Hi there! It's a bit late, still Happy 2025 New Year everyone! Hope this year is amazing for you all!

It's been a couple of months since I last wrote something for the KH section. So I thought I'd glance at my old notes and see what's been sitting there. Today, I'm sharing some short in-depth piece about how the members of the organization saw Xion. This takes place during 358/2 Days, but I will leave this SPOILER WARNING that there are several Spoilers for KHIII, KHUx, & KHDR here!

*Oh also, before I start, just want to give another heads up warning to anyone reading. There's been some 5pams and b0t reviews and PMs from people trying to offer their commissions to writers. Just be wary of those kinds that want to make your story art of some sort - whether in the form of a c0mic or YT video series or something else - and leave their social media contacts, plus ask for pay, Definitely PLEASE Take Caution! Got hit with a few already, so wanted to let others know and to be aware, be careful, and stay safe!

You're now warned, so enjoy the story!

Title: Through Their Eyes - Part 1: Xigbar

Type: Story - Multi-Chapter

Summary: Number XIV, the day the newest member came into their lives caused quite the internal turmoil and intrigue among many. For Roxas, he saw a blank slate slowly fill in with the girl he's come to know as Xion. But for others, there was much more to be seen.

Idea: Giving more depth to who other organization members saw reflecting through Xion. Much like how Xigbar saw Ventus in that one scene in 358/2 Days.

Sub-Ideas: Look For The Rest At The Bottom

Date: January 20, 2025

Xion, number XIV; the newest member to wear the coat of Organization XII.

For some, they saw another joined into their ranks. For others, they knew the truth of Xion's origins; the member who's merely a puppet, made to copy the abilities of the Keyblade's chosen. Those who knew, they kept quiet, but still the very presence of number XIV rattled everyone in some way, shape, or form.

Xigbar, one of the oldest members to be in on the plan, far longer than any of the others even realize, seeing little poppet often caused him to pause. For the special ability of this girl was not just limited to taking the weapon's power, but extended to absorbing and reflect one's memories back at them. When he saw Xion in that blank slate, a number of faces flashed back through her form. As she gained a sense of awareness and identity, he began to see wisps of those long forgotten.

Some days when he'd reflect on the choices of his life, he'd see the wielders he faced so long ago. He'd see the young woman, Aqua, with a fiery gaze filled with resolve and anger staring right at him. Other days, he'd see the young Terra, long before Xehanort had done what he had; remember their battle which impaired his vision. But the one who came up more them the two was the so called youngest, Ventus. That look Xion's eyes reflected, especially on the day they faced off before she ran away, it reminded him of the boy's and with it, the floodgate of memories rushed on through.

Whenever he saw that young time displaced keyblade wielder, it would take him to a time so deep within the past, to an age long forgotten, only remembered as a fairy tale today. He'd see them through her again, a part of himself feeling a touch of yearning and homesickness for days long gone. When Xion was troubled, he'd be reminded of the thoughtful and quiet Invi. When she was upset, he'd see the impatient and headstrong Aced. When she was animatedly reviewing the day's recon mission with other members, an investigative-natured Gula showed through. When she was more solemn and stoic, he'd see the ever pondering Ira. But when she was most happiest, he'd see her, dear sweet Ava. If only she hadn't challenged him so long ago, trying to go against all that he was set out to do, then they could have reunited as was planned after the next Keyblade War came to its end. But she came, she fought, and she departed. There was no going back to those what was, and what could have been.

Her legacy lived and lives on with the others, through the dandelions. Though he was lesser connected to them, for his roll was to simply watch, that didn't mean he didn't catch glimpses of the three who are not here now. On the day Xion was dissatisfied with the lack of information about her life, he could see the restlessness of Ephemer; a nosiness similar to that child's curiosity which soon led him to a revelation of the truth, and the pursuit of the way he was meant to follow. When Roxas fell into a deep sleep, she left shells by his bedside. In that moment, he saw the girl who stood by the young leader, Skuld, a shining star and a bringer of hope to continue forward into a brighter tomorrow.

The more amusing faces he saw were the reflections of the former keyblade wielders and nobodies, Marluxia and Larxene. In the quest for Xion's ability to once again wield the keyblade, he saw the determined faces of Laruiam and Elrena, who desperately searched high and low for his dear sister and friend. Oh Strelitzia, he remembers her well, even to the point where he saw poppet taking on her form. How tragic that her place was lost for what now is her future role. Gone are those days, and gone is the daring glare of the one whom he first broke the rule for and made that deal, Brain.

Whenever that boy appeared, he remembered another past. On certain days, when he'd regarded the developing friendship of Roxas, Axel, and Xion, he'd see even more treasured friends come back to the surface. He'd see his classmates from his days under the guise of Bragi, as a student in Scala Ad Caleum. He'd be reminded of the playful teasing of Vor. He'd think on the brotherly nature of dear Hemod and the consideration and kindness of Urd. Both were as reliable as siblings and had such a life ahead of them, were it not for what befell them. He regrets having to leave the young Xehanort and Eraqus alone, especially with a majority of the upperclassmen gone as well. It was one of the few times he allowed himself to be venerable, open and himself with a group of friends. Still, he remained ever vigilant when he was nearly done in. Sometimes, he'd catch glimpses of them through Xion's interaction with Roxas; everyone together in their younger forms, happily playing game, exchanging witty banter, and laughing away in a carefree manner.

Yes, Xion, the little poppet, brought forth many memories to the surface. But until the day she disappeared from them all their memories, he never let it show how much he truly was affected. Even with the new status, even with becoming a nobody, and regaining his heart, maybe he had just learned too well to numb his true senses. His genuineness and attachments were left behind all those years ago, when the Master had left him alone to wander. Years of watching, years of waiting, years of going through the motions, he wouldn't allow this one poppet to break it all down. Even after she was gone, though he temporarily remembered not her presence, the memories of those left in the past still remained ever clear in his mind.

Sub-Ideas: Xigbar and the people he sees through "Poppet" Xion.

-The Birth By Sleep Trio

-The Scala Ad Caleum Classmates

-The Union Leaders

-The First Group Of Friends In The Foretellers

-.

The first member I thought would be a good start is No. II, Xigbar! Or as we all know about him now, formerly Bragi, and before that, Luxu. I thought that he'd have a field day with little Poppet Xion, cause he'd be the one to see the greatest amount of reflections out of her!

Xigbar's P.O.V. in Days showed us who he sees whenever he looks at Xion. For some reason Ventus shows up rather than Aqua? So I figure that scene is probably going show up again for a pre-Master Xehnaort exclusive story that will make sense for the upcoming Lost Masters Saga. Maybe?

But anyway, before I go off on a tangent... I thought it was interesting that Xigbar saw Ven's face through Xion. It made me think that throughout her days there, he saw others he was once close with. Maybe he had been bombarded by his past because of her. But because he's a nobody, he was able to play it off with his usual attitude around them. So, other stories will soon focus on who the other members saw. Not sure I can do all of Organization XIII members, but there are definitely a few that can have a good reaction.

Not entirely sure how many chapters this will be just yet, still, hope you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for taking time to check out another new idea and see you on another chapter or story idea soon!

:D *Oh, before I go, an UPDATE to anyone who reads my story, "Sora's Dabreak." I will have a chapter out soon. It's taking a lot longer to come back around to it then I thought. So, please know, if you are reading it, i'm just slow updating. All right, thanks again for reading!
