Ben, Gerard, and Gogo were out in Vale enjoying their time in the city when they found a punching machine. This was a huntsmen class one, as the regular ones were too weak for huntsmen. Eugene stayed behind so that Rowan wouldn't feel left behind, as he still had detention. Teddy was somewhere hanging out with Chad. And nobody knew or remembered where Waldo was. "Here I go! *WHOCK*" yelled Gogo, as he punched the punching machine with all his might. Gogo laughed pridefully, seeing his score, "Haha, 870. It's going to be hard to beat my score." "870? Come on, Gogo, are you even trying?" said Ben as he readied his right arm for a punch with a sly smirk. Gogo got nervous while commenting to Gerard, "He's probably not just bluffing…" Ben pulled his arm back as far as he could, and then bam, he hit it with a mighty blow with the sound of his impact being similar to an explosion going off. Gogo looked mildly stunned; although he had known Ben since childhood, his strength still caught him off guard sometimes, "The. The sound." Gerard stood there emotionless as Ben began bragging, "Ha 970! Now, that's impossible to beat. Well, you're up next, Gerard. However, it's pointless now, as you'll never beat me. But you know there's still beauty in trying, right." Gerard studied the machine for a second before walking up to it. Then he kicked it with all his might using his left leg. The kick made a sound slightly louder than Ben's punch. Ben roared with his ears pointing outward and his hair standing, "What the Hell, Gerard! A Kick!" Gogo was surprised by the strength behind that kick, "Did you hear the sound, though." "Hah, 999. Maxed it out. Looks like I won—my revenge for the pool game. Mwahaha" smirked Gerard. Ben yelled some more, "You cheated! You can't throw a freakin kick!" "Well, I don't recall you saying anything about that. "It's a Flippin Punch Machine! You Idiot! Punch! P-U-N-C-H!" "Come on, man, just admit you lost." But as they enjoyed their time, they didn't notice a pair watching them.
Overlooking them on a bridge nearby were Jack Kang and Geseon Pyo. Jack looked worried as he thought, 'Shit. This doesn't seem like a problem by just crushing Ben,' then the image of Gray from the other day flashed through his mind, 'and I probably can't count out that twig from earlier either.' "Yo, Jack. If we make the wrong move. We might just end up scratching them and getting swallowed by Beacon." "You say that 'cause you don't know how Jimmy is yet. That guy. Always get it done when he puts his mind to it." *Flashback* Jimmy smiled as his face was bloodied and bruised. He was wearing a dark brick-colored leather zip-up jacket. "I told you not to go around by yourself, Jack." *Flashback Ends* Jack thought while piercing at Ben and co, 'One day Jimmy will rule over it, whether it be Beacon or all of Yeongdeungpo.'

Gray arrived at his cram school as the sun began to set. Sitting at his desk and rummaging through his bag, Gray remembered that Hugo had taken his notebook. He walked over to Hugo as Hugo talked to his friend, "Soon enough, I'm going to be at the top of Yoosun. " Then Hugo noticed Gray. "What? Oh right," Hugo rummaged through his backpack and unceremoniously dropped Gray's notebook onto his desk. The notebook looked worn and torn. "Appreciate it. It went through a few of us. It still has all the pages, right? Don't be a bitch about it and make a fuss about it." Gray took it, not caring, and walked away as Hugo returned to talking with his friend. Watching from a short distance was Lily, trembling from her desk in anger as she thought, 'Who does that ugly octopus face think he is? That kid is so meek and mild. ' They're taking advantage of him,' she looked at Gray, 'Those lashes on his skin. What can I do? He's such a baby that he can't even protest,' she then blushed, 'Ah, I wonder what his name is. Ah, I'd like to know. The mysterious nameless boy,' she pumped herself up, 'Just you wait. Big sis will be sure to protect you.'
Hugo and his friend sat and smoked beside a drink machine in a hallway. People got annoyed by them. "Damn! For real!" Yelled Hugo's friend. Hugo then boasted, "Keke. I'm telling you, man. I'm the great Hugo Yoon. Have you ever seen me lie?" "Wow, to rub shoulders with the infamous Helmet." "Yeah, yeah. You never know how things will pan out, right? Hell. Maybe I'll become one of Yoosun U's delinquents through Helmet." "But apparently, he acts like a scared puppy in front of Jimmy Bae." "They're on different levels. Jimmy Bae is already on top of Yoosun U." "It looks like Yoosun must be searching for an opening to crush Beacon. To have that Beacon guy wanted." "He said that they were nearly evenly matched but that their fight was cut short. So now he's searching for him to get revenge." "Anything else on him? Other than the fact that he's from Beacon?" "He said that he was as pale as a vampire and had eyes like a python. And his name was Gra… Grap. Something like that. Anyway, there are a couple of Beacon students at this academy. So Helmet will do the rest when he comes for the info. Shit, it's going to be an exciting ass event." "I know, right? Keke, it's been a while, right."
Lily walked past them with a coffee, thinking, 'RRRR, those bullies. Smoking again in the hallway. And spitting on the floor is disgusting. I hate them.'

Gray worked on his booklet, thinking, 'Clearly, it has been quiet since the incident. I won't get tangled in those shenanigans anymore. And I won't repeat the foolish deeds of the past if I can stay quiet and keep this up. Then everything will be…'
/-/
"Dude, if a Yoosun U bigshot like Helmet barges into the academy, wouldn't you look like a weak loser, too?" asked Hugo's friend. "Hm? Shit, you think so?" replied Hugo with slight concern. "Duh, man. Maybe you are a weak loser. Cooped up in this academy where all the nerds in the area are gathered up kekeke." laughed his friend."Haha, yeah, right. Delinquents get great grades too nowadays," said Hugo with slight embarrassment as then thought, 'Ah fuck! It does make me look like a bitch. And all the Beacon students here are nothing but losers.' Suddenly, his scroll rang. 'Huh! Already!' thought Hugo in shock as he then answered Helmet, "H-Hello?" "I'm in front of the building. Get your ass down here," commanded Helmet sitting on his moped annoyed. "O-okay," responded Hugo timidly as he looked down a window and thought, 'He's really here.' Panicking, Hugo yelled out to his friend, "Dude! Helmet's outside in front of the building right now!" "For real!" responded his friend." "Let's go down quick." "Yeah."
Gray stopped working on the booklet as the mention of Helmet piqued his interest; the last thing he remembered about Helmet was him unconscious and bloodied as his friend tried to wake him up. He then wondered what could bring him there.
Helmet looked pissed as Hugo and his friend went to greet him. "You could've called me when you were on your way. Hehe," nervously said Hugo. Hugo's friend nervously thought, 'He's intimidating in person. "Shut up and just show me the way," commanded Helmet. "Huh? Sure, this way," stuttered Hugo as he and his friend showed Helmet in.
"This is all of them?" asked Helmet as he looked over three nervous Beacon students. Hugo responded, "Yeah, this is all of the Beacon students. There are a few more, but they're real losers." "Hey," Helmet said as he spat on the floor and continued, "Out of you losers. Does anyone know a guy named Gray Yeon?" Even with a bandaged face and a temporary eyepatch, Helmet intimidated the hell out of three. The three answered him nervously from left to right, "Ah! I do know about him, but just his name." "Me too. It hasn't been that long since school started, but he debuted out of nowhere and instantly rose up as one of the top first-year students, apparently." "He wasn't known for anything before entering Beacon, so I don't know his face."
Helmet looked annoyed and said, "*sigh* And that's all you nerds got for me?" But what he thought was completely different from how he acted, 'Yeah, this is much better for me. I'm just looking to show that I tried. I really don't want to run into that fucker again.' Then, a male student from the class asked to pass by, not knowing what danger he was in. "Oh. Sure, go ahead," said Helmet. As the student was walking past Helmet, he was kicked in the side of his ribs, knocked to the ground, and pulled by his hair by Helmet. "Hey. I told you to go ahead. Why are you still here?" mockingly said Helmet. The guy tried to respond in pain, but Helmet then repeatedly punched him, saying, "Pass by me already. Huh? Huh?"
"Hey, do something and stop those kids." "I'm just as scared as you," said two bystanders, and everyone around them was just as scared. 'Those freaks. They're complete gangsters. Is no one going to stop them?' thought Lily as she was stunned by the display of violence. Even Hugo was disgusted by this, 'ARGH! I. I shouldn't have ever started this,' and so was his friend, as both were scared. 'That's not right.' thought Lily, tears swelled in her eyes as Helmet continued beating the student.
"Hey, Helmet," called a voice making Helmet stop his beating and slowly turned around, pissed that someone called out to him. "Haa. What kind of idiot dares to call on me? And by my nickname, at that. Is it the loser way back there?" said Helmet as he tried to get a close look at the voice. Hugo responded, "Uh, Yeah. It seems so. I can't see him. Who is he?" The voice then began to walk towards them without fear as all the other students started questioning why he was approaching them. For some reason, Helmet and Hugo couldn't see who was coming their way, "That one walking this way. Who the hell is he?" "I can't tell either." "Let's see if he can stay tough when we come face to face." The voice walked closer, and Lily thought, 'Oh my god. He's out of his mind. Someone stop him. What if he gets assaulted, too.' As the voice got closer, his silhouette became more familiar to Helmet, 'He has a familiar silhouette.' Hugo spoke in shock, "Wait, that fucker, he's."
With the pen in his hand, the voice then started clicking it. The moment Helmet heard it, his face froze up in fear as trauma began surfacing. Click. Click. Click. The voice was finally close enough for Helmet to realize who it was. Fear is learned. At that moment, Helmet's consciousness was filled with memories from the traumatic fight. Hugo told Helmet, "There's no need to worry about him. He's just a loser," then Hugo noticed Helmet's face and thought, 'Huh? What's going on?' Helmet stood there and trembled in fear, refusing to look at the voice. 'The hell is he trembling for?' thought Hugo. Helmet panicked through his mind, 'Fuck. I was trying to make a statement by coming here. What the hell is that demon doing here? Why? Why!' Click. Click. Everyone began murmuring as they were surprised that the small, effeminate-looking Gray was making the sizeable, intimidating Helmet tremble in fear. Click. Click.
The pen stopped in writing mode. Helmet's left hand throbbed in pain as he thought, 'I can't win,' the piercing stare from Gray made him tremble more, 'Not against this monster. I can't win. He's an insane demon. Hugo stood there wondering what to do, 'Um. Should I stop him? This is getting weird. The Mad Hound Helmet staying this quiet? He's the type to go apeshit over the smallest annoyance,' a memory flashed of Helmet beating someone up with a chair.' Click. Click. Without care, Gray walked past them, shocking Helmet. As Gray walked by, he looked at the battered student, gave him a small smile of encouragement, and then walked away. The classroom was quiet, with only the thud of the door slamming being the only noise. At that moment, the emotion Harper "Helmet" Ha felt wasn't humiliation from failing to act. But the relief that nothing had happened. Just only that.

The weekend finally hit, and Eugene accompanied Gray to the Beacon Library in the morning, though Gray went early before anyone woke up. As Eugene walked towards the library, he happily thought of how fortunate he was, 'So everything turned out lovely. The opposite of how I thought things were going to go. Cardin and his team no longer try to cause any problems. It's a dream, and I didn't even wish for an exciting and fun college life. All I ask is for it just to continue being peaceful.' Once Eugene arrived at the library, he noticed Gray sleeping at a desk, 'Well. Even Gray is taking the weekend easy, considering he's sleeping here. The sun is shining on him. I should draw the curtains for him.' As Gray slept, he dreamt of his friend, "Gray Yeon. You're supposed to draw the curtains for maximum deep sleep potential." The dream then drifted into his friend talking to him cheerfully, " I'm so worried about you, it's driving me nuts. Haha. Just follow my lead, and you'll be fine." Then the dream drifted to Gray studying and his friend talking about it, "Why are you so hellbent on studying Gray?" Then the dream drifted to a conversation, "You just stay put even if something happens in the classroom." After that, Gray woke up, 'I fell asleep. Have I even slept this well recently? The curtains?' Then he noticed Eugene struggling to read as the closed curtains blocked enough light, 'Can he even see?' "You'll see much better with the curtains open," said Gray. "Huh?" said Eugene, startled as he didn't see that Gray woke up. "I'm done sleeping, so you can open the curtains." "Oh, okay," said Eugene as he opened the curtain. With sorrow, Gray thought of his old friend doing something similar *Flashback* "Get up if you're done snoozing. Let's get out of here." *Flashback ends* "Oh, Sorry. I must have burned your eyes from opening the curtains too quick," said Eugene, slightly flustered as he looked at Gray and thought, 'He's a guy, but he's making me blush. What with his sad, dreamy eyes.' Eugene then spoke up while stuttering, 'Um, you know Professor Peach asked us to help out next week." "I know," replied Gray. "Uh, yeah, okay. If you can't make it early, just count on me." "I'm always at the first class earlier than everyone else." "Oh, right," said Eugene, slightly embarrassed.
The voices of four girls then reached their ears. "Come on, Weiss, it's the first week. Why do we have to spend our weekend in the library?" bemoaned Ruby. "Yeah. We could still be sleeping in. It's only nine am," complained Yang. "Oh come on, if we're going to be the best out there, we need to be ahead of our stud–" Weiss' words slowed as she noticed Gray sitting at a table, " –ies." Weiss frowned and complained in her mind, 'Of course, he's here. I knew I should have woken them up earlier. This honestly makes me look bad. *Sigh* as always, I'm second best compared to him.' 'Oh, Gray's here. But I don't think Weiss will want to be here with him after yesterday. Urgh, family drama is the worst,' thought Yang. "Hello, Gray," said Weiss with a strained voice. Gray looked at Weiss and responded, "Morning. Weiss, Ruby, Yang, Blake." with his usual monotone. "Morning Gray. Morning Eugene. Nice to see that we aren't the only ones here in the library this morning," said Ruby with a cheery voice. "Morning," said Blake. "Hey, you two. Where's the rest of your team?" asked Yang. "Oh, Ben was still sleeping. When Gray left and when I left. Gray left early in the morning, and I arrived about an hour later." "Woah, well, aren't you, mister preppy, getting here super early and studying," teased Yang to Gray. "I've only known Gray for a few days, but he likes studying. He's even enrolled in a cram school learning subjects not taught in Beacon." "What!" yelled RWBY simultaneously. "You're taking extra classes! But why? Wh–," sputtered Weiss as she was the one most flabbergasted by this sudden piece of information. Gray answered their shock nonchalantly while looking back at his textbook, "Intelligence and knowledge are power. I must further enhance my intelligence and knowledge to become a great huntsman. Even things that may not look useful could become helpful in any event. So, while it may seem unnecessary, going to cram school and taking classes not taught in Beacon is beneficial." "Woah, that's intense," said Yang with shock. The others were shocked as well. In her mind, Weiss' inferiority complex began inflating, 'He's enrolled in extra classes outside of Beacon! Not only that, but he's taking courses that aren't taught here. He's doing this on purpose. Make himself look like the brilliant genus and me the slow doofus.' Ruby, noticing Weiss' growing frustration, moved her team to another part of the library, "Well, I don't wanna keep you guys from studying, so we'll go on our way and study somewhere else. Later." Team RWBY then went to sit in another area to have Weiss calm down away from Gray. Eugene and Gray then continued on before they were met with Team RWBY.

Sitting alone at a table in an empty library room, Phillip Kim looked at some messages he received from Royce. The messages from his cousin read, 'Hey Phillip, still no update on that fucker? I thought you said you almost had Beacon under your belt.' As he looked at them, he thought, 'Royce, you fucking dickhead. The idiot you were friends with was the doormat Cardin Winchester. You and your stupid ego aside, Ben Park became entangled in this shit due to being on the same team as that Yeon fucker. I don't know about the others, but Ben. I haven't seen an answer to him yet. Still with Ben, if I can wait it out, it looks like Jimmy Bae will take care of him. Does that mean I have to keep my mouth shut and lay low until Jimmy makes a move and crushes Ben?' an image of Gray's piercing gaze flashed into his mind, 'Forget about Ben for a second, though,' the memory of Gray refusing to acknowledge and apologize to him flashed, angering him, 'Son of bitch,' then through a window he see's Gray walking past him, 'How dare you, you no-named loser,' suddenly a idea popped into his head, 'Wait. I think I know how to deal with this.

Time had passed, and It was Sunday, and something dropped on Gray. Gray felt wet from whatever dropped on him. He was taking out trash from his dorm when something fell on him. Looking up, he saw Teddy Jin holding an empty soda bottle from a third-story window. Next to Teddy was his friend Chad Jang. "Ayo team BWGE champ. What's with the intensity in your eyes? Can't believe this loser is considered tough," said Teddy, laughing to his friend. "And you're from. GART?" asked Gray, analyzing Teddy. Teddy continued talking, "Hey. I heard you're an absolute warrior. Better stop acting cocky just because you took down a pushover like Cardin. Cause I might," then Teddy gave an intimidating look, "Kill you." Gray looked unimpressed at Teddy's threat. But there was a reason why Teddy began harassing Gray.

Some years ago. Phillip Kim, former No. 1 of Imdo High School, was never a talented fighter. How was it possible for him to prestigiously reign on top in high school? The reason was his personal specialty: influencing others. It all began with that. Whether showing off his wealth in glorious fashion, *Flashback* "I just got this one. A Yaxaha motorcycle," bragged Phillip. "Damn," said one jealous classmate. "You spoiled brat," said another. *FlashBack Ends* Picking the weakest prey by scanning the landscapes for his next hunt, and after, he was sure he would come out on top. He would start beefing with his target using any methods he could, then beat the shit out of them, going further than most would consider enough making sure that those around him would become afraid to start a fight with him because they would think he would kick their ass beyond reason. *Flashback* Phillip was walking through a hallway with a small posse of three when he spotted a random student with earbuds walking by. Seeing that he didn't look tough, Phillip smirked and then began beefing with him, "The fuck you looking at?" Surprised, the guy became nervous as Phillip grabbed him by the collar. Then Phillip started punching the shit out of him, forcing him to the ground and saying, "This should teach you where to look." As this happened, his posse became frightened by the brutal display of unprovoked violence. *Flashback Ends* But that wouldn't work against those stronger than him. *Flashback* Phillip looked at the guy walking before him, 'Jonathan Moon.' Jonathan, a large guy with an ape-like face, was on his scroll, talking loudly, "I'm telling you, you stupid fuck! …Yeah, alright. Kekeke." While Phillip walked behind him, he thought, 'Those fuckers Jonathan Moon, Mike Oh, and Lucas Seok. If only I could crush these three. I could take over Imdo High School.' Flashback Ends* His parents, who run a prominent commercial real estate renting business, unknowingly fixed his problems with ease. The answer was the power of money. Three high school boys stood before a pc cafe. "Phillip Kim wants everyone at XX Pub in front of Yeuido station today." said a guy in a blue, gray-blue, and dark-gray jacket. "Can we get in there?" said another wearing a t-shirt and longsleeved shirt. "ID checks are tight lately," said the third, wearing a red t-shirt over a long-sleeve-collared shirt. "No problem, all thanks to Phillip, haha," said the one in the jacket. "You're going right," said the one in red. "Hell yeah. I'm going, kekeke. I heard that place is really nice." It was too easy. Inside the pub, Phillip sat at the head of the table, smiling smugly as those around him enjoyed the food and booze. Their first sip of rebellion. "You've never had a drink before, have you?!" drunkenly yelled Royce. "Yes, I have! Shut up, you idiot!" shouted back a first-time drinker. The alluring excitement of becoming part of a group. "Hey, Phillip. How'd you get us in here?" asked Tyler, a friend of Phillip. "Dude, there ain't a damn place on Remenant I can't get in." bragged Phillip with slight laughter. "Epic," commented Phillip's other friend Harry. "Hmm– by the way, Jonathan Moon is getting on my nerves lately. Didn't you say you had a go at him, Harry?" asked Phillip with a knowing smirk. "Fuck. About that, I was cornered by him a little bit. That fucking meathead," answered Harry with anger and embarrassment. Phillip, with faux consolement, putting an arm on him, said, "The fuck kinda excuse is that, dude? We're friends, you and I, correct?" Phillip then put an arm around Tyler, "How about you try again with Tyler over here? Beat the shit out of him. I'll help you out from behind. What do you say?" This got Harry intrigued. Time passed, and they challenged Jonathan Moon. They were fearless as a group. And the one in the center of the action, Phillip Kim, naturally became the leader, at the highest position. Phillip Kim stood behind a bruised and battered Harry and Tyler, smiling from ear to ear as he looked down on an unconscious, bloodied, and bruised Jonathan Moon. "Don't fuck with us, Moon," said Tyler. That was Phillip Kim's way. Letting others do his work for him.

Current time. One day before Teddy began to harass Gray. Teddy and Chad, dressed in stylish clothing, walked the streets of Vale before stopping at the doorway of a high-end bar. "This is the place Phillip called us to, right?" asked Teddy. "Seems like it," responded Chad. "You sure we ain't getting kicked out?" said Teddy, his tail ducking in somewhat. "Kicked out? I mean. Sure, it doesn't look like a place that would let a couple of underage college students in, but Phillip has his ways," reassured Chad, though he still hasn't been inducted into Phillip's inner circle. "Ope, he's calling. Yeah, I'm in front of the building. You sure it's this 'Bar?" asked Teddy over his scroll. Chatter was heard in the background of the call as Phillip responded, "Yeah- Come on in, suckers." As they walked inside down a staircase, an attendee bowed and said, "Welcome to our establishment. Your confidant is waiting in room 7." "Damn- Phillip Kim's not even a part of the Union, and he's meeting us at a place like this?" commented Teddy, awed by the luxurious location. "Silver spoon stuck up his ass. He's been rolling like this since middle school," added Chad. As they opened the door to room seven, Phillip greeted them, "Ayy– you made it." "Damn, it's crowded,' thought Chad astonished at how many people came. 'Woah, there're girls here too,' thought Teddy.
Phillip then motioned to them and said, "Come here and take a seat." Putting an arm around Teddy, Phillip asked, "What stopped you from coming in?" Teddy answered, "Y'know. Had to burn through one before I got in," he then thought, 'I was a little scared to come in.' Phillip introduced Teddy and Chad to the group, "These two are Teddy Jin and Chad Jang. My friends from Beacon. Oh, and Chad is a part of the team I lead." Tyler introduced himself and Harry to them, "Hey, nice to meet you. We're Tyler and Harry—Phillip's high school buddies. You know the deal got separated to different colleges. I landed on Gwanghan U." "Nice meeting you, too," said Teddy, shaking Tyler's hand. 'He looks intimidating,' thought Chad. "Hey. I'm Lala Lee. Glad to meet you," said Lala, winking at the two boys. "Yeah. Likewise," said Teddy as he and Chad both blushed at her presence.
"Hey, order some more food," said Phillip acting cool. The two were vaguely informed about Phillip from before. They felt something when they met him in person and his element—seeing his position and Grandeur. They both thought that he was the real deal. The connection to Former No.1 of Imdo High School, Phillip Kim, was something they should seize at all costs. Time passed, and the outside became dark as they enjoyed themselves inside. "Phillip used to beat the shit out of Kids behind the school gym," said Harry. Tyler laughed loudly, saying, "Oh Yea,h That's Right." A slightly drunk Teddy said, "So you were just testing the waters since it's still early in the school year?"
"Hooo. Taking out small fries one by one. It's way too frivolous and time-consuming. Not to mention, it doesn't do anything for my ego," said Phillip as he poured Teddy another drink. "You could take over Beacon any day, right Phillip," asked Teddy, wagging his tail on the cushion as he thought, 'Though you probably couldn't get through Ben Park or Pyrrha Nikos.' "Like you said, I'm still testing the waters, looking for my chance. But there are a few fuckers that are weighing on my mind," answered Phillip. "And who might they be? If they're small fries, we could do you the favor, " Teddy said. Phillip smiled as he thought, 'Hmm. These freaks were hot shit at Seong-il High School. "Let's ease into that over a few drinks. The night is still young," said Phillip as they continued enjoying themselves more.

Current day. Moments before soda fell on Gray. Teddy and Chad were gushing over the fun night that they had. "Fuck, dude. Did you even imagine it being that cool?" said Teddy. "I know, right?" replied Chad. Teddy then looked out the open window he was leaning on. "Hmm? That's the bitch Phillip was going on about, right? The one who's acting like tough shit after taking Cardin? Look at him. He probably even smells like a loser. Haha. Perfect timing," said Teddy, smirking. He then shook up his Coke bottle and opened it, letting it all fall on Gray. Seeing his success, Teddy smiled douchely at Gray.
Author's Endnote: Gray's rep is increasing, and Phillip is starting to make his first moves. I'm excited to write more interactions between the RWBY and Weak Hero cast. I have to think of more ways to have them organically and naturally interact while doing my best to intertwine both stories in a way that makes sense.
