I'm currently watching as Pyrrha spars with one of the newer students, Mercury Black, or whatever. That's not the point, though. Class is dismissed whenever the guy surrenders after only two clashes, and I sigh. What an actual joke… It's not even worth describing it, really. While leaving with the others, that being Team RWBY, Prof. Goodwitch calls out, "That is all for today. And remember, though the dance is this weekend, you all have your first mission on Monday. I will not accept any excuses." Yeah, that's great and all, but I don't think Blake's in the correct mindset for that in the slightest. She's been absolutely drowning herself in trying to get information on Roman Torchwick, and Lavender. The poor girl has dark circles under her eyes that look just like mine, and while the whole looking alike aspect is great and all, only one of us should be the sleep deprived one.
I walk alongside Blake, the day being entirely too bright in my opinion, and due to my sunglasses being evaporated a few days ago I don't really have much to do about it. I'll probably go shopping for another pair tomorrow, or something… That's not the point though, as Blake has refused to look at anything but the book she's buried her head in.
"So…" Sun starts, and I'm already bracing myself for the potential for something idiotic. "You and Blake are going to be at the dance this weekend, right?" he asks me. I hear the sound of a book slamming shut as I turn to face him.
It's a harmless question, but as I go to answer him Blake speaks up, "Seriously? You think we'd waste our time with something as pointless as that? I figured you might be able to put that much together, but that's asking for too much, isn't it?"
"Hey, Blake, don't you think that's…" I start, but stop myself. I of all people know how well adding fuel to a fire goes. Instead I just sigh and watch as she walks off, book held firmly against her hip. "…a little much…" I say once she's out of earshot.
"Is she, like, okay?" Sun asks, looking a bit hurt by her lashing out so suddenly.
"I… I don't know…" I admit.
"We'll try to talk to her." Yang says, walking after her. Ruby quickly follows her, giving me a slightly forced smile.
"I guarantee she'll come around. I mean, we are planning the dance after all. It's going to be spectacular!" Weiss says, smiling.
"You and Yang? That sounds like a clash of ideas, honestly." I say.
"You'd think so, but she's great at planning parties, and I have an excellent eye for decorating. If all goes well, it's going to be amazing." the white haired heiress proclaims. There's an almost infectious feeling of excitement she's putting off.
A small smile makes its way onto my lips before I respond, "I might go… Still not sure, especially with how Blake's currently acting. I don't see a real reason to go if she's not there."
"Oh, you're going. She is too, I'm sure. It's probably going to be down to you to get through to her, though." Weiss says.
"Uhh, are you sure? I'm almost positive that someone like Yang would be better suited for that…" I trail off.
"You're her boyfriend, making her feel better is literally in the job description. I'm sure you'll manage. In the meantime, though, I should probably catch up with Yang and Ruby. Talk to you later." Weiss says before walking off.
"Fair enough…" I say before checking my scroll for any messages or notifications. Nothing, and that's probably for the best.
"Well… uh… I'll see you later?" Sun says.
I nod. "Yeah, I'll see you later. Don't let Blake get you too down, she's just not feeling well."
"If you say so, dude." Sun says before walking off.
I decide that I'm going to just head back to my dorm for an hour or so to take a quick nap, but as I pass by Beacon Tower I hear an unfortunately familiar voice, "OZPIN! GET DOWN HERE YOU SILVER HAIRED BASTARD! WE NEED TO HAVE A TALK!" It's Lavender shouting at Beacon Tower. A criminal overlord is on Beacon's campus. What the actual fuck?
Ozpin emerges from the library, not the tower, sipping on his mug of coffee and holding a book. He sees Lavender, clad in his armor like usual, and sighs. "Mr. Lavender, please, that isn't necessary. What is the nature of your visit on this fine day?"
"Isn't necessary? I'll tell you what isn't necessary, six of your students causing hundreds of thousands in property damage in my portion of Vale! Not to mention one of them caused a pile up! She's lucky no one died!" Lavender shouts.
I decide that this counts as appropriate entertainment for the time being, and decide to walk over to Ozpin's side. "You've met him before, Sir?" I ask. Looking over at Lavender, something clicks, that bastard is tall. Like, yeah, not Jade tall, but at least seven feet even. Maybe seven foot one if I'm feeling generous.
"I have, young man. Several times, actually…" Ozpin says while adjusting his glasses.
Lavender looks to me and exclaims, "What, do you know him on a personal basis? Gods, I keep finding things to dislike about you. You were so fucking cool, too!"
"Hello to you, too…" I grumble, crossing my arms.
"Right, well, Mr. Lavender, would you like to explain to me what exactly happened?" Ozpin says before taking a sip of his coffee.
"Six of your students, that fucking walking fire hazard next to you included, caused significant fucking damage the other night! Y'know that Atlesian mech that had went missing and was found burnt to a fucking crisp? Thank him!" Lavender says, pointing at me. I thought I had a bad habit of swearing without reason…
"I already told you, it was self defense. Torchwick shot first." I say, rolling my eyes.
"From what he told me, that girlfriend of yours shot first, the detriment to the race that she is." Lavender says.
"And you believe him?!" I ask, exasperated. Not to mention he's laying into Blake again. The girl's been going through enough as of late, and this dickhead isn't helping.
"It's her word against his, and he wasn't fucking purring in public!" he shouts. By now there's a couple people watching this altercation.
"Will you just drop that already?!" I hiss, growing less patient by the second.
Ozpin clears his throat, drawing our attention back to him. "Mr. Lavender, please, show some restraint when you're on campus. We can take this to my office, if you'd like." Ozpin says, gesturing to the tower.
"Fuck your clock tower. No, I'm here to deliver a nice little message: Keep your children on a leash, or I'll mail you a fucking pipe bomb. Watch me." Lavender says before walking off. "Fuck all of you! Damn Beacon students!"
"What an exemplary citizen…" I mutter as my arms fall back to my sides.
Ozpin sighs, and shakes his head. "Would you like to explain what he meant by all of that?" he asks.
"Sure thing. Basically, Roman Torchwick was rampaging through Vale with a mech trying to kill Blake, so we threw it off of a bridge to get it away from civilians and destroyed it. He got away, though, unfortunately…" I say.
"Specifically trying to harm Ms. Belladonna?" he asks. I nod in confirmation. "Well, that is certainly… something… I may call you to my office later if the need arises, but you're free to go. Try to stay out of trouble, young man." Ozpin says.
"I'll do my best, Sir." I say before continuing on. It then crosses my mind that I left my jacket in the Team DAIS dorm last night, and I sigh. I then start walking that way, because I just want my jacket back.
I just keep going up the stairs and walk down the hall. My eyes land on Jaune at the other end of the hall. I just give him a thumbs up and walk into my dorm room. Levi and Lukas are on the couch, and Lukas' hoodie is currently being laid out in front of them. Lukas is tracing his finger along a few spots, while there's some kind of material next to them. "Your jacket's on the counter." Lukas says.
I walk over to the counter to grab it whenever we hear the sound of a guitar being played, badly. This is then followed by Jaune's voice, "Weeeeiiiiisssss!" The door to presumably Team RWBY's dorm is then heard being slammed, probably in his face.
Lukas' eye noticeably twitches, but he takes a deep breath. "It's fine, it's not worth it, it's not worth it…" he chants repeatedly to himself, as if he's trying to convince himself that whatever he's thinking of doing is a bad idea. It almost looks like he's gotten through to himself whenever…
"Oh, come on! Open the door! I promise I won't sing!" Jaune calls through the door, knocking once more. It opens once more, and he strums the guitar again. "I liiiieeeed!"
"It's worth it." Lukas says before walking past me and throwing open the door. He rushes down the halls and I peek my head out just as he makes it over to Jaune. "Hey, does that guitar have any sentimental significance to you?"
"I… I just bought it today, if that's what you're asking?" Jaune says.
"Great." Lukas then rips the guitar out of his hand, and smacks him on the head with it, leaving a sizable dent in the instrument. It doesn't seem to really hurt him, but he does fall onto his ass. Lukas then proceeds to smash the guitar on the ground, throwing the rest onto the pile of splinters and strings. Weiss has a look of awe on her face, her bright blue eyes going wide, and covers her mouth with a hand as Lukas then storms back over to me, a couple bright blue sparks dancing across the remains of the guitar behind him.
"Well… anyways! Uh, Weiss, did you maybe want to go to the dance with me on… uh… Sunday?" Jaune nervously asks. He then chuckles, equally nervously.
"No." Weiss says before closing the door. She doesn't slam it this time, but Jaune still sighs.
Wow. Just, wow. Lukas looks up at me, and I shrug. "I think I'm going to see if they made any progress with Blake…" I say.
"You do that… I'm going to go cool off…" Lukas says.
I nod and step out of the dorm, jacket slung over my shoulder. A few moments later I find myself knocking on the Team RWBY dorm. It swings open to reveal Weiss. "I already said…! Oh, wait, Doge?" she asks.
"Not you, I need blondie." I say.
"Yello!" Yang calls out while shoving Weiss aside.
"Precisely."
"What's up, dude?" she asks.
"How's Blake?" I ask.
"She's still saying that she won't go to the dance. I even promised to play her favorite songs!" Yang says, pouting.
I can't help but smile a bit before asking my next question, "Do you know where Blake is?"
"She went to the library. Are you going to try talking to her?" Yang asks.
"Try."
"That's good enough. If it goes wrong, I'll salvage it for you, yeah?" Yang says, smiling at me.
"That's… yeah that's great, or whatever. I'll catch you later, thanks for letting me know where she is." I say.
"Yup. Oh! You better ask her to the dance, dude."
"What? She doesn't even want to go, and I don't even know if I really want to, either." I say, crossing my arms.
"Too bad. Weiss and I are planning it, and we're not letting it go to waste. Go get 'er, Tiger." Yang says, giving me a small thumbs up.
"I'll try, I guess…" I half mumble.
"That's almost the spirit, you emo bastard!" Yang says, continuing to give me a thumbs up.
"I'm not emo." I say.
"I believe you! Wink!" she says, winking.
I just sigh and walk off. Now to figure out just how exactly I'm going to convince Blake to stop slowly killing herself…
My heart thuds in my chest as I make my way over to the table she's stationed herself at. Books and papers are littered across it, along with a cup of coffee. That girl never drinks coffee. I sit down across from Blake, and try to look into her eyes, yet she doesn't even look up from the book. "Blake…" I say.
"What?" she coldly asks, her gaze sharp enough to cut through the air itself.
Ow. That definitely hurt a little, but I keep myself together, "What are you doing here?"
"What does it look like?"
"You know what I mean." I say, my fingers lightly drumming against one of the covers of the books whilst my leg bounces up and down underneath the table, out of sight. I glance at the book to see that it's not even a book, but a criminal record collection. Why the hell is that even in Beacon's library?
"If you're here to try and make me stop, you can just leave." Blake says harshly.
"Blake, be genuine with me, what are you hoping to get out of this? You're driving yourself into the ground, and it hurts to watch." I say, looking back at her.
Her eyes lock with mine, narrowing slightly as she glares at me. "If that's what it takes, then so be it."
"'So be it?' Are you fucking with me? You're just going to keep going until there's nothing left? What happens if- Actually, no, when you kill yourself from this? Who's going to pick up the mantle whenever we have to fucking bury you?" I ask, my tone a bit sharper than intended.
"Is that what you think this is? Some sort of suicide mission to intentionally burn myself out?" Blake asks, her hands tightly clutching the book she was reading.
"Obviously not, but that's what it looks like. I mean, logically-"
Blake cuts me off, "Don't start with the logic nonsense. You know that doesn't come into play here."
I take a breath, pulling myself back down to the ground. Once again I try to get my point across, but this time a bit gentler, "Listen, you're not going to be able to do any good if you hurt yourself doing this…"
"And I won't be able to do any good if I don't even try, Doge! Just… Just leave!" she exclaims.
"I… what…?" I quietly ask.
"I said 'leave!' If you can't see what I'm trying to do, then just go! Maybe when you open your eyes and try to understand what I'm doing we can have this conversation again, but for the time being you need to just go!" Blake says.
There's a moment where every negative emotion I can think of rushes through my core, yet I manage to keep it off of my face. I stand up and nod before speaking softly, "Have it your way, then…"
As I'm leaving the library I turn back one final time to see her looking at me, and there's almost a look of regret in her eyes. She quickly looks down at her book, her sleep deprived form hardening. A sigh escapes my lips as I step outside and immediately take out my scroll. I have to scroll a bit through my contacts, but eventually get to Y. A moment later it's ringing, and a moment later she answers, "Soooo… How'd it gooooo?" Yang asks, obviously convinced that it went well.
"We had our first ever actual fight. Take that as you will." I say, walking back to the dorms.
"Shit- I meant shoot, really?" Yang asks.
"Swear jar!" can be heard in the background from Yang's side.
"Yeah. I'm going to be honest, I don't know how to get through to her. She's fucking hellbent on going until there's nothing left." I say, messing with the fabric of my blazer with my free hand.
"Ok, well, how bad was it? Like, it's not irreparable, right?" Yang asks, sounding actually worried.
"It didn't get that bad, but still… That sucked…" I say, now kicking a rock along the path.
"Ok, ok, good. Well, I did say I was going to salvage it if you failed, and by the sounds of it you did so spectacularly. We need a plan, and lucky for you, I have one!" Yang proclaims. I can practically see the pose she's hitting now, one foot up on a chair, hand on her hip, and her hair flowing in the breeze despite there being no wind of any kind near her.
"Right, well, is it a good plan?" I ask.
"It's a plan, and it's going to work!" Yang exclaims.
"I'll take it." I say. "So, what is it, exactly?"
"Well, ok, so, basically, Blake has several things on her plate right now, right? Jade, Lavender, and Torchwick. We can't fix all of them, but we can definitely fix one of them, that being Jade. Now, that's just to start, because then comes Phase Two!"
"Phase Two?" I ask Yang. "I wasn't aware we were operating in phases…"
"Yup! So, assuming that her and Jade can make up, we can see if that's enough to help her, but if not I have an idea. Now, I don't really want to get into it if I don't have to, but I will if push comes to shove. You and her are going to that dance, and you're both going to look adorable while doing it!" Yang finally finishes, and I can hear her take a gasp for air.
"Ok, well, the dance is in two days, so we might want to get on this as soon as possible." I say. I then miss the rock with my next kick and pout for a moment before continuing.
"See, that's the fun part, uh, next part is all you. I'll figure something out for if the Jade idea doesn't work, but in the meantime you have to talk to her." Yang says.
"Great…" I say. Now I have to just find Jade, the girl who's notorious for disappearing into the fucking woods whenever she's sad. Lovely.
"Ruby said she's been seeing vines near the sky lights above the lecture halls, so maybe when class is going on tomorrow you sneak up and confront her?" Yang suggests.
"I… never would have thought of that…" I admit.
"Duh, you didn't ever see the vines." Yang responds.
"Fair enough. Well, I'm going to let you go, unless there's something else?" I say, getting ready to hang up.
"Nope, that's about it. Sleep tight, okay?" she cheerfully says.
"You too." I say before hanging up the call. At least I have some sort of guideline to work with for the time being. I remember that Professor Peach is teaching an after school class right now, and decide to gamble. With any luck, Jade's up there…
"I hate climbing…" I grumble while pulling myself up the wall to one of the lecture halls. The sound of Professor Peach's voice can be heard, but it's not like I can see her from here. Eventually I pull myself over the parapet and look around. "There you are…" I say, walking over to my teammate.
"What the? Doge?" Jade asks, vines retracting from the skylight and turning into a small bush-like mass.
"That's still 'Friend Doge,' don't worry. I really do just want to talk." I say while stepping a bit closer.
"Oh, that's good. Alright, well, Friend Doge, I'm glad you weren't mad at me. I really though that you were, and your soul seems dark lately… Blake's does especially…" Jade says rather quietly.
"Soul? What? Actually, never mind. Listen, it's actually about her. More specifically the incident from the other day…" I say, taking a seat on the concrete.
"Incident?" she asks.
"The… the sparring session?"
"Oh! Yes! What about it?" Jade asks.
"Do… You do see the issue with what happened, right?" I ask, playing with a pebble while speaking.
Jade tilts her head before speaking, "No? We just fought, and she lost. That was that."
"What? No, no, I meant the part about you halfway killing her, Jade. Y'know, choking her out, all of that?" I ask.
"I… I don't have any memory of doing that, but even then, we were fighting. That's what happens during fights." Jade says.
"No, I mean specifically the fact that you almost murdered her during a friendly match, Jade. That's the issue here." I say.
"Are they not the same thing?" she asks.
A sigh escapes my lips before I'm able to stop
It. This isn't going anywhere…
All of a sudden the mass of plant fibers shudders, and Jade turns her head to it. She then nods at it, and turns back to me. "Onyx wants to talk to you, if you don't mind."
"Onyx?" I ask, looking to see if maybe someone was behind the bush, or something.
"My son!" Jade says while picking up the plant.
My eyes go wide at this revelation. "Your… your what?" I ask.
"Yeah! My son! I made him when I was younger with my semblance. Ozpin said something about pseudo… pseudo-sentience? I think that was it?" Jade says before tossing the bush(?) to me.
"Uhh… hi?" I ask.
"Hello, Doge Canicus." the bush replies in an extremely deep, masculine voice. I blink in surprise, and apparently Onyx notices this as he speaks once more, "Don't be alarmed. I do get the surprise, though. It isn't everyday you meet a talking plant, now is it?"
"No… not really…" I say.
"Onto more pressing matters, Jade. She's… hurting. She can't even tell why, but I can." Onyx says.
"How?" I ask.
"I'm a part of her subconscious, in a strange, roundabout way. I was created whenever she accidentally put her aura into a mangled chunk of her own flesh, giving me a core and by extension a soul of sorts. That's all your uncle has been able to figure out so far." Onyx says.
"Huh…" I mutter in astonishment.
"Indeed. Still, if possible, you need to have Mrs. Goodwitch talk to Jade. Jade sees her as a mother, and that's the best chance you have of getting her to understand what she did, and then speak with your girlfriend about it." Onyx says.
"How much do you know about us, if I would be so bold to ask?" I ask.
"As much as Jade does, but I can probably process it properly, unlike her. Jade is a very damaged girl, as I'm sure you're aware. I'm sure that she's going to get better with time, but for now, just try to bear with her." says Onyx.
I nod. "Is there anything I can do?" I ask.
Onyx rattles, a few leaves shifting about. Maybe this is his form of shaking his head? "I'm afraid not. Jade looks up to you as a leader, but that's mostly for combat and such. Only Goodwitch will be of use here."
"Damn… Alright, well, thanks." I say.
"Of course. You're her friend, after all, and by that logic you're my friend too." Onyx says.
A small smile crosses my face. "Fair enough."
I then hand Onyx back to Jade, who by this point had gone back to watching the lecture before turning to take back Onyx.
"What did you two talk about?" Jade asks. That link Onyx mentioned must be one way…
"We wrapped it up by agreeing that we're friends?" I offer. Maybe she just goes with that?
"That's nice! Well, if there's nothing else to talk about, I'll go back to my class" Jade says.
"Yeah. I'll see you later." I say before heading to start the climb back down. Halfway through I just give up and let myself fall, my aura tanking the impact. I then start off for Beacon tower, knowing that Prof. Goodwitch will probably be spending her break there…
…
"…and basically, that's why I'm tying you to the ceiling." Yang says.
"This plan sucks. How am I supposed to get down?" I ask.
"You wait for my signal, and use your fire powers." she says, as if I had asked the dumbest question in the world.
"Great…" I say. My body is currently tied up on the roof of a classroom that's connected to the library. It's Saturday evening, and the dance is tomorrow night. Jade actually did try and talk with Blake, but while it somewhat helped her mood, it wasn't enough for what we were hoping for. Oh, right, I should probably mention that I'm wearing a suit and have a bouquet of purple, white, and black tulips in one of my hands. This isn't what I'm going to be wearing to the dance, mind you, but it's just something I had laying around. Yang gives me a once over before smiling and giving me a thumbs up. She then throws the ladder into a corner and walks off holding a… is that a laser pointer? Her plan is a fucking laser pointer? Are you fucking with me right now?
I sit there for what feels like forever when the door is suddenly thrown open, Blake and Yang walking inside. Yang's plan worked. I'm actually pissed and happy about the fact that I might just genuinely be dating a living stereotype.
"Yang, if you're going to tell me to stop, you may as well save your breath." Blake says, crossing her arms.
Yang plops herself down on a table and speaks in a calm tone, "I don't want you to stop; I want you to slow down."
Blake paces, arms still crossed while speaking, "I don't have the luxury to slow down."
Yang scoffs before responding, "It's not a luxury; it's a necessity."
"The 'necessity' is stopping Torchwick." Blake says firmly. As firmly as she can in her sleep riddled state, anyways.
"And we're going to. But first you have to sit down and listen to what I have to say." Yang says before patting the table she's sitting on. She looks over at the blackboard and picks up a small piece of chalk.
"Fine." Blake relents, sitting down on the table, too.
Yang takes a deep breath, and starts speaking, "Ruby and I grew up in Patch, an island off the coast of Vale. Our parents were Huntsmen. Our dad taught at Signal, and our mom took on missions around the kingdom. Her name was Summer Rose, and she was, like... Super-Mom: Baker of cookies and slayer of giant monsters. And then... one day she left for a mission and never came back…" Yang looks down for a second, and she has to bite her tongue for a moment. Her hand clutches the chalk she was holding, too. Once composed, she continues, "It was tough. Ruby was really torn up, but... I think she was still too young to really get what was going on, y'know? And my dad just kind of... shut down. It wasn't long before I learned why. Summer wasn't the first love he lost; she was the second. The first was my mom…" Yang trails off. Blake's eyes widen at this, opening her mouth, yet Yang continues before she can say anything, "He wouldn't tell me everything, but I learned that the two of them had been on a team together with Summer and Qrow, and that she'd left me with him right after I was born. No one had seen her since."
"Why did she leave you?" Blake asks.
Yang stands up and starts drawing on the blackboard while continuing. "That question... 'Why?' I didn't know an answer, but I was determined to find out. It was all I thought about. I would ask anyone I could about what they knew about her…" Yang trails off again. She then perks up as she continues her story, "Then, one day, I found something. What I thought was a clue that could lead me to answers, or maybe even my mother. I waited for Dad to leave the house, put Ruby in a wagon, and headed out. I must've walked for hours. I had cuts and bruises, I was totally exhausted, but I wasn't gonna let anything stop me. When we finally got there, I could barely stand, but I didn't care; I had made it. And then I saw them. Those burning red eyes… There we were: A toddler sleeping in the back of a wagon and a stupid girl too exhausted to even cry for help. We might as well have been served on a silver platter. But, as luck would have it, our uncle showed up just in time… My stubbornness should've gotten us killed that night." Yang says, her voice quieter. By now she's finished her drawing, a mechanical bird's eye of sorts?
Blake breaks the silence, "Yang... I'm sorry that happened to you, and I understand what you're trying to tell me, but this is different. I'm not a child, and this isn't just a search for answers! I can't just-"
Yang swiftly cuts her off, "I told you, I'm not telling you to stop! I haven't! To this day, I still want to know what happened to my mother and why she left me, but I will never let that search control me! We're going to find the answers we're looking for, Blake, but if we destroy ourselves in the process, what good are we?!" Yang shouts, her eyes turning red.
"You don't understand! I'm the only one who can do this!" Blake shouts back.
"No, you don't understand!" "If Roman Torchwick walked through that door, what would you do?!" Yang angrily asks.
"I'd fight him!" Blake says.
"You'd lose!" Yang exclaims before shoving Blake backwards.
"I can stop him!" Blake protests before trying to shove Yang in return, to absolutely no avail.
"You can't even stop me!" Yang shouts, pushing Blake again and sending her back to the desk. "I'm not asking you to stop. Just please, get some rest."
Blake looks at her with wide eyes, before Yang suddenly pulls her into a hug. Yang's eyes open, and she looks up at me, allowing me to see that they've reverted to purple. After a moment Yang lets go, and then gets this smug ass smile on her lips.
"You're up, Lover Boy." Yang says.
"What do you mean?" Blake asks, looking around the room and seeing nothing.
The sound of flames crackling can be heard for a moment, and then I come falling from the ceiling, embers from what's left of the rope following me shortly after. A purple shimmer runs across my body as my aura tanks the fall. I then hold out the tulips to Blake, a soft smile on my face. "So… still hellbent on avoiding the dance, or would you maybe want to make an exception for yours truly?"
I watch as Blake speedruns through all five stages of grief, then with horror comes to the realization that she still wants to go with me. "You are unbelievable." she says, taking the flowers from me and smelling them.
"Is that a yes?" I somewhat cautiously ask.
"It's a yes…" Blake sighs.
Yang high fives me after I stand up, broad smiles on both of our faces.
"You're both something else…" Blake mutters under her breath.
"Damn right." Yang says.
"Anyways," I say, "listen to Yang, get some rest. We have a lot to do tomorrow."
Blake nods, and gives me a small smile, "I will…"
I give her a hug, and kiss her cheek. "Thank you…"
Blake leans into the touch, and nods slowly.
"Well, I'll just leave you too here…" Yang says suggestively.
"No, no, you blonde moron, we both need to sleep, 'cause Lukas is taking me to Vale for suit shopping." I say after letting go of Blake.
"Fair enough. Bet you're saving all the action for tomorrow night, huh?" Yang asks, wiggling her eyebrows.
"Don't necessarily know about that, but…" I trail off.
"'Cause I know I am! Levi isn't ready for the half of it, though!" Yang proudly says.
"Poor bastard…" Blake and I say at the same time.
Well, tad bit late, but I got distracted by my birthday being today, so like... yeah... Not going to apologize for that one, honestly. This is one of those times where like, yeah, I could have just uploaded yesterday, but at the same time, how else was I supposed to get ready for a day of pumping myself with caffeine to push through a plethora of social interactions?
anyways
Next chapter will be out within three weeks, thanks for reading, and one final thing...
Levi ain't ready.
