Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I do not own Percy Jackson; all rights go to the almighty

Rick Riordan.

Percy's pov: I lunged for a trash can sitting nearby and shoved it under Annabeth.

She heaved and began to throw up. I reached out and pulled her hair away

from her face, just like my mom would do for me. Then I saw something that sent a chill down my spine. In the middle of all the vomit, there were little red specks. Blood.

This was bad. Really bad. She started to sob "Annabeth, it's ok, let's get you to the

big house," I said in a soft voice, hoping not to upset her more than she already was.

She nodded and got to her feet. I turned to open the door when she said "Percy" in a

faint voice. I spun around just in time to see her pass out. I ran toward her, maybe I

could splash some water on her face, after all, I am the son of Poseidon. I bent down

and felt her neck, she was burning hot. And then I realized she wasn't breathing.

"Annabeth, wake up," no use. I can't let her die, I can't. "ANNABETH! WAKE UP!" I was

frantic. I scooped her up and started to run. Here's the thing, I have no mussels

whatsoever. I realized this as I was sprinting toward the big house. I staggered and

almost fell flat on my face. There was no way I could get Annabeth to the big house

in time. "Help! I need help!" I yelled, at first nothing happened, but then Will Solace,

Silena Beauregard, and Conor Stoll came running. "Percy what's wrong? Are you

ok?" gasped Silena. They're faces were red from running, "O My Gods." said Connor

"Annabeth" "I found her in her cabin. She is sick. She threw up blood and then passed

out and… and. She's not breathing" Connor's face paled and Silena burst into tears.

Without a word, Will grabbed Annabeth and sprinted toward the big house.
