Chapter 16
Shizuru, Kikyo and Toru, were walking by the alleys of Belgrade in order to avoid the crowded places. However the alleys were also full of people, so it was difficult for them to find a solitary place. Nevertheless, it also was good that there were a lot of people around them as they could be lost easily. Shizuru was in the head of the squad, while the woman with glasses and brown hair, along with a man were behind her. The man tried his best, and looked around in order to see spies or even worse other anti-demon hunters, who were after them.
'I still can't belive they have hunters among them.' Shizuru, frowned, bust still they're not Japanese, 'Are they theirs or they used some kind of mercenaries? Maybe Russians or from UFS.' the woman didn't know the answer for question and tried to make it by herself, 'And if they're theirs, that means other countries, how many countries have such structures?' suddenly she flinched as she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Was it 'Planina'?" Kikyo asked her.
"Yes, it was." Shizuru nodded.
"We're on the place." Toru pointed at the big luxurious building, where was the needed word, "So, should we go all together or it's better to go for some one?"
"I'll go." Shizuru, said them, "Your task is to wait here and if something goes wrong you'll inform me." Kikyo and Toru agreed with her and watched at the woman's back.
Shizuru was calm, but still had a thrilling sensation as it was absolutely new place for her, and she along with her comrades supposed to escape from the government of the country what seemed like a suicide mission, but still sh believed they would be able to escape.
'Well, looks not bad.' Shizuru chuckled as she entered the place, where she firstly saw a reception along with a bar and a restaurant, 'If we wouldn't be chased I would stay here.' Shizuru looked around and went to the bar, where were few people, she looked around in order to find someone who was after her, however there was nothing suspicious, 'Oh, what a coincidence.' she smiled watching at the table which was busy with only one person. The person was in a white shirt and black pants. He was holding a glass filled with some brown liquid and slowly was drinking, "Good evening." Shizuru chuckled, sitting opposite to him.
"Ah?!" the man turned his head and saw Shizuru's beautiful face, "Oh, good evening, still decided to meet?"
"Yeah, my colleagues, are walking and I decide to meet an enthusiastic journalist." Shizuru smiled, "You asked really interesting questions." she put her elbows onto the table and put her chin onto her hands.
"Well, I'm glad you decided to do that, and it's really a coincidence as I didn't say neither my name nor the room where I stayed." the man chuckled.
"You know, I also remembered that." the Taimanin chuckled, "Maybe it's destiny let us see each other so easily?"
"Who knows." The journalist chuckled and drank his drink.
"I wanted to ask you about the questions you asked." Shizuru came straight to the business, but still tried to do it from a far, 'I think it'll be good to start ask simple questions and then ask serious ones. It's good that all people are busy.'
"Ah, that the referendum will be corrupted." the man mumbled, but Shizuru nodded, "I have no doubt the political parties and the government will manipulate with the results."
"But it's some kind of fantasy, why do they need to do that?" Shizuru asked him, "It'll be difficult to steal money and do whatever you want when you have someone above you, don't you think so?"
"It is." the man nodded, "But still it's good for them because they will remain their positions, and real opposition will be crushed." the man called the waitress and with a sign showed her to bring a bottle and another glass.
"And how do you think what countries will agree that happen?" Shizuru asked him with interest, "What about neighbors, do they need a strong neighbor?"
"They will all reject it." the man smirked stopped as the waitress came and serve the drinks, but when she left he continued, "I think only Russia, and other Slavonic will support them, while however not Croats." he smirked.
"Why?" Shizuru looked at them man, who only looked around, "I've heard they fought, but still maybe ordinary people will be glad Macedonia will join Yugoslavia." the Taimanin looked at the man, "After all four countries joined in one."
"If not that war and if Serbia wouldn't win, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Bosnia would never join it." the man started to pour another liquid into his glass, and wanted to offer it to Shizuru, but she rejected, "Relations here, on Balkans are always difficult, especially between Croatia and Serbia."
"Does it mean they're cold even now?" Shizuru asked him raising her eyebrow.
"Indeed." the man drank a half of his drink and continued, "It's not seen on the board between Croatia and Serbia, but in several places with Bosnia, they have some conflicts."
'That's it.' Shizuru did a note, "Do you mean they have war conflicts?"
"Of course not, they have some kind arguments with some criminal groups." the man replied her quietly, "As I heard there are a lot of mercenaries, especially from Serbia side."
"What mercenaries?" Shizuru asked him not liking his tone, but the man only shrugged with his shoulders.
"I only know that the difficult location is not far from Croatian Okuchani and Bosnian Gradishka.." the man merely replied her, "The problem is that, while Mladich controls the situation, there happens nothing serious, but if he leaves his post, there can be a lot of problems with which the new one won't be able to deal."
"If that happens, I think he will teach the new one how to deal with it." Shizuru looked at the man, "As I noticed he is really a well concentrated person."
"He is, but still if a strong man leaves the post to the weak one, everything will crack fast." the journalist looked at her with his black eyes.
"Oh, and you said there are some places , they had a strange names." Shizuru put on a semblance she tried to remember it.
"Okuchani, it's not far from Bosnia broad." the man replied.
"Is there a way to reach it? Maybe I could find out something about Serbs and their criminals." the blonde woman asked the man with interested.
"Well…" he smirked, "I've heard there is a bunch of drivers, who deliver journalists to Bosnia, but they deliver them to Tuzla, and there they tried to get there on their own." then he looked at the woman, "Do you really want to find something against Serbians?" he seemed puzzled.
"Honestly, it one of my tasks." Shizuru chuckled, 'I hope it will work on him.' Shizuru looked at him, "I don't belive that everything is really good here, so that's why I want to find proofs against them."
"Well." the man pondered, but still took out some paper, "Here, it the residential area, on the West of Belgrade, I know they always have someone." he looked at the woman, "Just tell I need Tuzla nothing more, but from Tuzla you'll be on your own."
"Understood." the woman smiled, but then her phone vibrated, she looked at it, but still was calm, "Sorry, I must go, my friends seem found something interesting." the journalist only nodded and looked at her back.
'Strange people…' Shizuru tried to watch, but still found no one, who was strange, she tried her best, and then quickly turned to the stairs as she saw two persons near the receptionist.
The people had nothing significant in their clothes, however she noticed they showed something to the woman, and, who quickly started to work at her computer then. The Taimanin got upstairs to the second floor, at went along the corridor.
'It'll be difficult even to reach that district.' Shizuru frowned, 'Not speaking to reach other country.'
There were few people on her way, but still no one was interested in her, what she really liked in them. When Shizuru came to the end of the hall, she opened the window, and then while there was no one jumped out of it.
'I hope they didn't notice me.' the lady jumped and onto the ladder and then onto the ground, she took out her phone and then started to type a message, after some minutes there appeared her friends.
"Good thing you were able to escape, and my scent didn't fail me." Toru exhaled.
"Yes, you always sensed dangers well." Kikyo looked at him, "Did you know anything?"
"Yes, we can try to go through Bosnia as planned." Shizuru replied to her Taimanin colleagues, "There is a difficult place, so we can try to us it in order, to sneak in Croatia."
"Well, tell us everything on the place." Toru replied, "We'll do as you tell."
They turned around and saw two persons, who went out of the Hotel and were looking around.
"This way." Shizuru quickly headed to the West, and her comrades followed her.
"So, the blonde one was detected in the hotel 'Planina', that's something." a man in the cloak with the hood and the mask was standing on the roof top, next to him were another two, one of them was the woman, with a dark green uniform and with long fair hair, which were tied in a ponytail, she also was in the mask, but it hid everything only till her nose.
"We're a little late." the woman sighed, "If they checked it on from the first ones, we would be able to capture them."
"The problem that we don't know, where they will head now." the third person who also had a cloak, but instead of the hood he had a red beret replied, "We must try to check all locations in Belgrade."
"Even sleeping areas?" the woman looked at the man with blue eyes, who had a scar on his face.
"Especially them." the man with the beret nodded.
"At least we have dogs." the man with the mask replied, "We must wait until they give us any information."
"It seems you never worked on investigation missions." the man with the beret rolled his eyes.
"Hey!" the girl with the green uniform looked at him, "You know to with who you're speaking!"
"We shouldn't sit and wait, we must start our searching at sleepy areas." the man replied her, "And the biggest one is on the South-West."
"Do you know that we'll won't find them, there it's too big." the woman looked at the man with the beret.
"Are you a scout?" he looked at her.
"No…" she mumbled.
"Then step back and shut up." he came to the man with the hood and the mask, "Your ideas?" he looked at him, "No? Then move your hips lets go there!"
"I'll remind you that." the woman followed the man.
"Calm down, he is the leader of the squad, that's why we must obey him." the man with the mask told her, "Let's focus on the mission, these spies must be found and brought to punishment."
The team of Taimanin came from their mission late night, Oleg and Pavel tried to hold Commander as the man barely could stand, however he tried his best to hold and to move with his legs, while Shiranui was next to them and was about to help, when it was needed. Yukikaze, Tatsurou, Ren and Sakura where not far from them in order to do the same.
"Well, we'll deliver him to the nurse." Oleg suddenly said, "And you can go if you want."
"No, I needed to see everything is fine with him." Shiranui shook with her head, "I'll go with you." Oleg only nodded.
Yukikaze seemed upset, but Tatsurou tried to cheer her somehow, as he couldn't see her sad. Sakura seemed pondered, while Ren also wasn't happy, but thoughtful.
"I still can't understand what wanted that kid." Ren mumbled, "If this anomaly is after him, then why did he make it?"
"Who knows." Sakura shrugged with her shoulders, "But still, for us it's clear now that the anomaly is supposed to be with demons, but not without them."
"And how we could not remember that." Pavel sighed, he glanced at the one eyed man, who gritted his teeth, "Don't worry, the nurse here is really great, she could restore my ribs during first mission with them."
"I'm not worrying." the man mumbled, "Just trying my best not to lose consciousness."
The way seemed long for them, but still they could reach the medical room. On their luck the nurse was on her post. She quickly got up and looked at the man, who needed help.
"Put him onto the bunk." she ordered to Pavel and Oleg.
The man was laid onto it. And the woman ordered Taimanin and Russian hunters to leave as she was about to make surgery on him. The team could do nothing, but obey her, however Shiranui asked her to let her know when everything is done.
"Man, that was really a hard fight." Sakura still couldn't return back to normal after the fight.
"By the way, Pavel." Ren turned to him, "How is it possible that this demon knows you?" her eyes were serious, but still questioning.
"I don't know!" Pavel quickly replied her, "I've never met him before."
"He is not lying, Ren." Oleg was pondered too, "I don't remember he fought with someone like him."
"What are you talking about?" Shiranui looked at the Russian.
"During the fight we met the demon, who knew Pavel, somehow, however he doesn't know him himself." Oleg answered her fast, hearing this answer Shiranui tensed too, "What is it?" the man asked her.
"Me too." Shiranui just replied, "I've met the demon who knew me, but still I didn't meet him. I tried to remember, but still I didn't meet him even being a slave of Incubus King."
"You too?" Ren looked at the woman with the ribbon that was similar to bunny ears, Shiranui only nodded at that, "That's really strange."
"Guys." they suddenly heard a voice of younger Igawa, "Can I talk to all of you about something?" her face was serious and everyone were shocked to see her like that, "I've already talk about that to Pavel and Oleg, so…" she stumbled, "They will agree with me."
Oleg and Pavel quickly understood what she was talking about, but Shiranui, Tatsurou, Yukikaze and Ren seemed puzzled.
"Don't you think we need answers?" Sakura asked the team, "We have nothing about these guys, it's absolutely not what we usually dealt with." everyone looked at her with interest and didn't are to interrupt her, "As I understand there few demons, who know about these guys…" she stumbled watching at Ren and Shiranui, but when saw Oleg, who nodded to her, decide to continue, "I mean Edwin Black or Incubus bastard."
"Do you want us to cooperate with them?" Ren asked Sakura.
"I don't mean we must do that, but they have some kind of relations with them, and they can know a lot about that Walter and another guy."
"Celine." Shiranui corrected her.
"Yes. We couldn't even defeat that guy Walter all together." Sakura continued, "And I'm sure he didn't show his full power yet." she suddenly stopped, as she didn't know how to continue.
"I agree with Sakura." Oleg decide to continue, "We must know at least, who are they and what they want to do with breaking the seal, if it's to return the leader of all demon lords then we must know something about him too."
"Are you nuts?!" Ren exclaimed, "Do you want to come straight in the maw of the predator?! There's no doubt they're with him!"
'Ren…' Pavel looked at her understanding that the girl was hiding her real motifs of anger.
"I don't think so." Shiranui shook with her head, "If they were Kuroi or Black would have already appeared and fought side by side with 'The Third Law'. But I don't understand, that you have no information about these demon lords." she watched at Oleg, "Just some vague legends and fairy tales."
"I belive the modern demon leaders cleaned all information about them." Oleg suddenly offered his idea, "I'm surprised there still something about them."
"And can we belive to these legends?" Yukikaze asked the man, who only looked at Pavel.
"Well…"Pavel mumbled, "I don't' think we should do that. They are really strange and there a lot of fantasy in them." but the he added after a short pause, "My family will bring several books with them, probably there can be something real about these guys." Everyone nodded at them, "Honestly, I don't like that idea, but we have no other option, so to ask them is the only thing we can do for knowing our enemies better." Ren looked at him being shocked.
"Yukikaze, Tatsurou, what are you thinking about it?" Shiranui asked her daughter and foster-child.
"If you agree, we are with you, Mom." Yukikaze replied fast, and hit Tatsurou at his hip.
"Yes, we're with you." Shiranui only shook with her head with a slight smile, "But still was glad young ones didn't mind."
"I disagree." Ren replied to the team.
"Ren…" Sakura wanted to try to convince her student, but the tanned girl interrupted her.
"I will never agree with the idea that we need help of the demon." Ren replied her and then quickly turned around.
Everyone looked at her, but didn't know stop her or not and when she turned the corner, Pavel quickly rushed after her. Yukikaze and Tatsurou wanted to do the same, but woman with the spear stopped them.
"By the way, did you offer such idea to others?" Shiranui asked Oleg.
"Yes, to Takeuti and Kuro." the man replied honestly, "And they have agreed."
"I see." Shiranui nodded, "And what about Asagi?"
"She doesn't know." Sakura replied this time.
"Understood." Shiranui frowned, "I have to discuss something with you two." she looked at the children then, "Tatsurou, Yukikaze you're free if you want you can go home in the morning we'll report everything to Asagi. And don't forget to remind me to tell that Pavel and Ren appeared not far from you."
Yukikaze and Tatsurou nodded and slowly went to the other side of the corridor.
"By the way, we didn't praise Ren and Pavel for killing the enemy." Sakura suddenly snapped with her fingers.
"We'll do it later." Shiranui replied her, "And I think it should be Asagi who'll praise them. For now we have more significant thing to discuss."
"What is it?" Oleg asked Shiranui.
The woman tried to listen to everything around and continued when heard nothing.
"The problem is that Asagi received the invitation of Incubus King, to discuss of what is happening now." Shiranui suddenly said them.
"Really?" Oleg and Sakura exclaimed, the woman only nodded.
"The problem is that we don't know is it a trap or not." Shiranui sighed, "Therefore we don't know visit him or not. His location is in Tokyo café as I remember. It's really strange to appoint meeting on the territory of humans."
"Maybe he wants also to oppose these demons?" Oleg frowned.
"I don't want to let Asagi go alone. But to go with her…" she stumbled.
"I understand, the person, who broke your life and made you to fight your daughter." Sakura quickly understood, why Shiranui didn't want to visit him.
"Even I would never do that." Oleg replied her, "But if you started the talk, that means you have doubt in that, do you?"
"Yes, I understand that we must study as much information about our new friends as we only can, but still I don't know how we must do that." the woman looked at the ceiling.
"If you want we can go to him." Sakura looked at Oleg.
"He called Asagi, I don't think he will talk to us." Shiranui shook with her head, "And who knows that he doesn't work with them."
"Here you're right too." Sakura also didn't like there should be only Asagi.
"We must think everything." Oleg replied her, "However two sources of information won't be extra."
"So, can we really count on you with Black?" Sakura came closer to Shiranui and watched straight at her eyes.
"Yes." Shiranui smiled, "You know, being serious doesn't suit you."
"Well, sometimes even I can be serious." Sakura tried to chuckle.
"Since we have bugger number of people…" Oleg pondered, "We can try to pay him a visit."
"I will try to ask Rinko." Shiranui told him, "And you try to talk to your Russian friends. If they agree we can start to acting."
"I'll do it in the afternoon." Oleg nodded, "I think Maria will be against of it, but still knowing you're with us, probably she will agree."
Oleg and Sakura decided to leave, but Shiranui left as she wanted to know that the man, who saved her daughter was fine, risking with his own life.
"Ren! Wait!" Pavel was after Ren, he could get the girl, when she came to the stairs.
"I didn't know you had plans to have nice conversation with Black." Ren looked at Pavel, she saw he was alone, and her voice was harsh, like the time she talked to him first.
"It wasn't my plan." Pavel replied to Ren fast, "Sakura asked me to help her and…"
"So, you decided to join her in her venture?" Ren crossed her arms under her breast, "Didn't know you're the one who will cooperate with demons especially the ones, who are really dangerous. I hope you didn't ask anyone else especially Maki or Aki?"
"I didn't ask them." Pavel shook with his head, "And I wouldn't ask them because I don't want to put neither you nor your friends into danger!" he added then.
"How kind of you." Ren replied him, she wanted to leave, but Pavel grabbed her hand.
"Listen! I know what he did your parents, but…" she pulled her hand out of his.
"But what?!" she shouted at him, "Want to cooperate with the monster, who did a lot troubles for everyone in this village?!"
"Listen, I…" Pavel tried to reason, but Ren didn't give him such an opportunity.
"Didn't you promise me to help to kill him?!" Ren was watching strait at her classmate and friend with angry eyes, "Why the hell did you agree for that?!"
"I agree that it's a reckless idea and I hardly accepted to take part in it!" Pave also raised his voice, "But the problem is that we don't know who these persons are! If not that strange thing we would be dead from the hands of that demon!"
"The one that knows you." Ren narrowed her eyes.
"I swear you! I don't know who he is!" Pavel replied her, "If I would, I would answer you honestly, I've never lied to you!"
"You really didn't…" Ren nodded, "But still I hate your idea to join sensei!"
"I told you I don't like it either. But we need someone, who will tell us at least something, about them, we fight them not for the first time. And when this guy appears we can do nothing against him. Don't you remember how we fought him even with 'Red Division'?" Ren replied nothing, "If we fought him all alone he would be able to kill us!"
Pavel stopped and looked at Ren, who was only watching at the floor at the same time turning her head away from him. The boy felt uneasy, he didn't know how to continue, but still didn't want to stay calm.
"Maybe I won't understand what you feel, but I understand that if we don't speak to Black not only, but you will also be…" Pavel stumbled, but still could attract Ren's attention, "In danger…" he concluded, "That kid that attacked us, we should know, who are he and the guy that knows me somehow…" Pavel stumbled again, "That's really weird. Just only questions and questions, but damn! Not a single answer!" Pavel hit the wall.
Ren flinched seeing him like that.
'It's not like him.' the girl thought, being worried for Pavel.
"And the thing that makes me mad that I won't be able to protect neither m family nor my friends not even you, because I don't know what we're fight with!"
"Listen…" Ren tried to make him stop, "Sorry for making you acting like that. I didn't know you're thinking in that way." even her voice was worrying.
"No, I must sorry for bruiting out." Pavel sighed, "I… I just don't want to lose anyone."
"Can I ask you something?" Ren asked him, "If you talk to Black and if he even agrees to fight with us, what will be your acts?" Ren asked quietly, but still she was watching at him.
"I don't know." Pavel shook with his head, "It's up to Sakura and the rest to think about that as the creators of that plan."
"I see." Ren answered.
Now there was silence, which neither of them liked, and Ren decided to break it.
"I understood you." she looked at him, "I'm sorry for shouting at you. I didn't know you were thinking that way. But I have a request."
"Of course, what is it?" Pavel asked her.
"Don't drag Aki and Maki into your ventures." she looked at him seriously, "I will not forgive you if you take them."
"I swear you in that!" Pavel nodded, "I'll tell the others not to do that."
"If you break the promise, I won't watch that you're my friend and helped me a lot." she watched at him with serious eyes.
"I never break my word." Pavel looked at Ren, "But can I ask you about something too?" Ren was puzzled he decided ask her about something.
"I want you not to tell Asagi-sensei about that. I don't want to have more problems right now she has really a lot of them because of these guys, and extra worrying for her will be really unneeded."
"Fine, I will not tell, her that." Ren sighed, "And you know what…" Ren stumbled, "Let's put on a semblance we hadn't that talk."
"Huh?" Pavel looked at her with surprised eyes.
"I mean, we're tired and I shouted at you not knowing your real reasons." Ren explained, "If we had our past relations, I would really do something with you, but knowing you a little better, I started… Well no matter, I started to think better of you."
"Ren…"Pavel whispered.
"You don't wish anything bad to anyone here. You are helping Masami and do another important work, while the rest did nothing. That's why I don't want to lose such a good person, and it would be really badif you wouldn't explain your reasons." she looked at him then, "That's why I want to make that there was no that dialogue."
"Don't worry." Pavel smiled, "I also don't want to lose our friendship. I really don't want to cooperate with a monster that made you suffer, but if it's for protecting the one I love, I can do it at least one time."
"Don't be fooled by him." Ren sighed, "And if he really works with us, allow me find a moment to kill him."
"Sure." Pavel chuckled, "When we kill that Walter, we'll kill Black straight after it."
Pavel and Ren decided to go to their homes and meet tomorrow as they had to report everything to Asagi what they had tonight.
"Sakura! Wait!" Oleg shouted at Sakura's back.
"Huh? What is it?" Sakura turned around and looked at him.
"You were distracted when we finished fighting today, you even didn't notice Ayame and Kurenai's leaving." Oleg looked at her, "Is something bothering you?"
"Well… I…" Sakura mumbled.
"I will listen to you out." Oleg looked at her seriously.
"Here." Sakura stretched some book out, "I found this during our fight."
"A book?" Oleg looked at the battered book, it looked old, but still not damaged or torn, "Wait, is it the book of that kid? And when Pavel kicked him, he dropped it out?"
"Yes." Sakura nodded, "I was thinking to check it, when I come back home." she said him, "But as I looked at it, everything there is not clear for me." she sighed.
"Can I see it?" Oleg asked her, she only nodded and gave him the book.
They came to the bench, where was a street lamp, and Oleg opened the book in order to see what was there.
"Wow…" the man only said.
"What is it?" she looked at him with surprise, "Do you understand it?"
"Well, how should I say it…" the man seemed thoughtful and astonished at the same time, even his face was easy to read.
"Come on, tell!" Sakura didn't like that the man wasn't saying her anything about that.
Oleg closed the book and looked it from both sides.
"No title." he only mumbled.
"Just tell." she slightly hit him at his shoulder.
"This book is in Russian." he merely replied.
"Really?!" the younger Igawa was also astonished.
"But it's written in old Russian." Oleg added, "Well, the method of writing is suitable for Russian Empire, but how the hell it was in the hands of this demon…"
"Wait! Do you mean Russian Empire, which was before USSR?" Sakura seemed understanding what the man was talking about, but still he nodded at it.
"I can read it." he only added.
"Really?" Sakura looked at him with gleaming eyes, the man nodded again, "Then we will try to study it. And when we read it, we'll report everything to the others."
Oleg replied nothing, but opened the book one more on the random page in the middle of it, and tensed.
"As I understood there must be a bunch of demons, who are in charge bringing the demons into our world…" Oleg read it.
"Huh?" Sakura looked at the page.
"Indeed, they can be named demon lords, who led the army of demons against humanity." Oleg finished the sentence.
The man was reading the text and quickly translated it in Japanese for Sakura.
"Wait, is it about these guys?" Sakura didn't understand she was eager to know what was next, but Oleg only closed the book.
"Do we have a day off today?" he looked at her, this time she nodded, "Well, if you want I can come to you and we can read it." Oleg gave her an idea.
"No, it's better if I come to you." Sakura said him. "Sis, will be at home, that's why it'll be better if I stay at you."
"If you really want that." Oleg wasn't sure was it good or not.
"What? Are you thinking about something lewd?" she grinned.
"Very funny." Oleg got up and looked at the woman, "I'll take that book if you don't mind, probably I would try to read it, and I'll start to tell you what is it about."
"Fine." Sakura agreed with him, "Then till the afternoon. We can meet after we report everything to sis."
"Deal." Oleg nodded, "Then have a good night."
"Good night." Sakura replied him, "And I think we should discuss the plan, how we should visit Black, maybe there will be some kind of an opportunity."
"It's better to ask 'Red Division', they know what happens in criminal circles. But if Commander is here it'll be easy for us to communicate with them."
"Well, he needs to be treated first." Sakura answered him and then we can ask him.
"Yes, here you're right." Oleg nodded, "Tell Asagi about him, by the way I think it'll be bad to hide that from her."
"Okay!" she exclaimed and then turned around, "Till morning!"
Sakura ran home, and Oleg stood for some minutes watching at her back, but then decided to go too. As it was late night and in several hours he had to meet the rest and report everything to Asagi, what happened to the tonight, and at the same time he wanted to start the book Sakura found.
"Man I can't belive we're just patrolling that damn place and nothing more." A tall person in Taimanin uniform mumbled, "Maybe that wasp guy made a good cocoon, and decided to go to slumber?"
"Not funny." a woman next to him replied, "He captured few of our people, how can you find a moment for joking?"
"Do you think I like that?" the man replied her angrily, "On Asagi's place I would order to enter that place and stomp the insect."
"And to die there, very good idea." the woman with green hair replied, "How didn't I make such an idea?"
"Well, a lot of time has passed, maybe they have died or went somewhere else?" the man with brownish hair offered her his idea.
"And how could they do that? Since we always observe the building?" the woman asked him, "There was no movement at all."
"Well, if they don't go out maybe they're thinking of something at least that big monster Asagi told us about." the man with a whip looked at the woman.
"This guy can think of something." the woman replied him, "The wasps don't think a lot."
The man and the woman looked around and continued to observe the building.
"How long should we be here till the change?" the man asked the woman again.
"I think two more hours." she replied him, "However, I feel a little hungry. Maybe they would come a little earlier."
"Dream on, this work is the most lousy." the man answered her, "If my will I would call some people to explode this place, if there weren't our men."
"Wait…" the woman suddenly interrupted the man, "Did you hear that?"
"What?!" the man looked at her, and then they quickly jumped to different sides as something quite big flew between them, "The hell is that?!" he exposed his whip, which quickly covered with flame.
"It's returning!" the woman exposed a short dagger and jumped, "Now!" but then she was suddenly kicked at her back, "What?!"
"Damn!" the man mumbled, "Report to base! The wasp appeared again! Do you hear me?" he said into his communicator and then hit the wasp with his whip, but when was about to finish it, something hit him too, Shit!"
"Not so fast!" the woman protected the man, "Well, you're really an ugly type." the woman crossed her dagger with the humanoid wasp, the monster replied nothing, but only pushed the woman away and took a wing, "Peace of shit, we must escape!"
"As if we'll be able to do that…" the man did a dancing move making the wasp to retreat, "At least we warned the rest!"
"How the hell it appeared out of the nowhere?" the woman jumped aside, but when she tried to move she felt like she was stuck, "What?! When did he…?"
"I'll help!" the man tried to hit the humanoid, but it shot a sting out of his hand at the man, "Wow!" the man barely could avoid the sting, but then felt how the creature was near him and sliced with the process on his foot, "Shit!"
"Ichiro!" the woman exclaimed, but next moment she dropped her dagger and shut her ears, "That noise! Make it stop!"
The creature was in front of her, and was moving with its wings fast. The woman fell, and then the creature nodded to the wasp to take the woman and when appeared the second wasp he ordered to take the man. The creature looked around and saw no one around, it looked at his wasps, and then took a wing again and then flew to the opposite side of the building.
Oleg returned to the dormitory, when Pavel was already there. The boy was having a snack, when the man appeared there in his uniform.
"Wow, you're later Oleg Semenovich, has something happened?" the boy asked the man.
"No, I just decide to breathe with fresh air." Oleg merely replied him.
The man, before coming, hid the book inside his uniform. It was pretty loose so Pavel could see nothing. Oleg decided to sit at the table too, but when the dormitory keeper appeared, he said her he isn't hungry.
"By the way, did you talk to Ren?" Oleg asked him.
"Huh?" Pavel looked at the man with surprise.
"Don't tell me you did nothing." Oleg said him, "She seemed upset, because of our idea, I thought you would go and talk to her."
"Well…" Pavel put the fork, "She really did, but still we made a deal." Pavel's mentor became surprised, "Maki and Aki are out of the idea. I promised her we won't take them. And she won't tell about that." the boy decided to avoid Asagi's name.
"Understood." Oleg nodded, "Then we won't ask them about that. One Rinko will be enough, I think." he raised his head, "I hope there was no arguing, wasn't there?"
"There was, but everything is fine now, I guess." the boy merely replied, "She understood our situation and we stopped the arguing."
"Nice to hear, you could deal with her." Oleg smiled, "Ren can be hot head sometimes."
"She has her own reasons for that." Pavel didn't like the words of his teacher.
"Understood." Oleg nodded understanding he should say that, "By the way, what's with Andou? Is the treatment going well?"
"Yes." Pavel put some of spaghetti into his mouth, "I think tomorrow we will ask Maria Sergeievna to check her, and maybe we'll do the final step."
"Nice to hear that." Oleg replied watching at him, "I still can't belive you became much livelier here than in Russia."
"What?!" Pavel coughed.
"I mean it's nice to see you could make good friends here." the man explained his words, "I think your family will like your changing." Oleg suddenly got up, the man came to the boy and clapped his shoulder, "They came next week if I remember it right, if you want you can try to take a permission to go to Tokyo at least it'll be good for them, but not to stay in the village."
"Probably, you're right, but what if you need me on a mission?" Pavel asked the man.
"Well, at least, for one time we'll go without you." Oleg stated and clapped the boy by his shoulder.
The man headed to their room. He quickly changed his clothes before that and then sat at his desk and opened the book. Pavel went to bed, but the man decided to work a little at the new book.
'I still can't understand how this book was in the hands of that kid.' Oleg was watching at it for some time, 'How he could take it and why he didn't try to take it back?' Oleg opened the first page and started to read, then he read another page, 'Is it something like a diary?' Oleg quickly looked through it, 'Yes, it seems so.' the man nodded later, 'But still if it's a diary, then who has written it? I don't think that boy did it.' Oleg rubbed his eyes, 'Well, for now I think I shall go sleep, the rest will be tomorrow.' The man pondered watching at the clocks, 'Somehow I won't be able to start it as planned, but still maybe the day will be more productive?' he lie onto the bad and quickly fell asleep.
"Lord Walter, why we're not on the base with our allies?" Minori asked the man in the armor.
"Because we have to discuss something." Walter replied her and then shouted, "Celine!"
Next moment a cold steam appeared behind them, the man and the woman quickly turned around and saw a person in metal armor along with the straw haired girl in the cloak.
"What… happened?" Celine asked the man.
"I want to discuss something with you." the man said her, "It's about the anomaly we had tonight."
"What… happened?" Celine asked him the same question.
"The one who was after it, is our acquaintance." the man merely replied her, "I hope you didn't forget the kid, who used lightings, did you?"
"General?" Celine bent her head.
"Yes, I surprised the general are still alive." Walter came a little closer to her, "If the one is alive, then can it be possible the others could survive?"
"Could…" Celine nodded, "Lord of black wasps… survived too…" Celine replied him, 'Hiding… will not…good…' Celine thought exhaling cold steam.
"Really?" Walter pondered, "And when did you know about him?" the man looked seriously at her.
"Taimanin disappeared… of his attacks…" Celine merely answered him, "Needed… to check…"
"I see." the man seemed frowned, "Both of them are the generals of the fifth Lord of the third line. All of us had three of generals, and her two are survived." he looked at Celine again, "It seems the third general must appear soon."
"Think so… too…" Celine nodded, "Were strong… together…can give trouble…" Celine answered the man.
"But still what is their goal?" Walter pondered, "Do they want to check something or what?"
"Don't know…" Celine answered him.
They kept silent. Neither Stephanie nor Minori dared to interrupt them. But still Walter seemed thought, while Celine was watching at the night sky.
"Do you continue to look for the source of the voice that boy is hearing?" Walter suddenly asked her, his voice seemed uninterested.
"Searching…" the woman in the armor replied him, "Sometimes… hear it… sometimes not…" Celine added after pause.
"Inform me, when you find it." Walter replied her and then turned to Minori, "Well, we must leave, inform Murn and Ulan if it's needed they will help to Torch's squad if it's needed."
"Yes, my lord!" the former Taimanin replied him fast and then both of them disappeared leaving Celine and Stephanie alone.
"Is something bothering you?" Stephanie came to Celine, "You always thoughtful, but this time you're more than usually."
"Nothing… special…" Celine replied her, "Must continue… searching…" the woman turned around, "Something happens… will need you help…"
"Ah? Of course, I'll do everything what you ask!" Stephanie replied her fast.
"If needed… will help Taimanin…" Celine suddenly added.
"Wait! But I thought they're our enemies!" Stephanie was surprised of such order.
"Don't ask… just do…" Celine watched at the lady.
Stephanie saw her eyes, they weren't neither angry nor demanding, but casual eyes, which also seemed a little tired.
"Okay…" the helper of Celine nodded, "I'll do whatever you ask. If you say that, you must have really great aims." Celine only nodded and then both of them disappeared.
Shiranui was standing for a long time at the hall. She was worried that the nurse was doing her work long, however she believed that everything would be fine with the savior of her daughter. She was standing for two or so hours, and they were really like hell. But when the nurse left out of the office, she quickly came to her.
"I'm surprised you decided to wait that long." the woman seemed wondered, "Don't worry everything is fine, tomorrow we will deliver his to hospital just few days and everything is fine."
"Thank goodness." Shiranui exhaled, "Can I see him?"
"Yes, I was doing everything without anesthesia." she replied, "That man was really persistent, and in some ways he is really amazing."
"I would say idiotic." Shiranui sighed hearing that, "But still, I'm glad he is fine."
"Yes, you can see him if you want, but not for long." the woman warned her, "He still needs rest."
"Of course." Shiranui nodded and then entered the office, but then the nursed stopped her.
"Tell him that the one, who used this clay, is really a smart one, if not that he maybe not be able to reach here." Shiranui nodded remembering the boy and the man, who spent his alcohol, "I'll tell him to thank them." she closed the door and put her spear at the corner of the office, "Well, I've hear you were able to bear everything without anesthesia, you're bold one."
"I got used to such kind of things." Cyclopes answered her.
Shiranui came to him and put his scythe next to his bunk.
"How are you? Your wound was really bad. If something is bothering you or…"
"I'm fine." Shiranui was interrupted by him, "What about you?" he pointed at his head, "No problems?"
"No, I'm fine too." Shiranui smiled that this man, who was in danger was worrying about her too, "Your guys did an impressive work, but I'm sorry for what happened to your comrade."
"Don't be." Cyclopes replied, "He knew what can happen to him that's why everything what happened to him was in his hands." Shiranui sat next to him, and stared at him face as if she was trying to remember him.
The man couldn't understand what was it about and then decided to ask her, "Still didn't remember me?" Shiranui raised her eyebrow, "Several years ago, you supposed to kill him and we were trying to get him to the court." Shiranui narrowed her eyes, "You fought me with Asagi and Yatsu Kuro."
"Yes!" Shiranui snapped with her fingers, "I also got your eye." she seemed to remember the man in front of her, "But you weren't alone, there appeared another one, wait was he…" she seemed to remember the other person.
"It was Drunkard." the man replied, "He used demonization in order to let me to retreat."
"Well, sorry for that." she pointed at his eye patch.
"Don't worry, if not you I wouldn't be able to upgrade it and myself." the man slightly smiled.
"But still if my husband worked for you, why you didn't try to join forces with us earlier?" Shiranui asked him.
"That question is better to be asked to politicians, not to me." the man replied her calmly, "Man, I still can't forget that fail, you really made us messed up." he chuckled then.
"Yeah, you all were really strong." the woman started to remember the detail of the fight, "By the way, thank you a lot for protecting Yukikaze, if not you I don't even know what could happen to her."
"Just forget it." the man answered her, "Let's just say, I saved her because of Yasuhiro's help." the man merely replied, it seemed he didn't want to discuss that, "So, do I need to go to Asagi with you?"
"No, you'll be sent to the hospital for few days, and then you'll be able to go wherever you want." Shiranui replied him.
"I don't need hospitals." the man mumbled, he tried to get up, but Shiranui quickly made he to lie on the bunk.
"Hey! Quickly stop that!" Shiranui demanded, "What if something happens?!"
"I've had more serious wounds." the man answered her, but still obeyed her.
"I'll inform Asagi about you, and when she visits you, I'll join her." Shiranui smiled to him, "I don't want you to argue with her."
"Are you my mother?" Commander looked at her with his eye.
"Not mother, but educator." she sat onto the chair again, "Listen, I wanted to ask you." Commander looked at her with interest as her voice was serious, "You fought that Walter, is he really that strong?"
"Yes, he is." the man nodded, "And honestly, he is the most powerful guy I've ever fought."
"I see." she frowned, "That means the idea we planned is really not bad."
"What idea?" the man asked Shiranui.
"Listen, I'll discuss with you something later, I think you also will be interested in that." Shiranui turned back to him.
Commander was intrigued, but still didn't show that and agreed to listen to her out.
"Well, lay and don't do anything stupid, listen to the nurse and don't argue." Shiranui suddenly got up, she went to the door and took her spear, "If you don't, I'll punish you." she winked to him.
"Okay, mom." Commander rolled his eye.
"And I also would like to ask you about one thing, but it'll be later, when you'll be discharged from the hospital." she added before leaving.
"It seems I have to do really a lot here." Commander wasn't glad that at his first visit Shiranui planned two things for him, but still decided not to argue as if not her persistent he could die on the way to the base.
'It seems my visit here we'll be full with different events.' the man thought, 'Well, at least I'll be able to see hiss potential and maybe I'll train him for some time.' the man slightly smiled, 'Be ready for severe training kid.'
