Adventure Time with Finn, Jake, & Rachel
Chapter 14: Freak City
It all started one day in the Yellow Forest. There were graves littered on the grass, birds were chirping, and Finn, Jake, Mille, Callie, Rachel, and Betty were walking.
"Walking, walking, walking – hambone break!", Finn shouted as he started ham-boning.
"Woo-hoo!", Jake cheered.
Then, Finn started to reach for Jake next.
"Hey. Hey, get away from me.", Jake said.
But Finn only playfully hamboned Jake, making him laugh.
"Quit it.", Jake said with both a laugh and a blush.
"Is that what it's like all the time?", Betty asked.
"Well, we've only hung out for like almost a month, so... maybe? I just wish Dad could've been here with us.", Rachel replied.
"Yeah, but he needed to make amends with all the Princesses of Ooo.", Betty explained.
"Well, you're not wrong there.", Rachel agreed.
But then, a voice called out nearby.
"Food for a beggar…", a voice spoke up.
"Did you hear that?", Mille asked.
"Hear that? I SAW that.", Callie replied, pointing toward a mysterious man lying on the grass in tattered clothing.
He got up off the grass with a flip that seemed almost magical.
"Food for a poor old man?", the stranger asked.
The 6 were quite surprised.
"Whoa!", Jake reacted.
"Whaaa?!", Callie added.
"Geez Louise, guy.", Finn commented.
"You look messed up.", Mille added.
"Are you okay?", Rachel asked.
"Anything we can do to help?", Betty asked.
"Perhaps there is one thing if you have it, children. Food?", the stranger asked, holding his hand out in front of Finn.
Finn then searched through the backpack and found a cube of sugar.
"I got this little piece of sugar.", Finn said to herself.
"And I can make a snowcone.", Rachel added, making said snowcone.
"Nuts, I'm freaking all about sugar. But I am even more about feeding hobos!", Finn thought as he clenched the sugar cube into his fist.
"Whoa, man. Maybe helping this starving homeless guy is wrong thing to do.", Jake said.
"Why?", Finn asked.
"Um, Finn? Last time Callie and I helped some stranger out, we both wound up turned into babies.", Mille replied.
"Oh. So, that's how that happened.", Jake said.
"A hero always helps someone in need and besides he's probably secretly an elf who will reward us for being nice.", Finn replied.
"Or some mega-jerk who punishes people for kindness.", Callie argued.
"I just want to help the guy. It's not like I have anything else I could want in return. I already have ice powers and my family back. So, I'm actually quite happy with my life.", Rachel added, gesturing to Betty, who grinned to her.
"Aww, and I love you, too, Rae-Rae.", Betty beamed.
"All right. Just don't say we didn't warn you.", Callie said.
"Here you go, buddy.", Finn spoke, handing the sugar cube to the man.
"Same here.", Rachel added, holding out the snowcone.
"Whoa.", Finn and Rachel exclaimed as the man then quickly snatched the sugar cube from Finn's hand as well as the snowcone from Rachel's hand, and ate them.
"Wow. You sure are hungry, aren't you?", Rachel asked.
The man said nothing for his mouth was full. Then, he swallowed. And then, he spoke.
"You know, believe or not, I'm not really a beggar. I'm actually a…", the man said before taking off the wooly cloak and revealing himself.
"Magic Man!", Magic Man finished as he did a little riff.
Finn and Jake were amazed, especially Rachel and Betty.
"Whoa!", Jake exclaimed.
"Aw, yeah!", Finn added.
"He's... he's magic!", Rachel spoke in amazement.
"I di... I didn't expect this.", Jake admitted.
Alas, both Mille and Callie gasped in horror at an apparently awful sight before becoming angry.
"MAGIC MAN?!", Mille and Callie shouted.
Betty quickly rushed in to hold them back from attacking him.
"Let me at him! Let me at him!", Mille shouted.
"Huh?", Rachel puzzled in worry.
"Ah! Mille and Callie! So nice to see you two again.", Magic Man grinned.
"Wait, he's the guy who turned you into babies?", Rachel asked.
"Don't remind me...!", Mille growled.
"I'll take that as a yes.", Rachel said.
Magic Man got down on one knee and started whistling with a bird landing in his hand. While the bird was in his hand, though, he rubbed the fingers of his other hand together and opened it.
"Magic...", Magic Man spoke as the bird was suddenly turned inside out with its Muscles and fat now on the outside. "Away!"
Magic Man shooed the bird away, but it dropped to the ground, flapping its wings and struggling to fly away. Seeing this, Mille and Callie were seething with rage, Rachel was horrified, and Betty was disgusted to the point of vomiting.
Meanwhile, Finn and Jake were distraught as the former held the latter, whose eyes were closed and was shuddering.
"Think happy thoughts… Little, cute bees, little babies, tiny, tiny bunnies.", Jake shuddered.
Finn and Rachel then turned angrily toward Magic Man.
"What is wrong with you, Magic Man?!", Finn scolded.
"Yeah. What you did just traumatized the poor dog! He's shaking.", Rachel added.
"You gave me that candy. AND a snowcone. Now, I'll do you both a favor in return. A magic favor.", Magic man spoke before zapping both Finn and Rachel, leaving behind blue dust cloud covers over Finn and Rachel.
The cloud parted as Magic Man started singing.
"A mystical, magical favor!", Magic Man began as both Finn and Rachel's bodies started transforming.
As they changed, Jake, Betty, Mille, and Callie looked on, worried. While Finn's body stretched and became shaped like a giant foot (well just his lower half; his top half remains the same), Rachel's belly suddenly started swelling up.
"Whoa!", Rachel reacted as she wound up inflated to a point that her arms and legs got swallowed up by the massive growth like a blueberry (except her hair was white and she was already blue to begin with).
When the change finished, both Finn and Rachel yelled out in shock.
"Whoa, dude!", Finn exclaimed.
"Rae-Rae!", Betty shouted at the same time.
"...For you!", Magic Man finished.
"Why did you do that?!", Rachel shouted.
"Because this day, a magical life lesson comes to you.", Magic Man replied.
"GRAAAGH! YOU MONSTER!", Callie roared, trying to slash at Magic Man, who was admittedly scared.
"Change them back, right now!", Mille demanded.
"Not until these two appreciate what a jerk I am. Wazoo!", Magic Man shouted as he jumped into the air and exploded into fireworks, which said, "Eat It."
"What a nutty guy.", Jake said.
"Are you okay, Rae-Rae?!", Betty asked.
"Yeah, I'm just... bloated?", Rachel replied.
"Now, do you see what we had to go through?", Mille asked.
"Yeah... Maybe giving him something to tide him over was a bad idea.", Rachel said.
"What the heck, man?! What kind of deal is that?! We help somebody out and they make Rae-Rae a big belly and then make me a stinky foot?!", Finn shouted before Jake then sniffed at him.
"You smell pretty good.", Jake responded before Finn only shoved Jake away from him.
"Get off of me, man! We can't be heroes if we're a big belly and a big, good-smelling foot!", Finn panicked.
"Don't worry. We'll find that Magic Man. And we'll make him pay!", Mille vowed angrily.
"Maybe you're looking at this magic gift all wrong. Now that you're a huge foot you can kick evil's butt, like, way more times as hard. You're 100% kick, man!", Jake assured, holding his index finger and thumb in a ring while the rest of his fingers up.
"Why are you being so level-headed about this?", Finn asked.
"Aren't you the least bit concerned about what happened to Finn and Rachel?", Mille asked.
"Don't be a siss, Finn. Here, c'mon. Kick my butt.", Jake only responded before he stretched his butt big and wide, making Finn and Rachel blush.
"You're the SISS, siss!", Finn retorted.
Then, he tried to kick Jake, but instead, he fell over.
"Finn...", Rachel said in worry.
Then, she tried to move, but it was no use.
"Mom, could you help move me over to Finn and help me help him up, please?", Rachel asked.
"Of course.", Betty nodded, rolling Rachel toward Finn.
It was a bit difficult, but Betty was able to roll Rachel to Finn in a way that helped him back up.
"Thanks, Mom.", Rachel thanked.
"No problem.", Betty responded.
"Okay, Finn. If you wanna find the magic man that did this and change back to normal, you need to at least get used to moving in your new body first. So, what can you do right now?", Rachel asked.
"I don't know, Rae-Rae...", FInn sighed.
Then, Rachel examined Finn's foot body for a moment.
"Well, you look more like the kind of food that's eager for jumping. So, let's start small and get jumping out of the way first.", Rachel said.
"Jumping? I don't know.", Finn said in worry.
"It's okay. Just try to hunch down for a bit and then shoot back up.", Rachel said.
"How do I do that now?", Finn asked.
"Imagine the foot part of your body as your whole body. Scrunch down halfway like this. And then shoot back up like this.", Betty explained while giving a visual aid.
"Hmm.", Finn puzzled.
Nevertheless, Finn scrunched his foot body down a bit and then shot up, jumping a few feet before landing.
"Hey. I did it!", Finn spoke in awe.
"Great job, Finn.", Betty grinned.
"Now, can you try hopping over to Jake to see if you can at least hit him?", Rachel asked.
"Okay. But I'm only doing this 'cause you asked.", Finn responded.
Then, Finn hopped over to Jake in 2 hops. And in the 3rd, he managed to hit Jake in the butt, knocking him off and causing him to roll down the hill.
"AAAH!", Jake screamed before he fell in the bush.
"Well, he can't say you didn't try now.", Callie said.
Luckily, Jake popped out of the bush he landed in.
"Whew! That actually kinda hurt.", Jake said before widening his eyes.
"Hey... It DID hurt! See, man? Let's give your new bodies a shot.", Jake grinned.
"What?! What about Magic Man?!", Callie exclaimed.
"We need to find him and get him to change them back!", Mille added.
"Yeah, they're right, Jake.", Finn agreed.
"What? Come on, Callie. Just help Finn and Rae-Rae enjoy being a foot and a belly for a little bit.", Jake pleaded.
"No.", Callie refused.
"No?", Jake asked.
"NO!", Callie repeated a bit vehemently.
"Mmmmm.", Jake groaned a bit sadly.
But all of a sudden, Rachel's tiara glowed.
"Huh?", Rachel puzzled.
"Rachel, what's going on?", Betty asked.
"I don't know, Mom. But whatever's about to happen, it's feeling tingly...", Rachel replied.
Then, her whole inflated body glowed, not only earning her surprised moans as well as causing her to swell bigger, but also pushing out her arms and legs a little bit to the point where she can start to move again.
"Whew...! I don't know what just happened, but it felt really good.", Rachel said, barely able to move her hands, feet, and part of her limbs.
Then, Rachel had a realization.
"Hey...! I can actually move again!", Rachel grinned.
Then, while she was able to move her feet and bottom parts of her legs, she couldn't quite move her feet closer to each other.
"Okay, almost.", Rachel said.
She looked up toward the tiara on her head, the glow ceasing.
"Is that because of my tiara?", Rachel puzzled.
"Possibly. You said the last time was when you got turned lumpy by LSP by accident, right?", Betty asked.
"Come to think of it, yeah.", Rachel replied.
Then, a clever thought was hatched as Rachel smirked.
"Hmm... Okay, Jake. Maybe we will give those new bodies a shot.", Rachel said, rolling over to Jake on her belly. "But on one condition. If and when we get used to these new bodies, you need to help us find Magic Man so I can personally crush him! Breezily. With my huge belly! Or my ice-powered mitts. I don't care which."
"That sounds like a good deal.", Finn said.
"Awesome, dude! You will never regret this. Hahaha!", Jake grinned.
"I sure hope not...", Rachel nervously giggled. "I wonder how Dad's doing..."
Meanwhile, Simon was at the Wildberry Princess.
"I'm sorry I kidnapped you back when I was the Ice King. Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?", Simon asked.
"Oh, you poor thing. Of course you're forgiven. Would you care for some tea?", Wildberry Princess grinned.
"Thanks for the offer, but maybe next time. I gotta go apologize to Slime Princess across the next kingdom. Anyway, I hope we're square.", Simon said before taking his leave as he flew away.
Later, still in the forest, but in a more wide-open space, while Finn is now upside-down and attached to some sort of spring catapult with a trigger, Rachel was already in front of a gate which led to a slide-like ramp that goes down and then up, made by Betty herself.
"Okay, what exactly is the plan here?", Betty asked.
"Simple. When the next monster comes along, he'll step on that trigger over there, sending your giant foot body, Finn, into the monster's crotch! And that'll be your cue, Betty, to release the gate so Rae-Rae can roll down that ramp, launch off it, and hit him in the face!", Jake explained.
"This sucks, dude.", Finn, Mille, and Callie said at the same time.
"Shhh.", Jake only shushed.
"Doing some planning, were you? You didn't strike me as a theoretical fightonomics kind of guy.", Rachel smirked.
"Yep. I'm a genius.", Jake replied.
Just then, a roaring monster's voice was heard.
"Here he comes now.", Jake urged.
Suddenly, a two-headed monster came into view.
"We're evil!", the monster roared before he inadvertently stepped on the trigger and launched Finn right into his crotch, making the monster roar in pain.
"All right, Betty, fire her up!", Jake shouted as he caught Finn and carried him.
With that, Betty pushed the gate down with a lever, causing Rachel to roll down the ramp and get launched off with a surprised yell.
"Our crotch! our evil cro...!", the monster shouted only for Rachel to hit the monster by the chest and tip him down.
"Ha! What was that you were gonna say? 'Our evil "cr-ouch"'?", Rachel joked.
Jake laughed as he then caught up.
"Hahaha! Good one, Rae-Rae! What'd I tell you? You guys're great heroes! Let's go set up some more crotch catapults and ice ramps so we can laugh and be heroes.", Jake grinned.
"No, Jake. Let's find that Magic Man.", Finn urged.
"Finn, being an enormous crotch-kicking foot is a gift. Don't scorn a gift.", Jake retorted.
"Just hold it out for a little bit longer, Finn. I don't think we're quite used to these bodies yet, but we're getting there.", Rachel said.
"Well, now that you mention it, I can't even bend these big fat toes.", Finn replied.
"Exactly. So, we'll only need to go through with this a little bit until we're completely used to it. Then, we'll go hunt for that Magic Man.", Rachel said, bouncing along with the group.
"I hope you're right...", Mille sighed.
"Uh, now who's being level-headed about it?", Betty asked.
"Yeah, you seem to be handling it pretty well.", Callie added.
"Hey, I can't help how my body feels.", Rachel said.
"Hmmm...", Callie spoke in slight suspicion.
Just then, indistinct shouting was heard. The group of 6 turned toward the source of the noise and found out that Rump Town is on fire.
"Town on fire! This looks like a job for foot Finn stomping ability!", Jake shouted.
"And Rae-Rae's flame-dousing ice powers.", Rachel smirked, holding out her hand as best she can and letting loose a small ice lightning bolt.
"Yeah, that's the spirit, Rae-Rae!", Jake grinned.
"But Rae-Rae, what if those people out there call you two freaks?", Betty asked in worry, making Finn gasp in worry.
"Well, I wouldn't be surprised given how we look. So, it would be totally understandable. Besides, if we are gonna be stuck as freaks in the event that Magic Man refuses to turn us back, only 'if', mind you, we might as well be good, heroic freaks, making a name for ourselves.", Rachel replied.
"Really?", Finn asked.
"You'd be surprised how many times I've had to deal with people labeling me before they even get to know me. After all, sometimes, actions speak louder than words.", Rachel responded.
"Sounds kinda corny, Rae-Rae, but that's a good attitude! Now, we're gonna go rescue all the babies in town- -only the babies.", Jake said in a deep voice.
"All right. Let's do this.", Rachel said before squatting down and then bouncing up high into the air.
"Well, you heard her. Get your hero on, dude!", Jake shouted as he then threw Finn towards Rump Town.
Finn screamed as he flew through the air alongside Rachel. At the same time, though Rachel's tiara glowed again.
"Huh? It's happening again.", Rachel said before she started to swell bigger again.
"Whoa...!", Rachel reacted as she swelled on every crevice of her body, especially to a point that half her limbs are fully movable.
"Whoa-hoa-hoa-hoa! I am definitely loving this...!", Rachel grinned, finally able to move her feet and hands freely.
Meanwhile, the townspeople fled before Finn and Rachel landed in the middle of the town, the latter inadvertently making the place shake for a moment.
"Whoa. I think I might be getting a bit too big if I can make the place quake like that...", Rachel commented.
Then, she turned to the fire.
"Uhh. Okay, you can do this, Finn. Start small, man. I'm taking you down!", Finn spoke in sweaty determination whilst pointing at the fire.
"Don't try too hard, Finn. Relax.", Rachel advised.
Alas, while Finn did manage to jump and step on the fire to put it out, he unfortunately felt the slight searing heat of the small fire. He even screamed as Rachel winced with a sharp inhale.
"It's hot! Oh, man, I'm smoking hot!", Finn pleaded, catching the townspeople's attention.
"All right, Finn. Try laying down.", Rachel said.
With little to no choice, Finn did so, revealing a singed spot on the bottom of his foot body.
"Well, it doesn't look too bad. Just try to hold still.", Rachel said.
Then, she cast a slight snow spell to apply the snow to the singe mark, making Finn sigh in relief.
"Thanks, Rae-Rae.", Finn sighed in relief.
"You're welcome.", Rachel grinned.
Unfortunately, the relief was brief for the townspeople gathered around Finn and Rachel, angrily.
"It's another one of those freaks!", a townsperson in a red shirt shouted.
"Wait. Freaks?", Rachel asked before remembering what her mother, Betty asked her.
"Oh."
"They probably started this fire!", another in a green shirt accused.
"No, we didn't start any –", Finn began.
"Ma'am! I can assure you that we may be freaks (at least for the moment), but we are not the ones who started the fire. Although, we're more than happy to help put it out for y'all!", Rachel said.
Finn glanced toward Rachel.
"Well, I'm the biggest one right now. Somebody had to do it. We came here to help those people, and that's what we're gonna do. Besides, I have Ice powers, remember?", Rachel asked.
With quick-thinking, Rachel applied some more of the insulated snow on the bottom of Finn's foot body, making him shiver for a moment before she helped him up. Then, he hopped over to the fire and put it out. This time, he felt no pain and gave a wide open smile. As for Rachel, she scooped up some water from the trough with her mouth and then spewed water all over the fires, dousing it completely until the fire is gone, astonishing the townspeople. To finish, she even spat the remaining water back into the trough.
"Boom. Fire doused.", Rachel smirked.
"Hey, did you see that?", the 1st townsperson asked.
"Yeah. That freak saved us.", the 2nd added in awe.
"Please. Call me Rachel. Rachel... the Belly.", Rachel smirked, patting herself softly.
"The Belly?", the townspeople gasped.
"For now. And this is Finn. He's not exactly used to it yet, but he's getting there.", Rachel said.
"Uh... hey.", Finn greeted nervously.
"In any case, we'd better get going. We don't wanna impose on you guys any further. Besides, we need to get back to our friends.", Rachel said.
"I don't know about your friend, but I think we might have an idea about where we can find other freaks like you who could use a stern talking-to, at least.", the first townsperson assured.
"You do?", Rachel asked.
"Yeah. There're rumors that they live in an underground bridge not too far from here. And with your help, those disasters could be prevented in our town for all time.", the 2nd added.
"Well, that is a good idea, actually, but...", Finn began before the 3rd townsperson in a blue shirt interrupted.
"Let's take those two under the bridge where the others are so they can stop this madness!", the 3rd shouted before Rachel's belly growled.
"Right after we give 'em some food.", the 3rd townsperson added.
Later, the Townspeople had already picked up Finn and Rachel (who was currently eating some bread) and were carrying them off to the bottom of the bridge.
"Oh, wait. You think that Magic Man may be here, Rachel?", Finn asked.
"Maybe. All I know is, I think I could get used to this belly body.", Rachel said before finishing the rest of her bread.
Frankly, neither of them knew that Magic man had been watching nearby.
"I don't understand it. Most people would become miserable in under 5 minutes.", Magic Man puzzled in bafflement.
It wasn't long before the townspeople finally arrived at their location and gently pushed Rachel to make her roll toward the bottom first before Finn landed on Rachel first and then back on the ground.
"Oof...!", Rachel grunted.
"You okay, Rae-Rae?", Finn asked.
"Yeah... I'm okay. As long as you're all right. Thanks for the food, guys!", Rachel called.
"You're welcome! Once the crisis is over, you're more than welcome to visit anytime.", the first townsperson assured.
Of course, Rachel grinned from this with a giggle.
"You? Not so much. But you're okay.", he added, glancing over to Finn.
"Aw...", Finn said.
"It's okay, Finn. It could've been worse.", Rachel assured.
The Townspeople all chanted as they went back to their town.
"Freak! Freak! Freak!", the townspeople chanted.
"Are they cheering for us? Or against whoever's under that bridge?", Finn asked.
"No clue. Maybe both? Either way, I think I could really get the hang of this belly body. That is, if only to squish that Magic Man a new one the next time we see him.", Rachel smirked.
Still nearby, the Magic Man gulped nervously.
"I donked up for real.", Magic Man spoke before he then walked away backwards, cautiously.
Meanwhile, Betty, Mille, Callie, and Jake called out to Finn and Rachel while running toward them with their arms full of babies.
"Finn! Rae-Rae!", the four called.
"Oh. Hey, guys.", Rachel greeted.
"How'd you find us?", Finn asked.
"We talked to some townspeople as we were rescuing the babies. They seemed very grateful for what you both did.", Betty replied.
"Huh. That's cool.", Rachel grinned.
"Okay. Now that we're pretty much used to this, we have to find that magic guy and get our old bodies back now!", Finn urged as Jake put the babies down and they crawled away.
"What we have to do is find out what reeks under this bridge.", Jake said before sniffing.
"Jake!", Finn groaned before Mille and everyone else caught the scent and became disgusted.
"BLAGH! It's like warm garbage up in here...!", Callie spoke in disgust.
"Ugh... Actually, something does smell really weird. Like... moldy cheese and puke.", Mille commented.
Jake and Callie then walked toward the underside of the bridge.
"Ew, it's blocking out your good foot smell.", Jake said.
"Jake, get back here!", Rachel groaned nasily as she covered her nose.
"Ugh, it—it smells like vomit on fire. It's like fancy cheese in an old guy's mouth.", Jake commented.
"Can you please not say those words out loud?", Callie asked as behind her and Jake, there was a Cyclops creature with no legs or arms under the bridge.
It hopped toward them.
"Welcome, travelers.", the cyclops greeted, spooking the two dogs in surprise.
"Huh? You're one of the freaks the townspeople mentioned?", Rachel asked.
I am Gork, leader of Freak City. Ah, I can see two of you has felt the Magic Man's touch.", Gork said, looking at both Finn and Rachel.
"Yeah! You know that guy?", Finn asked.
Gork then walked back underneath the bridge as Finn, Jake, Rachel, Betty, Mille, and Callie followed.
"I will tell you all that I know.", Gork replied.
Under the bridge, Gork vomitted lava on the ground that turned into fire, which illuminated the makeshift cave (AKA, Freak City). There were also other creatures seen under the bridge.
"Ugh...! I guess that explains that bad smell.", Betty commented.
"No offense, but there has to be some remodeling.", Rachel added.
"We make due with what we've got. Anyway, we are the accursed ones, all once normal guys and gals who crossed paths with the Magic Man. That's Zap, the Arm. Trudy, the Waist. That's Wee Wee and Gorflax. They were turned into tonsils... And that's Kim. But, please, make yourselves at home. Would you like something to drink?", Gork asked as he proceeded to introduce the other inhabitants of the cave.
Zap, a pink humanoid arm, mumbled as he moved a bit, Trudy, a blue lump, coughed, Wee Wee and Gorflax, as light brown ovals, were biting each other, and Kim, a beige-colored leg, kissed a can and chuckled.
"Uh, maybe later.", Rachel replied.
"Do you have any orange juice?", Jake asked.
"No. Well, uh, I don't know. Maybe. Uh, I don't think so. I'll go check.", Gork replied with a brief pause before going off in search of orange juice.
"Yo, guys, this place is really bumming me out. Let's get out of here.", Jake whispered.
"What?! No, dude. These guys might be our only hope of finding the Magic Man.", Finn responded.
"And the sooner we find him, the better, if only so I can squeeze Magic Man under my huge weight.", Rachel added.
Then, Gork came back with orange juice.
"Hey, we actually do have orange juice.", Gork grinned.
Then, Jake started drinking the juice.
"Thanks for being cool and all, but what do you know about this Magic Man? How do we catch him?", Finn asked.
"I know this probably isn't easy.", Rachel added.
"Oh, not just difficult. Impossible! He can't be caught. He's got magic and we're worthless freaks. We can't ever beat him.", Gork responded.
"Hey. First off, he's not the only one who's got magic.", Rachel smirked, holding out her hands, which created small ice lightning bolts in one hand and a floating snowball in the other. "And second, I may be a freak like you guys, but you don't see me wallowing in self-pity like you guys, do you?"
"Yeah. Don't y'all even want to try?", Finn asked.
"Eh, no.", Kim groaned.
"Why not? You're all totally miserable here.", Betty asked.
"Ugh. It's a living.", Zap sighed.
"No, it's not, Zap! It's dookie diapers!", Callie retorted.
"Yeah. I don't want to be a foot!", Finn exclaimed.
"Well, get used to it. We did.", Trudy said as Gork fell to his side.
"Actually, that's all we HAVE been doing on our way here. I'm even liking this belly body. How many of you guys can say that about yourselves?", Rachel replied.
"Well, what's to like?", Zap asked.
"Zap, as an arm, you are a living bicep that can flex and get stronger through workouts.", Rachel responded.
"Wow, I... I haven't thought about that.", Zap said in awe.
"Trudy, you are an important balance between the upper and lower bodies.", Rachel added.
"Really?", Trudy asked.
"Yeah, really. Wee Wee, Gorlfax, you're practically each other's ears.", Rachel added as the two happily bounced.
"Kim, you are 100% flex AND kick.", Rachel added.
"Oh, you're too kind.", Kim responded.
"And Gork, you're the head of this group keeping them together. Me? Right now, I'm just a simple, large belly. But I'm not letting this freakish body stop me from finding Magic Man and making his life a waking nightmare for ever messing with us and neither should you!", Rachel urged.
"Rae-Rae's right. When he messes with one of you, he messes with all of you.", Mille added.
Gork and the other freaks were touched, if not uplifted by Rachel's words. In fact, while the other freaks cheered in agreement, Gork even started to shed a tear.
"It's as if your beautiful words are leaving a profound impact on our hearts.", Gork said.
"Really?", Rachel asked.
"I know we may be different body parts, but our hearts are there somewhere.", Gork replied with a grin.
"Huh.", Rachel grinned.
"Yeah, Finn, maybe there's another lesson to be learned here-", Jake began as he walked down to a pile of garbage, sat down, and got comfortable, even placing his arm around a rat's shoulder.
"To accept what fate has given you and stay a miserable foot.", Jake said.
"Okay, Jake, I get accepting what fate's given us, but him staying a miserable foot? Ain't gonna happen, Jack-o!", Rachel retorted in a deep scary voice before sending a magic snow blast across the room, forcing Jake to scream and flee for cover as the blast not only swept over the dirt and mud by storm, but had also caused everything else, save for the essentials, to freeze over, resembling a perfect home where the messy room used to be.
"Ta-da!", Rachel grinned.
The freaks "ooh'd" with awe at the handi-work.
"So, what do you think?", Rachel asked.
"Hmm. Your well-reasoned argument is... compelling. We shall begin our search for the magic man at dawn.", Gork responded.
"But why not now?", Betty asked.
"Because. We wanna check out the new digs.", Zap replied.
"Ohhhhhhh.", the 6 responded.
"Gork, can we stay here in what used to be this pile of trash and rats forever?", Jake asked.
Then, Rachel's belly growled again.
"Oooh. Got any food I could eat?", Rachel asked.
"Yeah, man. Do it up.", Gork responded.
"Awesome.", Jake said, flopping down on a snowbank.
Then, several rats popped out from the snow, revealed to have actually been mice cleaned by the snow, before flocking to his body.
"Here we go.", Jake grinned.
"Aw... It looks so cute...", Rachel grinned before her tiara glowed brightly again.
"Oooh, here it comes again...!", Rachel moaned.
Once again, her body started to swell and growl larger, but this time, her arms and legs pushed out all the way to the point that they resemble big fat arms and legs. What's more, her chest (which her hair hung over and covered), belly, and butt have also grown larger, earning her surprised and relaxed groans as she eventually stood to be an adipose woman with her main assets wiggling as she moved. Even her face began to plump up and have a sort of cute pudge on it, the sight of which left Finn astonished as his eyes widened with white star-like dots in said eyes.
"Ahhh... Now, this is what I'm talking about...", Rachel moaned before she plopped down, resembling a huge blob.
"Wow. Now, THAT's packing a wallop.", Callie commented.
"You said it. I feel like a huge blob.", Rachel beamed.
"Is that a good thing, though?", Betty asked.
"You bet, Mom. Just check out what I can do!", Rachel grinned before then morphing back into her inflated state from earlier, but this time, turning into a belly ball as her arms and legs got completely swallowed up as well as her head with her eyes and mouth then appearing purely on her belly.
"Ta-da!", Rachel grinned, making Callie giggle.
"Your eyes and mouth are on your belly!", Callie giggled.
Even Mille giggled at this while Betty softly grinned.
"Rae-Rae, stop messing around. You're gonna make me have a laugh attack.", Finn said, trying not to laugh.
"Well, what are you gonna do about it?", the belly ball girl asked with a smirk.
"Probably have a laugh, right? If you get a laugh attack, you'll have a laugh.", Jake added, rolling over on the snow.
"I…", Finn began before he failed to stop himself from laughing.
"Aw. There's that smile.", Rachel grinned before morphing back into her final transformed state. "So you wanna get comfortable with me? We got some time before dusk."
"Yeah. Maybe I will get comfy with you. Maybe I'll just lay down here. Lay down –uh.", Finn grunted, leaning toward Rachel's belly before landing on it.
"And get some rest for a while.", Finn said.
"That's right. Tonight, the Magic Man gets got.", Rachel smirked.
"Yeah! Fight as a foot! Fight as a belly! Fight as a foot! Fight as a belly!", Jake chanted as the two giggled a bit and drifted off to sleep.
Hours later, the sun had set and Finn and Rachel woke up with a yawn.
"Okay. I think that's enough rest.", Rachel said.
Finn nodded and hopped off her belly, allowing Rachel to sit up with both then moving toward Gork, who was reading as well as Betty.
"Get up, Gork!", Finn urged.
"Huh? Why?", Gork asked.
Then, Finn and Rachel started singing.
Finn: I'm glad you decided to open up,
But it's time to fight,
Rachel: You better get up, Gork, or we'll bump you up,
Tonight's the night!
"Whoa. Okay, guys. Just be cool.", Gork spoke.
Finn: And we'll be cool as heck!
'Cause we're pipin' hot!
Rachel then urged Trudy and Kim into action as well as the two tonsils, who were boucning up and down.
Rachel: Get up, Trudy! Get up, Kim!
And get up, you little tots!
Finn then hopped to Jake.
"Hey, Finn.", Jake greeted, waking from his own nap as several mice fled from Jake.
Finn: Ja-a-a-ke, stop tellin' me to enjoy, bein' a foot, and get out of that snowbank!
"Heh heh. I can't take you seriously when you're singing, man.", Jake only chuckled.
Finn: GET UP!
Frustrated, Finn kicked Jake into the air, forcing him off the snowbank, even forcing him to run, only to slide across the ice.
Finn: Magic Man makes me ticked!
We'll wreck him with our kicks!
Gonna reinforce y'all's self-worth,
As Finn finished singing, he and Rachel helped usher them all out of the cave and into the moonlight.
Brick by emotional brick.
"Wait, guys!", Gork urged.
"Sorry, Gork. This is really urgent.", Rachel replied as the rest of the freaks got practically coralled into a pile with Gork on top of Trudy while Kim and Zap are at his sides.
"I understand, woman, but...", Gork began before he, Kim, Zap, and Trudy all stood up.
"We don't like touching each other.", Gork finished.
Finn and Rachel finished ushering them all together (except Jake) and became puzzled.
"Huh?", the duo puzzled, seeing the 6 freaks all clumped together.
"Please, man.", Gork said.
"Wait a second. Mom, are you seeing this?", Rachel asked.
"Yeah. These guys practically make up a whole body...", Betty realized.
"Kim, get underneath Trudy.", Finn spoke.
"No, man. Please. I freakin' hate Trudy.", Kim begged.
"Kim, I will destroy you!", Finn threatened angrily.
"Okay, Okay!", Kim panicked before moving to get under Trudy as Jake walked up to her.
"Yeah, do it, Kim.", Jake cheered.
"All that's missing now is another arm.", Callie spoke before stretching herself into the shape of said arm adjacent to Zap.
"Whoa. Nice fit, Callie.", Rachel grinned.
"Yes! Now for us.", Finn spoke before getting on the other side under Trudy just as Rachel morphed into a bellyball and hopped on top of Trudy to complete the set.
"Look at us!", Rachel spoke, revealing that she, Finn, Gork, Trudy, Kim, Zap, Wee Wee, and Gorflax are joined together to make a single body.
"Whoa!", Jake gasped in awe.
They then walked to a puddle and looked at their reflection.
"We're like a big, normal guy.", Gork grinned.
"Exactly. You all represent the core parts of the human body just like Rachel said.", Betty replied.
"Thank you so much.", Kim thanked.
"We are perfect together.", Zap added.
"Oh, Finn, Rachel, thank you.", Kim repeated.
"You're welcome.", Rachel grinned.
"Word! Now let's go wreck up that Magic Man!", Finn urged before the group jumped up and down excitedly.
"Wow. Look at her. Taking charge of the situation like that.", Betty grinned.
"Yeah. From what we could gather on what Rachel told us, she sure knows how to keep a cool head. Get it?", Mille joked.
"Let me get in on this. I'll form the pants.", Jake offered as he wrapped his body around them.
Just then, the same voice from earlier rang out.
"Food. Food for a beggar.", a voice called.
Finn and Rachel gasped from seeing Magic Man in his hobo disguise.
"It's him!", Rachel said.
"That two-timing tranch...!", Betty growled.
"Y'all got any food?", Magic Man asked.
"We've got a little orange juice left over from – Wait a second…", Gork glared, remembering who he is.
"That's right. It is I, the Magic Man!", Magic Man shouted, revealing himself and heaving magic their way. "Zap."
They all shouted.
"Come on, apple grease! What are you gonna do?", Magic Man asked.
"YOU DONKED UP!", Betty roared before blasting out snow at Magic Man, blinding him and allowing Zap to punch Magic Man.
"We're not afraid.", Zap glared.
"Are you sure about that?", Magic Man asked.
"Maybe the better question is, are you?", Rachel glared.
Magic Man gulped nervously at the sight of the big blue bellyball before him.
"Now, Gork!", Rachle shouted.
Gork then vomitted lava at Magic Man but it was deflected. Alas, that left him open for Finn to kick Magic Man into a pile.
"You know, this could be avoided if you give us our bodies back.", Finn warned.
"Why should I? You still act like a hero only so you can get what you want.", Magic Man glared.
"Oh. You were trying to teach us to be kind without expecting anything return. I should've given you that sugar cube without even thinking about a reward.", Finn realized.
"Enh! Wrong! I gave you a snowcone without even thinking about a reward, Magic Man, and look how I turned out, anyways. All nice and plump like a growing big belly and I was still able to save the day. Just goes to show you, double M. Freakiness like this has its own rewards. My mom being here is major proof of that. And I should know. I had my fair share of them recently.", Rachel smirked.
Magic Man gasped in shock and terror, which gave way to desperation and anger.
"WRONG!", Magic Man roared, hurling magic at them again.
It hit Finn squarely in the face.
"Ah, geez!", Finn exclaimed.
"Finn!", Rachel and Jake spoke in worry.
"Are you okay, Finn?", Mille asked.
"Yeah. I'm okay, sis.", Finn replied.
"What's wrong, Magic Man? Did I push your buttons?", the bellyball smirked.
"Whoo! Way to lay into him, Rae-Rae!", Betty whooped, panicking Magic Man.
"How could this be happening?! Your predicaments were supposed to give you clues to the answer!", Magic Man shouted.
"Answer this!", Finn shouted before the big body jumped on top of Magic Man.
He wound up stuck underneath Finn's foot body.
"Get his eyes! Cut him in the eyes!", Kim urged.
"Ew. Not doing that. But I am more than willing to do this. May I, Finn?", Rachel asked.
"Be my guest.", Finn replied.
He then moved his foot body off Magic Man only for Rachel to morph into her walking blob form and press her belly body on top of him, earning his grunts of pain.
"Hah! You know, I guess I should thank you. You did give me a real kink out of being a huge belly. Even if you are a jerk.", Rachel smirked.
Magic Man widened his eyes in surprise.
"Say what now?", Magic Man asked.
"You know, this could've been avoided if you hadn't turned Finn into a foot and me into a big belly.", Rachel smirked, wiggling the belly resting on top of the mischievous magician.
Magic Man hurriedly slipped from Rachel's belly body in desperate fright.
"Okay, fine! You win! You king-kongs can have your bodies back.", Magic Man groaned before zapping them with magic that returned them back to normal. "But only because I never want to get anywhere near you again! You're unteachable!"
"Hey, I'm the daughter of the Ice King with manageable kookiness. What's your excuse? And besides that, if you gift us nothing but heartache, why does it feel like anything but for me?", Rachel asked.
"You try coming up with a worse curse than that; it's hard!", Magic Man retorted angrily.
"Surprise!", Betty shouted before kicking Magic Man in the groin, making him fall weakly to the ground. "Tranch!"
"Nice shot, Betty.", Mille grinned.
"That'll hurt him for a while.", Callie added.
"Anywho...!, now I'm off to... spread my teachings... to more... other sssssissy do-gooders...!", Magic Man groaned, barely opening a portal to escape. "And please...! stay away from me, Ice Princess!"
Then, Magic Man stepped through before the portal shrunk and disappeared.
"Geez, you two really scared him.", Jake commented.
"Well, that's the whole idea.", Rachel grinned.
"Well, he asked for it.", Betty added.
"Man, I frickin' hate that guy. But at least now, we can all go back to our regular lives.", Finn grinned.
Of course, Gork, Kim, Trudy, Wee Wee, and Gorflax are still voluntarily linked as a single body – even though they have their original bodies back.
"Well, actually, we like being like this.", Gork admitted.
"Yeah, we're strong together", Zap added.
"Bye, Finn! Thank you!", the former freaks thanked as they waved and walked away.
"Oh, okay. Bye, guys. See you, later.", Finn said, he and everyone else waving back at them.
"Phew. Well, that wraps up this adventure for tonight.", Rachel grinned.
"Wait, so, what was the lesson we just learned?", Finn asked.
"Maybe it was, don't give your sugar to jerks.", Jake shrugged.
"Speaking of jerks, what the blubbins, man?!", Finn reacted.
"Yeah, why didn't you help Finn and Rachel turn back into a boy and a girl?!", Callie added.
"Well, because I kind of always wanted...", Jake began before he mumbled.
"What?", Rachel asked.
"I said, I kind of always wanted to be a foot myself.", Jake admitted, embarrassed.
"What?! You could be a foot right now!", Callie reacted.
"Yeah, we saw you change into a foot twice yesterday.", Finn added as he, Jake, Rachel, Betty, Mille, and Callie started walking away.
"It's complicated, guys. You'll understand when you're older.", Jake said.
Then, Rachel placed her fingers on her chin.
"Hmm. Actually..., I think I see where you're coming from...", Rachel said to herself.
