"Uuurgh, that movie was so boring." An older teenager complained to her friend while they walked out of the theater. A younger girl -who has long blonde hair- nodded agreeing with her, while carrying a popcorn cup in her hand.
Even though taxis were everywhere, they decided to take a metro to get home where the older girl lives with her mother, who now has a meeting in Chicago.
Street was full of light and commercials were everywhere and people.
Mascots, tourists taking pictures and booths, and sadly homeless who just sat on the street asking for just a dollar on their cup.
A younger girl felt bad for them, but she knew not to give money from the homeless, because her parents had told that they might ask that next time again. A girl stopped in front of a middle-aged homeless man who sat on a street and so did the other one too.
"H-here, I know it's not much." She said shyly and gave the popcorn cup and her water bottle to him.
"You still have that golden heart." Her friend told her, while they kept walking.
"It was just a small thing." The younger one minimized her act, but was sure that the homeless had thanked her.
They walked in the street silently, when the youngest one stopped again, but now looking at her checkerboard shoes.
"You good?" The oldest one asked, seeing that her friend thought the right words.
"Kate, about that earlier."
"You mean that movie? It was good at the beginning, but then it changed before the middle." Kate chuckled and put her hands into her black jeans pockets.
A shorter girl shook her head and her hair flew in the air.
"I… I'm sorry, but I heard a call which you got last night."
Kate smiled a little bit, while blowing air out of her nose.
"No need to apologize, Julia. I heard some good news from a friend of mine."
Julia was going to ask her to continue, but saw Kate looking to the ground, her smile had turned weak.
Kate looked back at Julia and saw her worried.
"Uurgh, why do I feel like this?!" Kate asked and spinned lazily, where Julia blinked her eyes confused.
"Let's go to my place to do something."
Waiting on the lights, Kate got a strange feeling. It felt like someone was following them, but when Kate looked behind her, there were only humans, which looked like they were coming from work, but there was something strange in the air.
Kate looked at Julia with her eyes and saw her nodding nervously, when the lights turned to green they first walked quickly and then to the closest metro.
"Hey, watch it!"
"Sorry!" Julia shouted back and ran to the metro which was closing the doors.
"What on, earth was that feeling?" Julia huffed, but saw Kate staring in front of her, eyes shockingly open.
Julia looked there as well and felt her blood freezed.
A dark gray smoke who had red spots, stood in the middle of the subway hall looking at them like a statue. Girls noticed that no one else didn't saw that creature.
"I'll tell you later." She answered seriously and held tighter from a pole, keeping her eyes from that creature, while the metro came into the tunnel.
