Falcon was sitting on the Quinjet holding Dr Garaki as it was heading for the Liberator, deep in thought
"Still thinking about what Sterns said?" Capt asked
"Yeah I am" Falcon nodded
"Well don't, whatever it is, he's possibly playing mind games with you. After all you know how he is with Hulk" Capt said
"I do, but maybe we should ask Banner what to do, and maybe...Just maybe I'll drag that out of storage" Falcon frowned
"You brought it along?" Capt asked
"Yeah, just in case" Falcon shrugged.
"Then suit up" Capt said
"Yes sir" Falcon nodded.
Once he was back on the Liberator, Falcon headed for his quarters and entered it. He then closed the door and sighed before he pulled out a black and silver box, which had tribal designs on it. He opened it up and smiled, seeing the suit that Capt and T'Challa had made for him, using the same designs as T'Challa's suit; only with Stark tech nanite wings. He pulled it one and looked in the mirror, the red, white and blue uniform almost looked foreign to him. He then loaded his Redwing drone and headed for the top deck. Once there
"Falcon you are cleared for takeoff" the bridge said
"Understood" Falcon said activating his wings and then jumping off the side, his goggles acting as a head's up display giving him a horizon line and other gauges.
"This is Falcon, Mission is a go" he said taking off.
"Whoa! What was that?" Hawks asked as he saw something generation a jet trail. He flew after it at top speed, but even then he noticed was lagging behind "That has to be one of the other worldly heroes. I wonder what's wrong?" he asked as he flew after Falcon at his top speed. He squinted to try and get good look at him, only to see the flying hero had stopped midair.
"Whoa' he said as he skidded to a stop.
"Sorry I saw you behind there, nice to meet you I'm Falcon" Falcon said
"I'm Hawks" Hawks smiled as the two shook hands
"Nice to meet you," Falcon smiled "Maybe you can help me." he said
"What with?" Hawks asked
"I'm on a mission to recover eh enemy, or rather one of them" Falcons aid
"Oh, why?" Hawks asked
"Apparently this enemy has intel we need and he's also requested asylum" Falcon told them
"Okay so where would he be?" Hawks asked
"I'm not sure, but I think I may know" Falcon said showing a holographic photo of Mandalay "This is how we found out what he wants, he is a telepath and he used this woman to
"So let's go" the two said as they flew off.
"Where is he?" Samuel Sterns asked as he was hiding in some forest. "I'm worried about who they will send for me, mostly the Serpent Society" he worried
"Indeed, he did" a voice said as Sterns looked with a shocked face as standing there was Sidewinder, Asp and Black Mamba. "So you found out about his plan huh?" Sidewinder asked as he pulled out a gun and loaded it, aiming at him "Sorry Dr Sterns, but you know too much."
"This should be fun" Asp said as she walked closer, only to hear the growl of something behind her. The Serpent Society members turned around and saw that there was a mass of monsters made out of rock and the earth. All three of them started to back up.
"Finally" Sterns said as he got out of there quickly, only to be growled at by two of the rock monsters "Oh drats" he said before he heard something hit the earth behind him, making a high pitch sound before a shockwave flew out from behind him, making him fly into a wall.
"Samuel Sterns" Falcon said handcuffing him "You're under arrest" Sam said
"About damn time!" Stern shouted
"So this is him...what talk about a big head?" Hawks said as he softly landed "What happened?"
"He...huh; how did you get that big head?" Falcon asked
"I was infected by the blood of the Incredible Hulk after he was slammed into a machine by the Abomination" Stern said
"Oh" they two said
"Yeah, so you taking me in or what?" Stern asked
"That answer your question?" Falcon asked as a Quinjet arrived and opened the back. "now get in there!" Falcon shouted him and got on board. He looked around and saw that there was nothing there.
"Okay Talk!" Falcon said
"Not until we're safe" Sterns said
"And where is that?" Hawks asked
"That flying fortress of theirs, the one over that blasted school!" Sterns snapped
"You have a fortress over UA?" Hawks asked shocked
"Yeah we do, it's called the Liberator" Falcon said "And technically it's a flying aircraft carrier that acts as a mobile headquarters"
"Just hurry it up" Stern shouted
"Chill man, we'll get there once we get there" Hawks said making Falcon frown and head up to the cockpit. He knew this was a bit too easy
"anything on RADAR?" he asked
"Negative sir" the pilot said
"Alright, keep an eye on the radar and keep in communication with the Liberator" Falcon ordered as he went back
"You expecting trouble?" Hawks asked
"If I know Doom, then yeah I am" Falcon said
"Falcon sir" The pilot called back making Falcon head up to the cockpit again.
"We have two, four, eight, 32 boogies on radar, Six o'clock" the pilot said
"I knew it" Falcon said as he looked over the
"What's happening?" Hawks asked
"We got 32 missiles chasing us" Falcon replied as he went over to something and held out his arm as Capt's shield was placed on his arms. "Open the hatch" he shouted
"Yes sir" the pilot said
"Is that?" Haws asked
"Yep" Falcon smiled as he unfurled his wings and jumped out, scanning the horizon he saw the missiles "Oh no"
"Go for Stark" Tony said as he was enjoying
"TONY!" Falcon shouted
"AH!" Tony flinched. "Volume down Sam"
"Yeah well, I've got the Leader and I'm looking at a whole lot of Jericho missiles heading toward us, thankfully they haven't exploded yet" Falcon said.
"What do you mean?" Tony asked as he opened the data and saw "No those are different then the Jericho missiles I made," he frowned.
"WHAT!" Falcon snapped
"They're based on the Jericho missile, but its different. I'm guessing maybe Hammer or Oscorp made them" Stark frowned
"What about Doom?" Falcon asked
"Indeed" Stark said as he started to scanned them, "Get to the Liberator and quickly" Stark said as Capt walked in and frowned.
"What are those?"
"Dark Jericos" Stark said as he tried to find and opening and stop the missiles.
"Okay, let's do this!" Falcon shouted as he leapt out the back and opened his wings, using them to fly towards the missiles. Locked on in three, two, one" he shouted before throwing the shield at them, it bounced off of them one by one blowing them up, after the last one the shield flew off into the air, giving Falcon the chance to grab the shield.
"Missile's down!" Falcon used the radio to relay
"Nice moves" Hawks complimented him
"Thanks" Falcon smiled before he heard an alert, "INCOMING!" he shouted as an RPG hit the turbine of the Quinjet.
"NO!" Hawks shouted as Falcon dove for it, his thrusters at maximum output as he tried to reach the Quinjet, only for another engine to blow. "SHIT!" he shouted
"Come one, come on!" Falcon shouted as he continued his dive.
"And thus your wings were clipped" Sidewinder said "Now to find the wreckage and hope our leak and a few heroes are dead" he said
"Of course commander" the two with him said
"But what if they're not?" Asp asked
"Then we go hunting" Sidewinder sneered
"Against two heroes, two agents and the Leader?" Asp asked
"Yes, because we're getting help" Sidewinder smirked before heavy thuds were heard, making the trio look and spotting three androids that looked like Dr Doom
"Doombots?" Black Mamba asked
"Yes" Sidewinder said "Compliments of Dr Doom as back up. Plus the Ultroids were still in development" Sidewinder said
"So let's get going" Asp said
"Very well" Sidwinder said pulling out his revolver and armed it.
"That was close" Falcon said as he and Hawks helped the agents out of the wreck.
"No kidding" Hawks said as he pulled out two feather swords and looked around. Falcon frowned as The Leader stepped out, pulling his shield out he slammed the prisoner into the side of a tree
"Easy now" Sterns said
"TALK! WHAT IS IT YOU KNOW!" Falcon demanded
"I Told you I would tell you once we're safe. But right now we're not!" Sterns said
"You know I can have Jean Grey scramble your head before getting what we want" Falcon threatened.
"You wouldn't" Sterns panicked
"Oh yeah, try me" Falcon said as he pulled a gun out and aimed it at the Leader's head
"Wait didn't you say you needed him?" Hawks asked
"We do, but we can knock him out and then, we can have a psychic pull it out of his head" Falcon said
"Falcon SIR!" an Agent said as they heard the rhythmic stomping off metallic feet
"Oh please tell me that isn't what I think it is" Falcon frowned as he looked
"What are those?" Hawks asked
"Doombots!' Falcon shouted
"Doombots?" Hawks asked
"Yeah those are mechanical servants of Dr Doom" Falcon informed him, pulling out the shield and getting ready to attack.
"That's what he looks like?" Hawks asked
"Yeah" Falcon frowned
"Whoa well, TAKE THIS!" Hawks jumped into the fray, baring his sword sand slashed them against the steel body of the Doombot, unbolt the sword broke "What?" he asked before the Doombot grabbed him by the throat and squeezed
"HAWKS!" Falcon shouted as he used the shield to cut the arm off, making the winged hero cough.
"Oh dear" Leader said as he backed off, looking worried
"Oh great" Falcon sneered. "YOU SO OWE US STERNS!" he shouted as he flew at the Doombot, only to stop mid flight and move backwards
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Leader exclaimed concerned,
"Backing up" Falcon smirked, as a roar was heard
"Oh no" The Leader winced.
"HULK SMASH!" Hulk shouted as he landed on a Doombot, growling as he turned the Leader "You!"
"Hulk" Leader coughed
"Big head" Hulk snorted as he grabbed the Leader and lifted him up "You have something we want" he growled
"And I told I would give it to him!"
"Hulk easy, you can squeeze him later" Falcon said
"So that guy is handy in t a fight" Hawks coughed, rubbing his throat
"YOU okay?" Falcon asked
"Yeah" Hawks coughed
"Do we have to?" Hulk asked
"Yeah, but we don't need those" Falcon smirked pointing to the Doombots making Hulk smirk, dropping the Leader and stalking over to them
"Alert, Hulk detected" the lead Doombot said before he was punched in half by the Hulk who grabbed both halves and started to use them as hammers knocking out the rest of the Doombots, stomping on them for good measure.
"Well that went rather swimmingly" Asp said looking at her nails.
Yes, let's bombard them with Doombots and hope they don't send in any reinforcements" Black Mamba bitched
"Will you two shut up!" Sidewinder snapped as he looked around, seeing the smoke from the Doombots "that way" he said
"How can you be so sure?" Asp asked
"trust me" Sidewinder said
"What about it calling any other heroes?" Black Mamba asked as Sidewinder's coat fluttered in the wind as he strode forth
"Then we will deal with them as well" he sneered before a beeping was heard, withdrawing a device from his coat he squeezed it making a hologram of Doom's head appeared
"Lord Doom" Sidewinder said
"What is the situation?" Doom asked
"They are alluding us for now, but we will find them and when we do the Leader will regret betraying you" Sidewinder said
"And the Doombots?" Doom asked
"Destroyed' Asp frowned
"By what?" Doom asked
"The heroes, looks like Falcon, Hulk and one of the ones from this world" Black Mamba said
"I see, very well I will deploy more" Doom growled "BUT! If these are destroyed without getting Sterns then I will finish you of myself!"
"Yes sir" the serpent society saluted.
"Let's hunt" Sidewinder said.
"So what now?" Hawks said as Falcon finished tying up The Leader and gagged him
"Are there any heroes close by?" Falcon asked
"There should be, but given recent events I'm not sure if they can spare any resources" Hawks said
"What about your agency?" Falcon asked
"No good, we're too far away" Hawks frowned as he looked around, before spreading his feathers about and looked around some more
"What is it?" Falcon asked
"Movement" Hawks said "And what were those guys, the ones from earlier?"
"The Serpent Society" Falcon said as he placed Capt's shield on his back "Hulk lift brainjar there" he muttered as the three heroes continued on their way.
"You got it" Hulk grunted grabbing Sterns.
"Where are they?" Stark asked
"Falcon?" Capt asked
"Yeah, I sent the Hulk after them but they haven't called in" Stark said
"What were they doing?" Capt asked "Maybe we should send someone else in?"
"I'm thinking about Black Widow" Stark said
"Nope, she's on another mission with Black Cat, Bishop and Luna Snow" Capt said
"Great; Thunderbolts?" Stark asked
"I don't see why we couldn't" Capt said
"Okay, THUNDERBOLTS TO THE BRIEFING ROOM ASAP" Stark called out.
"This is going to be interesting" Capt muttered
"Get down" Falcon stage shouted as the group hid as several more Doombots flew over head
"Looks like that Doom prick sent more" Hawks snarled.
"I don't care, but we have to keep hidden before they get us" Hawks said as he used his feathers to keep track of air currents to see if anyone was coming
"So give me the run down on the Serpent Society" Hawks sad
"They're basically unionized villains who snake theme" Falcon said as he continued on. Keeping an eye out for the serpents
"And I take it they're enemies of your Captain America?" Hawks asked
"You could say that" Falcon said before he stopped an raised his hand, only for him to pull out his shield, whirled around and blocked gunfire
"We have you now!" Sidewinder shouted as Asp and Black Mamba rant at them.
"HULK SMASH!" Hulk shouted rushing at them, swinging widely before he was held in Black Mamba's Darkforce bindings
"Now then" Asp said using her venom blasts to force Falcon back
"This is not good" Falcon panted as he tried to get up
"DON'T FORGET ABOUT ME!" Hawks shouted swinging his feather swords at Asp, who jumped back, avoiding each and every swing Hawks did "How long until back up arrives?"
"I don't know we're being jammed!" Falcon shouted as the Doombots landed and formed a barrier around them
"You're not going anywhere" Sidewinder smirked
"We're on our own aren't we?" Hawks asked
"Looks like it" Falcon grimaced
"Ah don't worry little bird, for Thunderbolts STRIKE LIKE LIGHTNING!" Red Guardian called out as they all landed
"I'm glad you're here Alexei" Falcon said
"Thunderbolts" Sidewinder scowled
"What are you doing here?" Asp asked
"Simple, kicking you ass" Songbird smirked.
"You think you can beat me?" Sidewinder asked
"Oh I know I can" Red guardian bashed his shield
"Easy Alexei" US Agent frowned "He's not your average mook"
"He's not?" Red Guardian asked
"No I'm not" Sidewinder stated as he ran at the pair
"SHIELDS!" US Agent shouted as the two raised their shields, where Sidewinder's kick landed before a third shield was thrown at them
"Thank you Captain America" Red Guardian called out
"That's Falcon Alexei" US Agent said
"And don't even think about taking the shield" Falcon warned
"I wouldn't dream of it" US Agent said as Sidewinder got back up on his feet.
"Come here little song bird" Asp said wrapping her legs around Songbird's neck and started to choke her, preventing her from making any noise meaning her attacks were useless
"HEY!" Hawks rushed over and kicked her in the head, only to dodge Black Mamba's attack. The two snakes were about to attack again when a fireball flew at them,
"What was that?" Hawks asked
"Ghost Rider" Songbird rubbed her neck
"you guys okay?" Ghost Rider asked as he walked over, his chain burning red hot
"Yeah we are" Songbird got up inhaled and shouted unleashing a shock wave at them, knocking the three snakes back
"Whoa chica, watch that voice of yours" Ghost Rider said
"I think it's a beautiful voice" Songbird smiled.
Sidewinder got back up on his feet and rushed them, grabbing and ripping the shield out of US Agent's hands before using it to smack Red Guardian way, Once the other shield users were down he ran at Falcon and smashed the stole shield against the one Falcon was using, making Falcon skid back a bit
"You're about to have your wings clipped" Sidewinder smirked pulling out his revolver and placed it against his shoulder and squeezed the trigger several times, the Vibranium suit blocking the bullets
'Thank you Shuri' Falcon mentally smirked as he slammed his head against Sidewinder's as he stumbled back, Walking up to the terrorist Falcon smashed his shield against the gun making it fly away in two pieces.
"Damn it" Sidewinder scowled before he was suddenly teleported away
"SIDEWINDER!" the snakes shouted before Songbird knocked them out and tied them up.
"Two snakes in the bag" Ghost Rider said
"Well done" US Agent nodded
"So two snakes and a brainiac, which once we get to the Ant-Hill we'll be getting answers" Falcon frowned
"Indeed, you have my word" The Leader said.
"The plan worked better than expected my liege" Sidewinder smirked as he walked up to Doom
"Oh?" Doom asked "Did you get Sterns?"
"Negative, but two of my agents are with him and soon will be taken to this Ant-Hill" Sidewinder stated
"so?" Mordo asked
"Simple, they each had a tracking device, which I will use to get on board their helicarrier, kill Sterns and then retrieve our captured comrades" Sidewinder smirked
"You thought a head" Doom smirked under his mask
"It is impressive" Mordo nodded
"But won't they have a way to prevent that?" Magento asked walking in
"Oh don't worry we have thought of that, haven't we?" he asked as a voice chuckled in the darkness.
"Which one of those I brought with me have you conspired with" Doom asked
"Oh please, I made this plan with Sterns and Charlton" Sidewinder said as a giant floating head with small limbs moved into view
"This plan is flawless and soon the Brave New World of our design will begin" MODOK said
"Very well, I look forward to seeing it, and it will distract them for what I have planned" Doom's eyes flashed green.
"Which is?" Mordo asked
"That boy, the one who wields the Darkforce." Doom said.
G'day Guys Grizz here, so this is the chapter that was influenced by Brave New worl with Falcon being the focal character, Hawks teaming up with him, the Leader being a plot point and the Serpent society being the main threat. Now let it be known that I don't knwo what the plot is outside of the trailers so I can't give you a clear enough rouygh outline of it so why not have the Leader know who Doom is hunting and yes i finally brought in the Doombots one of the most iconic things about the metal masked mayhem maker, but why is he after Deku? Oh well that will be for a later chapter and by later chapter I mean the final chapters.
