For three days White isolated herself from the other Rainbow Friends since the incident with Gray. Refusing to breathe a word to any of them or attend their parties, only leaving her tower occasionally to use the bathroom or to grab some food or water, shunning anyone she passed.

The others tried all that they could to convince her to speak with them again but she remained stubborn to the bitter end.

"White come on!" Called Green who stood outside of her tower. "You can't stay up there forever!" He was met with silence. "I know you're there. I may be blind but I can hear you breathing. My other senses have heightened over the years you know."

He tried reaching one of his long, gangly, arms into the tower for her since he was too big to climb inside. But White made sure to evade his touch as best she could.

"White?"

She remained silent. Green had to accept defeat for another day. "I-I'll talk to you tomorrow I guess." He left the wing, the squeaks from his footsteps fading away.

Red ran for his life down the hall, being chased by a multi colored monstrosity. Purple watched from the ventilation, Orange ran to help, and Green ran alongside Red, hoping for some answers.

"Come on Green, keep up!" He panted.

"Red! Why is this happening," demanded green with a glare, "another one of your crazy experiments?"

"This isn't my fault this time!"

"Yeah. Likely." Green doubted before suddenly being caught and pinned to the ground by the monster.

"Green!" Red cried.

With a tremendous suck, the beast inhaled Green's color in it's mouth.

"Taste the rainbow." it said before regurgitating a plethora of color onto green, turning him from a pale shade to an entire rainbow.

"Hey, this isn't so bad," said Green his distress turning to sudden delight. "Yes, yes! this actually feels good!" as soon as he fully turned into a multi-colored monstrosity, Green stood, laughing. "Taste the rainbow Red!"

"Never!" said Red, "There's still time to fix this, I know it!"

Red ran away again with the two colorful monsters pursuing him, when Orange appeared, running alongside the scientist.

"Orange!" said Red, "Glad to see you're safe."

"These rainbow creatures are everywhere!" said Orange, "They already got Pink and Yellow! I don't know how much more of this we can take!"

"Is White safe?" asked Red.

"I dunno," answered Orange, "she might still be in her tower."

"Well head over to her wing and make sure she's safe. Then meet me at my lab, we'll work on a way to fix all of this!"

"I hear ya loud and clear!"

The two split up, Red hurried to his lab while Orange dashed to White's wing, unfortunately the two rainbow monsters had the same idea and had also split up to go after the two.

"White!" called Orange, entering White's wing and approaching her tower. "White, are you up there?" When she didn't answer he climbed inside to find her sitting cross legged away from the entrance. "Oh, good. You're safe. White listen we gotta get outta here!"

But as soon as she realized he got inside, White suddenly tried to shove him out. "Get out!" she cried angrily, "Get out of here!" But Orange resisted and tried to shove back.

"No, No, No! White! You gotta listen! It's urgent!" cried Orange, hastily. Fighting against her.

"I said get out!" She shrieked.

"White I know you're still mad but you gotta understand!" Said Orange only to finally be shoved out of the ivory tower and onto the floor, which was thankfully padded in case a child fell from the equipment.

Suddenly the rainbow monster appeared, towering over Orange before picking him up by the ankle. White watched from her tower, shocked, as the beast sucked away Orange's color until he was completely pale from head to toe.

"Give me… my color back!" he cried before the monster regurgitated a rainbow onto him. "No! No! NOOOO!" The dino was dropped then stood back up after becoming another multicolored monstrosity. He stood back up on his little feet before turning to White in her tower. Completely changed.

"Mmm, pretty tasty." He said, "White you gotta try this."

Scared, White recoiled back inside when rainbowfied Orange climbed into her tower once again after her.

"No stay away!" She cried as Orange made to corner her to the wall.

"C'mon White!" Urged Orange, "try it! You know want to!" He lunged at her, only to miss and hit the wall when she dashed out of the way and leapt down the slide. But by the time she reached the bottom, the hulking rainbow creature towered over her, grabbing her when she tried to escape, holding her at arms length.

As scared as White was, she remembered something that she knew would save her life. "You're wasting your luck," she said smugly. "I have no color!" She would soon grow to regret that when the beast had suddenly horked up a plethora of color anyway.

Spewing it all over her as she screamed.

The monster dropped her newly technicolored form. She wobbled back onto her feet, startled from what had happened but overwhelmed at the sudden new power coursing through her very being.

"This… this feels… amazing." She gasped, astonished and filled with the urge to get other rainbow friends to experience the same.

Meanwhile, Red met up with Purple in the ventilation.

"Purple, you're alive!" Said Red, leaping into the vent with Purple.

"That's right, once the others started going nuts I took to my vents quickly," explained Purple. "You gotta get to your lab right? To make this all go away?"

"That's the plan."

"No problemo," Purple lead Red down a random direction in the vent. "It's this way, follow me."

In a pac-man like fashion, the two remaining Rainbow friends crept through the vents, thankfully Purple had such a good sense of direction, before finding themselves where they needed to be.

"Here we are," announced Purple, he and Red leaving the vents.

Little did either of them know, the rainbow hoard had found them as well. The first monster grabbed Purple from behind, ready to take his color too.

"Purple!" Red gasped helplessly.

"Give me your color!" Growled the beast before inhaling Purple's color as well. The slender rainbow friend yelled in horror as his beautiful purple color was sapped away from his form. The monster turned to the other three rainbowfied friends that waited outside the door.

"Now comrades," it said tossing a now pale Purple in their direction. "Prepare the feast!"

Purple screamed as he was thrown into the crowd of colored zombies outside who made quick work of him while their leader confronted Red.

Red knew he was cornered at this point, but he wasn't about to go down without a fight.

"Are you ready to accept your fate?" Asked the rainbow monster.

"No! I won't let you turn me into one of your mindless monsters!"

"You don't have a choice," the beast went at Red, making to kick him. "Take this!"

The two fought tooth and nail until Red managed to shove the creature into a nearby water pipe, breaking it until water flowed onto the monster.

Much to Red's surprise the colors on the beast's body seemed to have started to melt away from the water revealing the monstrosity to be none other than Blue himself.

Blue opened his one eye to see Red who stood baffled by what just happened.

"Red! You saved me!" Cried Blue.

"Blue!" Said Red, confused. "You're the rainbow monster?"

"That's right, but thanks to you I'm myself again."

"Blue, listen to me very carefully. All of the rainbow friends are still very much in danger, why don't you tell me what happened so I can think of a better way to save them? We don't have much time!"

"Well okay then," Blue's expression turned to that of guilt. "It's all my fault Red. Let me start at the beginning."

Blue went on to explain how he and the other rainbow friends were tired of being rainbow friends and wished they could be anything else if not human.

Blue, although the large, strong, leader of the group, having awesome friends and spending more time with his sister, was unhappy with a few drawbacks of being who he is, that being his singular button eye, constant drooling, and the inconveniences he has to put up with considering his height and hulking size.

Orange, once a heavy set, champion eater as a human, now a small dinosaur like creature that can now only eat on a set schedule.

Purple, once a man above the law, sly and cunning, now reduced to creeping through the ventilation like a mere rodent.

Green, the most obvious of all, blind and stumbling throughout the halls with his small legs and long, lanky, arms like a tube character from outside of car dealerships. Not only that but the love of his life refuses to speak with him nowadays, holding herself up in her tower for all hours of the day to avoid him. Not even stopping to say hi whenever they somehow crossed paths in the halls.

Seeing as everyone had been undergoing their own issues as a rainbow friend, Blue took it upon himself to help figure out a way to make them all into something else using Red's lab, while he wasn't around, and using a machine that combined his body with the essence of color from each friend that was stored, becoming a cyan rainbow friend and then a violet rainbow friend.

Blue thought for sure that this would be the answer to everyone's issues. But when he tried to combine himself with every color of the rainbow it turned him into a large, multicolored, monstrosity, that sought to drain and configure everyone into monsters, providing them the "gift of the rainbow" as he thought, losing sight of himself in the process.

"You already know the rest," finished Blue, "I took Green, Orange, and Purple's colors already and even went as far as to transform White before I nearly took yours too. Until you saved me. Wait… how did you save me again?"

Meanwhile from outside of the lab, the rainbowfied Green, Orange, Purple, and White were all slamming at the double doors, demanding to be let in.

Red looked over at them in fear before turning to the broken pipe he slammed Blue into earlier, getting an idea.

"The steam from the pipe Blue!" He uttered, "The water vapors are what returned you to normal. Of course,It's so simple!"

"Hmm, water was the cure all along? So should we give the other Rainbow friends a bath?"

"Exactly! Well… not exactly, but close enough!" The hoard outside were banging furiously, about to barge in. "They'll be through that door in no time. Quick, help me set a fire!"

"What! Are you crazy!" Blue cried out in disbelief.

"Trust me!" Said Red, breaking a wooden table apart.

"Okay… if you say so." Said Blue, though not entirely convinced it would work, as he aided Red.

The four rainbow colored monsters finally broke in, ready to pounce the other two.

"Aha!" Said Orange, "we gotcha now! Huh?"

They all stared as a pile of wood proceeded to burn from behind Red and Blue, sending smoke wafting up towards the ceiling.

"Not today!" Said Red, a fire alarm sounded noisily as it sensed the smoke before the sprinkler system activated overhead, spraying water everywhere it could including the rainbowfied hoard.

"No! No!" Cried Green.

"It burns! It burns!" Shouted Purple.

"Make it stop! Make it stop!" Shrieked White while Orange screamed in pain.

The colors melted off them, flowing into a nearby drain that led to the sewer.

"It worked!" Smiled Blue, "everyone's back to normal!"

All was fine and well again. At least that what it seemed.
