What did you all think about the Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster ride through the mountains and through a ghost town called Tumbleweed?
How about the doom buggies at the Haunted Mansion? Have you ever heard a grown man scream like Elliot did? What about the apparitions getting on the doom buggies and then trying to follow them out of the park? Oh my.
The food sounded delicious at Pecos Bill Tall and Tail Inn and Cafe. Sure would like to go and eat there one day.
Oh my lord what did you all think about the roller coaster at Expedition Mountain? Man that was some ride wasn't it? Poor Little Annie Rose thought they were going to go over the rail and down the cliff. Boy that scared me too. Then a few minutes later they start moving but they are going backward…oh lordy it is a backward roller coaster..don't know if I would like that for the whole ride..what do y'all think?
Ok now we are going to start where we left off. Everyone has rested riding in the bus and are ready to ride dry and wet rides. Oh boy we are gonna have some fun and I am sure more screaming and hollering. Hang on to your seats for more thrills.
Now we are getting ready for Part 2 Fun in the sun. More rides dry and wet. More screams and are having the time of their lives.
Chapter 20 Part 2 Fun In The Sun
"As I said El I was too busy holding on to my lady to be scared." Christian tells him.
"Oh my goodness that was so much fun and so damn scary. Thank you Boo for holding on to me." Annie tells him.
"Always My Rose I will never let anything happen to you again. I can not live without you, my darling wife, best friend and one day mother to our children." He whispers the last part only to her.
"Elliot, we never did see the big bad Yeti. I wonder if all the screaming and hollering was too much for his ears. What do you think?" Christian asks him.
"Naw he was just scared of me. He knew I was going to clobber him." Elliot says laughing.
While they are riding over to the water rides Annie is looking at more brochures to see what else they can do today.
"Hey y'all listen to these rides and there are places to visit too. There might be something we want to ride. There is the Animal Kingdom Safari. It looks interesting Wow Animal Kingdom is the largest theme park in the world and it covers 580 acres. Oh my lord it would take two to three days just to go through all of it." She tells them.
"Yeah it would that's half the acreage you and Christian have at home." Elliot says.
"Okay now what all do they have there?" Elliot asks her.
"There is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Avatar Flight of Passage." She tells them.
"Hey here is one, it's called Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Race along the darkened freeways of Los Angles in a super-stretch limo to the rockin' tunes of Aerosmith." She tells them.
"Well we are going to Space Mountain? It's an inside roller coaster." She tells them and shows them the brochure.
"Oh mercy, here is The Twilight Zone of Terror. Anybody for this one? It has a series of drops and dark rides through the tunnel." She tells them in an eerie voice.
"We have Spaceship Earth at Epcot." She reads off the brochure.
Christian is looking at some of the brochures. Okay here we go y'all listen to these." He tells them all.
"Here we go now we are getting somewhere. Listen to these rides. They are all at Animal Kingdom. Kali River rapids, Crush 'n' Gusher, Summit Plummet, Splash Mountain, Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, Downhill Double Dipper. Oh man, we gotta ride some of those." Christian says all excited.
"What do you mean by some of those? Bro we are here for two count them two fun in the sun weeks we can ride everything and then some again," Elliot says high fiving Christian.
"Those sound exciting, what are we going to do first tomorrow?" He asks them.
"Damn El we haven't even finished today and you want to know about tomorrow. Let's see what all we accomplish here at Animal Kingdom today. We might do more than what we planned on doing." He tells him.
"Yeah well you know me I am nothing but a big kid. Just wait till you and Annie Rose have little ones. I am going to be the uncle of fun." He tells them jumping up and down in his seat.
"I have no doubt about that El. We know you will be the best uncle there is." Christian tells him and hugs his neck.
"Wait a minute neither of you said "Hold up we ain't having kids no time soon". So are you? Have you talked about a family? I am sorry I shouldn't have asked that." He tells them.
"No El it's alright and yes we have talked about family but not right this minute. We want to travel some after we turn the business over to our team." He says.
"Remind me love, we need to call them and talk to them this week. I know they all got acceptance letters asking them to move up." He tells her.
"I have it on my calendar to call them Monday." She tells him.
"What would I do without you, my Rose? Don't answer that love." He says smiling at her.
She just holds his hand and kisses his lips gently.
" Now first of all let's enjoy today. Then we need to look at the map and see what the furthest water rides are to us and then work our way back to what comes next in line. That way we won't be back tracking." He says.
"Yes my love we can start with them and I agree with you." He says.
"Not that we are going to ride everything because some are childrens ride Elliot not for the kid at heart but there are 173 rides at Disney World. There are 41 rides at Magic Kingdom, Epcot has 46 at Animal Kingdom. There are 11 rides at Typhoon Lagoon and 12 at Blizzard Beach." She says pointing to them on the brochure.
"Wow well we have time to ride and explore and see what all we want to do." Christian says.
"Yes Boo we do. We have plenty of time." She tells him as she leans over and puts her arms around him hugging him.
"Hey folks we are here. Here are your season passes back. Don't lose them. We can come back and ride anytime we want but some of the rides you have to make a reservation for to ride more than once a day. So let's try to ride once on whatever we are riding and then come back later." Jason tells everyone.
"I think after riding each ride one time will be enough for one day y'all." Annie tells them.
They said they couldn't agree more.
As everyone steps off the bus Jason makes sure everyone has their season pass to wear around their necks.
"Yeah, it was a good idea to give them to you while we all ate lunch. Especially with Elliot and Luke being so messy." Annie says laughing.
"Now hold on there missy it wasn't only us. Carol spilt some sauce on her. Christian almost got chili on his shirt not to mention you missy. You almost split your tea when you thought you saw "George Clooney and Patrick Dempsey". He says with air quotes.
"Oh hush you well I thought it was them. It sure did look like them. Didn't it Gail, Carol and ladies?" She asked all of them.
"Oh good lord yes it did and I still say it was them. We need to get a closer look at them to make sure." Gail says smiling at Jason.
"Oh no my dear that is not going to happen." Jason tells her point blank.
"Oh you party pooper." Carol says and they all crack up laughing so hard they are beginning to draw a crowd.
"Okay now come on let's go to the Kali River Rapids. Anything you don't want wet put it in the lockers they have. Or leave with our security that will be waiting on us at the end of the ride." Jason tells them.
"Well whoever is going to meet us at the end of this ride I need you to take my bag. It has our towels and dry clothes if we decide to change but I doubt it."Annie tells them.
"Have you all decided who is going and who is staying? This ride will seat up to twelve people if they want to put that many on the ride. I suggest that Annie, Christian, Carol and Elliot ride together. Gail, Luke, Ryan and myself will ride with you all." Jason tells them.
"I want to put some in front of us going through this ride." Jason says.
"I will ride in front of them." Tony says
"I will too." Says Dusty.
"So will I." Says Justin
"I will." Says Allen
"Okay, got that covered now at the end of the ride?" He says.
"Jason, that will be Mary, Eve, Roger and myself." Don tells him.
"Alright then we are good to go. Let's walk on over to the entrance." He tells them. "I think everyone that is riding is already on. So guys you go first and then we will follow and so forth. You might have some stragglers riding with you Dusty but that's alright. I'm just trying to keep them out of ours if possible." He tells them.
"Hello everyone my name is Janson and I hope you all have an awesome trip down the Kali River Rapids. There are twists and turns and you will get wet…let me repeat that you will most Definitely get wet." He says and everyone says alright and woo hoo.
"There is a drop and you all better hold on tight. I believe you better strap this little lady in extra tight sir." He tells Christian looking at Annie.
"Yeah, yeah I know I am little but I am tough. Besides, my husband will take good care of me." She tells him.
"Yes, just like he did on Expedition Everest right Annie?" Elliot asks her.
"Absolutely bro." She deadpans.
"Alright everyone you will start after the one in front of you has gone a little ways ahead of you. Are you all ready to ride the rapids?" He asks them.
"Hell Yeah, let's do it." They all say.
Jason looks back and sees security has two other people with them and in front has three other people with them. He isn't worried no one knows his friends or if they do they are not approaching them or taking pictures.
"Oh my god this is so much fun."Annie says laughing.
"Hey y'all we are going into the rapids hang on." Dusty tells them.
They ride the rapids and more rapids the water is slouching over the sides.
"Ohhh..my goodness that was cold." Annie screams.
"Of course the river is cold." Elliot says.
"More rapids coming up and oh goodness some twists and turns. Look y'all" Luke says pointing to where they are going.
"Hang on tight Annie Rose I got you. El hold on to Carol and Gail if you can. This is going to be a bumpy ride." Christian says just as the waves hit the side of their raft. He gets a face full of water.
"Oh Boo are you alright?" Annie asks him, trying to wipe the water out of his eyes.
"Yes love I am fine and that was so refreshing." He tells her.
All they hear is screaming and hollering and they look and no security in front of them.
"Oh my I bet this is the drop he was talking about." Annie says.
"Yep it is hold on tight y'all here we gooo." Christian says as they go over the top.
"Oh my goodness are we going to stop?" Carol says, screaming.
They hear more screaming and look and Elliot is white as a sheet. Holding on to the ladies for all he is worth.
"Annie are you alright? He says as they pop down in the water finally.
"Oh god yes I want to do that again. It was exhilarating and the water felt so good." She tells him
"Carol is he alright? He hasn't said a word and he still looks like he has seen a ghost or two." Annie asks her.
"I really don't know." Carol says.
"Elliot, bro talk to us man. Are you ok? Do you need a doctor? We can stop this ride and take you to the hospital." Christian says worried about his brother.
"Jason, call 911 and tell them where we are and what is going on." Christian tells him.
"On it Christian." Jason says grabbing his phone out if it's case.
"Oh..my..freakin… fuck man that was so damn exciting a real adrenaline rush. My lord I have never felt my stomach doing somersaults like that before and my heart was beating so fast. Oh dear lord that was something else. Oh by the way I am fine, nothing wrong." He tells them.
"Put the phone away Jason. I am good man." Elliot tells him and everyone else.
He looks over and sees Carol, Annie and Gail all with tears running down their faces.
"Ladies, I am good, I promise. I just couldn't talk after we went over the side. It was phenomenal, you know. I thought we were flying. Damn that was awesome." He tells them all.
"Come here baby, I am alright." He pulls Carol to him as best he can.
"We have another rapid everyone." Tony tells them.
"Hang on y'all we got some twists coming up and white water rapids. A little rough toward the end." He yells at them.
"Oh my..oh my." Annie screams as she is bounced around even though she is strapped in. She is bouncing in her seat from side to side and up and down.
"We are going to get wet y'all look." Christian says.
They are going under a huge waterfall.
"Ohhh..that is cold but feels so good." Carol says, wiping the water from her face.
"Hey Annie you and Christian didn't get wet this time." Elliot says.
Elliot leans over and tells Jason to lean to the far side when the next waterfall comes up. That way Christian and Annie will get wet.
He nods his head and the ladies heard him and they nod too.
"Uh oh here comes another waterfall." Elliot tells them.
All of a sudden when they get close to the waterfall Elliot yells.
"Now do it." He tells them
The raft turns and Annie, Christian, Luke and Ryan get soaked cause it takes so long for them to turn away from the waterfall,
"Oh goodness y'all look like drowned rats." Elliot tells them laughing his ass off. Jason, Gail and Carol are laughing with him. A few seconds later everyone is laughing.
"Oh my lord, that was ice cold. I swear they made the last one colder than the other ones." Christian says.
"Y'all did that on purpose I know you did." Annie says but she is still laughing.
"Blame El, he wanted us to do it." Gail says laughing.
"Just throw me under the bus why don't you Gail." He says laughing and now hiccuping.
The ride comes to an end and they all get off.
Security has their towels out for them if they want them.
"Naw guys we are good. We will dry in a little while and we are going to ride some more water rides." Annie tells them.
"Please give me my bag, Eve." Annie tells her…she does.. "Thank you." Annie says
"Okay y'all, let's have a seat right here for a few minutes." She points to the outdoor tables.
"Alright now we are going to Crush n Gusher everyone. This is in an abandoned fruit processing plant. This is a "water coaster" ride going down a 400-foot-long tube slide." She tells them screaming the words she is so excited.
"What do you all think? Are you game for it?" She asks them.
"I'm in, let's do it." Christian says.
"Heck yeah." Elliot says, grabbing the brochure out of Annie's hand.
"Elliot rude much?" She asks him.
"Well I wanted to see." He tells her.
"Well all you had to do was ask jackass." She told him.
"Okay next time I will, I am sorry." He tells her.
She just smiles at him and pops him on his back.
"Ouch Christian your wife is abusing me." He says.
"Well then leave her alone and she won't touch you." Christian tells him.
"Hey you are supposed to take up for me bro." He says.
"Sorry bro but you brought it on yourself. You did stuff like this when we were younger. Annie put you in your place a few times back then." Christian says walking over to Annie and kissing her temple.
"Carol?" He says
"On your own with this my love." She tells him.
He stands up pouting.
"El are you pouting? Come here you poor baby." Carol says.
"You know what would make me feel better, Annie Rose?" He asks her.
"What Elliot?" She is getting tired of his pouting.
"I want you to ride the Golden Zephyr with me." He says.
"Where in the hell did that come from bro? Right out of thin air I think." He asks him.
"Hell if I know but I am not backing down. I saw it in one of the brochures" He tells him.
"Elliot, where is the Golden Zephyr?" She tells him.
"Not sure but I know it is in Disneyland. I want Annie Rose to ride with me. She says she can ride anything and I want her to prove it to me. This is a helluva of a ride." He tells them.
"Didn't sound like it when she was screaming for her life earlier." Christian says holding her so she won't hit him.
"You find out where it is and I will ride it with you. Sounds like fun
"Okay let's go and ride "Crush n Gusher and we will talk about this later." He tells her.
They all walk over to the abandoned fruit plant and walk inside. They are the only ones walking in right now. Their usual security is with them.
They have Mary and Eve going in front of them with Hailey and Justin right behind them.
"Alright wow that was some walk up here. Let's do this. I am already hot and tired." Annie says.
"Hello folks my name Riley and I am going to explain this ride to you all." He tells them.
They all speak to him.
"Alright there are three different shutes you can go down on. We have the Pineapple Plunger, Coconut Crusher or the Banana Blaster. You can ride two per chute or if you are very brave you can go by yourself." He tells them.
"We are going to take the Pineapple Plunger." Christian tells him.
"We want the Coconut Crusher." Says El.
"We are going to take the Banana Blaster." Says Jason.
The rest of the guys and girls choose theirs and they take off backwards.
The girls are screaming and laughing.
Annie and Christian take off and fly down the slide. Christian has both hands on his handles and his legs wrapped around Annie. She is holding onto her handles.
Jason and Gail are next, followed by Elliot and Carol.
The guys start behind all of them and they are all off down the slide.
Oh my goodness this is awesome Boo. I love it." She tells him.
They hear screams in front of them and then nothing. then screams again.
"Annie Rose, I am going to get you for this. Making me ride this thing. Just wait till you get a little further." Mary tells her screaming at her.
"Hold your horses woman I'l…l oh lordy…oh my god..oh…my..goddd… we are dropping Booo…Booo. hold me tight she hollers at him." She tells him.
"Be still Annie, are you are going to turn us over?" He tells her.
"I want to see where we are going dang it." She yells at him.
"Well you can't so be still." He puts his legs tighter around hers.
"We are almost at the bottom love." He tells her.
"How do you know?" She asks him.
"Cause I can hear people talking." He tells her.
She hears them now.
They slide into the water pool where their security is waiting for them.
They watch the others come down and get out.
"Elliot, you sounded like a little girl coming down that slide." Carol tells him.
Elliot dips his head in the pool, coming up and slinging his head. Getting water all in Christian's face. He just looks at him and ducks him.
"See how that feels bro?" Christian asks him laughing.
"Oh that felt good bro." Elliot says laughing and trying to catch Christian again.
"Come on y'all let's go and look at the brochures again and see what we want to do. We still have 3 hrs before they close the park." Annie tells them.
"What do y'all want to do? Ride or visit places like the Safari?" She asks them.
"Look at this Annie?" Gail says.
"Na 'vi River Journey looks interesting and we ride in a boat. Yes I like that. How about you all? Everyone can ride and see everything." She tells them.
"It says it's one of the most captivating rides as you float in a boat through a bioluminescent rainforest in search of the Na' Vi Shaman of Songs. It also says "pay close attention to the unbelievable finale." She tells them.
"Okay let's do this and rest a while then I want to go back to the villas and have our supper. Jason right before we get off the boat will you please call the guys and let them know we will be soon?" She asks him
"Yes ma'am sure will." He tells her.
They walk down a long winding path with the most exotic and alien landscape foliage. There are large trees with colorful leaves. There are plants that have beautiful flowers on them. Blues, greens, reds, pinks oh goodness so many colors and shapes. You will continue to follow the winding path down to the river boat ride.
The interior portion is covered but not enclosed and looks as if the Na'vi had built it themselves.. You will see totem poles and their handiwork everywhere. From the light fixtures to the poles along the switchback you'll think it was fashioned completely from natural materials. They are not as detailed as the other Pandora attractions.
"The ride is only five minutes and we all ride in what appears to be two small hand-hewn rafts joined together."
"On each of the rafts there is seating for 6 people. 3 on each row. Not sure if the seats are going to be big enough for all you large men. Might have to do 2 men and one woman on each row." She tells them.
"We will see when we get there Annie." Luke tells her.
"This is a dark ride into the nighttime jungle, past glowing plants and exotic animals. Oh wow let's go come on y'all. We should almost be at the entrance. I hear people talking." She says.
"Hold up missy Ryan and I need to walk in front of you and Christian." Luke tells her
"Well come on then slow pokes." She says laughing…"You know I love both of you like my brothers." She tells them
"Yes we know you tell us enough." Luke nudges her shoulder, smiles at her and walks in front of her.
"Oh my goodness Annie Rose I can't wait to see what the plants and animals are can you?" Gail asks her, all excited.
"No I can't either Gail. This is going to be so exciting." She tells her.
"Okay now does everyone want to ride or not?" Jason asks them.
"Yes boss we would like to ride and if we are going we need seating arrangements sir." Tony tells him
"Alright then everyone walk over to the lighting line and we don't have to wait for rafts and as I said before some rides are reserved and this is another one."Jason tells everyone.
"Just make sure you all keep your eyes on the young ones." He tells them.
"Yes sir." They all say.
"Alright the first 2 rafts are starting. Next we have Annie and Christian, Elliot and Carol. Gail and I will be riding with you all." Jason tells them.
"Luke, you take 5 more with you unless you need another raft." Jason tells him.
"Yeah with all of us so big we need another raft. Even with the ladies." Luke says.
Alright they are all on their way down the river.
"Oh my how awesome and beautiful. So pretty look at the plants they glow. The colors are so vibrant and luxurious goodness the whole rainforest is lit up." She tells them.
"Annie look down my love." Christian tells her squeezing her hand.
"Oh my lord, would you all look at the gorgeous fish? They are just below the surface, so pretty. Wish I knew what kind they were." She tells them still looking as they pass by them.
"Oh my god in heaven…Christian there are wolves looking at us. Look at those eyes they want to devour us." She whispers to him.
"Love the sign says Viper Wolves and they are in the forest not that close to us. Annie love they are not real. They are the animatronics this is what you read are also more animals in the forest. Look and they are projected." He tells her.
"Well they look so real don't they?" She asks him
"Yes My Rose they do but you are safe." He tells her.
"What in the world is that?" Gail asks, pointing to the lights that are coming close to them.
"I read about these that are Wood Sprites." Annie says watching the lights flying around.
"Look, we are coming up to the end. I hear music that must be Shaman." She tells them all excited.
"Oh this is the Mystical Ceremony:" She says
They watch the Shaman as she performs a ritualistic song and gesture, symbolizing her connection to the natural world. She performs the song "Way Tiretua," a song that represents the connection to the goddess Eywa.
"Oh my goodness that was so wonderful to see and so beautiful. I loved all the vibrant colors of the plants, the exotic animals and the fish." Carol tells them with a smile on her face.
'Yes it was all very spectacular. I am going to have to find the song the Shaman sang. I want to know the words to it. It was so lovely." Ann tells them.
"Annie, I just texted the guys and told them we would be there shortly. Not a good signal inside."Jason tells her.
"Yes I figured that once we were inside the cave." She says.
"Adam put the ribs on earlier to cook. He said he hoped you weren't mad. He also said you left the rub out that you were going to use. So he used that and wrapped them up and put them in the smoker." He tells her.
"Oh my heavens why in the world would I be mad. I appreciate him doing that. If not they wouldn't be done for hours. Tell him all is good." She tells Jason, smiling.
He texts Adam and lets him know all is good.
They make it back to the villas and they all go their separate ways to change.
Jason and Luke secure Annie and Christian's villa while Ryan and Justin secure Carol and Elliot's.
"We will see you all in a little while. Annie, I am going to help with supper." Carol tells her walking off to their viila.
"Okay thank you but you don't have to." She tells her.
"Oh but I do. We have a lot of hungry mouths to feed and we have to prepare a lot of food." She yells at her walking into their villa.
"Annie, do you all need our help?" Eve asks her.
"Not right now but thank you. You ladies can come over after you change if you would like too." She says.
"Thank you, we will be back in a little while." Eve says walking out of the room.
The ladies all fixed supper. Annie had time to make her double fudge, chocolate mint, caramel cake with double fudge icing.
"Hope you all enjoyed supper. Now I have a special treat for all of us." She tells them.
"Ladies, if you will follow me please." She tells them
They all get up and follow her to the kitchen.
"What is that amazing smell? Who baked it? Is it a cake or cookies?" Mary asked sniffing the kitchen.
"Well I baked it and it is my special double fudge, chocolate mint, caramel cake." She tells them taking the top off the huge cake.
"When did you have time to do this and we didn't see you making it?" Carol walks over to her and punches her in the arm smiling.
"When everyone went outside for a while. I already had the batter and the icing made. All I had to do was put it in the oven once I got the batter in the pans." She told them.
"Good grief this is at least 6 layers high." Eve says.
"Yes, yes it is. Now come on, I need to cut it and put it on plates. We have some serving trays in the cabinet to your right, Hailey if you don't mind taking them out please." She tells her.
"Oh lord no problem at all." She tells her.
"Carol, there are some carafes of coffee on the counter. Would you and Eve please bring them into the dining room?" She asks them.
"Our pleasure Annie." They say.
"Boy I tell you Annie you are Wonder Woman." Eve says.
"Naw just like to stay busy and thank you." She tells her
The guys all stop talking when they hear the kitchen door open. They look up and see trays of plates with cake on them.
"Oh lord how mercy Annie love, did you bake a cake and is it my favorite? Double fudge, chocolate mint, caramel cake?" He asks her getting up to help her into her seat.
"Yes my darlin Boo it sure is." She tells him.
"Hope you all like it. Well don't just sit there dig in, it's not going to feed you." She says laughing.
She sits there watching all of them eating the cake and drinking the coffee. There is a lot of moaning and ewing and awing going on. Mostly moaning.
"Oh my word Annie this is divine. I absolutely love the ingredients you used." Carol says and everyone agrees with her.
"Annie darlin you have outdone yourself with this cake. I hate to say it but it is better than the one you made at home a few weeks ago." He tells her kissing her cheek.
"Well thank you my love and I am glad I made it better. As they say, practice makes perfect." She tells him.
"You did one helluva job Annie Rose, it was delicious my dear." Gail tells her, hugging her.
"Thank you Gail." She says, hugging her.
All the guys swear they have never tasted anything so good and they are so happy to be a part of this wonderful family even if it is as security guards.
"Quite a lot of you have been with us as we were growing up and we consider you all family. Hell we consider all of you family you take very good care of all of us." Christian tells them.
"Thank you sir, we appreciate that." Dusty tells him.
"Yes sir, we all feel the same way about y'all. There is nowhere else we would ever want to work. You all treat us like people not staff. You all follow our orders and not fuss about them. That is the kind of people we like to serve." Josh tells them.
"Thank you Josh and everyone. Now if you would like to join us outside we are going to roast some marshmallows by the fire." He tells them.
"I am with you on that sir." Josh says.
"Alright y'all it's Christian and know you all know this." He tells them.
They all walk out the back door and down to the fire pit and take a seat.
Elliot hands everyone a stick to put their marshmallow on.
They all get their marshmallow ready and put it in the fire. Some like them burnt, some like them lightly brown and some of them like them just warm.
"Wait up, I got the fixins for smores." Gail tells them.
"Oh boy, I haven't had a smores in years." Annie says.
Gail passes the chocolate around and Jason passes the graham crackers out.
Everyone sits around the fire pit eating their smores and talking.
"Annie love would you sing a song for us?" Christian asks her.
"Y'all don't want to hear me sing. I'll have the neighbors yelling and dogs barking." She says trying to get out of it.
"Oh no you won't, we all know what a lovely voice you have. Remember we were at your wedding honey?" Gail says.

"Oh come on My Rose you can do better than that." Christian tells her, pulling her on his lap.
"Okay I was just playing what do you all want me to sing?" She asks them.
"How about "Take Me Home, Country Roads" By: The late John Denver. My mom and dad used to sing that when we went camping when I was younger." Eve tells her.
"Oh that is a good one. Yes dad and I would sing it to mom when we would go camping then Boo and Elliot would come down and join in." She told them.
"So will you please Annie?" She asks her.
"Yes but y'all are going to have to join in for the chorus." She tells them looking at all of them.

"My, my, my where did you get that voice from Annie and you Christian you have an amazing voice too." Hailey tells them.
"Well I guess we can tell you. This isn't in any of our paperwork or background checks that are done on us. Elliot can sing if he wants to." She tells them.
"Have any of you ever heard of "Country Sensation"?" She looks at everyone.
"I think my parents have some of their records. Don't tell me you are kin to them awesome voices." Eve says standing up and screaming.
"Well okay I won't." Annie says nothing else.
"Oh woman you got to tell us now. Pretty please." Eve and Hailey both say.
"Well you all have signed NDAs and I know this won't get out to anyone. My mom and Christian and Elliot's mom were the "Country Sensation" Carla/Grace." She tells them.
They wait for the punchline; they can't believe that Carla/Grace is their parents.
"Yes it's true. Carla is my mom and Grace is the boy's mom." She tells them.
"How did they meet? Were they best friends and neighbors?" They ask.
"No but they became best friends through church singing in the choir. Well let me backup a minute and I will tell you how they met at church. Carla and her family were coming to sing at our church. Carla and Grace hit it off. They found out that Carla and her family were moving there. Carla had to leave with her gospel group and she talked her parents into talking to Grace's parents so she could travel with her.
Now to make a long story short. They went to different churches and sang and remained friends through school. Went to college and graduated with honors. Started writing music and singing and then their songs were on the radio. They did a tour with Bob Hope.
That's where they met our dad's. They were on a USO tour and became friends with our dad's. They did tours with Mr. Hope for years. Our dad's told them they were friends and lived in Tennessee just like them. Well they fell in love and as they say the rest is history. That's where our voices come from." She tells proudly.
"Oh my lord I don't know what to say except oh my god they are your mom's. That is awesome." Eve says jumping up and down."
"So I take it that's how you met Christian." Hailey says.
"You want to tell them Boo?" Annie asks him.
"Sure." He says smiling.
He gets up and walks over to Annie and pulls her up and sits down with her on his lap.
"Annie Rose and I met in the hospital with our mom's." He tells them.
"Okay but how and why in the hospital? Come on now I know there is a story." Josh says.
"Okay, okay. We were born the same day I am 5 minutes older than Annie. Our mom's were in the same room when we were born. They wanted to be together and they were. They said I wouldn't stop crying so they put Annie beside me and I shut up and we were holding hands." He tells them.
"Oh lord how sweet and you were always together?" Mary asks him.
"Yes we were all through our kid stage to adult stage. We will tell you some of our stories growing up another time." He says.
"Oh yeah they are some doozies." Elliot says laughing.
"Now I am being nosy Elliot. How much older are you than them if you don't mind me asking?" Tony says.
"Oh no not at all. I am 5 years older than them." He tells them.
"I knew you were older but didn't know how much." Tony says.
"Well I did my fair share of having fun with them growing up even though I was 5 years older. By the time they were walking they were into everything and big bro had to help them out." He says looking at both of them.
"I remember one time when they were swinging they made a bet on who could swing the highest. At the time they talked to me when I was walking by I didn't know it was a bet until I declared Annie Rose the winner."
"They were fussing because Christian didn't want to give up his bike. Ray walked up and heard Annie Rose talking about the bet. She told him what they bet on and what they would get if they won."
"Ray thought I was involved in the bet but I told him I didn't know it was a bet until Annie Rose said she won Christian's bike. Well to make a long story short they both had to swap for a week."
"Did you two make any more bets?" Josh asks them.
"Did they ever lord way too many times to tell about right now. But let's just say they bet on everything they could think of." Elliot tells them.
"Oh my I bet..um I mean I guess you two were hell on wheels." Justin says, looking at them.
"Yes you have that right we surely were." Annie says.
"What are you doing love?" Christian asks her.
"I am looking for the lyrics for the Shamans song "Way Tiretua" and I found them. Anybody want to hear them?" She asked them.
