting to her.
"Um mi-miss nene, what's the c-color." Nene was pulled out of her glorious moment as agari called out to her.
"Oh sorry, the color is blue." Nene scratched her cheek in embarrassment.
"Great!" Agari cheered, finally being able to place a card after so long.
"Reverse!" Agari jumped up in joy as she proclaimed her card, unable to hide her excitement.
Kaede look stunned by her card before a dark chuckle escaped her laughter, smiling menacingly while holding a singular card.
"Pluuuussss 4!"
"Noooooo!"
Nene looked in horror at the displayed before her, never did she think karma would hit so soon and with her own trick too!
Kaede small laughter ranged in her eyes as her best friend sent victorious smirk like the one she had done before.
Najimi looked at the crumbling friendship before her, shaking her head in disappointment.
'How immature.' Najimi mentally sighed before she looked at the cards in her hand, a shit-eating grin shined on her face.
"Double skip baby!" Najimi loudly exclaimed, slamming down her two skips to the shock of her friends.
"What the hell!" Naruto slammed his palm onto the floor, his eyes staring at najimi. "You didn't say stacks were available in the game."
"I never said it wasn't." Najimi stated with a sly smile, her face sending mocking glances at Naruto.
A tick mark appeared on Naruto forehead as his eyes stare daggers at najimi, even Komi sent deadly threats with her eyes.
"You can't just decide that while we're already halfway through the game." Naruto stated, Komi nodded with him while the other three just stood silent.
"Hey, it's my deck so I get to choose the rules." Najimi shrugged nonchalantly, trying to hide the gloating grin on her face.
"Then why did you tell us from the beginning?" Naruto sent a serious glare at the girl as he questioned her.
"Oh, I just forgot. You know that I sometimes have a bad memory." Najimi looked sideways, whistling a happy tune.
Naruto eyebrow twitched in anger, his patience was growing thin and he was only a second away from reprimanding najimi.
Though, Komi saw this and gentle tugged on Naruto shirt. Her actions caught his attention and made turn his gaze to her.
Komi smile slight at his instantaneously actions before she got serious and shook her head at Naruto.
The blonde-haired man looked shocked and pointed his palm towards najimi in an exaggerated manner.
Komi understood what he meant but that did not deter her thoughts away and she still shook her head.
Naruto looked perplexed by Komi actions, unsure of what he should do for a moment, before he reluctantly sighed and sat down.
Komi lips curled up, her face shining brightly as she patted Naruto on head for following her words.
The other occupants in the rooftop all looked like they wanted to laugh but the dangerous glance from Naruto made them suppress their laughter.
'I knew it world work!' najimi mentally patted herself on the back, never expecting that her plan would work so well.
Though, she was still surprised at how Naruto simply compromised and followed Komi words without question.
The man had always come off as rule-breaker, and he was just like that since he started school to where he currently is right now.
He never followed anyone orders, may it have been from the teachers or even the police officers.
He would always beat them up if they tried to order him around like a dog or did something that he did not like at all.
So what made Komi so different…
Ah, questions for later. She had a game to win and it was currently her turn. She couldn't wait to rub it Naruto face after she wins, hahahah!
"Victory is mine!" Najimi proudly exclaimed as she slammed her blue 3 on the pile.
Komi narrowed her eyes at najimi, still annoyed about what happened earlier but she didn't do anything excessive and placed down her green 3.
"Uno."
The other player in the game turned their shocked eyes towards Naruto, a proud grin shining on his face as he held his last card.
"Bullshit, how could you only have one card left?!" Najimi clammed her palm down as she stared incredulously at her best friend.
"Maybe you guys just need to get your eyes check." Naruto didn't her question and just sent a smug look to najimi.
"You must be cheating!"
"No, I'm not."
"Yes, you are! Someone check if he is hiding cards in his body!"
Under the surprised and shocked looks of everyone, najimi jumped up from her spot and began to rummage around Naruto body.
"The fuck you are doing!"
"Looking for any hidden cards!"
"I don't have any so get off of me!"
Naruto looked annoyed by najimi actions. Taking her by the collar and placing her back in her original spot.
The childhood best friend sulked in her spot as she finally recognized the impending truth of the matter, she was going to lose.
"Alright agari, go." Naruto told the girl as he sat back down, wanting the game to continue on without anymore interruptions.
"O-oh, okay." Agari scrambled through her cards and looked for the best one to use. "Yellow 7."
"Oh nooo." Kaede cried out her grieves before she went and reluctantly picked up another card.
"Red." Nene calmly stated, placing down a wild card.
"Hmm." Najimi hummed as she immersed herself in her cards, wondering which one to use before she sent glances towards Komi.
"Komi, do you have any plus 2?" Najimi asked, getting confused looks from everyone and a sharp stare from Naruto.
"Komi, don't answer that." Naruto interrupted, sending dangerous glares at najimi and also worried looks to komi
"Komi, I have a plus 2 which means if you stack onto mine, we can effectively stop Naruto from winning."
"She is just trying to trick you Komi, she want to use you and win the game for herself."
"That wouldn't even matter, Naruto is already about to win. We need to stop him while we can."
The two childhood best friends bickered amongst themselves while Komi stood awkwardly in the middle as she contemplated on what to do.
"Komi, you have to work with me and help save this game!" Najimi tried to convince her friend with flames within her eyes.
"Everything is up to you now, Komi!" Najimi dramatically said as she slammed the red plus 2 down.
"Don't do it Komi." Naruto pleaded to the girl.
Komi fidgeted around in her seat as she stressed herself on what to do, staring at her card before she closed her eyes.
Naruto's eyes widened in fear and shock while najimi eyes were filled with excitement and delight as Komi placed her plus 2 down.
"YESSS!!" Najimi never felt so proud of herself like today, almost jumping in joy as she roared to the skies.
"Komi…" Naruto looked at his friend with his hands shaking, his eyes filled with shock upon seeing the huge betrayal from his friend.
Komi looked away from Naruto, her eyes filled with shame and disappointment to herself.
"Haha! Looks like you're not winning anytime soon!" Najimi gloated, her laughter echoed across the rooftop as she pointed to Naruto.
Though, soon her laughter stopped as her eyes widened upon seeing the last card Naruto had on him.
"No way…" najimi body trembled uncontrollably, staring in horror as Naruto placed down his final card.
"Looks like I won…" Naruto chuckled at his victory, but his laughter felt hollow and empty.
"Nooo!" Najimi screamed in horror, slamming her fist into the concrete as she tries to deny the reality before her.
'These two are taking it way too far.' Everyone collectively thought as sweat drops formed on their faces.
"Alright, should we start a new game now?" Naruto stated as his body changes from gloomy sadness to a his original calm and composed self.
"But aren't you still worked up about what just happened?" Nene asked, bewildered by the extremely changes in emotions Naruto displayed.
"Not anymore." Naruto stated embarrassingly, rubbed his cheeks as he looked away from everyone.
"Though, I am still annoyed that you betrayed me." Naruto irritatedly said, flicking Komi forehead as he stares dagger at her.
Komi was frozen still by Naruto words before she pouted and crossed her arms, looking away from her friend with a frustrated expression.
Naruto simply rolled his eyes and let out a small chuckle from his mouth.
In all honest, his previous actions were him filling immersing himself within the games and allowed for his emotions to get the better of him.
It was only after he won that he remembered that this was just a game and felt embarrassed by his overreactions.
"So, does anyone want to start a new game?" Naruto repeat his question, trying to diverge away from his previous embarrassment.
"No, let's keep going. I'm not stopping until I win second place!" Najimi got up and loudly proclaimed, if she could not win first the second shall do just fine.
"I'm fine with that. I still have some revenge I need to finish." Nene stared directly at Kaede as she said this.
"Me toooo." Kaede also stared back at nene, a silent war going on between the two as flames flared across their eyes.
"I a-also wouldn't mind if we con-continue playing." Agari voiced out her thoughts.
"What about you Komi?" Naruto turned to his quiet friend.
Komi thought for a moment before giving a thumbs-up.
"Alright then." Naruto shrugged his shoulders as he walked away from them. "If you guys need me, I'll be over here relaxing on my phone."
"Alright, do what you want." Najimi waved dismissively and immediately went back to playing the game.
Naruto rolled his eyes and laid down on the rooftop, taking out his phone to watch some good old videos.
"Are you guys done yet?" Naruto's slightly exhausted voice echoed as he laid his tired eyes on the group.
They had been playing the game for 30 minutes now and it didn't look like anyone was going to win anytime soon.
"Shut up Naruto, this is a serious game!" Najimi irritatedly stated, her eyes focusing on her cards and everyone else's cards.
"We ain't stopping until I beat her ass!" Nene shouted, she pointed to Kaede with an annoyed look.
"I can say the same thing to you." Kaede looked back at Nene with the same annoyance.
"I'm not going to lose this easily!" Agari shouted angrily, irritated by the fact that she had the most cards with 28.
Komi didn't look at Naruto at all, her dead and void eyes looking only at her cards and thinking about winning.
'Looks like I'm going to be here for a while.' Naruto mentally sighed, he laid back down and just went to sleep.
"Yaaayyyy!!!"
A sudden loud cheer echoed across the rooftop and broke Naruto's nap time.
Naruto got up with a surprised jump and looked towards where the scream came from.
His eyes grew surprised once he saw that agari was jumping in joy while everyone looked gloomy and defeated.
"Naruto, I won!" Agari happily stated as she ran over to Naruto with a proud look.
"Congratulations on your win, agari." Naruto looked happy for the girl and patted her on the head.
"Thank you." Agari accepted the pat with an extremely excited look, feeling both fulfilled and ecstatic.
"Alright, I'm going home now." Naruto yawned, he still felt like sleeping some more and wanted to go home now.
"Come on you two, let's go." Naruto walked towards the exit, calling out to the two.
"Yeah, I'm coming." Najimi reluctantly got up from her spot and walked behind Naruto with a sullen look.
Komi soon followed behind them with the same sullen look as najimi.
"See you guys next time." Naruto said goodbye to the three.
"I hope to see you soon!" Agari was the only one that said goodbye back, the other two were depressed over their defeat and stared at the floor with darkened eyes.
This concluded the Komi first hangout, gaining two more friends, Kaede and nene, and being able to experience a whole new game, uno.
Though, I don't think Komi was all too satisfied with the result of the game at all.
