The bass was oddly familiar he had inquired about learning a new instrument. Richard found his desire to stand farther away from himself. And he was surprised a man by the name of Professor Xavier had overheard him and offered a solution Reed had made a few musical experiments and while risky shifted his years of piano with something less flashy something with a reputation as more supportive.

"You know how to play bass?" Adrian asked clearly surprised at the detail.

"I dabbled a bit, not everyone can practice on a piano." He shrugged and was pleased to find he couldn't play piano but he he could play bass now.

"Awesome that means we have all our bases covered," Rose giggled as everyone gave a playful groan.

"So who is lead guitar?" Adrian asked as Richard started to test his transferred talent as he started playing Barbie Girl as complicated as possible getting a combination of laughter and awe as he managed to fish out this mysterious lead.

"Someone is letting their soul sing," said a very chill guy. "Seems this bird got out of his cage." He said directly to Richard. "Looks like sis can play second guitar or even lead," he glanced at her as the shy girl shook her head Ivan glanced at them but said nothing.

"Yeah still working out the details it doesn't get more Rock and roll than a little rebellion."

"I like this one down with status quo," laughed who he guessed was Julikia's mom.

"Down with the machine!" Richard played a quick rift as the mom smiled.

"I like him," she told Luka, Adrien blinked in surprise at the radical variant as they were given some grief from Rodger.

"It's a music event." Adrian spoke up "Rodger the day has few exceptions to the music festival. If someone complains sound complaints can't be called in until after ten or else how would construction work get done." Adrian pointed out as Roger looked at him,

"Is that a real law?" Alya whispered,

"I don't know but It sounds like it makes sense," Adrian whispered back as Alya shook her head Rodger sighed even if he didn't take the kid's word for it the little detail of Adrian being well him, Rodger backed off.

"All right but don't make a habit of this," Rodger frowned at the group before departing as Anarka dusted her hands in satisfaction, it wasn't long before the pieces of of a band started to work together. Richard pulled back on his bass settling into a steady rhythm as Luka played lead. He glanced over as Adrian and Marinette sat next to each other and suddenly he felt a slight headache. However, he played through the set.

"So what's the collar?" Rose asked having no shame and all the curiosity he smiled,

"It's a memento, it reminds me of my old family," he pulled at it a little bit,

"Sorry," she apologized but he waved her off,

"It's no big deal, anyway how about a small break," he offered as he noticed that his double wasn't making any moves.

"So, Miss you doing anything this weekend?" he asked as she blinked at him,

"Well, I had a few plans," she admitted,

"Join me for a coffee date?" he leaned in as he noticed her smile looked a bit forced,

"Hey Richard you think you can help me with this?" Luka brought up as Richard gave him a look that all bit screamed "I know what you doing" as he stood up and looked over to see him tuning a bass.

"Sure, let me know if you are up for it, I know that Adrian got burned so if you are expecting him to ask you're going to be waiting a while," he smirked as both blushed and looked away from each other.

"You are being mean," Luka frowned at him as Richard got the idea that Luka didn't appreciate his actions and was probably second-guessing his inclusion in the band.

"It's jealousy," he admitted as Luka glanced at him not expecting the blunt response.

"Why?" Luka asked,

"She reminds me of someone I used to date but things ended up ending badly, while I wouldn't mind a second chance I don't feel comfortable, so maybe if she ends up with someone willing to stand up to me I might find a bit of peace," he admitted, with a hard sigh, "I don't even know why I am telling you this," he refocused on the bass as he felt his mood particularly darken.

"Richard!" Luka shouted as an Akuma landed on him however it shattered as the little bug flapped away. Everyone seemed very at a loss for words.

"What?" he asked, "You think my uncle wouldn't have a fail-safe?" he asked with a smirk as he played a few cords testing it out.

"We may want to alert the app," Luka pointed out as everyone watched as the little butterfly flew off.

"Is there even an alert for that?" Ivan asked as he put his sticks down, and looked at his phone.

"I am probably going to have to get going," Adrian stood up, "You got a second?" Adrian looked at Richard, as they got a few feet away, "What was that about?"

"I am trying to help," he answered,

"Well knock it off forcing something isn't going to do anyone any good." Adrian hissed back, "When did you get so different?"

"When did you lose your courage? You used to sing to anyone in Paris how much you loved Ladybug why are you so hesitant to make a move now?" Richard pushed back, "If you don't,"

"I am well aware but she might not even be straight," Adrian whispered back,

"What? What makes you think that?"

"Alternate reality the male version was dating a guy,"

"That was another reality, ask her and stop wasting everyone's time," Richard had no idea where his temper was coming from but something about the two dating was digging at his nerves.

"That worked so well, last time," Adrian paused as they both noticed Luka was talking with Marrinette. "She was dating that guy specifically," Adrian sighed as she giggled at something.

"That's what you get for waiting too long," Richard said feeling practically salty himself only to realize Adrian was gone.

"Adrian," Natalie glanced at him, "You seem a bit," he moved to hit the window but stopped just short before slumping.

"Why am I so bad at romance?" he asked as he sounded ready to cry.

"What happened?" she asked,

"I moved too fast the first time and now too slow, why I am so bad a relationships, or maybe nobody wants me they want ADRIAN," he curled up on himself. Natalie placed an arm around him, he almost pulled away but allowed the action. "Your mom didn't find your dad for another few years and even then she had to fight for it," she explained as he glanced at her. "And your parents didn't do you any favors keeping you away from the rest of the world for so long."

Pov shift

When people looked at Ivan they never really saw much. Fear was oftentimes the first reaction, it used to eat at him a lot but as that butterfly lingered around he had arguably his smartest idea. He drummed, he always preferred heavier music bands but you didn't learn the drums.

"Ivan this is serious," Juleka laughed as he did a drum roll as the butterfly lingered around them. thankfully the moth, butterfly thing got blasted by a green beam as everyone spotted Chat Noir who gave a slight wave.

"How did he know?" Ivan asked,

"They do patrols and he has really good hearing." Richard pointed out,

"I guess that makes sense," Ivan hummed about as much as anything he shrugged.

"It looks like your brother and Marinette are getting along," Rose noticed.

"yeah, I would prefer Marinette over Chloe regardless of her changes." Juleka brought up as Richard glanced at her.

"Blonde right she got Adrien's cousin, your brother seems nice maybe someone a bit harsher might keep his kindness from being taken advantage of." He pointed out.

"You do realize I am right here?" Luka spoke up,

"Jump on in waters fine, what are your preferences on this?" Richard asked as Luka seemed a bit surprised at the bluntness of the redhead.

"Why are you so interested?" Rose, "I am good friends with Marinette and want her to be happy."

"I want people to be happy but realize they only have so much time. Sitting around waiting you never know when you won't have someone and all you can think is why did I wait so long?" Richard said as he looked around Ivan shrugged he was lucky in that regard.

"kinda dark but I see your point every second is precious." Ivan spoke up, "So let's get back on track, " he gave the drums a small workout.

"I did come here to rock," Richard smiled as they got back on track.

POV shift

Lila rechecked the disguise when she found out the old man was an instructor she had already formed a plan. Once she was in she would shift to Adrian and if she got caught she could pretend she was Felix. She had everything memorized and soon she would have everything she needed to remove Ladybug and with that well the sky was the limit.

"I fear I may have forgotten something here," she said replicating Fu. The bodyguard frowned at him as if unsure of the excuse. However, the gates opened up and she was let in.

"Hmm," he grunted at her slow speed and was not happy that he was taking so long.

"It was a tablet, I need to use the restroom so if you would be so kind as to look for it it's very important for my work. The bodyguard pointed at the bathroom and headed off to Adrian's room. She swapped out into Adrian as she took off. She found the office and found the safe right where it was.

"Perfect," she quickly put in the combination as she found her target. She slapped down her gear as she quickly repaired the magical object.

"what are you doing in my office?" Gabriel's voice cut into the room. "You are not Adrian, no Don't!" He shouted,

"Spread my dark feathers!" She shouted as the uniform appeared around her. A long feathered cloak and hood speared over her form. "Bring my creation to life," Gabriel launched at her only to miss as suddenly the alarms went off. She leaped out breaking the window as a second alarm system went off. She dropped down as she plucked a small green goblin.

"I would have preferred an adult body," Norman frowned, "However given that computer alarm, I am not much of a position to complain."

"You see as a liar myself I don't trust someone so quick to betray." She pointed out as she realized she had grabbed a pumpkin off the desk to create the Amok

"fair, if I was the original this might be an issue however I am so many copies down I only have my prime directive but it is interesting to have emotions." The gremlin shrugged, Lila wasn't sure she believed it as she played with the pen in her hand making sure this Osborn never touched it. She touched down only to see a shadow grow around her.

"Hawkmoth!" She went wide-eyed as the masked villain dropped to the ground cracking cement with his staff as her miraculous beeped dangerously.

"Hand over your miraculous!" He demanded with more rage than she had ever heard in a human voice.

"Reveal your true self and delay him." She ordered as The small goblin grew into a green-skinned creature with a purple costume and a floppy hat. Hawkmoth soon found himself being crushed into a wall and being brutally fed his teeth. She had gotten more than enough distance as she took a bit of pleasure as she played with the pen. "You know what take his miraculous," she ordered as she felt a smile appear on his face. However, her victory started to falter as a red and blue streak smashed into the green figure just as he was ready to pluck the item.

The two natives of the planet were stunned. The pure speed that was being exercised. The explosion went off after a weird scream that tore into the area. A car was used as a club before appearing on a wall. It was like seeing an Olympic football champion come down to play with high school students.

"Escape as soon as possible," Lila ordered as she dropped down and headed home. Suddenly her body went weak She looked at the item and realized it had some cracks in it. "This better not have been intentional."

POV shift

Gabriel slumped well as much as he would slump if the suit was so expensive and the creases were not allowed.

"Gabriel," Natalie looked around for him before finding him standing in front of his computer. "You have some incoming phone calls."

"I am going to need some coffee, and I had a feeling this was going to come up. After the news reports came up." He sighed, as he reached for his phone.

"what happened you said it was locked up that we wouldn't talk about you know the threat this is to what's left of our families! Tell me you are doing something about this!" Amelie shouted so loud that he winced away from the phone.

"I am looking into it," Gabriel kept his cool, as his sister-in-law panicked.

"I am not sure how it happened the best idea I can come up with is that my system was hacked my son took the book and someone in the know must have figured I was worth investigating. I am going to deal with this so long as the thief doesn't know nothing bad can happen. Besides it's broken anyone who uses it is going to feel the effects and the more they use it the faster it speeds up."

"it only needs to be used once this isn't something we can brush under the rug with Hawkmoth running around we could be investigated on this and while it's not illegal I doubt public opinion will be sympathetic towards any of us." She warned before she hung up.

"What about Adrian?" Natalie spoke up after a few seconds.

"Would telling the boy benefit him? All it would do would stress him, or worse actively seek out the thief." he dismissed the idea with a wave of his hand.

"And if they realize, which isn't a stretch, they could blackmail you and your son." She urged,

"Not a concern once I get that wish it will no longer be an issue." He frowned as even he couldn't completely ignore how his wife would handle that comment.

Suddenly his phone went off "Parker," he created,

"Worry no longer I got the peacock," Peter told him as the two stared at each other before looking at the phone.

"Yeah I am not sure if I should deal with the goblin issue, however, you don't have to worry about anything." He gave Felicia a fond smile she had stolen the item Lila was just a kid and regardless of how unusual she was, she wasn't equipped to deal with her.

"Who stole from me?" He asked through gritted teeth.

"Not your concern, just know I'll be keeping a close eye on her and I will be reporting her to the authorities if given the opportunity."

"Parker I will not be denied," only for the phone to hang up. He gritted his teeth as Natalie relaxed a bit knowing Adrien was safe.

"Where is it!" She tossed her things around as she tried to find both her miraculous and the amuck? She found a letter. She let out a shriek of frustration as she tore it apart.

POV shift

"Seems as though Peter is less inclined to let things go." Osborn laughed as Gabriel spun around to see the traitor in the door way.

"You have a lot of nerve," he glared at him.

"I am sorry I am just not the kinda guy to be controlled I knew if I gave you what I needed you would keep me contained. As for the thief, she was the right combination of brave and stupid that I finally was able to free myself. Well, so long as Peter doesn't snap me out of existence but that's unlikely."

"You are playing a very dangerous game." Gabriel threatened only to get a calm smile on his face.

"Sure I am, anyway let's see what we have here," he walked past and pulled open the book. Gabriel gritted his teeth as he thumbed over a few pages, "this might be useful," he tapped his finger as Gabe couldn't help but wonder. "This will power up your Kwami, most of these are overall useless but this is a flight system that could help if you need it." He explained as Gabriel glared,

"Gabriel," Natalie warned as the man glanced at her.

"You will find that such things are not going to satisfy me, you have gone from possibly untrustworthy to proven. I would prefer you to keep your distance."

"Fair enough, I know when I am not wanted however I am going to want a few things for my silence if nothing else."

As the two men argued over money of all things Natalie took her leave this needed an expert's hands and while Peter was an active enemy of Gabriel's she doubted he would complain if she took some initiative. It was nice that he was so close as she was quick to ring, and she was a bit surprised when the gates opened up.

"Miss Natalie?" asked Richard as he glanced at her and folded his hands, "Something you need?"

"I need to talk to your father, uncle?" She second-guessed as she recalled that Peter wasn't actually his dad.

"Dad is fine, he did adopt me, he's down in his office," she blinked as she was sure a pair of white eyes blinked at her from inside his shirt.

"I hope the city isn't too much trouble," Natalie said as Richard shrugged,

"Nothing I am not used to," he answered as she figured having the mass of enemies she saw during the Sandboy incident probably meant his life at least involved some lesser level of that insanity.

"That is unfortunate," she sighed as he glanced back, "While it is good it's not getting to you I have found that so much insanity is wearing me down. I am getting to the point where I wish it would all end,"

"Not the kind of adventure you are looking for?" Peter asked as she sighed and nodded,

"Why am I not surprised that you did some background work on me," She had a tired smirk on her face before it faded only for Richard to offer her a chair which she took.

"Considering the nature of what I saw recently I was wondering if you had some means of protection against this new entity in the city," she eyed Richard

"Well I am thankful to say that yes I have found a way of warding him off, Ladybug has developed a new tool in her arsenal,"

"For Adrian's safety can you help," she asked not even trying to hide the defeat in her voice.

"Sure, you know he could always quit while he's ahead. "Peter tossed her a ladybug charm.

"keep it around the house, and it will ward him off," he explained,

"What about Adrian?"

"We made sure it's only an issue for him. Sadly I will be spending all of my free time to deal with him so if things go south I am afraid he won't be blaming me."

"I am sure he will," she sighed as she walked away.

"You know Miss Natalie you are an odd woman what exactly drives you to be so you?" He asked as she tossed the charm.

"It's a long story and I have a packed schedule." She walked off.

She walked back into the office and was a bit amused to see Norman winced at her. She wasn't too surprised that he had what looked like a chemistry set. "You are late, just cause I was dealing with him does not mean you can run off." He slowed as she slapped the charm as he looked at it. "Explain."

"I am doing your job as a parent, this will ward off our intruder Parker probably already has everything important tagged with these seems he is hell-bent on keeping Mr. Osborn as confined as possible." She glared at him but the redhead seemed unconcerned.

"Considering I killed his first fiancé and took his leg I am surprised he's not just killing me at this point but Parker has his morals." He chuckled however the amusement never reached his eyes.

POV shift

Adrian watched as the snow fell. He had warped up with a nice white coat fashion week was closing in which was swamping him thankfully between Alya and Chloe they had taken over after he let them know his job was going to be dragging him away. "Adrian, you seem quiet," Kagami spoke up

"Just one of those days where I am feeling a bit," he glanced around as nearly everyone around him seemed to be paired up in some way shape, or form. "Aware," he admitted, as Kagami glanced around before she looked at him.

"You want to go out for a date?" she asked in her calm tone as he just blinked in surprise,

"Sure, you got a time?" he asked knowing her mom was even stricter than his dad.

"I can come up with something," she shrugged, as Adrian had to at least give her props in that department.

"Okay, got anything in mind for a place to go?" he asked, as she paused at the idea.

"Not really, most of my manga usually have some kind of cafe but not really familiar with them," she admitted,

"I wouldn't mind, but I am not really all that hungry." he admitted "What about an experience like something have done before?" he offered,

"That's a very long list," she admitted as they both dipped into silence.

"Well, What about ice skating?" Chloe brought up as the two looked at her sudden appearance. "What I saw one not too long ago one of my runs looked pretty empty so you won't be bothered,"

"Thank you Chloe sounds like it would be fun," Kagami forced a smile,

"No problem," she walked off giving her peer a concerned look.

"She seems nicer than she used to be," Kagami pointed out as Adrian gave a soft smile.

"That's what I have been told, come on," he smiled,

Pov shift

"What is Chloe up to?" Marinette asked more herself than Alya who stood next to her.

"Um being nice?" Alya offered as Marinette gave her a look, "I know it sounds weird but the girls, not as mean, still rough but you know,"

"Alya this girl spent so much time bullying me, I am going to need more than just a month or two of peace before I even start considering that she has changed," she explained as school continued on.

"How bad was it?" Alya asked,

"Well I lost a good friend thanks to a nasty prank at the pool so yeah there is that," she said in a soft voice, "No I don't want to talk about it," she looked at Alya who put her hands up. "She might do something to Kagami," she figured even though she knew the real reason was that she wanted to keep an eye on her crush, "I still can't believe it was that easy for her," she muttered to herself.

"Well to be fair Adrian has turned down a lot of girls over the school year already," Alya pointed out as Marinette froze then slowly turned to look at her friend.

"What?" she asked as her internal fears spiked only then did Alya realize that she had screwed up.

"Oh girl it's nothing just some girls from the other classes nothing crazy or anything," she put on a smile that looked very forced.

"Alya?" she asked "What has been going on?"

"Some of the other girls started asking him out, and well he turned so many down that it became a bit of a thing. Adrian kinda got a nickname as the Ice King, since the sunny part of him vanishes and he turns them down, he's been asked out at least once a day since he started coming to school," she admitted as Marinette felt split on the one hand Adrian was, well not anymore, available but how many girls had asked that she hadn't known about? she had thought she had his every move logged in. She needed to be more vigilant if something like this slipped her notice, but that meant when Kagami asked there was something about her that he found worth a date. "Is it me is the icy demeanor the lack of any social skills?" she tossed her hands to the side, "Don't give me that look I am perfectly normal, well okay mostly normal with one minor hiccup,"

"I mean fair from what I heard you seemed okay around Luka," Alya gave her the point as Marinette frowned at her "Girl you're not the only one I talk to around here,"

"I need to figure out a way to look into this, Luka," she wondered if he wouldn't be okay with helping her out he seemed nice enough, however, the idea of asking him to go on a fake date didn't seem to bother her.

"I see smoke seems like someone thinking hard," Nino pointed out as he put an arm around Alya.

"Maybe a real date?" she considered as both Alya and Nino looked at each other however the idea didn't seem to put her into a tizzy as it did with Adrian. "Okay," she with a bit of resolve. "I am going to ask out Luka," she decided as both of her friends looked at each other as they only heard a few of her thoughts.

"Um is that a good idea your not just using him are you Julika wouldn't appreciate that," Alya said,

"What no, I was thinking we could go to the park or something, I just realized that while I get the warm fuzzies around Luka I don't feel that trepidation like I do with Adrian and I want to know why is it something about him? Me? Adrian I mean it's just the one date it's not like I expect us to go steady or something." She admitted,

"That's very introspective," Alya admitted but she seemed unsure about this. "It just feels a bit sudden you have had a thing for him since the first day of the school year," she pointed out.

"Maybe that's a good thing?" Nino pointed out, "Worked for us when well, I tried to date Marrinette and ended up dating you," Alya looked at him as Marrinette brightened at the idea knowing that it worked out for one of her oldest friends.

"Juleka?" She asked as the girl in question nearly jumped.

"Oh hey Marinette, something I can help you with?"

"I was wondering if I could have your brother's number I wanted to ask him out." She admitted as Rose let out a gleeful squeal at the idea. Juleka seemed to consider it.

"Sure," she answered with a bit of restraint as something snapped. They glanced around but didn't see anything.

"I'll send him a text to let him know." She told her as Marinette nodded and headed to her seat.

She sat down as a bit of anxiety hit but nothing as bad as with Adrian. She was a bit surprised to see him waiting outside the school.

"Some people," Chloe scoffed as she, Sabrina, and Zoe walked off.

"So park got something in mind?" He asked as they fell in step with each other.

"Not you, you seem nice and this is weird but I was curious about why it felt so easy asking you out." She admitted,

"Maybe I am lower maintenance?" He offered as the two walked into the park. "You did a great job on the costume do do other work?" He asked,

"Yeah it's my pride and joy," she went on to talk and it became easier the two just talked. The cold weather seemed distant.

"I," she paused as She caught something from the corner of her eye.

"Something wrong?" He asked, "I thought I saw something someone."

"Who?" He asked as she saw the older brother's side of her date.

"Chloe," she hissed, as Luka looked confused,

"Why would she be here?" He asked as he looked around.

"Like she needs a reason," she growled as she stared forward and the idea of her around was enough to anger her.

"I take it you have a bad history with each other." He said as she noticed he was looking uncomfortable.

"yeah let's go get something to snack on," she noticed a cafe ready to leave the conversation. He thankfully dropped the conversation. The bell rang as they were asked to wait and ended up getting a couple of hot chocolates. The bell rang, and a familiar voice started.

"You did great," Adrian said with a smile,

"I kept falling," Kagami shook her head.

"Only a few times, you were amazing." Adrian smiled,

"Not as good as you," she pointed out in a calm tone.

"How do you think I knew the place? He asked, "Just about anything a model can model I have, so I know a bit of everything. Hardly Olympic worthy." He stepped up to order.

"You are not what I expected," she said as he gestured for her to order.

"What did you expect?" He asked,

"Adrian," Chloe walked in, "oh," she looked at Kagami. "I, when you are done can you talk to me I need a friend." She refused to look in her direction, before leaving.

"She seems odd," Luka admitted as Adrian and Kagami whispered to each other.

"She's just mean, I would feel better if we never saw each other." She admitted as Luka looked at her.

"Tell me what makes your song so harsh." He asked, she took a deep breath. It said a lot that she couldn't remember everything.

"... mind you this isn't everything just what I can remember." She took a deep sigh and looked at her cooled drink.

"I never would have imagined," Luka admitted, "Every time I ran into her she seemed pleasant enough if not unwillingly nice." He admitted as she paused.

"What?" She frowned as something seemed to take root.

"She chased off a bully my twin was dealing with we run into each other when we go jogging."

"You hang out with her?" She swallowed as she suddenly felt a very familiar sensation.

"I wouldn't call us friends or anything but she pops up. She even orders pizza and I deliver it but usually she asks Zoe if she knows it's me."

"Right, well it's getting late I need to head home. School and all." She gathered her things Luka didn't make any sudden moves.

"Did I say something wrong I am sorry just being honest?" He looked concerned, however for a second she saw Kim sitting across from her.

"It's not that I need to think I'll text you when I get home." She quickly walked off thankful Luka remained still.

She ran home and ignored her parents as they called after her. She climbed up to her bed nook as Tikki floated out. "What changed?" She asked herself

"Are you okay?" She gently floated before.

"I thought Luka was different than Adrien I thought I would be fine, but," she suddenly remembered a trip to the pool a date with Kim and bugs. "Oh," she realized.

"Oh? I guess you understand something?" Tikki asked as slowly nodded.

"Yeah I really hate Chloe," she sighed as she soon found some snacks on her floor.

POV shift -earlier in the day

"Chloe," Zoe all but ran over as she packed up for the day.

"Zoe," she said mildly annoyed as Zoe seemed far too excitable.

"Marinette," she started,

"I don't care what baker girl is doing," she dismissed as Sabrina grabbed her backpack and she shoulder

"Luka," she said and she could almost feel something snap.

"I thought she was perusing Adrian?" She answered only to consider her own snappy response, "Not that I care he's just a delivery boy," she waved off as the two girls looked at her as she remained still. She growled as she went to the window and saw the pair. She "kept an eye on them" a few close shaves. However, her anger cooled and eventually, all she was was, was depressed.

"Adrian?" Zoe noticed as Chloe looked up to see her oldest friend waiting in line at the cafe. She was going to kill her sister when she noticed Kagami as she questioned Adrian for wanting to date a girl whose parent was just as bad as his own. Those two getting together would end with their parents being in charge for the rest of their lives.

"You could have warned me," Chloe hissed at her sister.

"Sorry," as she got that hurt puppy look whenever her frustrations flared up. She sat back down as she felt her face heat up from embarrassment.

"I am Chloe! I should not be feeling these emotions." She sat there frustrated with herself and everything. She was feeling so many emotions that her tears started unwarranted. She heard some feet crunch the snow.

"Not am not in the mood Zoe, or Sabrina whoever you are." She tried to sound as authoritative as possible as someone sat down and she was pulled into a hug.

"Take your time," Adrian said in a soft kind tone one she hadn't heard in a long time. The damn broke it was ugly and messy and she would never admit it ever happened. "Why why why why! I gave up on you and I tried to move on and I thought he was kinda cute and then she had to date him (hiccup), and, and why is it I can get whatever stupid thing I can have it but the second I take interest in she has to swoop in and take it!" She pleaded as she even smacked her hand against him. "It's not fair she won't stop popping into my life, it's not fair!" She sobbed into his coat.

He didn't say anything Zoe always had something to say and Sabrina agreed to whatever she said but Adrian was always there a quiet calm pillar he was frustratingly perfect. "I know you're just here to keep me from being akumatized." She leaned on him her eyes open but not looking.

"I still have hope," he finally said, "Besides, have I ever needed a reason?" He asked,

"You are going to get taken advantage of being so nice." She stood up ready to move on from this when her phone went off.

"Shit," Adrian cursed as she blinked in surprise at his comment. "We need to go." He said and she was all too ready.

She took off when her phone went off.

pov shift

"Kill me," Marinette groaned as she found herself locked up in a cell.

"You have been found guilty of violating,"

"The Chloe law?"

"The sis system," Sabrina popped a bubble of gum as Marinette blinked.

"The what?"

"The sis system, it's like the bro code only we made it up," Zoe smiled as Marinette wanted to smack her head on the bars.

"Sounds like a kangaroo court," she frowned.

"Ahem," Sabrina cleared her throat.

The two had taken on the appearance of police one had blue skin, Zoe, the other red with Whine lines over the costume and skin.

"Right," Zoe winced as she drew up a book. "The accused has shown behavior unbecoming of a member of the sisterhood. After perusing the first subject of Chloe's affection Adrien Agreste. Chloe was found lacking. So she shifted only for you to suddenly abandon Adrian," Marinette winced at the wording. "Going after the new interest Luka, Cafe? Um Couffaine," she looked at the book. "Sorry, my French still needs some work," Zoe admitted.

"Officer Zoe!" Sabrina growled,

"So me accidentally snipping Luka for a date makes up for all the Bullying she's done to me?" She asked looking very annoyed "Look at what she's done and me accidentally going on a date with the guy his hardly equal!"

"well," Sabrina floundered.

"She is trying, your high horse kinda kicked you off when you started antagonizing Lila, you seem to be happy playing the victim but when boys are involved you seem downright mean." Zoe snapped as Marinette blinked the shift was wild.

"Okay," she thought as Zoe listed off a few charges against Lila.

"You know having this all listed if I can see where Lila gets her ammo," she thought as a knock as Ladybug kicked in the door.

"Ladybug?!" All three girls shouted as her Yo-yo as the two were swatted away.

"How?" She thought to herself. 'Ladybug' rushed the door as she pulled out a set of lock-picking tools.

"Eat web!" Arachnid shouted as the two kicked over a Desk and took cover.

"No freeing the criminal!" Zoe rushed 'Ladybug' who ducked her hand slipping between the bars as Marinette grabbed the arm pinning her to the cell door as the door clicked open.

She was scooped up as the fake Ladybug started dodging the cuff launchers that she had gotten tagged with. "Ladybug we charge you with crimes against the System!" They shout as Gael appears down the hall.

"Small reminder you are helping a guy steal from a member of the sisterhood." 'Ladybug pointed out.

The wall suddenly shattered behind them. "What?" Everyone seemed shocked as a giant grey machine tore after them.

"Bolt!" Gael shouted as the machine just took it.

"If only the really ladybug was here," Ladybug said as she quickly broke free the three managed to just escape and Alya took to the sky as a massive tornado wind hit the machine. Which slowed it down.

"You should be safe here," Ladybug suddenly, shattered showing off a Fusion of Trixx and Plagg. The ears were much longer his tail was now a fox tail and while mostly black you could see an orange tip to the the tail. He had a v line to the chest with an orange triangle giving the suit a coat-like look.

"Would appreciate not telling anyone I had to cover for ladybug. Diffuse," he smiled as he glanced, "I really shouldn't but, you want to be a hero for a day? I know Ladybug has picked out a Rena but I have no idea who that is," he offered as he held out the necklace.

"Thanks but, I am not sure I could use the powers effectively," she curled his claws back over the fox. "Good luck." She stepped back hoping he would take the hint.

"Bummer see you around beautiful," he spiraled off the building. She took the distraction to slip back into the building.

"Tiki! Spots on!" She shouted as she got to the ground floor just as the Rhino rushed past with the sounds of shouting filling the air. "We need to regroup!" She said over her yo-yo as everyone nodded.

"Kinda hard," Nino shouted as the gray machine ripped apart the webbing Nino tried to pin the thing down.

"Cataclysm!" Chat Noir shouted as the machine disintegrated.

"You couldn't have done that sooner?" Nino asked as they landed next to her. He looked at her for a second before he landed.

"It's hard to just drop everything, sorry," he apologized as Nino shook his head the heat dissipated as he understood all to well.

"Sorry," Alya apologized as they looked at her in confusion.

"Remember that time my sister was using you for pinning practice." She pointed out.

"Wait you two know each other's identities?" Queen asked.

"They dated the rule with Peter is your significant other is required to know if the relationship is serious. Secrets can ruin you if you don't trust them with the truth may be a bad idea for long-term love." Chat pointed out. "Incoming," they ducked a pair of handcuffs.

"The guardian disagrees so you get his nobody but the delivery person can and is sworn to secrecy," she reminded the tree chosen from the miraculous box.

"We need to figure out where the Akuma is," Queen brought up as she seemed more focused than the rest.

"Yeah but the Rhino is weird," Marinette admitted as she looked at the remains of the machine.

"I don't think that's part of the Akuma." Alya hummed.

"Claws in," Chat Noir suddenly, said only for to remember the extra costume as he gave Plagg some cheese. "Friday you got anything on this?" He asked "Rhino replica of old foe of spider-man no residual cosmic energy."

"I get the feeling things are going to be getting interesting if nothing else." Nino hummed as they jumped back into action.

"I think the Akuma is in the badges," Queen spoke up apparently using the time to study. She followed the idea and noticed that the Badges looked like they were each a third of a larger item.

"Like A friendship necklace!" she realized, "We probably need to put it all back together to break it and get the Akuma out. That means we need Chloe's part?" she wasn't sure as she glanced at Alya who would be the only one who could know, well maybe?" she glanced at Nino. Both shrugged,

"I don't know anything outside the news article that said Zoe was related to the mayor, so she could have made friends,"

"Well, who else do they know in common?" Queen raised her voice in annoyance.

"How do you know?" Marinette asked as the blonde was starting to remind her of someone she looked at Chat and wondered if Queen was the only one outside of Chat himself that she didn't know and was intentionally asked to remain in the dark.

"I am sure I can talk to Chloe she does seem to like her sister so I doubt she would complain," Chat hummed, "I am sure Ladybug and the rest of you can get the badges but keep your phones close in case someone gets locked up." He glanced at Queen, "Oh try to see if your power works when it comes to stealing from them, that's kinda what we wanted to test out," he walked past her and pushed her forward walking past. She watched as he slipped something into his pocket. "Claws out," he dashed forward.

"Got it," she said as her tail seemed to take on an orange color as she nodded and headed down. "I'll keep to the shadows and try to keep things obscured just in case this works we don't want him finding out how," she suddenly turned invisible as everyone jumped in surprise.

"I don't remember that being a power she could do," Nino blinked however Chat was long gone,"

Nino and Alya split the pair up as she leaped in she spun her Yo-yo and deflected the handcuffs one sudden incarceration was enough for today. However, Sabrina was so focused on her when the lightning hit her body seized up. Alya reached around grabbed the badge and tossed it to her. "I'll keep her here you go help Arachnid." Alya volunteered as she nodded. She showed up to see Nino with the badge as Zoe was spun up.

He tossed it her way as Queen landed tossing the final part of the charm."There we go," she broke the combined charm as she freed the butterfly and she shouted "Miraculous Ladybug!" The swarm raced across Paris.

Nino helped up Zoe who kept apologizing as she freaked out. However, a massive thunderbolt clapped down as everyone looked confused. Nino blitzed past her as she and Queen raced after.

POV shift

Alya felt her chin as she saw a bit of blood on her gloved hand as she looked up at the now repaired machine. She had used her power to give it one massive blast but the damn thing just tanked it and she was now on a time limit.

She flew back up into the air to put some distance between her and her attacker as she watched it leap from building side to building side just missing her leg as it tried to pull her back down. Suddenly something clipped her nearly knocking her back to the streets.

"Sorry about that didn't see you," said a familiar voice as that flying spy from before floated in the air his neck craned forward like a vulture as she was now worried the man had been waiting for a situation like this so he could snag a miraculous and this was just his first opportunity. She didn't have time to dwell as the Rhino had charged and nearly managed to smack her out of the sky but she was nearly clawed as she realized the trap to low or too high she couldn't keep track of both of them at once.

Blinding pain interrupted her thoughts as the machine knocked her out of the sky. She hit the ground hard. "Oh I did not get started just for some machine." She grumbled as a shadow loomed over her. "Crap," she got out as both arms went up she flinched but the hit never came down. She opened her eyes to see Queen and Nino grabbing webs and keeping their arms restrained.

"No don't move just stand there this isn't difficult!" Queen all but shouted as she slid along as Nino kept his footing.

"Cataclysm!" The machine turned as Chat dropped in front of her. "You okay?" He asked as Ladybug rushed forward she swore the heroine had looked terrified for a second but she blinked and she seemed normal.

"Um, so how do we fix this one?" Nino asked as he looked at the mess around them.

Nobody had an answer as the cops showed up Ladybug explained the situation appropriately the machine was set off first and was considered separate so when it was destroyed it was repaired alongside everything else.

"Thankfully nothing too bad I am sure we can get this fixed up." Nino snapped his fingers his power was so rarely used sometimes that he put his hands down and good as new. Roger breathed a sigh of relief as everyone scattered to the winds.

pov shift

The hotel roof was now becoming here meeting ground. "Did I screw up?" Chloe muttered as she looked at the text Chat had sent her. She turned only to bump into his chest, his very defined chest. She looked up with a bright smile.

"the opposite you did incredibly, I was so proud he set down something and some balloons as he picked her up and spun her around she just blinked as a weird sensation crept over her. She continued to blink as he put her back on her feet.

"I did?" She got out "is that Melopita?" She asked as she spotted the Greek honey-flavored huney pie. "And lobster as well, did you get me my favorite?" She was ready to dig in completely forgetting her earlier worry,

"Costume just in case," he pointed out as Stingg popped up as she transformed.

"How did you know what I liked?" She asked Chat suspiciously.

"I talk to Stingg remember," he pointed out as he pushed her chair in for her as he opened up his own food.

"Fair," she shrugged,

"Well with you popping out the idea of a secret weapon is kinda wasted so we feel it's a good time to officially bring you into the fold." He brought up after a few bites.

"I get to meet Ladybug?!Like officially?" She perked up completely forgetting she was supposed to be angry at Ladybug over something important.

"Yeah, you already know Mr. Parker so welcome officially to the team. She pulled him into a Hug witch surprised both of them

"Yes," she squealed in delight as she danced "Something that's mine I did it!" She rounded on him Chat blinked as she pulled him back into another bone-crushing hug. "

"I am so proud of you," he smiled as she lifted him into the air. "Do you need a moment?" He asked as her vision blurred. She set him down as she took a second to compose herself.

"Thanks for everything," she said as he returned to his food.

"I just gave you an opportunity, you had to walk the walk, tomorrow can you handle joining Ladybug and me on our patrol?"

She was so excited the next day she could tell everyone was aware that she was happy "Hi, Marinette," she waved as she walked past the girl who just blinked at her a rather funny response she might do it again.

"You seem excited," Zoe spoke up during lunch.

"Yep," she admitted,

"Is that cause mom is visiting?" Zoe asked sounding concerned.

"What?" Good day slightly dimming.

"Oh here," Zoe passed Sabrina a purse as the spectacled girl giggled at her new purse.

"she's here for the show that includes the contest that the school hosted." Sabrina reminded me as Chloe glanced over at Adrian.

"Does he look bigger to you?" They all paused but nobody questioned Chloe who didn't want a reminder as a small feeling of shame hit her chest even if she would never admit it.

"Yeah, he looks bigger." Zoe agreed as she looked up. "Dad?" She questioned,

"Dad?" Chloe turned, "Dad," she smiled as wondered when Zoe started to call her dad, dad.

"Was wondering if you wanted to join me in picking up your mother." Nobody was super excited about the idea but it seemed that something forced her to say.

"Yes," she agreed as the two sisters said goodbye. Chloe sat and waited in silence.

"You seem quiet," Dad said to her after a while.

"Mom's always been distant and I always wanted to make her proud, but I kinda decided to move on. I am not sure what to expect." She admitted, Her father nodded as he drew himself up as they exited the limo as the sounds of the airplanes flew over them. "Andy, Clara, Zela," Good to see you she said as she walked on with her glasses obscuring her eyes. Nearly everyone winced at the incorrect names.

"It's good to see you my dear I hope your flight wasn't too taxing," Dad greeted as Cloe elbowed him when he started to hunch a bit. He went wide-eyed as he straightened. This caused her mother to pause a bit however Chloe only saw her reflection looking back at her.

"It was horrible, if it wasn't for Gabe asking for me to be here personally I wouldn't have bothered, now come darling I wish to unwind a bit before I am wowed by this year's new Agreste line." She headed towards the exit as Jean grabbed her Luggage and raced to the limo door with just enough time to open the door as she slipped inside. She sat across from her mother as Zoe and her dad sat on opposite sides of her.

The ride back home was quiet and dinner wasn't much louder, "You seem to have made yourself at home Zena," she commented as she looked at Zoe as she took a light sip of her wine.

"Yes Mother, Chloe has made sure of it," Zoe shrunk a bit in her shoulders as once again her mother turned to look at her.

"Good, seems you good for something," she returned to her food as Chloe frowned a bit at her mother even if it went ignored. She got a message from her phone that Chat gave her.

"I need to go, it was something Mother," Chloe walked off the room was silent, as she headed up to the roof, Jean tried to help but she dismissed him. "Stingg, needle rise," She declared as her costume formed as she sent a message via her gauntlet. She took off it wasn't long before she found the group. Ladybug stood in the middle a soft look to her even as her body stood as ready as ever. Arachnid had his arms crossed behind his back and stood close to Gale who was sitting on the ledge of the building her legs crossed she seemed the happiest to see her. Chat leaned against a brick chimney and was playing with his staff the most playful and relaxed out of all of them.

"You are a bit behind," Ladybug said but if she was disappointed she didn't show it.

"Family dinner," she grimaced, "Sorry about that,"

"I know the feeling," Gale stood up and walked over to her, "I didn't get a chance to say this to you, but thank you," she said as she pulled her into a hug. A warm sensation one that she only felt when she did something for Zoe, the kind of thing she would never admit to. She felt horribly uncomfortable, Chat gave her an amused smile as she slowly returned the hug. "You new to hugs?"

"I don't get them very often," she admitted,

"Well Chat did say this was a chance for her so, can't say I am not too surprised, anyway let's get this show on the road Gale and I will take to the north, I think Badger is already out, and about to the east,"

"I'll go east then, if you and Chat can take the south it would make things easier we all head west and meet up there before turning in, if you see anything you can help with don't hesitate to do so," Ladybug swung off first.

"Badger?" Chloe asked,

"Bright Badger, um right you weren't told about that one," Arachnid rubbed the back of his neck uncomfortable.

"I'll explain, come on," Chat nodded as the two leaped off as Chloe raced along the rooftops. Chat explained that the one known as Badger was a version of himself from a future that couldn't be she vaguely remembered something about that sort of thing.

"Right okay, I think I get he's you but not really," she took a second to help someone from losing their balance as they struggled with too many items. "Stop smiling at me like that," she leaped up next to him.

"Sorry I can't help it I am just so proud," she rolled her eyes at the comment as she took off with Chat Noir close behind her. They lagged behind a bit as she took the time to help out around the city the emotions and the gratitude for the people around her made her sigh as she continued to push away the truths that were slowly whispering in her ear truths she did not want to hear.

"Mommy I want a queen doll can I have one please, please please," a little girl begged as she watched the mother walk her daughter away a smile of gratitude as she returned to her daughter a smile of love on her face as plain as the stars in the sky.

"This job changes you doesn't it," she said as Chat Noir put a hand on her shoulder.

"If you are doing it right, when I first started all I saw was the freedom, to live life on my terms not bound by, me." He paused as if searching for the right words "but as I keep going out day after day I am no longer the same cat that I was, and now neither are you," he patted her on the shoulder, "Come on its getting late and we need to regroup," he vaulted himself up to the roofs as she leaped onto a lamp post after him.

She saw everyone pulse a man in a blue and yellow costume waiting as Ladybug looked over a magazine of some kind. "This is insane, Chat Noir I need an explanation," she slapped the magazine onto his chest as he glanced down in confusion he grabbed it and went wide-eyed as he looked at the cover it was a picture of Chat Noir and Scorpian Queen hugging on the hotel roof. The title read "Chat Noir moving on? New Queen for the prince of Paris?"

"What?" she said as she looked at the title and then at Chat for one horrible second she wondered if that was his real angle to get in her pants or something, she watched his face as he flipped open the pages and looked it over.

"Dude?" Arachnid frowned as nearly everyone was staring at him with some level of concern or disappointment.

"Looks like someone thinks I am dating you," he chuckled as he looked at her before he rolled his eyes. "Must be a Tuesday." he laughed it off as he handed Ladybug back the magazine. "Surprised they didn't print this sooner, that was our celebration of bringing Queen into the fold she was so happy she hugged me I don't date in costume, and well I am a bit gun shy after the last time," he smiled at Ladybug. "Don't worry Queen is growing but she is far from the kinda girl I would be interested in. I have my eyes on a girl from my school so no worries there."

Chloe looked over at Badger and she noticed he was laughing to himself as he looked at the article. Chat rolled his shoulders and with everyone more or less satisfied with his answers he headed off first. She looked back at the magazine and then pulled her legs close to her chest. "You know I would, wouldn't say no if he asked me out," she admitted as everyone looked at her, "I am not sure he feels like the first genuine friend I have had in a long time not sure if I would want to give that up, well see you next time," she stood up she kinda expected to be more upset but she was Chloe Bourgeois she was done crying over relationships she didn't have no one would break her now she was a Hero of Paris and that would never change she was the old Chloe no more."

AN: For Lila I couldn't think of a way for her theft to completely work thanks to the energy tracking. I am not done with her but I am less inclined to let her get away with whatever she wants.

This chapter is focusing on the gray parts Sorry if you want more Ladybug and Chat Noir but I am starting to see how the story ends thinking a total of about thirty chapters with maybe a Nino spin-off. We shall see.

As for Chloe, I find myself warming up to the character a bit at least the one I am writing about I love a good redemption arc however I was never to beat up over her backslide even if I can understand why others would. However, Chloe in this one won't mainly cause of how and why her change was brought on, even at her most Heroic Chloe was always doing it for the wrong reasons, she wanted glory, to be exceptional. However thanks to a little coaching Adrian learned to be a hero at all times and passed on those lessons and lived them out in costume. So his breaking point hits sooner and since she has nobody she really looks up to fall back on she is forced to deal with the consequences. When she gets to bond with her mom I kinda felt that was the nail in the coffin of true redemption. Head-canon aside my overall explanation for the wild way the series has gone with her since yeah that's not going to flow with my overall tone as much as I love the highs of the recent seasons this Cat won't be sitting out any climactic events. As for Chloe put her life on the line for another and she got what she wanted to be told that she is something, which from what I remember that's always been her motivation it's just now come in a way she wouldn't have expected which in my humble opinion is the best way it comes. As for Mari I don't feel she should ever be forced to forgive in the series she has every right not to have Chloe on the team and in my story both her and Peter have issues with bullying and with all the backstory about Chloe most your going to get of these two is them being able to sit in a room quietly.
