"Hawk Moth was Lord Agreste this entire time?" asked Pigella.
"Why… why would you do all of this?" asked Cat Noir, his fists trembling from anger as he refused to look at the man and instead held his head low to look at the ground.
"I need your Miraculouses to get my wife back," said Gabriel.
"And you would risk everything for that, even your own son's life?!" asked Cat Noir as he finally raised his head to look at the older man, tears filling his eyes.
"You have no clue what it's like to…," said Gabriel, but Cat Noir cut him off.
"Claws In!" said the hero, surprising everyone once again.
"Adrien," said Gabriel.
"That's right, and I do know what it's like to lose someone, because I lost mom just like you did but even I wouldn't go this far," said Adrien.
"And now I've lost another parent, but this time I no longer feel anything but anger and hatred for you," he said while ripping the Butterfly Miraculous off of Gabriel's shirt. He then walked away with everyone making way for him.
"This can't be where… this ends," said Gabriel before coughing up some blood.
"Suicide pill!" said Purple Tigress.
"You're not getting out of this that easily," said Ladybug. Caprikid then moved to stand over Gabriel, a green light raining down on the older man after the hero held his hand out, causing Gabriel to heal.
"For your crimes against the kingdom, you will spend the rest of your life behind bars," said Vespera. Later, Marinette had found Adrien sitting on a roof looking out at the city.
"I thought you would be here," said Marinette while sitting next to him.
"Kagami didn't come with you?" asked Adrien.
"We thought it would be better if I came alone, she plans to meet with us later," said Marinette.
"Okay," said Adrien. He then lost himself and began to cry into her shoulder as she hugged him.
