Chapter 2: Destiny Changed Itself

Adrien transformed to Chat Noir. Then Gabriel Agreste transformed to Hawk Moth. Lila got her place next to Hawk Moth. Ladybug stand there, she was looking at Chat Noir with wet eyes. She was lost yet she had to be her own light in her own solitude.

"Believe me son, no one could want your happiness more than I do!"

"Adrien please, what if he is lying? The consequences could hurt you or it could be worse! It might destroy the whole life!"

"Adrien, I know you miss your mother! You want her back! You told me once, you always obey me, just to make me happy! As your father, you maybe thought i failed for years! But you see, this time i am giving you a chance to get your mother back, all i did, everything i sacrificed, was for this family!"

"Adrien, you can't let your emotions get on your way! You know, as a superhero, you can't use your powers for your own sake! Or you will be punished! These are supernatural powers Adrien, you know there is no option!"

This was too much for Adrien. She couldn't choose between the right and wrong. He got his head between his head and cried. He fell on his knees. He screamed with a high voice reflected all his anger and sadness.

"STOP!"

These strong powers was enough to feed an akuma. Hawk Moth, sent an akuma to his ring. Ladybug immediately ran to him and get on her knees.

"Adrien, listen to me! Fight against akuma, please!"

For the first time, she felt that close to defeat, since Chat Noir was about to surrender to akuma.

"Chat Blanc, I am Hawk Moth, i give you the infinite power of cataclysm, you can use it on anything and anyone on your way! For that, i want you to get Ladybug's miraculous."

Chat Noir was desperately trying to fight back, yet he had no choice, at the worse time, Emily's, her mother's face came to his mind. Seeing her once more, maybe even more than once made him surrender to evil.

In most's eyes, evil only wishes death and destruction for all. Yet sometimes, which all think is wrong, right some ones. The hurt ones, who have nothing to lose since they lost everything they had, choose evilness. They are wicked in our eyes, and if they have things that they can't sacrifice, we claim them insane. Gabriel Agreste, would do anything for his son, yet he would burn the world for Emily.

And Adrien, everything he did was just to satisfy his father. At that time, he had an opportunity to choose what to do, he could fight against his own father: yet he couldn't get his mother off of his mind. This time, he decided. He decided to get her mother back.

The new war began.

Chat Noir couldn't decide it that was his decision or was he manipulated to think this is right thing to do. He couldn't decide if he had right to choose, did he really make his decision or was it all a lie…

It didn't matter anymore, he got into a path he can't go back now. Nothing really would matter at that point.

He transformed into an akumatized superhero, or a heartbroken villain, it was the same thing. He will end up as a hero of her mother or a desperate villain who will lose her again, but this time he would lose his love, Ladybug too.

His black suit turned white, his golden blonde hair faded to white, his green pure eyes sharpened and turned ocean blue. He looked similar yet completely different.

"I'm sorry M'lady. I am sick of obeying others. First, my father. Then you! You always gave me command. My love to my mother, blinded me and i became a puppet of Agreste's. Then my love to you, made me a puppet of yours! For the first time, I will make my own choice! I will get my mother back!"

"You say that yourself, you love me! And I love you, Adrien! I love you! Please, don't sacrifice yourself like this, don't be cruel! This isn't you, you wouldn't do such thing like your father!"

"Wrong! I am nothing like my father, he fought fair with you, I will be cruel, I will get my revenge from life! I won't obey rules, I will make them surrender to my wishes! Give me your miraculous!"

They were fighting against each other. Ladybug, behind the mask Marinette, was desperate and did her best to stop Chat Blanc. She used her lucky charm. A peacock miraculous appeared. As Hawk Moth saw that, he recognized it.

"I gave that peacock miraculous to Emily, it was broken! That's why it got her sick and she…"

Chat Blanc looked at his father with anger.

"Did you gave her a broken miraculous? Is this the reason my mother passed away?"

Chat Blanc gone insane, the anger could seen in his blue eyes, almost turned black. He used cataclysm and desperately attacked his father.

"You killed my mother!"

And he attacked to strike him on his chest. Yet he hit him on his miraculous. He was thrown with the power of destruction. The hawk miraculous was damaged, so he retransformed. Then Chat Blanc walked on him, Ladybug tried to stop him with her yoyo yet he used his power again and vanished her yoyo with his single touch. Now Ladybug was defenseless, so was Gabriel.

"You… killed.. HER!"

Chat Blanc used his cataclysm again and hit him on his heart. Gabriel screamed in pain, a strong man like him, was destroyed like a stone sculpture, which was broken into thousand pieces.

He looked at what he has done. He was out of control. He couldn't manage himself, his anger, his power… He didn't have any control on anything. He was moving with his emotions in order. He fell down on his knees. He cried, he cried like he wasn't the one who caused the scene.

"What have I done…. WHAT HAVE I DONE!"

He yelled out loud. His voice revealed a wave, which dragged and vanished everything.

Ladybug fell on ground in pain. She tried to get up. She was desperate, and her eyes closed slowly.

When she woke up, she yelled out his name:

"Adrien!"

But instead, she saw Bunnyx.

"Ladybug, you are awake! Oh thank God!"

"She immediately got up. She looked around, they were in time portal.

"Bunnyx, you don't know what happened!"

"No, ladybug, I know. I know yet it's impossible! You won that war!"

Ladybug was confused.

"What do you mean?"

"You defeated Hawk Moth at that war! Yet even Hawk Moth managed to escape, Chat Noir wasn't akumatized! Even worse, now Gabriel Agreste is dead and since Hawk miraculous is damaged, Chat Blanc didn't retransformed to Chat Noir!"

"I don't get it, how is that possible?"

"I don't know, yet since your yoyo is destroyed, you can't fix anything."

"Then what will i do? Maybe we should go back in time and get a new ladybug miraculous!"

"That wouldn't work since you used luck charm on your miraculous."

Ladybug was terrified. She couldn't come up with any plans.

"You should give your miraculous to Chat Blanc." Bunnyx talked with a defeated voice.

"WHAT? Are you insane? If i do that-"

"Listen to me! Give it to him. Let him think you are giving your miraculous away for him to use for his wish. This is the only way we can get his ring out of his finger. Then he will get out of akuma's influence."

Ladybug was afraid, she knew that would be risky. They were sacrificing the queen for a little chance of checkmate, she thought. Yet there was no option. She agreed. Bunnyx opened a portal. She got in. The whole Paris was destroyed. There wasn't any sound. Except Chat Blanc's voice, he was singing to himself while watching Paris from Eifell Tower, in a death silent night.

"Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin

Dance me through the panic 'til I'm gathered safely in

Touch me with your naked hand, oh, touch me with your glove

Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to the end of love…"

He was murmuring a lovely song about love, which feels like one last dance before world ends. Ladybug walked through him.

"Chat Noir?"

She got goosebumps when she heard her own voice echoed across the whole Paris.

Chat Blanc looked behind, he saw her and somehow, he was happy. He hugged her tight and cried, cried like a scared little boy.

"Oh, M'lady, I was so scared to lose you! I lost everyone, I killed my own father! I destroyed the whole Paris! Why nobody comes for help! Why doesn't anyone look for help!"

He cried as he collapsed on her figure. He couldn't stand, he fell on his knees. Ladybug got on her knees too. They both were just teenagers behind the mask, it was too much for both of them. And both of them didn't know, not just Paris, the whole world was destroyed. It was the end of the world but it was a quiet, peaceful end. Earth was alive, yet life on it was vanished.

"Please forgive me! Please forgive me! Oh, my love, everything i did was for my mother! Please, I already lost everything, there is no turning back! Please, I can't lose you, I can't!"

Ladybug, behind her mask she was alive and she could feel him. At the moment she was the only one can change everything.

"If you had a wish, what would you want?"

She whispered softly. Chat Blanc opened his eyes, stopped crying and looked at her eyes.

"What.. do you mean?"

"Oh dear…"

She got up and slowly took her earrings off. Chat Blanc, looked at her with love and affection when her mask disappeared.

"M-marinette!!!"

He was shocked. Marinette his hand to give her earrings yet Chat Blanc hugged her tight, tighter than before.

"It's.. It's you! You get me right! You understand how i feel, you feel what i feel right? M'lady, the girl I'm in love with is you! How could I be that blind? It's you!"

He was yelling with joy and laughter, yet Marinette, was silent. She was like a viewer, she felt like she wasn't in her body. Like she was watching afar…

"I decided to… let you make a wish…"

Chat Blanc's smile faded.

"What changed your mind?"

Marinette looked around.

"This is the best… Everything is destroyed, there's nothing i can do. At least i can let you live your wish…"

Chat Blanc, pushed her to the wall with anger.

"What do you mean? You always save the day! You always get on evil people's way! You always turn everything right! If i make my wish now, you won't have any chance to save us!"

He yelled too loud it made Marinette flinch. Chat Blanc looked at her, now the only one alive with him was the girl he loved, yet he scared her and treated poorly.

"I… I'm sorry, I can't control myself! I don't know why is this happening! I don't know why!"

"It's okay Adrien, make your wish and-"

"NO! This is a dead end! If i get her alive, if i use my wish for that, she will come back to a world which is destroyed! I destroyed life, i lost my friends, my father, everyone! i killed them all! But if i use that wish to make things right, everything i did would be for nothing! Everything my father did, would leave it's scar in our lives as lost years for nothing! It can't be like this!

Marinette held his hands and kissed him. She kissed him deeply with love and sadness.

"Just… listen to your heart."

She said. He smiled, and took off his ring. Then akuma left the ring, he turned back to normal. But he couldn't recognize where he was, he looked at Marinette's eyes with shock. A terrified image was seen on his face.

"Marinette?"

Then Bunnyx appeared to took her to time portal.

Marinette, hugged Chat Noir.

"I promise, I will make things right."

She left him there and got into time portal with Bunnyx.

"So what do we do?"

"I realized there is a hole in your day."

"A hole? What does it mean?"

"Something didn't happen as it should have happened. You will relive your day."
