Again, this is not medically accurate, it is purely for dramatic effect.

Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I do not own Percy Jackson; all rights go to the almighty

Rick Riordan.

Annabet's pov: "Annabeth, it's ok, let's get you to the big house.," I nodded and

stood up. My head spun and spots of light appeared before my eyes." Percy" I

whispered. He spun around, my knees buckled and darkness overwhelmed me.

I woke to the sound of voices whispering "What's wrong with her?" "Will she be ok?"

"I don't know". I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in the lower bunk of a

bunk bed in the infirmary. The minute Percy saw I was awake he ran toward me.

"Annabeth! You're alive!". It was as if hearing these words flipped a switch. Nausea

surged through me and I puked over the side of the bed. Thankfully there was a

bucket there for that very reason. I had no more food in me so it was mostly bile

and . . . blood. A lot of blood. Chiron galloped forward and put a hand on my head.

"She's burning up," I heard him say. "Get the thermometer." l layed back on my bed,

my vision blurring. "Annabeth, can you hear me?" It was Will Solace from the Apollo

cabin. I nodded weakly.

Then, a thermometer was put in my mouth, causing me to squirm internally with

discomfort. By the time the thermometer was taken out, darkness was forming in

the corners of my eyes. "Will, send an Iris message to Apollo, quickly!" Chiron said,

staring at the thermometer

Will's Pov: I woke up to a beautiful day, the sun was shining (but it always is. Bad

weather can't get past the magical walls of camp unless we want it to.) the birds

were chirping, and everything was fine. It wasn't until after breakfast that things

went south. I was in the middle of a sword fight with Connor Stole when I heard

someone yelling."Help! I need Help!" It was Percy's voice. He never asked for help, so

he must be dying. Conor glanced at me, and we took of running. About half way

there, Beauregard caught up to us. "What's happening?" she asked. "I don't know,

But Percy needs help"

"Percy what's wrong? Are you ok?" panted Silena when we finally found him "O My

Gods." said Connor "Annabeth" she was slumped in Percy's arms, her face white as a

ghost "I found her in her cabin. She is sick. She threw up blood and then passed out

and… and. She's not breathing"

At this my heart plummeted into my stomach, Connor's face went white and silena

started to cry. I scooped up Annabeth and took off toward the big house. We

couldn't lose Annabeth, but things didn't look good.
