Chapter 3

Tuesdays were dedicated to filming for Mogami Kyoko. It was the day when she endorsed the role of the beautiful but terrible Natsu in the series Box R. Today she had very little scenes to shoot, so she had started reading the scripts for episodes 7 to 10. In any case, she had to leave early to prepare for the premiere of Tragic Maker. She was asked to meet Ren, Lory and muse-sama in a hotel in the city center at 6 pm.

She was stressed about revealing her identity tonight, she had made Squirrel-san fall out of jealousy, just because the girl was interested in her beloved brother. She and Ren had perhaps pushed the game a little far. And if we asked her about the hickey... Ah! She didn't want to go there. To take her mind off those things she went back to her script. Suddenly she jumped up, p34, in black and white were drawn the following characters.

Natsu kisses Takumi, arranging for her rival to see her. Kiss! They really wanted her to kiss a boy? No, impossible, she was the bad guy, she couldn't have a romantic scene. Rereading the passage more carefully, she understood that her character was seducing the boyfriend of one of her enemies in order to make her suffer. Natsu was really a pest. Kyoko wasn't reassured by that. She had zero experience with kissing... How was she going to succeed in this scene? She was going to start by asking her best friend Kanae or she would find a tutorial on YouTube. She would manage…

At 5pm she said goodbye to her colleagues from box R and left the studio towards the subway station. In the metro a young man looked at her insistently, could it be that he recognized her? She had kept Natsu's style which attracted the men's attention. With her hair pulled back, a little makeup and princess rosa, the pendant that her sempai had given her, she was very beautiful. But the most charming thing about all this was that she seemed to ignore him.

Arriving at the hotel 15 minutes early, she sat down in the lobby to read again the passage of this outrageous kissing part. She was really upset by this scene. She had indeed been kissed by Sho for Valentine's Day, but this act could be judged more as a sexual crime than as something romantic. Thinking back on it, she was seized by a fit of rage against her childhood friend. She should expose him on the #metoo forum !

Muse-sama and Lory approached and she made the script disappear into her bag, then got up to go meet them.

She loved Muse-sama, she was the greatest makeup artist in the company. For her, Muse-sama was like the fairy godmother in Cinderella, a magic wand and Kyoko was transformed into a princess.

She wondered with apprehension what Setsuka's outfit she would wear for tonight's party. She hoped for something not too sexy or provocative, but it wasn't in muse-sama's habits to be sober.

Lory came back with the room's keys and they headed to the elevators carrying two huge suitcases. Arriving in the room, which was more of a suite, she went to take a shower in the luxurious bathroom. The sight of the whirlpool bathtub accompanied by a colorful assortment of bath bubbles made her regret not having time to take a bath. Given her stressed state it would have been good. She showered quickly, enjoying the scent of the hotel's luxurious shampoo, put on a white bathrobe and, towel around her hair, left the room. She found herself face to face with Ren who had just arrived.

- Hello Tsuruga-san. How are you?

.- Very well. But it will be better tonight.

Muse-sama interrupted them to send Ren to the shower and Kyoko to her room to get dressed. The dress she had chosen for her tonight was gorgeous. A thin black silk fabric with an impressive neckline in the back. Kyoko was reassured this dress satisfied her sense of decency for once.

She put on the dress and let muse-sama in for Setsuka's makeup and blonde wig. Ren and Lory were talking in the living room.

Once her work was finished, Muse-sama invited Kyoko to look at herself in the mirror. In her black dress, Kyoko was seductive. Her long hair was tied in a clever bun that reinforced the daring neckline revealing the small of her back. It always surprised the young girl to transform into such a beautiful woman. Muse-sama was a genius.

If Ren was troubled, he didn't show it. He complimented the young woman who whispered to him in a childish pout.

- I want my Nii-san!

Ren laughed and then followed muse-sama to his room so she could transform him into "nii-san". For him they were black leather jeans and a black grunge long-sleeved T-shirt. The black wig that transformed him into Cain casted areas of shadow on his face. After makeup he was unrecognizable, a sort of dark prince who came to earth for the sole purpose of annoying his neighbor. No more perfect gentleman, Ren, now in his role, had a disdainful and cruel attitude and his gaze was full of rage.

He left his room without a thank you to Muse-sama and in the living room took his sister's hand. Without a word they went out to wait for the limousine that waited to take them to the party.

They didn't talk in the car, they were both tense. Telling the truth, under the spotlight, sure that their teammates would be unhappy. But after all it was the director's decision!

In front of the cinema, a hundred people were gathered to see Muasame-san, the main actor of the film. Their passage was very little applauded, people being frightened by Cain's sinister air.

Once inside they neglected to greet their colleagues and took the seats reserved for them. Setsuka stretched her perfect legs over her brother's. She looked at him, he seemed very tense and was looking at the red curtain that covered the screen as if it was the most captivating thing in the world. He must have felt even worse than her, he had almost killed Murasame-san ...

After a brief introduction by the director, the film began. From the hands that tightened on his seat, Kyoko understood that Ren was suffering. She straightened up and took his hand, it was frozen. Ren looked haggard and terrified, could it be that he was afraid of his own image? From the first sequences of the film, Ren had found himself transported 6 years back in time. When he was a wild and merciless teenager. The images of his own face distorted by hatred made him relive those dark hours that had ended with the death of his friend Rick. He had believed, by becoming Ren Tsuruga, to start over and become better but he had it in him, this rage, this violence. He was a monster. He squeezed Kyoko's hand with all his strength. She was his only salvation.

Finally came the end of the movie and on the screen appeared the names of the actors, under the name of the character BJ the name of Ren Tsuruga appeared. The other protagonists looked at each other astonished. It was then that Cain, who had snubbed them during the entire filming, bowed respectfully towards them and apologized. Setsuka did the same and the movie director declared.

- I have the honor to introduce you Tsuruga-san and Kyoko-chan, they performed this comedy to promote the movie. Thanks to that I was able to have Ren here incognito.

Ren and Kyoko took off their wigs and tried a shy smile. The other members of the movie were speechless. Ren in a horror movie, in the role of the villain no less... It was unbelievable. It was Murasame-san who broke the silence:

- So… she's not really your sister...

Ren immediately understood the insinuation and simply said:

- She is a minor.

Touché. Murasame-san, who didn't want any trouble with the morals squad, retreated.

- Tsuruga-san! Yaled Squirrel-san! Kyaaa!

And she jumped at his neck. Kyoko couldn't help but pull her away from her senpai. This girl was becoming greedy.

The director brought Champagne and they toasted the film's successful start. In the room, the reporters present to cover the event took pictures of Ren and Kyoko to illustrate their article. The scoop, Ren Tsuruga, disguised to play in a horror film! They asked Ren many questions which he answered cheerfully. However, since the projection of the film Kyoko was feeling a wave of sadness ready to overwhelm him, so she was not unhappy to take the car back to the hotel room.

- Tsuruga-san are you okay?

- I'm a little tired, that's all Mogami-san.

He headed to the mini bar and got himself a miniature of Whiskey. Kyoko decided to leave him alone. She headed to the bathroom to run herself a bath.

Once settled in the hot water, foam up to her ears, she heard a knock on the bathroom door.

- Yes?

To her surprise, Ren walked in and sat down next to the tub.

- Tsuruga-san is everything okay?

- Promise me you'll never hate me.

- Pardon?

- Promise me. Please, Mogami-san.

He was literally begging her. His eyes had the intensity of despair. She would have hugged him if she wasn't naked in her bath. She put her hand on his shoulder.

- I promise, Tsuruga-san.

He left the bathroom for his room. Kyoko dried herself and, in a bathrobe, entered the bedroom, he turned on his side to see her enter. She sat at the foot of his bed to watch over him, he rolled towards her and looked at her for a long time. She stroked his hair until he fell asleep. What had he seen in this movie that scared him so much? His sempai was definitely a mysterious being. She lay down next to him and fell asleep with her hand in his hair to protect him.

He had slept very well. Kyoko was breathing silently next to him, fast asleep. He thought she would probably be embarrassed to wake up next to a man, so he got up, called room service and took a good shower to finish waking up. When there was a knock at the door he opened it and tipped the boy who brought him coffee, croissants and newspapers.

Pouring himself some coffee he read the headlines, Shinzo Abe visiting the north, the next G7 summit postponed. On the entertainment page a big photo of Mogami-san and him. With the headline "the dark side of Ren Tsuruga". This was followed by three rather nice paragraphs on his performance. In a box, questions and answers of the other actors made him feel uncomfortable... He really had to make up for his attitude during filming. It was going to take time.

At the end of the article the journalist asked him what the funniest anecdote was while filming. To cut it short he had told how, with Kyoko and he had made a metal band competition. The one with the most violent band won, it was simple. It was Kyoko who had won with a band found on the internet, the fabulous cadaverous decomposition, they had to look up the lyrics on the net to understand that the band was actually singing in Japanese. Because they had laughed so much, they had decided to go to their next concert. The article ended by saying that they would meet on November 28 at the Michi bar!

Ren laughed and texted Yashiro-san to block the date. He then went to wake up his kouhai to make her read the article.
