As soon as Hayate announced the beginning of the match, Yoroi didn't waste time, rushing at Sasuke with a raised hand glowing faintly with chakra. "You're mine, Uchiha!"
Sasuke sidestepped the attack, narrowly avoiding Yoroi's palm, and countered with a swift kick to his opponent's ribs. Yoroi staggered but recovered quickly, retreating a few steps.
"You're fast," Yoroi said with a smirk. "But let's see how long you can keep it up."
Sasuke felt a pulse of pain shoot through his neck—the curse mark flared, threatening to spread. He winced, clutching at his shoulder. 'Damn it... not now!'
Taking advantage of Sasuke's distraction, Yoroi lunged forward again. This time, his palm connected with Sasuke's chest.
"Got you!" Yoroi declared as his chakra absorption technique activated. Sasuke felt his strength draining away, his chakra being pulled from his body.
--
"He is absorbing chakra from teme" said naruto in a quiet tone which only karin heard and nodded
"yes I can feel it, who do you think will win?" asked karin
"Even though I don't like uchiha's but teme will win this one because he didn't activate his sharingan yet" said naruto
Away from them, sakura was screeching in support for her love. "GO SASUKE-KUN KICK HIS ASS"
'Hope you'll be alright sasuke' thought kakashi as he know yoroi was absorbing his chakra.
--
Gritting his teeth, Sasuke shoved Yoroi back with a burst of physical strength, stumbling slightly as he did. He glared at his opponent. He's absorbing my chakra… I can't let him touch me again.
Yoroi chuckled. "You won't last long like this. Just give up."
Sasuke clenched his fists, forcing himself to stand tall despite the curse mark's interference. I can't use my Sharingan… and I can't rely on chakra-heavy techniques. I'll have to do this with pure taijutsu.
Yoroi charged again, his glowing palm aiming for Sasuke's head. But this time, Sasuke was ready. He ducked under the attack, spinning around and delivering a powerful kick to Yoroi's side.
The force of the blow sent Yoroi skidding across the arena floor. Sasuke pressed the attack, closing the distance with a flurry of punches and kicks. Yoroi managed to block some of them, but Sasuke's relentless assault began to overwhelm him.
--
"Not bad kakashi, your students flame of youth shine brightly" said gai
"hm you say something gai?" asked kakashi absentmindedly
"YOSH I SHOULD CHALLENGE SASUKE-KUN TO A TAIJITSU ONLY FIGHT" yelled lee as people can see fire burning in his eyes.
"What are teaching him kakashi?" asked kurenai
"Hm he's the strongest genin and my student here" said kakashi with a eye smile making naruto scoff
'Sasuke Uchiha' thought neji hyuuga as he started at the arena where fighting was happening.
--
As Yoroi tried to counter, Sasuke saw an opening. He delivered a low sweep kick, knocking Yoroi off balance, and followed up with an uppercut that sent his opponent airborne.
The audience gasped as Sasuke leaped into the air after Yoroi.
Naruto's eyes narrowed. "That's… Lee's technique."
Sasuke smirked mid-air, remembering the fight he'd fought with Rock Lee before first exam. I only saw it once, but it's enough.
He delivered a devastating series of blows, striking Yoroi multiple times in rapid succession. Each hit sent shockwaves through the arena, and Yoroi could only flail helplessly in response.
Finally, Sasuke flipped over his opponent, positioning himself above him. With a powerful axe kick, he sent Yoroi hurtling back to the ground.
Yoroi crashed into the arena floor with a thunderous impact, the dust rising around him. Sasuke landed gracefully, breathing heavily but standing firm.
Yoroi groaned, struggling to get up, but his body wouldn't respond. The damage he'd sustained was too severe.
Hayate stepped forward, raising his hand. "The winner is Sasuke Uchiha! Medics!!"
The crowd erupted into cheers, but Sasuke barely acknowledged them. He turned to walk towards stair but felt pain in his neck area and was about to fall only for kakashi to appear behind him.
"Let's deal with the seal on your neck" said kakashi and disappeared with sasuke in a poof of smoke.

"SASUKE-KUN WAS AMAZING" screeched sakura and ino on top of thrir lungs making naruto and other wince
"Are you sure we can't kill her naruto-sama?" asked akaitsuki
"What was that mark on sasuke?" asked naruto
"Mind your own business baka" screeched sakura and tried to punch naruto whi caught her fist and glared at her which made her whimper in fear.
"What did I told you when you attempted to do the same thing before?" asked naruto in a cold voice and sent chills across everyone's spine. Meanwhile hinata was glad that her crush will be available on the market now.
"It hurts please naruto" cried sakura in pain as naruto squeezed her fist.
"So now it hurts huh? what about you hitting me for last 7 years?" asked naruto in a cold voice
"Release her now, naruto" said kurenai as she narrowed her eyes at sakura
"Why? She attempted to hit me and as a ninja of Konohagakure I am free to protect myself beside I didn't saw you stopping her or telling her not to do it, such hippocratic behavior from a jonin" replied naruto
"You are on dangerous ground here genin Naruto Uzumaki" said kurenai leaking a bit of KI but naruto just scoffed and released a crying sakura.
"Naruto-baka that was unnecessary" said ino
"Ohh so the all knowing bitch speaks now" said naruto and ino fumed at his remark but held back by asuma
"Naruto enough!! hayate please proceed?" said third hokage and naruto went quite immediately.
"Why don't they like you?" asked karin
"I will tell you later" replied naruto and she nodded
"For the second match of chunin exams Shino Aburame and Zaku Abumi, please come to the arena" said hayate as shino and zaku walked into the arena and stood in front of each other.
"BEGIN!!" announced hayate and the fight began with Zaku confidently taunting Shino, showcasing his ability to manipulate sound waves and air pressure using specialized tubes embedded in his arms. Zaku believed his technique gave him a clear advantage over his opponent. He unleashed his Decapitating Airwaves technique, firing a powerful blast of compressed air toward Shino. The attack was destructive, but Shino managed to dodge it with relative ease, keeping his calm demeanor.
Recognizing Zaku's reliance on his air-based attacks, Shino devised a plan to exploit his opponent's overconfidence. Shino sent out his kikaichū (parasitic insects), which began to subtly swarm around Zaku. Zaku, unaware of the impending danger, continued to launch airwave attacks, trying to corner Shino. However, Shino deliberately maintained distance, forcing Zaku to expend energy and making it harder for him to notice the growing number of insects surrounding him.
At one point, Zaku managed to hit Shino with a blast, only for Shino to dissolve into a swarm of insects, revealing it to be a clone created with his kikaichū. The real Shino reappeared behind Zaku, revealing that he had been controlling the battle from the start. As Zaku prepared to unleash another powerful attack, he realized that his air tubes had become clogged with Shino's insects.
Shino explained his strategy, revealing that the kikaichū had infiltrated Zaku's arms during their skirmish and blocked the tubes, rendering his airwave attacks useless. Desperate, Zaku attempted to fire one final attack, despite Shino's warning that forcing the technique would only harm him. Ignoring the warning, Zaku unleashed the attack, but the clogged air pressure backfired, severely injuring his arms.
With Zaku incapacitated, Shino calmly approached him and stated that the match was over. The referee, Hayate Gekkō, declared Shino the winner. Zaku was carried away by medics, while Shino walked off without a scratch, his cold and calculating nature leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
"He still gives me chills" said kurenai
"Shino is awesome" yelled kiba and akamaru barked in approval
"you trained your genin well kurenai" said asuma as he compliments his secret girlfriend
"Hope your genin can win as well" replied kurenai with a smirk
"I am sure shikamaru will reach finals, what do you think gai?" asked asuma
"Yosh! I believe all three of my genins will be in finals" said gai with his trademark pose as others just laughed while kurenai noticed hinata walking towards Naruto and the red head girl who was standing alone away from them.
"Sakura do you know her?" asked kurenai
"No I have never seen her before" replied Sakura as she was also shocked at his teammates behaviour so far
"I will have a talk with hinata later" said kurenai and asuma nodded at it.
"Bugs are so crippy" muttered karin
"he was the second smartest to shikamaru when we were in academy" said Naruto
"So who is now?" asked karin
"That's for me to know and you too find out" said Naruto in a teasing tone making her pout
"ano naruto-kun" said hinata as she approached him and karin
"yes hinata-chan?" asked Naruto
"If you don't mind me asking who is she? I have never seen her with you before" asked hinata in her usual shy tone
"she is new to the village and is related to me, I hope you will become friends with her?" asked Naruto
Hinata nodded as she continued "I would like to" and nodded at karin before introducing herself "I am Hinata Hyuuga" said hinata
"I am Karin, Karin Uzumaki" said karin and hinata's eyes went wide as she looked at Naruto "Is she?" was all she asked when Naruto nodded in affirmation
"It's good that naruto-kun found someone of his family" said hinata with a smile and karin nodded to him, while this was going on hayate announced third matchup of preliminary which was Sakura Haruno vs Ino Yamanaka.
--
The third match of the Chunin Exam preliminaries featured Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka, two kunoichi from Konoha who were childhood friends turned rivals, primarily over their mutual affection for Sasuke Uchiha. While the fight was intended to showcase their skills as ninja, it devolved into what could only be described as a personal grudge match, filled with emotional outbursts and petty taunts.
From the start, it was clear that this wasn't a typical battle. Both combatants spent more time exchanging insults than executing any meaningful jutsu. The underlying tension of their shared history, particularly their rivalry over Sasuke, took center stage. Rather than showcasing their ninja prowess, the fight resembled a heated argument more than a serious competition.
Sakura, determined to prove herself, began by throwing a barrage of shuriken at Ino, but her attacks were easily dodged. Ino retaliated by mocking Sakura's insecurities, including her past timidness and her efforts to impress Sasuke. Instead of focusing on tactics, both fighters allowed their emotions to dominate, turning the match into a spectacle of personal drama rather than skill.
The battle took a brief turn toward seriousness when Ino used her Mind Body Switch Technique, a signature ability of the Yamanaka clan. However, even this impressive move fell flat in the context of the fight. Though Ino successfully took control of Sakura's body, Sakura's sheer willpower (fueled by her feelings for Sasuke, of course) allowed her to break free, a feat that surprised even the onlookers.
As the fight progressed, both girls grew increasingly tired, their moves becoming sloppier and their exchanges more childish. The crowd, which had initially watched with mild interest, began losing patience with the spectacle. Even their senseis, Kakashi Hatake and Asuma Sarutobi, looked visibly embarrassed by their students' antics.
The match ended in an anticlimactic draw after a final clash left both girls unconscious. Neither Sakura nor Ino managed to prove themselves as skilled kunoichi during the fight, and the lack of any decisive victory only highlighted the superficial nature of their rivalry. The referee, Hayate Gekkō, declared the result a tie, allowing both girls to exit the battlefield with their dignity barely intact.
This match was less about showcasing ninja abilities and more about the personal dynamics between two fangirls vying for attention. The lack of strategy, overreliance on emotion, and overly dramatic tone left many questioning why the two had been allowed to compete in the first place. While their emotional growth and reconciliation were heartwarming, the match itself served as little more than a spectacle of teenage angst, overshadowing any genuine display of skill.
"Are they seriously trying to fight!" thought karin
"this is embarrassing for konoha" thought Naruto
"these girls sully name of powerful women like us" said senbonzakura angrily
"I don't know what I was thinking in chasing that pinky banshee, I glad mom beat me out of it" thought Naruto in relief
"I will have a long talk with Kakashi and Asuma after this, this is not what I from kunoichi of my village, fighting over some boy" thought hokage angrily
"Asuma, Kakashi you didn't even beat fangirls and some patty rivalry out of them, this fight was plain and simple embarrassing for our village" said kurenai
"Ahh you see kurenai, we tried but_" was all asuma said when kurenai cut him off
"Save your excuses it is because of those type of girls us women always looked down upon, you better get them in shape or else" said kurenai
"Is this how konoha kunoichi fights? Tch! I will show them how real kunoichi fights" thought temari
--
The announcer, Hayate Gekkō, stood in the center of the arena, announcing the next match.
"Fourth Match, Tenten vs. Temari!" Hayate's voice echoed across the arena, his eyes scanning the crowd before turning to the two participants.
Tenten from Konoha stepped forward, adjusting her forehead protector and gripping the handles of her twin ninjatōs. She gave a confident smile to the crowd, but her eyes were locked on her opponent, Temari.
Temari, the Sand Village ninja, raised her giant fan casually on her shoulder. She had a confident, almost bored look on her face as she scanned Tenten, sizing her up. With one quick motion, she flicked her fan open, the wind from the motion causing her robes to flutter. She didn't seem concerned at all.
"Both competitors, take your positions," Hayate ordered.
Tenten stepped forward, her eyes burning with determination. "I'll make you regret underestimating me," she muttered.
Temari didn't respond. She only tilted her head, ready to unleash her wind jutsu.
"Begin!" Hayate shouted, and the battle commenced.
Tenten immediately reached for her weapons pouches. Without hesitation, she threw a flurry of shuriken and kunai at Temari. The projectiles whizzed through the air, aiming to overwhelm Temari with a barrage of attacks.
But Temari didn't even flinch. She simply swiped her fan downwards, and with a gust of wind, all of Tenten's projectiles were blown away, sent spinning off course and clattering to the ground.
Tenten's eyes widened. She had seen wind jutsu before, but Temari's wind was different. It was too strong, too controlled.
"Impressive," Tenten muttered, her grip tightening on her weapons. But she didn't back down. She wasn't about to lose so easily.
Tenten quickly reached into her weapon pouch and unsealed a special scroll. The scroll unfurled in her hands, and she summoned her weaponry arsenal. Dozens of weapons appeared in the air, surrounding her in a circle.
"I'll show you just how much I can do!" Tenten shouted as she flung a series of kunai and shuriken. This time, she was hoping that the sheer volume of weapons would overwhelm Temari, forcing her to act.
But once again, Temari was unbothered. She flicked her fan open again, sending a wave of wind strong enough to scatter the projectiles, rendering them useless. Tenten was taken aback as she realized how powerful Temari's jutsu was.
Temari smirked, her eyes focused on Tenten. "Your little weapons won't be enough. Wind beats everything."
Tenten narrowed her eyes, but she knew she couldn't give up yet. She reached into her pouch once more, pulling out another special scroll. This one was different—Tenten unsealed a set of large, spiked iron rods. The Twin Rising Dragons—two long, heavy rods that would help her close the distance.
"I won't go down that easily!" Tenten shouted, charging at Temari.
Temari's smirk widened. "Is that all you've got?"
Temari stood calmly as Tenten rushed towards her, her giant fan resting easily on her shoulder. As Tenten closed the distance, Temari suddenly swung her fan open with a swift motion.
A blast of powerful wind tore through the arena, knocking Tenten back. She was thrown off her feet, crashing against the ground. She struggled to regain her balance, but Temari had already prepared her next attack.
Temari raised her fan, and the wind gathered once more. This time, she sent a gust so powerful that it created a massive cyclone, spinning and churning the air around her. The force was so overwhelming that Tenten had no choice but to backpedal, trying to avoid the oncoming storm of wind.
Tenten's determination never wavered. She tried to counter with her rods, swinging them to block the wind, but the force of Temari's attack was too much. Her weapons were knocked out of her hands, and she was sent crashing into the arena floor.
Tenten slowly stood, her body battered and bruised from the impact of the wind attacks. She panted, trying to catch her breath. Despite her strength and determination, it was clear that Temari's wind jutsu was too much for her to handle.
Temari smirked. She flicked her fan open again, preparing to finish the match. With another powerful swing, she unleashed a massive gust of wind, stronger than anything she had used before. The wind hit Tenten directly, knocking her off her feet and sending her crashing to the ground.
Tenten struggled to get up, her body shaking. She gasped for air, but the strength of Temari's wind had drained her.
"That's enough," Temari said coolly, her fan closing as she turned her back on Tenten.
Hayate stepped forward and raised his hand. "The winner is Temari from the Sand Village."
Temari turned and casually walked off the arena floor, a satisfied look on her face. Her victory was decisive, and her wind jutsu had proved to be far too overwhelming for Tenten's weapons.
Tenten, on the other hand, was helped off the arena floor by the medics, her expression a mix of exhaustion and respect. She had been outmatched, but she knew she could improve and get stronger.
"Shinobi from suna are ruthless as expected, hopefully it will be a good learning experience for tenten" thought third hokage as he observed the fight
"GAI SENSEI! HOW COME TENTEN LOST" asked an excited Lee as much he was sad for his teammates loss he wanted to fight himself.
Before gai could answer Kakashi took time to explain things "Tenten was at disadvantage from beginning, she has now way of hitting temari using her weapons due to temari's wind release"
"How unyouthful" said Lee
"There is nothing wrong in that, tenten was weak and she lost simple as that" said neji
"You don't have to be cold towards your teammate neji" said gai as he reprimand neji who just tched in anger
Meanwhile Naruto was having a different conversation with karin and hinata,
"Now do you know why tenten lost?" asked Naruto
"because tenten was cornered by temari using her wind jutsu" answered hinata and karin nodded as well
"because tenten was overly specialized in weapons that she forgot there are other arts a ninja should learn, let's see hinata-chan's clan for example they only use taijutsu and byakyugan but what happens when they fight someone who knows how to fight against a Hyuuga? what will happen in such case?" asked Naruto while hinata held her head down in shame
"Capture for bloodline or death" said karin
"Exactly, and hinata-chan don't be sad I will help you in training if you want" said Naruto with a smile
"thank you naruto-kun, I will not disappoint you" said hinata in her usual quite and shy tone
"Don't forget you have to train me as well" said karin
"Ofcourse I will help both of you" said Naruto with a foxy grin making both girls blush
"Why you are not with other rookies?" asked Kakashi
"I am where I belong hatake-san" replied Naruto
"I am your sensei Naruto, not hatake-san, you will respect me as a sensei as well as your superior officer" scolded Kakashi
"But you haven't taught me anything other tree walking that too was on a A ranked mission, so yeah you don't deserve any respect from me" said Naruto as he glared at Kakashi which made him flinch
"Thankfully other jonins doesn't hear this" thought Kakashi as he sighed in relief
"They are your friends Naruto" said Kakashi
"I have my friends with me and they are karin and hinata, you don't have to worry about me as you never did even when you were protecting me as child from mobs of civilians and shinobi alike Inu-san" said Naruto in anger which made Kakashi's eyes went wide and he quickly went back to Sakura
"What was that about naruto-kun?" asked karin as hinata sent a little glare towards her who glared back
"Hoh little girls have fight in them" said akaitsuki as she giggled at reaction of hinata and karin
Naruto sighed and replied "I will tell you later when we get out of this place" and the girls nodded in acceptance.

The fifth match of the Chunin Exam preliminaries pitted Kankurō, the puppeteer from the Sand Village, against Misumi Tsurugi, a genin from Konoha with a unique ability to dislocate his joints. While the previous matches had showcased ninja techniques and personal rivalries, this fight was marked by Kankurō's ingenuity and Misumi's overconfidence.
The match began with Misumi attempting to intimidate Kankurō by showing off his dislocated joints. His ability to contort his body unnaturally, allowing him to escape from holds and traps, was meant to demonstrate his strength and flexibility. Misumi arrogantly declared that Kankurō wouldn't stand a chance against his unorthodox fighting style.
Kankurō, however, remained calm and collected, unfazed by Misumi's antics. He revealed his own strength not through physical prowess but with his puppet—Karasu (Crow), his trusted weapon. Kankurō, with his ability to control Karasu from a distance, demonstrated a style of combat reliant on strategy, trickery, and deception, rather than brute force.
Misumi charged at Kankurō, confident that his flexibility would allow him to slip through any attempt at capture. However, Kankurō easily evaded his attacks and controlled Karasu to ensnare Misumi in its powerful grasp. Misumi attempted to use his body's contorting abilities to escape, but Kankurō's puppetry proved too much.
Misumi's joints may have been able to twist and bend unnaturally, but they couldn't outmaneuver the deadly precision of Kankurō's puppet, which had mechanical limbs with razor-sharp claws and the strength to crush. The battle quickly turned in Kankurō's favor as he trapped Misumi in a vice-like grip, showcasing his ability to fight without ever needing to engage directly in hand-to-hand combat.
Despite Misumi's best efforts, he was completely overwhelmed by the puppet's strength and the skill of Kankurō's tactics. In the end, the match concluded with Misumi being incapacitated and taken out of the arena, unable to continue. The referee declared Kankurō the winner.
The fight was a quick, yet effective demonstration of Kankurō's superior tactical abilities and the deadly effectiveness of his puppets. It highlighted the contrast between the brute force of Misumi's style and Kankurō's reliance on intellect and manipulation of his surroundings.
Although the match wasn't long or particularly flashy, it showed Kankurō's growth as a shinobi, solidifying his reputation as a skilled puppeteer who could hold his ground against even the most unpredictable opponents. Misumi, on the other hand, was quickly eliminated, his abilities proving insufficient against the ingenuity and precision of Kankurō's puppetry.
--
"so this Kankuro guy uses puppets" thought Naruto
"but it's easy to discover if you're a sensor, or had a dojutsu" replied kurama
"ohh kurama, I thought you were asleep" asked Naruto
"meh these fights are boring" said kurama with a yawn and Naruto forced back his urge to yawn as well
"But I am not impressed, they are all weak well except of one tailed jinchuriki" replied karyuka
"Yeah no one stands close to naruto-sama in strength" said senbonzakura dreamingly
"I wonder who will naruto-sama fight? Will he destroy his opponent? Will he use he pranking mind to defeat him?" asked akaitsuki to herself and Naruto sweatdropped at his zanpakuto's behaviour
"Ignoring those girls, I want you to finish your match quickly while showing nothing" said kurama
"I will do as you say kurama, you don't have to worry about it if it's any of my fellow classmates I will use their weaknesses but as for that oto shinobi and gaara, I am sure you don't mind a bit showing off" said Naruto with a smirk
"Against that annoying raccoon not at all" said kurama with a small chuckle
--
The Sixth match of preliminary phase was between Shikamaru Nara and Kin Tsuchi took place during the Chunin Exam preliminaries, and it is remembered as one of the most strategic fights, largely due to Shikamaru's use of his intellect and his shadow-based jutsu. Kin Tsuchi, a member of the Sound Village, was more focused on using her weaponry and her sound-based abilities, which seemed promising in the beginning, but she quickly found herself outmatched by Shikamaru's tactical brilliance.
As the match began, Kin was the first to attack, confident in her abilities as she released her sound-based weapons, such as her needles and sound-based attacks, aiming to stun or incapacitate her opponent. Kin's techniques were centered around using sound as both an offensive and defensive measure, trying to overwhelm Shikamaru with a barrage of fast, sharp needles coated with poison, along with sound waves that could disorient him.
Shikamaru, however, didn't rush into an attack. He stood there calmly, using his sharp observational skills to assess the situation and waiting for the right moment to make a move. As Kin's attacks came at him, he used his Shadow Possession Jutsu, a technique that allowed him to extend his shadow and control her movements as long as it touched her own shadow. Shikamaru immediately put her on the defensive by manipulating her to avoid her attacks while remaining out of harm's reach.
Kin attempted to free herself by trying to move quickly and forcefully, but Shikamaru was too skilled with his shadows, keeping her in place. She then tried to use her sound-based abilities to disrupt his concentration, but Shikamaru's calm demeanor allowed him to maintain control. Kin's frustration began to build as she realized she was unable to escape the grasp of Shikamaru's jutsu, and her attacks became more erratic.
However, the match was not entirely one-sided. Kin was resourceful and managed to deploy her sound-based needles one last time, aiming them in an attempt to pierce Shikamaru's defenses. Shikamaru, despite his quick thinking, realized that he couldn't afford to make any mistakes, as the poison could incapacitate him if struck. This realization led Shikamaru to act swiftly, using Shadow Strangle Jutsu, which allowed him to tighten his shadow around Kin, essentially trapping her completely.
As Shikamaru manipulated his shadow to bind Kin, he calculated his next move carefully, maintaining control of the situation. He didn't wish to seriously harm her, understanding that the purpose of the Chunin Exams was not to kill but to test one's abilities. With the match drawing to a close and Kin unable to move, Shikamaru declared his victory, forcing the referee to step in and end the match. Kin was left unable to continue, having no way to escape the shadow hold, and Shikamaru was declared the winner.
--
"her technique of using genjustu was good isn't it kurama?" asked Naruto
"Indeed it was and I can safely assume that sound shinobi uses sound to perform genjutsu or they use sound based ninjutsu" said kurama
"Hm, now only one's left are Kiba, Hinata-chan, Neji, Chouji, That mummy guy from oto, gaara and rock Lee" said Naruto
"who do you think which one them will fight you?" asked karin
"I don't know but I certainly don't want to fight hinata-chan" said Naruto
"I for one doesn't want to fight naruto-kun as well" said hinata but inside she was worried about that sand shinobi and her cousin neji who was constantly glaring at her.
Everyone looked at the electric board as names appeared and Hayate announced the matchup "Seventh Match of the preliminary phase, Naruto Uzumaki and Kiba Inuzuka please arrive in the arena"
"Yahhoo! Akamaru we got lucky. It will be an easy win against the deadlast" yelled Kiba and akamaru barked in agreement as he jumped from the balcony
"Good luck naruto-kun" said both karin and hinata and then glared at each other making Naruto sigh who replied with a foxy grin and said "The dog boy doesn't know what he's in for" said Naruto as he calmy walked away and took the stairs to get to the arena.
"I am sorry to say that Kakashi but Naruto has no chance of winning against Kiba" said kurenai with an arrogant smirk
"I know that as well, Naruto is not ready for chunin exams yet" said Kakashi while Sakura and Ino nodded in approval.
As Naruto reached the arena, he saw Kiba smirking at him arrogantly and spoke up "You should give up deadlast and save yourself from embarrassment as you doesn't have any chance of winning against someone like me."
"let's see how much you hold back during your fight naruto-kun" said third hokage to himself
Hayate took a deep breath and spoke up, "Seventh Match of Chunin Exam Preliminary Phase, Naruto Uzumaki vs Kiba Inuzuka begins!!"
