"How much longer are we gonna have to put up with these government stiffs lurking around Star Labs?" Cisco asked Dr. Wells as they continued to watch government agents poke all around Star Labs, which they had been doing ever since the accelerator exploded.

"For as long as they deem it necessary, though I will admit that it is a hindrance to our efforts to help Barry, since I'd rather not have the government all around while we help him recover from the lightning strike." Wells said, since this intrusion was definitely a hitch in his plans, since right now, if they attempted to train Barry in using his speed, all that would do is alert the government to his abilities and lead to Argus, particularly Amanda Waller, claiming Barry as government property. And while there would've once been a time where he'd welcome that, now that would be too inconvenient for his plans.

"Yeah I know. But not to mention all the interviews we've had to repeatedly give to the feds. How did Caitlin escape having to go through that?" Cisco asked.

"Because she has her mother's army of lawyers to fight for her, not to mention the fact that her work at the hospital gives her some deniability, along with the fact that she never had anything to do with the overall construction of the accelerator like we did, she was just our in house doctor." Dr. Wells said, though he was worried that if something didn't change soon to get the feds out of here, they would soon discover his time vault, if only by accident and that would ruin his plans completely.

"Well still, these suits are messing up everything in my workshop, even though they won't find anything in there or anywhere else in this building, since the accelerator blowing up with an accident. It wasn't even supposed to be turned on when it did. How did that happen by the way?" Cisco asked.

"If I knew I'd tell you Cisco." Wells said, even though he'd just lied to Cisco's face, since not only did he know what had caused the explosion, he'd been the one to cause it.

However, their conversation was cut short when the government agent who'd been in charge of the investigation walked up to them.

"Well, it's your lucky day. Some other corporate big shot has decided that they want you to be their problem, so we're pulling out." the agent said.

"I wonder what that's about?" Cisco said, though he wasn't complaining.

"It's about the fact that as soon as your boss signs these documents, Star Labs will no longer be its own entity, but will instead be owned by the only tech company in the world willing to come anywhere near it, Argo Enterprises." said a voice that was at least familiar to Wells.

"Jesse." Wells said as he saw Jessica Wells, the daughter of the real Harrison Wells, walk into the cortex with some forms in her hands.

"Hi dad." Jesse said calmly and without any real emotion, both members of the Wells family ignoring the look of shock that his boss had a daughter he never knew about. Not that it should be surprising considering how private Dr. Wells kept his personal life, but still, you think you know a guy.

"What's going on here?" Cisco asked.

"Right, my apologies, introductions. Cisco Ramon, meet my daughter, Jessica Wells." Dr. Wells said.

"Morgan. My name is Jessica Morgan. I took mom's last name after you basically disowned me and dumped me at my grandparents' house and let them raise me instead of doing it yourself after mom died." Jesse said angrily before quickly calming down.

"Look, right now, my boss Kara Danvers has decided that she wants to add Star Labs to her already huge tech empire and see if she can salvage the reputations of the staff and the facility, though one of the conditions of this acquisition is that Harrison Wells has to relinquish control of Star Labs and all it's subsidiaries to Argo Enterprises, since while he'll be allowed to keep working here, he cannot be trusted to remain in charge of anything." Jesse said while barely giving her dad a look.

"So, I sign these papers and while I won't be in charge anymore, this facility and all my staff will be able to hopefully salvage their careers and reputations?" Wells asked, since this honestly did not sound too bad and would honestly make it easier for his plans if he was no longer the one in charge of the company, since then he could focus all his energy on helping Barry.

"Pretty much. Best deal you're gonna get right now." Jesse told him.

"And I'm not foolish enough to think that I have any negotiating power right now, so the deal is accepted, please give me the forms I need to sign." Wells said and Jesse nodded as she handed over the forms to him.

"Wait, you're just gonna sign over control of this building to another company?" Cisco asked.

"Cisco, I've been trying to get into business with Kara Danvers for years, I even tried to get her to agree to making the particle accelerator a joint project, but she refused, so if this is what it takes for her to want to do any kind of business with me, I'll take it, since she is a brilliant woman and this is a way for Star Labs to regain the trust of the people of Central City and it will allow us to remain operational. Especially since with the resources of Argo Enterprises, we'll be able to perform far more advanced research than we ever could before." Wells said as he signed the paperwork.

"Yep and I will be the one running this lab from now on, since we plan on turning Star Labs into one of Argo's more advanced R&D facilities. After we dismantle and destroy whatever's left of that particle accelerator, I don't want anyone getting any ideas about rebuilding it." Jesse said.

"Agreed. It's clearly outserved its purpose and if this city is ever going to regain its trust in us, we don't need a reminder of our greatest failure." Wells said since while that would complicate his plans a little bit, it would be worth it in the long run.

"Good. Now, Ms. Danvers has some personal business to take care of in National City, but she promises to be here for the official announcement in a few weeks. In the meantime, she's given me authority to run this place in the meantime. Which means I need to know about all experiments currently being performed here. Or rather were being performed before you were shut down." Jesse said, trying to act professional.

"It's almost as if you don't trust me." Wells said snarkily.

"It's exactly like I don't trust you. You're lucky you still have a job here Harrison." Jesse said.

"Okay, maybe I should give Jesse a tour of the labs and hopefully diffuse the situation." Cisco intervened.

"I'd appreciate it, Cisco." Jesse said, grateful that he was attempting to calm the situation and allowed him to give her a tour.
